Mark Koernke discussed night vision equipment capabilities and applications, including first, second, and third-generation devices, their operational limitations, and cost-effective alternatives like glow sticks for marking ranges and evacuation routes. He covered a multi-state militia training exercise (Huttari) and upcoming events at Knob Creek on September 10-12, including a machine gun shoot and patriot gun show. Koernke and guest Don analyzed a video of a LAV-25 armored vehicle deployment during a Michigan State Police raid, discussing the vehicle's specifications, vulnerabilities, and tactical countermeasures. The episode emphasized preparedness, equipment force multiplication, and detailed analysis of government law enforcement tactics.
I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked him through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republic in each God-given right. And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As Iowoki vanished and missed from whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep What would be your answer? He called out from the grave Dill the land of the fellow and this is the first hour of the afternoon intelligence report. Training exercise this weekend, multi-state. The Huttari exercise went very well. Congratulations to everybody that was a participant. I understand that they did an excellent job performing in the field. They had five states represented there, which is also really cool. So congratulations to all of those guys that were present and gals. It was a pretty busy weekend in general. A lot of other projects completed. I understand that we're going to be shooting east to align us here now. seven days or so and then we still have of course just around the corner guys today is the what well down the date is there I believe it's like the money almost through with September but you know what on the 10th 11th and 12th just around the corner is Kanab Creek guys just around the corner not to be ready for that that's the next big event where people are gonna be purchases we've got the machine gun shoot the gun There's a Patriot Gun Show there that's going to be taking place off-site and that's supposed to be, we'll find out more about that when we get there. Poker Face is going to be at Knob Creek on the 10th, 11th, and 12th. And they're going to be playing. We're going to try and see if we can simulcast. We'll do what we can there to hook up everything and have everything ready to go. I've got all the gear. I just got to make sure it's there at that end so that they can broadcast to the world, not just right there on site, which would be a lot of fun. I want to say thank you to our friends for donating some of the really cool technical support that they dropped off over the weekend. And last Friday helped a great deal and will be, shall we say, expedited to the appropriate locations so that even more television and radio work can be done on an even a whole panel. I want to say thank you to Alicia, to Frank for those donations. Training exercises, don't know we're going to have a new video up by the way to do this exercise. We will have a new video up on YouTube, possibly this evening. We'll wait and see. It's a purely matter of load time, guys. We've never dealt with YouTube. It's the time it takes to get it loaded into the system and then for them to check it out. Pat on the head, and then squeeze on the butt, and it's up on the screen. So that's coming up. So you might want to keep checking our YouTube site. You can go to YouTube and then punch in Liberty Tree Radio. Or you can go to our libertytreeradio.mg. LTR video link which is right there in the middle of the page and that'll take you right to our YouTube page and the premiere videos at the top of the block is typically the newest one now there is a new video there right now so if you can go in comment and rate please this helps us a great deal expanding dramatically as we go here now we're picking up steam with regard to editing on the videos to get a lot of the stuff out in the can and The most recent coming up is very important that you watch because it's part of the know your enemy. So you understand what you're dealing with. You fight. Now Don, you have night vision available and I want to make sure everybody understands we're working on the... Nice vision video. Number two, and we got some more footage done. Well, you're doing more shortly, if not today. Well, one of the things about it, Mark, is you know, you take a picture, if you've ever been in three dimensions, Now, when you take a picture of what we'll be doing, we'll be, you know, putting a light in a night vision device and then taking a picture with a digital video. One thing I did today, Mark, was the highest number of lines I could get in a digital video cam. This will be a pretty good damage example of, again, you know, one thing I wanted to spread this goodly amount of time, you know, and then a full moon night. But see how this is mine. Actually, this is, right now, you're as dark as you're gonna get. Now, this evening, as a matter of fact, absolute blast. of black is the official for tonight short of a reflection this is about as dark as it gets for start short of them shutting all the city lights off too and then we're back to the stony iteration when looking at the technology and how it works or understanding how it works now go ahead let people know right off the bat because we've got a lot of people upgrading real quick we have older equipment and we don't and here's the first rule I'm explain you don't get rid of any of your older night vision all Force multiplication. Even if you had the whole unit outfitted with night vision and you plan on upgrading, what you have is the equipment to outfit a second unit if you're going to completely change over or at the very least you have backups to what you need, maintain them to the best of your ability. However, ideally, force multiplication. You go to the next generation in night vision, you pass on