Mark Koernke opened the August 12, 2008 morning broadcast with weather observations and preparedness reminders, then announced upcoming militia training events including a tactical operation at Hutaree on August 27-28 featuring live fire and gas mask training, and Knob Creek range events on August 11-12. He discussed trade coffee as a barter commodity, explaining how to store small coffee packets in sealed containers for long-term preparedness and currency in post-collapse scenarios. Koernke covered ammunition reloading history from the 1970s-80s, the importance of policing brass casings, and night vision equipment availability. He emphasized the need for generalist skills, adaptability, and readiness in response to what he characterized as coordinated bad-actor timelines, and condemned recent incidents of law enforcement using force against civilians at shooting events in Colorado.

And speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. Brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free. And home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken, you've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail, harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children and fear and be a slave? O sons of the republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the supreme law of the land. Preserve our great Republican each God given right and pray to God to torture freedom as I awoke he'd vanished in the mist for once he came His words were true not free, but we have ourselves to blame For even now as tyrants trampled each God given right We only watch and tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms He'd fought to keep would be your answer If he called out from the grave, Dill the fan did the freak. Beautiful day Don, what day is it? 12th of August you guys in California getting home from that midnight shift, catch a little cat before you go to your second job. Again 12 August and it's a great day here. You know there's hardly, it's one of those days that it's great to shoot in the morning you know almost exactly no perfectly calm outside it was perfectly calm last night it has been very it's been super clear we've got this over north hey August wait a minute August 12th we're not supposed to get this September kind of weather in August kind of interesting climate change Yeah, and so much for jumping up there in the grass skirt with the bone in your nose. On unka, wonka, unka, ooh, with the obsidian knife and the wild eyes. You know, like Elgore has me, he tells you all about what it is he plans on doing to you. I mean, for you. Yeah, well, I'll tell you what, it is a beautiful day. I mean, there's no doubt blue sky last night was to see the stars forever. The meteor shower time of year, Mark. Yes, we are. As a matter of fact, in fact, I, that was somebody that was going to mention, uh, You know, last, not last night, two nights ago, I was out late and we were doing a little patrol and, you know, walked the area. I saw one type I've never seen, almost like something with wings coming in, in that it was wide, the V formation, as far as ways to put it with a bump in the middle, like it was a fuselage or something, but it's interesting, and that's exactly what it looked like, is something out of some of the, you know, computers. The fliers were on either side, it didn't stop for quite a while. Some time it came in from the east and across the northern sky and just north of us from that large horizon, yeah, from horizon to horizon. Very impressive. And of course it wasn't really super fast. I mean it was as fast as any other shooting star but not that fast. This went through pretty interesting, whatever shape it was, whatever it was. Many rocks, other rocks coming in all night, mostly the same direction but from other random directions too. We've had a lot of activity. is we have a really, we call it yellow dog weather. You know what yellow dog weather is guys? You ever gone by and seen that old yellow dog laying on the front porch flopped on his side with the eyes kind of half open but he kind of closes him again and all you hear is as you go by. Well that's what we got. You know yellow dog on the front porch syndrome here. That's the kind of weather we got, sleeping weather. But it is otherwise very nice and gonna be good for work. outside everybody out there listening that's in our neck of the woods guys get up because we've got roof work to do you got yard work to do we got stuff to do out in the garden we got a lot of garden work to do we got some really good looking gardens but and they're producing the wash just like everything else there's a lot of product on the plants now whether or not we'll get through because the way this season's looking we might get early snow but That ain't going to be a problem for us because we already got our mobile greenhouse mechanism made up and other systems. We're going to be covering everything up for the season. We've done a little differently in the past, but we're going to do it this year, Don. We're literally just going to take and cover the whole garden with another greenhouse and see how far we can run it. That's going to be plus our buckets and everything else. We're going to be rebucketing things, bringing them inside or moving them into a more rigid greenhouse too that we've got all the parts for here. So this is going to be an interesting season, but I think it's going to be a chill one. As we said a year ago and two years ago, when we all did the global