Nancy Koernke and Michael Messer hosted the second hour of the Intelligence Report on July 25, 2008, discussing emergency medical preparedness, including how to assemble and store medical supplies in dry-packed cans, sterilization techniques using bleach solutions, and the reuse of certain medical equipment like glass syringes. Callers from Pennsylvania and Florida contributed questions about treating battlefield casualties, organizing hospital facilities for wounded personnel, and family identification protocols during emergencies. The hosts promoted an upcoming event at Washington on the Brazos State Park in Texas featuring speakers including Mark Koernke, Jack Blood, and L.B. Bork, and advertised militia training manuals and preparedness resources.
I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republic in each God-given right. And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the midst from whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Still the land of... Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Intelligence Report. I'm Nancy Quarantee. And I'm Michael Messer. Okay, we also have Wendy somewhere in the background there. Um, kind of a carry over from, from the last hours, I changed my column number, or at least it's marked, maybe Mark got it wrong. I don't know. I called the long number that's one kind of comment. But I like to get out the column numbers too. Anybody have any questions for Mike? Uh, that number is 512-646-1984 or 512-646-6449. Um, and that's how do I add the number for the other number? At any rate. We are here this Friday, July 25th, 2008, filling a Prudana Marcula on their way and hopefully at this in Texas, closing in on their destination for Washington on the Brazos this weekend. This is of America. If you're in Texas, be there, but I could not get the time off from work. I tried very hard. But this is the promise of America, Washington on the Brazos State Park, July 26th, this Saturday, 2008 from 9am until 6pm. Lunch will be available for purchase. $20 a person admission or $30 a couple. Children that are 18 are free. There will be a lunchtime entertainment by Christian Singer. But Lutral is available first come first serve. $20 a table. You have a chance to hear Jack, talk show host of Deadline Live. Hank Gilbert with Turf. L.B. Bork, the author of Red Amendment, of course. Mark Cornke, talk show host with On We the People radio, The Intelligence Report, and also, of course, LTR. Steve Schenck, Richard, or Richard Maxx, all tomorrow. I hope many of you can make it there and participate. This will be very good for you. for everyone involved. Wanted to thank everybody listening tonight as we continue with what we have. I'm talking about medical. Michael just went through a long list of things that, you know, if you can't use them, make sure that you have them on hand. Take care of your family, your friends. If you don't know how to use it, get it to a medical unit, an emotional medical unit in your area. that they might, they will be able to use any of the items that were listed and Mike will need to get that from you in email form. And what I might like to do is actually put it out in a little booklet form so people can have this and kind of do a little checklist. Do I have this? Do I have that? And then what quantity? One of the things that we've done here with medical supplies is can them. This is one of the things we'll be doing at the party on the beach tomorrow is showing people how to dry pack cans. And the thing is, you can do this with the exception of things like stretchers. A lot of the medical items can be stored in the one gallon cans and sealed up using the dry pack canning method. And again, another thing, I worked with, like I said, to put, you know, really encouraged a medical unit to be put together because we know we're going to have injuries. Point point, when it hits the fan, we're going to have injuries. We know that. There's no two ways about it. And we have to be able to treat them and treat them quickly, treat them right, and make sure that they have the support and the necessary items to take care of the injured individuals in doing this, you know, this is a way to do this, that you have things and you can list on the outside of the can with black magic marker exactly what it is. And I put it right on the can, not on a label because labels have a tendency to become compromised and fall off. So if you use a black magic marker and you can, you know, if you want to use the red one for a red cross on it, and then list what it is you've got in there, be it seamless, that scaffold, I mean, if you want to put a surgery, a short, minor surgery kit together and can it so it's on the shelf and you want to hand it off so it can be in storage. And then if you sterilize it before you put it in there and make sure it's in sterile packaging or if you purchase it that way, that is available there. And again, I would also include antibacterial soap, the alcohol prep pads. Those are easy to come by folks. You know, things of that nature, the anti-triple antibiotic ointment packages, these things are relatively easy to come by. And by putting it in there in individual packages, then once it's open, you're not contaminating a whole tube. That's something to think about. To keep everything together In one packet, so you go to, here we go, from band-aids to the 2x2, 4x4s, or bigger M-Gos, sterile gauze. You want to make sure you do that. The idea with the sterile gloves is an excellent idea because they need to be sterile. The other thing we were talking about for sterilization, hygienyl peroxide, One thing that the one surgeon that we have here who passed away recently was adamant about, he didn't like using either of those two because the best, what he told me, the best oxidizer on the planet is bleach. And he would take and make up a one-third solution, I think 