the first generation or the second generation equipment you've got, personnel. your next formation that you're building up, if it's a fire team or a squad or whatever, you make sure that you expand their ability because every step up brings them that much closer to the parallel ability that you have, okay, the certain tier that you're at. You wanna bring in, can't I get them perfect? Because obviously then of course some of them may spend the money accordingly, but at least you've got them in certain categories where they're just a step behind but not much. And it's enough to keep them on the battlefield, you know, alive that much longer or to help them to perform their task. They may not be combat personnel. Support personnel don't need the same technology for them to be working in the dark. They just need something to get by for close range, etc., etc. So nothing is thrown away. Not IR, not first-generation starlight. I don't care what it is. You know, even conventional cameras offer, the modern ones especially, offer pretty good light collection into the hours of darkness. So that's another consideration with some of the tricks we've used in the past, at least for monitoring and security operations. Now, Don, go ahead and let everybody know what's available and how they can get hold of you, please. piece out of Walmart right now for $149 to $179 and right now I can on second and third looking at American tubes you guys so we don't have to worry too much remember I told you about isolationism before and the dollar isn't really doing too bad here in America third generation isn't truly the money off the tube and that's where they do make the money guys if you've got a first-gen saving for a second-generation device at the very somebody through the back talking and he'll be operating a second tonight you have act on your illuminator on a It might be a quarter mile away and look at your light from your tree on a match, you know. The time you've looked around, I've got a first generation device with an illuminator and it's, I can't use it. No, you can use it in particular situations and you can use it and there'll be other demonstrations. You guys, there's a whole bunch of things you don't want to do in the dark. And if you want to do it, you want to do it with a particular bit of preparation. Preparation is everything, isn't it Mark? You guys, we're right at the first quarter hour. We'll be back the other side about three minutes, Mark and Don, the intelligence report, and we'll get out some more information for you. You might want to get a paper and pencil ready. In this instance where the advertisers you hear everybody get a paper mostly because we were talking about and I'll get you out my number in a minute. But down those numbers, bring the brakes. You might need some of that. maybe next week, maybe next year, maybe next week. Again, you know, read and write. Again, I'm getting a little bit off track. If you're looking for night vision, I mostly say, well, I can get you night vision and someday we might get some deals there if I'll let you know. Now, again, the night vision, I'm talking about a Russian piece, unless it's a PBS2. Sometimes I'll get someone that calls me and he says, hey, man, can you get me a PBS2? Use the PVS you're familiar with, that's who gravitate to. And a PBS2 is a pretty good first check. first generation device because it's a stand in there. They call it a cast. One unit amplifies, the next one bumps that up even more, and the third one produces the electrons that bump onto the phosphor screen. You see on the little green. In fact, the PVS2 is so good for a device, Mark, that that gives you an idea how good the American night vision, that individual first-generation piece is the PVS2. You're not going to get a brand new PVS2. We addressed this a while back, Mark, about refurbishes of night vision. A number of PVS2s. What they'll do is they'll use the D because you're going to get about 1500 maybe if you treat it really nice maybe about 1800 hours on the device will need a new two. 800 hours on the device, fast beat the body and even a little bit detailed about it and then they assemble it again and it looks all like brand new and refurbished mark the overhaul or caveat there you know of the uh pvs2 unless someone tells you yeah man this is new old stuff 1973 in writing And I wouldn't mind having it because it really wouldn't go bad. They'd just be sitting there staring at you with low hours. Now again, you know, by the time you go up to second generation, you're gonna get minimum of 2,500. And if you treat it really nice, an example, never pointed at tail light, never pointed at a street light or the moon, don't ever point a piece of night vision at the moon. The brightest silhouette have the defensive generation mark with some little defenses. You could be looking down and it pointed at you and the guy pulls the icon. that third generation piece, it will even to the point where a Charlie Chaplin movie, you know, Flash, will still be able, about PVS2s, original PVS2s. Purely, the discipline of the operas were again, the first one. When they found out that some people aren't as disciplined, others mark, detection even into the, but it won't offer you any ability in high resolution is gonna go. You might get as low as 12 millimeter in a high, low, or mentioned, summons the headlights on your third generation device. Maybe someone out there has one of those metal devices or maybe 14 maybe 6 millimeters. The screen is well to a certain extent that's true in night vision but for lines per inch in the micro channel plate or light light amplification you're going to get also a finer this the picture will be that mix of the small you that you as example when you focus at a hundred yards you'll have a focus to maybe 50 and it's well beyond a hundred yards the more light per millimeter you have on a plate which transdues lines per millimeter on the upper screen. The dinky little television caveats, you know. Even if you're