Mark Koernke hosted Weapons Wednesday on September 10, 2008, featuring an extended interview with Houtari about an upcoming militia training exercise scheduled for September 27-28 in Michigan. The discussion covered detailed equipment requirements, training objectives, and logistics for the multi-state exercise, including gas mask training, sniper shooting, live fire operations, night vision tactics, and team-based combat maneuvers. Participants from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Texas, and Michigan were expected to attend, with families welcome to participate in portions of the event. The show emphasized physical preparation, weapon maintenance, proper gear configuration, and the importance of militia training as a foundational defense mechanism.
Live 365 If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free and home of the brave? well good evening ladies and gentlemen this is the intelligence report i'm our party and i'm probably one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines of occupied territories south west central and east Well, ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on libertytreeradio.4mg.com, pbn.4mg.com. And we're on live 365, then go to Liberty Tree Radio. You will also find us on AM and FM microstations, CB Bay stations, and ultra net technologies east and west of the Mississippi, southern and central Alaska. Node 6 is offline for two days. And of course most of you are probably using your alternate routes to access the mechanism. And so again for two days, Node 6 will be offline. That's just a notification. Nothing to worry about there. But today? Well, now today is a special day, isn't it? Hey you guys, you're right Mark. It is, let me look here, it is September. And you know what that means? We're going to have to run particular mechanical motion here if you leave. You guys, it's weapons. We can offer equal opportunity course in force, which of course the United Nations would want to make sure that only the police state has a monopoly over. Well, they can stick that 12 gauge up there high and then reverse and we'll pull the trigger for them, okay? Up there. Bottom line is, this is the United States. Granted, there's a lot of panty waste like to hand it over to somebody else, but we're going to kick their slats out of the country along with the rest of these goofs. And when we're done, get on with life and stay free. Today, being Weapons Wednesday, a couple of real quick reminders. We have exercises coming up. We also have other manuals that have come from the printer. Some of those will be available for this exercise, which is really cool. We're going to provide those to our friends at Huttari. And we have a number of different little points as far as resources that have come up. We're looking for that we finally ID'd. We'll bring those up in a minute, but we have Houtari on the line right now. So are you there? Yep Very good. And I'll tell you what you guys are going to give us an up-and-down. What's happening the 27th and 28th? Well 27th and 28th as most people have heard. We got this training coming up. We're going to do an extended gas mask training. We're going to do the sniper shooting scoot. We're going to add some new twists to this. We're going to add a moving target. We're going to kind of block it down so you're going to have a window of opportunity to get in, make your shot, and get back out. Kind of hurry things along a little bit, make people see what it's like to have to crawl in, make the hit, get out, having the comforts of taking all day to do it. We play up at 8.30 in the morning. We're going to go in, set up base camp. We do have some guys from Indiana coming up. They're going to be here a little early, about 15 of them coming up. And they want to kind of go in. They want to be kind of self separation. So we've kind of agreed we're going to meet up with them a little early. So anywhere between 7 and 8.30, people can roll in and get everything set up and get going. And again, if they want to get a hold of you, now first of all, if you want to check out Houtari's other videos, work they've done in the past, H-U-T-A-R-E-E dot com. That's H-U-T-A-R-E-E, Houtari dot com. Take the time, check out the videos, and remember when you see a trigger pulled, there's a live ground going downrange. Now, for this operation, specific tools are going to be mandatory, aren't they? Yeah, we're going to, you know, like, you know, you definitely need your gas mask for that training. On our night op, we're going to use a helmet because the woods we're going through is God forsaken by day, much less by night. Nobody getting knocked out in the middle of the night, so you can help make sure you protect your noggin. nobody having you know complain that their feet are hurting if you get a new pair of boots you might want to be put them on get a broken we don't want nobody have the book pain actor five because you know that's not the standard practice anyways changer socks everyday definitely be to use don't bring no blue jeans going to be an actual training we're going to keep up we're going to be running in teams if you're not in a team you arrive we're going to put you in one Definitely going to be shooting live fire, so we're talking two to three hundred rounds of ammo. That might be on high side. We're hoping not to use them in any rounds, but just to