They have taken our advice and they are setting up medical emergency, what we call flash bags, or they're also called bleeder bags. In other words, they're stuffed full of things that you're going to need to deal with direct wound casualties. Blowout bags is another term. We shipped a number of these East German utility gas mask bags. They've packed them up. The 17th is going to be getting together with, I believe, also elements of the West Virginia and Virginia militia. They're going to share this project. We'll see what happens. Hopefully we'll have somebody coming up maybe Monday or Tuesday to talk about how the weekend went. But this is a priority project. It's in high gear. It's not a scheduled exercise, but for a warning order for the 17th Regimental Combat Team Colonial Marines, get hold of your training officer or your specific NCO or or unit officer depending what platoon or company you were with and contact them immediately. This was not a scheduled exercise. They're requesting that we put this out on the air so that everybody knows what's going on. Now again, full combat load. This includes combat armaments. Okay, for this exercise for these guys that are meeting. And again from this point forward when you meet you train as you will fight for you will fight as you have trained. Okay, so the 17th now also I will state militia the Northern District I understand that they have a special meeting this weekend This is going to also be to do liaison work with the colonial Marines out there I will find out more about that next week again Also, we do not have time to deal with us over the weekend and guess what? It's their job. So Iowa you'll be meeting with the individuals who are organizing this new divisional strength Colonial Marine Unit based upon all the resources that are there. So with all the people that have sent how do I organize or how do I train or whatever, and this is also true a lot of you who are waiting from outside in other states, You're going to get hit with a whole bunch of technical information. Now some of you already got the first wave. It is out there in mass. We sent out about 368, 370, right around 370 something, sorry, specific CD packets. Some of them were single CDs, others were multiples with regard to tactical support and building up operational production in your area. And this is a priority. If you have books right now that have to do with ordnance, have to do with weapons, equipment, I would ask that you scan them. In fact, again, a lot of people are saying, well, I'm not combat infantry and I'm 68 years old, but I do a lot of other work. Okay, here's what you can do. Chances are you got a library. It has technical information. We need it. Not only do we need it, I mean, everybody needs it. So here's one of the things you can do to help support the Patriot and Militia movement. Scan the text that are the technical text with information on breakdown of arms, manufacturing of arms, fabrication of components, etc. weapons maintenance, weapons improvising, okay, where you have pieces of equipment that are damaged. A lot of armorers books tell you how to make it work and fidget, you know, make it work with something else. I'll tell you what we're going to do right now real quick here for one of our other friends way out there in the sandbox. We want to say hi to Drak and Company. Typically, it's going to be close to your body, it's going to be in a covered holster, it's going to be protected in some way, but guess what? That salt and the oils that you exude when you sweat are going to permeate everything that's near you progressively. When that happens, guess what? It's going to get on your weapons. If you've got blued steel, it's going to create oxidation. Well, the Gibbs prevents that from happening. But the reason I brought up the blute is because priority is, you know, the reason there are so many nickeled revolvers out there is because typically they were cop guns and they were carried and exactly what I'm talking about happened they got pitted or they were damaged here and there the gunsmith did a great job of cleaning everything back up and what he did when he was done is he said hey Frank you know you're gonna carry it like that why don't you just have the thing nickel it'll look better no one will know what happened and it won't do that again So you have a lot of revolvers that are out there that are nickeled and still the same thing underneath and all the where parts are all steel regular old steel So yes, we want to hit all of our weapons no matter what they are no matter what metal It just helps in general anyway overall maintenance is easier You don't have to worry about adhesion with parts You don't have to worry about again what little oxidation can take place building up in the wrong places at the right time Doesn't have to be everywhere It just has to be in the worst blasted place like where the crane is, cylinder track, it can be right there in the cylinder shaft for the ejector. All of those are places where moisture builds up, you get little bridges of rust, you know, of oxidation, and then they firm up and they start to crystallize and expand. And you got yourself an unserviceable weapon you didn't know about until you pulled it from the holster. Yup. Hey Mark, also powder resident. Yup. Can I give a testimonial about the Gibbs? Go right ahead, please. Active Duty, we used Warsaw Pact weapons and the reason I was telling everybody in the past about giving you a flare gun, and since they were inexpensive, 26.5 millimeter, took mine out, because you get flares, you test them to make sure you get a lot in, you test them to make sure they're going to work, right? And I cleaned the weapon, did it before Gibbs, and I used some CLEP, Did that weapon up took it apart cleaned it up or you name it did it Hoppy's number