Summary
Mark Koernke and co-hosts Darrell Sivak and Donald Betcher discussed severe ammunition and firearm shortages following the 2008 election, with particular focus on the Mini-14 rifle as an available alternative when AR-15s and AKs were sold out. They provided detailed sourcing information for weapons, magazines, and parts from dealers like Davison's (86 Mini-14s available), Center Fire Systems, and Sarco, along with practical advice on rifle maintenance and storage. Caller Dave reported on stock market decline (Dow at $7,997) and warned about proposed federal gun ban legislation (Title 18, Section 922) that could confiscate post-1993 manufactured firearms, noting Obama's admitted British citizenship status.

He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. Invist the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state You read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold you trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be burned. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children in fear to be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free? Oh, good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. This is the second hour of the Afternoon Intelligence Report. I'm Mark Kornke. I'm Darrell Sivak. And I'm Donald Betcher. Wednesday and so listen one in the chamber the slide is closed and the well is full the perimeter is secure And now we can offer equal opportunity course if force gets some gets on the day and of course as you know well we're gonna make sure that happens. It is a beautiful day. We are all plugged in. I want to say thank you to all of our friends. Great activity going on in the chat room. A lot of conversation about some of the new stuff that's been out there that there's a little bit of a debate on the 17 caliber versus the 22, both rim fire. In addition to that, we've been searching. I want to say thank you to Darrell because a lot of our friends, everybody's been helping out in so many significant ways this week. that doesn't mean the load's been that much lighter but it makes it a lot easier when all of our friends are helping the way they have. Again, thank you to Mike down in Texas, thank you to Tom for digging up the information on this HR and getting the information there and Spike, the work he's doing. Guys, with everybody doing more like this, we can't say people are going to get caught flat-footed because too many people, I'm running into people every day in so many different directions I can't count them all. I mean literally I can walk out people are like hey how you doing by the way and then they ask questions. So the important thing is if all else fails let this radio program provide the answers and let us speak for you for a bit or go to YouTube Punch in Liberty Tree radio and have watched the videos in LTR and have watched the other Patriot videos that are out there make a point of giving them a chance to think about and To see what it is that we're we've been talking about where we're going Why does that we stand for what we stand for that's critical You guys I got a una this ao. Oh, I appreciate Don. Thank you for sticking around a little bit longer I know you got things take care of okay. God bless your both. We'll see you at 8 o'clock. Yep, okay, bye-bye and And again Daryl, I asked we know we had certain missions we were on today So I'm gonna let you take the floor here because we are we've got people in need. So what did you find? Well, I found a lot of empty shells Most every place that I went to and I'm spent two hours on Monday and two hours yesterday looking for specific Calibers of rifles semi-automatic in that and what I have found is virtually everybody is out of virtually everything I did find One supplier that had some mini 14s, but he didn't have very many Davison's I forget where they're at. I think they're out in Arizona or out in the Midwest. Had about 70 or 80 mini-14s on the shelf, but that was all he had. Everybody else with Bushmasters are all reporting no weapons and they're on allocation, which means The factory can't produce them fast enough to keep up with the orders so they will get so many at a time when they get them. Everybody else has got stuff listed as being back ordered, including the fairly new Russian cartridge, AKs that shoot the 5.45x39. I talked to, I don't know, how many different places I called on the phone plus I did computer research and everybody is in the same boat. We're all waiting for the next batch to clear and get here. Ammunition is virtually the same except for I did find that Ammo Man has a good supply and selection of 223 ammo for those of you who are out there. But he does have a limited amount of 760 by 39 and it is now running $279 a case of $1000 for Wolf's Full Metal Jacket. That's up about $79 from about, I'm going to say, oh well, just before the election. Very good. Now, one of the things about this allocation issue, I mentioned this in the last hour too, Expect this to be the standard because nobody has the production ability the production capability To keep up with demand and you there you gotta think you gotta ask yourself this now and Daryl This is something I guess we should have been kind of hey guys well how many weapons did you go through? but imagine That not only did they go through the existing inventory they had in their shells which are quasi like distributor retailers But you got to figure they've already gone through everything