be on safe side, bring two to three hundred rounds. Much less what you're going to carry on you at all times. We want a full combat load. We don't want somebody coming out there and okay, well I've got two magazines, big deal. Unless you plan on fighting with two magazines an entire war, bring your combat load. It's the helmet, gas mask, BDUs. We're going to be staying overnight. Make sure you bring a tent and a sleeping bag. Just odds and ends like that. Common sense of course right now, guys, the temperature, it's already dropping down. Oh yes. So we're seeing Michigan weather here in this end of the continent, so for everybody listening, wet weather gear, make sure you've got your poncho, make sure any of the rain gear you put on carrying, that's part of your combat and part of your house load. With regard to gear sleeping gear, that's purely a matter of how comfortable you want to be. But sleeping bag at the very least, a wool blanket or two is a good idea. There's the old ranger saying travel light, freeze at night. You expect to do that or if you understand you're going to do that, that's fine. Otherwise, we don't want to hear any complaints. It would be a good idea to have either a sleeping pad or an air mattress. I like U.S. military air mattresses for a reason. They also serve other purposes because we are in a wet weather environment here a lot of times. We have a lot of rivers and lakes, so we have a lot of water barriers that need to be crossed. A couple of air mattresses go a long way to keeping equipment out of the water. So, air mattresses are a good option, just understand how to use them. There are some surplus check ones out there right now. There are some US ones hanging around from different locations. But that's again, personal choice. There's also foam pads, there's fold up German foam pads. Actually those are quite compact. We used a couple of those a week and a half ago. And we've had those for quite some time. But it's just personal solutions there. But you make sure you carry your whole in Okay, so you're going to have to look at your fighting load and look at your house load and decide how best to pack it. Extra water mandatory, that's my recommendation on this people. Two canteens on your web gear at least and four canteens or diaphragms or whatever you're going to do on your backpack. so that you're carrying water in. Even though you may access water, this is again part of your fighting load. If you were jumping out of the back end of an APC or a deuce and a half or a light reconnaissance vehicle, how would you be leaving that vehicle? That's how you should be arriving at this training exercise. So again, make sure everything is squared away. Understand how your equipment works and how your helmets should be adjusted. We'll check that out when the time comes. Make sure everybody is squared away there. There are a lot of accoutrements or attachments that go on the helmets to make them more comfortable so they don't bobble, don't move around as much. Again, it doesn't have to be a Kevlar helmet. The idea is you need a noggin saver, so it could be a hockey helmet, of course, a bicycle helmet. I'd recommend, again, they're fairly reasonable, pick up a US steel pot with all the accoutrements. That way you've got a decent combat helmet. The camouflage covers are readily available, so that's not a big deal. It's just a matter of throwing everything together fast and it's still a hell of a lot cheaper than the Kevlar helmets right now. It doesn't mean we don't have them. It's just we wait to buy them when they're a better price. We don't go out there and pick them when they're $100 a unit. So right now a little pricey. Wait for a bit. There will be a breather again and then they'll come down perhaps. Now, otherwise, again, this is a send up to sundown operation and you are operating with night technology and of course adapting conventional night vision, correct? Yes, we are. We're going to be out there through the evening. That means if anybody has anything, bring it along. Most definitely. OK, so that's another again. If you got it, bring it along. Let's see how it works. Make sure that again you bring spare batteries. You've got a cleaning kit for your night vision. It would be a good idea to do it. We're looking all the way through to what time you'll be finishing on Sunday, do you think? We're planning on breaking around noon, 1 o'clock. So that's just traveling time for people that's got to travel back. before they got to get up and go to work Monday morning or whatever have you. So we have good distance considerations. Now do we have Ohio showing up too? Yeah so far we have Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and of course Michigan. And we're asking everybody to bring a state flag. Yep, if they want to. Oh bring a state flag along would be good. The color is representing the states and we'll mount them accordingly. We'll make sure we have a pole for each one of them. Oh I guess I forgot to text it. because we do have somebody coming all the way from Texas up. So Texas, you're probably listening right now, I better make sure you bring a Texas flag along too, kind of nice to have that in the battery when the time comes. Pack up that Lone Star. That's right, if you can leave it with us, it would be a nice loner flag. We don't have any Texas flags up this way. It doesn't mean we