Mark Koernke discussed the constitutional role of militia as a check and balance against government tyranny, emphasizing that militia has historically taken many forms beyond state-sanctioned units, including the Rough Riders and Green Mountain Boys. He critiqued the Bar Association's role in perpetuating an unjust legal system and warned that the current government represents a globalist agenda. The show featured extensive discussion of quartermaster operations—the procurement, assessment, and fair compensation for supplies in military contexts—as essential to any organized resistance. Butterknife presented a detailed food storage program consisting of rice, beans, peanuts, and canned corned beef, designed to provide balanced nutrition at minimal cost, and demonstrated a procedure for home-canning butter as a shelf-stable fat source. Callers expressed concerns about election fraud, federal overreach, and preparation for potential civil conflict.

The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent, although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number and you've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave. O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free and good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is the evening intelligence report. I'm Mark Kornke. I'm Larry Lawson and butter knife Excellent we have everybody here. We're gonna have Nancy here in a little bit too, but guys we're gonna be delving into quartermaster But we're gonna we're gonna dovetail on this I want to talk about something real quick here. It's been going on first of all I know how it is and either and hopefully our little visitors are still listening They know that we're in the chat room a little bit a little bit ago I touched on this piece real quick. I have seen this before, this piece done by Vieira where every one of these paper pushers, I'm sorry, I've pushed paper too guys, but I've noticed that one of these paper pushers wants to do the, oh, you have to be under the government authority or this authority or that authority. You know who I find doing that? The people who feel that they're not gonna get their hands dirty, but they want to manipulate us. I'm gonna warn you, I'm gonna reverse warn this. I see this a lot. Oh, I can't do that. Oh, but I but they would lord over you and and of course they would like to sit down in the same kind of catbird seat that the bad guys have already structured. Now, from the beginning we understand our constitutional duties. We understand. our form of government. Right now our form of government isn't being practiced other than as a shell, exactly what we have talked about many times on the air and what the founding fathers talked about from the very beginning of this country, the one thing that they warned about in the Federalist Papers, the Anti-Federalist Papers, you can still find, although most of the copies have been purged from the controlled libraries because of space don't you know but uh... you you'll find that uh... if you look long enough you can find in the used bookstores books that have been purged from the shelves that were the documents whereby the founding fathers wrote back and forth to each other's letters of correspondence that were made public and obviously were intended not just for each other but also to raise questions or present arguments in the public eye and make no mistake about it they know what they were doing uh... the idea was to hopefully get people to think well there comes a point in time where if the corruption what i've seen all the other term that was used as the business in teen corruption become so permeated, then are you going to let one of these maniacal nutcases as far as in the system take over the people to the degree that the Nth degree that we just hand everything right back over to them? Now, I don't have a problem with people being knowledgeable of the administrative end of what we're doing, but there are two schools and one of them is a wrongful school. The Admiralty Courts and all of the precedent-setting nonsense that, by the way, is totally arbitrary and totally wrong, is something that we are going to be getting rid of, okay? The one thing that the Bar Association, something that nobody's mentioned here, has fostered for years and years and years, is to become the parasite upon our necks, constantly altering the battlefield, so to speak, and swiveling us back into the Tyrants' clutches. Which is why we're where we are right now. Isn't Osamabama Ding Dong a member of the Bar? Does everybody forget this? At the very least, he is a member of the British Accredited Registry. I don't give a shit what bottom-feeding potlicker you talk about if they're at the federal level of that right now. That is our number one problem. These are globalists with a globalist agenda. They are the social avant-garde of the fifth column, also known as the bankers. And their job is to, the bankers are fabricating the money and then they, the bar members, utilize the fiction that they've created to milk us for our time and bleed us until there's nothing left to take. Okay, that's how it works. Now, with regard to the argument about the militia, there have always been and there were always many tiers of militia. And that's another thing they don't want to dwell on. Let me give you an example of this. How many people, and this is one of the last of the real public ones before they had to kind of shut up about it, even though we had militia in World War I, and I don't mean National Guard, we had militia in World War I and we had militia in World War II. In fact, we had extensive militia in World War II, or you and I would be speaking Japanese and German right