Getting ready for school with Walmart and Hannah Montana. A new grade, a new school. A new school? We are so ready. How about geography? Please, no problem. Yeah, bring it on. Trying out for the school play. Bring it on. Yeah, bring it on. Don't just get them ready for school. Get them ready for anything with low prices on Hannah Montana fashion and gear at Walmart. Feeling like a rock star? Bring it on. I am a rock star. Save money. Live better. Walmart. Live 365. Also on pbn.4mg.com and we're on live 365 then go to Liberty Tree Radio. We're also on AM&FM micro stations, CB base stations and ultra net technologies both east and west of the Mississippi and Alaska. In addition to that of course we're on other systems too numerous to mention. Today is the 14th of of pickle eggplant, or not the Parmesan, and things of that nature, which are always wonderful. Eggplant as a meat substitute is really wonderful. We have that. The apples, our summer apples, are coming off very thick. Blueberry production, and we're right about the peak of the season for blueberries right now here in Michigan. We also have Gooseberries and our cucumbers are beginning to start to wind down now and the tomatoes are picking up in production and they'll probably peak in another week or so. And again, one of the things to remember is that we've got a lot of food production that is available, both wild and domestic. We've got conventional gardening, but right now For instance guys, you've got all the Thunderberries, you've got the Blueberries ending, well Blueberries ending, Thunderberries are kind of at the end. Gooseberries are out there in the wild and we've seen that there's been a mass production of those this year. Plus we have a number of other systems that are out there with regard to commercial productions that are right now hitting the beginning of their peak. They're going to be cranking out tomatoes from this point forward. You need to be shopping around to look and see what you can find for canning. This is a critical issue because with all of the discussion about the E.A. wars overseas, which I'll bet will be brought over to here as wars in America, the kosher mafia is in the middle of this thing with Georgia. They are continuing to demonstrate that they are mixing all this stuff up intentionally. It is not a fabrication by accident. Oh, we did this so we will do this. No, this is all progressively been planned. It is now being orchestrated by the spiders behind the scenes that have come out and pushed aside the front dummies. Food production is critical. We need to make sure we secure that. We need to make sure everything we have got is properly stored. You need to have replacement technology because step one is to have the stuff on the shelf. Step two is once we are finished with this next year and we go through this next year's usage, do you have the ability to do it all over again? So you need your canning supplies on the shelf, you need to make sure you secure it so everything stays clean, everything is dry, and you need to use it rather than lose it. In other words, you've got to keep producing and using what you've got and cycling it through. This is especially true with your food production. Make sure that you calculate how much you're going to need. Nancy, we do that every year with tomatoes and such. Well, that's one thing that I've asked people to do, is keep an accurate record of what it is you use in the end of one month, even a week period, a one week period, two weeks, as you go through the month. Because you're going to rotate what you eat, it's not going to be the same every day. And we understand that. But to have that as a base for what it is you use in a month for your family to feed them. And it's different in the summer than it is in the winter. So you want to keep an ongoing balance. Know what it is that you are using. Be it rice, wheat, bread, cheese, milk, whatever it is, make sure you have an accurate tally for the end of the week. When you go to the grocery store, if you're going to the grocery store more than once a week, don't just keep, keep an excellent way of checking what it is you are purchasing for food. Even down to the snacks at work that you get on your break. If you're picking up a candy bar or whatever, keep an accurate tally of what it is each individual is using in the family. So that you have an act of what it is you use in that time frame. Because if these things are no longer available, then this is something that you're going to have to supplement. You're going to have to come up with a way to bring up those calories of what's being used or what it is that your family likes. Which is something that I try to move toward because when you keep the people fed and happy, You have a better reception of your ideas and the way that you want to get things done. That is something to do. You take that week, if you're going to just do a week, that's better than nothing, and multiply that times four, that gives you a month, and then multiply that times 12, that gives you a yearly balance of what is necessary for that month or for that year. Another thing, if you have access to the Latter-day Saints Relief Society, preparedness book. For them, the preparedness book gives a general one person each year. Another way to look at this too, if you go to emergencyessentials.com, they have a basic pack where you can purchase a month supply. What they figure a month supply of a person's intake will be for that month. It's