The ashtray of the Volkswagen joke. Yeah, yeah. Oh, my goodness. Can't forgive me. Wait a minute. All right, today, please. Oh, yeah. Right. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent, although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper, so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number, you've traded in your name, you've given government control to those who do you harm, so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm, and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail, harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear? and be a slave. O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and eat God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each god-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free? I'm Michael Nasser. trying to do Tuesday. No, isn't that okay? But that's good. It keeps everybody on their feet. Everybody looked at the calendar real quick. Wow, wait a minute, Meyer. It's okay. And today it is Tuesday, so it's Communications Medical Tuesday. And also we're covering a lot of other subjects. Um, well, here, you know, Mike, you had some stuff we wanted to pick up on right away. So go ahead. Yeah. So we were covering the last week about night vision and there's one other thing that I'd like to mention. Uh, they're working out at night. It's always important to keep an eye on the skies and the cloud cover and the changing things and the moisture I'm sure we've all been around an area where and then you have headlights on on vehicles or something and then the moisture stuff and you'll get that big and what that does is that reflects the light back on to the object that puts the new charge mind and again you have to be careful as at night we don't always look on clouds and look at this have a tendency to be focused the ground to make sure that we don't walk into a barbed wire fence. Out at night, you really, really have to make sure you're paying attention to the moisture content of the air. Because as the moisture starts to get that halo effect, and then if you've charged your head and it's making it a very important tie-in to the night vision and the moisture content of the air. So just tying that in too with regard to the how we see things. Remember that secondary wash from so many different objects even with conventional night, just your regular organic night vision is is easy to pick up once you're adapted. So a lot of times what we call light discipline it becomes very critical. Some people think that well after all I'm only using a little LED. Have you seen the power output on some of these LEDs most recently? I know even though it's a red light it can still be seen and so there is another technique that's used with for instance the old angle head flashlights, you might recall you had a cream color. Now what this did is it actually could be used under or over the clear colors that you had, not just, you know, it could be also used for signaling by itself. But this would mute the color that you have by reducing the amount of light that passes through the shell, the green light. But remember that wash off something, bounce off something, the moisture in the air. How about laminated mapping? laminated equipment that you might have or for instance plastic screens. It can be shielding. It could be even lenses on glasses. Keep in mind that those actually can be seen quite easily. Once your night vision is adapted, you become just as dangerous to somebody, or I should say it can be as dangerous for you if you're not careful, if somebody else is knowing what they're doing and they understand what they're looking at. It's critical to night vision operation. You need to practice on this. That was one of the reasons that Mike, your exercise was designed the way that it was so people had a chance to do that, didn't they? Yes, we did that and then we showed them how to do it and how to conduct their own classes, but it was all around. Now, here again, sharing knowledge. One of the things to remember when we have a training operation, if somebody has input or has a question, do not. And I must stress this because we have a lot of exercises going on right now. Two things I'm going to state. Number one, we don't laugh at a person for asking a question. Does everybody understand that? If a person is asking a question, although we might chuckle because maybe we've heard it before and people think that we're going to go in one direction with it, we have a personal joke between ourselves. But we don't laugh at the student for a question, and we're not going to ridicule them because everybody is at different levels of experience. And even though you actually might be a real rocket scientist in one area, you may just simply not have had the experience in others. There are people even in the military for years. And I'm going to tell you, this is one of the things that I specialized in an op-for, is we trained in foreign weapons. We trained people to handle and use all of these weapons that they'd all seen from a distance. They all knew the other side was carrying. But some men, for 20 or 25 years of their career, not once had handled any of the weapons that they were probably going to face or had actually faced at one time or another. On the one hand, the men were very competent in their respective areas of interest. Had no application experience with regard to those systems, those pieces of equipment that would be critical to their life, actually would be part of a life and death experience. And so it might be kind of handy if they get a chance to see, A, how they work and know how to use them just in case they get their hands on them in a situation where it's all they have to work with. So again, we start with the basics and we start with organic or in other words, human system. A lot of people I've heard say, well, I've got a, I'm going to have night vision or I'm going to take their night vision. Of course we're going to take the night vision. I'm going to strip the food out of their mouth. If I feel as necessary guys, they're eating it. I know it's safe, right Mike? Yes. That's right. They're testing the food for us. I'll take it right out of the