now. Well, whichever one topped out on that fight would have been interesting. The Germans may not have gotten over here, but the Japanese had a real ambition. Okay, and had it were it not for the fact that many Japanese commanders had been over here seeing how the people were armed, they would have thought it a lot easier pushover because it has already been demonstrated through captured documents that they were not afraid of the military. They knew they could fight a military. What they knew they couldn't fight is the whole of the population armed to the teeth so they couldn't walk in and foreclose or confiscate the land. Okay? Now, the reason I bring up the last version that was most public? Well, what about Teddy? Remember old Teddy there? Has anybody ever done a study on the Rough Riders and where they came from? Were they authorized and brought up as a state's militia? Were they authorized and brought up even as a say a county militia now they were to a degree but only after the fact in reality they were an independent militia formation raised by Teddy Roosevelt Given a name they decided upon their own color their own flag for their unit they came up with all of the heraldry themselves and their weapons were donated by you know contacts at Roosevelt head inside the arms industry Oh, they don't want to talk about that one, do they? You see? But that's one of many of the variances in the militia that have always been in this country that are part of something everybody seems to forget. Multiple checks and balances. Multiple checks and balances. You know who doesn't like that? People who want to be power freaks. The bottom line is at the center of protecting our liberty and our wealth, is the militia in the possession of we the people of the people themselves to wield the sword and the shield together when it is obvious that the system has completely failed the people which is where we are right now. We have an alien mechanism contrary right now to all the founding documents of this nation be they the Declaration of Independence be it the even the Fairfax Resolves, but also say the Articles of Confederation or the Constitution itself. The militia even back in that day was many different tiers of organized and unorganized or consortium type militia where people would come together. Now let me give you an example of this. What about the Green Mountain Boys of the Revolution? I'm not going to tell you all that story because we got other things to cover tonight, but I want to give you some history work to do. Do some research on the Green Mountain Boys. Take and study many of the militias that decided, you know, I've just had enough and these suckers are continuing the fight. We need to get in this. They didn't wait for permission from some statesman who of course was in most cases wearing a wig and was profiting from continuing to perpetuate the arbitrary and alien laws that had been adopted that are enumerated in the Declaration of Independence. Go down the checklist So when everybody talks about this and I just glanced the severe thing It's like we've talked so many times and I hate having to always do that But we do have to remind everybody you know many years of broadcasting we've done and in that time We've covered most of this at one time or the only have somebody say well you guys just don't kiss my honey den You know how many hours? I mean I didn't get any sleep last night. I didn't go to bed last night at all Okay, period In fact, this is the second day I've been up because of all the stuff that needs to be done because there is so much that needs to be done. And I mean, I've touched on everything in the last 48 hours that you can imagine, guys, just to cover the subjects that need to be covered and take care of the things and dot all the I's and cross all the T's. But here's one point, I brought this up even earlier on this week, because Vera mentioned this thing, well, you know, we become like brigands because we have to resupply. We've talked about Quartermaster. See, I'm going to segue this right into what our subject is tonight. Let me ask you something. Do you think that we'd be speaking as Americans, as Americans of these United States, were it not for the fact that George Washington's quartermaster commandeered a whole bunch of flatboats to escape the British military and he didn't go out and build those flatboats? He went out and he had to procure the flatboats utilizing military script from the militia from the and from the regulars to the boat owner who was very dissatisfied because he knew that he probably wasn't going to see those boats returned and it was his livelihood the boats that they grabbed were ore boats flat bottom cargo boats and the man had a business upriver what they did is they collected them brought them back down and we escaped the clutches of the British military Because he had to core he had to confiscate at a given point now that doesn't mean you work as quote-unquote brigands or whatever But you know some of these goofs never and I have a problem because they sit down too long They don't they don't go in-depth in plastic. It's plastic. Yeah when we talk about supply and support with quartermaster What have we discussed you I've gotten this argument till three and four in the morning about the fact that the quartermaster is one of the oldest elements of our of our militia that we have short of the combat infantry and cavalry or mechanized as we call it today. We're going to go to break. We'll be back in three minutes here on Liberty Tree Radio. That's very different when people are passionate about what they believe in they become a very difficult enemy to be Who was the first terrorist organization in the United