Mark Koernke and Michael Nasser discussed alternative communication networks using repurposed ethernet cards and older computer equipment to create independent internet systems separate from mainstream infrastructure. They analyzed asymmetric warfare tactics, comparing chess and checkers as metaphors for different combat strategies, and emphasized that Americans should not allow enemies to dictate battlefield parameters. The second hour focused on NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) defense education, with detailed instruction on protective gas masks including M17, M10, and Swedish models, their features, maintenance, and procurement strategies. Koernke stressed the importance of acquiring masks while prices remain low and recommended stockpiling them for personal use, family, and barter.

A figure walking through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat and speaking low to me he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state You read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold you trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now his tyrants trample each God-given right. We only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, is to still the land of the free and home of the free? Oh, good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. This is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I'm Mark Kornke. And I'm Michael Nasser. pbn.4mg.com and we're on live 365 then go to Liberty Tree Radio. You will also find us on mirror sites. If you go to LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com, go to the chat room, talk to our people there. They'll show you how to connect with one of the many mirror slash reflector sites where you can listen in. off of the other services or feeds that we normally have up in public space there. So that's a cool solution. We're also on AM and FM micro stations, CB base stations, and alternate technologies both east and west of the Mississippi, southern and central Alaska. We're also on, gee this list is getting longer, the Hallmark network and the system set up the way it is we are looking at an entire new mechanism it's because of solutions and also fears there's a concern just as with everything else they're gonna start bollocksing up the internet well guys I guess I'm gonna give some of this away let me let me point this out and this is communications and this communications and medical Tuesday that's why mike's here How many ethernet cards have been issued out and how many ethernet cards are sitting out there in piles right now now the ethernet was a mini hub system Does anybody and everybody remember that before you had the larger? Systems that you see today ethernet card showed up first at college campuses and a lot of people said hey This is really cool. I can actually set up my own little internet, but intranet like inside a complex, a facility, a building. How about two or three buildings? How about 12 or 14 buildings? How about let's say that you run longer lines and you run your own amplifiers and you set up your own grid that allows all of you to speak amongst yourselves. Are you getting my drift here? Does maybe this make a little more sense about some of the ideas we've been throwing out there? Now, internet cards come in any generation and any number of quantities depending on how motivated you are, brand new in the box, or stuff that's been pulled out of equipment because they upgraded to the next generation. Guess what? The old ones were free. We got thousands and thousands and thousands and tens of thousands of them. What can we do with those? Well, we could also hook them up to systems that normally wouldn't be talking to the main system because they can't. Oh, what would that be? What about other generations of computers that well just aren't being used or other systems that just aren't being used and? Couldn't talk to the main system if they wanted to but on the other hand if properly employed allow you to set up a completely free-standing internet type system We don't need the enemy if we work at this enough because we can translate and then transmit as we need to. So I'm just throwing a few ideas out there. Think, well they gave us the tools to make another internet separate from their internet and how many old servers are out there for those you would like to do something like an Ethernet hub that is quite vast. Hmm, but not hooked up to the internet. Not the way everybody else knows it anyway. Hmm... Think all the technology laying around people start looking at things differently think outside the box We've been out of the box for a long time and we're looking in okay We see the system from many different angles and look at it from above below around outside And we move around it and we move through it without it being able to do anything to stop us Okay Ultranet technologies work in unique ways too. Well, yeah. Then, be honest, we're not fully up to speed on some of the stuff that's been done with the Ultranet because as it gets farther away, more people add their own niche to that technology. Exactly. The