generally $2,300 per person for a three-month period package that they put out. And there are many other places around the nation that do that that supply the meat, vegetables, be it freeze-dried peas, corn. This is an excellent way to go. freeze-driedguy.com is another way to go in which they have also the proteins, your pork chops and freeze-dried meat, beef. pork, chicken, and also the TVP, the Textured Vegetable Protein. Very important things to have on the shelf. Another thing that you're going to find there is your dairy products. Another good thing to have, but what you have and what you can grow yourself if you're not expending extra money to do is this, because it's something that you can control. OK? So canning your own own product, whether you're drying it and putting it in jars and sealing properly, bags, whatever, or if you're wet pack canning, which most people are more familiar with. You want to make sure that you have enough on the shelf to get you through to the next growing season. If you're talking protein and you don't have a farm and you don't have a way of raising meat, that is going to be a real problem for you. You need to make sure that you take advantage of the sales at the local grocer's or Sam's Club or whatever. Be careful when you go to Sam's Club that you're not buying too much because they're monitoring through your club membership, how much you're purchasing. As we saw during the Waco Siege, they knew exactly how much was purchased for the 168 people there for whether it be a week or a month, I'm not sure, but about $1,000 purchase in product for their use there. Be aware of that. Know that these monitoring systems are in place and part of that is that lovely little credit card, debit card, things that the bank supplies to try to get you away from cash purchases. So if you've got an excellent sale, say on ground beef, that you can take and cook up and put into canning jars and put away, do it. You know, you can do that. You can do that with the The chicken, again, is something you can do. You can cook that up and can that. Make sure that you are following a canning process and a good place to go for that is the Ball or Kerr Canning Books. Those are readily available at most grocery stores. The department store is hardware. are readily available. That's a very good place to go for these things. I think I've got an old cookbook as well. It's really old. It's right at the turn of the century that goes into the use of canning there and preserving using everything from sugar to salt. And again, the drying process as well. If you have not dried vegetables and meats before, it's a wonderful way of saving space and time. Meats that you do, as in jerky, I would suggest that you vacuum seal those and then seal them up into jars or also into cans. I'm sorry, I thought I heard someone. Anyway, this is something that can be done very easily. If you have any questions about drying, there are several good books out there. Dry It, You Like It is one. I have several here on hand. A lot of times they will also have in them directions on how to build your own dehydrators. a very good thing to have on hand. From a small box type, the smallest one I've seen in plan form is about 18 by 18 inches with a computer fan in the bottom and just a regular flood light to use to heat the box to dry. And it works very effectively. If you have even a smoker, A smoker will do wonders if you're drying thin pieces of meat to flavor the meat as well as dry it. Very effective. Mark? One of the things to remember too is that there are a lot of plans out there, a lot of ideas. You can go through different sources, search the web. One of the things right now is we're going to have a bounty coming in, but we've got to be ready to process it. Phase one is whatever system we can use now, but drying in all the different forms possible are going to have to be one of the substitutes that we use as canning resources become less and less available. Now another little trick there by the way, once we get past canning lids guys, the next step you're going to be looking at is using wax or paraffin, beeswax or paraffin to seal the foods. I'm old enough to remember my mom and my grandma using other techniques without using canning lids. back in the day because these were other techniques that they used because people couldn't even afford the canning lids. So they were used to it. So the thing is the techniques are there and the store bought version versus off the shelf innovations. Okay, and other things that people had developed themselves. So there are other solutions. When we get done, step one is we're going to be using the canning systems we have. Step two, drying, which of course then just requires conventional, any container we can put it in. And then wet packing with other techniques, especially with jellies and other types of pickles or jellifying techniques that are used for even vegetables, which is something that's been done in the past. And that's another area that people need to look at. Well, talking about older techniques and technologies, getting back into even Civil War era. They didn't have paraffin, they didn't have canning lids. What they had was fat. Fat was used to seal a lot of things. Goose fat, now if anybody has ever baked a goose, cooked a goose, no there's a lot of fat on that goose. The renderings were used to seal the jars. Take that fat and cap off. Everything was basically pushed down. The fat was used to cover everything