Mark Koernke and co-host Darrell discussed main battle rifles (MBRs) as primary infantry weapons, comparing the effectiveness of the M1 Garand and .30-06 cartridge to modern assault rifles like the M16 and M4, emphasizing superior range and stopping power. The show addressed caller Krishna's dilemma about re-enlisting in the military, with Koernke advising against service given current geopolitical risks and the use of troops for purposes contrary to constitutional defense. Callers George and Krishna also discussed preparedness for natural disasters like flooding, affordable surveillance equipment, and the importance of border security. The final segment critiqued Hollywood's influence on firearm safety through unrealistic depictions in films like "Wanted," stressing that accuracy and proper marksmanship fundamentals—not volume fire—are essential in actual combat situations.
I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. in home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, in home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright as Iowoki vanished in the midst for whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now his tyrants trampled, each God-given right. We only watched him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave to dill the land of the people? One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west, southwest, east, and central. This is the second hour of the Intelligence Report and you're also hearing us on We the People Radio Network, wtprn.com, Liberty Tree Radio, mg.com, and you will find us on AM and FM major stations, AM and FM micro stations, CB base stations and ultra net technologies both. Weapons Wednesday. You've got Darrell here with me right now and we're going to be going over a number of different subjects. Of course, first hour we covered the basic arguments. Well, once in a while arguments is just the concept of using the main battle rifle, the MBR as a primary arm, and the fact that it's a dominant weapon in the both the militia and the general population. Now what is an MBR? Main battle rifle Well, let's go back a little bit. Most of you have seen the basic main battle rifles, high-powered cartridges, the 1903 Springfield World War I, 1917 Enfield, the M1 Garand of World War II, which of course was part of a combined family of weapons. We had a main battle rifle, the M1 rifle, and we also had, of course, replacing the 1903 Springfield in the earlier stages of the war, supplemented by other arms. We had the M1 carbine, of course, magazine fed. We had as a submachine gun both the Thompson and later the Grease gun. And we had the Ricing with the Marine Corps early on. We then had also the BAR, Browning Automatic Rifle, a mainstay from the very, very, very end of World War I. And the Browning 1919A4 machine gun in one configuration or another and of course for vehicle or for squad mount or whatever. Anyway, the point is that in World War II, we had a wide range of weapons and there was actually a process whereby troops kind of gravitated toward the weapon they were best suited for. In the NATO period following World War II, we of course looked for in search for a .308 battle rifle. The NATO went one way with their weapons, we went another with the M14. uh... and that was the last amin battle rifle truly adopted most people forget that even though uh... and again there was a true through all of the amount even though we carried the m sixteen e one m sixteen a one x m one seven seven submachine guns slash what we now call the m for the car fifteen uh... even though we carried those the m fourteen remained the primary battle rifle for the united states military through the vietnam era and would be perceived as the first weapon used in, for instance, a European conflict. And there were many, many millions of these rifles made and in service, even as the M14 was in service in the 60s and through the 70s. The M1 Garand was still in service with many, many national guard and state defense forces across the United States and in little corners here and there with the Navy. We the m16 of course is a different family of weapons and that is an assault. It's an assault rifle It is an in-between cartridge Basically a carbine type cartridge it has less range does not have the effective energy at greater ranges than MBR has And so what's interesting is that progressively, as the regular militaries have gravitated towards these light rifles, in fact they've gone away from submachine guns, which they've kind of gone up to the assault rifle, and away from the MBR, which means they've gone down. These other weapons have become inventory arms in many other parts of the world, but also here in the United States, for instance, the MBR is in virtually everybody's hands. Now what this does is it shifted the battlefield and shifted the effective range, the effective range ability of all forces versus our enemy. Most people say, well, but they have a lot of other heavier weapons, guys. The infantryman is what wins the battle and it's the infantryman that's the focus of pretty much all those weapons that are out there. And point to point contact, remember, the .30-06 reaches, has an effective range