States? Who? You mean Thomas Jefferson? You mean George Washington? These guys right here When you ask yourself, did they try to scare people? Oh yeah. They tried to intimidate the British, did they try to, did they use acts of violence? Your founding fathers, my founding fathers, were involved in acts of terrorism against British officials because they systematically had British officials assassinated. Assassinated. The guys who we call our founding fathers, George Washington, Mr. Honors, who cut down the cherry tree and admitted it, is the same guy who signed death orders, if you will, on members of the British government, the British crown, who they wanted to eliminate because politically they had influence in certain pockets of the United States at that time in the 13 colonies, and they wanted to divide and conquer. They may get a whole lot of civilians. If they kill 10,000 civilians tomorrow with a biological agent, that's too bad for them. and it's a three-part piece on the militia. I've seen bits and pieces of this already, but one of the points, the reason I brought it up is when they're talking about, for instance, they had a procurer and oh, they used that as an excuse, talking about the zealots of the first century, yada, yada, yada. Now, armies have always done that. The biggest problem is whether or not you can be just and are trying to come up with a solution. Now, the point is, this is why armies started to develop and have had for the longest time quartermaster. We call him quarter bastard, of course, depending on where you are and what army you're in. But quartermaster, the purpose behind the man, they were actually trained individuals that were designed to essay material and equipment, come up with a fair market value depending upon the grade and quality of the equipment. And it could be food, it could be tack, it could be horses, it could be tires, it could be whatever. And then also compensate accordingly either with available currency or with script written to temporarily replace currency as needed. Now this is part of the job of the quartermaster the essay part is because it works both ways people go they're taking stuff well yeah, but if they're taking grade, you know be grain that's got maggots and moles in it and Enough mouse droppings that it looks like half of your grain is brown Then you don't get paid as much for that You know what I mean? Because one of the problems you have and why quartermaster was so essential is also to protect the troops How many instances have we seen of chicanery by these garbage contractors who are low bidders who are scum? I mean, it's only to describe it a man's life is going to depend upon something in a situation where the it's tenable at best that you may survive And these jackasses, they would actually betray our soldiers. Now in the Civil War, the Union side, and I think the Confederates did this a few times too, actually hung some contractors because they knew that they had a flawed process. They knew what they were doing. They cheaped out on it. And men died and they tracked it back to the people who perpetrated the action. In more recent years, an example of this would be like the scandal of the Kevlar helmets in the late 80s. They started making these Kevlar helmets. Contractors tried out bid contractors. Oh yes, they did put a smaller bid out there, guys. But what they did is instead of the 27 to 30-some layers of Kevlar designated, they started skimping on the Kevlar so they could make more profit because they wouldn't have to buy as much Kevlar. Now, do you want to be the soldier out there with half as many sheets of Kevlar pressed into the helmet? Well, Larry, how about you? Doesn't sound like a good idea. Butter knife, what do you think? I'll pass. I think that's what the soldiers did too, but because of inspectors who are tied into supply and other individuals who complain from other elements of the military, they went in, did an inspection, grabbed a helmet off the line, cut it in half, counted the sheets, and the business was halted. Now that's in recent times, you know, there was people saying, oh, that's in the patent. No, we're talking right up to right now. I'll give you another example of this, uniforms. Anybody who was in uniform when the BDU Woodland camouflage came into service in the 80s, well, remember this like it was yesterday. Actually, it was a very late 70s, early 80s because different units got the uniforms. These mark one BDUs though were subcontracted and then subcontracted again. The original guy gave out a bid that simply could not be met using the proper materials. He turned around and subcontracted it to another goof in another country who subcontracted the cloth to another company. When the military got their final product, oh it looked really good out of the box. But the moment that all the soldiers washed their uniforms, they dropped down in about one and a half sizes. And all of a sudden all of the uniforms were a beautiful shade of Lake Blue. You know, different shades like you were looking down in the depths of water with little waves. Why is this? Well, it turns out that the colors weren't set right and the black that was in there bled off as kind of a blue blue shade once it was diluted Into the rest of the uniforms. How many of you guys remember that I saw that firsthand Okay, unfortunately, I still had the green we uniform. So I didn't have to worry about it I didn't had I they were prioritizing how they were issuing them out. So here's all these guys We had have a special formation everybody stand up in uniform and they traded down so that somebody could wear what few uniforms they had that would now fit the next person in size. And then the guy named