Live 365. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republic in each God-given right. And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke he'd vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God-given rite, we only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free and home of the brave? pbn.4mg.com. And we're on live 365, then go to Liberty Tree Radio. We are also on AM&FM micro stations, CB base stations, and ultra net technologies, both south, north, southern Alaska and central Alaska and in places too numerous to mention and almost to the Aleutians. We're going to find out more about that over the weekend I'm sure. We are also mirrored in a number of different ways. If you want to find out how you can help take a little relief off of live 365 programming bandwidth, come into the chat room, go to libertytreeradio.4mg.com. stop in there say hi and you can connect to find out how to hook up with one of the dozens of mirror stations that are up now we appreciate the help there guys every once in a while you'll see him also posted in the chat room where they're going to come up online and that is going to make a big difference by the way just real quick uh... Don's now with us he's been running non-stop all through the night here when he can now there's been some other things going on too but uh... night vision 2 is pretty well in the can he's doing some detail work right now it is locked down uh... he did some filming turned around and did a whole bunch more filming with some other equipment and then some other equipment many had one of our allies uh... from not too far away come in with even more equipment and uh... between everybody and of the fact we have the manpower out there so you can see some interesting things on film okay or out in photograph there goes not on film anymore but that's the term we still use you know so you're going to see it in whatever format so that your ocular sensors can take it in and go that's interesting okay we're going to do what we can to make sure that Everything is squared away with that. It's going to take a few days worth of editing. Once it gets down here, we also have to do some narrative. And that's a high priority project. Understanding the present generation night vision and also taking a look at some of the night vision technology that some of our people have been building. There are some special little niches. We are working at producing probably a first generation system from off the shelf technologies by the time we're done. Actually, we had the prototypes. I got a chance to see those five, four days ago. And it's interesting that We've already announced this, but I didn't get a chance to see exactly what they were accomplishing. Now that I understand what's going on, I'm going to say thank you to our Michigan militia production technologies people because they have been working on filters. I'll give you an example. Most people don't realize this. I'll remind everyone. We produce 40 millimeter filters for the standard NATO masks. We have one machine. It is an older piece of equipment, but it was designed to do all of the stampings, etc., etc., and the final production, yada, yada, yada. It's actually a freebie that another factory gave us, and it was pressed into service for this mission. We also have one machine, and another one sitting there that still we don't have the parts for, that can actually produce. It's a mold unit that produces gas masks. We produce basically a Michigan military variant in a conventional civil defense type mask similar to the across between the Israeli civil defense mask and the M15 or the German M65. It's got a couple of features out that neither of those masks have and it's something that took a long time and we've had this in production now for what going on. 10 years, that's share time for manpower and the way we do this is we continue to build and build and build and they're prioritized for certain marine units or for militia units that are close into the system that have been in place for decades. Okay, priority is those that know and understand operational security and how it has to work. Now we get the parts for the other machine. or they're being built which is the next step. I kind of nudged somebody on this about two months ago and we'll have a second machine running and it'll run two shifts or three shifts a day. We'll see what happens. And it will produce one mask every what? I think it's every 30 some minutes or whatever. Not a fast system, older pieces of equipment, but they keep cranking out our equipment. Now it's too complicated to get into all the different steps we did to save things. For instance, head harnesses came from existing surplus inventory. Other fixtures came from existing inventory that we purchased years ago. So the basic components, once this system, say, runs out of a certain part, will be changed a little bit to meet the available inventory off the shelf from other places in the industrial community in the United States. So that'll be done. I want to bring it up because people don't tell me we can't find solutions. It is taking longer, but guess what? We've had the time to actually run the equipment. If the war