up. You know how today you go out and you find the jars and they've got all these pretty little foofoo cloth covers? Those were functional. That was to keep the rodents and flies out of the jars. That was a cap and they would tie those off with the little strings or little twine. insects and whatnot would not get into the fat and then into the product. The same was true of those areas that had plentiful butter. Butter was another source for use to seal it off because once it got cool, once the butter cooled, it became hard, much like paraffin because it's a grease type thing where it gets hard. The same with pork fat. The pork fat will go rancid. after a period of time, not readily, if it is rendered properly. So taking the lard, which you now see on the shelf, that lard, if you notice and you go in your grocery stores, is not refrigerated. It sits on the shelf and is shelf stable. So you can take lard pig fat that is rendered properly so that all the impurities are out of it. blood or anything left in it. It has been rendered out and it is in pure form, sits on the shelf indefinitely folks as long as it's not compromised in any fashion. So that that can be melted and again put on top and that was done for thousands of years before the technologies of paraffin and canning lids ever came to be. So, again, we have other solutions. There are concepts that are available, actually, just concepts, applied systems that can be used. And that's why we want to bring it up real quick because, guys, we're on the edge of having to deal with a lot. I'm getting reports from all over the country, and I physically have seen, the crops are looking great. Now, we know what they're talking about when they're talking about food shortage. They're going to create a food shortage. That's not a surprise. What it is is foreclosure on food reserves, just like they foreclosed and stole the gold years ago. They are going to do the same thing with every tangible product when the time comes and food is a commodity. So be ready for that and be ready with alternate solutions. We have butter knife waiting in the wings. I think I hear him there. Oh, well, let's see. Now, you see the problem is when you have a whole bunch of guys named Dave, it's like when you have a whole bunch of guys named Mark. Okay, well, we actually, this is Dave from Hootari. And Dave, I'll tell you what, give us an update. What's happening with the training exercise, please. Well, we got people RSVPing us back. We're just about 28 people right now. People want to get in on this. capacity we're gonna be able to take on we're hoping not many more than forty maybe fifty atop basically we're looking at uh... about put to the plus weapon section uh... forty-five forty fifty people but if everybody's quite a way we can have this done and ready to go in a very short period of time and uh... one of the most important things is that everybody be squared away before you get there we don't there is no excuse to be partially prepared for this exercise correct well whenever we hit the ground brogare rally up at eight thirty all saturday morning all whenever we go in the are going to be ready to go it's about the camp tent down in by nine o'clock we better be get in the field we're not going to get people are not daily daily or ready to go. Pack your equipment as if you were going to deploy in an actual scenario. That's how you should be training. Better to have too much than not enough. Also, remember we're looking at September. The dates will be the 27th and 28th. It's going to be a dark night. If you have night vision, bring it. Anything you think you're going to train with better make sure you have along for the ride because if it ain't there you can't all the time out let's go back it won't take a few hours I gotta go get something if you don't have it you can't use it that simple yeah remember this is Michigan so in September you don't know what kind of weather we're going to have we could have 95 degrees on Friday and it be 60 degrees come Saturday morning so Well, down only that, in September it can be hot during the day and at night get bitterly, bitterly cold. And guys, it is Michigan. It could even be snowing by that time. That's true. You're talking that dirty four-letter word again. Snow, it's like having Bing Crosby here every day when you're in Michigan with snow. Oh no. I'll tell you what, a little point on that in September, training operation years ago, we're walking along and we had a nice day to begin with. That lasted about two hours. After two hours, we're walking along and it's a solid, constant drizzly, penetrating, swain. One of the guys goes, oh well, it could be worse, it could be sleeting, and of course the next second it starts snow sleeting. So we're walking along for another hour and of course we've been involved in other activities and we're still the same formation and the same guy goes, well it could be worse, it could be snowing. And the next minute it started snowing. So really snowing, the big lake effect, the big thumb sized snowflakes. Well the last thing after another hour he said, well it could be worse, it could be flash flooding and we left. No, we didn't leave, but you know, it's like, man, step by step by step. No! At that point, you pull out the duct tape and shut him up. That's right. Everybody went out. I mean, that morning it was like 70 degrees. It was beautiful. It was a wonderful fall day and nobody went prepared. Except for one. Yeah, well I always