Now the town, the mayor says it's like a ghost town. And a whole bunch of the little beauty shops and barbershop in a good portion of their clientele are around their ankle and they're day in court. We need financial help from the federal government. Different things you could put. If I just stop right there and rewind and make comments on this very, this, I'm sorry, post. Yeah, Potville, Postville, Podunkville, I mean, actually, I don't have a problem. First of all, guys, we live in a small town that's been invaded over the years on and off as the economy has changed. I would be willing to bet that that meat packing plant for the most part had American employees at one time. But the point is that they supported the United States. But after all they are, and what's the area they're called there? Isn't it called Heartland? That didn't happen that way It happened where they shoved more and more, you know, five at a time, ten at a time, then 20 replaced people on the line or on the cutting end, and the mo- in the, for instance, the, uh, the, the utility shop or whatever, and one step at a time they pushed more and more of those regular Americans out, and of course since they didn't have a job at the plant, uh, they weren't gonna stick around and do anything there. and progressively they moved because they were pushed out because all these suck-ups to the globalist agenda went right along with the program. Here's the thing though, all of a sudden they busted through the door. Why did they bust through the door? There's only a quick hand for the know-a-bok, quick, it's in the parking lot, the one with the dingle balls. Well anyway, the point is that they got busted. Now let me ask anybody listening, I don't care what side of this argument you're on, why were they busted? Were they busted because they were violating law? Nya ras, señor. No, it wasn't happening. They got violated because somebody competing against them wanted to put them out of business. See, this is the next step in pull pedaling because first of all, they should have been bumped a lot sooner and if everybody been doing their job, you wouldn't have to go into a factory and put the business out of business. So either A, a graft and corruption envelope didn't show up in somebody's back pocket on a certain day, or the competition set them up. Oh yeah, we're all in this together. Now, do you know how many, if you get a chance to search the internet, you're not going to be able to get through most of the time. I asked Eric to call Maine and he's probably, and thank goodness, I hope that he is. Maine military is busy like everybody else. Now, he doesn't just do ammunition and weapons. He does, obviously, he does gear too. But everybody else sold out. In less than 10 days, the whole system at the jobber end and most of the retail end was wiped clean. This means, as was pointed out by Classic Arms, and I read this on the air a couple times, Don, they sold from wall to wall and from floor to ceiling. And were it not for the man going out and begging, For things from friends that he's been in business with for you know 20 years 25 years, right? He had connections so he had gone say hey, you know If you don't give me something I don't have anything to keep a door open you remember when you were when things were tight I did business with you remember that I mean, that's what he did. He went up to Vermont. He's down in the Carolinas went up to Vermont and he got some inventory The only problem is the keyword was some and almost as quick as this stuff hits the door guys It went sizzle in the pan and gone now the same is true even when I'm talking about ammunition I'm gonna tell you something there's a couple things that happened here there was some Romanian 8 millimeter that came in on stripper clips and I'll end the other half of it's coming in we in 15 round boxes but I'm on stripper clips it's kind of weird Anyway, that's okay. Either way the ammo is good and it's 8mm. It's 70s production made for their reserve weapons because they had a lot of 8mm everything. That's why you see all these 8mm surplus kits for like the MG34s, the MG42s, the K98s that everybody, nobody threw those away because they could sit forever on the shelf properly maintained and they did. So anyway, there's a whole bunch 8mm that spilled out for a little bit. Now, it's more expensive than it was, but still cheaper than .308 and cheaper than .30-06 right now. Okay? So, you want to look around, but aimsurplus.com and classicarms.us both have the inventory on the shelf, or they had. But the problem is this, they went out, they resupplied, that lasted about a day and a half. And that's gone. And now they're resupplying again with other stuff they've been able to squeak in. And it's gone as quickly as it's getting there. Congratulations, you're doing your part. Now here's what we need to do. It looks like there's going to be catch-as-catch can with regard to material inventory from the jobbers and the regular gun shops. So I would recommend that if you're going to tell somebody from this point forward, hey, what do I get ammo? I said go into Meyers and buy every box they got of whatever caliber you need. because that's the best way you're going to end up with it in hand before January. Now did you hear what I said about that? And I don't say go to Myers or Wally World on a regular basis, but here's where we are. What's going to happen is this. Let's do the math. First of all, you're going to get through in the next day or two. Maybe you got to wait till payday. Today is what, Don? Friday? No, days Monday. So how many days? We're looking at five days till payday? Now guys tack five days more on to what's going on and where are we what month is that where we headed? We're headed towards December now guys Now the latest the soonest that they can ship and I think it's I think I'm out of date on this now the soonest they gave us as a quote last Wednesday for most every company that I talked to was between 17 and 20 days So let's take and let's say next Friday. You can place an order By next Friday, it's going to take 17 to 20 days for that order to be filled to get to you. Okay? Here's another problem though. Now what season are we into? And the Christmas season. And now, what happens to shipping during the Christmas season? So, do we add two or three days? Do we add four or five days? We don't know for sure about that, but let's hope that it's just a few days addition. But we're looking at, even if you were to order by the end of this week, you're looking probably the first of January before you get any magazine or firearms or ammunition orders that you drive through the mail. So I'm going to add something to this I've said for years, but now I'm going to tack it on as a priority for any of you listening. You're going to have to do your purchasing in tiers. I would go ahead and place the order if they have the inventory and it will be flagged for you. I would not go and do back orders unless it's an absolute last resort. You say things really really really get thin and they are already thin. They're already gone. But let's say that they absolutely say no it's going to be a back order because we don't have or we won't have anything until such and such a date. Then you might go ahead and do that. But if they tell you that and in fact I would even wait that long.
