Mark Koernke and Mike discussed the Minnesota bridge collapse as a symptom of government neglect and socialist mismanagement, referencing Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. The bulk of the episode focused on medical training for heat casualties, covering heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke with detailed SOAP note methodology (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan). Caller Alfie Omega contributed tactical medical advice on using carabiners and paracord for casualty evacuation, and discussed gear reinforcement and alternative cordage sources. The hosts emphasized prevention through hydration, salt and mineral replacement, and proper team leader oversight. Mike concluded with information about a terror drill in Arizona involving hostage rescue and EOD training.
I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked him through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me with a set. We fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame You've taken Satan's number You've traded in your name You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm And keep our country deep in death put men of God in jail harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevailed Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be more. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic in each God-given right, and pray to God to keep the torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished and missed from whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God-given right, we only watched him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave to dill the land of the free? West, Southwest, East, we the People Radio Network, wtprn.com and on libertytreeradio.4mg.com while we're also on AM and FM regular stations, micro stations, CB base stations and alternate technologies East and West of the Mississippi along with Tuesday's communications Tuesday and also medical Tuesday. So for a lot of you listening, remember, grab your notepads, pay attention, we got Mike up with us. I understand there's a bridge collapse took place in Minnesota. We're going to get more information, I guess, progressively on this as the day goes by. But you know, one of the first things that came to everybody's mind is just the idea that, oh, another bridge collapse. Why? All because we're not spending money on America. Oh, we're spending money on the Israelis? We've given them euros because they're American dollars anymore. Those potlickers, they want euros because they helped to ruin the American dollar and now they don't want the American dollar. We've got everybody else that we're building stuff for. Oh, like in Iraq where we're building, you know, triple walled fortifications, you know, in the green zone. In an alien country, we have no business being in the first place, which we need to leave. But we're not re-fixing our bridges here. And that P-brain we got in Washington and the bobble-headed governors we got that are going along with this need to put their foots down there. They're progressive. Because of the bobblehead and because of all the rest of the traders we have, we've got another bridge. reason is but I got this funny feeling that what just plain old just an old bridge what do you think Mike now no here's the thing and I will repeat this again I've mentioned this on the air and I do this I reinforce and repeat repeat repeat for a reason because some of you weren't listening the last time if you have not read the book Atlas Shrugged by Anne Rand I and get it and read it Atlas Shrugged by Anne Rand okay the reason was actually as is described in the timeline there, you're seeing the same nonsense here with failure to perform. Now, we don't leave this country and fix anything for anyone until we take care of our country first. However, when you have traitors in Washington and you have bobble-headed parasites that are mostly socialists in all these other state capitals, then you're going to continue to see this problem as it progresses step by step. It is not an accident. the nature of the socialist. It is the nature of the monarchal parasite, of the slavers. And that's exactly what's happening with this nonsense over and over and over and over ad nauseam. Now, Anne Rand, when she wrote the book Atlas Shrugged, what she was doing is trying to actually describe what I've said many times. And again, Alexander Solzhenitsyn is the Gulag Archipelago or the first circle. Coming Out of the Ice is another one done by another author you need to read, but that's from the Gulags about the actual operation of the police state or of the Soviet socialist system. How did it work? If you ask the average American, they don't have a clue. Why? Because the parasites in Hollywood made sure that you didn't see how it works. You can talk about Germany till you're blue in the face 60 years after the fact. But if you want to see how the Commissars worked, how the Interior Police worked, how the secret mechanisms and the rat and the snitch programs worked, well actually now you don't have to wait and look at a book, you're living it. The same rats and rodents, the same parasites and bottom feeders are the ones that have gravitated, you