33%, I'm sorry, solution of bleach water and use that to sterilize everything. He wouldn't use anything else. He refused it. He would use it to prep the patient, unless of course on the case that they're allergic to bleach, there are a few people out there that are. And that needs to be upfront, people upfront about that if you're going to use that. Mike, have you ever heard of that before? No, I haven't, but I've come across a lot of other things and this is something that Mark and I have touched on. That as a medic of people, the medic needs to sit down with each individual person and write out their name, pertinent medical information. So then if that person is under the unconscious, then I'd hate to go in and try to treat somebody for an injury and go to prep the skin with betadine and then they go into an antation. Somebody didn't know or somebody didn't ask that they had a medication or anything like that. You were speaking about tracking these things. I would do not use the hydrogen wet items because those bottle want to do that. I would also mark the outside of the container and get sued. You're going to be confused. Use of a red because if you're looking, if you go into a store and you're using a red lens black you're looking for something that red marker becomes invisible at night, they'll get us a bucket of two by twos and you're like, none of them are marked, how do I know which ones are two by twos? Not necessarily, no pun intended, but you might want to just use a black magic marker and put a black frost on it instead of a... You know, something that's different and that's an excellent point. I was just doing that for, you know, quick identification that this is medical equipment and we marked the side of the can as well as the top. And then we have the case box that they go in and they are also marked on the side and on the top and each can has a P-38 can opener glued to the lid. They hand it off, they have a way to open it. You know, it's that simple. And it makes, we do that with each of the food items as well. That we can glue, put it in place, put it on the shelf and forget about it. It's ready to go. And it's that simple. From the hard candy items, the cough drops, you know, that type of thing separate. And you're absolutely correct. I generally, those things are already pre-packaged as far as I'm concerned, find some of the and box them up, tape it up well. And again, it's, you know, that stuff's ready to go. Another thing too I found is the label. Not only that I have labeled with what's in there and then I have a number, a running number, one through 50 of the containers and then I have a small 3x5 little stick you can put in your pocket and then I have that on there so a thick item, I can pull out that notebook and go, just go down, I can go get box number 23 and boom, check the label, yep it is, pull it off. One other thing that I want to touch on and again, now Mark and I have Everybody has a different level of expertise. Do acknowledge that there's a we had about medicine, alternative medicine like that. You know, the previous up the deal about vaccination. Do you know, we've all heard about all the. autism and the mercury and everything. But there's got to be a line. I hear the music coming in. We'll continue this discussion after we come back. Please, ladies and gentlemen, support our sponsors because if they're helping keeping us on the air, and I know you want this information. So we'll be back in three. This is Steve Schenk, J. And that's really, really, we've been really tight. Wendy can tell you this. As a matter of fact, we have Wendy online. Wendy Limeweaver. Hello, Wendy. Hello. I think Dan's a little busier. But we also have Michael Nester, of course. And we've got a couple callers here. Mike, Darryl Sittick from Pennsylvania, and Wendy Limeweaver from Ipsilanti, Michigan. Is anybody there? Okay. Somehow I think I'm lost. Oh hey, there's a voice. Another voice on the end of the line here. But I wanted to get that out real quick so that we do that. We've got to keep LTR up and running here, folks. They're tied across the country. And oddly enough, I was listening to the news as I was running, doing my little running around today. And they were saying for the first, I think this is the first time ever, as things are bouncing back, and our brother's not doing so well in the bounce back. from this economic time a little slower than the rest of the country even, which is kind of unusual for this area. Usually it's the last to go down and the first one to come back, spring back when there are financial difficulties in the area. So yeah, we're hanging on to our, hang on to that. Things are going on, going on. But Mike, we were talking about, we do have Wendy, if Dan, if you're in there, could you please, But we do have a couple callers on the line. If we could go to either Wendy or Daryl at this time, we'd like that. So there, but that's okay. When they come up, just go ahead and just give us a shout out if you come up. Kind of one of the things that I was touching on before the break there was about the level of expertise and acknowledgement. And yes, I understand there's the the mercury and the vaccinations and everything. And you know what we have to do is maybe if we take a couple of records, we have to understand that it's not necessarily the vaccination in itself, it's what changed it too. When they first started, somebody discovered that they could take a needle with some thread on it and put it in a box to calculate other people so that the people didn't suffer from autism or things like that. A lot of it has to do with the level of expertise. And again, sometimes if we refuse to do these things, and say for instance, the colloidal silver, it definitely has its place for colloidal wounds and things like that. Say for instance, somebody would step on a rusty nail, and always suspect that