the factory had in backlog Now I'm gonna tell you I talked to a lot of these people and they were backlogged even ferret of the ferret 50 rifle manufacturer, okay? Guys he had 18 receivers backlogged ready to roll only a month and a half ago. Okay? All of a sudden guess what happened guys? He's now three months in the rears as far as catching up with everybody that wants one. And he's not the only one. And he does half inch upper AR-15 receivers, Darrell. So everybody's in the same boat. Now this allocation thing It's going to be catch as catch can and the problem I see is that they won't catch up in time before the old feces hits the oscillating device. That's the problem. In the 25 years that I was in business, whenever I called, I've run into problems finding weapons at times, but nothing can equate to the shortages that I'm seeing now at this particular time. I mean, like I say, in 25 years of business, there's been peaks and valleys of supply and demand and all that kind of stuff, but this is the driest. I have seen it for availability of weapons. So if you can find them on a retail outlet store, you better buy it. And I will tell you this, there's a fairly large dealer sales place here in Clearfield, Pennsylvania called Grice Wholesale. I should have wrote down their address, but it's called Grice Wholesale. And they have a fairly large selection of what they're calling the scratch and dent sale of Mossberg shotguns. I was looking on there and they must had 20 to 30, maybe even 40 different Mossberg shotguns that have scratches and dents do not hurt the performance, just cosmetic value. So they have a bunch of those if you're looking for a good deal on a shotgun. I'm talking like a Mossberg 500, standard 500 with a 28 inch modified choke for $149. Grab it. So if you have a dealer that works with you, Grice Wholesale has a whole bunch of shotguns. And I did find, I heard you mention in the last hour mark something about the 5mm Magnum? Right, yes. Okay, I did find that in my research I even checked Navy Arms and I found that Navy Arms has some 5mm Magnum. I didn't catch the manufacturer. It runs around $21 or $22 a box. 21 to 22 dollars a box, okay? Yeah. And that's for 50 rounds? Yeah. Okay, standard 50 that they've been doing for years, okay. Right and Navy by the way, Navy is an interesting company because they did a lot of the odd niche loads If anybody out there has a 41 may 41 rimfire revolver, I almost said Magnum come on 41 rimfire revolvers used to lay around all over the place They're 100 years old many cases Navy was one of the few companies to make the larger bore rimfire cartridges So these weapons are not dead Again, you don't need that. They have that listed as one of the calibers they have on hand. They do. Okay, now here's the thing about that. I'm gonna remind everybody. If you've got grandpa's 41 Derringer, double-barreled Derringer, guys, you don't need a hundred rounds for it. You're not gonna target, master. With a belly gun. Okay. But I'd rather get... That's the last minute ditch that you popped to in his belly so he doesn't stick you with a bayonet. That's right. And you're not going to be worrying about marksmanship there. So 50 rounds or 100 rounds will do, okay? To at least have some ammo for the gun because you're not supposed to use it. You have to use it that often. But if you've got to use it, at least it's going to put a bullet down range. And it's probably going to be better than harsh language and throwing a rock. So... Again, Navy Arms 41 and they do have the 41 rimfire still that's good. That's one of those that's a lot of people would think well I got grandpa's pistols and I got this and this and this but I can't find ammo anywhere. So Navy Arms is still producing the 41 caliber rimfire derringer round. There are a few there were a few little actually single shot top break rifles that did that use that cartridge. And there were one or two Marlin lever actions that produced that cartridge too by the way. They're not common, but they're out there. I've seen them. If I've seen them enough, that means other people have them sitting on the shelf. Okay. Now let's go back real quick here because we're going to talk about solutions. Okay. A lot of you are listening and you know, I have no great love for the 223, but it's the old story. Guys, we got it. It's out there. You got to use it. Right? Aren't the AR-15s are there? No AR-15. No AKs out there right now, are there? No, okay, so in SKS as well the $56 SKS is now you know, that's 15 years ago. Okay Yeah, so let's go to something else here real quick. You mentioned that Davison's had incorporated has many 14s How many of those did they have on the shelf? They had four or five different varieties that Ruger makes they had two on the shelf and there was like 77 of one and seven of the other 77 rifles Okay, now here's my point guys. Now the Mini-14 is okay with their two and then 77 and what was the last count? 