warming, we're all going to turn into raisins. It's like, well, I'll tell you what, whatever. It sure as hell don't get them goofing up through that, but we sure as hell didn't. So we got what we need. In fact, we got extras. I make a point if somebody else wants to get rid of this stuff cheap. make a point of grabbing it whenever we can. Lots of stuff out there available. We'll check the surplus points. That doesn't mean it's going to last forever. Remember, one of the things about talking about surplus is that it's surplus. If you see something you like, grab it and get a few extra. It ain't going to last forever. That's one of the other things that has to be kept in mind whenever you're dealing with surplus such as mittens, gloves, steel jackets, If it's something why I really like that one. Well if you like it you want to wear it for a few years or wear something like it for a few years. You're going to want to pick up all the extras you can now. So it becomes available. Remember you can equate surplus and usually with a little camouflage pattern. Beautiful morning we have. Eleven our time but it's 7-eleven way out there on the west coast. So here come on wake up it's time to get up. Let's go come on get out of bed. Oh no I don't want to. There we go, there you go, you got your legs over the bed. Door shut, ooh, plop plop turn, plop plop plop. First, see a light in the kitchen, and there's a, wait a minute, wait a minute, there's no noise in the kitchen. There's nobody in the kitchen, what did you do? Oh, that's right. For some people, it's better that the wife be over visiting the mother-in-law than the mother-in-law be over there visiting the wife, because that means they'd be visiting you too. Now, for some people, that's a problem, but for others, it's not a bad thing. However, this morning, guess what? Do you smell something? It's called air. There's nothing cooking. Well, in order for you to have a cup of coffee this morning, you're gonna have to get your hind end in gear and get to work. That coffee pot, yeah. You didn't set it up last night. What a goo. Okay, now this morning is not a good thing. So while we're talking, we're gonna keep you busy. You're gonna have to run around the kitchen, do all the things your wife and I were doing this morning. Oh no, you can't be because you gotta do two jobs. See, kinda handy to have your wife around there, isn't it? Yeah, I hit you side to head there, yeah, huh? So anyway, you go make the coffee, and we're going to work on other things today because we're going to keep you busy and we're going to keep you awake. Okay, grounds, okay, come on, thank. There you go, coffee maker. Coffee maker, you threw the coffee maker off. You wanted a boiled coffee. Guess what? There's this whole list of things you've got to do now. Oh no. In the right order. That's right, in the right order. So anyway, while you're doing that, we're going to bring you up to speed a few things of course uh... now we do have uh... a bunch of activities going on around the country are coming up the other case first of all timbered on we have a tactical operation here in michigan they'd be taking place the twenty seven and twenty invite uh... rsvp uh... you have to have an rsvp in place so what you need to do if you want to find out more you listen here from the michigan area You can get hold of Hautare, H-U-T-A-R-E-E dot com. The militia unit that is hosting the operation. Go to the website, you'll see all the information. It will give you the places to go and what to do. And then of course you'll be scheduling for the 27th and 28th. Now, this is all live fire, so remember you need ammunition obviously, but you're also going to need a gas mask because you will be using it and you'll be using it for operations. This is of course very critical in these phases of training. There's a Don, without a gas mask, familiarization, it will take a bit of time getting used to, doesn't it? You know, a lot of claustrophobia was mentioned yesterday and that immediately brought up a situation. A lot of people that want to be skin divers, scuba divers, They want to do that and they go and take the course and they put that mask on and they get in the water. Their whole world, as far as air and connection with what they've known, is reduced to those cubic inches of mass and that sensation of water. And they put up with it, maybe they struggle through the course. Let's say they get through there because they've forced theirself, really, really want to do this. And then they get out in some place in Michigan or Pennsylvania in a lake where you can only see about three feet. They never go diving again. claustrophobia right there, you know, is closing in on me. And the same thing happens in a gas mask. Sometimes wearing a mask is nothing, you know, you've already got beyond that. But I bring this up as example, and it was brought, but this is something that can't be ignored. This is the percentage of the populace. It's not something that, well, gee, I'm just gonna live right in this world without previous experience, let alone fight in. Well, it's interesting too, as you said, divers, people who are involved in firefighting. people who work in a frame back to some strange but even people who work in uh... certain environments as plumbers okay uh... you have to be able to work with the respirator at different times and there's a lot of guys that have a great tough time with that and just to with regard to dealing with it so it's one of those things where you need to