Tiny ends up in his birthday suit. Yeah, well, actually Tiny was in better shape because the uniforms got smaller, but yeah, Tiny is in the guy that was 6'10". Yeah, I'm sorry, that's right, butter knife. The guy that was 6'10", he was screwed. He was looking he was looking well for uniforms real quick and they did actually fortunately not everybody threw their gear away And so we had this transition period now that was a major major Miss, you know failure, but only with a uniform you can live with with a cloth Maybe maybe not depends on how it turns out and how god it is You'll notice that a lot of this latest Digital has got colors that really don't work in most areas. As far as I'm concerned, they're shoot me uniforms. Now, the troops know this too, and there's a little sub story to that. We've been talking with a lot of guys over there that the bean counters, their logic is to have the shoot me uniforms out there, and that way anybody else who's trying to camouflage themselves, well, you'll be able to figure out who you need to fire at, except that, well, wait a minute, the guys that are camouflaging themselves are doing a good job of not being seen. Whereas our troops can be seen very, very well, and they're taking casualties now certain units are completely disobeying this logic and are acting as soldiers trying to conceal and move themselves there are certain special warfare units that have completely dropped this stupid idea and are getting on with business way it's supposed to be it's supposed to be maintained I will say this Maybe we don't want them to change their attitude right now because depending on who it is they deploy and what they plan on doing inside the US as far as dirty deeds, let's let the bean counters continue to rule. Okay? However, on our side, we do have a bean counting system and the Quartermaster shop is to take care of it. We do have to have military script. There is an application for it and that's part of this thing that if we bring up what Vieira was talking about in that article, We have to have a quartermaster and a script system so that we can give them some form of exchange that is temporary compensation to bridge to the normal currency used by our American people. Because we're not going to be using the wipe your butt currency we have now, that's progressively going to disappear. But we're also not going to take the chip, which means we are going to have a money system in place and we're not going to use theirs. See, that's the mistake. All this garbage is based on the idea that you're going to surrender yourself out of stupidity. And I don't know a whole lot of people that are going to go along with that. So yeah, they're going to try and come out and enforce it with guns. So we're going to have to plug their hind end for them trying to come out and play police state. What is, what does anybody have a problem with there? How hard is this to understand? Did I happen to mention last night that Ron Paul said there's going to be a monetary meeting beginning November 15th and that the big date that Powell, the colon, and Biden was referring to January 27, 23rd, maybe the death of the dollar day. No, no, it would be the fifth, the fifth, the day after the election, forgive me. I believe that Ron Paul was up on Alex Jones for the first hour. It's been taken off YouTube. It's not up there right now. All the other pieces are, but the one with Ron Paul, where he mapped out what was happening and what was going on, and his view on what just transpired with the election, it is critical to watch because, again, remember, the one thing about Ron Paul, he's right there seeing all these people. I think that's been removed. It has been removed as of last night. I checked to see. I was going to reference it today. However, if we search it, we might find it in another location. And I assume that it at least might be on InfoWars. So it would be worth looking at. Now, again, the point here, guys, is that the bad guys think that somehow we're going to be stupefied and that they're the center of the universe and they're not. Once you get to the point where they have no contact with the real world and all these ethereal numbers are so bizarre and so Twilight Zone-ish that they're irrelevant, then eventually instead of doing the weezer thing, oh it's fusil and resist, I'm gonna go somewhere else, waah! Instead it's like, you know what? What the hell are we afraid of here? We got nothing to lose and everything to gain, so let's kick him in the slats, kick him in the teeth, put him on the ground, kick him in the head. See, that's what the militia is for. As long as that check-in balance is in place and everybody says, ooh, what good are your fill-in-the-blanks? Well, obviously the other side's buying a whole hell of a lot of them. Anybody notice that? In fact, they're buying so many goofy things that personally I think you'll be putting them on the wall. They won't be of much use for very long. But we'll be picking them up and dragging them away from the bad guys and nailing them on the wall as souvenirs when this war is done. Okay, we they're buying a lot of them so obviously they still work What they want is for it to be on the cheap so that the board can come in and slaughter with reckless abandon Well, the King's men have always wanted to be able to do that the peasants when they got fed up and couldn't eat anymore usually grabbed the pitchforks their swords and everything else and started shishka bobbing the tax collectors and That's what's gonna happen now, but it's what these characters are these global cops these global tax collectors these parasites are all of the opinion that somehow they're going to get away with murder and mayhem