know, like feces in a toilet. these higher positions. Chertoff being the best example. You know, Skullface himself as they say, you know, the Skullmeister from He-Man, right? The point is that we're seeing end results with catastrophes like this that there's no excuse for them to take place. Now here's the thing, you know, Mike, we've built this massive infrastructure. Everybody wanted bigger and more and bigger and more and more and bigger, or at least, well, But the problem is replacing or maintaining. And this is something that especially with the grid across the Mississippi. What have I been talking about several times here for the last several months especially? Many times. The Mississippi is a natural demarcation line between the east and the west. How many bridges are there that cross the Mississippi River? Anybody ever counted them? You ever pay attention? Now, it's not like there's just one bridge, but, you know, Anne Rand was trying to stress that, you know, progressively as failures would take place, as incompetence with the Soviet socialists would proceed, as it always does, through graft and corruption, and with our money supply with what's going to happen is one system after another is going to be shut down. Now, in this case, it serves another overlapping purpose, just as it did in the Soviet system. for centralized control no matter what happens if you ever noticed this point uh... uh... we have a bridge clap we have a police state well we had a a fire in refinery it was called because of you know incompetence we need a bigger police state uh... we had an accident on the expressway we need a bigger police state notice the socialist that's the only answer more evil retentive control not cases demanding more and more and more power So watch and see how there's going to be committees, there'll be committees talking to committees, there'll be 72 meetings by the time they're done to discuss what happened, and when they're finished it will never see the light of day, nor will there be any actual coverage in the news about, okay, and this is true of all the actions involved, but Atlas Shrugged by Ann Rand, don't go and buy a new copy, you don't have to, go to the used bookstore, find a used copy, okay? Go to the used bookstores first. save money. You'll have more money to buy ammunition or medical supplies, right? I think that's our purpose. We're trying to help you out here. We're not complaining about the problems. We're also preventing by presenting. And that's where Mike comes in. So, Mike, real quick here. Well, what are we going to be covering today? Well, today I have a little alert of what's going on here in the state of Arizona. We're going to be covering on first and diabetic emergency. And we're going to recap some things about heat injuries. It was one that I was doing all the other day, trying to cram. Most important is, you will be stressing is, we don't want to have to treat a casualty of this type. We want to, now this ties in with something that we've tried to explain. If you are a team leader, if you're a fire team leader, first of all, a lot of people are asking, how do we organize militia units? And a lot of people are organizing new militia fire teams and squads, exactly what we've asked you to do. This is great. But I want to remind you something, a lot of you have been in the service before. It is the job of the fire team leader and the squad leader to keep an eye on their men. Now, this means that you're watching and observing for certain problems. You know the characteristics and the nature of each of the people that's in your team. In some cases, they're either going to be family members or they're going to be men that you have known for many years. So you know their normal activity. In many cases you don't think about it, but you actually are pretty well working off each other. You bounce off each other's personalities, okay? Well, a squad leader and fire team leader's job is to pay attention to make sure that nobody's slipping off into a bad medical situation. And one of the areas where this can be a real problem, first, we just came out of cold weather. And cold weather, hypothermia, frostbite, all those issues are something that we're stepping away from for the moment, but now we're going into a different period. and heat casualties are just as much of a problem. Now with heat casualties, first thing is loss of water and tying that in with loss of minerals. Okay, because when you sweat, Mike, you lose a lot more than just moisture, don't you? You bet. So what we're looking at here is a situation where you, it's not like this was 50 years ago, you have to improvise. There are all kinds of solutions off the shelf. that if you, you can either do it yourself or if you want to you can go out and literally find the material that you need to, you know, actually not only just rehydrate with water but actually throw the minerals back in that you're pushing virtually out of your pores and into your clothing. Another thing, and I know that people are going to go, oh, we don't need salt. We, the reason salt is a problem with our present society is because most of our people don't work for a living. Okay, they don't exert themselves. If you are