familiarize need take the time and work with it you're going to have to wear perhaps a given point we want you to train with the equipment you have so that you know how it works so this field operation uh... probably best example is going to be not just for fuel put mask on stand around for a minute human it's very going to be a technical operation was to be about a two to three hours non-stop uh... uh... phase of uh... operating with the mask in the field and that includes a live fire which is nothing most people have not had a chance to do in fact Most soldiers that have been around or have experienced or had known that they have not had a chance typically to live fire with the mask on, even the active military. So we've done this on a regular basis for many years, but this is an advanced phase. Many people are going to be given very specific training so that they'll be brought up to speed. And again, we're reaching another plateau with regard to the training phases of both of them. different militia here in the midwest and this is happening all over the country uh... one of the things to use with gas masses with children now you don't make it a serious event you go for a row i've done this for years people will she's afraid of the gas mask or he's afraid of gas mask really Well, treat it like something fun rather than, oh, you've got to wear it. Instead, play with it. The gas masks typically look like elephants, is what they look like. Ooh, so play around that way. Yeah, elephants. Elephants, especially with the hose on. Like if you've got the Russian defense masks. So that's the way to do it. You get them to play around with it. Everybody else, put it on and laugh about it. Don't do the, oh, you've got to do this. Don't get serious in that situation. Just reverse. Children will find out that the masks are no big deal and they'll learn to use them. In fact, the younger they are when they know how to use the equipment, the easier it is for them to work with it. When they get older, they're growing with the gear and that's important. It's just like rifle. It's shooting using a firearm. It's the same way. Teach a person young, see standards and they live with them all their lives. Fortas live with them all their lives. The idea is to impress those safety standards upon everybody participating. So that's one of the other reasons for these training operations and the 27th and 28th You want to find out more, go to hutari.com and you'll find all kinds of interesting conversations going on in their little ongoing chat room too. Because of course they've got people, well we just need over and die. Well we're not going to. Of course now, for those who want to roll over and die, feel that they're going to, yay, ejection seat out of here and you know, that arrogance of leaving us all to deal with the problems, ha ha ha. Well I'll tell you what, will you sign over your car and your property now? and by the way your clothes and whatever else you got, you know, you're back to count too, go ahead and do that. You don't really need it. Lillies of the Field Syndrome. We're going to help that out. We're going to create this place called Lillies of the Field, I mean, Lillies of the Field Sanctuary. And you'll have your own little cell, I mean, room. And you'll be given a minimal amount of material because after all, oh, and by the way, for clothes you'll be wearing sat cloth. We're going to make sure that you wear two holes cut in, very stylish. you will give you a script over all i could have a sharpie magic marker you can create whatever designs you want to know that will be somebody who and you can just wander around and stare at the grass and stand out and face the on and it'll look all the movies of the field syndrome i mean uh... release of the field sanctuary you can also there are all around like a bunch of vegetables how that sound when they become yeah i'd be great but socialism so you know don't worry you know when i know they probably plan on giving it to you anyway. We don't plan on living with that. We can do that for you. Now the thing is, if you're right, you don't have anything to worry about. We're doing just fine. If you're wrong, well at least you have the sackcloth. This is true. Oh well. We have stuff to do right now that are looking pretty in general. Tobler, now we're bringing this up because hey guys, it's feeling like September, I tell you. Dodd, I think you feel the same way up there. This doesn't have that August flavor to it, does it right now? Oh no, hot August nights. Seen one yet. in probably won't be the 11th, the 10th, 11th, and 12th because that's Knob Creek and we've got to be there. Knob Creek last spring was canceled because of flooding. So this is going to be a critical Knob Creek with everything going on. Now all the other meetings took place with the militia on the Knob Creek weekend because those happened away from the range and all the other camping and such. But this one coming up, it's important that we all get there, it's important that we all participate. So, we're going to make sure that everybody is at least knowing that the 11th and 12th, Knob Creek is up. However, we may be up there in northwest from the weekend of the 18th or the weekend of the 25th. We will let you know. The windows will be for them. Of course, October is two months out, and you never know what could be happening in the system overall, but we're planning accordingly as if everything was going to continue to function. If it doesn't, oh well, we have our