aren't coming down to visit again, but it would be kind of nice to know that we got, well, we do have friends in all directions. Now the other thing with regard to weapons, If it looks like it's going to be a problem for ammunition in one direction, remember if you have an AK, an SKS or an AR, of course ARs are pricing out for, you know, to shoot but still available ammunition wise. If you've got a choice between a 30 Russian and FNFAL, take your AK out this time. Take your AK or your SKS because it will be cheaper to shoot. And that's one of the other considerations is ammunition expenditure because we are looking at some live fire. And any idea, can you give us a general overview of what the live fire tasks are going to be this time? Or do you want to wait until we get there? We're going to do our usual bounding overwatch maneuver that we always do. Any time we're doing anything with new people, we always run that system through, get some use to guns going off, live rounds going by them, and it kind of settles them down. We're going to do a, what we call a team breakdown target, and we're going to actually sweep a target. We're going to do this without gas mask on, and then we're going to run probably the same scenarios with gas mask on, with the whole new twist of fuel vision that you just overlook makes things a whole lot more difficult. Everybody kind of used to running and shooting and whatever, under any circumstance. And again, with the gas masks, M10Ms, M9 copies, the M17 mask, if you do have the gas mask make sure you go over them, clean them up, dust them off, make sure there is anything that is going to surprise you. Make sure you carry a spare filter in your backpack. Make sure that the filter that you are using is secure and clean. It is not hard to do guys. If you have all the other accoutrements, make sure they are tightened down and squared away before you get out in the field so stuff doesn't rattle off or fall out of the bags, etc., etc., because we are looking at conventional combat operations here. Stuff jiggles around. Stuff gets loose. You have to remember to keep checking your equipment to make sure it is secure. The buddy system is critical. Make sure everybody is keeping an eye on everybody else's gear. Something starts to come loose or something starts to wobble off. We don't want to find it 20 feet or 100 yards behind where it needs to be when somebody shouts, yes! That's when the next thing you hear is, my gas mask is gone. Very embarrassing. Yeah, we're going to definitely rattle and shake everybody's stuff. And by the time we're done Saturday night, we'll see what come loose and what people want to change around. And you know, anytime we kind of do this, we generally see people shifting stuff around and all this just doesn't fit here. God, this thing really is biting in over here. You know, we'll find, make adjustments, and we're going to go through this again. And after a while, they're like, hey, everything's fitting real good, and it's nice and comfortable now. Well, that's what we're going to, we're definitely going to run that on them Saturday, Saturday night. We're going to, we'll probably break, you know, before, a little bit before dark, we're going to break. And we're just going to sit down and discuss during the day. So, now for those, we're not just going to bud all day long. So, we plan on having a good time at it. Real quick here, anybody who would like to participate, how can they get hold of you to find out more? RSVP is back at Hautari, H-U-T-A-R-E-E at yahoo.com. We'll put your name on the list and you just all show up. We'll give you the address and the whole nine yards to a contact number for us. That way you can meet up with us Saturday morning and away we'll go. Excellent. We have a whole bunch of work that's being completed, the pop-up targets, the mobile target tray, which is going to be rather unique and interesting. Hopefully that will work out well. We'll find out how mechanically it functions. Of course, other physical work is being done so that this thing is going to be a very significant event. It's going to be an expansion on what has already been done in Oklahoma and in Arizona. But this is a hutari exercise so it's unique in and of itself. And we are going to have camera crews there for video taping, correct? Yeah, we're going to have basically two cameras running at all times. And we're going to put a twist on things. We're going to launch a camera over the top of everything. This is going to be an actually more overhead. By springtime, we plan on actually running drones. and again other technologies that we can draw on which are going to make it well the birds-eye view to give you an overview of the situation how it's seen actually from the air assume the air threat exists Also, we can actually ID for critiquing. It doesn't mean we're criticizing. Critiquing is, well, look to see whether or not something needs to be tweaked with regard to formation and individuals' activity. Overall concepts, if they're employed, what happens when the actions are taken? Is there something that needs to be changed a little bit? Perhaps motion a little sooner? changing of a particular element so that everything is a little more deceptive, better covered or again just because of the nature of the battlefield itself. There are things that need to be corrected and this is where