breaks out, this equipment will continue to run for as long as it possibly can. In fact, it will probably be easier to access parts, pieces, and assemblies Plus, we'll be prioritizing other productions so that the gas mask systems are being built on a larger scale. But not the only thing we need. But it's one of those priority items that I will stress again. It's not an offensive weapon system. It's not a fighting knife. It's something that keeps you breathing so that all those other weapons will stay online. The gas mask is a defensive mechanism. Every one of you out there needs to have one now. And I mean now. Now, let me give you a couple of resource points. You can go to CenterfireSystems.com. CenterfireSystems.com at CenterfireSystems.com. They have a copy of the M9 mask made by Finland. It's a very good mask. We have an old law bar. People have picked it up. They have already been using it now in training operations. They also have the M10M, which everybody else does too, and a few other variations and parts and pieces there. That's CenterfireSystems.com. There is Epicenter.com. Epicenter.com. Epicenter. Epicenter, like being at the center of a bomb blast. Epicenter.com. Epicenter is a good company. They don't carry a whole lot of surplus, but they do have chem suits, the old Mark 3s, and they do have gas masks. But our best source, and the reason I ask that you do this, you hear the advertisements on Liberty Tree Radio every day, okay? In addition to that, you know because a lot of you have dealt with Frank in Maine. That's Maine, M-A-I-N-E, Military Surplus. Maine, M-A-I-N-E, Military Surplus. Maine Military Surplus. The company's website is MaineMilitary.com. M-A-I-N-E. military.com, all one word, main, m-a-i-n-e, military.com. Do you notice that I am emphasizing this when I'm bringing this up now? That is because if you cannot taste, touch, or smell the conflict coming, then something is wrong. Everybody knows it. Nine out of ten people walking the streets realize something really bad is happening with this country and they want to do something about it. Well, now is the time to give people solutions. And part of it is to ensure, to make sure that they have the insurance policies in hand. Any gas mask is an upgrade from holding your breath for less than three minutes and killing over dead. Okay? Now, this is still Weapons Wednesday. We might have, do we have down there now, I think? Not yet? Okay, I'll tell you what. Okay, uh... Oh, I'm sorry. That's okay. There's a dozen things going through my mind here real quick and we are going to break. So I'll tell you what, you hope for break. We got Spike as a calling. He'll be up with us when we come back. Not cheap mercenaries selling out to petty dictators under UN control, the colonial marines are there to protect and defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights of our nation. Not a globalist agenda for world domination. For more information, send us self-addressed stamp envelope to... Ladies and gentlemen, we are back. This is the Intel Report Live. I'll tell you what, real quick here, guys. MainMilitary.com, gas masks, MainMilitary.com, M-A-I-N-E, Military.com. There are two things that they have that you need. Actually, all the components you need to go with them. If you go through, there's the M10M gas mask, spare filters, two come with each mask. You have the DPM camouflage, chem suits top and bottom. They're available right now. Frank Hasem and stock and they're $12 a set. Okay. In addition to that, there's the M17 gas mask hood which fits perfectly on the M10M. All the M17 accoutrements for the most part can be adapted to or used directly on as is on the M10M gas mask. There's also the children's masks there. The Israeli Civil Defense Children's or Youth masks as they're listed. So don't tell me you can't find the right size mask. Now, get something now for the least amount of money if you are stripped for cash. Okay, it's that simple. Get the cheapest you can for now and then upgrade and you will have spares. Okay, just keep that in mind. Get something now. I don't care where you go, but I'm giving you some places because the prices are pretty decent. It is a high priority. There is no doubt in my mind that we are going to see a full range of ordnance deployed when the time comes. Now, they're not going to pee in the pool too deep, but here's the problem. If they peed in the pool overseas, you know, you hit everybody with bio or chem and someone, it was heavy. Do you think it's going to stay in one place? Do you think there's this nice neat little border force field that happens when they say they drop it on Bratislava? That is not how it works. So we need to make sure we have the defense systems in place because of planet rotation and just wind patterns alone. You might be in the wrong place at the right time and we have to evacuate from an area. At least you're not going to be taking in the agent when it happens. Now we have Spike who's been waiting in the wings here. Spike, jump in there please. Good afternoon, sir. How you doing? I'm doing fine and yourself? Oh, run run run run run. Got a lot done today, so I'm really satisfied with the work, but we need to accomplish