space. If I thought that would, was what needed to be done. But the point is that I'm going to know how to use what I have for All of you out there listening have skills. Some are better than others. And this has to do with organic skills. Some people's hearing. Why do you think you've seen all the... If you ever had an APS test, a lot of you will remember that you went in there and they put you in a little booth. Ever had that happen, guys? And they had you raise your right hand to your left hand with your ears? Why do you think they did that? Could it be perhaps because, hmm, they wanted to see how confident... Certainly, once you have full hearing anyway, it would be kind of nice. but they're also testing your frequency reception. Remember that? Well, tell us, you know, raise your hand when you can hear it. Some guys are, oop, right away, it's like, what the hell is he listening to? You know what I mean? Realize, oh wait a minute, there is a sound there, wait a minute, just down the edge of the brain, you raise your hand. Well, what's happening there, guys, is they're finding, they're testing organic skills that will become very handy once the person is in uniform. And some people, they will press into certain service. specific activities. This is also true with interpretation and perception with regard to, you know, for instance, just how we receive data because radio technicians, people with special skills or certain need that they have with certain MOSs, military skills, that person's perception will be useful, that particular trade. Well, the same is true with the militia and how we operate in general. A lot of you guys are perfecting skills or techniques that you will use in the future. Or you might use every day. Guys, you don't have to flip the yard light on if you know what you're doing. In fact, just the reverse. You close your eyes and you flip the yard light on. What would we do that for, Mike? Would we close our eyes and turn the yard lights on? Because we'd blind the enemy. And then we shut them off and we'd come out what? We'd come out fully dark adapted. And that means that the hunter becomes the hunted. See how that works? In fact, that's one of the things they don't explain. Actually, I supposed to use star shells, guys. The star flares aren't necessarily used by all of your team to illuminate the battlefield. It's designed to disrupt anybody who's approaching your defensive grid. Their night vision is in trouble. Meanwhile, example, one of the tricks is 50% of your people will close their eyes when a flare goes off if they're ordered to do so. Pops up, every barret stop. Those that were using their eyes and observing during the flare of their eyes and the other group opens theirs almost immediately. You can also use signals, whistles, electronic, total observation while the person who was on the attack, well, once the flare goes out, they're now stumbling around in the dark and they haven't hit all your booby traps, your fishing line, your treble hooks on the fishing line, your tangle foot, your barbed wire that's just below the grass. See how that works? All that stuff that when they hit it, boom, oh, pop. Oh, I guess he found one of the mines. So again, it starts with the basics and that's what we're doing. Now we do have, by the way, coming up shortly, again, for our friends who are listening on some of the big stations too here, September 27th and 28th, the next exercise. This will be in line with the same type of training event that Mike sponsored in Arizona and Alpha Omega in Oklahoma on the 27th and 28th. Tactical operations with Hautari, H-U-T-A-R-E-E, the Hautari militia. They're one of our Michigan units very very well trained to go to hutari.com Check out their website. That's hutari h-u-t-a-r-e-e dot-com and go to tari Yahoo dot-com send them an email for an RSVP to find out more about You can get a conversation with them. Also, you can go to Liberty tree radio Liberty tree radio and then go to our chat room We have people in there right now and Houtari may be right there or they will be if not this hour. They'll be in there during the 8 o'clock hour. LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com and then punch into the chat room there and say hi. There will be a lot of people present and Houtari should be there bringing everybody up to speed with what's going on. One of the most important things with this exercise guide is required equipment. Of course, your basic web gear, your house load, your BDUs, a patrol cap, preferably a booney. But also, helmet and gas mask. Helmet and gas mask. Go repeat, both helmet and gas mask. You want to get a Kevlar helmet, that's fine. To be quite honest, if you look around, you can probably piece together an M1, forgive me ladies, piss pot. The old M1 standard for World War II, Korean, Vietnam. I have a whole bunch of them and I ain't getting rid of any. That would be fine. Standard US steel pot. Make sure you got a camouflage cover. That's not that hard to do, guys. and uh... make sure that you've got a gas mask uh... gas mask model that's up to you in fact we would recommend whatever you were thinking your your planning on using We recommend that's what you carry with you. Now there are M10 masks out there. Also the copies of the M9s and many, many others you choose. By the way, Maine Military Surplus is a sponsor. MaineMilitary.com. Go there, they've got masks on hand. You'll be able to pick them up that way. But you need those even if you're not going on this training exercise. You know, Mark, how Mark feels about that. We got Mike and Mark at the Intel Report. It is Communications Medical Tuesday. We'll be back in about three minutes and we the people. for your network. Ladies and gentlemen, we are back. That is Poker Face, PokerFace.com. This is the Intel Report Live. And we've got Mike and Mark. Now, I'll tell you what. One of the things we have to look at here, guys, and Mike, you dealt with this with the exercise, but we're going to stress this, and it is a critical health issue on bad troops. Real quick, dehydration has killed troops in every war. The American Revolution uh... several of the actions especially the summer months literally brought