we do it in training operations and then repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat. The repetition is drilled in, it becomes second nature and when you are done people it is immediate action, it is immediate response. Second, guessing about it. You know what you need to do. You follow through on it. The rest is history, as I say, because it's just a matter of performance on the part of each individual, making up the team effort. With regard to the teams, you're going to be breaking down into five-man fire teams, ten-man squads. Well, yeah. We're going to run to normal formations. If anybody has such a, you know, breaks their team up any other way, that's normal. We have our own formation that we break into, which we're going to run in our normal formation. You know, the standard five man team, that's, you know, equivalent of what we're going to break everybody into. Okay, so again, for anybody who's paying attention right now, there are a number of different things to be studying up on, but first of all, familiarity with the individual firearm that you're going to be carrying out there. Now, that means taking the time, break it down, clean it, put it back together, break it down, put it back together, break it down and no, I don't mean use a hammer and a wrench. I mean, we mean actually disassemble the firearm appropriately, follow instructions. Take the time to understand and to touch and feel and move all of the working parts of that weapon. That is critical. In fact, know where your safety, know where your magazine well is, know where your magazine release is. That sounds simple. Or I've always told it, no, you need to do it literally in the dark. You need to be able to do it in such a way that even if the weapon were in your hands, your body would physically, in other words, your mind would command your hands to move in the proper dimension and to the perspective of where each hand is so that you are virtually holding the weapon even when you're not. It becomes second nature. So, we hope to do a number of make this a multi-purpose event. So we're looking at some additional night vision technology and of course other weapon systems will be available for individuals to become familiar with and actually you know get a chance to touch feel you know put their shoulder behind it figure out how it works and if you have enough money maybe pull the trigger you never know. Now one thing that people are RSVPing about is their wife by all means bring your spouse uh... bring kids i mean this is no problem not everybody is gonna have to be a full camouflage run in the course uh... your family can fit we do plan on having a time that your wife or your kids want to go to shooting we are going to let them do that because this is more just a soldier even we gotta have our families involved in it just as much Now here's the thing, I would ask is this, the basic rule, if you can bring your families, put everybody in least OD green or in something green and gray or green and brown or whatever, that way it looks pretty cool. It doesn't mean you have to be in full regalia, but at the very least basic clothing. Make it tactical or hunting tactical. How does that sound? That will be good especially with regard to young ones getting used to the idea of working into the program. I know there are a lot of guys listening that have two or three or four young sons who are talking about participating in this and they are already kitted out. Actually, they look like some young Houtariites that I have on video. My kids did start pretty young didn't they? Yes, they did. Most people don't realize it but we kind of laugh when some people make certain comments. Because what we have said before, I will say again, a lot of the people that are now growing up and becoming the hard chargers in the militia people grew up as young boys and girls watching Dad and Grandpa do it. And so they are very familiar with it is not a shock or a surprise. In fact, just reverse its second nature, which is what it should be. The militia is the property of we the people, not of some elitist little faction off to the side down the road over in Washington where they believe they should have their little mercenaries coming in from outside. The militia is the whole of the people, but you must be of proper mindset. And that's the critical issue here. We got a lot. We got an excellent opportunity. We are going to have other activities, so for wives and for the children that come in, remember that there are a lot of other things that can be done around the campsite. There are things that will be part of the classroom experience there, so nobody is going to be left out of anything. Again, this is an excellent opportunity for some range time, right? Yes it is. That's really the most critical issue there. Other than that, everybody should be able to deal with the problems. We're going to have coaches all over the place, lots of individuals with plenty of experience and time in the field. So that's not going to be a problem there. There's probably not a single weapon that's going to show up that we haven't seen in one form or another through the militia itself. So, if you got something you have questions about before you get it up there on the range, don't hesitate, don't be embarrassed, and don't think twice about asking questions. We'll come up with solutions or at