more and we're going to, so we're advancing our schedule, getting some other machinery done. What's going on your end? Well, I had called you this morning about some stuff. E5 Omega Weathershield 50 caliber and the Traditions Pursuit LT Camo Thumbhole 50 Cal. Both muzzle loaders. Okay, there we go. Still not a bad price for what they are. But how far out would that reach? Would that be just as a regular 50 caliber? Would that be shorter? Well as far as muzzleloader goes, you can reach out to, well depending on whether or not you see, you can actually use Sabo slugs with the black powder pieces. Most people don't know that. And there are guys that have been driving up to 200 plus yards with their black powder pieces and knocking deer down without any problem. But there again there's special technology. So it's just a matter of, that's what I've been saying before, there's no outdated firearms on the battlefield right now. The other cool thing about modern black powder pieces I won't say it on the air, but with certain considerations, they can be made to work very efficiently because they're using modern metallurgy for all of the properties, the design of the weapon. So it's not like you're using a just above cast iron receiver and you know barrel Say from the Civil War pre-Civil War area instead you're looking at some pretty decent steel Made to standard firearms specifications, which means there are some interesting things that can be done with those anyway as a conventional arm Now most people say well, what about black powder? You know, you've got smoke? Well, first of all, you go to pyro decks That's an option but there are other directions to go to provided you understand your scales for loading But I'm not getting it on the air today because, and of course, we only talk about that personally where we can control the environment so people don't misunderstand what we're talking about. Anyway, they are good weapons though. Go ahead. The person has a nickel barrel. And some of the other things I saw here that might be of interest to people like me, they don't have a lot of cash. They've got a Mossberg Model 500 VR for $209. The same kind Mossberg Model 500 Slugster for $199. Remington 870 is 239. Rossi OD Green trifecta 3 barrel combo with a 20 gauge, a .243 and a .22 long rifle barrel was 219. Savage BXP or Mark II BXP .22 long rifle was 149. And then the Remington OD Green 597 was 149. So that's not bad as far as .22s go. on the 22 ammo they had box of the 500 box of 22 long rifle thunderbolts for 1498 and the 22 precision target from Winchester was 1998 for a box of 5. Excellent and again now that would give out the company name do they have a website too by the way? Yes it's dicksportinggoods and it's boardinggoods.com it's a national chain they're probably all over the place I know they are here in Indiana. I'm not sure about the rest of the country though. A lot of their stuff in the catalog that comes, what it is, it's just a Sunday paper ad. They don't put that stuff on their website for some reason. When I went to look for an ammo on their site, I had a heck of a time finding it. Part of that is political correctness and part of that is simply that it's not the highest priority, it's a seasonal priority. So what's interesting is you know there's things that they'll pick up that their logic is this time of year since we're into hunting season You know they're gonna push a pulse of out there and you know a wave of whatever they can find and I think they all found out the same thing this year is not like last year or the year before or the last decade or the decade before that You don't just run out and buy stuff now because it isn't just on the shelf like it was even at the jobber and wholesale end So whatever they had, I mean last year, last year and the year before, I had ads from that company and a couple of others and they were one of the companies that listed the CHI-COM pump shotguns for about $100. They had them as low as $86. And for what they are, for being a 12 gauge, you know, we know they'll pull the trigger and they go kaboom. They're a decent handout firearm, especially for rear area operation or for security. or for situations where you have to have about 10% overage on the battlefield in the way of spare weapons. It's an extra weapon you can afford to have in the field or have deployed with numbers and when the time comes hand it back out and the man at least is putting bullets down range. Well, one of the things I should mention on that, in combat operations, there's a whole process to the defense in depth, and one of the formulas there is to have extra weapons on hand. because troops are going to lose him. Guy gets stunned by an explosion, keeps running because he still got his wits, thinks he has his weapon. He does. He's got two pieces. Grip in one hand, you know, stock in the other, and a big hole in the middle. Hopefully it didn't take him, probably didn't, but the thing is weapons get shot just like everything else does. So spares are critical. That's another reason I'm a firm believer in a personal firearm, personal handgun carried in addition to the rifle. If you're carrying just a rifle and it malfunctions, has a