alternate don't worry about that includes magazines, ammunition and weapons. And of course we don't know where the beta will be playing so to speak, probably all over the country. You know what I mean? Also we're looking at another event coming up down in Texaco and that again the date right now is flexible but we are looking at trying to get that done and schedule as quickly as we can. And by the way Jimmy Vaughn, some people I remember are Stevie Ray Vaughn right? Well, Jimmy Vaughn is Stevie Ray Vaughn's brother. I hate doing that, but it's the way it's going. Some people know Jimmy Vaughn, so I don't have to say that. They're going, aww, Jimmy Vaughn, the musician? Yeah. Well, he's going to be there participating with us along with Poker Face, and hopefully we've got a bunch of other people that will be organized down there. Denny will be the one coordinating, so he'll be a speaking engagement for us, and he'll be in the Austin area, maybe at Washington on the Brazos again, too, because of that beautiful amphitheater they have there. So there are a bunch of up and coming events. This is kind of a warning order because we have people listening in the micro effect in the morning all over the place. You want to make sure that you know what's going on. Wait a minute. You smell something. Hold on here. Let me pour that all. There you go. You got the cup pour. Well that smells like coffee. It's in there, didn't you? She doesn't do this much. You got yourself some espresso this morning. Whoa, dude. See the light, man? It's like a tunnel. the Yeah, well, it's coffee. When there's no coffee, it's okay. In fact, we do what we call trade coffee right now. We're doing this. I should pull out a pack after the break here and read this because it's kind of fun. It's cute. You go to the dollar stores right now. Now, here's one of the things that I really, really believe in, and this has to do with, again, prepared. Even if you don't drink coffee. A lot of people don't drink coffee, and I understand that, but remember, there are a lot of other people that do. And down the road, trade coffee is very important, but While you can get coffee fairly cheap in the one gallon cans, the problem is doling that out. When somebody wants to trade for coffee, you're going to have to come up with containers. That's nice, you can do it, and I wouldn't hesitate if I had to. But these cool little foil-packed 1.5 ounce bags of coffee. Those are American. Those are American company. Not much coffee is made in the US here, guys. If you get coffee, it's coming from somewhere on the planet. It could come from all points of the compass. Right now, in the dollar stores, they've got four for a dollar. These little foil vacuum bags, just like a small micro version, small micro, but a tiny version of the bigger bags that are vacuum packed that are one pounders. They also have these retort bags. Now a retort bag is an MRE pouch, just like you see MREs in, exact same size, which is the standard for the industry as the C-Class or larger main course meals. These retort bags have coffee in them. Well, that's what they say it is anyway. But anyway, it's ground coffee. It's not instant. uh... what's best thing is of course the one little pack makes of pot of coffee however remember that if you're making coffee you're not going to throw the grounds out in the future like some people do now if you are looking at no more coffee you're going to start thinking of making the stuff stretch his number was doing that but here's the thing if i want to trade down elected by uh... box of ammo from you well how many of them becker-coffee well that's just it you see we can partner back and forth maybe i'll offer you Two little bags, two of those little quarter bags, I won't call them quarter bags, they're just 1.5 ounce, call them quarter bags because that's what we paid for them, but coffee progressively as import ceases to exist is like chocolate and several other things, it goes up in value really fast, like ammunition. And so what you can do is offer maybe a large chocolate bar and maybe two small little 25 cent packs of coffee. Not enough down? I don't know, me and the boys say that coffee will be gone faster than the bullets were given. True, so I'll tell you what I'll do. I got a dollar bag of coffee here. I'll slide that across the table. How's that? Does that sweeten the deal? I'll make a little bit better. He's kind of nodding, so I think we can do that deal. Now I have the coffee in denominations that I can spend, and that's why we call it trade coffee. It doesn't mean that you're going to be the one using it, although you can. Right now, it's a dollar a bag for like eight ounces of ground coffee. That's not bad considering. However, when I looked at this stuff, I was, I'm going to read the label for you, and then it's really funny because whenever I see something that gets really nebulous, big American flags on it, okay, an American fill in the blank, blah, blah, blah, usually that is a warning sign. Well, you know what, if you take this to an extreme, you guys, you can even barter for the bullets. A portion of the barter would be to get the brass back. That's right. You got to remember, pot bottles are empty. Well I'll tell you what, we are here, it is the bottom of the hour, which means it is 7.29 in the morning and if you aren't up yet finishing cooking that breakfast that your wife can't make for you because she's visiting mom right now. Well, you better get to work. Meanwhile, we're gonna, I say