Well, you know, there was Osamah there, up Katie Couric this evening, and you know, basically that was little Obama infomercial for a while about how much good he's going to do the nation. But you know, if you wind back into the weekend, you guys face the nation this week in Washington and whatnot. Some of the talk, not all of the talk, but some of the talk was how much did the media influence this election, Mark? And you know, they seemed to make about 10 or 12 minutes out of this, yapping their jaws and flapping on and on about, well, you know, it was sexist because they talked Hillary and pantsuit. And it was, oh, there were other, they joked. But you know, you just can't find anything to be funny about Osama Obama there, even unto today, that group of clucking hens known as the View had the same thoughts. I'm told, just can't find anything to make fun about around Obama or about Obama. But you know what? It was all fluff and it was all really, really watered down the icing on the cake, so to speak. Because when they talked, Mark, about how the media influenced the vision cycle, They didn't mention anything about how the media, to the best of its ability, ignored Ron Paul. How the media, to the best of its ability, all of the buffoons Ron Paul, but wouldn't allow any, you know, counters. How the media didn't talk about the money that Ron Paul generated, but for Little Blip calling them, oh, this is an aberration, and he hangs out with that internet crowd. See how that went? But they didn't talk at all about things I've just mentioned. Had the media treated Ron Paul fairly, I think he would have been the candidate we'd be voting for tomorrow. Well, again, as we know, it ain't going to be a whole lot of choice. However, remember, we do have local elections. Hey, if you don't have Diebold machines, you might actually get somewhat of an honest count. We'll see what happens there. Otherwise, though, again, pay attention. Let's see how many places tomorrow break down. Now they may try to do damage control on this but we have too many people who are going in to vote for Chuck Baldwin and a lot of people that will be Keeping track when they go in to vote and they're gonna go hey, this is kind of strange here. Well, the Dow Jones Industrial is right now back to where it was on October the 14th. Isn't that amazing? However, gold and silver Well, gold is down $106 from where it was on the 14th of October and silver is off a dollar and a half. That's strange. With everything else going bad, why do they keep driving the prices of gold and silver down? And today's market, well, if everything is supposed to be hunky dory on the stock market, Then why did Circuit City, the second largest electronics store in the country, announce today that it's closing? 156 of its stores, that's 20% of its stock, will be discontinued by Christmas. How many people? We're looking at 3,000 to 5,000 jobs, right there, gone. What are those people now supposed to go do? Flip hamburgers for McDonald's and Burger King? I get the feeling there's going to be lots of people waiting in line to flip hamburgers, but there just won't be any jobs available. And there's more and more like that. I see it continuing across the board of job cuts or closing of businesses. Kodak here in Rochester has announced it's going to lay off more employees, something like 3,000 more before the end of the year. Plus, Kodak has also cut the people's pension. away their pension plan and told them they're not going to pay their retirement pensions now. Wow, can't afford it, huh? GAFS has gone down to $299 locally and in Rochester downtown it's $259 right now is where the drop was today. But I've been told in other places It's down to around $2.20 a gallon. Hmm well most of the states have done away with going in and being in any lines that way there'll be no pictures of anybody in any lines to worry about because After all you need to call or you get in on computer and of course there they put you in computer Hades forever You're kind of like the ultimate hold there in addition to that of course little comment everybody's been pushing back and forth. And you just brought it up about Glenn Beck saying that no matter what, win or lose, there's going to be riots in Detroit on Wednesday. Well, I'd like to, if they do, okay, most people wouldn't notice, okay, first of all, a good chunk of Detroit guys is like there's two houses and then the rest of the other 35 to 50 lots that are on that street, on that neighborhood block are empty. Yep, or burned. Yeah, it's already burned out and they're already rubble pushed into holes. I mean, there's two, three, there are pieces of real estate in Detroit, which you're not seeing nationally at all. that are downtown that look just like they did in the year 1810. The reason I can go back that far is because it's that long ago that they were open fields instead of being neighborhoods. They were farm fields. Well, these are like farm blocks now. You got two houses and the rest of the real estate is, you know, 20 foot high ragweed plants, small scrubbing brush trees and dead or dying grass. We even have