subsystems are countless people. Now, I've given people basic ideas on how it gets set up in particular areas, and you can research and check it out yourself. A lot of the technology is so Simple. That's what dumb found them because most of the time they're thinking everything is going to be so high tech. Some of the stuff can actually I guess let's let's point this out to think this way some of it can talk within the system When I say go through it literally talk through the system, and it is like a ghost or a shadow It's not noticed because you're not you're not at the same velocity so to speak You're not working in the same dimension, but still maybe in the same place Well, it's kind of like this these off. We have one guy in the chat room. We said well. We've got to understand their tactics airplane chess, and we're playing checkers And it's like, well, then they don't understand our tactics, do they? Oh, no, no, no. I'm not playing chess. They're playing chess. I'm coming in with a croquet mallet. Yeah, that was my response. They'll make me play in chess. I'm playing baseball. Much bigger board, guys. OK? Well, we aren't going to hit a beat with a mallet. Well, yeah, we will. It will be, but anything. Oh, hell, give me a crowbar. Give me that stick. How about the microphone? We can beat them with a microphone, too, can't we, Mike? Oh, absolutely. Now, you know what, one thing that, you know, this chest checkers deal, that kind of came up back during the beginning of this latest go around about Iraq. And it all boils down to the one that initiates it, is they are setting the game. And, you know, we can try to downgrade the Middle Easterners, the people that are fighting for the freedom of their country, by saying, oh, well, we're playing chess and they're playing checkers, but they're the ones that initiated the game. And in chess, you have to move across the board and capture their king. It kind of sounds like what the British were trying to do back here in 1776. With checkers, all you have to do is move across the board and then you become a king. It's very, very much simple without going too far into tactics. You have low intensity, mid intensity, and high intensity. But as a good example, we can strap a $40,000 smart bomb on an airplane and drop it from miles away. And maybe if we're lucky and it doesn't go wide, we can kill a dozen of them. But they'll go out and buy $200 worth of airplane tickets and crash them into buildings. And they'll kill 3,000 people. So whose technology is trumping who here? And we have to be careful that we're not and You can pretty much sweep across the board with ease chess You have to follow specific rules to get your pieces across the board almost every time we did this checkers beat chess every time Big time well again the the concept here is the subtlety of the the concept of one game is the idea to incorporate the subtlety of complication and because of restrictions as opposed to conventional warfare which really kind of throws all that out. Let's look at checkers as hacking and chopping rules. with none of the finesse because there isn't any required. You're at the point where all the game is, the masks are gone, the deception is thrown out, and to a degree it's tactical combat at its worst, okay? Now, on that note guys, hold on, I want to bring up something real quick here, because you know, thank you for, this is why it's great when we bounce off sometimes and do stuff on the air too. We do it off the air, by the way, all the time. One of the things I keep hearing from these people, and it's because they're, Because they're being conditioned by the rodents, okay by the rats, the bad guys, we just have to fight in the city war because they told us the next war is going to be a city war because they think it's going to be a city war. It's because they want what they want because it's what they've trained for. That's the reality people the enemy you don't let your enemy set the parameters for the battlefield You don't tell let them tell you that you know the next war no matter what it is your warfare is gonna have to be urban well even they wanted that way even with the urban warfare. They're training to go house to house one at a time. They're not accounting for you. It's like, well, one person asked, well, what are you going to do for me? I'm here in Michigan. The question isn't what I'm going to do for you. The question is, what are you going to do when they go to your neighbor's house? Because you see, that's the mindset. They've worked out of people, but that's the thing. Their tactics only work if they can go house to house and you don't do anything to help your neighbor. Their urban tactics stink. If a neighborhood is united, I mean they come in to do this house to house thing, and the first house they hit, all the neighbors on all four sides of the house decide, nope, you're not getting any farther, they don't walk away. Well, that's one of the things here that's most important. The problem that we're seeing right now is that most people are not sure when it's going to happen. Here's