three times that. of the standard M16A2 or shall we say the M4 carbine or M4 rifles are calling it Darryl in its latest configuration. These heavy weapons give us a major edge. Now we haven't even counted in the idea that how many, well Darryl, how many sporting arms are out there that are saying 338? And when Magnum, 75H and H-Mag, how long calling? And going to gunsmithing school down in Pittsburgh here, the troops in the effectiveness of the M1 Grand. M1 Grand with an standard armor-piercing bullet. The concrete wall that was six inches thick, hit shot. First round went through it, then each succeeding round opened the hole up. So that was through six inches of cement. They took it and they took a German captured German helmet and put a shelf on the back of a tree that was about 12 inches in diameter and shot at it from 100 yards and that standard ball animal, not the armor piercing, standard ball animal went through the 12 inch tree and through both sides of the helmet. So if you want an effective range and effective hitting power, you've got to remember that the 30-06 has the ability to take the enemy out out to 12 to 1,500 yards. An interesting thing about this too is that we've had these comments made by some of these kids. Oh, obsolete! Obsolete! Obsolete! Obsolete! Now, guys, let me ask you something. How many of those obsolete weapons were used in World War II and how many people were killed by them? Okay, now let's count Korea. And let's look at it this way. The garand was still in service extensively even into the beginning and middle of Vietnam in one form or another and with one force or another. In fact, a lot of Special Forces troops carried the garand, as did the known mercenaries that worked for Special Forces. They would prefer the Garand over many many other firearms and they had virtually thousands of arms and most of the Special Forces armories to choose from to including that new wonder black plastic weapon the m16 e1 in the early days of the war in fact they came along with a case of 21 of the guys I know was in first special forces they saw the rifle For the first time we said, hey, check these out. We got a case of 20 of them in the armory now. Everybody said, nah, I think I'll stick with my M3 carbine. M2 or M3 carbine, depending on what they were carrying. And again, that's a much lighter rifle than the M1 rifle. We know that. But the Garand was very popular for just this reason. Its ability to reach out at great range and stay the enemy's movement. And this is something that it can still do today, along with all of the other rifles, and that in that particular niche as a main battle rifle cartridge, it reaches farther, offers the same amount of hitting power as these lighter rifles at closer range, but at 2, 3, and 4 times the range of all of those weapons. The 30-06 myself is a... even though it's like the fact of the matter is, you can hit the enemy. guard i don't care what the military says i know they train these guys say well they're good for six hundred meters and all that kind of stuff well yeah you can wobble bolt bullets at six hundred meters but the effectiveness of that fifty five or seventy seventy two grade bullet now that they're using you did a hundred and fifty or hundred sixty five green thirty out six months And we're looking at again, felt energy and penetration, which is another important issue. With regard to the main battle rifles, this doesn't mean we're telling you to throw out your AKs, throw out your ARs or whatever. No, no, no, no, just reverse. Understand that we can create an effective combined arms infantry, allows us to take advantage of the potential of each rifle marksman. Now, as I mentioned, World War II, one of the things that happened, you know, there was a family of weapons that were available, and people had a tendency to gravitate towards what they were competent with or comfortable with. Example, as I mentioned, you know, we're looking at the Thompson, the submachine that was in there, the Browning and BAR. There are men I know that carried the BAR. You couldn't pry it out of their hands. We were issued the BAR in the 70s as a Special Forces Detachment. We had two of them. And, you know, And after we got hold of them, we we cool and release them. I think we have a caller, by the way. I heard something to George from Florida. Oh, OK. Well, let's I'll tell you what let's do. Let's jump George from Florida in there real quick. George, jump in there. Hey, how are you, Mark? Hey, what's going on? All right. Have you heard anything about reports coming out of Iowa about the team are using the local police as sandbags for him to go? break down people's doors? Well, as a matter of fact, we know that in Iowa they evacuated a whole bunch of people and they're just now letting them return to their ruined homes. Just there's a piece right here on the front page of the Ann Arbor News and there's something else we want to cover there too. 24,000 people. Now I would not doubt, in fact I wouldn't doubt at all, that something like what we had happen here, remember a couple months ago, just happened again with forcible removal even though they'll try to claim it wasn't. uh... we don't know how many