coyotes in Detroit just like they were monitoring in Chicago now passing through the Chicago area. What was interesting is Beck's remark this morning was if Obama loses tomorrow then they're going to riot in the streets of Detroit. And if he wins they're still going to have a victory riot on Wednesday. Except, like I said, it would be the glow from a distance unless they come out of Detroit and go somewhere else. What few people there are, and most of them, okay the biggest problem you've got is not everybody. The crack population doesn't have the money to go one block away let alone you know riot down the road, okay? Big screen TV mark we have a weight They sold the big screen TV and they stole it from the house three doors down But they sold it to the pawn shop five how five doors in the other direction because they couldn't carry it very far But the issue is why would Beck pick Detroit out of all the cities in the country? Why would he pick that one as fingernails? That one for sure, just like, oh, coal in there. We're going to have a meltdown on the 21st of January. Why is Beck picking Detroit as the place for riots on Wednesday? Well, you've got to figure, Dave, where's the Detroit mayor? Yeah, Capatric, he's in jail right now. Our good friend, the black Irish mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick, a fine Irish lad if there ever was one. Yes, fine black Irishman. Well, unfortunately, he's now in the paddy wagon and off to the Huskau because unfortunately, that's where they put him, those buggers. I don't know. You know what's interesting? His mother is a congressman there and so is in john uh... o'connor's congressman there from detroit yes and what's interesting is congressman uh... connor's wife she just became the assistant mayor of detroit or deputy mayor which means that presently she is the acting mayor We're going to keep it all in that fine Irish family, don't you know? Yeah, the O'Connor's and the Cup hat fricks. That's right. Bloody hell, what the heck's going on here? All of these black Irishmen we never knew about. Well, you know, they probably, they probably traced their fine lineage back to the Spanish Armada when all of those survivors of all of those wrecks washed up on the Irish shores and the rest is history. That's where the term black Irish comes from, by the way. So bloody hell, they must be one of that bunch we missed. I don't know. But I will say this, is that again, part of what the reason he's doing it is the database that they have out there with the people that are isolated, okay on the bad guy side, because they won't go out amongst the peasants anyway, they're too busy in their little, in their jets and standing behind triple locked doors and guard towers and security at all the entrances to whatever places they piddle around in. It's interesting that the logic is when you say Detroit that's what people think well, you know like we Devils night You're gonna have burning down Detroit which you'll notice didn't get any coverage really this year Because again if you keep burning after all these years eventually, there's nothing yeah, there's nothing left to burn guys They're gonna have to go out blocks or miles to find something to riot on they've rioted already even out of season They've had a lot of out of season rioting to the point where there's nothing left and they could go downtown but I will say again there's a lot of people that have, shall we say, enough hired hands that they won't let anybody mess with anything that's worth anything. Although again, how can it be worth much of anything when everything around it is barren wasteland? It wouldn't exactly be my first best place to choose for anybody to live, but hopefully the feds are down there, they deserve it, they've created the problem and they are hoping to puff it up, but there's nobody that wants to go back there. So if they travel out it's going to be rather interesting. Now I will say something, most people don't know about this, but back in the World War II period everybody hears about the Detroit riots which remember started the Belle Isle Bridge. What people don't know is that from those riots they actually went out all the main two roads, there were no super highways back then, but all the major highways, the major arteries especially in the rural areas, The rioters came out as waves of attackers and started going farm to farm burning them. Now if you look on the map you will find a place called Belleville, Michigan. Belleville, Michigan is located west of Detroit. You can find it off the I-94 corridor. Okay, out by Metro, just a little east of Metro Airport. Okay, there's how you can find it on the map. The riots went all the way, actually the rioters slash pillagers from Detroit in waves went right out the secondary roads in a planned a series of attacks and were stopped in what became the battle for Belleville. Now most people don't know this but it was the militia that stopped the rioters dead in their tracks in a firefight that was the last of the firefights of this action that took place at the where the Belleville Park downtown is today