with impunity. That's part of our checks and balances system again. All of us armed is part of that. And yes, you do have a right to make that choice. Who but the person who's being raped or murdered or being assaulted to be chopped in little bits by these brigands? They're the brigands, not us. They're the ones who have gone insane. Who but the victim should have the first right to draw a weapon and to neutralize the threat? And we are all the proposed victim. Now, rather than one person being put out, you know, when being separated, oh, let it happen to him, the difference is that the militia is a common defense of the people at large. Is always, has always been, and as far as we are concerned, will always be the property of we the people, not of the government, not of the central regime. That is the antithesis of what they proposed. And again, just, you know, guys, use some common sense here. At a given point, you get to the point where shouting stop two or three times, shah, stop, or I'll throw another piece of paper at you, stop. Let's put it this way. Let's just take one subject. Is Osama bin Ding Dong an American or a foreign national? Haven't seen any proof, has he? Butter Knife, what have you heard? My best guess is that he's an illegal alien from Kenya, but they're concealing the fact. Okay, Larry, what have you heard? I did owe that. So with that being the case, are these people not in gross violation of the law of our land? Absolutely. Now what do we do? We wait for the bar members who have betrayed us to wait till after the fact when, remember here's the basic issue. This never should have been in the race. It is a qualification that is a requirement to even think about the process of running. By the way Mark, Debbie... is with the independent parties, the individual parties, the Democrats and Republicans. Nobody pays attention to how they're supposed to run and because nobody is following the basic rules nor actually makes the effort, especially at the state levels, they could have great effect but don't because nobody's educated or taught how it's supposed to work. So we again, they've fudged them. They fudge the machine. I hear the music, we're gonna go to break guys. We gotta get into supply, we're gonna do that when we come back. That's what the guys are here for. And I want Nancy to touch on the pumpkins back in three minutes here at Liberty Tree Radio. 93% of that 90 is actually somebody that might be somebody to really keep your eye on in franchise base. So you have a tendency, cause they're really only tendency, but you have, when they're talking about using violence to political agenda, they're talking about the way their guns and their rights do oversight, what influenced by agendas do you believe in protection because... Now those are his words his fat mouth speaking. Okay pay attention to that now the other thing I have is I like talk radio I think it's a lot of fun. I can do it or I can't do it in other words Well, I'll do it. Yeah, it's up by my choice, but it's not a business for any of us in the Patriot movement Okay, and this is something that I've noticed is oh my god. They could cut off talk radio Okay, if talk radio is not doing what we're doing right now. It serves no purpose If you want to talk about, it depends, if we're here to talk about polka dotted pansies and the use of horticulture to develop you know tangerine pansies, that's a wonderful thing. But to say that you're involved in political discourse and then try to let the enemy set the order of the battle, then you're going to lose every time. Okay? One of the key things there that came out of this little One thing that came out of this real quick, and we have a caller You know Larry the whole thing with eventuality wait a minute. Yeah, it's gonna be an unfortunate eventuality when we have to put head in a noose along with Shawn insanity and Rush lint bag and the rest of these traders that have helped push this country along with the treasonous politician's mark and unfortunate eventuality. Hey Tom! Go ahead Tom, jump in there, we got... What do you got? Yeah, I was listening to that Sid freak there and you know he needed to be on a robot filled with die bolt machines and goes way back to his. That guy's a despicable... I can't even say what I really feel. You know that guy is so disgusting that you just want to reach through there and smack him right in the head. Well, but he's there for a purpose. Right, you got... To keep you in the dark. Remember, he's one of those characters that was around the Waco. I guarantee he was from the Waco Oklahoma City period. He's gone out of that business and into the ADL's business. He's with a front company that they've got going around mixing the mud up, stirring with a stick to create problems in all directions and convincing everybody they need to surrender their liberty and we need a bigger police state. That's all that he's there for now. Trying to keep... Well, you know what was kind of sickening is that the FBI, It serves a little group of people. Well, the FBI did provide, I'm sure, the feed of the women and children at Waco being murdered and burned to death while the Batfaggots bowed in front of the flames as the ball worshippers that they were. I'm sure that the FBI HRT provided fantastic satellite uplink and distribution so that they could sit there in Washington, you know, suck on some coffee and yuck it up as they watched the sacrifice and the murder of those men, women, and children take place. Yeah, yeah, they're for the people, all right. Let's bear in mind that unlike the folks at Waco, all of these guys are entitled to their fair trial and I'll look forward to watching. Oh yes, absolutely. In fact, that's