stan- and this is another thing I want to know, you can take a green as example when there's a quarter and night vision will too. The field that has a tree line and the moon is in the trees, the tree line will produce into the field. Individual piece of night vision is going to adjust its ambient light in. If you're looking at the field, you won't be able to make out hardly anything in the shadow because again, The device has adjusted itself for the brightest light in its field of vision. We'll talk more on this when we come back, you guys. A lot of it is hard to describe, but we'll make it a lot easier when we put it down in a video, Mark. Do the plaintiff or defendant in a lawsuit? Bob Marley, Mark is, you have to get a little background. He was a political man one day. When he came down from the stage, I asked him, well man, you were just shot two days ago. How come you're here? You should be recouping. Bob Marley said to that reporter, taking a day off for Bob Marley when I heard that. Not that I didn't respect him, but I liked his music. But now I kind of like his, liked his political. That paper involved with the number for Don for night vision. And the number is nine or six, five, eight. give it to you a couple more times here. Two, three, one, eight, four, laid on that paper and pencil to quick draw exactly your specialty. One more time, you guys. Two, three, one, piece of night vision. I'll be more than happy to answer your questions about the demiability. There's a few things top of here and there that I've never seen before, but I'll give my hands on them. Ask me about the device. I'll tell you, well, for $10 more or for I can put you into or you can buy from something that will do better to help you out in that instance. You simple viewer all the way to gun sites if you want to talk about. Again, two, is again technology upgrades people even if only one person in your squad has equipment remember you deploy that piece of equipment and share important things with night vision it's like all the other special tech equipment experiment to see who people have better eyes and others in the dark others better with electronics in some cases and this is true this is what the military test out for years used to have the hearing test when you wanted a fees they used to have a couple of other visual and audio acuity tests to see if you actually had a deeper range one person over another and they would direct you accordingly towards certain MOSs for obvious reasons. So this is an important issue with regard to how we equip and train our people. And it's why the night vision enhancement we overlap with other technologies that we're deploying. By the way, real quick with regard to night operations, 16, 20 in a box for the the night glow sticks. Halloween and for the season. Smaller than for little to nothing. You know what? Even if they didn't work as long, it makes no difference. When you're spending a nickel or seven cents apiece, they'll work just fine, for instance, for marking pathways for evacuation. Oh, nickel to seven cents mark. If you have someone, seven of the past, you could lead a hundred. You could lead a thousand. The narrowest, most dangerous, picking them up also. Dale and Charlie stuffs them in the bag and nobody knows where you've been. Again, they run for most of the night, so the cool thing is you can actually reuse them every once in a while, stop the formation, move the equipment back to the front, start dropping them again. See how that works? A dollar store item. Here, it's insurance. If it works, it works. Use them or lose them. After a little while, toss them out. If you don't feel comfortable with them, pull them out and play with them on some night and go buy some more from the store. Bad part is, chances are the ones you're buying from the store are probably going to be the same lot you just used. Hey, if you can pick up a hundred of them for seven dollars, do it. Well, and the other thing is like with a night vision another little trick here by the way You take the glow sticks like that you put them out to your front at specific distances. Remember we've talked about ranging especially at night. Yep You can lay them up and you hang them up in the trees. Nobody can do anything about them Nobody can get rid of them. Nobody can move them. They want to climb up the tree or waste ammo that just exposes their position Okay, so So anyway, the point is that 100 yards, 200 yards, 300 yards, 400 yards, you know the exact ranges. And if you don't have any night vision and you're looking for color determination, purple is 100, red is 200, green is 300, blue is 400, and then repeat the cycle. See how that works? In fact, you can lay them in all directions. You let the other bad guys figure out what's going on, especially since for a dollar you can put 20 of them all over creation, hanging them up randomly so they can't be sure what's going on. You're creating illumination. That little bit of light actually creates a lot of illumination with night vision. You'd be amazed at what it actually does to the surrounding area. Because remember, you don't see it, but with light amplification, your machinery does. Okay, so that's another critical issue. So there's all kinds of things but right now the dollar store You can get all kinds of cool rubber masks cheap cheap cheap You can get all kinds of remember the Halloween stores are going to be out of business almost as quick as they're in business right now They're selling go check to see what kind of junk they have laying around people. You never know what you're gonna find. It's useful even camouflage face paint hair nets head nets spandaflage but start thinking ahead. And if I think right now, this is equipment you can use. Now the night glow sticks, another thing, how many of you have underground passageways or basements where you're worried that you're going to be evacuating to and evacuating out of, but you're worried about the power being shut off? Now consider this. One of those little