and This action there are people who when I was growing up could walk you right over to trees that still had the bullet holes in them From the exchanges at that park, which was the farthest point that these pillagers came out to. But here's the thing, guys, on their way into Belleville, they burned farms and houses and barns every step of the way, rioting out of Detroit. This is a part of history they don't like to talk about because they make it sound like, oh, let's understand and this and that and the other, really. Well, we understand completely what was going on. They got their way they plugged everything in and this is part of the history where this whole thing about bringing stuff up but only in a foggy memory way and That is something that has happened in the past and it wasn't until everybody got together fell back towards Belleville armed themselves really well and Then got into a knockdown drag him out kick him in the teeth kind of battle I mean this was not a little old somebody fired a shotgun here somebody fired a shotgun there and This was a combat exchange and for anybody who knows local history the actions leading up to it were just as wicked and evil. Now most everybody warned everybody else and got them out of their houses as the wave of attack spread out of Detroit. It would be interesting to see if they're trying to perpetrate something like that again. I personally, if they do, I think it would peter out very quickly simply because a lot of people aren't going to put up with it and you can't count on the military or anybody else to show up when the time comes. It's going to be the regular people doing it and they wouldn't hesitate. There isn't going to be any of this conversation nonsense. That's right. Yeah, the criminals on the other side. They aren't exactly combat troops. They're greatest thugs. But when it comes down to actually having to fight people who are willing to put a hole in them, well... Do you mean people who can take aim? That's right, aim. Yeah, they can be none of the homie shoot nonsense. Okay? However, this was an interesting, this is a bit of history. Again, from Detroit, look where the Belle Isle Bridge, out by the Detroit River, where that is. Understand that when you read all this fuzziness that they create, oh the riots started there and just kind of spread out. Well this thing developed into a major action that spread across the whole of Wayne County. So it did happen in the past. Now the problem is the epicenter that we're talking about now Well, everybody got what they wanted. They wanted, you know, shall we say, a specific group to rule. They did. They got total control. They did. They didn't milk the cow. They slaughtered the cow. That's what they did. They didn't know. They forgot the basic rule of farming. Or if you're even a patty criminal like a lot of these characters have been in most cities, you don't kill the cow and eat steak. You milk the cow and you also breed the cow and that way you have more little cows and you eat the little cows and keep the, you know, you eat the stairs and keep the cows alive. These goofs didn't know any better. They've killed the cow. And that's where we are today. And we're to the point now where, well of course, Mark Coleman Young was attacked many times but guys, he never went to prison, he never went to jail or prison, you know. No, he didn't. Well, I'll tell you what, we had an interesting variation on this. Any other time, anybody else, OK, in the past, Michigan State and U of M, go head to head. This is an ongoing rivalry. Like everybody hears about the Ohio-Michigan rivalry between the U of M and University of Ohio. Ohio State, I'm sorry. Anyway, Michigan State, U of M. Last weekend. What was the last weekend? A week and a half. That tells you how much I'm paying attention to the goofy football. But anyway, then of course U of M lost at home. Riots that night. Absolutely had to. Now the thing is in the past none of this goofiness would have happened. So what has changed? What is the population formula that has changed? That's the problem. And what influence is there that has changed? That's the problem. Period. So that's what they're counting on. They're hoping that they can use this as part of their prediction process. I think they're a little sloped on us, like I said, as far as behind the... the times on the whole issue with Detroit itself. It's to the point where the general poverty and crime issue are the center of the universe, which means they don't have anywhere to go. I mean, they might be able to wear with all you with enough wear with all, grab some hunyocks and do some screaming and hollering down the road, but nobody's going to care about whatever they destroy. You're right. What are they set fire? Yeah, exactly. It's like well that's contained. Just leave it there. It'll burn out. Don't worry about it. Oh, they got three dumpsters burning. Oh, well done. I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen in Flint. I would be more likely, I'll tell you what guys, it is interesting because people, what they'll do is they'll kind of relate that it's all in