stoppage, or gets shot or gets broken, you're going to be in a bad situation. On the other hand, if you have an immediate firearm to switch over to, then anything, I don't care if it's a 22 long rifle, 32 ACP, a 25 caliber barking dog, you know, 25 Colt, little baby browning or a Jennings, whatever. At least you're contributing to the battlefield in some way. Now if somebody's going to say, well the 25-voter doesn't do much. Makes me feel good pulling the trigger. Okay. It's just the idea that, you know, again it adds to the chatter and it creates numbers. Which is one of the other things that really people don't think about psychologically. An assault force or an attack force, if it feels confident, can be brought in or lured in by being made to believe that you're either undergunned or underpowered. Once that happens you bring them into the kill zone that you prepare and then you engage the target accordingly, break contact and then move to your second firing stations. All of this can be done utilizing a wide range of weapons so nothing is thrown away and nothing is useless but the personal handgun is critical. Prices are a little up still from what they were a few years ago. Mossberg has been creeping up progressively but still $200, well about $210 right? Yeah, figure $210. Yeah, see I'd go you know what for the $10 less go the slugster and be done with it because one nice thing about Mossberg's Just like Remington's is you can always buy other barrels later so the cool thing is that you can buy the one gun for a little less and Then go into whatever else you need later now sometimes do they offer a combo? Well have they got any combo guns there with say a 500 with two barrels? 935 3.5 inch waterfowl turkey combo 28 and a 24 inch barrel with a red dot scope on it for $4.99. Oh, a little more. What is that? Is that a Remington? That's a Rossi. Oh, a Rossi. The Mossberg same type 535 3.5 inch waterfowl turkey combo is only $2.99 and it's got the same barrel. Well, it's a 22 inch and a 28 inch barrel with a red dot scope. Better combination. I like the two lengths. 22 inch is a fine combat barrel by the way. The reason I bring it up is one of the points is what I said before, they kind of condition people, even in red dawn. Which again is nothing but a movie but if there are assist points to be made. The kids are hitting the target, they got a nice print on the target. You can see it on the trench coat. Hey, everything hit what you were shooting at. And then at the very next scene when they're on the campfire, the kids sawing off the barrel. Just the reverse guys. We want the barrel on the weapon. We need the range. I don't want them to get close. Okay? So again, the end of the other thing is with a 20 or 22 inch barrel nobody's gonna come break out of tape measure and go Your weapons too short. We need to harass you Instead it really frustrates them when everybody's carrying standard length or combat length barrels Tell you what? We got another caller coming up spike you stay right there for the moment We're gonna go to break here at the bottom of the hour with the Intel report its weapons Wednesday back in about four minutes here on Liberty Tree radio I am useless. I feel true. I'm straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I shoot him before he shoots me. Before God I scream. My rifle and myself are... We are the mass. We are the same. Why come ye hear the red coats? What mind ye madness builds in our valleys? There is danger, and there's danger in our hills. Oh, hear ye not the singing of the view, though wild and free. But soon you'll know the ringing of the rifle from the tree. Oh, the rifle, oh, the rifle, in our hands could prove no dry bone. You may ride a good late speed, you may not stern a master Your forward march with speed, but you'll learn the back much faster When you meet our mountain boys And the leader just starts Glad you make but little noise and always hit the mark Hold the rifle, hold the rifle Hit our hands, we'll prove no trifle Maggie no graves at home, back across the briny water. And Giddy must come like, well it's a suit to slaughter. But if we the job must do, then the sooner it is begun. If Clinton's bigger, hold the butt through, the quicker it will be done. Hold the rifle, hold the rifle. In our hands we'll prove no to rifle. Hold the rifle, hold the rifle. In our hands we'll prove no to rifle. Ladies and gentlemen, we are back. This is the Intel Report and you're listening to us on the first hour on Liberty Tree Radio. And you know, by the way, when you hear that, you know what that is? You hear that in, oh, the rifle. Think about when it was written, originally in the day of black powder muzzleloader. And remember that that was flintlock. So what you're hearing there is the strike to the pan, the charge going off, the first one, and that's what it's representing, and right behind it, the main charge going off and the bullet going downrange. One of the reasons You know back then guys had to really focus you and you learn to be a rifleman you learn to stay focused on target Distractions weren't it weren't weren't an option you had to expect that that charge was gonna go off kapop and Right behind it even as