carry all the junk I need because after all I'm crazy. But wait a minute, then of course people are getting soaked to the skin and I always have all my pockets jammed with everything. So somebody's hands... Extra gloves, extra socks. So everybody's using the socks for... they got their dry socks, use them for gloves because their wool liners are already soaked wet and all their other gear is soaked wet. Then their gloves are soaked, their mittens are soaked. Wait a minute, their socks are soaked. Well, by the time they're done everything is wet to the bone. So we've got to make sure you carry your wet weather gear, make sure that you've got your, again here's the basic rule, you've got wooly pulleys out there, your commando sweaters. That's what they're... You can carry them and put them in your pack if you need them you got them you put them on Long johns same thing guys they're lightweight gear they are gonna cost some calories to carry But you know what you got them if you need them for night operations and another thing we're gonna do is we're gonna protect our noggins on this one aren't we Dave Yes, we are we want helmets because whenever you do our night off We don't want nobody being knocked out and having to drag them back to base camp because they smack the good sized limbs and see them Oh my head doesn't bounce as good as I thought it did. Oh this hurts. We're going to prevent that again. It doesn't have to be a Kevlar helmet. In fact, hopefully for this exercise we'll have a shipment of helmets brought back up that will be on hand so we have enough in service. We do have a number of pots already in place. And yes, we have Kevlar helmets too. We've got to look like the bad guys if we want to get close. So, you know, we have Kevlar, we've got steel, both of them work. Even a bicycle helmet camouflaged or, you know, painted OD green will work just fine to keep you from getting your beam bumped. Okay, so the idea is that we're not going out in the woods without the proper equipment because it's, you know, basic protection. Another thing is chemical defense, correct? Yeah, we're going to make sure we have gas masks. We're going to do an extended training. We're going to actually do some live fire maneuvers with our masks on. ever going to get a little bit called what you're going up right it's set at a proper dangle dot kind of a little thing we should be training for we don't do on a regular basis but we're going to get to it now go ahead and give all the contact numbers and uh... the information by the way they can also see who tarry videos can pay what you know you go to all who carried it to keep you a r e dot com and we have all we think to our you to video rsvpfback at hutari at yahoo dot com at hukit a r e at yahoo dot com and will put you on a list of all meet up but training maybe some at the couple probably doing right now and if they want to rsvp again what what the uh... the email point at hukari hukit a r e at yahoo dot com at yahoo dot com Uh oh, and you're the vicious pack of canines behind you. Oh yeah, that's what vicious... Alright, well actually you know, we have a philosophy. I have the big dog to catch them and you have the little dogs to finish them off. Well they do a good job. All they do is bark a lot and let us know when everybody's around. So... Beep, beep, beep, beep. And ender trip. That's what their job is. They're tripwires. Ender tripwires. They're real cheap to feed, so... small people in black uniforms and never once in a while they are happy. You only have to feed them a finger rather than feed them an entire leg. That's right. Or the soft chewy parts when they drop to the ground. Remember that. There is nothing like having 200 small piranha type dogs attacking you relentlessly. Oh, you might brush the first two or three away, but after a while the next wave gets you. two hundred little bienertogs attacking all at once all the pain the pain or anyway uh... we're going to work it close to the break right here back i will probably hear the music any moment i stay with us dave and remember again guys that this is the twenty seventh and twenty eight of september and uh... we want everybody square away top to bottom give you any ideas you can take a look at who tari's uh... site at which are a You can also check out the videos and technical information we have on Liberty Tree Radio's page at YouTube. And we have links too. So I'll tell you what, Dave's here right there and Nancy's here with us. And this is the Intel Report. This is the 8 o'clock hour. Back in about 4 minutes. First time you tried it can give you the blues But take my words you can call and you just keep on talking news Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning, day, morning's for good Every morning, morning First time you tried it, can give you the blues Take my words, you can call on your views I'm talking news, baby Every morning, morning I'm talking to callers in their views And drive a man crazy Only his disgust in the news It has been a pretty busy day, got a lot of stuff done. Also, a quick reminder for our friends that are listening out there, a bunch of packages departed in the mail today, so watch your mailboxes. We've got a massive number of the PM-810 and also the PM-28-D8 Colonial Marine Militia Rifle Marksmanship and Data Books. Those things are in the mail, they're on their way to everybody. When you get them, take advantage of them right away. Also, a bunch of info for our friends who are asking