nine the other day when I was going through all my weapons and do annual maintenance I did not get all the solvents the solvents didn't get all the corrosive stuff on those the powder from those players Yeah, and I couldn't believe how bad that off and it cleaned it right up Excellent, and I mean I had ram oil, you know clip going through they're running the brush through below block It would not always it would it the patches. I ran the Gibbs and Gibbs kept running the brush scoots and now the patches come out clean. Excellent. Now that's a good point. We have a lot of weapons that are going to be using corrosive ammo. We're just going to have to use it guys. In fact it's more reliable in terms of storage and also primer activation. What we can do, exactly what you're talking about, is pretreat with gibs before it's used. That's a critical phase right there. Another little trick I'm going to add to that when we come back. Let's get back for final thoughts with the Don Luskin chief investment officer at trends macrolytics live out of Palo Alto, California and Graham Maxson is staying with us from the Insight Bureau here in Singapore. Don, let me get to you first of all. We've been debating the pros and cons of the overnight moves, the global central bank cuts around the world. Let's talk about what one does with one's cash, what cash one has left. You know, I was reading an interesting article that in France, apparently sales of safes are booming. People are sticking their money in safes at the moment for one of a better place to put them. What would you be doing? Oh boy, I think I'd buy a safe big enough to contain my entire body. I think I'd go in that safe and I'd pull in the door after me. Going hard late for a hundred years, I hope it gets better when you come and wake up again. Exactly, exactly. There are some things I know and there are some things I don't know, but I think one thing I really know about the way this is going to turn out is it's going to be inflationary. All the world's central banks are going to have to print their way out of this problem. They're going to have to print money, drop it from helicopters, drop it from cargo planes, whatever it takes. So that tells me that stores of value, long-term bedrock stores of value, like gold. are going to be the best performing assets over the next couple of years. I think the dollar price of gold is going to go to 2,000 an ounce within the next six months. I think that when you look at the spread between nominal US Treasuries and inflation protected US Treasuries, the five-year spread is about 50 basis points. Does anyone really think that the US inflation rate over the next five years is only going to be half a percent on average? Give me a break. Bet on inflation. Bet on inflation. Bet on inflation. It's the only way to protect yourself. Bet on gold. Graham, what do you think about that? 2000 or 20 hours over the next six months. What I'm really actually quite puzzled about is why we've got the volatility index, the VIX at a record high and so many other extremes going on in the market. And yet gold, okay, so it's back above 900, but it's not back at its record high. No, it's not. And if you've written many other currencies, it's not really moved at all in the last 10 years. I have to say, I don't agree with the inflation. I can see where Don's talking about printing money and they will have to print money, but on the other side you're going to see a massive drop in asset prices. house prices in the US, in the UK, in much of Europe, falling 30-40% in many cases. You're going to see businesses selling off assets, selling off businesses to try and create some sort of liquidity. So I think you're going to see on one side printing money, which is going to be inflationary, but on the other side, the real world, you're going to see people selling off everything they can to raise cash. And so we're going to see this very different balance. To me, the best thing to be in at this stage until I see anything different is cash. cash. The state in cash. Yeah, cash where? And then the question is which currency? Yeah, I was going to say where. Which currency? You know, right now if you look at, you know, the US dollar has been strengthening. I don't really understand why that's the case. To me, the fundamentals in the US are not strong. You can hear the printing machine going jig-a-glue. Exactly, exactly. From day and night at the moment. Surely that chicken's got to come home and roast on the US dollar. Absolutely. And right, I mean, with Fanny and Freddie, they double the national debt in the US. That is not a healthy economy. Australian dollars going down, that to me doesn't make much sense either. Yen's going up. I mean the very weak economy still... Case to buy the Aussie dollar now? Is it rock bottom prices or it's got fluid? Stay in the currency in which you need to spend. That's the only rule I can make up at this point. OK, parting shot from you, Don. Primal thoughts? Well, you know, the problem with the strategy of staying in cash is you can run, but you can't hide inflation comes and gets you. It finds you. It's like the leak in your boat and the water will always find the leak. So if you go to cash, you're vulnerable to inflation. The one thing that's going to save you here is gold. That's the one thing you can count on. Okay, glittering for you, Don. Thank you very much for that. Don Luskin joining us there from Trend Macralytics in California. Always good to talk to you. It's an invader. Anyway, real quick on these flare guns, main military by the way, the very ones that Marcus are talking about, a variation, but there are several companies that have them. Main military has them right now, and I think they've got a pretty good quantity price too. I think it's like either four, I think it's four