the ballpark. Flint or Bay, the Saginaw Bay City area. And Flint has got a larger black population I think now than say Detroit does in that it's a more, it has more left than say Detroit does. And then you still have the Bay City Saginaw area which is farther up towards where the little, you know, the thumb and the index finger come together. It's the bay right there. Well over completely the other side of the state, the bottom of the heel of your map of Michigan. West side of the state there's I think it's Benton harp and this is just a little town you guys all the way over there You know the other side of the border from Chicago and whatnot state police about three years ago had to be called in their mark for the riots that were going on there and I think as close as that got to being mentioned nationally was When we talked about it on this hour in fact that would be more. There's another area right there, Michigan City It's not in Michigan Michigan City area, that area all the way up to Grand Rapids, yes, I would expect that possibly more likely to be riding there because they have more resources so that they would be a little wealthier and can move around to riot if they're going to. Detroit will be interesting, if they do it can purely, it can only, it'll burn out, pardon the pun, very quickly. and would not be all that exciting to look at nor even to take notice of. But the other locations, the Michigan City area influenced heavily by the Chicago influx and also from the Grand Rapids area would be very likely. I put a higher probability rating on that than I would on Detroit. So just things to watch for there. But the fact that he brought it up at all, that this had been brought up by somebody on a controlled press, should tell us something. Has there been some money spent? Oh, there might have been. But whatever it is they're going to be taking down, it'll be kind of like the old, shall we say, Hebrew lightning scenario, in that whatever it is, the good stuff's been moved out, the junk's been moved in, and the insurance has already been covered for the three days beforehand, and lo and behold, all of a sudden, oh, it must have been rioters, I'm telling you. Maybe it's Bush's revenge for for doing impeachment proceedings. I'll come back and burn your home so it would get even for you trying to impeach me. In any case, there was something else I wanted to get and then I'm going to get out of here. Over the past week, I've seen a lot of pushing in various programs as Obama being the winner. The most intriguing I think I've seen was today. I was watching the general housekeeping A man won the bake-off today. He's going to become the next TV celebrity cook, singing cook. He's going to sing and bake at the same time and into your kitchens. He's sort of a good looking feller. So that's going to be an interesting thing. And they had him do a couple of bake-offs today to show the audience. But then they also did a wardrobe. in beauty contest and they were using mock-up cardboard figures of the presidential and vice presidential candidates and after they showed various dress-ups and costumes explaining why they were wearing red or light blue and yellow uh... for each of the candidates what they were trying to portray in their image by wearing these different colors ties dresses blouses jackets whatever They then put all the mock-ups together and they had a crown and a ribbon that said across it, The Winner, and it was hanging on Obama. She looked around and said, maybe tomorrow we may have to take it from Obama and give it to John, but we'll see. Sort of in your face, wouldn't you think? The Winner. But that's been going on TV for over a week continually, one program after another, labeling Obama as the winner. What was he, was, did they have Osama dressed up in lots of pomegranate and pews? Was he wearing? No, he was dressed in his normal suit. Nogahide pants with vest, perhaps, in the Matoman image, you know, shall we say, in the famous Castro Street boudoir. What was the day? I'm sorry, Castro Street bath now. The writing's for Wednesday. Right, we have to wait until they're sure that they can ride, I guess, and then hit the switch. Yeah, and New York State does not close their polls until 9 o'clock, so it's going to be 10, 11 o'clock before they'll have the New York State results. Well, I'll tell you what we need here and again I'd ask everybody to keep us posted because it'll be interesting to see if any glitches I tell you I'm gonna tell you again break out the old VHS machines if you don't have one you need it It's a hell of a lot easier for most people to operate more reliable when it comes to taping or you know recording activities easier for you to use and You're not out anything if anything goes bad with it people so you can afford to have it tuned in to where you want it to be and and not worry about, oh my goodness, I got to switch over to something else. See, that's why we don't throw away older technology. The VHS machine can be sitting there for that purpose and then you can still commit your DVD or whatever else you got to whatever else you want to do.