the attitude. This is the mistake. This is where the world changes when you're dealing with Americans. The bad guys, some of these, they're not Americans. They're parasites that have been brought as mercenaries into the US. They're invaders from England. There's all kinds of goose we got from Tel Aviv and Haifa. They're not Americans, okay? The biggest thing to remember, guys, is it's the old my fault, your fault, anybody's fault. You die first. Okay, that's the mistake they're making and I'm hearing this everywhere. I can go out right now and I better take, and this is true Mike, I had better take information with me every time I go out. Because otherwise I'll come back to the house, oh man I should have grabbed everything because here's all these people asking for stuff and I had to write stuff down. I don't have a problem with writing stuff down but Mark and everybody out there listening has to be more efficient. You gotta take it with you people you gotta have it ready so when you say something oh by the way you know about this and Just give it to them don't even think twice that is part of the cost of this war That's part of your engagement in this war, but I'm gonna tell you something you see they want everybody narrowed into this why brought up this thing about urban warfare I got these kids right you know as much as people doing the one and a warrior training for the you know for rural you know for out in the country or training during on jungle warfare when I think jungle warfare we're We're training in every form of conventional warfare you can imagine. We are not narrow. It's the other side that's narrow. They need, in order for them to work, in order for them to succeed, they need to band us into a very narrow train of thought. Now I'm going to tell you something. Every unit we've ever trained has been trained to transist from rural operations into urban operations with ease. In fact, there isn't a separation in those two except for the intensity and the close list of the conflict, obviously. Look at the math, people, come on! Now, unlike the place where they're fighting now in the sandbox, we have such varied terrain in the United States there is no single cookie cutter that's going to work for them and they lose, they know this. The only way they can try to balance that out is to sucker everybody into the idea that there's only one place to fight Mike Did you know there's only one place to fight the only place Mike you need to go to Phoenix and fight in the middle of the city Don't you know that? Oh Yeah, see there you go. Let it burn. Yeah, my point. Okay, you can't eat bricks and rock wonderful place guys But you know what I'm not gonna be watering the golf course in Scottsdale anymore. You know what I mean? In fact sure Terry waste Just as an example, so varied terrain all across the United States, but as an example, let's look at Arizona. Out of the nine life zones, Arizona has six of them. It's not just sand dunes and things down here. You know, mountains that go up to 12,000 feet and quite a few of them in the 9 and 10,000 foot elevation. We got the Grand Canyon on both sides of it. It's a highly diverse state. Big rivers, lakes, quite a bit of different stuff. It's not all just urban stuff, that's for sure. Exactly. That's one of the things is when I said transist, in other words, you've got to be able to operate and you have to be cognizant of the use of different skills. and of different formations to deal with the environmental conditions. You know what gets me? Here's an example. Do you know that we used to actually train our combat infantry with several different formations, and I say several means more than say two, different formations for different types of environments? and that we actually expected our NCOs and our officers to do their job to teach this and our soldiers were able to. But you know how many idiots make these snide comments, oh he only had an eighth grade education or he only had a sixth grade education. I'm rather fascinated that the average individual from that period may have only had an eighth or ninth or tenth grade education and some of graduated from high school and yet they could handle virtually every infantry arm that existed. They were not as specialized as they are now. where they're very narrow in their understanding of things, even of other arms. And that's what's really scary to me is the average American soldier in the US military, say World War II, had handled pretty much every firearm you can think of at one time or another, at least privately. We had access to them, we owned them in many cases, and then we went into war. It was not a big surprise for the most part handling other arms, other firearms. Right now there's many that'll tell you all about how they use that obsolete term. I hear that stupidness anymore I want to reach you and slap someone through a screen Well, you know, it's only a K98 monster It's obsolete and like my brother used to say you go walk out there on the well pump out the pump house about 50 yards away and stand on let me plug at you with five rounds We'll