Mark Koernke and guests discussed survival preparedness, wildlife threats, and self-sufficiency skills. Bruce Emming, a trapping expert with 30 years of experience, presented snaring techniques for food procurement and predator control, emphasizing the importance of learning these skills through instructional DVDs covering survival snaring, advanced snaring, and ultimate trapping methods. The show addressed escalating threats from coyotes and feral dogs in populated areas, including documented sightings in Ohio and Kentucky, and discussed how domestic animals and humans could become targets as animal populations grow unchecked. Callers and hosts explored cache systems, evacuation preparedness, and creative defensive technologies using repurposed household items like smoke alarms as tripwire alerts.

A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat and speaking low to me he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You vie permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state You read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold you trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he thought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave is this still the land of the three good evening ladies and gentlemen This is the intelligence report. So what I want you to do is let's do an inventory because we don't want to rush it either. Let's go top to bottom. What do you have available? But I want to also incorporate what purpose will it serve. both either, you know, for general information, say technical information about what's happening, like with the wolves, but critical technical information would be, for instance, the trapping technology, the trapping kits, everything that people need in the way information to, again, overcome a bad situation as it develops. So go ahead, first of all, give out your contact numbers two or three times. Let everybody know how they can find you and then what we have on hand that will be useful to the people that are listening right now. You're getting 30 years of knowledge right on these DVDs so you won't have to learn the hard way. And I show you how to take the equipment and snare everything. The first one is survival snaring and this teaches you how to take everything from schools to raccoons. I even got a porcupine in that one, coyotes right up to deer. And then the advanced snaring is just more tricks and more tips that I learned I want to pass. You'll understand. how to use this equipment. It's like having a gun and never going to the range. You know how to use it. And the one that I just was talking about earlier is my ultimate trapping. This is all that 30 years. It's only how to use that. You can use them for and it comes with the instruction and that gives you all together right out in the field back in business. The 110 counter bearer we were talking about. The 110 folds up. This is telling us about gaps and my question is, what traps you get for the big two-legged swine variety? They're strong enough to hold a wild bull, Mark would say, strong enough to hold any two-legged. And you just have to be a little inventive how you shut them, but I'm sure they're... A little different bait. Instead of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, you can sit down to Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Hey, wait a minute. They'd probably both be lured by that. Just got to make sure the bright orange wrapper is still on the one. The swine, the little four legged swine, they probably want to be able to smell it better. The other kind, you need to be able to make them see it so they're tempted. There we go. In the bait area, of course. Uh-oh. Go ahead, Bruce. Go ahead, Bruce. I'm sorry. The main thing, you know, like everybody called out. people called in on the five part part. But you can tell, I've been telling for 10 years and all my stuff has been test. Of course these guys have ordered from me and went out all over the world and tested my equipment. So this is top notch when I'm teaching words. So if you apply, the main thing, and in fact I was just writing about this, don't just get the snares and then go out and think you know what you're doing. That's where the DVDs really pay off. You know, it's all some little tips. takes all the most out of the country you can go out and legally snare. I should be going out and trying to find out. I got a home made barbie. The dash, jumping to the wolf video. Wolf video you can go to that website, quality, interviewed all the people. Well as a matter of fact, one of the things, that's why I brought up the idea that the wolf information is critical to understand the threat Which by the way, if you're moving cross country down the road here guys, as things escalate, the wild threat is going to be out there in force. There's going to be all kinds of things that you're not expecting right away, which is why you really, really, really need to both be armed and have the snares. The snares make things quiet. The quieter you are, the less attention is drawn in more ways than just the two-legged variety of predator. Remember any kind of sound, especially with game that's intelligent enough to run in packs, is going to be listening for things that it's familiar with. One of the things that came out of Katrina, although most of the animals were not a threat, is the dogs. Most people do not think about this right now. Given a short period of time and one gestation cycle, you're looking at a whole bunch of canines that have not or will not have dealt with people. That means that they're going to take on different characteristics. The more dogs you have, the more puppies you have. The more puppies you have, the more dogs you have, and the cycle begins. stop being fed once people don't have money to feed them they're probably not going to be too happy right did you get into the feral dog issue and one of the things that we're seeing and uh... i think ruse you've seen this too uh... with different critters around the country is we have uh... some domestic dogs running with the coyotes now And what