the troops to a standstill laying down the cornfield laying down and i will not hiding but just looking down because they were just flat out exhausted with record heat and the nature of the clothing and of course stifling conditions of the battlefield so water was critical this is also been true in many many other actions uh... and everybody calls it uh... men died trying to get to the water supply get to the river right below them with the reno's troops died horribly in some cases by the way because they were desperately in need of water and dehydration was the issue and everybody there knew what it meant what it would represent. Now you ended up of course treating a situation like that. Yes the casualty it appears that they were drinking some of these vitamin mineral fortified nuts to be confused with an energy drink but it appears that they were drinking those and think that that's all they were relying on that they weren't having a proper adequate intake. Going through the training it was on a Saturday so we had been up there a Friday Saturday so we were you know three and a half two and a half three days into the station and said that maybe we give the people an extended and under the trees and talking about some things and asking him if he was okay and you know he'd given the right answer checking this Paul's 20 over 90 in the urine. He got a casualty blanket rafting in that and got some water. It wasn't until the next morning that he started making urine. It was sort of a little touch and go. I think he's 10, 95 degrees. And you know, this is not to ridicule or to make an example of, but this is just a lot of times people associate with heat and especially here in the desert. And from down here in the desert up to, I don't know, we were somewhere between eight and 9,000 feet thinking that they actually have to cure urine when you go to the bathroom. It needs to be, shouldn't have any strong odor to it at all. And you know, when you're not making any urine, then that's an indication that you don't have a problem. You got to keep those kidneys open and you got to bang them open and you have to have a lot of water going through and really make a difference. Usually as a rule of thumb, we're already a court and we had stress before again in the morning that downhill and away from where we were in an open facilities there. And I just sat over there and get into an embarrassing moment because there were no facilities there. Sorry, they didn't take them and then they were out there to the range for about in the afternoon at the end of their cycle. We needed to get back and instead of just coming back and having some lunch and taking it easy, they needed to Mark. you know, like at least tons of water. Well, there's Montana, and it's like I tried to explain. Guys, they fought water wars out there. Does everybody understand that? Well, they got out there, and lo and behold, then there was much limitations because it turns out that, hey, guess what? The nearest water was measured in tens of miles away. Happy camper then. Well, again, the basic rule is try to consume what you carry in, but not part of your combat load. That way it's always on the up. It's always on the plus per equipment. Here's another recommendation, and I've said this many times before. Use your equipment from the farthest point back. Now people see this, it's not easy to reach. That's why you use the buddy system. That's why you ask for assistance, okay, from the people that are with you. That's why you will work together as a team idea, guys, okay? So keep in mind there are little things that just have to be done, but what you do is use the farthest equipment back If you're in a combat situation where you take fire or you're starting to, you know, in other words, get pressured, you can reach is still use. People make this mistake. It's just like magazines. As you make initial contact, especially if you're the ones who are making contact and you are farthest point out, start with the magazine usage from the farthest point back on your web gear and work your way forward. You can use the more readily accessed magazines. That means it will take time to cycle your weapon back up and in service. Same is true with your canteens and anything else you're going to access but all possible again bring extra water in with you use that off base camp first for operations there don't use your canteens you can refill them if you do if refill them as quickly as you possibly can but make a make a point of doing that in whatever way possible. So many weeks old it came down to help with the radio program. I was open too. So we have a new litter of cats so people other than the Chinese restaurants there's not an offer there but we may have a new little litter to send out across the country to help change the gene pool a little bit in the feline category. Case in point again is learn from the mistakes. those people who had that little problem over the weekend with the training exercise that Mike's talking about, do not become frustrated by that. Learn from it. Remember, that's typically how people learn. Daddy said, don't touch the stove. Somebody touches the stove. Well, it's not good that you touched it, but chances are, Mike, you won't do it again, will you? Tell them you're not to do that. Well, we can again, keep people up and online. Now, the Huttari exercise, mandatory that you have both a helmet and mandatory that you have your gas mask with you because both, one of them is going to be an extensive tactical exercise where everybody's going to have to use it and if you don't have it or you lose it, you are a casualty. That's all there is to it. Anyway, we're at the bottom of the hour break. You got Mike and Mark. We'll be back here with Liberty Tree Radio and we the B-Pole Radio Network in about three minutes along with my new helper, Mike. Are you losing precious sleep on these long hot summer nights? Are you paying outrageous energy bills trying to stay cool while you're sleeping? If so, have I got great news for you. We're bringing you a lot of good information. Other times we can take these things for granted and all of a sudden there's no more intel report and then you want