physically laboring constantly, you are consuming salt and it is being pushed through the system. The body uses it a number of different ways and actually expirates it in different systems, you know, with different systems to include the pores. So you're going to lose a certain amount of salt. Salt replenishment is part of the mineral resource that needs to be pushed back into the system. And this is where, again, if it's part of your storage system, Iodized salt is critical. The only reason it's iodized is because people typically don't get enough iodine through natural consumption of what they eat. So the iodized salt helps to prevent a whole plethora of other little problems that can develop and crop up. you're depleting more of the salt and iodine and many other minerals are being pushed out of the system that are already a trace system, you know, trace element to begin with. They're not in massive amounts in the body, but the amounts that are there are needed. So we've got to look at replenishing it. So Mike, I'll tell you what we're going to do, because we're going to go to break about five minutes. Go ahead and jump in there. We're looking at a situation where what's the temperature down that way right now? Well, actually, we had a little snap here. The jet stream moved way to the south and now it's kind of curving southward along the California coast, looping up underneath the low, and then the jet stream's moving almost north to south across. It might even rain today, and it's, I don't know, it's in the mid 80s right now. I'll break out the park in Arizona, it's 80 degrees. But Joe, you know, you're talking about the salt replacement, if question about it, after you've been outside doing any work or hiking. or the next morning when you go to put it back on the rim of the hat and all those white, the pung on there and tell me what it tastes like. That's right. Yeah. Vitalis. Well, the other flavor, the other thing in there is that tanginess that is salt. So that's exactly a good point. And we'll find it with the clothing. Let's say we're going to do it. We're going to go to break here. This is the Intel report. We're looking at, again, thermal casualties. It's going to get warmer. Arizona, like many parts of the country, is dry. So you can actually be dying of dehydration, not realize it because the moisture, the salt, the perspiration is getting pulled off your body just as quick as it hits, as it leaves the pores. So we got to be ready before it becomes a problem. This is Mark, and we've got Mike. We'll be back in about three minutes with the people at Radio Network. Greetings, I am Dr. Buell Von Schite with the White Paper Comicals. Mr. Steve Schenck with this fearless radio program is correct when he says the solution to our difficult times is to store food and get healthy. My comrades and I, the media, don't want you to panic. We, unlike fearless radio, try not to tell you about the food control legislation. Hurricane Katrina, the American famine, families unable to buy food. If we told you the solution to all these problems is food, you'd panic and run out and buy a food before it disappeared. Or you couldn't afford it. You'd completely mess up the perfect strategy for population control and they'd kick us out of the survivors club. You are a city chicken if you call JMS eFoodsDirect.com and order food. If I have a tendency to go write out these notes longhand, and P is the plan. On top of your notes, for the key, the left-hand column, I want you to write the word S, then write go, this is right, your body. You have voluntary and involuntary. Your diaphragm, you'll eat your breathing, your hearts on your eye, automatically adjust without you having to think. Normally, your leg muscles, your arm muscles, your neck muscles, things, the brain, these muscles going to have under S, you're going to have pain-carry muscles, that patient about with their arms and legs drawn up is usually high. We go down to O, and that's your objective findings. What you instead of writing blood pressure and we're just going to abbreviate that. And the temperature abbreviated as a T elevated. We're going to have the T going to use a little arrow pointing up. The next one under our soap to be your appearance or your diagnosis. T in our soap. How we are going to treat this patient. Treatment is going to be we're going to remove the patient. What we're going to try to do is to give it in the form of balance, the one IV of abbreviate that by just writing IVNS and then write 500,000cc or cute or so. All that's going to do is draw out the next one. We're switching gears here so pay attention. This is the next one now. We're going to go back to our heading and the next heading is going to be key at the end of your paper. Then you're going to write out S and then write O and then write A or next to S. Subject find what the actual page with that is called. and vomiting which can be abbreviated N and V with visual disturbances. And then occasionally you may have cramps of the extremities or your abdominal muscles can occur. I'll cover over S one more time. The obvious sign is going to be perfused sweating, diaphoresis, wet and pale skin, abbreviated HA, vertigo, in coordination, drowsiness, extreme