the only thing. I would love to be on the jury for some of them trials because I'll tell you, you know, justice is going to be done because we can't, we're at the end right now. We're not going to take no more, there's not going to be no more Scott Wilgries, no more Waco, nothing. Well, that's just good. I swear this before the Lord. Mark, we can't let it happen. No. And you're not going to go behind the bars again. We're not going to let that happen. No, we can't. Well, the bottom line is whatever they plan on doing now, they're planning on murdering us, all of us, everybody. And not just because you're in the Patriot movement. That is the one thing I cannot stress enough. That diversion that you've been trying to ignore is the main attack you've been expecting. This is not a diversion. I think that's the biggest problem is that this everybody got well we didn't but for me It's like okay. I just means I got a double my efforts again, which I've been doing But a lot of people are walking around in a daze right now It hasn't really hit them completely and it is now and their feet are become lead I'm talking about the ones who talk themselves the idea that nothing was going on a bunch of well, you know Go ahead. Well, that one girl that I've told you about, she's supposed to be an upper bar gun and I've got a couple more people that I'm working on. They're coming. Excellent. You know, I'm giving your live three sick things that you've given me and stuff. Again, if anybody's listening, go to YouTube and, you know, in their search box and stand there in South Carolina. One person says about a million coffins. We're talking acres and acres and acres of these plastic type storage tubs. They're going to be cutting this bird flu crap loose or something similar and they're gearing up to kill a whole bunch of us. This is not a joke. No, it's not a joke. They're using the live bird flu in it. But I'll let you guys go. I just wanted to let you know that that Sid guy, he should be someplace. I'll let you go. Thank you, John. Uh oh, I hear the color. And Butterknife, you've got some things we need to get out, so everybody grab your pen and paper. Butterknife, take it away, please. Yeah, first a little bit of routine business. I would like to point everybody to theintelligencereport.tk as our main archives, courtesy of Spike. You can get past programs there, download them, play them back. I would call everybody's attention to a few of our recent programs. On September 26 we talked about oxygen absorbers and how you can make them and how you want to use them. That's particularly relevant to storage of certain foods like especially brown rice. On October 3, pull that one, this is the fourth hour also, we discussed all these food stores which is an excellent resource for us. On October 17 and 24 we discussed the beginnings of the butternife food program if we want to describe that. We were discussing the balance of certain foods and what we can store and what is cost effective to store and looking at the summaries of proteins, carbs and fats in certain things that we can store up. On the 31st we discussed a food wholesaler in the St. Louis area. I'll simply point you at that and play it back. We're running short on time this evening. The first thing I'd like to do is to wrap up that food program. We got through three of the four items that I wanted to talk about originally. We keep running out of time. It's just one of those things. So to very, very briefly review, using a spreadsheet here, I have put together a basic core food program. And the major items start out with a thousand pounds of rice and 500 pounds of beans. We supplemented that with 300 pounds of peanuts in order to get some of the fats from the peanuts. Peanut oil is not the best oil in the world, but it's not the worst oil in the world. We are still deficient in fats on our prototype program here, but we've got three products, all of which are plus or minus about a dollar a pound. This meets our budgetary requirements. There are people who would agitate in favor of white rice instead of brown. Let them do it. That's fine. I choose to go in both directions simultaneously. with a 2,000 calorie per day budget. That's a very low allocation. That's basically a middle aged woman would be well fed at 2,000 calories a day. Active adult males especially in the field, especially in a cold would need 3,000 or more. But even at 2,000, the summary on this program so far comes in at about 53 man-months of protein, 63 man-months of carb, and 42 man-months of fats. This is not awful, but it's deficient in fats. So there's one last item that I would add to this plan. Consider that you are roughly at 60 man months, that's 240 man weeks or so. Let's say that we allocate to each person on this program one can of corned beef a week. Not much of a ration, but figure, well, you're not going to save it up to Sunday and snarf it all down. Think of seven people each tossing their can into the soup pot once a day. 240, these cans are about 12 ounces. So let's say that's 200 pounds of canned corned beef. This is not a terribly expensive item. It's more expensive than the grains, of course. But that comes in at 57 pounds total of proteins. 