least again give you an idea where to look if you need more information. There should be plenty of reading material, by the way, on site by the time we get to the 27th. So there's going to be plenty of material for the instructors, or at the very least to share with the family members so they can kind of catch up on what dad's doing or what the dad and the oldest boys are doing. That way everybody has a better understanding of the responsibility and the overall mission statement for the militia formations that we have in place. Now, let's see, we're looking at range fire both days or range fire Sunday. We may have I think we are going to have a good time in general. I think everybody is going to be definitely paying attention. Like I said, bring your mind wide open because there's going to be a lot of things you're going to see perhaps for the first time. Pay attention to the instructors. Stay focused on the mission. And remember safety, which of course first begins with knowing where that weapon is pointed. Because that's the basic rule. Now of course, you have some pretty solid logic there. When people go hunting, only half of the people that go hunting come back alive, right? If we believe Hollywood, that must be how it is, right? In reality, everybody goes to deer camp and what happens? And they all come back, don't they? I'll tell you why, here's the music. We'll be back in about 3 minutes here on Liberty Tree Radio. Hey, can you hear me, Don? That was the music. Strength in Numbers. of the Jedi masters we can find. Wait a minute, but the Jedi are all dead. Anyway, that's the whole point. There's always something new to pick up anyway and there's also a need to refresh your memory. and also reprogram your body because that's another thing too is guys you may not have been out there often i would recommend that if you're thinking about this exercise you take the time to walk a little bit right now start doing it you still got plenty of days to break in uh... pick a distance try it and the next day do half of that Why did Mark say that? Well, because if you have been walking very much, especially, and you kind of probably picked a distance, unless I didn't give you a distance, what will happen is the next day your body is going to be going, ow, ow. I want to do that again. Well, that doesn't mean you don't do it. That just means you cut it in half the second day. So bring it back up by another quarter again and then go back up by the fourth date of the full distance you originally had chosen. You will find that your body will be stretched back out, your muscles will be repairing themselves accordingly, and you will have dealt with the scar tissue so to speak. There are a number of other solutions there with regard to stretching exercises. in the how to organize and train a militia. One of the things we put in there are the basic calisthenics that have been proposed and used for a number of years for stretching to get the body moving. And this is something to think about because you're going to go out there in the woods. Now by the second day we don't want to hear this, oh, ow, oh. That doesn't mean it won't be ow and oo, but that'll be because you ran into trees, OK? Other than that, the basic rule is again, if you start working your body now, we are looking at the tenth, you still have 17 days, every day get out there and walk a little bit. I know we don't need to tell certain friends like our friends from Texas, because we already know talking to them that they enjoy jogging and walking and running a lot. So that's not going to be a problem. But just in case, if you are listening and you are going to be participating, stretch the body parts. Move around a little bit. Be prepared. Now we will have support personnel in place to help out in different ways, not participating in the field operations, but helping to make everything work. In other words, purely there for support from everything from medical to other ideas that need to be dealt with. So, for people who are not going out into the field that's not a problem, there are other individuals there who will be giving small classes or can give classes at the discretion of the individuals. If there are willing students, then there will be willing instructors on site. They're going to be there at standby anyway just to make sure everything goes well. Again, there will be an initial entrance ceremony, correct? We can work that in. Let's just say that you are talking to the head kahuna here right now. That's who Hootari is. The rest of the team of course is going to be following instructions accordingly and dealing with any problems that arise. We will also have an opening prayer, I am sure. Expect that, guys. That is something that you will find with all the militia units that you will be participating with. We have services. We are going to give proper authority to our Creator, to God Himself, and also ask for protection and guidance in the process. So that's part of the program. Expect it. Other things going on? You'll find a pledge of allegiance also. So we have a whole bunch of other work that's in store, and this is not the first, last, and only Huttari exercise of this kind. There are others that will be planned beyond this, correct? Oh, yes. So we're kind of already looking to maybe in the spring again. I think we need one in the middle of the winter. Well, we