they might get, then what, and yes, they would have a place that wound to kill the bacteria, but if somebody's wound wasn't cleansed and they came down with tetanus. And this is the thing. With colloidal silver, you're talking a fairly large particle. If you get into the smaller particles of silver in the ionic silver solutions, such as water as anneva or sauvignon silver that they've gone to, where the molecules are actually small enough to penetrate cell walls, even of viruses. Those are going to be more effective not only topically but taken internally. There are 19 different colleges that are studying these silver solutions on the level under 10 angstroms in size in this solution, actually penetrating viral walls and killing them because of the electrical charge that silver carries that's killing these viruses. The other thing that they're studying this, that they're amazed at, is that there is this blood-brain barrier that identifies of silver in that barrier and helping people that have spinal cord injury, back injuries, where regular medications of the body's not allowing it into the spinal cord to reduce the swelling there. And the silver is being effective in that way. However, again, you have the problem of if you're taking it over a long period of time, you're going to have a buildup of silver in your system. And you have to be very, very careful. This is not one of those things where, you know, if a little good is good, a lot's better, folks. A lot can make you very, very sick. you can wind up with heavy metal poisoning. I've seen it personally happen. The gentleman here that, you know, he was accused of taking it for that specific purpose, and he decided he was going to keep on doing construction. So he was, you know, taking a swig every time his back started bothering him, and he wound up with silver poisoning. The boy is blue. Nancy can you hear me now? Yes, I can hear you Wendy. Oh very nice. I was taking silver every time just before I felt like I was getting the flu and I never got the flu. Wow. Never got it. What if you got you know just a little bit? It is effective. Well, we're at the bottom of the hour already. Ladies and gentlemen we'll be back. with more of the Angelus' reports. Sierra WGPRN and Liberty Tree Radio. It's a Friday. Oh, it's sitting in with Mike and Nancy Understand Wendy. Are you still there? Yeah, I'm here. Can you hear me? Yes, we got you there. Yeah, good Okay, and now do we have the ability to bring Darryl up in Pennsylvania too? Do we bring Darryl up? Is that possible, Dan? Hey, that's my good friend Darryl. I'm talking about the medical supplies and stuff and I was wondering with the fact that the supplies are going to become tough, if there was a way that we could safely reuse bandages and stuff by boiling them and then you know with bleach and Disinfectants to be able to reuse them not be a good idea That some of the things maybe you know your ace bandages and things like that. I'm pretty sure we could I think you'd want to do that Yeah, I wouldn't want to do that with your two by twos four by fours hypodermic needles and things there just too many times That I've seen where in trees like China and Russia where they've tried to use this stuff everybody comes down with the hay stuff. Yes, uh-huh. I think with the hypodermics, if they're the glass ones, those are, you can put those, they can be bleached, they can be too sterilized, and they are meant to be reused. So, you know, if you've got the plastic ones, toss them. You know, they're disposable. And you can even pick those up down at your local farm supply. You know, I can run down here to the Dexter Mill and pick up pretty much whatever size I want to get. I know. And they really are in sterile packs, so, you know, ready for veterinary type use. I brought that up as a possibility that stuff like this is going to become a short supply in a real quick hurry. And you can cannibalize from your enemy by field stripping them and taking their stuff, but at a certain point, it's like anything, a lot of this stuff is going to become in a short supply. That's what I was asking about. If you have access to the reusable glass syringes, that would be something to invest in. But you have to understand they have to be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized. the tips, the needles, I would toss. I'm sorry, you know, I'm a firm believer in that because you don't know what, you can't get in there. You don't know if you've got all the flesh, all the blood out of that needle, even if you're, you know, pushing, pushing solution through it. Yeah, I was just bringing that up for so that those out there might be thinking about that. So they would have understanding where, yeah, what they can. Yeah. Yeah. lost my grandfather kind of that way. My grandmother had had an aneurysm and didn't really remember for one minute the next, but she knows as she was an RN, he had taken his diabetic medication, the insulin, and she went back and reused the same needle, okay? It just spat out. But he wound up with hepatitis, which later killed him from the reuse of his own needle. So it doesn't even have to be the reuse of a needle use from one patient to another patient but the same patient. You can wind up with serious illness that can kill you. One of the things of talking about reusing, say for instance we have a tube of your triple antibiotic, your Neosporin ointment, you would do when we would take that one patient to the next, you don't unscrew the and set it down and then squeeze ointment on where the tip of the full amount of that onto a Q-tip and then use the Q-tip onto the wound. And if you need more supplies, I would recommend getting a older copy of the special act of that. It's different, everything like that. So these things become, there is a, make these things out in the field. And it's very, very handy information to have, indeed. I