work is in the kitchen, you're still gonna get to work, but take your time, just keep thinking. I request of General Washington, I volunteer to go into the midst of our bloodthirsty four-eye rigor. because you know nobody over in that camp reloads. You know what I mean? This is part of the parcel of a situation knowing as much its capability as your enemy's capability. And if you, again, this is something really obvious, you guys. Sometimes the obvious is overlooked. Oops, the nail in the shoe of the horse. But if you're doing it someplace and you know that bullets are going somewhere and they don't reload, they just leave their brass and exit the area in hard times. Everybody wants to drive the hard bargain, don't they? Think about it. Well, especially in regard to people sometimes don't think about it. However, that's one of the things too in the long run, you're going to see people recovering for years. We're recycling them, but it'll be everything. I don't care what it is. It'll be steel case, it'll be even a little rusty. People will be doing like what I saw back in the 70s with certain calibers. is no matter how bad the case, they're going to clean it up to the best of their ability and try to get another use out of it. In 1977 through 1981, ammunition levels had depleted to the point where improvising was the only option and we knew that if anything got really bad, and that was the reason, that was what they were doing, it wasn't accidental, they were depleting. And there was no cheap stuff laying around. Well, there was a lot of cheap stuff that people had bought, and so when they fired it, well, some people didn't collect the cases, but everybody else did. And so then we turned around and had to figure out how to make that burdam prime steel case. We'll work them up with ways to bore out the primer pocket to create a burdam primer, a boxer primer, or we had to find burdam primers, which were out there, by the way. And then reload with, of course, standard powders. And then be careful with regard to finish with the case to try and not to overload it to maximum so we didn't overstress it so that we could use the round over and over the casing over and over again. And of course, round after round it would work. So this is something that most people don't think about. But probably you've heard it in movies and not even it passed you by. Remember, I've brought this up many times over the years. There's a very accurate element there in platoon where the one sergeant goes, police your brass. We don't leave nothing for the dinks. What's he mean by police his brass, Don? I'll look around the field, like police the kitchen, make it clean, retrieve. bottom line is don't waste anything and don't give your opponent anything to use against you. Right, because everything that the Vietnamese were able to pick up, they were able to use again at the very least because ammunition was ammunition, okay. The other option is a manufactured piece of metal can be used for so many other things. It can be loaded in around an explosive and be used as a truck. That's right. So keep in mind that there's so many things can be done with something that you have like that. Improvised Munition Manual even shows how to make, take a piece of brass and turn it into a blasting cap. A containment vessel made of a frangible metal, a velocity powder, and a few other things. What you have is the basic component that is sealed to make other things go boom. So something so simple as an ideal, I tell you, to be quite honest, This aluminum ammunition that's out there would be optimal for a mission like that. Not that you would ever do it, but looking at the idea that we might have to fight an invader off of the continent, like we did in preparations in World War II, why? We probably are looking at that again, so we're going to have to be ready to deal with the problem. Now, I'll tell you what, real quick here. This is communications. This is an example of it's not what you say, it's what you don't say. not with their uh... a big hint there should be so far music in the background when doing his phone from the phone with them sunny acres deluxe roast organically mountain-grown roast coffee now here's what here's the description here are organically grown coffee flourishes under the shade of the tea tree omits the intertwining minds of black pepper plant nourished by the rich black soil exceptional rainfall coffee makes its journey from our lush plantations at an altitude of 5,000 feet to be equally roasted for a taste unlike any coffee you have ever enjoyed. Now, what's wrong with what I just read? Did it tell you where that plantation was? Now, I looked at this, I read this because you don't know how to do that, he wants me to read packages, okay, but freshly ground, makes 60 delicious cups. Now, the cool thing is there's only a little bit of Spanish in the whole thing, you know, frescoes. I'll say, let's see, let's do a close call. Well, whatever, 60. This is the answer to the servings. One upright. Well, if you try to make a single copy, I'll do that one, too. But anyway, distributed by it, it gives blah, blah, blah the name. So I'm looking around, I'm like, okay, where the hell are these plantations? Where's this copy from? Because only one or two words added to this little paragraph. would have, you know, again, offered, you know, location. Well, anyway, kind of like checking a kitty cat when you get a whole bunch of kittens and you want to find out when you've got boys and girls. I had