of that again we don't have any spot reports yet but i'm sure that they'll filter out all that they perform the same type of actions were the evacuate the site and then went to a ransacked the houses after the fact after they move your body off-site no no you don't have a time to take anything everybody out here or really going to leave let's go while they're gone their kick in the doors in and stealing you know jewelry money weapons Afterwards, those people who didn't have a damaged house will find that their weapons have been damaged because that's what happened the last time. It's intentional, scalduggery is going on. Would you recommend, like I say, for the militia units that ever get into where it's going to be flooding and get up to bad news that they would have them evacuate before their valuables? Well, I would rate it. We covered this for the last couple days here. That's exactly my policy as far as the general activity goes. First of all, better safe than sorry. Pack up. In other words, you should have your 72-hour kit squared away. You should be ready. We're looking at the hurricane season down on the coast again. You don't wait until everybody else is on the road because then you'll be on the road parked with them eating up your gas, looking at the person's bumper in front of you for hours and hours and hours on end. Instead, yes, they should have rally points, and again, listen carefully, even in Florida where you are, common sense would dictate that you move inland or move away from the coastal areas, obviously, and if at all possible, organize with other people to a friendly location. It could be nothing more than another person's house, but it'll put you in a better position than most people who have to evacuate. And this is a very positive situation. Also again, taking your valuables with you. One of the things that I would recommend, some people do this, other people don't think about it but till the last minute. plywood cut for the size of all of your windows isn't that big a deal, you can get chipboard fairly cheap nowadays. Have it already cut, have it already drilled, so all you have to do is go out with a battery drill and go, and you can box the whole house in and secure it. A majority of, you know, of what, with what needs to be done within a matter of minutes and then evacuate the site. Take stereo, George. We got Darrell Mark, we'll be back in about three minutes. We all know that knowledge is power. We've tried to give you knowledge to help you prepare for rough times. There's the worldwide famine and our country's dependence on often dangerous food imports. This is the Intel Report and we have Poker Face right there in the background, pokerface.com, www.pokerface.com. And we have George. George, anything else we have other callers? Yes, I just found another solution, people that's pretty inexpensive. PBS Pharmacy, for $30, have disposable can quarters. I repeat, disposable can quarters. How much? How much again? $30 for disposable camcorders. That's not bad at all for those really. $30 for the disposables. Digital I'm sure, right? Yes. And the pharmacy name again is? CVS Pharmacy. Oh, you crinkled up on us, so hold still and do that again. CVS Pharmacy. There we go, thank you. And again, $30 approximately. So everybody else needs a spot check. You may find them. uh... different uh... different prices depending where in the country now there is a model that myers thrifty acres as here in michigan in the midwest that runs a little more but it's reusable as a excellent audio pickup basically it's just a cell phone call of cell phone camera system but it's new it's just built as a modular camera fits in the pocket and can be programmed it can be rewinding r programed over many times i have action definitely i assume But very clean picture, the biggest thing you got to remember is slow down when you pan. Panning is where you go left to right, right to left. Don't go, in other words, you may have to, but something you want to catch quickly. But if you're trying to observe an area, remember to slow down because that little camera turns really fast. So you want to move your arm to actually pan and sweep the area to get the whole image. And if you're trying to cover a wide range of subjects in a certain target area that's fairly big. That's most important about those little cameras. Even on the cell phone cameras, a lot of people are using them and having the same problem. They don't realize it. So experiment a little and watch your camera work. Do a little camera work that's independent. Watch to see what product you produce and then adjust your motions accordingly. But you've got to stay focused on a combination of things. The target and also the camera itself. Make sure the thumbs and fingers are out of the way. Most common mistake made because they're little lenses and they're little microphone pickups. So you've got to get used to putting your hands and fingers in a certain location so you don't interfere with the equipment. This stuff works beautifully. So that's an excellent idea, George. Very good. Okay. We also have, let's see, we have Krishna in California. Krishna, jump in there, please. Hello, Mark. Hey, what's