77 and then one of the other ones was seven. Seven. So we're looking at a total of 86, 86 rifles. Yeah. Okay, 77.7. Yeah, I think that's yeah 86. Okay. There's 86 mini 14s now Here's the thing if you can't make do one way you're gonna have to make do the other because if you're looking at a lot of people that are listening right now I know that we're pretty well full up on our listening listening audience here guys plus we're being repeated all over the country in different ways If you can get a mini 14, what was the price range on those any idea? by the way truth, they did not have the price advertised. Are we sure that they had them in stock? Yeah, they said they had the stock listed, but they did not have the price advertised. Now I'm going to tell you something, don't change the rifle at all as far as the way you buy it. You're going to buy the rifle off the shelf. Why? Because Mark knows you don't have that much money out there, so listen to what Mark's saying. You grab a standard Mini-14. You grab 10 or 15 of the Mini 14 mags and by the way, let me go right here, I can tell you here's where you go. CenterfireSystems.com has the magazines for the Mini 14 right now for a pretty unforgiving price of I think about $8.99 a piece for the 20 round mags. Oh, in fact maybe a little better price than that. Nope, I'm right. The more you buy the cheaper they are. 20 round mini 14. Oh Let's see 9.99 apiece for the 20 rounders. Oh by the way 9.99 apiece for the 30 rounders Darryl So for $10 a mag more you buy the cheaper there if you buy a number of them You should get a better price maybe maybe not we'll find out But there's one of several sources now most people are saying well I'm gonna buy 20 20s Especially in aftermarket mags are probably gonna be more reliable Okay, I'm gonna tell you right now and here's a warning What's gonna happen is these mag producers some of them are gonna crank out more mags But the problem is their quality control is gonna go down So somebody's thinking boy. I need a 40 round mag No, you don't you need a reliable 20 round mag as opposed to a semi reliable 40 round mag that was produced quickly that might have burrs or may not be properly formed or may have a bad spring right Darrell and to assemble, but the quality and the heat treating and the steel was shabby and half of those magazines didn't work right from the get-go. Yep, exactly. And this is one of the things that we've been trying to warn people about. Most of the stuff that right now you can access was made during what we would call the leisure time when people thought they had, oh, we don't have to produce as many. Well, the good thing is they had good operators, they've had consistent production, they had time to eat lunch. They didn't, they weren't fatigued. Okay, these are all things that happen when you start running a factory at higher speed but you use the same number of people. When you put them on 10 hour shifts instead of 8 hour shifts, they start to get tired, okay? And yeah, they like the overtime, but they start to fudge things. So if you can get any of this stuff right now, and that's why I like military mags for a reason guys because typically if you do a military mag wrong The country comes after you and they find you and depending on what country you're in they might hang you okay So usually military mags meet a specific specification that's been laid down in stone With the aftermarket mags. This is why I've talked about AR-15 mags. You can still get 20 rounders in thermal mags from mainmilitary.com. You can still get steel 20 round AR-15 mags blued from center fire to a degree but they're probably running down if they haven't run out already. So here's the thing, at least you can get a Mini-14. Now don't start throwing a bunch of garbage on this rifle. First of all, if you don't have a whole lot of experience with the weapon, you're going to have to first of all accumulate time on the rifle. Okay, and you're going to have to be careful there because you can't afford to spend a whole lot of ammunition. So, the way it works is, get the basic weapon, grab the extra magazines, try to find all the support systems that match up with it, and put them online as quick as you can. Better a Mini-14 in hand for now, then thinking, well, you know, Darryl, I'll get an AR-15 in March. Well, you might get one in March, but what happens if the parade starts in February? That's right. In fact, there's no doubt in anybody's mind, they've already flat out bragged people that they're going to be coming at us a whole lot sooner than March, April, or May. And if they do, fantastic. Then we've got more time. But if you have the resources, The Mini-14 is a fine rifle. One thing I will say about Ruger that has been consistent with him. I don't like Ruger because of Ruger's anti-gun position. And everybody goes, huh? Ruger has always tried to suck up. to the system and make a deal with them and never did him any good. They never got any good contracts, okay? They never got any big contracts, but Ruger always was antagonistic. You know, they would get, you could have the 10 round mags and the government could have the 30 round mags, like for the Mini-14. This happened for years. Government, you know, they wouldn't make anything other than a certain size magazine, which is all BS, because they had the ability to do it and they could have produced a good product. They did for the private military or police sector, but not for the peasants, okay? However, Ruger Mini 14 right now, if you have a problem with it, at least for the moment, and God knows what's happening at the Ruger plant, have it checked. They might be already swamped. But if you need a part from Ruger, you can get it fast. If you tell them a part broke, you'll usually get two and you'll get them faster. Okay, I will say that about them. Now again, depending on the model, first of all, now listen carefully what Mark's saying here about priority with regard