talked about a winter one, but winter training, it's a very difficult course we run through. It's not unusual to wind up having one or two people that winds up building immediately because we don't just, basically going to be doing up here in September is a lot what we do in the winter. And in the wintertime, we don't really want to to If you have solar chargers or anything else you are going to be using, here is a suggestion. Make up a carrying package for it so that it is hard cased. It can be inside your backpack and in your butt pack, but any of your solar equipment or anything that is like that, that is special optics, make sure that it has some kind of armored protection. This ensures that when it's being dinged around the woods that when you open it up you're not going to find a box full of parts instead of the one complete assembly you started with. And that is a critical issue. With regard to batteries even, remember that solar chargers, one of the reasons I bring them up, is that solar chargers can handle conventional batteries. Now most solar chargers don't charge that fast, actually, or slow trickle charge system. So even conventional alkali batteries can be recharged utilizing a solar pack and will bring them up pretty much to full potential. So that's something to take into consideration if all else fails. These little inexpensive six pack or four pack battery chargers that are made with a solar cell on the top and the battery pack underneath it are a good investment, something you can carry anywhere. You can actually just quick clip it to your gear on the outside so that it's actually being carried in the sunlight. And that way you improve on whatever you've already got on the way of battery charge if you've used it after the first night. You're bringing it back up to speed real quick and you'll have the second set of batteries almost to where they were when you used them the first night. Anyway, any other particulars? I would ask this. Probably what we should do is let's go through the whole schedule top to bottom again and requirements because some people have tuned in a little late and that way we haven't missed anything. Well, basically the equipment requirements, you know, it's going to be the gas mask because this is going to be an extended, you know, we are really going to push the gas mask in this training. I prefer it nighttime, running into limbs or whatever. You'd be surprised with folks full BDUs. Definitely load-bearing equipment. If you think you're going to wear it in battle, then wear it in this training. Caliber you prefer. Two to three hundred rounds for the exercise, plus ammo that you're going to carry, you know, on patrol, whatever have you. Basically, we're going to do the sniper shooting scoot. It's going to be a 200 yard shot at a moving target. We're not going to make this real simple and easy on anybody. You're going to crawl into your position unnoticed. You're going to take your shot. You're not lolly gagging all day because we have other activities we're going to try and do it too during the day. We are going to do live fire records, bounding overwatch. We're going to actually move and we're going to break teams down to a most week through the target and reform back up the other side of the target on a live fire. And we're going to do the same thing with gas. So, I mean, it's like, bring your tent, because we're going to be spinning overnight. It's just going to be a busy day. And it's where we have camaraderie, where we have you, and everybody a little bit of a break. Don't get out and do that 19, 20 year old kids on steroids, we're trying to do. Another point to make you guys take on the end of your SK, or AK, or even, you know, when you attach a BAN S to the end of your AR, or your M6, it's no longer a knife. That means, you know, if you've got a spike, in particular this is a more targeted address here if you've got a spike on the end of your AK or SK or whatever that's not your knife you know what I mean that is not your K bar that is not your knife that is not your personal edge weapon something that works out there on the end of your you know you there was a time mark I went into the woods with a K bar and and cut down a tree literally whittled down it whittled down a tree you can do too much of that with a bay net on your SKS, are you? That's right, that's right. That's the point I'm trying to make. The right tool for the right job. And this is something I don't think we've ever actually brought this up, although we've talked a lot about edged weapons. You know, the knife and the sheath, even if it fits on the edge end of your gun, it's right in there. You'll have another knife. If you have a spike on your SKS, you need a good, strong fighting knife. Again, there are a number of different options there right now. We've got plenty of time to prepare for this, so there's no excuse not to have the material, the equipment in hand. There will be some material support on site by then, so that if there's a need, some things can be replaced, and even can be repaired. That's something that we were already discussing with somebody about. uh... because of the fact that something can break something to malfunction it would be kind of nice to physically be able to repair the stuff properly rather than have to worry about improvising so uh... again uh... there will be some support