going on? Well, I was going to say, first of all, I love your equipping for the New World orders. One and two. Question. I think you probably be the best one. Please. This is my situation. I have the Army a couple of years ago. Two years of not being able to go back into the Army. Taking people's guns, oppressing my own. I can't do that. And I can't fire on American soldier in the Army. There's a couple of different options. First of all, are you already signed back up on contract? I'm a couple days from doing that. Yes. You haven't done it yet. You're not on contract yet, right? You haven't re-upped. Okay, you absolutely have to do that. Yeah, I don't have any other choice. Well, I would recommend heading east. I know that sounds worth it. I used to say, go west, young man, go west. I would recommend either going north up the coast into, say, like Washington State or heading towards Arizona and actually looking to see what you can find out. I know that probably the illegals have snuffed up a lot of the jobs, but Still, there's like around Phoenix, Scottsdale area, there may still be opportunities there. But I would say at this time, and just for the same reason I brought up the last hour, we can touch it, taste it, and smell it. I've had a lot of people, and we've all been experienced in the Patriot effort for a long, long, long time. And you get to the point where you know when the skunks are up to something, you get a smell, you can tell by the movement in the grass, so to speak. There are certain telltale indicators. And so rather than you being put into that position, I would recommend that you make the effort to step, step left, or you know, like I said, step north or go right, but shop around a little bit. If you're in, are you in central California? Go into Bakersfield. Go up to Bakersfield in that area. I know they don't, they're not super busy, but there are people up there and you can find opportunities with a Patriot effort in one form or another if you look around. there's broadcasting up that way and there are people that have churches that are operating all kinds of different projects. The reason I say not going in, in the past I helped, I didn't recruit, but I have trained many, many tens of thousands of men. And for the first time in many, many years, I cannot see it being an honorable situation for you because of the question you asked, and it's a correct one. How are we going to be used? Are we going to be used to defend the country? No. Our soldiers are going to be used and they're being conditioned right now along with the fact that they've been conditioned to be working with mercenaries. Mercenaries are the lowest of the low situation for us because they do not conform to the UCMJ. They are owned by their private contractor and again, their private corporation. They are a threat to every soldier out there because their actions will reflect on you. So you're put at risk. Every mercenary out there in all these prostitutes, spook and kook operations are why Abu Ghraib went the way it did. the red look who got stuck with it was at the was at the ci a spoke that came in and murdered people in the back shower was at the most odd agent who got busted no some pissed by excuse me forgive me some some low-level corporal who he as you know corporals they don't have anything you know to show for themselves so to speak guys come on where was the lieutenant in charge where was the captain in charge where was the general in charge of the formation Those people have the responsibility and not one of them is going behind bars. And they knew the nature of what was happening at Abu Ghraib. That's an example of putting our soldiers at an unacceptable risk in a situation where they should never have been put in the first place and every one of those men and women of responsibility failed the rank and file enlisted men and women involved. So that's why I would say don't go. I'm serious. If you have to skim by for the moment, I would ask that you do that. Because the other problem is I'm turning you against the American people. You see what I mean? Sorry. Uh, Mark. Go ahead, please. Uh, we got you. You're there. Sorry, I guess we had a little bit of interference. I was in the Army. I was in Fort Hood, American people, from street gangs, all these party members, before they flew. But you have the Patriots in the Army who take away my guns. I can't enforce martial law, and I'm not going to. you have those other other so larger cadre understand what you're saying and it's but the member there should be open stairs the living your situation you're free of the connection right now and i know what you're saying but the problem is there and it's it's because of how late the game it is up but here you can't react to your asking a good question And Darryl, you're still there? Yep, I'm still here. Well, we got some special stuff to cover here, guys, especially bullet twisting, which we're going to get to in a little bit. But right now, Christian, stay where you are. This is Mark and Darryl. And we'll be back in three minutes with the people from Radio Network. Since 1988, Herbal Healer Academy has been the global supplier of the finest natural medicines. Check