see how obsolete she is You know what I mean? Yeah, nobody will ever take him up on that offer. Do you notice that? Nope. See, they always say obsolete, but they would never take him up on that offer. And there's a reason for that. You know, that goofiness when they make that comment, it's like the equipment will work. If it works, here's the old adage, if it's stupid and it works, then it's not stupid. Okay, I will never say don't pick up. I will never say don't pick up an M4. I don't like the rifle for the most part. It's cool. It's a neat weapon. I'll use it when the time comes. But it wouldn't be my first choice having experience with so many arms considering my experience. It's a great thing. It's a tool in the toolbox. It's like, well, you got to have half inch wrenches and it's nice to have extras, okay? But it's not my first choice of things to use. They're there. No, I'm not gonna drive that but I'm not gonna be so stupid as to say well You know Mike those old M1 garands and in that obsolete 30 out 6 round boy. I'll tell you they're so old I just can't see anybody using those Now Mike you want to get shot with an out six Negative you think somebody with a gray? I don't want to get shot at all See there's the first qualifier do you ought to get shot? Well now here's the thing, what's more likely to be hit with than if you got hit with it, which is more likely to do some really massive damage you don't want to see. I don't want to get hit by anything, but I don't want to get hit by a .30-06 by a man with an M1 rifle that knows what he's doing at 600 yards. You know what I mean? especially a man who might have, you know, here's the thing that these buggers on the other side are not figuring into the equation. I got a whole bunch of men right now that every time I talk to them, and I mean in town here, they can't argue with anything I'm saying now. In fact, now they're just nodding their head. Now they've already said, well, we went out and got two more AR-15s, or yep, we can't get any more out six, but we bought 6,000 or 7,000 rounds of it. You know, what gets me about it is these fools on the other side are going to be facing off against men who have killed before and have used the weapons they're carrying, which is why they chose them. You know, when you've got a man that's carrying an M14, he probably chose that weapon because in his life's experience, it's the rifle that kept him alive. Now, with that being the case, he is going to be very proficient with that arm to make sure that he stays alive. That's the same is true. That's why I have total respect for a man with an AR-15 slash your m16 battle rifle or assault rifle I know what they are like carving if it's semi-auto because that's what it is. It's not an assault rifle It's not full auto, but I have full respect for those weapons. I ain't gonna stand to go Hey, what caliber is that? I'm gonna do everything in my power to stay the hell out of the line of fire and do my do what damage I can and knock them down before they knock me down But to be so stupid and some of these goofy comments by these fools who do not have a clue I don't want to be in front of a man with a 300 wind mag at 600 yards You know how many you know that was one of the first calibers Mike that disappeared from across the country 300 wind mag I went to about close to 60 sites and 300 Winchester mag went first 30 out 6 was right behind it and then like you know the other Calibers 3 awaits already been eaten up pretty heavy too But there was a burp of 30 out 6 about a month and a half two months ago that came in and that's what people were feeding off from That's gone, okay Now everybody's grabbing what they can in commercial ammo, but my point is guys. This is what our sides carrying We are set up as heavy infantry with men with experience that know how to put the bullets where they need to go Now that mean that's the difference between victory and defeat right there because that individual rifleman can put the rounds on target at a greater range with greater accuracy and equal power to Anything that the other side shouldering in fact we out range them three to one The the poor suckers on the other side in the immortal words of mr. T. I pity the fool. I pity them. I pity the fool But again, I don't necessarily want to change their ways. In fact, one of the things Mike I'd add in is we need to start the send a gun lock program. Have you got somebody you don't like, Mike? Out there that's been saying, I'm going to keep my gun and you're going to lose yours? Oh yeah, they've already been starting to talk about things like that, about who can and who can't and what kind and what size and everything else right on down the line. Well, then we need to send them a gun lock, don't we? Yep. Now here's the thing guys, when you get a free gun lock, don't throw it away, I know you're tempted to. Instead, pick somebody that is, you know, a coward and gullible at work that is, you know, anti-gun or is like, you know, quasi trying to be politically correct and, you know, sit down during lunch or sit down at some point and