wonder how much you could make of that and again put into zero containers. I would think that would be a very handy thing to do. Yes. Always try to get ahead of the game, try to be a step ahead of what's coming. Absolutely. But once you have the technique down, I guess practice makes perfect and by practicing on how to do it, then you can become the teacher to show people, you know, right now it's the easy thing to get a hold of, of two tips or, or the sterile floss, you know, that are pre-packed. However, to know how to do this now rather than waiting, oh, let's try to read the book and oh, do we have everything? Kind of, kind of deal is, is just. So, you know, it's, it's the cost of these things, you know, we were talking about, you know, reusing certain items, you know, hypodermic needle, what does that cost? A penny? Right. We could do some of those things right now because there aren't enough to make a fee to have a person as the medic. Exam gloves and ointment and two by twos and four by fours. That should be something that everybody's going to benefit. I don't think people realize just how fast you go through these kinds of supplies. I mean, it's It's you just use these things and you go through it like water and depending on the casualties and what you're treating it can disappear fast. So the more people that buy supplies of various types the better off we're going to be in the end. I mean if you have a bleeder and you're trying to work in there you need so many you're going to need a lot of glass pads. And to get where you can see you that like a sponge in order to soak up the blood so you can see what you're working on. And that, you know, you go through them like crazy. I can remember back when I was in the military that when the GIs were in a combat zone and they had a whole lot of medical supplies on them, but they'd have a bandage, a trauma pad or whatever. that they would carry themselves so that when the corpsman got there, the corpsman would not necessarily have to carry the extra stuff, but help him from depleting his supplies while he's training him on the field. So it would be a good idea for each person to sit down with a corpsman and a small pack, a nice pack to carry on with. And that's it. We have our own first aid pouches that are loaded. And there should be some very standard things that are in there from the small, medium, and large trauma dressings. As well as intermittent items of other things, smaller things that you can carry with you to take for small injuries, you can take care of yourself. And, uh, Gerald, did you have anything to add? We still got a couple more callers that we need to give to. Uh, no, at this point, uh, go ahead and get the callers yet. Okay. Um, Dan, could you bring George up, please? George? Did you have a question, George? We'll get there. George? Um, anyway. Let's continue on. I do want to put it out there folks. You know, Mark is on his way down. Hey, there's George. How you doing? Yes, this is a question from Mike. You know, when we get wounded, when we get wounded in, we know that some are going to be really serious and need like, like really like around the clock attention. But then you got ambulatory to 900%. And yet, some of them you'll have to evacuate out of the area because you'll have to make room for other beds. But yes, certain of you can still stay around and guard the perimeter of the hospital and protecting the other wounded that can't quite, you know, up to par. But yet, the others that could probably go back to the rear, they can handle certain duties like even doing reloading or doing even cooking or something like that or administrative until they're 100% and can return to the field. Sure, they can monitor radios, they can guard the perimeter, there's a multiple. Exactly. Because you're going to have to have some halfway houses for like some of them wounded. Some of those people I can say not 100% but yet they could do all these tasks. Again, this is where your hospital generally are to a rear position in a secure camp environment, if you will. And as we were talking in the first hour, have separate facilities for that from the critical to those that are, you know, can't get up and right, you know, around and then those that are, you know, able to get up and around but are not healed. And again, those people can actually help out in the setting with the other patients, perhaps, as long as they don't have a losing wound or something that might with cross-examination against something that needs to be foremost in our mind and part of the reason that we need to cross with a basic or advanced stages of clinical training. We had these five tape series available also and this is on videotape, the field medical, field medic, an entire series that goes even into showing you how to do suitors how to deal with specific problems. This is something everyone needs to do. And I believe he's still, the gentleman that did that series, is still doing seminars out in the field. And he will go so far as to cut himself with a scalpel to show you how to do it. And I've heard people that came back from his seminars and cut his leg to suture it up. The other thing that he will do if he's got a week-long training session is bring in livestock, shoot them, and say fix them. You know, as your final exam, you know, you have to keep this animal alive for the duration of the week. You're responsible, yeah. Nancy, I have another concern. I'm putting up what they call laminated carts for my children. Yeah, it identifies me and my wife as the parents and every family member they can get in touch with the word location where they live Because I'm just like I'm gonna have like had this on it like I said we ever do you think comes that we get separated that I want to teach my kids to identify the friendlies and so I can set up just talking just give him just give the commander this