we're getting is another mixed breed, mostly with the coyote line, you know, in other words, the wild hair up there rear end. But they've got the more aggressive traits, in many cases, of the domestic dog coming in. So I think that is part of That's part of what we're dealing with or having to look at when we talk about these coyote attacks that are taking place What they're not telling us and nobody's probably making any great effort to do You know check out is well how clean are the blood lines for that coyote? Is it a coyote or is it a mixed breed because you really would you know? You'd be hard-pressed depending upon the dog that's been running with that pack now in many cases as we know the stories they kill Most of the domestic critters that come around that are you know like within their sphere of control They will lure them out in many cases, so you've got two scenarios here Whatever they're getting that's coming into the pack is Copacetic with the overall packs you know general you know engineering the way it's set up and is aggressive and strong enough to stay which is really critical. So we're gonna look at this as another threat issue. Why you need to go armed. Why traditionally everybody went armed in the woods. Wasn't necessarily to save themselves from the Indians. The Indians left a lot of people alone unless they were into a certain, you know, a certain, you know, anniversary date or something. And it was the bears and wolves and other predators that they might run into that you really couldn't communicate with other than with the mawang shmang, you know, club. In other words, use a weapon to get the job done and deliver equal force or greater force back so that they didn't really want to mess with you. Ideally, plug them once, neutralize them, and take a Pelt home with you when you're done. We have a caller, by the way, guys, so I'll tell you what we're going to do before we get to the break here. We have a caller. Call or jump in there. Hello, Mark. This is Andrew from Ohio. Hey, Andrew. How are you doing? All right. I wanted to talk to Bruce. Go right ahead, please. We got coyotes right in the Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky area here. Oh yeah, you got the stirts in and them guys down right now. And it was back before I got my wheels back together just a few months ago. I was on the bus going out to the airport and the bus drivers let me off at a bus stop out there. There was a coyote that darted across the road and he stopped and looked at us. He said, you sure you want to get out here? I said, no, I think I'll go down the road a little more. Do you know what's, you know guys, you know what's weird about that? You know, we see coyotes appear on occasion in daylight, but very rarely. Down where you are, Andrew, in traveling cross country is one of the first few places that I have ever seen where I counted at least eight to nine coyotes on the east-west highways down there during the daylight. In fact, one of them was crossing with a pack and got hit and was dragging itself around by its front legs. It was hit bad enough the back end was busted up. And these things were at least 80, 90 pound coyotes. They were not small animals, they were definitely coyotes, but these were well-fed critters too. And what gets me about it, the medium was about 100 yards wide, had some pine cover and rolling terrain with high terrain east and west, well, I'm sorry, north and south of the highway. And obviously they've been crossing and moving through that area quite a bit because you can see some of the trails even through the grass. And thick and heavy enough that in broad daylight you're seeing them run around. And they weren't scared or even concerned except they were so arrogant that a couple got hit going through traffic during daylight hours. So that was kind of interesting. I thought there's again like you said Bruce, there's a need to thin them out. Most states don't have any restrictions on taking coyotes by the way. Michigan, there's no restriction on taking coyotes. The farmers over the river just east of where I'm sitting right now get together every once in a while and they used to. I don't know if they're doing it most recently here, but they would go on a little bit of a coyote walk, you know, where they'd go across the properties and see what they could drive up to the shooters at the other end. And always we'd get three or four coyotes. Always. Not an if, always. It was just a matter of could you get more or would a few more slip through? So they're everywhere right now and they're becoming more dominant now Another little tie into this too Bruce and you know and Andrew watch this Back in the 80s and this is something you got a jog Michiganders memories We're talking in the middle of the civilized area in the southern part of the state between the Battle Creek area logo Look at the map find Grand Rapids to the east of Grand Rapids between there and Jackson, Michigan is Battle Creek We had packs of wild dogs running 90 and 120 to 130 dogs in a pack and these things were not pets they were domestic at one time, but they were every shape and size you could think of and Literally, they were just going cross-country and carpet sweeping the deer like they were I mean just it was like Sherman's March to the sea Where they would hit a deer it would be spread over a hundred foot circle looking just like a big powder puff like it exploded from the inside out with fur in all directions on every square inch of that circle and that's the kind of threat that you got to start thinking about. Needless to say, we're not going to be snaring them out right away, but we got to thin them out. Snares are more efficient. One of the advantages, Bruce, is you could leave that snare in place and walk away and it's working for you when you're not there, right? 