29 pounds of fats, let's take a look at what that does to the results. The end result of this when we add the 200 pounds of corned beef is that we end up at 64 man months of protein, 63 man months of carbs, and about 49 man months of fat. We are darn close to balanced. We'll need to add some fats, and we can do that in a lot of different ways. One of the things that I would suggest to people is that on Cordy's site and many other sites on the internet, there is a procedure for canning, home canning butter. And believe it or not, I've performed some rather horrifying experiments with canning and produced some things that look like they belong in a level four containment facility. But butter is my first success. The procedures on there are very straightforward. You do not do a traditional can, but rather you basically wash all those jars, run them through the dishwasher. Cook them in the oven a bit, about 250 for a while. What's going on is they're sterilizing the jars. Then what you do is you melt the butter. Melt that in a saucepan. Basically get it to foam. Pour that all in the jar. Go ahead and seal it. That's where you stop. You don't actually do a lot of pressure canning. You may do a water bath canning if you want for extra assurance. But you seal it up and at that point let it start cooling and just before it stops before it congeals Get busy shaking that because you will find that the salt if it's salted butter the solids in it have separated and you're at risk of canning liquid clarified butter, but if you shake it up like crazy just at the solidifying point It will turn nice golden yellow and congeal and surprise, surprise, it's actually decent butter. It will keep on the shelf for quite a while. I modified the procedure a little bit when I did mine the second time and that is that I used a small pot. and I threw in three or four sticks each time. Using pint jars they will hold just a little bit less than four sticks each. and made sure that I did not fill up the pot very much. That way I could pour the entirety of the pot in there and I did not get the percentage of milk solids and salt and so on out of skew. If I'm emptying the little milk pot each time then I don't have to be too crazy about stirring it like mad and trying to get things mixed up properly. So that's just a small tweak in the procedure, but if you put in four sticks and swirl it around and pour a jar and then put in three sticks and put in four sticks and put in three sticks and so on each time, then you keep emptying the jar, you don't end up with a skewed mixture. So you just press your cook disc, you just put them in the jars and then let the heat pull the lids down. Well, what you're doing by melting it is, believe it or not, there's 5 or 6% water content in sticks of butter. And when you melt it up and heat it to the point where it's churning and foaming a little bit, you're driving off that water. You're also heating it up to the point that you're pretty much killing anything in there. Now, once you've sealed it, you're If you want to water bath it some more just for good measure go ahead and do so. The procedure that's published on Cordy's site does not require it. I think it's probably a belt and suspenders thing but if you feel like doing that go ahead and do it. What's Cordy's site? Cordy's site I don't have immediately at hand but everybody in the chat room knows that. It's off the gridgirls.com I believe. The actual URL is a bit longer than that. Just google for off the grid girls and you'll get it. There's lots and lots of other good stuff on Cori's site as well, but this is the one that I'm calling people out on. Better at all these is $2 a pound guys. Did you say that your program on making your own oxygen absorbers, that's archived? That one is archived on the regular archive source, that is theintelligencereport.tk. And also, Chakra71 is one of our friends, is maintaining some torrents on BitTorrent. So if people prefer BitTorrent instead of web downloads, that's available as well. Torrance, as usual, tend to taper off as they get older, as fewer people are seeding them. But he produces some terrifically edited down and equalized files. So if you can get a file from one of his Torrance, those are terrific quality files. Some of our programs, we have some difficulty equalizing the audio levels. When he's processed those through, they are much more clearer than the live broadcasts. So I would look there also as a second source for archived programs. So we finally finished Butter Knife's core storage program. It's got four ingredients so far. It's got rice. We can bicker back and forth over white versus brown. It's got beans. Remember, the key ratio is two to one, twice as much rice as beans. We added some peanuts for the fat content and some protein. And we just added some canned meat. Now, the numbers for corned beef are not all that much different from Spam. So if you like that, switch over. They're about the same cost. They're about the same size can. Mix them up for some variety. That's far from a totally balanced diet, but it's a start. It's a core. We're building the trunk of the tree here, and we'll add branches and leaves later on. I would also suggest that people go ahead and try this butter canning procedure. You'd be surprised how long it takes to do a dozen pints of the stuff. On the other hand, practice makes perfect and if you grab hold of the kitchen when you have the opportunity and are not going to get into too much trouble doing it. You can strike when the iron is hot and get some of those packed away. Within about 3-quarters of an inch of the lid, it's not critical, just don't go all the way up to the top and make very, very sure you get all of that grease off the edge so it seals properly. But it's an easy canning process as they go. And guys, one thing to remember, butter is one of those staples that again, you can do so much with once you've got it in the storage system. including if you need to you can trade it for probably anything you want. That's right. Flavor change is critical. Offthegridgirls.com. Offthegridgirls.com. Offthegridgirls.com. Guys, we're at the top of the hour and by the way, Courtney's coming up next right behind us.