go, hey, did you get your gun lock? And what well yeah, you know the mandatory law they just passed it You know they're trying to be sneaky if you get caught without your gun lock on your gun when they bust into your home You'll go to jail for so many years. Oh You know what you don't have one. Oh hold on wait. Let me reach in my pocket here. Oh look I got one for you there you go boy. Don't tell anybody I gave it to you know they're keeping track of those things Give a gun lock to our enemies Make a point of giving a gun lock to anyone who opens their mouth and tries to do the I'm special you're not really did you hear about the gun lock law that way it neutralizes something that might come at you sideways and By the way it denies them quick access to our enemy you know with regard to our enemy being able to utilize them So it serves multi-purpose here guys also sends a statement. What are you giving me a gun lock for? Oh? Cuz I think you need it I think you need it really bad, you know, and do this guys. This is one of the things we can do anything you can have some fun in the process Mike. What do you think? The American Gun lot Carnage fun. Yes, exactly. Will the horror never end? Will the terror never cease? I'll tell you what we're gonna go to break. We're gonna be back in about three minutes. Mike's got to take over here because we've got things to cover. Alright ladies and gentlemen we are back this is the second hour of the intelligence report 25 November 2008 it's Tuesday you've got Mike and Mark we've got a whole boatload of things that we're going to discuss here we're definitely going to try to finish up with our block of instruction about resuscitation from shock and trauma and finish up chest injury, the sucking chest wound, how the clock was so rude to us yesterday and us trying to run it in there. But one thing that we announced yesterday was every, from now on, every Tuesday and Thursday we're going to cover NVC. So get your papers and pencils handy. We're going to run into this fairly slowly. Just as a, also as a heads up, you know, we've steered you towards the off the grid girls. website that is no longer existent, the new website, you've got your paper and pencil handy, corditecountry.onyoursix.com, at corditecountry.onyoursix.com, and six is the digit six, not S-I-X, so cordite, C-O-R-D-I-T-E, Also, we've been giving you updates. I apologize, I didn't get a chance to call J&G, but you can go to JGSales.com. www.jgsales.com. You can order online and they usually post what's in their inventory at the time. Okay, very good. Now that we've got those little things out of the way, we're going to talk a little bit. We're just going to start easing us into NBC. Now, some people have masks, some people don't, some people are thinking about buying them. I also encourage you, but you know when you're fully informed, you can make a better decision when you go to purchase a protective mask. There are different ones, the M17, the M17A1, the M10, the Swedish mask, the Soviet mask. Each one, you know, first thing, what we need to establish is that there's no bad mask and there's no good mask. Some of them have different features. They're all different. It's something that we need to think about or at least be aware of. The M17 was just your simple plain basic mask. It was pretty much phased out a long time ago, but they did not become obsolete. The M17 has the drinking tube and some of the M10 masks have drinking tubes and some of them don't. They're very similar to each other. Some of these Swedish masks that I've seen lately, they have a canister on the side. The M17s, the M10s, they have the filters in the cheeks. Now, the Swedish masks, they're not a full They will fit more towards the front of your face and they won't give you quite as much coverage. Whereas the M10 and the M17A1 will give you more of a full coverage so you will have more of your skin protected on that. One of those hats that the swimmer would use over the top and then the mask that slips down over your face and then it's got a canister down on the bottom. One of the things that I know that the M17 and the M10s have, they have a bigger eyelet. That's the part where you're looking at out of. They have a bigger eyelet, so it's going to give you a bigger field of view. The Swedish one, they have a much smaller field of view and the M17s and the M10s they'll have an eyelet out so it's a double action-barreled case. If you have the Swedish masks and your lens gets cracked you might as well toss the mask, well at least set it aside and be very careful. Give it to the same people that you give the gun locks to. But the M17s and the M10 family, they'll have an eyelet out there. You've got a double layer, so if you get a crack on that, then you can replace those. But also on some of those masks, the lenses right in the environment down here in the desert or bright sun, remembering what we've covered, daytime operations, if you're going to be in a mask. We're going to kind of touch on the canister. Then the other, they both have their plus, which streamlines their symmetrical