24-7 and that's the beauty of snares. You don't have to worry about the snow as much, like traps, you get a couple inches of snow it can get knocked out, but that snare is still working for you. I've wrote quite a bit about the feral dogs. There are 75 million dogs in America, and if even half or even a quarter of them get let go, we're talking millions and millions of dogs. And they can breed with the coyotes and the wolves, so we could have some snails out there real nice. and that reminds me, I have medium snares, all the snares I listed you can buy them by the dozen. And I've always said 10 dozen to put a call me up for a discount if you're gonna buy that many I'll help you out. Really gotta seriously think about this. You gotta get this, learn this skill. I'm telling everybody every year go out and you only catch a couple. Confirm they've stolen that. 0.4 trillion dollars Mark. It's not a matter of if. Just to win. I'll tell you what guys, we're gonna go to break. You guys sit where you are. I'll tell you what, Andrew, are you still there? I'm here. Okay, you stay right there too if it's okay. And we're gonna cover a few more, we're gonna cover a break here. We'll come back with more questions for Bruce here on Liberty Tree Radio. And it's the Intel Report, half hour break of the second hour. Some of you have asked me, what is send a rope? What is the purpose of that? I don't get it, maybe it should be get a rope. But no, I want you to send a rope. Some of you may be familiar with the concept of send a brick. Sendabrick.com. Sendabrick.com, the concept was send a brick to the politician since they're too incompetent to build a wall on our border. And maybe they'll get the clue if they are receiving pallets and pallets of these bricks every day. Maybe they'll start to listen. Well, this is much easier than sending a brick. You can do it in a regular envelope. It takes two stamps instead of 20. And... It's just very simple. So what you do is you go down to your orchard supply store and you get yourself a big coil of rope. Let's see there are how many feet here? I've got a hundred feet. Wow! I can send a lot of pieces of rope. So what I want you to do is we should get one of these and you pick the top hundred politicians that you can't stand. Not just that you can't stand, but that have been treasonous lately and it won't be too hard. You won't have a hard time finding a treasonous politician to send a rope to. If you want, just send one every day to the White House. So take your piece of rope, you take 12 inches of it, take 12 inch length of rope, stick it in an envelope, put a piece of paper in there with the word traitor on it, and nothing else. If you're smart, you won't put your address on it. You don't want any extra flack from them. But here's the deal. They can infer whatever they want from that word. Maybe there's traitors amongst us in the White House. Maybe there's traitors all over this nation. Maybe they're saying that you're the traitor. I don't know. Whatever they can infer, they can infer whatever they want. But if you do something so stupid as to say, you're a traitor and I want you to hang yourself. or you're a traitor and I hope you die, or you're a traitor and I want to kill you. You will have the Secret Service knocking on your door. So it would be my advice to you not to do that. To just simply write the word or print the word traitor on there and send it to them. See, because politicians have two things going for them. Their power and their popularity. And if they don't have their popularity, they don't have their power. So let's take that away from them. Let's demoralize the politicians who are demoralizing us. And let's do something, something of action that we can say, send a rope. And tell your friends to send a rope. My website's up, sendarope.com. Very simple, no nonsense website, no fancy frills, no nothing. I don't want any money. I want you to send a rope. You want to do something for me? Send a rope you want to do something to save this nation send a rope visit send a rope calm and send a rope and Ladies and gentlemen we are back This is the intel report yet Larry and mark and we still have Andrew Andrew any other questions for Bruce go ahead, please Well, I just wanted to ask you what do you remember what highway you saw those coyotes down here? Oh, we were on seven You know what it was we went to the back roads east and west north of the Ohio and I couldn't give you all the numbers because what we were doing is we were dropping off cargo and this is just this last this summer this uh... what June and July and we were down all the way to Chattanooga uh... we went over to uh... let's see Louisville and on all of the east-west highways at one point or another but the just north of Ohio of the Ohio River and just south of the Ohio River headed on an angle down towards where we're going. When you get over the Ohio River on 75, the first east-west main artery, we had to go that way so many miles and then tell it. It only took us eight miles and we ran into the coyotes. Well north of the river in the one case by about mole what a couple miles I mean because it runs back and forth I can't think of the art or a look at the map real quick We were using a land navigator, which I would prefer to throw out the window It was another person who another person who was driving It's one of those you know the net land navigator that takes you to your death well this tried to a couple of times There's a woman I work with she used to live what runs in northern Kentucky if I always on the Louisville state route 8 right along the south side of the river. She lived right off of route 8 and she sat about 9 or 10 o'clock at night. She just started hearing those coyotes howling all night. She said she was surrounded by them and they had a big dog in the backyard and he said that dog would just bark and the dog was fighting for his territory all night. Yeah, well that is the problem is that they perceive the domestic animals as a threat obviously because they are part of the defense grid for the land and they know this. Also, they look at the smaller dogs and simply lunch on a chain. And I think number one, the dogs have gotten away, the coyotes even, have gotten away with going in, scooping up the dog off the chain right on somebody's arm. And the next logical thing