day glow sticks every 10 feet hung from the rafter or hung from a little clip or hook on a bar And guess what? You've got self-powering illumination to get you down that tunnel in a matter of moments. If you have people that are familiar with marine navigation, will be very good because you know, you say it's left of the green. Kinds of little tricks here people. They keep thinking, think this through. They're going to shut off. Okay. Nights to glow sticks like this. You can get, okay, let's see, there's eight rooms in your house and three or four rooms in the basement or two rooms in the basement. Let's see, that's $10 worth of $1 boxes of glow sticks. And all of a sudden you have free illumination that isn't going to burn, isn't going to explode. Don't have to worry about anybody going, well the batteries ran out. Hey, think about that. Now if you want to figure out, here's the thing. You might have to spend a whole dollar. Woo hoo! And what you do is you have some fun. Tell the munchkins, hey we're going to do something tonight. We're going to go out back here. I'm gonna sit at the picnic table, I'm gonna have a stopwatch, and I want you guys to start one of these up at a time and go dance around the woods with it. I want to see how far I can see ya, and I want to see how long one lasts. And you know what, by the way, we don't care, you know, do a couple of them. Let's do two or three, two in each hand, and you guys go running through the woods there, and let's see how far out I can see ya, without night vision. Now, I'm doing two things. I'm getting the munchkins to burn their calories. I'm keeping them busy. They're happy. Everybody's doing their part. And I'm sitting here with a stopwatch. And however long any of them last, OK, the first one to burn out gives me my minimum time to exposure. Now, there are 20 in a box. I could assume that out of four, or if I can, I can even activate all of them. Hang them from the munchkins, you know, half on one, half on the other. Let them dance around in the woods. Whichever one goes out first gives me my minimal burn time. Now, I can time each one as they go out or as they fade, and in doing so, I can even come up with an average time set. But I would rather go with what is considered to be minimal burn as the assumption rather than, you know, the exception. And that way, I know that if I have a box of 20 and they're good for 20 minutes to half an hour, well, you do the math. 20 times I have... Oh, that's 10 hours. I've got 10 hours worth of illumination with a 20-count box. probably more but let's just say at least that which isn't too bad ten hours for a dollar Wow and they sit there forever yep now if you can come across the it might be 2m er mark in that catalog you'll see infrared globes actually I have a handful of her brought back from desert dust part one most people don't realize it but they were actually used quite extensively during the war we'll talk about how you use those when we come back we'll also talk about a new video we want you to Check out you guys, the intelligence report and hey, 29 September, um, it's a quarter to six, we'll be back in about three minutes. You can also go to, let's do it this way, go to LibertyTreeRadio.4MG.com and when you get to the page, you'll see right in the middle is LTR video, it's our video link, you punch that, it'll take you over to our YouTube video site. and the video that's up for right now that just went up here in the land now up and online and this is the Scott Woodring video that we've been talking about. This is the footage of the attack but I want you to pay attention because that's the actual audio track that you're listening to. Now the only thing we've done is compressed it because of the time it took for the vehicles to move. Pay attention to the surroundings in the video. If need be, we'll post the whole blasted video up in segments down the road. That's not a problem. We can do that. But this is so you have an understanding of ways that the lab or other vehicles have been deployed. Now, the LAV-25 that you're seeing there is an armored ambulance slash CP slash support type LAV. It doesn't have the turret. You'll notice it has the longer van type body. When you hear the term van type body to use the military vehicles, that means it usually has a larger box type expansion to the main troop chamber. Examples of this is a lot of the pictures you'll see of the M113s that are being handed over to the police are the armored ambulance slash CP slash armored ammunition carrier model, which has a box, okay, past where the troop and the engine department is, there's actually a step up of about a foot and a half. Now on the Lab 25 that you will see in this image, Lab 25 has a little bit of a step up, not as extreme as you'd see on the M1 113, but it still has an upper step to it that begins just past the driver's hatch and the forward engine, you know, the forward engine block area. Vehicle itself is used in two or three configurations with the state police as we have ID'd them. Typically they keep two of these LABs deployed together. There were 20 in one group that were brought in. There are others in other locations they don't think we know about, but we do. We've seen them all over the country. The Lab 25 is an eight wheeled fast attack vehicle. Fast sounds really cool. Everybody thinks, oh my goodness, take a run. Well, yeah, well, you can run yourself right into the middle of something and not get out. Keep that in mind. So fast isn't necessarily a plus plus thing if you're not thinking combined with fast. Also, yes, susceptible to all small arms fire, remember, the basic philosophy for defense with light armor is the same philosophy we had in World War II. Everybody engage with everything. Think about this, there's only so many vision blocks on board, there's only so many radio antennas attached. You may not penetrate, but you do all kinds of what is considered to be like a video game, cumulative damage. If you do not understand this principle, I