for contacts. That takes time in some cases, depending on the state. So be patient there. In the meantime though, we've got Dave from Utah here. Dave, go over everything again so everybody understands here. Some people tune in just at the bottom of the arc as they get off work. We have a training exercise coming up on the 27th and 28th of September. If they want to get hold of you to find out more about participation, they need to. You are going to need to have whatever the standard rifle is that you are carrying. Again, you can talk with them about suggestions there. Load bearing equipment and again your house load squared away because you are going to be bringing along your shelter by spending the night. In addition to that, remember we are combat worthy provided we have all of our equipment on board and the gas mask is part of your defense preparedness system. So you need a gas mask. With regard to the gas mask phase, there's a reason for us doing this, right? Yeah, generally we put our gas mask on, we all look at each other for about 10 minutes, and yeah, this is impressive, and we all learn how to put them on and take them off. It's no big deal. This training, we're going to put them on, we're going to wear them for around two hours. We're going to do some live fire maneuvers in them. We're just going to make it so you're going to be sucking through them filters and breathing pretty hard. Let's see who gets across the full weekend. you know we're gonna make sure nobody passes out we're gonna keep it you know co-founder everybody and uh... if you get to the point you get a little exhaustive where that you know let somebody down all the thing off and again people getting a chance to find out what works what doesn't uh... the social gives you a chance with practical application uh... too okay where you're talking about you know where people get fatigued and take it off time that that person understand that okay from this point on you're going to have to learn be it a daily or a weekly, bi-weekly thing that you put it on and you get to where you can wear it a little longer each time. And the thing is too that what you're doing with your training is also teaching people what it's like to wear that mask. You're going to have to breathe a little harder just to sit there. So if you're running and shooting and doing other things that are more physically active, it's going to be even more difficult. And that's a terrific point of training that you're doing, Dave. And kudos to you guys for taking this on and addressing this problem. Now another thing, you also have some... Go ahead, Dave, I'm sorry. It's something that, you know, needs to be addressed very heavily. It's something we ourselves have not at least wear masks for very long. And, you know, we've worn them for half an hour or something like that. And around, ran around, physically be shooting out of these things and wearing them for that period of time. real heavy. After a while you start getting a little claustrophobic, something we have to learn to get. Anybody that's had an MRI or MRA, where you've been in that tube and you have to lay perfectly still for 45 minutes knows what claustrophobia is. What that can do to you, but to have this on your face and not be able to get out of it. That's the thing people need to realize, because you take that off in a contaminated environment and you're done. That's it. You have to get out of that environment and if you're in a situation, you have to be able to do so and fight your way out of that situation. It's going to be very, very likely if you're in a concentration of smoke that's been deployed. If the agent is being deployed, if there's any kind of CS, CN, Capcium spray, or any chemical agent or biological agent, you have to assume that the aggressor is going to follow up with ground action. I cannot stress that enough. Let me give you an example. We've been talking about this on the air for the last couple days, but for many months and years, as a matter of fact. The militaries right now that are fighting on the Russian front, oh, did you hear that? The Russian front Hey, we have a Russian friend again, Dave. How do you like that? Yeah, well, we've been kind of watching that. It's amazing how every time we see something to do with the Georgia leaders, we keep seeing more and more of the US and Europe. And you can see that this is nothing more than the western part here of this world pushed our agenda over there in the Russian area. Right. You know, I can see the Russians getting peeved off and checking us back. About time, I guess. Well, I'm kind of surprised that Georgia has always been an interesting area in the Soviet Union to begin with. They have been through a number of trials through the history of the Russian development as a country. Well, the thing here is that here's one of the most important things to remember about the face-off here is both sides trained under the Soviet system. Both sides have a specific series of dogmas or schisms that are attached to their militaries that even with external influence are not going to change very quickly. One of them is to train in the offensive with chemical, biological, and nuclear ordnance. In other words, you drop the material forward and then you move through it in the attack. Now, most of what you are going to experience in terms of forces that are here in the United States that are going to be aggressing against the American people will be operating the same way under the