The only thing that saved 223 for just a burp, for just a moment, is the fact that there was a whole bunch of stuff because we pressed the envelope on that for the last year and we have, it's not been an accident. And so there was a burp of ammunition that was already ordered that now hit it just about the right time. Now that stuff is being eaten up and carried away as quick as people find out where it is and that's not going to last. SS 109, pre-sam-o, mix of stuff. But the point is that now what we have is what we've been explaining to you before. People are realizing that there are now smaller pools of ammunition and they are shrinking quickly, okay? You're on the savanna and it's summer. You ever seen how that works for the water? On the savanna and it's summer. The water line is back behind you about 25 feet for the high water mark. There's a big muddy puddle in front of you. Whoever gets the water is lucky. Most people won't be. Now this gets into another issue. Ever have enough small water? You will never have enough ammunition. You will never have enough weapons in general. Historical fact about any war that you go into. Now this is why I'm leading into the next point about, for instance, ammo man, which is where you can kind of map out what all the other situations are around the country. 5.4.5 by 39 is still readily available for the time being. Absolute solution to the best battle right in the planet? No, it's not. It's a nice rifle cartridge. varmint getter cartridge in the same category as the 223-762x39. The point is that 545x39 for the moment still available in quantity. So here's what you want to do. If you're trying to fill out the difference in arms, don't have a lot of money, what he does right now. You could probably find an AK-74 somewhere around. You can still find some mags and ammunition is about ten cents around. which also puts at about half or one third the price everything else you're buying in a standard rifle cartridge out there. So the 545 would be an option. The 762x25, well guys a lot of you did what you were asked to do. And the CZ-52s and the Tokarev's are pretty well dried up, but they're out there if you find them used. Ammunition is still available, but magazines are now again in pools and pockets all over the country. So keep that in mind. around for. We're going to help you that minute. We got a caller here. Now if you do the math you'll find that $4 a box right now depending on what you're buying that's probably not that bad a price. Well they got stores, I don't know if they ship because they got big stores all over the place. Right, well no my point is Tom, my point is that they paid the shipping. all you're doing is going to the the chain and going picking it up in little little increments depending on what it what it's costing right now for shipping and what the the per unit cost per round of ammunition is it actually is quite affordable by comparison if the availability is the other problem. The company chain stores like this we covered this a year ago. Wally World had 4 million, 5 million rounds sitting on the shelf normally they will sell to other people they refused to in light of what they were coming You know, I just thought that, you know, people would want to knock out a flyer. But one thing you haven't mentioned is a .5 Car Canos. Yeah, we should all be armed with 6.5 Car Canos. They can bend around corners, they can actually bounce back and forth a hundred times through two targets, 40 some to 50 some times, and produce multiple bullet wounds but not even distort, which means it should have plenty of energy left to penetrate more armor. Well, not only that, but it didn't leave any, I mean, it doesn't leave any... The Miracle Bullet with no rifling. Never wears out your rifle. But I just wanted to, I had to throw that far, since they're from Shell's there, Mark. Well, go ahead and give that company a name out one more time. Well, the Trigicon scopes were, depending on what model you have, were advance for their time more than service all the only consideration as we know with that operations with the trichicons to probably have either the uh... that citing system where you have the eliminate one of the other uh... either way with those remember that you're creating a certain amount of light in and of itself was at night night vision uh... if you're an open situation field situation uh... there are considerations there we may want to claim a modified a little bit by creating a plastic shielding for that There's nothing wrong with them in daylight operations, of course, they're fine. At night, the only consideration would be, and this is the same thing that happened with tritiated sites on battlefield rifles, is that with the advantage of improved night vision technology, which is what non-specializes in, any light source enhances the target area. So, make sure that we take that into consideration. Again, one of the advantages of it is, if you're in a close quarter defensive position, and they already, as we call it, The tritiated sites do have an advantage in several ways, or you eliminate rectacles in a situation where you're going to have light, dark, light, dark, light, dark. In other words, you're going to get flashes, bangs, you have problems with your night vision. You can bring the sites up, and if you've experimented with this, in fact you can do this. Turn the lights on, turn the lights off and out. Turn the lights on, you