personnel there specifically for that purpose uh... something happens up breaks needs to be fixed something is m i a uh... or you know again falls off and needs to be repaired in some way the idea is not to have to just simply fumble With make-do, the idea is to actually have the material in hand and the repair kits. That's not that hard a deal. Actually, most of the stuff has pretty well been collected. So that will be available on site at base camp when the time comes for personnel to use as needed. So we're working on that. Sewing kits, another thing real quick guys, should be in your gear already. You are out in the woods, you are going to tear stuff up. I tell you what, you have time to sit down, you can talk and sew at the same time. Fix it while you are in the field because that is normally what you would do. The first rule is you check your weapon, you make sure your weapon is secure, you make sure your weapon is flawless, make sure it is clean, it is functional. Then you get on to other business and you always maintain control of and secure your personal firearms. No matter what they are with you you are useless without them. This is a very common error that usually is corrected used to be the Old gunner the old sergeant platoon level used to walk around and watch for people who'd leave rifles laying around I Think the top sergeant got over there. He ain't looking too happy fact. He's got he's got a whole shoulder full of them We're not going to have that happen because everybody's going to maintain control over their personal arm. Hootali, what about personal firearms such as handguns? If you want to bring your handguns, I mean there's no problem in that. We're not really going to set up a course too much for handgun use on this one. This is mainly just battle rifle, team, you know, patrolling, you know, stuff like handguns. Part of your gear that you wear, well then by all means carry it. Here's another point for your gear. If you've got the body armor, bring it. Wear it. Get used to it. I know some of it's going to seem kind of heavy after a half an hour, but how about after half of a month? Yeah. Well, don't worry. You'll be much lighter. Don't worry. The calories will be disappearing. They'll be up. Like it says in that advertisement, they'll just be falling off your body. I mean, if they plan on wearing this stuff whenever Then bring it to this training and you'll find out whether you really want to include it into your gear or not. Yep. Exactly. The armor isn't light. It serves a purpose in particular niches, but it isn't something that necessarily is going to keep you light infantry for very long, especially if you become heavy infantry and then heavier infantry after a while if you're not careful. Because of things you keep adding more stuff, you got to get used to carrying more weight. So this is a chance, again, training operations, training exercises for you to actually adapt your equipment, find out how it's best suited for this type of operation, and then act accordingly. It doesn't mean you toss the body armor out. Like I said before, we're going down the road. You know who gets the body armor first? If you're a vehicle? Oh yeah, I'll give them two vests. Why? Because if the driver gets killed or if the driver gets hit and can't function, you all stop in the kill zone with the driver. not to mention where all might come to a crazy stop. Good chances are, keeping the bad guys out of the way. So we want to keep doing that. So there is a place for you, at least using armor. It helps to, again, enhance armored trucks, light armored cars, mechanized forces. There may be a situation with assault infantry or with heavy infantry formations, but again, those are special application situations, and each formation has to choose. is body armor is going to be really handy for those guys when the mortars or whatnots start falling around them. Plus some days it's nice to have the stuff just because you never know when yours aren't going to work right. That was embarrassing. But again, it's a consideration. So we do have a lot of work ahead of us. We are looking at a great exercise. About rations and food. Follow up on that real quick for everybody. Well, we're going to provide a meal for Saturday night, but you're going to bring your own meal for lunchtime Saturday. You're going to bring your own breakfast Sunday. If you're going to hang around past noon, you know, we probably will be hanging around for a while if anybody wants to use the range after afternoon. Bring some food for Sunday lunch. Saturday night, we are going to cover that. It's going to be something off the grill, even if we have to. There you go. We're having a small cow tonight. One less eagle. That's right. Then there would only be six beagles left in the world. Since we know there are only seven total. That one won't be bothering anybody. You're getting a free meal anymore. There we go. There are only seven beagles. One takes off and the guy who hears the one barking away, the next guy standing there that's the next victim, hears the same dog barking towards him. That's how it works. Most people don't get their beagles by buying them. They get their beagles by finding them. We usually see him running through the woods while we are out there. There he goes, he is looking for another owner. Anyway, there are a number of options here again too with