So you have a, the canister is usually offset for the shooters. So the canister will be offset to the remission environment. You're going to have to remove your mask two or three minutes to. And again, it depends on your level of understanding and how many times that you, first time you try to change your mask, fill the cheek filter. It's going to take you a good five minutes of tugging and pulling and everything, but it's a knowledgeable, put your mask on to take your mask off. Now the one thing that I have noticed, I have, I don't want to go too far into this because we're going to be covering a little bit further up. After you've donned your mask, clear the mask, what you would do on the M17 is push in on the bottom where the exhale valve comes off. What that does, that blocks off the valve so it's not coming out that. What that does is if you get into a chemical and then you don your mask, there's ability that you scoop some of the agents so that you don't want them resting directly next to them, and they go vigorously and verticals out of there. But I've fiddly easy with your M17, M17A1, tried different hand combinations and everything else and I just can't seem to get a good see on it. The Swedish mask works real good, the canister one where you can put your hand on the side. Now it's also that I've noticed that in the purchasing, usually on the average these M10s that you can get, you're going to get two of them for about $30 a piece. The ones you're going to get three of them for approximately the same price. Swedish ones you're only getting one. So with the M10s you're getting two sets of and you're getting more facial cover and you're getting the outsert possibility that you may or may not get the... The next thing is a voice mitter. You know, you're hearing somebody talking on the radio and it's kind of a buzzing sound. What it is, it's a metal diaphragm in there that vibrates with your permit you to talk onto a radio or onto a feed. Do not have voice emitters. They don't trust their people. They don't think they need the radio. So in case you encounter some Soviet troops and they don't want nobody, they don't want to give you anything except the big four, and they just happen to be outfitted with their protection. Go ahead and check there because only the officers, the radio telephone operator, RTO, will have a voice smitter on your mask. The rest of the soldiers will not. So let me tell you who's in charge and who's the officer in charge. Just check their mask. That'll tell you a lot right there. The next thing is about the drinking tube. We kind of touched on that earlier. The M17 doesn't have one. The M7, some of the M10s do. The Swedish ones don't. We're not going to go real heavy into the eating and drinking drills. other than just to be advised of what they are because when you do the eating and drinking drills then you have to do the elimination drills. And if that's what you want then maybe that's what you're going to get. But I want to kind of mention that that there's just accessories that are available on that. Over and over again it's very important that you get a mask that has in front of your eyes or the out-serve of your eyelid. You might want to make sure that if you have, with some of the smushers you've got a very small to find those down at the highly recommend that those of you who wear eyeglasses to wear the M10, the eye would recommend also have do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, and on the outlets of the valve. We're going to describe some of these parts in the nose, the committer and everything. We're going to get into those a little bit. One of the main things is on these little latex, you don't want to touch right out. I've been checking in the last couple of gun shows some of these and I just find them anywhere. So, you see some, they'll usually run you about a dollar a piece. They come on a card, you'll get about six or eight of them on one card. Punch them out. As I said before, you shouldn't touch the line, but periodically when you go to inspect, you want to, in the M10, you want to take off your inlet valve, those with the corner of your index finger to make sure that there are spills on the inside of the mask, where the nose cup is underneath, where the eyelet, where the part that fits around your nose and your mouth, there's also another set that there's something need to be replaced. And there's also, as we've also written, it's almost cheap, a new mask. If some of these parts are the discs starting to get harder and harder to find then refitting your mask or one of the last year is about the waterproof. You definitely need to have a waterproof bag. If one doesn't come with good size Ziploc bag one that will fit in, you don't have to put bag in everything and all the extra filters and all the decontamination in your M8 paper and all those other things. If you're two, five, six, you don't have to have that. All you have to do is have the bag. big enough that it's going to be waterproof that you can mask in only to in the while you are crossing if you have to crawl like that