out pokerface.com. We got Krishna here still. And again, this subject is, you know, what do we do? If you're out of the military right now, it's, and again, I know the economy's not good. But I would recommend... I would recommend staying out if you can only because it puts you in less of a risk. Here's my problem. They're trying to get us into our rant. And I really do believe that'll be one of their excuses for whatever. Where will they try to kill here? They're going to use that as the excuse to go murder Iranians next. Now, it's really sad because they don't have that much oil. But it's just the idea that you've got a bunch of characters that are manipulating one end of the Middle East or another, and they want revenge. They want money. They want gold. They want oil. They want blood, whatever. We don't need to be in the middle of it. But what's going to happen is they will take our best people and shove them there. and expend them. And we've had this argument for years in a situation like the Middle East. What happens if everything kicks loose at once? Would an army group, and I mean understanding logistics supply and also moving troops, if everything would escalate to a much, you know, higher level, our forces overseas would be stuck overseas? Which means as they've already planned we have a preponderance of foreign troops in the United States or have had them in different waves And it's obvious that that would be one of the formulas they could use to get rid of the Patriot forces Assuming that you know even for all the skunks that they've you know in they've ended you know They've infiltrated into the military in one form or another a lot of good men are still there and a lot of good women are still there many many many we have friends and the Yes, well we've got through the reserve, the guard and the regular military there are many good patriots all through the system. But my biggest concern for them is the fact that where they are now, the bad guys are going to stretch them out and away from the country. Whereas again, like you said, what would your choice be if they started to tell you we're going to go door to door for weapons? Now, my first question to every soldier listening is this. If supposedly we are fighting a yuck yuck yuck war on terror, Why isn't the American southern border shut to the point where it's like a sphincter that's so tight you can't drive a needle up it with a sledgehammer? There's the first question you got to ask. If we believe all of the BS, I was an Intel analyst. I was a 94B20 on school train, U6, graduated 13th out of a class of 33, second highest class to graduate from U6, even to this day. We hold in a significant record more postings and critical positions from my MOS class than any other that graduate. In fact, there's other fascinating history of a lot of our people. My point is, common sense, that door, that gate, that screen door that's open right now, our country at greater risk than any other threat that exists right now. And yet, it has been left wide open. So that tells me that the war on terror is a fiction. It is not a war on terrorism, it is a terrorist war by the government against the American people through manipulation. Now for every soldier out there, they gotta ask that basic question. We don't need to be overseas in the Middle East, we can finish them with a handful of people at different times, unless the job is to go steal things. And then you need a whole bunch of extra people to put a boot on people's neck while you kick in their door and steal things from their land, from under their land or whatever. Meanwhile, our borders wide open and every family in this country is at risk. If we believe, if we were to truly embrace and believe what it is that we're fighting for or supposed to be fighting for, then the first thing we should have done is turned our eyes south, turned our eyes north, secured our border effectively to ensure that no infiltration would take place so that our heartland's infrastructure would not be at risk, but that has not been the case. So that's that you... I'm sorry, go ahead, please. I don't even know. I really don't. I have no clue. I don't think we've even had it since Mexico became a country. In the 70s, we had a better... We actually... You got to remember that there was a significant change and it was intentional that proceeded with the bushes because we had a specific policy that was in place. It had been... They've been allowed to go lax. It has been tightened up at different times. We had specific formations of the 40th mechanized deployed all along the border and they were armor units for a reason for fast response and fast, you know, fast, you know, neutralization of threat. We had that back in the 70s. Unfortunately, I was born in 85. I've been thinking about what you said, Arizona, yes, there are plenty of jobs there. And their problem is I don't leave the times that I don't even pay attention to the militia guys in Arizona, like the Phoenix, bro Scottsdale. When you listen on Tuesday, you could contact Mike Neser. Okay, he remember he's with co host on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And We'll have him put on his contact numbers