to go to the bottom and open up the little area in the bottom of this retort bag and it says, Sunny Acres Deluxe Roast. And in really, really, really tiny letters it says, product of India, Vishnu be praised. Oh my goodness. But you know again, people go, oh, in ya. Well, guys, come on. You know, we buy coffee. Think about this. How many of you have gone into a truck stop and looked at all the selection? Now with the coffee, okay. 14 coffee machines. Yeah. It's like, wow, this is cool. When they first start doing this, they're like, okay, I'm just going in. You're driving on the road, coffee. Okay, there you go, whatever. And maybe sitting there for a person, so it's really super thick and it's got that really unique flavor. that you really never do forget but you do forget fortunately so you can go on thinking about good coffee. Buy it again next month. Anyway, the interesting thing is now it's like you got 6, 12, 14 pots. These love gas stations have about 10 or 12 and they have different flavors. So when people look at it and say, oh Indian coffee, ah, really? Okay, so let me ask you, how safe is Kenyan dark? Kenya, Africa. Okay, excuse me, what's going on over there right now? Wait a minute Mark, there's a coffee that comes out of a Philippines somewhere and they only take these after they've been through a bath, been through meaning, you know, the GI track. Right, and come out the other end with a sifter. The coffee beans do. Shame on you people. How the hell did you come up with that? Okay. I got no idea. I've never touched it. It's like, okay, here's the thing. very desperate but then yeah i'm like so this is some group that's walking by all the good that they did it but guano coffee well here's another one Ethiopian roast okay or Ethiopian Ethiopian you know dark blend again or whatever okay Ethiopian mountain blend okay guys what would be guilty one of those places where it says we're all starving you know we're all starving and oh dying we'll continue to grow will continue to grow coffee so when people say all but it's from india it's like hey guys you better go down the list of places you've been buying your coffee from okay now columbia pretty cool they're not real rich but they're pretty you know pretty you know laid-back people those other countries we just listed like kenya and also like uh... ethiopia they got a lot of problems So I wouldn't be doing this all India. So again, it's just it's from another country just like most coffee is usually grown at altitude as all coffee is. And for a dollar a pouch, nine ounces, I was I'm forgive me, I was off, I gave you the wrong number. So nine ounces of coffee, it's in a retort MRE bag, it's the C class, the type that the main course MREs come in. What we're doing is this, we're taking as many of these as will fit in a one gallon can. packing them in real tight, throwing in some other goodies in between where there's any kind of airspace, matches and things like that, which will also be in their own foil, forgive me not foil, but they'll vacuum pack too and they're in their own little packets. And then what we do is we seal the can, we have a canner. So what you have is trade coffee. In other words, I can open this up and the cool thing about it is this, see anytime you can put multiple tiers of protection around your food, you need to do this. And what you got here is these pouches are already packed. You put them inside the can. You can even go one step farther in and actually vacuum pack these things in another plastic bag. That's not excessive. You got to remember the military always puts three layers of protection over everything that they pack. And the cool thing is because of that, you've got these really neat items that are like 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years old. Look like they just came out of the factory when you open the pouch. Well, with food, the idea is you want it so that it's not moldy and green when you open the pouch. To do that, you want to make sure you have as many protective layers as you can, especially for timed storage. Well, you take these pouches, you put them in the one gallon can. We have our one gallon dry pack canner. It's a hand crank, so it's not the zzzzzz instead, it's a kk, and it's done. Then I mark it on three sides. With a marker, I write exactly what's inside. And then I take a P-38 can opener and I glue it to the top and then I put it in the six can box on the shelf. Now I've got trade coffee ready to go and when I want to set up a little store or if I want to use it to give to the troops, I have it ready to go. If you want to put a deal from the wife, it's not the best because of its shape, but you can go out and get a 20 or 30 gallon galvanized trash can. for around 10 bucks you guys. I'm certain they bring them from China. But, and again, if you're putting in old coffee pots, it's not the best storage because you're not making the most efficient use of space, you know, packing square boxes into a square box, so to speak. But again, it offers a outer shield that is almost, you can go out and get the, one thing that's happening right now, Mark, is we're seeing a lot of plastic tubs. Tubs are good, you know, for X amount of, But I wouldn't advise you to store them because of, you know, and the chew factor. You're putting the nipple hole in the side of the back you missed. Here is a slightly more than a plastic hub as far as initial cost. But look, you could have one of those full, in particular like a 20 gallon one. You previously