side there if they become wet from being submerged in water the charcoal is it is not going from the bag because if you start bagging in mask in a bag inside your mask to be any sweat side there that accumulates or anything like that and one other thing is being that the price is way down and we've all and the scare comes along, ask that you can get for 10s all of a sudden on eBay, $100, $200, well that's when they get 10 of them. You can maybe generate a little bit of revenue and you can turn that into some ammunition money. Or you can also use these for barter. We always talk about things for barter, about fishing line and fish hooks and razors blades and what have you for your particular area. well you might want to think right now while the price of masks or it might be worth your while not only to outfit your friends or your family and for those people that uh... you want to give the gun locks to uh... you might want also consider this because right now for a small get you a brand new mask somewhere down the road that a vehicle a thousand rounds of ammunition so it's an investment in in in your thing so uh... that that kind of pretty much some of the things that you might want to consider or if you want, again right now while the price is low, go ahead and go for one of these M10s where you can get two of them for $30 and get some of the Swedish ones where you can get three of them for $30 and try out the different ones and see which ones you want. The money is not going to waste and you can always use these for barter later. Now some of the other things with the next blocks of instructions that we're going to be covering up in the following days, we're going to be talking about fitting of the mask, the inspection of the mask. maintenance of the mask and how to give an NBC report. And kind of that, you know, kind of the market touched this on, you know, the people, you get a group of people and you can always tell which era they grew up in because of what type of firearm they'll bring with them. Do they have a grand? Do they have an M14? Do they have an AR15? And you can kind of tell what they grew up with or what they went to the military with, what they were trained on. and what sticks with them the best. And a lot of times people use different terms, whether it's NBC or CBR or ABC. These terms, over the years, they've kind of metamorphosed the different terms. A lot of it's settled onto the NBC, but now they're starting to pound again on what it is. But basically, you know, we're talking biological, radiological, nuclear, biological, chemical. Any one of those things be basically talking about all of that stuff. Just as a quick, just don't think the objective mask is going to protect you in an area where there's radiation and that's going to help protect you. They're going to keep out the biological and the chemical part of it is once that you've got your mask, then you're going to have to have your knowledge and you're going to have to have a MOPS suit and a hood for your mask and all kinds of, talked about fields for your different NBC agents. We're going to cover over some more of that again, but we're just kind of, we're going to start out, we're all going to learn to walk and some of the things that you want to take into account and the minuses of to need, whether, you know, we talk about, you know, their AR or dry out and they do need to be replaced. So some of the things that we're going to be covering here in the next few days. Questions, anything to add? Real quick again. They're just a reminder that with radiological some people go well. What do you mean? They told us that that's not the same kind of threat well rule number one guys is that radiation? I know we have a caller real quick. We're gonna throw them up there in a moment, but radiation the number one form contamination with radiation is inhalation guys. The fallout and debris irradiated is pulled into your system, hits the little oviolized air in the on the lungs sacs, and is transmitted to your circulatory system where it then goes to settle in the bad places it wasn't supposed to be in in the first place. Ergo the reason for you know potassium iodate. So To eliminate that, because it's fairly large particles guys, is a gas mask will block it just like any other dust filter. In fact, anything would help. But a gas mask means you're working a little more efficiently and filtering pretty much 100% of whatever would have gotten into where you are. At a given point, there's going to be load up, you're going to do a spot check, you can use a dose meter, not a dose meter, but a rad meter to check to see if your filter is loading too heavily. And before that becomes a major problem, clack, clack, clack, Then you would dump that filter, treat it as bio waste just like you do all the rest of your filters and other discarded NBC protection equipment, and get on with business. So common sense. Now we're not sitting there waddling in the environment. The idea behind this is you don your mask and protective gear and you get out of the environment. Determine the direction of the