again tomorrow. How's that sound? Sounds good. They're militia men are actually just going to give militia unit out here actually. And they're in shows. I'm like, why are you even existing? Why do you even have guns if you're going to use them when the time comes? Just going to roll over and let them do whatever they want to use to really get everything started. Well, that's actually one of the things. In fact, forgive me. There's another thing. I've written a series of books on this. Actually, they're done as a storyline, but they're a history line too in the process. The first series of books, the first 12 were called the Dagger War. They're not really used for general issue, therefore our NBF War Academy. And what it was is to explain the processes of leading up to the actual conflict. Now we're probably going to print those publicly. There's been an issue, I've had a group that were taking care of that while it was behind the wire. The second series, which has been made public, is Battle for the Republic, which starts out with the Dance of Swords, then it goes into the Winter War, and then the third book is Dark Anniversary, which is sitting right next to me, literally touching it right there, but I have had to correct a few things back from the printer here, which has bogged me down. In each of these, I address a lot of what you're asking about, like, you know, what do you, well, first of all, and this is true, at what point, you know, is enough enough? and it is everybody everybody would like to see it and I know this is the problem everybody likes to see it a nice neat box kind of like the magic silver bullet so to speak well let's put this in perspective seven times Paul Revere made his ride at least most people don't realize that when we hear about the midnight ride of Paul Revere he didn't make just one ride He made a series of rides and in each case the militia was called up, everybody armed, units marched across to whole counties to try and get to, you know, to try but to respond to what was going on. The British realized the nature of the threat. Both sides faced off each other or moved against each other and then both sides, well, the militia didn't give any ground, the military backed off. That's why the military was trying to sneak out of Boston on April 18th. Everybody forgets that. They won it by land, two of by sea. Commanders knew they were so heavily watched that the only option they had was to try and conceal their action and to try and sort out under cover of darkness and through deception. It didn't work. Paul Revere's last ride that was most famous on April 18th, he wasn't the only one riding. It was a whole network of riders and couriers and people by word of mouth. But it went out and this time, again, for whatever reason, one person voted with about a one ounce mini ball, actually one ounce round lead ball, and the rest is history. Then a whole bunch of boats were cast back and forth, and eventually we ran the British right back to Boston. And by the way, we didn't call them the Redcoats. They were called the Regulars. The regulars are coming. The regulars are coming. That was the most common cry because the militia is military. That's the mistake that they've been conditioning us for years. The militia is the military. The regulars are the active force and have always been in the minority. Even in World War II, the militia and the population is so well-armed The General Staff of Japan had to acknowledge that they knew that their losses would be phenomenal, not because of the U.S. Army. They didn't consider the U.S. Army to be a significant threat. The perceived... I know that, Mark, but you're never going to hear about that in history. Right, exactly. But the thing about it is that, again, in this day and age, it's not all the ones, and it'd be surprised how many won't. There are going to be a great number of percentage that will surrender their arms. It's not a great percentage, but there are a percentage. There has always been that case. There's been a percentage that have stepped forward, but there are big chunks that have already decided the storm's upon us and we're going to have to face the issues now and that means also paying the price. Stay right where you are, guys. We're going to go to break here one more time. This is the Intel report. You got Darryl and Mark and we've got Christian. I'll tell you what the last stretch Christian anything else I'm gonna ask it we're gonna we're gonna one more Question or comment and I'm gonna call back tomorrow if you get a chance that good. Yes I don't I don't mean to take up your all your time. That's what I appreciate first. I appreciate your help. I appreciate your videos. I they're gonna rise up and take back their They have their SUVs. Well, we'll give them time. There's a lot of people that are organized and ready. There's a lot of people who are just now waking up. It depends where you are in the country as far as how people have been burning, and it's true. As long as people watch somebody else's ox get gored, then they're entertained by it. It's when their ox is gored that it's no longer entertainment, then it becomes a real issue. And that's what we're going to