described, you know, storage barter items. And you got a guy on one side and a guy on the other. And they've got their handgun in each free hand and they pick up that 20 gallon or that 30 gallon and it goes to where it has to be. goes on the truck, they put it on the cart, it gets moved, however you understand that. But again, that's a real solid barrier you guys, and I won't dwell on trash cans for the rest of the hour. But that is a real solid barrier, a galvanized trash can. There's just another thought line solution if you want to go in that direction. Exactly, and again we've got a number of different metal containers and such for equipment that you can access through the surplus companies in your area. A lot of people when you're out west, either you're going to find resale shops or you're going to find bulk shops where you can get the galvanized garbage containers. You may find the dog transport cans. It could be any number of things, but again, check to see what was stored in them. Don't just throw the stuff in there. Again, take Mark's word for this. You never know what's been stored inside when it's something used. There are a number of systems you can access which are a solution. Many of them are for radio rigs and such which is not a problem. Again, you have to look at the inside and consider how much space available there is because sometimes there's a lot of extra padding. Always look at the inside. Don't just look at the outside and go, hmm, looks good. Yeah, yeah, I'll give it to you for a great price. Get it home and you'll find out the thing is heavily welded and molded material that It was designed to carry three light bulbs, you know what I mean? On the outside it's about 40 gallons worth of space. You're right, you're right. And now I want to speak again to the obvious, you guys. The country seems to wash in these blue barrels. You can almost get them anywhere. Sometimes they have big screw-ons, they just have little what I might call the bunks, you know, where it's a little three-inch hole, screw-on lid, an event hole on the other side that might be a quarter inch or whatnot. Screw-on lids, generally they'll carry hard parts nuts and bolts that are obviously more One might be pressed into service someday as a water storage and water with you someday because well gee we've been staying by this lake but we know that the blue helmets are coming you know what I mean here comes the bull step out of the way. Mark I have to put him dry well here so I can drain the garage floor. We're used to some type of asshole guy here and he went out of business but I told him he says don't tell anybody where you got those barrels. I was going to do with them I'm going to put old acid barrels in the ground and use them maybe that's not the best but even worse would be to store water in them and then to dole out water to your friends and family. Or was in that barrel before it was going to leach out as soon as you put water in it. Think about that. And I know it's so basic that many people have thought of this already, but for the guys out there who haven't. Every once in a while I get to remind people. Now another thing real quick, Dan, because, well not real quick, take the time to do this, and this is shifting another direction, but this is something, especially with last night, we were using pretty much all of our technologies for a certain reason. Night vision is something, especially last night, real quick, we got a few minutes before the top of the hour. Last night we had moonset early, of course, which has been the case for the last couple of days. One of the things about this is that for all of you listening, you are going to use night vision, you want to use it in all environments. Last night we didn't have much of a moon, of course, for very long, but we had phenomenal star illumination. Because it was so clear down this we've had really clean air here. Yeah, again China hasn't been the Olympics Yeah, so all of a sudden hey, it's really benefiting everybody well anyway this really super clear We've had meant that we had stars to forever was very impressive well guess what? Last night was one of those nights and the starlight because of the amount that we had actually made up quite well because we're using some first generation equipment and we got some other stuff laying around here and some camera technology. Well the thing is the first generation equipment worked really great but it would be nice to have for instance illumination systems out in front in infrared range LEDs there but you have night vision available and you can get it from a number of sources so tell everybody how they can access night vision. seeing something online or seeing something in a catalog, pretty much I can get that for you. I'll do my best to beat the prices. You know, the guy with the 800 number, he's priced. But again, the way I figured it, the more pieces I put in the field, the busier you're going to keep people that want to come here and keep me busy. You know what I mean? And that works across the nation. Talk many times about you're going to have to keep your own backyard clutter free, so to speak. You know, instead of, well, I hear that something's going on over there. Well, let's go. over there down your own backyard. And that's, I demonstrate that thought with, well, the more pieces I put in the field, the easier it's going to be for every one of you. And that's another way to put it. But you can reach me at 231-796. Give it about seven minutes till