to purchasing. Buy the toughest, strongest model first. You don't need a folding stock. If you got one, don't run out and say, oh my God, Mark said, no, that's not what I'm saying. For those of you buying a weapon right now, the cheaper weapon will be that one, that which has a rigid stock. It will probably be in the standard C stock configuration, which is just fine. Don't change that weapon, leave it just the way it is. You'll probably find it in blue steel being the majority of the arms available, although you know what, Darrell, I'm in question here. Were the 77 available? Were they stainless? You know? I'll tell you the truth, Mark. I didn't pay attention to that factor. I was mainly searching to see what was available and not necessarily the specifics. Okay, the reason I bring that up is because another thing to remember is stainless is usually more expensive, okay? So the stainless ones sit on the shelf longer. Now, they actually are quite pricey. However, with the prices going the way they are and with availability non-existent, if you get a stainless gun, here's another consideration. Phase one, I get a Mini 14. Phase two, I actually am able to get the AR15 or the AK that I want. You take the Mini-14 if you got it stainless. What could you do with a stainless gun that would be really safe that isn't as safe with other weapons? Could I bury that gun and be pretty well, especially since I'm going to grease the hell out of it? But would the stainless gun be a good long-term storage option, Darrell? Yeah, that would be an excellent long-term storage gun. And as long as you are going to, if you are going to go with a Mini-14, because that seems to be what you are available. Make sure that you get a hold of the couple of spare parts that are crucial for operation so that when you take it apart and clean it, you can, don't lose them. There is a little two-piece ring that holds the piston in place in the gas recoil system and They are kind of small so it wouldn't hurt to get a couple extra sets of those rings to put in the have the you know in case you were to drop one or lose one that's right the gun will not function if those Rings get lost in fact let me give you a recommendation the many 14 typically comes with a birch wood or walnut stock birch wood is preferred. It's cheaper, okay? You take the butt plate off the base of the rifle You get somebody who knows what they're doing with a routing tool and you cut yourself a... carefully, you cut yourself a centered channel in the stock at the mediest point of the stock. Now what does this do? This creates a storage channel for the spare parts that Darryl's talking about. Now what you want to do is go to one of the gun shows or go to one of the surplus dealers and find somebody who's selling the Stock tubes that were designed for storing parts or oil in for the British Enfield or for the m14 They're clear or they're made out of phenolic plastic, but they're designed to be sealed tight You want to cut the borehole? So it's about that size gee we figured that out by now I hope and What you do is you take all those funny little parts that you've got that are very important to the operation of the weapon. This could include also extractor and it could include other small springs. You put them inside that little tube and you put the tube in the hole and then you put the butt plate back in place. Now the cool thing is you put oil in there on top of those metal parts and they're not going to rust. If you want to do one step farther, fill it up with geeet, you know, with gibs, forgive me not geeet, with gibs, and now you've got a really cool lubricant on hand too that you can use on your weapon as need be stored with the parts. Now, when you need them, you unscrew the butt plate, you take the parts out that you need, and put everything back in the buttstock and it's carried constantly with the rifle. Great for storage, especially since you want everything compartmentalized on the weapon system, if at all possible, so that you don't have to go, hey, Daryl, my rifle's broke, we gotta go back 45 miles to get parts, don't you know? You think that's gonna happen, Daryl? Well, not out in the middle of the battlefield. You better hope that somebody, there's a place where you can get a hold of some good style of wire to fabricate the paper or whatever it is that you place. And that's not going to probably happen right away, is it? So again, I don't care what it is. AR-15, guys, most of your ARs, that's why I like the A1A2. By the way, we're at the bottom of the hour for a break. We're going to talk more on this when we come back. But for right now, I want everybody to remember that you got to go with what you got guys. If the other stuff isn't available you start going through the inventory like we're talking about. Daryl Mark will be back in about three minutes here. Mention Liberty Tree Radio for your listeners discount or just call us at 734-340-7285-734-340-7285. But if you can go to pokerface.com, check out the band. Think of the chat room, I didn't get a chance to finish typing in. Options to find friendly, I'm going to put that in there. If you are looking, this is, it's not a surprise. What somebody is saying is a Ruger now won't send you the parts unless you send them the rifle. Well that's sucking right up to the feds and right in line with all the political correctness we need to jam down their throat, we will be with a .30 caliber, okay? You don't