regard to your combat load and your house load. So, pack your equipment for food, pack your equipment for long term operations. In other words, that backpack, if it has space, if all else fails, throw more things you can chew on in it. Why? Well, you don't know how long you're going to be on the ground. Let's assume the worst and we won't be disappointed. But also, that's how you would be going into combat. You're going to jam everything you can in there. Don't worry, the backpack with every day is going to get lighter. After about 4 or 5 days you are going to wish it was getting heavier. That's right. Trust me on this. There is nothing like having 120 men starving in one place. Do you know what? A bag of red licorice got opened up by a person who was hiding it after we were all starving for God knows how many days. I am going to tell you the sensory perception of all of those people, even though they weren't downwind, was such that everyone could zero in on that little bag of licorice. Even though I didn't have a taste of it, I could taste it from 100 yards away. That gives you an idea when you're hungry. Of course, cardboard looks pretty palatable too, along with other things. Again, going over the too numerous to mention, the point is carry what you can, carry back up with regard to food tabs, there's a bunch of other stuff people have picked up. No, they're not exciting, but there are ways to add food supplements or, again, concentrated food components to stretch out your ability to operate in the field. As was said, remember, if you see it, you might actually snare it, you might shish kabob it. But you will be collecting food on the way to supplement your rations. This makes your rations go farther. Don't shoot the neighbor's cow. Right. That's not a deer with short horns. Or the sheep. There are some sheep out there. That's not a sheep. That's not an Angora deer. That's a sheep. We might want to do quick instruction. I don't think you have to, but just joking there. Quick instruction. Remember, cow, sheep, goats, Don't forget the pigs, they're pretty obvious, but they're still tasty. Someone might take a pod shot anyway. So we're getting close to the top of the hour. Anything more we need to cover and or anything you recommend? No, I think we've covered pretty well everything. They can physically do this. Now again, yes, we want to start tuning up right now guys. You need to walk some distance, pull out your backpack, and that's another thing too. Throw your backpack on combat load. That's not even with your load bearing equipment, just your backpack. Do a short walk with it for the evening. Not very long, just a short walk. Get out there a distance and then head back home. And tomorrow morning your body will remind you of what it costs to carry a 60 pound or 70 pound backpack for a little distance. Now you're going to have to do that a little more often than that when the time comes. Let's kind of build into it. One more time, if they want to RSVP Huttari, they do what? I'm going to be back at Hootari, that's H-U-T-A-R-E-E at yahoo.com. We'll get back ahold of you, give you a contact number to get ahold of us, give you the address, and the whole nine yards. Excellent. And of course, you will respond immediately. Yes, we do. And for all of you that are listening, hopefully this gives you an explanation. It's Weapons Wednesday and most important, we are preparing the most critical weapon, the mine. We've got a lot of weapons systems and equipment support that are training that's going to be taking place. For everyone out there, make sure you square your weapons away. I don't want to see any rust on any firearms. There is no excuse for that. Don't pull it out of the case and go, well, it looked fine when I put it in there seven months ago. OK. It can happen and we have seen it before. The other thing, do a complete inspection of your arms. If you are going to carry the handgun, go through it top to bottom. Make sure you inspect your ammunition. Make sure that all your magazines are where they are supposed to be. Check the followers. Make sure that again, minimal lubricant but lubricate everything so that it is ready for the weather because we are going outside in September. September, actually, guys, that's only a few days from November. Oh, I'm sorry, October. There we go. Mark's getting ahead of himself. Well, October is just as bad here in Michigan anyway. And it really is only a few days from November. That's right. It's only a few days away. So we're going to get towards the end of the month. Well, thank you for coming up. You're welcome. And again, we will have you back. What day would you like to come up again? We'll do next week Thursday. Excellent. Very good. Thank you very much. Okay. And as always, God bless the Republic. Death to the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. Both day and night. Ooh, raw. Six-pan X, kick him down the road, give him a backpack full of... Oh, that's right. Die-bold voting machines. Tell him you're white. You just pull the pin, they just keep blowing and clicking, blowing and clicking, but they don't do anything. That's right, exactly what you're supposed to do, nothing. Anyway, they'll get halfway back to the sharks, but that's about it, and we don't want the dye-ball machine back, so we don't worry about it. Thank you, Doc. That's what the larger you choose.