logic that there is going to be confusion. More and more we have to emphasize understanding how to deal with this particular threat and how to engage accordingly when the time comes. At the very least, if you can't do anything else, it's know how to extract yourself from the environment. Now, let me give you another example of that historically. We had a thing called Breeds Hill, which everybody calls Bunker Hill. We did a great job of building a fort there. The engineers actually did a fine job of building up quick revetments. They dug everything in. Everybody put on their fatigues. Oh yeah, we had those back then. Put their fatigues on, dug in the positions. But you know what the single mistake was? It wasn't the quality of the defensive position. It was a fact that they only allowed for one exit from the fort. And when the British pressed the attack, there was massive confusion trying to retreat from the position to extract themselves from the fortification. Now the same is true kind of like that with a chemical attack. Typically they're going to try to channel you. If you are not prepared with chemical defense, That channel is typically a kill zone, so what we need to be ready to do is move through the environment just as the aggressor plans on moving through the environment. Now, as we all know, guys, one of the options is wade right into them and start plugging them at point blank range. Of course, that's not the first best choice, but it actually works quite well because it's something they don't actually anticipate. That's the least expected of the actions that they have. expect to take place? Because you are competent enough with your equipment and you have confidence in your equipment so that you will move forward. So that is one of the reasons for this particular element of the exercise this weekend. And again, there is going to be very heavy staffing to ensure that they monitor the activity with regard to the live fire shooters that are going to be participating. There is going to be a coach management system in place. to ensure that everybody keeps everything downrange. We have a very high safety standard. We expect everybody to maintain it. And for all of you participating, it means you're going to have to stay focused. You're going to have to think. We're not worried about you, how pretty you look, okay? In fact, just reverse. Pretty soldiers usually don't fight very well, okay? When they look pretty, you know, everything's spiffy, well-cleaned, well-polished, chances are they haven't been doing a whole lot of things in the field. Our militia units are combat units. They are line units. They are infantry. They are combat infantry. The idea is that they plan on going in, kicking butt, taking names, and coming out with whatever the other guy is carrying and making sure that they outfit and equip that many more people. Well, we've got to make sure that we know how to use the gear we've got to do that. So each of the phases of this training exercise are designed to engineer and to build up your confidence in your equipment and obviously proficiency and experience because we've worked up phase by phase now through this and a lot of you can do this at home as far as basic preparation goes. But this is a chance for many people to participate in a more advanced variance on the training that's necessary to stay alive on the battlefield. Dave, go ahead and give out all the information again. I'm rubbing this in for a reason. Some people didn't have a pen. Now they've got one. And the paper. Oh, that's right. Something clean you won't lose. No, we don't want them to back up an envelope you're going to throw away. Make sure it's something you're going to keep. And Dave, all the information. One more time, please. OK, well they can RSVP us back for September 27th and 28th. Hootari, H-U-T-A-R-E-E. Yahoo. If they want to check out, see kind of a little bit of what we've already been videos we have a link at QTAREutari.com. Let's make sure we're squared away and we're ready to play. The Huttari member is another one of the militia guys who just tagged along. If you have to pull your mask off, you are a casualty. We will extract you out of the zone and you will go back to base camp. We're not going to have the whole team come evening and never sitting around. We are going to extract you. We're going to do just like we're going to be in. Keep that in mind. Again, check and inspect your masks. By the way, for this exercise you don't have to use one of your high grade filters. If you have special NBC filters you can always carry one with your kit. But using a standard NATO filter or whatever filter variant you're going to be using will be fine. In fact, an example, some of you may actually be using the Israeli Civil Defense masks. Now, for training purposes, they actually make and it performs the same draw. It actually creates the same vacuum issues. You still have to wear the mask. There is a white cap. It looks like it's about the size of a 35mm film canister, but it's not. It has a thread on it. It has a hole on the end. That's designed to simulate exactly the same draw that you're going to experience off a gas mask. So, the advantage here is you can actually save filters if need be. Now, don't ever throw anything out that you get with a gas mask. Everything serves a purpose. And a lot of people got those and just didn't know what they were, so they ate out the door. Well, they actually did have a reason for them being there so