want to do that. So the other option is guys there are a couple of companies that do have parts I think Tom's in the chairman right now to Sarco has a lot of odds and ends stuff laying around. Sarco.com. Sarco.com, I'm pretty sure is their website. But Sarco's been in the shotgun news forever. They deal in any kind of parts you can think of for military and civilian arms. Another one is what was old numeric arms, which is now Gun Parts Company. Gun Parts Company. They have a lot of stuff that they've picked up. They buy inventory from other people. It will be used in new parts. They have disassembled a whole bunch of weapons over the years to scavenge parts off them so they have all kinds of things laying around I've always wanted to go into their they have they actually part of the complex there's always a whole series of old dairy barns guys they have receivers stacked like cordwood I mean literally in boxes upon boxes upon boxes where they have disassembled weapons that now you just want to start collecting the parts and putting them back together or you build new and put them back together Anyway, you're going to start looking at the parts dealers at the shows then too. But one of the options is if somebody is a distributor for Ruger, for instance I was talking about earlier today we used to be a distributor for Wetherby, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Remington of course, oh by the way also auto ordnance. And because of that, I could call up typically in the past and real quick tell them, hey, we got a rifle here, it's brand new, somebody just bought it. The gas donut on the end of the Mini-14, the first models had a jump, had a spacer that was for the jump from the barrel to the fixture that actually diverted the gas to the gas port. You know, actually it was the gas port diverter is what it was. Anyway, most people didn't know when they would do cleaning on the rifle, they would disassemble without looking at the manual and these little donuts would disappear, fall out of the rifle, that's what they do. Guys would put the rifle back together and the rifle would not do anything other than work as a really cool bolt-action weapon. The gas system wouldn't cycle. Well, when you'd inform Ruger, they'd of course immediately send you ten. Right off the bat. They just they just send you ten. They ask any questions. Oh here take them on. Sure take them now. So if they've changed on that they wouldn't be a surprise to me. Because of that then we need to be looking in other directions. Also again, suggestion is at the very least and again going back to the idea catch this catch can. The Rugers out of the box should perform well for a number of years or even say so many let's say two years battlefield experience and then they die out. They've served their purpose and they've paid for themselves if they function for that period of time. Okay, so just keep in mind that with example, I'll give you another rifle the Hakim an 8mm Mauser. They came in at $69 a piece. Parts are not readily available for them, but there are some out there. Would I use it? Hell yes. Have I been able to use it? Guys, I can drive tacks with that rifle. I've had several of them. At 600 yards all day. When we first took them out of the box, we tested them at 300. And everybody went, oh my god, these things are deadly. And it was like, yeah, it's cool. But it's a bugger for parts. However, until it stops running, it would be a fine weapon to put in somebody's hands and at the very least could be used for garrison duty, security operations, place marksmanship, whatever. The Mini-14 is beyond that. There's a lot of other parts out there. There's all the support things you need. Now, short list, Mini-14. Grab that from Davison's magazines. Grab them as you can, but I do, Center Fire Systems had, may still have some, 20 rounders and 30 rounders available. I wouldn't go any bigger. I'd stick with 20s and I'd center on 20s really. But if they got 30s, go ahead if you think you need them. There are a couple of the companies out there that have them. Check to see what's available. The only other thing that I would add, and I don't want you to change the site system, there are add-on, slide-on-tight, pinable basket flash hiders for the Mini 14. That's one of the few things I would add for the rifle, add to the rifle simply because it is a security feature with regard to operations at night. Okay? That's it. Otherwise, out of the box, the rifle will work just fine. Go with a good military sling. Don't go goofy or crazy with anything too exotic. Kiss. Keep it simple stupid. It is a fine, light carbine slash light rifle just like the AR-15 and the AK. If you need a rifle, there's where to go now. Darrell were you able to find the contact information for Davison's yes? I'll give you an update on the number of weapons available They have 15 repeat 15 that was 77 yesterday. They now have 15 stainless steel Ranch rifles with the laminated stock that's a multicolored laminated stock. I was right That was one it was seven to blue with laminated stock the stainless steel is 967 and the blue is 869. And you can call Davison's at 928-776-8055. Again the number is 928-776-8055 and their address is 6100 Wilkerson Drive, Prescott, Arizona. Occupied zone number 86301. Again, the address is 6100 Wilkinson Drive, Prescott, Arizona. Occupied zone number 86301. One more time, the phone number is 928-776-8055. We're down now to 17 weapons. from