weakness, anorexia, N and V, visual disturbance, and occasionally you may have cramps of the extremities or the abdominal muscles. Now next to S is you're going to be your objective findings. What you see upon examining the patient is you're going to have the temperature taken up early. It could be subnormal, below or elevated. And then the rectal temperature. And when you take the temperature, you need to put a note next to it where it was taken. The T and then next to that in the parenthesis, you put it. When you pass person up to the next higher level of medical care, they know where the temperature was taken. You will get a fluctuation between an oral and axial down and also the time that it was put. If you take the temp by mouth, if it can possibly be subnormal or slightly elevated. It is usually elevated between 101 degrees, somewhere between 140 and 200, and the blood pressure is usually lower, so it will put DP with an arrow pointed downward. And then your appearance would be heat exhaustion and your differential diagnosis would be heat cramps or heat stroke. And when we get back from the break, we're going to cover our plan of attack on the treatment of this patient. I thank you for listening today and you can lay your pencils down and stay tuned for the next one. survivalists. The army navy store from your memory as a child is just that. A memory. And in on demand, this is We The People Radio Network. This is the Intel report that poker face of poker face calm. Www dot poker face calm get ahold of the guys Check out their music and get some because you need it especially for our mech forces We go into the field we play our music. We don't play something else. Somebody else did we're using our stuff go to war Anyway, we real quick here. We have Alfie Omega waiting in the wings We're gonna bring him up in a second got Mike Neser here covering heat casualties Well the prevention of heat casual important. We got to prevent it before it happens because treating afterwards is only because we failed to observe. Now, you probably said, as soon as Mike said, well, you know, IV, IV, where am I going to get an IV from? Well, I'll give you some suggestions. Number one, saline is not that hard, not restricted in any way, guys, by the way. You can go to, if you know any friends or somebody who's into medical supply warehousing in any way, if they're working as salesmen or whatever, companies have outdated stocks. Now, with the war overseas, they probably have a premium on dumping them on third world markets, but there's always excess laying around. There's always stuff that's outdated. There's nothing wrong with it. What you can do is you can set up butterflies, butterfly packs, along with everything you need. And the saline pouches, and have them already pre-packaged and carry them one per person, one per man in your fire team, in an M16 mag pouch. Now, that means, yes, you take them straps that are dividing the mags out, you're not going to use those. But if you find used mags like you can get at mainmilitary.com. Main Military, they're one of the sponsors here. Remember we've mentioned them for quite some time. They got used M16 mag pouches for a very good price. Check out their closeout section and you pick up a handful of them for one for each person. You also need them for your Mini-14s or ARs. Each you designate one each person for medical support, you make sure you put a saline pouch in there along with a butterfly, along with all the rest of the tape and everything else, just a little roll, go out, find your bulk suppliers, everybody's got what they need ready to go. So there is a solution, there are ways to deal with this. You have different sources out there, take advantage of them. Also again, getting fluids into the person any way we can anyway is another point. So we just want to touch on that. Remember, if you can't do IV, now you don't flood them because obviously we don't want a detrimental result here. You know, there are different issues that may develop because of that. But what you can do is continue to introduce more fluid into the system. There's little Gatorade packs. There's all kinds of the stuff you can mix in with the water. You get the very least sugar, till more in. And if I throw the carbohydrate in there in the process. But that's again dependent upon team policy and Mike's going to cover that a little more extensively here in a minute. But we have Alfie Omega who called in. Alfie, jump in there please. Uh oh. Live radio. Live radio. Alfie, are you there? There we got you. Go right ahead. There we are. Remember, you got to put one arm up above you, twist the other leg sideways and touch the wall. That's what I'm doing right now. Go right ahead please. First of all, I just wanted to say to Mike, sorry I didn't call you, you tried to call me after the show. Number two, Marc, you talked about dummy courting your gear the other night. One of the things we learned at the last meetup here in April was a system they're using in Iraq. They're taking a regular care and 30 foot of paracord or the compass pouches, and then the paracord through the bottom drain hole in the compass pouch and tying that off to the web gear. Bring the compass pouch on the back of