is that anything that the human is holding is fair game. And so if it's already gotten away with cats, dogs, or whatever, it looks at that baby and thinks, eh, it's just another meal. And that's exactly why I remember the one girl had the baby by the leg, I think it was, and she was in a tug of war with a coyote over keeping it. And meanwhile, all these other people said, oh yeah, they were flapping their arms and doing what they were told, you know, to scare them away. And it wasn't doing any good. Well, that's because somebody didn't pull out their 38. Or their 9 or their 40 caliber and went pop, pop, pop. That would have dealt with the whole problem. Okay, real quick. At the very least wounded well enough that it wasn't going to be sticking around. But it's interesting that finally the girl won the tug of war with the baby. But my problem with that, just like with these situations with the dogs, is we don't know if somebody has been taken because In other words, an adult has been killed and just simply hasn't been found because if it happened, there is typically nobody that's going to be around to go, hey, look, they dragged Fred off into the fill in the blank and he laid there long enough that the leaves cover him, the plants cover him, and eventually he's an M.I.A. We had that happen here in Michigan. In fact, two bodies like that were within a hundred yards of each other and one of them was a motorcycle driver, the guy left school, college, he was going to U of M, drove right down State Street, guys. Now if you gotta, if you, I could do video on this and show everybody, this is really critical, really. Here's a guy that went, obviously was driving out of town, he was in town, he lost it off the road somehow, who knows, maybe he was even bumped off the road by a car, you never know. But we're talking right in the middle of a residential area. and a little piece of property no bigger than the size of my house that was wooded, okay, that's barely wooded, only has little trees about two inches and three inches around and it has some brush. The guy lay there for seven and a half years. with his motorcycle, with his helmet on, and that's how they found him, how many years later. So if the coyotes got hold of somebody and dragged first Fluffy and there was a tug-of-war and there decides to be more than one dog involved, more than one of these canines, guess what? If Otto's, you know, 70 or 78 years old, Otto may not be able to put up enough of a fight quick enough and all it takes is the one bite and the right artery and she's finished. So I think it's already happened. I just think like we've seen in the past. They're not stupid. They take, we take weak prey. They go for the soft targets and once they got them, how do you know? Because what? You got to send a telegraph message? Maybe if they're lucky they got a cell phone, but 99% of the time that's not necessarily, that's not going to be the case. So it's not a matter if it's just a matter of when it's discovered, discovered with the next one. Anything else Andrew? I'm sorry. That's everything. Okay, very good. Again, appreciate your call. And another thing, Bruce, now go ahead and give your numbers out. When we're done with the program here, now, Cordy's going to be up next hour, by the way. Don't forget that. But the next hour, if you want to give Bruce a call and get hold of him right away, I consider this one of the important tools that you need to have. Any time I can find something that serves more than one purpose, and is reliable built by one of our people where we know the qualities and standards are maintained then it is to me an essential tool and that's one of the things about snares they can be used for so many things now we were just joking earlier you know Bruce you do have these little mouse snares right in groups of 100 you don't? No but you know again it comes back to that ultimate trapping tips video You won't be able to go get mousetraps at the store, so how do you protect your food supply? When you get that video, I show you how to take a five-gallon bucket and a trap diskie to reset. And you got all the mice you ever want in the bottom of the bucket. It's a really neat, easy homemade trap that can really, and again, especially with folks who couldn't food storage in plastic buckets. I haven't had it happen with mice, but I've had it happen with chipmunks and redscorps to get your boots and tell you them little buggers. It doesn't take many of them and they can clean out a five gallon bucket and they don't eat it all. They might stash it all over the place. Yeah, the only good thing, if you're really careful, you can find out where they are, Bruce. Just follow a little trail of special black rice droplets they leave. We're going to go to break here. Stay right where you are, guys. We got Larry, Mark. We got Bruce in the wings here with us. This is the Intel Report. Second hour, last break here on LTR. And we are back, ladies and gentlemen. That's Carl Clang, by the way. Carl Clang, if you get a chance to check out his music. And listen to Liberty Tree Radio, by the way, because we play music. And we do request. Ed's the one who manages that on a regular basis. So you need to check us out and see what it is that we have playing any given time, keeping his background noise. Rather than the bad guys on EM and FM stations, why not keep LTR tuned in and listen to our music. It's Patriot Broadcasting. Now, Larry, one of the things I guess we would kind of tie in and one of the things we want to do is tie in food storage with this. Now, here's another thing. You were going to have him give out his phone numbers. He hadn't done that yet. Yeah, let's make sure we do that again. Give all your contact numbers out again, please, Bruce. All right. Website, www.snare-tr- or you can email me up, prohumanpel.com. email me or call me if you didn't get the website, I'd be glad to help. Prohuman at what? And again, one of the most important things to remember guys is when we're done with the program, you can give them a call, find out what it is that's available and place