yesterday when he had that. From 86 to 17. Yep. Now here's the other thing, I told you so, I figured the 77 rifles were probably the stainless because the stainless is running more, plus they're in the laminate stock, which is not, the laminate stocks are fine, they're just usually pricier guys. And obviously you're looking at about a thousand dollars a rifle and guess what, what we're looking at here is somebody, 62 people, said about $1,000 for a Mini-14 was acceptable. Think about that. And that's an odd niche. That is an odd niche rifle when you look at what all was available on the market. But a lot of people are going, well hell, better that than nothing guys. Now we're going to start drying up on the semis. That's going to disappear. That's going to be finished. The Mois and Nagats are still out there fairly cheap. Although again, I can only assume that with the numbers going the way they are, the Nagats are going to start to disappear too. But for the time that... Well, as I was doing my research yesterday... Oh, right ahead. A lot of places are advertising out of stock. So again, we're going to have to catch this catch can. When I was doing the semi, I was also doing the... So everybody's listened. Now here's the thing about it. If you can find and then the next step, let's go right down. Gee, what would Mark do next? Well, as we know, pump shotguns, you've already done a survey on that. and griswholesale, the scratch and dent, gris, I'm sorry, yeah, G-R-I-S-E, okay, gris, uh, I'm sorry, G-R-I-S-C-E. Ah, well that is, okay, gris, there we go, very good. Model 500, 28 inch barrel, guys, remember the 500's, the Mosberg's, you can buy barrels of any size you want. Do not cut a barrel. You know let's go back to the Red Dawn. I know we got we by the we got David New York waiting in the wings to it We didn't forget him Real quick red dawn opening combat scene remember when they first face off in the woods They have these nice perfect patterns with the shot all in that nice little green uniform remember that and After the combat action you see the kid around the campfire going Why is he cutting the barrel? You know, do you think about that everything got right into the target zone if I had matching sets like that boom boom I'm not gonna be cutting the barrel on my weapon. I'd be patenting going good. Good boy That's right And again guys, if you're stuck with having to use certain weapons and applying them in different patterns, different concepts, there are different areas, you're going to want the longer barrel for range. Shorter is not more accurate. Shorter is going to spread things. Shorter is going to leave more unburned powder to work as a flamethrower and make you a target. Okay? Especially at night. Yeah, especially at night. And you know what? We're going to be fighting a lot at night. So everybody needs to start thinking these things through they've tried they've done this intentionally This is not an accent with what Hollywood does now tell you what before we're gonna go to break here I want to bring Dave up because Dave has some reports for us too. We got Dave in New York PBN reporter Dave jump in there, please. Yeah. Good afternoon. First we're gonna get the cot stock mark out of the way then I have a couple of pointers on guns and this new bill before the Senate will do that after the break, but here's the stock market report today. Are you people sitting down? I hope you haven't got any stocks The stock market Dow Jones Industrial closed today at $7,997. Welcome to the downfall. And my crude oil closed at $53 a barrel today. Gold they say was unchanged but it's actually down $3 from yesterday and silver fell by about 40 cents. The only major fluctuation I saw today on the stock market as far as the international exchange, everybody is all over the board but the biggest one hit was the Mexican peso. They lost about 40% of a peso lost against the dollar today. So it was a big change for them. Everybody else was just standard up and down across the board. That's the New York Stock Exchange for the day. It's down, $7,997 for the closing. That's the first time it's closed this year below $8,000. We knew that was coming. That wasn't an F. That's just a win. It's been down two or three times below the eight, but they managed to push it back up. Today, they weren't successful. It fell over $400 and what was the fall? 427.47 points is what she fell today. So all the little hundred and something they made up yesterday didn't mount the Hill of Beans. Okay, on the 17 caliber, that is actually a 4mm mark, if I'm not mistaken. And Hornady for about two or three years has been making some really nice bullets. for that caliber. And I believe the weapon is a Ruger, isn't it, that he was talking about? Yes, Ruger, well, Ruger meeting 14 is the one that Darrell's been talking about there. No, I mean, that Spike was talking about earlier. Oh, there's Ruger, there's a couple of different rifles. I'm not sure, that was the problem. The model number didn't jump out at me, so some of the people in the chair... It's actually a 4mm, what that weapon is. Which is basically the size of a BB. Right, 17 caliber, yes. And it's very, very, very fast. Now, on the gun ban, the list that everybody's presuming is not a ban on those guns. Those guns are exempt from the ban. But, the question I have is if they reinstate this bill, because this is actually Title 18, Section 922 of the statutes, but apparently this