I'm off of the hour here. There's only one line into the compound and tunnel network, Mark. I like that line every now and then. And again, not that that won't be available, but you've got to wait a few minutes because it's only 752 Eastern Standard Time. Now, another thing is again, preparation. It's obvious that the other guys, the bad guys are orchestrating a series of actions around the planet. We can't do anything about what's happening in Europe. We can't do anything about what's happening in Asia. We cannot do anything about what's happening in Africa. It's that simple. However, we can do something about what they're attempting to do to our people here in the United States. Now, for that reason, that's why you need to be prepared. A lot of the things we've touched on today, this morning, are because there are pressing events. The bad guys are on a time scale. They've set up a timeline. They are planning on executing actions in a particular way. We need to be ready to be ready to be ready. And then our timeline kicks in. Oh, that's right. You think we're just reacting? Wrong. We have our process of development so that we can be ready for what actions need to be taken. And all of you that are preparing, this gives you that much more of an edge when the time comes. but you've got to know how to use the equipment you need to immerse yourselves into a degree uh... to whatever degree you can in uh... the martial arts slash the milton slash military science why because it's part of your well-rounded education as a generalist if you were to american a generalist as in knowing all trades and arts to some degree that has been the advantage of the american for your not the specialist but the generalist A generalist means that you have touched on one of virtually every, a little bit of every trade out there, of every element of life out there in one form or another. That's what makes humans superior to all the other critters on the planet. We are so adaptable. Well, adaptability is what the other side is trying to destroy as quickly as it can because that means that it can then manipulate you. In our case, we are everything from, you know, we can shovel manure on the farm when we have to, to as Heinlein said, command a starship. Okay, literally navigate the star. It's purely a matter of how motivated you get or whether or not you're gonna slump down into the doldrums of, nobody's ever had it like this on the planet. Oh yes, yes they have. In fact, this is the problem, this animated contest of life. is nothing new. We're just the latest players in this particular part of the game, guys. So congratulations, get your act together and decide that you're going to be part of it rather than doing the Weezer thing. If your parents had done that and their parents had done that, so on, you wouldn't even be here. That's right. If everybody did the, ah, it's so bad. Look, the Indians are up here. It makes me think of a plaque used to hang on the wall at Republic Radio years and years ago. I think it went something like, on the plains of hesitation lie the blackened bones of millions who at the dawn of victory sat down to rest and resting died. Just when you almost had, well you know, that's why we have to be squared away and ready to go. There's a lot of stuff that's taking place around the country that very disgusting uh... yummy shooting hippies in colorado come on we always joke about it but you know the groups that are involved with that they went after i got a chance to talk with the guys down there not other girls and guys down there that were at austin that went to that thing videotaped and filmed it they went after the women of the kids of the guys that to the were shooting for women and children they were going after the women and children what a bunch of low-life bottom-feeding dirt bags You know, only a coward would be high-fiving after that. And that's exactly what I do. And a brain-dead goof. A brain-dead goof would be high-fiving out in the parking lot after they went off in the woods and were shooting rubber bullets and pepper spraying little kids and went a handful of older hippies. A bunch of blokes. But that's the people that are being employed. They're not Americans. There's some other scumbags probably imported. Well, we're going to deport them pretty soon or deal with them in other ways. So that's just on the list of things to do. All you better keep that in mind, which means more ammunition, more ammunition, and more ammunition. Can I say buy more bullets? That's right. The abuses are going to continue. The beatings will continue, as they say. Until such time as you decide, you don't want to take it no more. Yes, Ernie, I have another. Oh, well. Okay, I can do that. Hold still, Dom. Oh, smack your thighs ahead one more time with a chiléni. Well we are at the top of the hour. You all wake up, come on, you gotta get to work. It is Tuesday, we have a lot to do. And again, liberty is our goal, people. Our mission is to keep our liberty and to make sure we get rid of the buggers who plan on trying to take it. God bless the republic. Death to the new world order. Michelle Prevail, the empire is on the run. We are on the march, both day and at night. Hoorah! And remember again, pay attention to the music guys. We've got some really good authors out there. You're going to be hearing more and more of them right here on the microfitness network tomorrow. And for the rest of the day. God bless you Mark. God bless you. Great job. I thought it was frightening.