that you could save money while still training effectively. If you're going to train with your masks, and even if you're not going to be there for this exercise, remember, you can train with the masks while still preserving the integrity of your filters by utilizing this cap accordingly and applying it to the exercise. Sorry about that. One thing I would suggest for those that if you can't make it there, get your mask. If you've got a treadmill, put it on. Get on that treadmill. Start running. It's going to give you an idea of what it's going to be like to be out in that field at a good pace where it's not run, duck, hide type things. You want to get out there and you want to run. You want to exercise with that mask on so you get a feel of what it's going to be somewhat like. That still is not going to get you to the level of what you're going to get. The adrenaline rush of actually being out in an exercise against another team. This is something that you need to experience and be part of if at all possible. But if not, start your training. You can do it in your own home every single day. You need to build up the lung capacity necessary to use the mask effectively. And you can even start that right now before we get into this exercise too. Another thing, if we have people who are medics or medical support personnel, Dave, they can participate. In fact, they're very, very welcome, aren't they? show up. That's one area where we can, by all means, determine welcome. Well, we might actually be able to lure Dave, I should say, well, Mike Nasser or one of our other friends from a little south of us here, or way, way south of us. Let's see if we can get him maybe up this direction or one of our friends may be from Oklahoma. You never know. It's a little short notice, but they're not too far away. We came and drove down that way to visit. Maybe they can come up this way to visit us. Right. Still, there's a couple people here that worked with back that would be very good to have on hand that aren't that far away. Give a couple people a call about this, the medic team that Doc Robinson was with. That would be a very good start because he trained them extensively in how to deal with things in the field. So that will be a good thing. And another thing too, those people that are extracted out of the field that give some practice on what they would do, how they would have to deal with those individuals, as well as when they're done with that, then perhaps giving some medic training in the evening when things are over and through. So this is something to think about so that training can go on. It doesn't have to end at the end of exhaustion time. Now again, we are looking at full kit. We're looking at basically your home load. This includes your tent. Make sure that you have your, well, if you're using a sleeping bag, you're using blankets, that's personal choice. Wet weather gear is a priority. Some cold weather gear, just to be safe. Again, intermediate. Remember, you wear cold weather gear in layers anyway. You shed during the day and ventilate if you get warm. You still shed and ventilate to a degree at night if you're moving just to make sure that you don't overheat. But still, it can be pretty cool. We've had a cool summer in general here in Michigan. It's a warning for everybody. So by September, we can pretty well figure that she's going to be knocking down a few ratchets again. You know, click, click, click. And the conditions will be accordingly probably wet. Probably cool to cold and you never know, might even see some snowflakes. September is not a surprise, we've had it in Michigan before. Usually the end of September, and that's what you're talking about that last week, generally we have frost warnings so it will be getting down pretty darn cold. So understand that. the upper 60s to the mid 70s range. And sometimes even quite a bit warmer, if we get an Indian summer, then you're looking at 85-90. But at night, if you've got a clear sky, it's going to get cold. Understand that. And it might even be a little uncomfortable. So be prepared. That old voice got added. Really, you need to do that. You might even want to think about a heat source. If you're so inclined. But other than that, be prepared for all possibilities because you don't know what you're going to run into. Not in this state. The weather, blink your eyes and it changes. Folks, as far as weather here. Dave, are we all set? Anything else we need to cover? No, I think that does a pretty good job there. Very good. I'll tell you what, you're going to come up again. We've got to have you up on a regular basis, keep everybody up to speed. with what's going on. We might want to contact off the grid girls and say hi to them. There might be some people through off the grid girls who are going to want to be plugging in this direction too. I think we're going to do what we can do to help out in that direction. Sounds good. Thank you for coming up. Appreciate that. You have a good night. Okay, God bless. That was Dave from Huttari and we're going to make sure we bring all kinds of other Well, we've got this event that's coming up, plus others that are scheduled. Now, real quick, for everybody that's listening, remember if you need a gas mask, there's a couple different directions you can go. Needless to say, we're going to try to pick up a quantity ourselves. There are other sources. We've got Maine Military, which we've mentioned a thousand times. They're a sponsor for, of course, our