gun ban which took effect in 1993 under the Clintinistas has expired, and what they're trying to do is reinstate this gun ban, and what makes you think that at any point in time, once they reinstate it, that all the list of appendix A which is exempt from the ban all of a sudden can't become part of the ban. Well, yeah, let's go right back to what I said years ago and it happened exactly as you know, it's another those big we told you so. Hey everybody in California, remember when they had the gun ban they did the exact same thing. The national version was done in California first. They had 78 weapons on the ban list. Well, what they did is they said, well look, we're going to compromise. We'll knock it down and we'll only steal Fred's guns and Frank's guns and they knocked it down to 20 some or whatever it was weapons that were on the ban list, which was still most of the weapons out there. Well, all of a sudden a bunch of goofs did the, oh look, they're being reasonable, they compromised, let's help to pass this through, and they passed it through. And the next day, as soon as the governor signed it, all the weapons that had been taken off the bill and the compromise were put back on by executive order and administrative order. And all of the people who thought they had a deal, why, they were screwed. And you know what? Look, the 20% that are special pet puppies will tell them that they are until they find out they're being served up with everyone else. We need to divide and conquer. That will be the agenda. And by the way, remember all these proposed pieces of legislation can be modified even as they're in the House and the Senate without waiting for getting that far along. changes within changes plans within plans scored ahead the current bill also says that it does not apply to any of the guns that were manufactured prior to 1993 I don't know what this present bill that was proposed in June whether they've changed that date or not it may still be intact October 1 1993 manufacturing date therefore any gun manufactured thereafter might be subject to confiscation So, all these new weapons, like you were talking about, Darrell here with these Mini-14s, they could be subject to confiscation if they haven't changed the date on the new bill that they're proposing, because it says anything prior to 1993 was exempt from it. And the other thing, too, you were talking about Ruger kissing up. Here's why they were kissing up, because they were trying to be their pet puppy, but here's what the law also says. the manufacture of, transfer, or possession by the United States, that is, the sell to them, or to, as far as manufacturing for, a Department or agency in the United States, or State Departments, agencies or policies or subdivisions, or transfer or possession of law enforcement employees by such entities for the purpose of law enforcement, whether on duty or off duty. They are also exempt that they can have any one of the weapons that are listed with no problem at all. And that's what Ruger has always been trying to do, is kiss up to them because that way they don't have to deal with this exemption law. I had two other things where Spike left off too. I've got two other websites that I have found that are excellent. They're the course of the three W's. One is People's. P-E-O-P-L-E-S hyphen rights. That's plural, rights, R-I-G-H-T-S dot com. People's hyphen rights dot com. The other one, both of these look like they've been reading my mail or reading my writings. The other one is civil hyphen liberties dot com. These are both case law and documentation in regards to the very things that I have been publishing for a long time. I posted this gun bill thing last Thursday on Liberty Tree Yahoo! groups. So anybody can go there to read the actual bill. And if you look up Title 18 on the internet, Section 9922, you can actually lead the existing law that's there. There's not much change, but they're trying to get it ready so they can expand it. Shall we say maybe the end of January? Oh, in fact, you know what's funny about that? On WJR, I've got to remind everybody of this. Last week, it's now been a full week now, at least. This is Wednesday, so I believe as I recall it was Tuesday between 7 and 9 p.m. on WJR, which is an AM radio station, a big boomer out of Detroit, WJR 760 AM. They had a no-call-ins program and they were boasting it. It must be in their archives because they do have a radio archive program set up. Whereby they were bragging that there will be 10 laws passed in 10 hours. Pelosi has stated that she is going to use the congressional martial law rule again. There will be no debate and no discussion. The idea is to get these through and to Obama's desk in 10 hours. Through the House, through the Senate, to his desk. 10 laws 10 hours as quick as they get one done They're gonna throw the other one up try to get them across into the Senate the Senate's already set up to just rubber stamp it and We're talking no debate no discussion done finished and jammed down everybody's throats And this is on a public radio station where they were talking about this This isn't you know just our broadcasting whichever reason well you guys know it non-obvious It's out there enough now where people are again. They got puffed up. I will say this I'm noticing something now. There's a pregnant pause here again where all these goofs were doing the Rah Rah we won this happened with the acceptance speech the same way