you're still tracking the target or staying on the target then the primary charge goes you feel that tug on the shoulder You drop the weapon you bring your primary your primary charging system back up could be a horn or it can be pre-papering charges rip drop push, rod, bump, bump, bump, rod in the ground next to you, back up, lock back, striker forward, powder charge into the pan, drop it back, drop back the striker and up to the shoulder and kapoom and then go through the whole process again. And you had to think. So anyway, in fact I had to even to do that. Okay. Now we have butter knife with more information here so keep your pens and paper ready because this is an information day. Butter knife go ahead please. Well that other stuff by the way is very similar to teaching somebody basic marksmanship with an air rifle. You spend long enough fiddling around pumping the thing up and so on that they're not going to be casual about squeezing off that shot. That's right. Exactly. Very good. Okay, I was out shopping and Wally World has a couple of not too bad offers on ammunition. I did some telephone shopping first by going around and calling half dozen of the Wallies. And it's kind of interesting, two of them had this item and four of them did not. So you might want to get on their site, run through the phone numbers and save yourself a little bit of gasoline. They are selling a 100 pack, a federal value pack of 223 right now. 100 rounds for $40, which is not too much more than the bulk prices that we're seeing mail order from folks such as amomand.com. What's interesting about this is that this is New Lake City Brass. This is marked LC08. It has the NATO head stamp with a little plus sign in the circle and sealed primer and all that kind of good stuff. It's 55 grains. 62 is not an option. But the stores that do have it seem to have it in modest quantity. The one I was at had 10 or 15 of them on the shelf. Which is a plus plus, although again, if a couple people went in and started really buying, that would be gone real quick, wouldn't it? It would be, but Wally frequently restocks quickly, so you never know. It would be a good thing. So actually if we get it off the shelf, there's more pulled out of the warehouse where you want it instead of it going somewhere else, which would be a nice thing. What's interesting about it, do you have any idea how many wallies there are? I don't, but... Oh, no, I know it's thousands. They passed Kmart years and years ago, I know that. And of course they are selective about where they put them to. They have a very specific marketing strategy. And part of that is government funded, by the way. Right. So, as far as which ones had the ammunition, that may have also been part of that little government contract thing too. Possibly, but this is a suburban one that had the ammunition. It wasn't confined just to the small town rural areas. Interesting. Again, real quick, before we go any further on that, too, with this ammunition, this was all mill spec ammo, lacquer sealed, everything's painted. I mean, it looks like a mill contract cartridge, doesn't it? It certainly does. So it's something that came out especially since it's got oh wait Lake City brass It's it's even if it's a component cartridge done by federal. It's obviously a contract cartridge So everything's gonna be you know work just fine for you guys have the ARs mini 14's 223 a K's Day woos and this is a good option now it is it how is it bad is it bagged is it clear bags and loose? What how do they configure that? No, it has a Colored outer box with multi-color printing on it saying federal value pack and inside it is white generic boxes of 20 Interesting black and white black print white box Yeah So again, we're looking at an interesting packaging system but easy to spot. You said about 15 on the shelf. Did you ask to see if they had any behind the back storage doors? No, because I wasn't interested in more than 15. Well, so again, people, keep in mind that what we can do is a quick sweep. Now here's a question. I've never done this with Wally World before. What about on their computer system? Do they have a customer service mechanism whereby you can spot check the inventory at stores like that? I've never bothered to look. uh... i don't know if they do or not i'd i'd use the uh... the walking fingers on the telephone which is still cheaper than each case the uh... uh... when i managed to get a hold of a clerk and a couple of stars there was nobody entering the phone uh... they they uh... scooted across the spring good section and looked at the case that helped what the inventory was When I have been in there in the past and have asked them, do you have any more of this, whatever it is I was asking about, the answer was always, if we have it, it's on the shelf. Good. Well, the most important here is that we're finding blocks of ammunition in different places. Some people don't want to order through the mail. Just keep that in mind, guys. The reason is that they prefer that they can walk out, grab it off the shelf, they shop around in their local area. You have to calculate shipping weight. shipping costs. See that's part of the formula whenever you're looking at