suggest that you study World War II, US anti-armor, now even leg infantry units standing up against a heavy mechanized force. Policy was to engage fire up anything and everything in front of you, expend all the ammunition you can that's in your position because, you know, use it or lose it guys. You can't carry it all away. And then fade and allow the mechanized force to pass and engage its supporting units. It would mechanize in an isolated form or in this configuration. I suggest that you watch this video. There are many others like this that we are going to be posting with different, you know, examples of what to watch for. This is a LAV 25 CP vehicle, command post vehicle. That means it has more room in the rear end. Well, with regard to the explosive charges, the company that provided these, and oh my god, these suckers lied left and right. If you listen to the video, you're gonna hear the p**** out say that they were going to destroy and kill, destroy the house and kill him, okay? Now, in court, they absolutely lied even though all p**** on video, guys. Trying to disclaim now what they did is the charge that they used was a satchel charge provided by a company an explosives and ordinance company when the company found out what the HRT the I'm sorry the SRT here in Michigan had done this is Michigan State Police and other potlickers and bottom feeders What's interesting is the company withdrew all of its product and support Because A, they abused the resource, then they tried to lie and claim, well they didn't know what was going to happen when they put, they thought it would be like a big flash bang. That's a lie. They knew that it would do damage to the structure and start a fire. Always remember that. How can you tell when they're lying down? Their lifts are moving. That's right. Now, you've got the video there to watch, but there's much more that's going to be posted progressively in other categories. This is something that we want all of you to watch. That's a LAV, an LAV 25 CP vehicle. Now the footage that was sent the other day was of a LAV 25 conventional or standard model APC slash infantry reconnaissance slash infantry fighting vehicle, APC slash IFV. In the case of the images that you saw, there was a group of five. Again, they're not all powerful. They're just that people don't... First of all, there was no resistance because nobody was in the building. Their assumption was that they were murdering him on site. In fact, they spent hours and hours and hours after they completely burned the place. They didn't make any effort to fight the fire guys. This is just like Waco. Just the reverse. As you'll see in the footage, you'll see they had bulldozers on standby to push wreckage in and burn everything to destroy all evidence. Yeah, they don't do a whole lot of good there. And again, classic example, why everybody needs to watch it. No, it's not. Feudal or resist, you'll be absorbed, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. This is the, and again, understand, watch the equipment and how it operates. Listen and pay attention to the soundtrack. Listen to the sound. Well, Mark, just begs the question, if one of those were to show up at a particular area where someone might have one of Ronnie's five, he doesn't stand up. There are a number of different options. Remember, if you watch the vehicle, it's backing in. They're having to place the charge. Now let's say that you were in a situation like that. Mr. Flamethrower is your friend. Typically, tread heads like to run hatches open or hatches loose. The problem with that and also with delivering something like this is if you're standing right there and of course they're probably trying to support with small arms fire in reverse and again you got to be careful about exposure because of support riflemen away from the vehicle. The point is that when the hatch opens up guys it's a middle box inside. You don't put 30 round mag inside in the little buzzy bees you just do listen up. Oh my goodness they don't stop till they find soft chewy stuff. So inside that box, every bullet will count. Okay, the other thing is, Mr. Flamethrower is your friend. Somebody asked us a comment, well how do you deal with this? Mr. Flamethrower is your friend. One of the things about armor is it's flat roof. Look at the top of the thing. Stuff burns. Anything that's liquid and tarry and like as a high burn, low burn. has a tendency to really mess with equipment like this. In fact, especially if it had, for instance, it was thermite, you can't get it off and once it starts burning, you ain't getting it off. You get my drift. So there's all kinds of solutions. But of course, flammables inside the troop compartment, especially like, well, there's no place to go inside that metal box but one little hatch door and everybody will be trying to get to it at the same time. If you haven't seen that, it's rather comical. I'll bet not a killer one inside, but it is rather fascinating to watch five or seven people try to fit through a space only big enough for one. I have seen this. It is not an experience you want to be part of. So the bad guys, they don't want to talk about that. But anyway, militia, dash, know your enemy. Video is up on our YouTube site. Go to YouTube, punch in the Liberty Tree radio, then go to the new video, militia, dash, know your enemy. Check it out right now. Don, the first hour is gone. As always, God bless the Republic. Jeff, to the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. But we are on the march, folks. Day and night. We're off. Six bayonets chasing down the road. They try to get out of the APC once it's burning. Don't let them die. Thank you, Don. God bless you, Mark. God bless you, America. The Bill of Rights protects every American's God-given right to keep and bear arms. Now that right is being seriously undermined as legally registered rifles are being confiscated in some parts of our country. If we're not careful, we may find ourselves with no right to own guns.