have to face. We're going to have a lot of work ahead of us. There's a lot of people that are ready and a lot of them that can see the writing on the wall. It's amazing how people are approaching me right now. It's taken a long time. People who are sometimes frustrated, some of these people have been listening quietly or passively for, what, 15 years. And again, we bought time. That's the most important thing to understand. We bought the people time. We've gotten in their face, we've been on the firing line. We've gotten it. We've gone to Washington. I mean, we have we've sat there right across from in the Senate building and we didn't blink. They did. Our inspector looked like a lost puppy at the end of the militia hearings for obvious reasons because we spit him out and what we choose, we will we choose his hind end, spit him out and left him on a curve is what it comes down to. Along with the rest of the characters that were with him. Anyway, let you go. Okay. I just want to let you know you got my support and I'll fight side by side with you when the time comes. Thank you, sir. Appreciate that. and we got blessed for a little bit of time left here i'll do it daryl you saw something and i really we gotta relate to this too and this is an example of kind of like the homie the homie shoot okay remember used to be we taught pistol marksmanship and it was reflected on television and the movies guys And then all of a sudden, the homie stance starts showing up. You take your weapon, you lay it on its side, you don't really aim, you kind of push it towards the target, you get a few extra feet per second more, and you just blaze away. Of course you don't hit anything, but you look real impressive for the camera. Well, something new is in there right now, isn't there, Darryl? Yeah, there's a movie called Wanted, with their advertising in the clips for this movie, Bending the Bullet. Now the idea is, as you're flying through the air, you're using your homie boy hold on your pistol and you fire at between you and the target, it's a bystander. And the idea is... this is while doing a double or triple somersault again after doing the somersault flexing your body in such a way that you're flying horizontally across the ground while doing the homie shoot and all doing all of that onboard math that's necessary to get that bullet despite the guys anybody who starts trying this at home you're gonna see a lot of bodies drop we can't wonder is like how Gee, Darryl, how many people do you think it took for him to figure out how to do that? Well, I don't know, but there's probably more body bags than they got in the US Army. And the biggest problem is, OK, it's one of those, please don't try this at home, people. First of all, it's a fiction. It sounds cool. But again, number one, you've got to, especially with CGI now, with all the computer technology, the biggest problem you got is you've got people doing like three-story leaps. Okay, it's not the jump-up part that hurts. It's the coming down and landing to get you. Yeah, that sudden stop at the end. And you see all this constantly. I mean, yeah, it looks great for whatever, you know, with regard to, you know, it's a fiction. But it's also true with regard to pistol marksmanship in the operation of your weapons. And this gets back to a whole issue years ago. Used to be, remember you had like the cowboy shoot, which was like an offhand of the Weaver type stances where the guy would hold the weapon and he'd throw his arm forward and kind of line the sights up and pull the trigger. And my argument was he threw his hand forward and pulled the trigger and really never aimed so he could get, it was kind of like a bull whip. You get that extra centrifugal force going and you spin that bullet in the target. Of course, we know that's not how it works. Then all of a sudden, after all kinds of mishaps and the forever firearms of the different eras, in the late 70s, early 80s, there was a demand for realism. Miami mice, still, they actually brought trainers in, talked to people how to use the weapons, and everybody was getting positive reinforcement on how to handle their arms. Problem is everybody was so just by mimicking what they were seeing on the screen you're actually seeing an increase in overall accuracy and performance even if they didn't do everything perfectly all of a sudden in the same breath the homie shoot shows up after that why. Well they didn't want the television to be a positive trainer for anyone and certainly not the general population. So all of a sudden the homie shoot starts showing up and you see this more and more progressively from popcorn B-type programs all the way up through the Class A movies where normally you would know better or they would perform better. But they changed the standard and dropped it intentionally. Now this latest thing, like you know, Darrell, the first thing you thought is, okay, somebody watches this and what happens? They're going to go out and try it. Hollywood they did it on TV you know I saw it on the radio type thing okay Fred dropped like a pancake okay John stand up there I'm gonna try this again oh heck no tie him down okay let me leave okay I gotta do the summers oh