card Tell me who they are whatever because I know the friendlies will get him out of harm's way right and to the networking communications to still be able to reunite us, reunite the kids, reunite or put them in some family. That has, that's a double edge sword. I don't know if you are into home education or not, but if they have something like that on them and they're on the school system, they're gonna get drilled. The school system's really good about interrogating our children with information, for information, our activities. And that's, you know, this is to the point where it's absurd. I could go on for hours about the public schools, but that is one of the things that I see as a problem. And, you know, if there's that, they need to know where to go, who to talk to, and they need to have a face-to-face contact, you know, of who they are. And so that when you go to trainings, a part of these things as well, and people know who your children are that are within your group and you know who their children are and their families and where they live and where they have an idea where the extended family is and where it is would be a safe place, if you will, for them to go to. And I would set that up in advance with two or three different people within your unit. And that's how it would handle that. Because I could see the enemy trying to plead our resources like dumping a bunch of kids on us. you know, release an amount of camp and dump them back on us. And again, the refugees in this case are going to be, they are a dream. And the thing that they need to understand is that they must be productive. If you come, you know, that's the thing. I mean, if somebody comes to you and they, where are they coming from? You know, if you don't know them, then they're, honestly, I hate to be this way, but they're not your response. If they are not with us, Okay, and mind and spirit, it's not our responsibility. They need to go to the Pima Camps, I'm sorry. If they're willing to fight this, then they need, as Mark says, the butter knife grade. If they have the mind and the spirit to carry through, then they gotta get their own. They're gonna have to earn it. And part of that is getting their own arms, their own munitions. with the card with all that information on it. If the enemy should pick the kid up, then they could use that to end into surrendering or they threaten the lives of your children or it gives them a source to go to to round up the rest of your family or relatives and also use them again as a source to get to you, to force you into surrendering and giving up the fight. That's it. And you don't want to do that. That is what I'm saying. Especially if they're in the public school system because the public school system is tied into office. Which is why home education is so vitally important to people with children. You can also chip the kids and bring them back in without doing nothing. I'm sorry? They can also chip the kids and find out, just to find out where your local position is. Exactly. Okay, and that's, you know, there needs to be, this needs to be handled. You don't leave them at home if you're out and about and the, it hits the fan, okay? They need to be at a secure location where you have control of that situation, which has been something that Mark and I have discussed in a great deal about the family, especially when our children were younger. That's my job. I take care of them, I take care of making sure that they're said, that they're responsibly taken care of and educated, and this has been, that's been my job. You know, that's the way I look at it, and we need to continue with that, and if you have to, you have to do that. They are our obligation. It is our obligation to take care of them, and this is one of the things. them, you don't give that kind of information, you don't have it on them because that is where you're going to run into trouble. If they have it on them, that information, then those people are going to be harassed and watched because they're going to assume that you are going to have contact with them because you wanted your children to go to one of them. Okay? It sets up a bad situation for you, your children, and your family. because they're going to make that assumption that everybody's involved to the same level. And it's something we really don't want to go there. Oh my goodness, the top of the hour is here. I'm hearing the music, guys. It's been a great time. We'll be back here Monday. Mark will not be back here at that time. It'll be myself and somebody else. I'm not sure. We'll have to work that out. But this has been the intelligence report. And as always, God bless the republic. That's the new order. We shall prevail. Ladies and gentlemen, we're on the march. They're on the run. Let's keep it that way. These jokers plan on taking our Constitution, our Bill of Rights. Don't let it happen. Get involved. Be prepared and be ready to fight. As always, God bless and good night. Thank everyone for the call-ins and listening in. Mark is there on Saturday. The Bill of Rights protects every American's God-given right to keep and bear arms. Now that right is being seriously undermined as legally registered rifles are being confiscated in some parts of our country. If we're not careful, we may find ourselves with no right to own guns. And that's where Gun Owners of America comes in. Gun Owners of America is in Washington every day fighting for you to keep that right. Congressman Ron Paul has called GOA the only no-compromise gun lobby in Washington. You need to be part of this great grassroots group of activists who are keeping the heat on their members of Congress. Find out right now how you can join. Call 888-886-GUNS and get started receiving their fact-filled newsletters and action alerts. Call 888-886-GUNS or go to their webpage at gunowners.org and help make your voice heard in Washington.