the harness or your Y harness, either one of the two with an Alice clip. You roll up the cord, set from the carabiner, put it all inside. It serves two purposes, like you were saying, if you had to get rid of your gear, dump it in the water, or you say you're going to climb a large cliff or something where you don't put your gear on, you can just attach the carabiner to yourself and continue to move, then pull up later. The other thing they're using this for is a rack. And one thing I've been trying to come up with for medical was a way to go and get my guy, get out of the line of fire, get back to cover and still be able to recover the wounded guy. So what you have to do there is you just roll the guy over, you reach into his compass pouch, you grab the carabiner, take off like a bandit, get the cover, or you've got 30 foot of room that you can move before you actually get taught on that paracord. and pull the guy with the paracord out of the line of fire so that you can in turn get to some cover and recover the patient at that point. Exactly. Actually, this is something that all the guys were wondering why I had cases of carabiners. And I've issued out almost two cases here in the last couple of, actually, four months or so. We've had hundreds of them and that's one of the reasons that everybody carries one because it's the utility attachment item that goes on the belt where it's secured to the person. And it's a technique that's very straightforward. You get, that's exactly how it should be used. You can use the medical pouch or you can use whatever other improvised pouch. Sometimes they had a lacing system that was kind of intricate but worked too. This is a good idea and this is exactly what we need people to do. what they've just, if you're in an urban environment, what they've decided is that they need 30 foot to get out of the street. So if you're on the other side of the street, it's about 30 to get to the other side of the street to get to another building. So feet should be your minimum for that. And again, the only thing that works and will fit in that compass pouch is the paracord. I've tried some different heavy duty antler that we use it as a higher breaking strength. However, it's two. fit. It won't wad up and fit in there with the carabiner. So paracord, the paracord can be used for multiple things. Same with the carabiner. I think everybody should have at least one of those, if not two, on their gear. That should be SOP. Yep. Now a matter of fact, another place. There are two types of cord. One is paracord, but I'll tell you what, another trick. Air Force pressure suits. You know, the G Force pressure suits. The lacing that goes up the side of each leg is about 40 to 50 feet by the time you're done. A little less, maybe as little as 30 feet. It depends on how long the leg is on the suit. A lot of those, all of them in the US are decommissioned and butchered. Then they're sold as cloth scrap and a lot of guys who have surplus stuff have these suits laying around with gashes in them. You can usually get them for nothing. What they're worth is for that cord that's in the leg on both sides which laces up to create the pressure, the compression that's necessary in the suit itself. That lace is also part of the survival equipment that the pilot is trained to use. It's a finer cord that's as tough as regular parachute cord so it takes up less space. So that's another place to get more core to this type. And this stuff is incredibly durable. I've got to get all my gear, anybody who knows my equipment, all my backpack. This is what I use for all of the lanyards on all the equipment because it's lighter weight. It's, you know, again, if you can get good parachute cord, go ahead and run with it. But if you see these things, because a lot of places where there's surplus, these G-Force pressure suits, they're like a skeletonized pant and there's a vest and shirt system that goes on the top. In the US, they won't let them sell those to the American public, so they cut them and butcher all of the diaphragms and everything. But the cool thing is, they don't cut any of the lacing and cord that's in the G4 suits. Try to grab those if you can, because they're a very fine, fine interwoven cord, just like the paracord. But they're smaller. They're half the dimension in girth. The other thing that we found out doing some testing on that is a lot of these vests that you're buying that are 40 bucks, you're going to take the load. So you're going to re-enforce them somehow because they're going to snap right off. If you're waiting on that for saving your life so somebody can grab you by the back of your gear and you've bought one of those vests, take the time now and get it double sewed, triple sewed, put another piece of material on there and sew over it and get that thing fortified because those are going to snap And as soon as that guy reaches down to grab ahold of you and take off, that cord's going to break and you're going to be left there and now there's no way to grab ahold and get you without taking you and putting them over your shoulders. So another thing to think about. Very good. One of the things there is sheeted canvas. There's different grades. Go to your tent supply.