boy got him in the head what's a mess okay find me another volunteer three in a row four in a row hey that bullet spin just doesn't quite work the way they expect remember remember one thing about gun control and that's hitting your target accuracy over volume fire. You hit them once, you don't have to miss them 499 other times and try to scare them. Okay, keep in mind, in other words, this is not a video game. Okay, cumulative misses do not constitute a hit. Suppression fire is only effective when it comes to helicopters and aircraft. And sometimes with light armored vehicles and armored vehicles, because you're chewing up the soft stuff on the outside, they're gonna knock the tank out, it means you're busting stuff up that otherwise they'd like to use. Okay, but beyond that, when it comes to combat infantry marksmanship, The idea is to hit what you are aiming at. And that means focusing on all the basics. Repetition in training. Darryl, repetition, right? And use the same quality of ammo. And that's again, we had to bring this up today. I know we recovered a couple of other really important subjects and the questions are very good too. But this one we had to touch on because I can see casualties here and they're going to go, oh, look what these people are doing. Okay, wait a minute. Let's back up a bit here. If anybody in firearm circles had their way they'd hit these people with a stupid stick. Well, you know, Hollywood says they do not have any influence on society. But, you know, effectively brainwash Joe, brainwash you, people actually undo all the performance up, now performance down, okay? Yeah. Some of the things, just a real quick note on this, how many movies have you seen where these guys are on a platform? and they drop, say, almost two stories straight down and they're laying horizontal to the ground. Now, have you ever fallen like that? Fallen flat? Yes. And then to jump up and, you know, all of a sudden, either the A, they're running like an athlete or they're dumping rounds down range with, you know, actually as if they had no effect whatsoever. Now, guys, there's, you know, the thing called G-Force here. Let's just put basic gravity, okay? You might do the two-story drop horizontally, but you got to remember it's different from yeah your head's still covering the same one actually It's gonna cover a little more because your head's closer to the ground to when it hits But you know usually kind of compensate because when you're standing and you hang and you drop Remember you really don't you know your feet are? Taking in you know compensating your body length compensating for part of that that distance When you drop horizontally you feel the whole fall you don't give up. Otherwise, I'm still alive. I'm gasping for air. That's right Okay, not leaping up and yucking about it and dumping around down range and of course praying and praying and everybody else but the neighborhood with the people you're aiming at. Well, anyway, point is accuracy over volume fire is our first, is the first axiom that we teach everyone when it comes to being out on the range, when you're working with the weapons that you have. That doesn't mean that we don't dump more rounds down at certain times. We've discussed that issue before and we don't dump them anyway. We actually use specific training to put the round into a target area or into an area that may create a cold of destruction there are some situations where buying fire creates a saturation pattern. And that's an issue that we would address separately. But we're talking about, first of all, remembering you ain't got no Chinese coolie behind you. Darryl, do you have any Chinese coolies while it was gone? Nope, nope. In fact, I just got back from vacation behind me, or in the POW camp myself. So, we're basically carrying it ourselves or ain't nobody that are otherwise more than our friends and allies. Ladies and gentlemen, we are at the top of the hour at the end of weapons Wednesday here from the uh... the uh... six to seven o'clock hour, we'll be back at eight. As always, God bless the Republic. Just to the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We're on the march. You're raw. Six bad ants chasing down the road, give them a backpack full of rocks, shipping halfway back to the spiders of Sittem. Thank you, Daryl. You're welcome. Did you read this? Chicago just became the murder capital of America. I don't understand. It's been a felony to have a gun since 95. I thought that was supposed to prevent murders. Unincrease them. Criminals will always find a way to get guns, while the rest of us are just left defenseless. Chicago authorities have seized over 75,000 firearms since 1995. And now, Chicago's murder rate is twice as high as New York City. Tonight, while you're asleep, criminals will be at work. Not in Kennesaw, Georgia. In 1982, our city passed a law requiring every household to have a gun. It terrified the criminals, and our violent crime rate is now 75% below the national average. We sleep well here in Kennesaw. Americans who own guns prevent over a million violent crimes every year and save lives. Get the facts. Visit armedandsecure.org. That's armedandsecure.org. Jack the Lunt.