know, go outside and do this at night a couple times, then bring your sites up. The tritiated sites have natural night vision disruption. actually help to acquire the target and then to line up the sites more efficiently. So if you already know that you're in contact, there's a toss of the coin there about whether or not you could be worried about the metal illumination from the self-lit systems. And that can be even illuminated scopes. It's not that you're going to necessarily what we call glow your face. Somebody looking head on at you is going to be illumination, what energy is being expended, even through your optic. wanted to talk to you guys about that night. You too, Tom. I'll tell you what, Don, real quick on that. Pretty much with the night illumination, that's something we're experimenting with that we may be able to demonstrate in the up and coming video. That's a question that's going to have to be answered, or at least where we can demonstrate a couple of variations on that to show people what we're talking about, because we do have the Tritium sites. An example is regular militaries, guys, many of them, the U.S. military bought Tritium sites. The European military is one time or another. that like I said, 20, $30 worth of ammo, you can't buy $200 at a time. Well guess what? And yet they're not complete with that weapon. That learning curve is going to recommend again that you do surveys of, for instance, YouTube. uh... look for training videos look for anything that shows and again don't spray and pray don't get in the idea that somebody else to their burden twenty five thirty fifty rounds of ammunition and you're bouncing off the carpet that uh... that's why you're going to operate what i want you to pay attention to the operation of the weapon you know everywhere place where you can where you can have visibly reinforce how the thing works helps you and i don't mean the hollywood for version of the nonsense you know by the way I haven't seen anybody who can do a triple somersault while they're still zeroing a target upside down and then laterally twitch and hit all five of those bad guys that just happen to be spraying and praying at them with, you know, drums the size of, well, it doesn't work that way. I know they're expensive but guys that got them keep them loaded with just a minimal amount of spring tension on them. So when it comes time you hand them out to somebody with an AK or an AK variant. So now you got guys that when they're walking point, walking drag, they're not carrying a 30 round mag they're carrying a 75 or 100 round drum and they can do the same thing that 12 gauge shotgunner did on one point. especially drums in patrol, on patrol, if at all possible. And this is the, this was our long-term goal back when they were 19, 95 a piece, remember that? Yeah, I got six of them. Yeah, even though it may not be expected contact, our policy has always been in traveling, you switch to the 75 or 100 ground drums. I know a 100 ground drum is awful blasted heavy. See if they still have some of the military stuff there. Whatever you can afford, pick it away at it. They're there to have some than to have none. But if you've got grandpa's old like... Now here's... Don't confuse these two. 303 British is one caliber. 303 Savage is another. If you have a 303 Savage rifle, that is a unique caliber like many other older custom rifles for the years by gone. Doesn't mean you can't find ammunition for it, but do not confuse the two. 303 Savage is a unique case, you know, loading unto itself. You want to make sure you buy for Grandpa's rifle and keep it with Grandpa's rifle. Because we will never have enough small arms, we're going to need everything we've got. All the rest of the heavy stuff, guys, that's going to come as it it needs to with APC's armor. A lot of the guardsmen are fed up from so many of them, it's like I said, best that rodents are on the other side. Yep, you mean the guardsmen mark that they're taking their guns away? The AR-15A1s and A2s are out there in good numbers. You can build an A1 or A2 faster and you're going to build it cheaper than you're going to be building one of these M4 type carbines. Why are you going to short yourself? first of all we don't have enough ammunition we don't have enough weapons we need to reach the enemy farther out we want more penetration we want greater energy on the target now well i i will try will say this i've been watching what's been disappearing off the shelves and i really do pity those pools on the other side because u.s. the u.s. militia the u.s. rifleman is outfitted with mbrs and men yeah we got lots of aks yes we got lots of ars but mostly we overhaul pile of three 8mm, 30-06, 303 British, 300 Win Mag, 50 caliber bolt guns, 50 caliber semi-autos, and that's what's going to be cock-locked and ready to rock and roll. Punch them hard, punch them fast, and remember, use it or lose it. Once you get into contact, it's use it or lose it time. If you don't use it, chances are you may have to either fight and make contact and you have to abandon it, or you may damage your attrition. That in mind comes up first. Learn to use the equipment by letting somebody else waste their ammunition for the moment and then when you get on the range, you've got a little more experience. You get up on the range, you practice accordingly, perform, perform, perform. And whether you own one or not, go out and pick up a brick at 22. Yep.