or five for a hundred dollars. If you buy a quantity of them, there's a better price. and I've seen them. They're in excellent condition. There's nothing wrong with them. They come with holsters. There's all kinds of other goodies you can pick up for them. Flares are available in a number of different places. Employment of the flare under our conditions. Well, let's say that you want to equalize things on the other side or against the other side. One of the things to remember is from a properly, you know, with a properly placed individual designated with the mission, he fires once over and behind the objective. Now what this does is it backlights and silhouettes. which allows for even if you didn't have night vision for every man in the unit it makes no difference. If you have designated grenadiers who move constantly, they can't sit in one place and just keep launching, you'd keep doing that. Somebody's going to visit you with a 40 millimeter as quick as the first one goes out. They're looking for you anyway. You know, poo, you've launched yours, all of a sudden you're going to hear poo, and they launch theirs. So what you want to do is designate a light foot infantryman with the task of working as an illumination grenadier. Now he can still participate in the battlefield any other way that he wants it, depending on opportunity, but using the flares to fire up and behind. and then illuminating or backlighting the target is one of the many ways that you can disrupt and neutralize what little advantage they think they have with regard to night vision technology. Not to mention the fact that we do have night vision of course and we know light and illumination can be used in many different ways to disrupt or to advance your situation. You can also use flares to the front of an enemy's position for the very reason we mentioned by dumping multiples into the target area. Think about that one of the things everybody thinks whoa just a flare well it's like it was talked about the other day Let's say I have a and I again this off on a tangent, but it's not Every one of your m16 a ones a twos all your ar-15s are grenadiers rifles the standard flash hider on the ar-15 on the m16 the day we rifle the HK 91 the HK 93 are all designed to accept a rifle grenade Which means you have 120 one-shot grenadiers? You know that words boo boo boo everybody would launch at once I mean that's a hellacious barrage guys think about it Little trick special forces didn't talk about much during Vietnam Everybody carried two laws and of course for grenades plus their combat load as far as many of these like Montagnard or special warfare units that were made up of indigenous Well, what you do is everybody launches a rocket in the initial attack every think about the effect of that if you have 600 men and everybody's carrying a laws rocket If you realize what kind of a response, what kind of a situation that is in front of you, if you dump that in before you charge into a target, I mean, it's just, it's devastating. They don't want to think about that, but it's something that would work quite effectively. Now, if you're prepared for it, that's one thing. The idea is it creates disruption. At least for the first two magazines and the first two grenades and your first rocket, you're king of the battlefield. Now, don't stick around because chances are whoever you're up against is throwing other stuff at you. But, used appropriately, this technique works with all of the specialized weapons that we have. The flare guns combined with 50 calibers combined with spigot launched systems give us a unique dimension that otherwise people perceived we didn't have. Okay? Just giving you ideas and let's not forget Mr. Flamethrower. We've got to get a lot closer, but still Mr. Flamethrower is our friend. Okay? Marcus, you had a couple of things you wanted to touch on. Well, one thing also about the flares, fire is your friend if you don't have a flamethrower. That's right. Shoot into a brush power. think about it. You wouldn't want to see one bouncing across the ground and falling in your hole. Exactly. Hey, what's that? In fact, that would be if you're using it properly, even if you're going to put flares in the air, how did you figure out where to put them? How did you figure out what's in front of you unless the engagement's been going on for well, well before sundown or three or four days now? Well, if that's true, then you're kind of in trouble. This will put more connective tissue out there so more people understand that we have solutions. You have outlived a whole bunch of these characters that boasted to each other, swap and spit in back rooms and smoke-filled rooms and in places with all kinds of pooftas, run around bare butt naked, groping each other out in the woods like a bohemian grove, telling each other that they are the lords on the planet when if you watch the video of what they were doing you go, oh my lord, what are they doing on this planet? Okay? And it's interesting that we've outlived a whole big chunk of them. Doesn't mean they aren't trying to kill us. Doesn't mean they don't plan on killing us. They would like to exterminate, they say, 80% of the population. In our argument, them first. Congratulations. You know, they just set the parameters, but we're not going to do, and we're not going to hurt 80% of the population. We know as Americans, especially those who are older, that we can do better and that we can do it as Americans. We do not need to surrender our sovereignty. So we need to first fight for our liberty And then when we're done, we're going to show them how to do it right. And we're not going to let them drag us down. I don't care how bad it gets. I am sorry people. It can get a whole hell of a lot worse. Right now, we're on the up end of the wave. We have not seen bad yet.