picking stuff up. Plus, remember UPS is not our friend. That is the most important thing I want to remind everybody of this. UPS is not our friend. You might recall it was UPS, by the way mostly federal agents who were probably in UPS uniforms, that were busted open boxes that were going to the Branch Davidians. Does everybody remember that? Aren't those the guys in the brown shirts? Brown shirts? Where have we heard that before? Hey, wait a minute. Well, exactly. In fact, most important here is that, and I'll give you a little example of this, guys. This is not having to do with ammunition, but God knows what they stole in the way of ammunition, because up at Lansing at the UPS Hub, two federal or three federal agents would come in each day, and they arrogantly would come and park in the parking lot, open up the trunk, and put on UPS brown jumpsuits that they had been given by the office there so that they would blend in if anybody came in and wondered what they were doing. Except here's what those two feds were doing. They would go in and pick randomly so many hundred boxes and bust them open and steal everything inside. And then, of course, UPS was stuck with the bill. Because remember, if the stuff disappears or the stuff is stolen out of the box, then guess what? UPS has to pay for it and the insurance company, oh that means you and I, get to pay for it too. I don't know. One time I had a UPS employee steal a box of mine. I realized in retrospect that was the box that the clerk commented on. It was a very cut and dried situation. They showed one hop and then it just disappeared off their system. and all of that kind of good stuff. And they stonewalled me until I gave up and went away. Oh, that's the whole idea. Yes, they're told to try and do everything they can to get you to not claim on the insurance they made you pay for. Okay? Now, here's the thing. All the employees saw this every day for so many days a week, and every day these characters would show up, they'd do dozens and dozens and then hundreds of boxes a day at this hub. Now, some people say, well, you heard that as a story? No, here's the thing I can say now. The people who were watching were my relatives. In fact, very close relatives. OK, that's how we knew about the Lansing Hub and UPS and what was going on. In fact, they were stealing money. They were stealing jewelry. They would steal anything of value and then laugh about it and leave with it. And the UPS office, because of their Federal licenses and all the other stuff they would just great, you know grit their teeth or grin and bear it and You and I were the ones paying for it. So as far as you know shipping goes I understand and again guys we got to get it there some way so I understand we're gonna use somebody and UPS is one but remember There's a whole bunch of scurrilous swine through the system and that's what we have to be concerned with so if we can find other sources and remember this We may eat up and burn out a whole bunch of sources here. Think about this Right now, and this is why I want everybody to sonar ping us wherever we can find stuff like this, wherever we can we need to know because what happens when all those people you're waking up start going after ammunition and equipment the way they're supposed to? You've already seen what happened. Earlier this year, this thing already started. People started buying not to go blast at the range. People have been buying for a long time to put on the shelf and now they're doing it even more so. Plus you're seeing quantum multiplication with regard to our force strength. This force strength multiplication that's expanding means consumption of existing inventory is going to be greater and greater. People will be looking for those pods and pools of ammo. Now another thing we reported on a year ago, back when the 223 blight started, Wally World always has millions of rounds at their central warehouse. We know this. People have talked to them for years. Jobbers that I know usually go to Wally World and they can buy from them in quantity. They'll sell you a half million rounds. Their logic is they can get more. They have the purchasing power. Well for the first time guys in over a decade, Wally World this year refused to sell to any jobbers. Why is that? Well, the little side statement was they weren't sure they could get more. So their logic is that whatever they're buying, they're selling for their own profit. They're not selling to somebody else, so they can make a profit somewhere else with it. And I should tell you something, because Wally World has a few special connections here and there. So anyway, point is, we need to find out where all these little pools are. Another thing we're watching for is places where people have stuff that they haven't changed the price on. go to the old hardware especially in old dusty hardware that you've been going by for years it's been there since you were a little kid that used to be a gun shop and a sporting goods shop and they used to be a bait shop plus they have all the tools and everything. Usually they have bought a lot of things over the years they don't sell as much as they used to and the prices usually are fixed to a certain