other programming during the earlier hours. But they're also a good source for a lot of stuff that, in general, is available. Now you can get hold of Frank at 207-924-5258. That's 207-924-5258. Or you can call us sell at 207-5579642. Get a hold of the store, get a hold of Frank at his cell phone 207-5579642. and what they have, for instance, the M17 gas mask bags in the Cordura, there are only a few of those left, I mean a few. Chem suits, I understand, are the price that Frank quoted, he's probably looking quick at his charts. It is $11.99 for a set. These are DPM camo. They are sized or should be sized by now so you will be able to tell what it is they have on the shelf when you call. You ask them for a certain size range, chances are they have it. But there are only so many of these suits left there. DPM camouflage, top and bottom for $11.99 a set. They also have M17 gas mask hoods, $2 apiece. These are brand new in the wrapper. Buy extras, get an extra one at least. Get one for the mask, one to have spare if you use an M17. Now they have the European knockoff of the M17 gas mask. It's the M10M, also the M10. In this case it is the M10 check variant. 3 for $30 and these do come in sizes. 0 is extra small, 1 is small, 2 is medium, 3 is an upper medium. 4 is large and 5 is, you got a big head and it's extra large. Okay, that's not a problem. I don't have any difficulty with that because I want the right size mask on the person. So know the sizes, know the variables. Now 2 to 3 will handle most people and even if you're bigger, yes, you can make the mask work. So that's one of the options. They are sizing the M10s that they get and should have a good idea of what they have on the shelf accordingly. Now if you have the finished copy of the M9 gas mask and you've been looking for filters that are the original filters as far as the size of the intake, there are M11 filters that are in the peanut can, the gray blue peanut can, brand new sealed, $4.99 a piece, Again, those are the M9 gas mask filters in the peanut can. They're the Mark 11, the M11 model, $499 apiece. He's got only so many on the shelf and they're gone, people. One more time. Main military, 207-924-5258. That's 207-924-5258 or 207-5579642. Now there are a number of masks available through CenterFireSystems.com. Nope, they don't advertise with us in any way, shape or form. In fact, they just kind of let it ride and do what they're doing as far as we're giving them some business, a lot of business. But needless to say, if there's something useful there, grab it. They have the finished gas mask three for about $20 and they have the check mask too, but I have double check to see what the price is off hand. Either way you'll be able to access a gas mask before the exercise. Now there are also Israeli M15s out there. Good combat mask military pattern. There is Israeli Civil Defense mask, good mask, work just fine. There are a number of others out there people, if you got it and it is already in service, hang on to it, keep it, buy more. If you are thinking you want to change masks, no you don't get rid of what you have. You keep what you have, it is called force multiplication. This is your way of expanding your supply base. More is better. Remember, they're insurance policies that you possess. You don't have some third party involved with them. Now, we're at about $8.57 by the atomic clock, but we do have a couple of things real quick. Manuals. You want to understand or basically get an idea what you're going to have to have and to be ready to operate on the 27th to the 29th. Get hold of these three manuals, these three PMs. The first one is PM 8. It's how to organize and train a militia. Price is $5 plus stamps. The next one is Militia Field Manual SOP. This is PM 10-08. Cost is $7 plus 6 regular stamps. The third manual is for rifle marksmanship and for rifle marksmanship development. It's the Colonial Marine Militia Field Marksmanship and Data Book. This is PM 28-D8. We had another one that's not printed yet, but don't worry about that. We've got PM 28-D8. Now this is again basic rifle marksmanship covers all the statistics, spec information, concepts with regard to how to use the sights, and it gives you a chart book for your range activities, which is a plus plus. I would use it in pencil and reuse it over and over again, unless you're using it for a log book for your reloading, and then I would buy more than one or make copies, whatever you're going to do. We'll have additional range sheets for when you're out there on the range. So, if you want any of these, you will send a check or money order made up to Nancy, last name K-O-E-R-N-K-E to PBN P.O. Box 194, Dexter, Michigan 48130, again that's PBN P.O. Box 194, Dexter, Michigan 48130. Then we will shoot these to you as quick as we can. Remember to check her money order if that's what you're going to do. Make it out to Nancy. Last name K-O-E-R-N-K-E. We are just about at the top of the hour. We have other PMs that are going to be out very soon. But these will get you started or at least get you pointed in the right direction. Now we haven't reinvented the wheel. The basic information is in these manuals step by step to include how to use hand signals, But also how to set up your kit, your uniform, how it should be squared away, the basic concept. And goes right on through, top to bottom, the way we operate the field. All right, here are the music. We are at the top of the hour, as always. God bless the Republic.