where all of a sudden they were Rah Rah Rahing and Then he said made the comment well You know we're not going to get everything done in the first four years like you're gonna have to make an Emperor a second time Don't you know and everybody went dead quiet you went? But wait, you all said it was going to happen right away? Oh, certain things are going to happen right away as far as the next regime coming in is concerned, but it has nothing to do with all the BS promises that they made, which mean nothing. Most everybody had this image, and this is what gets me, guys. They all had this image of them being given the go-ahead to reach in everybody's wallet and pull money out. There was this gimme routine. I'm waiting there waiting to get be able to steal from everybody else and And they're gonna be able to just walk up and take out all of those evil people's wallets that they think they want to take money from That they're gonna be and of course well ideally then we have to lift a hand to be sitting on their dittars Somebody else is gonna walk up in a black uniform put a gun to our head Take everything we have and hand it over to those goofs. That's the image That's what these people were voting for is the idea that it was a freebie And that's the only argument that was taking place through this whole debate BS back and forth between the two goops. Who could hand out more freebies, in other words, who could steal more of what's in your wallet and give it to somebody else? That was the only argument and that's still what's in their minds. And they don't really, well now they're going to see real quick because we're not giving any more up. Okay, I'm noticed my discussion mostly on the on the air is how do we deal with this? You're gonna have to deal with it mentally you're gonna have to be paired with it physically You're gonna have to make sure that you have the physical resources on hand and you got to be ready to fight. Okay now As a key point here guys real quick before we go any farther I've got Center fire supplier. I told them hey, I don't care if it's outdated or not It was the latest one that they generated everything printed is pretty much out of date almost as quick as they print it now There are some AR-15 armors tools available through Center Fire System. CenterFireSystem.com 1-800-950-1231. That's 1-800-950-1231. But you've got to look to see what they have on the shelf. Now, Sarco is another company that had or has some material available also in terms of armorers tools for different weapons. Some of you have the CZ-52 pistol out there. You might recall that there were a couple of companies that offered armorers kits that had most of the micro tools that were needed that were built specifically for the CZ-52 and replacement parts. And oh, I wish I had bought 10 of these things. It had 10 barrels, 10 main springs, 10 of every pin, 10 of dozens of every pins. And it was designed just as like a machine shop tool. So you tool drawer, you pull it out, everything was exquisitely executed, everything was there you needed to maintain the firearms. Now, you may have to look for people who still have some of those that people haven't found yet. Okay? But the critical thing, guys, is to get the tools in place. I know we got another caller. Who do we have? I'll tell you what, Dave, stay right where you are. I hear other noise in the background. We got three colors. Okay, who else do we have up there? First we got Tom. Yeah. Okay, Tom. My daughter was talking to her, my grandson. Go, go, go. Talk, go. Could you do me a favor? I think that Dave said about something on the gun ban, but could you look at it and kind of... Absolutely. Not a problem. I haven't had a chance to yet. That's okay. I've got it right here, and you know, I agree with something that David does. Tom, I have the actual law in my hand, plus I have the bill that's in my hand. I got it right here in my hand. I just would like Mark to read it because... Guys, okay. I'm not too interested in a fight or anything, but some of the things that... Because Appendix A, if you look through it, it has different things too. Well, let me do this. Okay, don't worry about it. I'll tell you what. It's got the Ruger Mini 14 and different things. Tom! Okay, I understand hold on here guys first of all we're not going to do this on the air because we don't have time on the air So I'm gonna let you guys go on that one. Okay. I'll look it up. Don't worry about that I'm already gonna check on that but bottom line is guys even if it's on paper. It is totally rubber Everything that they want it because they could change it at a moment's notice right so we're not debating that there's no there's nobody arguing that as far as I'm concerned We're gonna get hit hard with it across the board. Okay? Well, we're not gonna get mine anyway exactly go but Mark, there's one other quickie. Obama has admitted that he was a British citizen until 1982. Well, gee, that doesn't exactly make him eligible for the presidency then, does it? No, it does not. That proves the point that I've argued for a long time. He has admitted, and he's on YouTube now, that video clip. Very good. I'll tell you what, we're going to let you go, Dave. Does that mean that he might be a Duke for the Queen? Exactly. That's correct. and the reoccupation of America. Guys, we're at the top of the hour. We got Cordy coming in right behind us now. Oh, no, wait a minute. I'm sorry. It's not that late.