era. That's really cool if you find something couple of our callers by the way someone are listening in the chatroom by the way I've done that and they are still doing that and they're not telling anybody where their ammo is For obvious reasons they're gonna get all of them off the shelf first and I got to tell you or me Anyway butter knife anything more They have the usual seasonal specials going on right now. So some of the 12-gauge field loads and things are fairly cheap. If anybody needs that sort of bulk spotter, that would be a good place to take a chat. I do think there's a certain amount of value in diffusing our sources of this sort. And in most states, it's cash and carry. So you just walk in, and you're obviously adults, and they don't even ask for ID. And you walk back out. We're going to go to break. We'll be back in about three minutes here on Liberty Tree Radio. And ladies and gentlemen we are back this is the Intel report live we got butter knife here butter knife go ahead you still have a few more things to cover there. I had one more little thing I've done some further web research on the Aquila Shorty 12 gauge cartridges. and found some interesting discussion. These are in threads where people had been trying things out in their firearms, so I'm inclined to accept their word for their results. And one of the things that they said is that even the Remingtons, the 870s, are a little bit fussy with those short shells. Some of them like them, some of them don't. Some of the users reported that, well, you have to learn exactly how to stroke the forend to make the 870 behave well, which bothers me a little bit because under conditions of high adrenaline, what are the odds that you're going to do exactly what you've practiced doing on the range? You may have to go through an awful lot of that ammo to make some particular speed of action natural to the point of non-thinking. However, there is one interesting result that did pop up, and that is that everybody seems to think that the Winchester 1300 digests those without any qualms. Interesting. I don't know how widely distributed that particular shotgun is or how expensive it is and all that kind of good stuff. But for some reason that kept popping up. People kept saying that Winchester 1300 likes them. Well, the 1200 and 1300 are pretty common. They're out there around the country. The 1200 was done in everything just like Mossberg from pistol grip to goose barrels. OK. Well, that one makes it more attractive from that point of view. Well, that would be one of the newer lining. We actually have to check that to see what they've got out there, what the numbers are. But that's good information. So anybody with a flinch jester in the 1300 category, I can't see whether 1200 wouldn't be a problem then with it. Because the only significant change for the 1300 gas or be it gas or pump would be simply ease in production for Winchester. That's mostly what they've been doing is they've been going to more and more stampings and investment, you know, or slash infusion casting rather than milling from, you know, individual steel block. That could be. The other comment that came up is that people made vague references to some minor modification in the elevator could be made to cause the Remington 870s and the Mossberg 500s to like those cartridges better. I'm not sure whether I believe that. Everybody was vague about that. Nobody was very specific about exactly what modification they were talking about. It may or may not be second hand from Aguilar or what have you, but they did say that there was an available modification that people could make that would make those more digestible. But they all seemed to endorse the Winchester 1300 for that use. Now the curious thing about that, you see, and again we know when these first came out, especially in the 80s, they were actually, pretty much everybody was satisfied with them. We didn't have a whole lot of problems, so I'd be curious I'm going to have to do a spec sheet check. We've got some that are in storage, certain people do, that can actually be miked out. Because I'm curious about length of variance and other changes that might have been made. The thing about it is a 12-gauge shell is a straight tube. It's just like the barrel itself. There's no big deal. The simplest of all to actually produce. So we're going to have to do a little fiddling with the micrometer here and then we're going to have to do some more field testing again. I'd like to do it in a more scientific realm there with the weapons on the bench. We've done this before but now we have YouTube. What we need to do is take and get out on the range with the camera and do five of each and demonstrate the difference between them and how they operate. In other words, function or don't function. Try a 5 shell service test, just with loading and ejecting. Then do an actual live fire test, and with a number of rounds per gun, not just 5. The thing is investing in the shells, which is not a big deal. In fact, I think the way to do that is go with the cheapest, go with the shot, the bird shot. And they also find that there may be a millimeter or three difference in what's being produced now versus what