threat and how the threat is moving and move to get away from it. perpendicular, move away from the path that the agent or the material is moving, and then get out of the area completely if at all possible if it's just that you were traveling in the first place. So NBC Defense, very straightforward, go to Liberty Tree Radio on YouTube, watch the videos there. They're going to help you a great deal, but it makes a big difference to understand the overall threat, and that's why Mike's going to be bringing this up. We have a caller who's been really, really patient, but I wanted to get that out today because gas masks are thin, guys. They are not enough to go around. Caller, jump in there, please. Who do we have? Hi, this is Linda from Florida. Hey, Linda, go ahead. How are you doing? I need to have you call me off the air. We came across an incredible purchase that I think overall you'd be interested in. but I don't think you really want it put out over the air. Okay, well not a problem. Let me get back with you as soon as we're off here. It'll be a few minutes and then remember we're back up at 8 o'clock so... Right, and I went back up at 8. Okay, sounds good. Do you want me to leave you my number? We should have it right there. Well, I'll tell you what, do me a favor. Call... just go ahead and give me a ring. Do you have unlimited long distance? Yeah, I can call you. Do you want me to leave the number at the house? Just go ahead and call right into the house there at five minutes after. How's that sound? Okay. And I'll be right inside, okay? And you'll be right inside, okay. Right, because right now I'm in the studio, I'm in the station. Okay, that'll work. Okay. Alright, bye-bye. Thank you, bye-bye. And I'll tell you what, Mike, another thing real quick, because I know we're running out of time here, we're not going to get to the next subject. Gas masks, any defense is better than no defense, right? Yes. Absolutely. There were times over I studied the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and when they'd come in and spray, there were people that just put cloth over their mouth and their nose and ran out of the area and they survived. The same thing happened down in Central America too. Don't get into that mindset. That's one thing that we've covered a bunch of times. There are people out here that really hate us, and if there were these people in our federal government that were really concerned and really loved us and everything, they'd be telling this information. You wouldn't have to come to Liberty Tree Radio to get this information because everybody would have a protective mask and everybody would know how to use one. And everybody would have a good stock of filters and everything like that. But these people hate us. It's going to be up to you to become educated and we're here to remove the fear of the unknown of NBC. Again, we're trying to remove the fear of the unknown, but let's get real folks. If you get into a heavy enough concentration of nerve agent, one droplet the size of the head of a pin gets on your skin, you will be dead in five minutes, period. And it's not pretty. So yes, for general, for, you know, particles of dust or fall. Some things for a quick early, whether it's a paint mask or just an old your t-shirt over your mouth and nose and you get out of the area that will give you some level of protection under certain types of agents. It's not chicken soup. Well, let's do it this way. Improvise, adapt, and overcome where we have to, but guys, we're talking being able to get a complete mask system for between $7 and $15. What's your life worth? The other thing is, and this has been a policy for years, if anybody that's ever traveled or operated with our our our militia units, we mount gas masks that are spares in every vehicle in quantity. In fact, my policy with the assault vans is that they actually, I've set up rings, Mike, all the way around the perimeter in the upper corners of the ceiling. And hanging from that is a standard gas mask, M17 or M9 type bag, and in each one of them is a mask ready to go. And those are extra and separate from everything that everybody else is carrying. That's my policy. That's what I've been trying to push for years. Better too much than not enough. If it only costs five or six dollars and you can put it on the shelf and it lasts for so long, that's a hell of an insurance policy. Now we're getting to the point where seriously you need to have the stuff in the cars. You need to have it in many cases on your person because we're that close. I think as we get closer and closer to, well obviously, once we're into next year, then it's done. The game's going. There's no doubt in my mind. Not from our end, from the bad guy's end. They're going to try and pull it. In the meantime, it's a flip of the coin and we got to be ready for that too. Well, we're at the top of the hour. Mike, thank you very much. You're going to be back with us what next day? Thursday. Okay, so everybody get your pen and paper ready. God bless the Republic. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen.