an order, whatever it is you're deciding to do there. Personally, one of the things that I'm interested in is also the food storage process as far as tools that should be on the shelf. We've got canning tools. We have dry packing tools. We have a number of different preparation blades and edges that are needed. In other words, a cutlery box. Well, it's nice to be able to buy something. The snares, that's one of the ways I look at it as a way to fill the cans with things or to fill the food dryer with things that we can turn into jerky. The snares can sit on the shelf as part of the inventory and as part of your dry storage system in a pre-deployment point and be waiting for when you need them. Now that's one solution. And the other is you have caches that you have set up and established in pre-deployment form in many parts of the area of operation where you are or on what we call evacuation routes. rather than carrying everything yourself or if you're bringing people with you and you know they're your allies and somebody comes in bare butt naked when you get to the next cash everything is going to be pulled out everything is going to be allocated and inventoryed accordingly it's already palatized and it's already packaged so you know what package does what and the snares should be in there with those caches. Now caches are also places to go to. If you end up having to leave, say the house is on fire or the vehicle is burned, you had to point yourself in one direction with a compass and get to another location to your cache. You open it up, you dig it up, you open it up and everything that you need is there to keep you alive. I think that's very, very critical in the face of what we're doing and the idea of be prepared for the worst. Be prepared for anything. Assume the worst and you won't be disappointed, okay? And in our case with the snares, and I'm harping, but I'm harping for a reason. It's called life. One nice thing about the snares is again, they're a tool that isn't going to make any noise, not going to draw attention, not going to bring a flag into the area. They kind of even touched on it, remember, in one of the movies, Red Dawn. Remember, you only fire once, second shot gives them a bearing. Well, what if you don't have to pull the trigger at all? What if all you do is walk up there, make sure that sharp pointy stick goes one time. and or use the thumper hammer take your pictures number different techniques but one way or another whatever's in the snare isn't gonna get away and feeds the family or feed you for a day or a week or whatever for a lot less effort another cool thing is like we said you got a guy on the on the shelf there so to speak waiting to work for you the snares you can walk away from and you can be doing other things while they're harvesting food for you right? Once you learn how to use them, they're ready to go. And you can store them for years and years and years until you need them. They're just incredible. And they're lightweight. I mean, I really can't stress that enough. And fortune snares, everything only weighs 3 and 1 half pounds. It's incredible what they can do for you. Once you understand them and use them, they can be your silent hunting buddies all over the place. And like Don would say, don't even have to feed them. That's right. You don't have to have any conversation, you don't have to worry about feeding them, but they keep working night and day. Now another thing real quick here, and I know because we're getting towards the top of the hour or two, tripwires work in the same vein, in this case with the snares. Of course you could use the snare in the same way. But remember that you can also attach technologies to something like this so that it can draw attention. Tripwires work in the same way. A couple little tricks on that real quick. How many of you have old smoke alarms that you've got laying around or that you've got somebody else has gotten rid of and they've got to box them with your grab box of junk out in the garage? Have you ever thought about the fact that that alarm that's on that smoke alarm was designed to agitate the human nervous system? Do you realize if you put that up in the crook of a tree like in the crook of a tree where you can't reach it but it can still broadcast over an area that if you hook that up with a battery source and it's tripped There's no way to shut it off and that thing continues to blare and blare and blare and blare and blare and wa wa wa wa wa wa wa. That is a plus plus thing if it's out beyond your area of operation and you're wanting to, shall we say, annoy the bad guys. Very stressful when everybody knows where they are and there's nothing they can do to stop it. There's a number of different alarms you can get like that. They've got some in the dollar store that run off three watch batteries. You've got some that run off a couple of double A's. You've got the smoke alarm batteries that you can take the circuit and modify it accordingly. Simple switch system with a couple of pieces of metal and a clothesline clip. And what you've got are alarm systems. Now those alarm systems could also be hooked up to your game getters if you wanted to for game getting. But again, the idea is to be creative. Think of different ways with junk you can make useful tools. Annoy the bad guys or let somebody know that you've got something in the snare because you don't want it laying around for very long depending upon predator depth. If you got a lot of predators in the area, the other thing is you may not want to leave that line with something in it that's twitching or that's finished off simply because, on buckshot, they might figure that's the next kind of poodle on the line, right? You don't want to be handing your food over after you caught it. That's right. We did the work. Well, Larry, we're at the top of the art. Bruce, thank you for being here. Thank you for having me up. Now, one more time and people, when he hangs up, you can give him a call. Bruce, what's your number? Seven. Thank you sir, I appreciate that. You're having me on. You're welcome.