was being produced a few years ago. That's what I'm thinking. That's possible. Now we're going to find out because there may be a very good reason. At the very least, I'm going to point something out. A lot of people are carrying double barrels or single barrel shotguns as light duty weapons or as just put in place shotguns to leave around the house. In other words, 20 inch barrels, standard stock, top break with five rounds, five shells on the stock. The nice thing about having 12 gauge shells like this that are smaller is you can carry a lot more of them in a pocket or in a pouch. and loose, they can be in a lot of different places where they're pretty handy and take up less space. It may also let you persuade smaller people who are shy of the recoil of a normal shell to actually use a shotgun. Yes, that's the other thing. Now we're going to have to test recoil on that too. Actually there is a recoil meter, we have that, we have one. So we can actually do that to demonstrate the difference between Magnum Standard Load and the shorter loads which have been developed. So that would be a good, that's something that is going to be on the, in fact it's on the priority list now because it's something we need to deal with. It's the most affordable or at least more affordable than a lot of other shells are on the market right now. So we're going to do it weekend there. You might also try a fast and slow operation of the slide because that is reported in some cases to be a key factor. Very good. Okay, anything else? No, I'll get out of the way now. Okay, very good. Take it easy, butter knife. And we have Mike Lewis up next. Mike, jump in there, please. Hi, Mark. I was going to talk for a minute about scope use on a battle rifle. If you go by a high dollar sniper scope, it will come with a sunshade. And the purpose of the sunshade, if you're pointing anywhere in the general direction of the sun, your enemy can see the flash of the sun off the lens of your scope. I don't like the real high dollar sniper scopes because I prefer a lower power scope and those you can't get a screw on the sunshade but you can make a sunshade for these. You can get a Butler's Creek scope, flip open, a little pin, the flip open part, turn them together, want them to hold them together and that way stick it right on to any kind of scope because they make those Butler Creek scope shades and that way you can sunshade for your rifle. The science behind this that as long as you have sunshade over scope equal to or greater than the diameter of the objective lens, as long as you cannot see the sun through that scope without a flash. And I like these better than the honeycomb anti-reflection devices that some people use, because with the honeycomb anti-reflection devices, it reduces the light transmission and your scope isn't near as bright and doesn't work as well at twilight conditions. for a general purpose combat rifle. I prefer like a 1.5 to 5 verbal power scope. Whereas you can turn it down to 1.5 power for close range or crank it up to 5 power for a longer range. And the other thing to watch out about is at a close range, say 25 feet, especially where they are, your scope sits way above the rifle bore. So the impact point looking through the scope is going to be way higher than where the bolt will impact at a close range because the axis of the scope is so much higher than the axis of the bore. I like scopes, but don't take the air insights off your raffle and be sure you know how to use your air insights. Because they're a lot more dependable in scopes, but scopes are good for saving ammo and making a better long-range shot. And in other words, making every round count. Again, backup, when you're buying cheaper scopes guys, you can afford to buy three scopes, put one on the rifle, put two on the shelf. That way you're not having to readjust to a new scope. You actually have the other scopes there in place. And as long as it's robust enough, It's pretty well going to survive just as well as any other thousand dollar scope. When it comes to hitting a tree or a log, not many of them survive quite well. Scopes unfortunately do have that issue to deal with in that they have a tendency to lose their seal. You can misalign them, you can break them, rupture them, whatever. And so having a spare is a good idea, especially when it's reasonably priced. You can buy these little mini Pelican packs, or you can make up a PVC tube that's padded on the inside with caps and put it in there to transport it in your backpack. There's a number of different cheap solutions even so that transport is quite economical and you don't carry a whole lot of extra weight. Now, you do not throw away a scope if it's damaged. We bring it back and recover it because there are parts that may be usable on another one that may already have, say, a broken component. So, parts is parts. Everything can be rebuilt or used for something else. Anything else, Mike? Oh, I think Mike left us already. Thank you for calling in. Appreciate that. We are at the top of the hour, ladies and gentlemen. First hour's already gone. If you get a chance, jump in. You want to give us a call, that's fine. We are going to leave you for now though.