to send all the emails and everything about what happened to the sponsors. So please, please, just coming up, go ahead and buy some of them. Give them to your friends, give them to your relatives. Again, living here in Arizona, a lot of people live here, have a that it's just about can be 110 degrees and we can go up to Flagstaff late at night and you have a tendency because there's the grass and the meadows and the trees and you have a tendency to not think of your heat injuries and your dehydration because a lot of people associate heat injuries with times when you're not paying attention that you're not drinking enough and it's just as easy because your body when your body is burning a lot of calories So you're going to actually have watching these things so then you're not drinking enough and you're getting where you know you want to even you don't even really realize it. So you can watch your urine, it's true. I don't know a leader you got to put it in that you're not taking in enough and also if you and that's usually in that you're at least a quart low. So you need to drink and they have to be eliminated and if there's not enough flu acid it's much easier to at a time pre hydrate before You're going to be doing some strenuous activity. Wait until you're a casualty. And again, this is not to touch a point fingers or anything like that. But we can use this and we can all use this model of how easy, all right. And they keep going, oh yeah, I'm fine. Or you ask them, hey, so if you ask them a question all about, well, what time does Rocky and Bullwinkle come on? Then you know that they're not right there. So you. That's an indication, but we have again, it's that buddy thing is to where you know You're watching out and you're watching out and you're watching out for the other people in your team The medical people are looking over everybody. So it's a group effort It's not that we're just out here all by ourselves and we off it out and we can do it and everything You know, don't don't be all thinking that you can just I can do it. Don't bother me I'll be just fine. Oh somebody hydrate before you go out on guard duty then just go ahead and do it or if you're going to go to the range or something just go ahead and do it and you know drink a liter of water and take another liter with you and and then you'll be fine but try not to be all stow and that you're better because especially in these rooms but again where it's getting pretty chilly at night then your body's burning up a lot you're going to get yourself now again with this uh well i'll remind you i've seen this so many times it's either like in cold weather where you have both dehydration and an issue of perhaps, well again, hypothermia and fraud, by not moving as efficiently and attention, they lose tech with the body, can let things go as 35 to 50 pounds of equipment. You're carrying a seven to nine pound rifle, lots of extra goodies in many cases. You're also buttoned up. You might be wearing body armor. By the time you're done, guys, you're boxing yourself in quite nicely and you're exerting a lot of calories. because it's your cooling system. It's going out through sweat. Minerals are leaving too. In the process, what happens is the body compensates to protect the center of the system. This is where when you ask a person a question, Mike, you ask me, how are you feeling? And I go, heh heh heh. Now, later on, you can ask a person, what were you saying? Oh, I was talking right to you. And when you get him back up in the morning, you say, no, no. But he could understand and everybody else would usually chuckle because, nope, couldn't understand a word you said. I have a clue what the hell you were saying, but you know what, we knew you were in trouble. So before it gets to that point, again, individually you have to have the discipline. You have the working knowledge now. You have to have the discipline to maintain yourself. Now, here's the other part of the deal. Fireteam leaders, that's your job, yes, your mom, your mom and dad when you're out there and you're a fireteam leader. Your job is to pay attention to your people, to look at their response, be familiar with the team. For the squad leader, it's the same way. But your squad leader is counting on each of his fireteam leaders to do their job. But that doesn't mean the squad leader isn't paying attention, because, hey, sometimes the fireteam leaders are so busy, taking care of and moving the team along, that they may not watch what they're doing. That happens on occasion. I gotta, I'll wait, I gotta take care of some other stuff. I'll wait, I gotta take care of some other stuff. I have seen this before. So again, each person kicks it in and helps the other to make sure that they're up and online. It's not that we think you're incompetent, the fact that we are going to make sure we are all competent at our tasks and that we have the time that we need, accomplish personal maintenance, the team effort continues. Water discipline is. It's just like everything else. It's part of the team effort, but it has to be individually taken care of. Consider this. One casualty, either because of hypothermia or frostbite, dehydration, whatever, my kid doesn't knock out that one man, does it? No, it took three people to treat that person, and all in all it took Think about that. And I've emphasized this in writings. Anybody who's read the Battle for the Republic series knows that I have brought this up in roundabout ways because it is... And I guess, no, I won't say anything yet, because I've got an afternoon out there. But the point is that we have seen many times situations like this where a person is going to, I just got to be there. Now, I can understand that because there are certain situations where you may just have to grab in one run with what you got. However, there's no excuse at this point in time for us not to be up to snuff. We lose things in a combat situation. We have to abandon equipment. That'd be one thing. But right now, there is no excuse for you not to be carrying enough water. And now that you know, if you had to, if you experienced this because you thought one thing was going to deal with a problem, but it has to be balanced out, you can add mineral substitutes or mineral supplements. But what you need to do is make sure you're still throwing enough water in the system. My policy, again, the Australian school, I carry two one-court canteens on my basic combat load and that's in addition to supplemental water that I carry as separate carriers. And then on my backpack I carry four additional individual canteens. My policy on that is one canteen gets hit, I don't lose all my water. Something gets a hole in it, someone loses a lid, at least I've got the other canteens to back it up and I'll have to make sure I do right the next time. Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to the last segment of the second hour of the intelligence report with Mike and Mark. We were talking about dehydration, proper liquid intake and everything. One of the important things is layering of your clothes. I'm sure we've all heard about it. You have your t-shirt on, you've got your jacket on, and then maybe I have a sweater, and then you'll have a field jacket depending on it. So you don't want to have just one big heavy coat. And then you can either take that off and then you get cold and you'll put that on and you'll overheat. So you want to layer. And there's also ventilation. If you start, if you're moving around, you've got your 25, 50 pound backpack on, you start getting a little bit warm. You're starting to perspire pretty good. Even if the weather is off of your shirt, unblouse your boots, you can either even on your trousers and that'll help prevent some of the heat coming of your legs burning in there hot and you need to stop. and then they can like want to readjust your things as you're going along a street. It's either that you know you can't take something off so for a break they're all overheating and things I know in the desert a lot of people overlook it is to where that you're going to be hot all the time and sometimes at night at night the thing that I found is go out to your garage sales and get a great big big enough is where you can put your LDE on and then you can have your off of that and usually you can have that there and it's h Oklahoma or Arizona or m like that. You may be in a different environment this certain climate and all of that area detrimental to you. a couple empty water bottles and a pair of socks. But it's really easy. Load an Alice pack and it might be nice to have it. If you've got a train to bringing you water, you're going to have to get a, chances are you're going to be carrying anywhere from equipment. And then you need to get a bigger backpack off the bat. Start off even if you're going out and you get your body used to it. Go out and do the yard work or leaves or something like that. Get your body used to that. So bending over to standing up the lules and things. and whether it's a rifle or a rake or a shovel. And then, you know, then add something else to it, a heen, and then keep your body acclimated. Have the backpack and have that stored. Use it then to be ready. It's gonna be awkward and lopsided and you're not gonna be, you know, you're gonna have, have a carry load of weathered gear in your backpack and anageable. It's gonna put on a 50 pound backpack and walk. Wherever you've done that, then try handgun. And another thing, is once we've gotten up on there and when you get up into back we can't carry your LBE so as an alternative you have that idea to have a chest pouch, that's some everything. Something else that you need to integrate into your system to pouches on there big enough to carry a water maybe a having it all ammunition in that way then if you're hiking along then you don't have to stop you don't have to take off and then get down into your backpack handy and it's available right there. And then each time you put your backpack on, then you're going to have to readjust the shoulder straps and the sternum strap and the waist belt and drape the LBE over that with the pocket and teens out. If you get to an area and you're going to set it back and then you can put your E on the connoissements back and disseminate the information global. But it's something that the Alice pack, your LBE and have your Alice pack on the amount of equipment that you can actually carry. You know, I have a couple and if you're found in there, you're really going to overdo it and you're going to start getting a lot of back strain and shoulder strain. And down there, there's really nothing to support the load. Putting it into an ALIS pack, then you have a tendency, you want to cinch into the day, your shoulders and your chest is just screaming from. To the equipment itself, remember this is ergonomics. Adjustment is the issue. Finding something that fits you. One of the advantages we have as militia forces, as to some of the other gear, if you have new people coming in, of equipment ready and on hand and to see what fits the individual. This is another technique we can do. Just want to tell you whether you're going to use this or else in the basic training phase, which to a degree we have to do also because we have to get everybody online as far as you're on the same page. Progressively though, we improve accordingly depending upon the individual's needs. We have different ages. That's another thing that's taken into consideration with these types of operations. So we have to adjust the loads accordingly and sometimes we prioritize the ultra light for the people who need it. I'm a little young, but still a little on the muscular side. So I can handle or deal with some of the older gear that might be a little heavier, but it is durable. But it means that other people we can prioritize the lighter stuff too as it becomes accessible. Anyway, we are at the top of the hour. Thank you, Mike, for being here. Say no sweat, Mark. Appreciate it. As always, God bless the Republic. Death to the New World Order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run, and we are on the march, both day and night. More water, people. A pint is a pound. The world around you have to calculate your combat load accordingly. A pint is a pound. Well, with water, lots of water, more weight carried. See you later, and we'll be back tomorrow.
