Mark Koernke discussed practical preparedness and alternative transportation solutions on Monday, May 5, 2008. He detailed his experience testing a 48-80cc moped conversion system for bicycles, emphasizing fuel efficiency (35-42 mph, minimal fuel consumption) and cost savings compared to traditional vehicles. Koernke explained the economics of vehicle ownership, property rights issues with state-titled vehicles, and strategies for reducing transportation costs through multi-vehicle approaches. He also covered hemp-based biofuels as alternatives to petroleum, criticized monopolistic oil companies, and discussed fuel degradation issues in current gasoline supplies. The show included caller Andrew from Ohio reporting on gun show outreach efforts, and Koernke provided detailed guidance on cleaning cosmoline-covered military surplus firearms, particularly emphasizing proper disassembly and use of inexpensive cleaning supplies for weapons like AK-pattern rifles and M1 Garands.
I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked him through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat. And speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Both sons of the republic arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the supreme law of the land, preserve our great republic and each god given right. And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As I awoke he vanished and missed the once he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free? West, Southwest, East, and We the People radio network, wtprn.com, that's we, we're also on Liberty Tree radio, dot 4mg.com, and major stations, A-Minute and Microstations, CB Base stations, and alternate technologies, Mississippi and, in part, Alaska, Pearl. Monday, it has been a busy weekend, it has been a non-stop weekend, starting us, and I want to say thank you again to all of our friends that helped out, well, appreciate all the people that attended, got a chance to check out the, uh, Moped conversion system. I wrote it myself. We did have a problem with it. Not a major problem It was a master chain link or here for the chain The gentleman who put together had done some maintenance taking everything apart put it back together before we brought it down He's run this thing and run and run and run it a test and check everything just to be safe Well didn't quite put the master link back in place properly. And so we lost the chain when I was driving it and before we actually had the rest of the instructional class, which wasn't a problem because everything went well with the class anyway. It was late in the day on a Saturday. It was a little fun time. I actually sent a team out to look for parts. Didn't catch anybody we could catch fast enough to get to before the door closed. I did get a chance to drive the machine. Personally, I loved it. I've driven bicycles since I was what, probably seven years old, okay. And I've had many different bikes, got a pile of bikes here. Not all of them are working. Some of the stuff we just pick up for either parts or for other tool purposes. That's nice about bike frames are awfully handy, but we do have a lot of bikes are operational here The standard V frame cross cross country bike for the conversion system the system itself is a 48 CC and up to an 80 CC There's two models the model we had here. I think was the larger of the two the unit itself very quiet, very comfortable, easy to operate. Interestingly enough, for some people, one question was, well, what happens if the engine were to run away on you? Well, number one, there is a kill switch. It's part of the kit. It automatically works. You push the red button, it automatically works and shuts the motor off. But one of the other things I pointed out is that there's a fuel shut off and there's a little carburetor you can adjust right below your, right in the middle of your thighs there, right on the frame. You've got about three different ways you can stop the bike. Obviously there's brakes. I mean, it's just a matter of thinking through the process. And it actually is a very easy, comfortable system to operate. And again, like I said, fairly quiet. Most important with these moped bicycle conversions is the fuel savings combined with the idea that you've got some good speed involved here. But where I really see it, now I have a chance to test this thing. especially for you people who are in hilly areas where, well, man, I can ride a bike to work, but it's a real work uphill. Well, this eliminates that problem because it takes you right up the hill at regular speed, 35 miles an hour, and you could coast down the other end, shut the motor off, and lay an idle with the clutch in. Then when you get to the bottom of the hill, we release the clutch in. We're right back in service again. So this is really a cool little machine, a very simple package. and we'll have more information on it, but I get a chance to see it. Love the way it's the final assembly, the way it is. And again, it wasn't even done with new anything. Other than the kit itself, everything was done with hand-me-down parts, a hand-me-down bike frame, as far as making the conversion for the first model that we wanted to test, and even putting a set of cross-country forks on the front so it had a little bigger suspension system. And the person who has been doing the test driving also put the kit together. What's interesting is as you pointed out he's been taking it cross-country So this doesn't limit you to the road if you had to get off the road Let's say you're good at map reading which we've covered here on the Intel report and by the way I'm gonna touch on that in a second map reading is critical, but understanding that you know the basic waterways where they are where the streams are Instead of having to go through a checkpoint why not be able to cut across long before you get to the choke points in a road and and actually ford a waterway wherever you want to. The Urine River for instance is all through our area here and there are many places that are natural fording points go all the way back to the Indian days. You can literally walk across the river and get no more than your knees wet during the average season. Now when it's rainy season or in the late spring or when you get into certain times in the fall obviously with a lot more runoff from rain or whatever. the water table goes up, but you can still cross there. And this bike is very easy to transport. It is very friendly. If the motor ran out of fuel because you weren't paying attention, it still works as a regular bicycle complication there either. Now, the other thing about running out of gas, one of the things that the engineer pointed out is he ran for the first several days, he wasn't even paying attention. He'd only put one, like cup, basically a real heaping cup of gasoline, literally like you said, a teacup. in the tank and he'd been testing it, running it around, adjusting things, you know, playing with it and wanting to see what he could do with it, and realized he hadn't put any fuel in the tank other than the cup of gas that he'd put in it. And he'd run it for almost three days before he went, I better fill the tank up. I'm gonna get out in the middle of nowhere and have to drive back. And so, actually, I think he did have that happen once where he actually had forgotten. And he ended up having to drive the bike back, you know, normally because he'd gone out so far and he was playing with it. He wasn't thinking he was, you know, he was close to being empty on fuel. So there again, that's like any vehicle, pay attention to the fuel gauge, okay? Or check the fuel. Otherwise, the other thing we're looking at with this little vehicle is a trailer hitch, trailer configure package, but also for mechanized light infantry. Little cavalry bike. It's just like Swiss mountain bicycle troops which are very much in existence today and the bicycle itself again it doesn't require any grass or hay easy to maintain use your usual repair kit or spare kit with it to make sure you get your spares set up and ready to go well there's gonna be a little saddle package it goes on behind the behind the driver it's going to be like an over-the-back wheel system which is a good idea anyway be nice to have a little fender a lot of these cross-country bikes don't have fenders as soon as we get those we'll follow up on that and actually have little videotape imagery the whole nine yards. We videotaped the class this weekend. It's going to be up on YouTube. You'll get a chance to see the basic system and how it was put together. We're all very satisfied with it. The biggest problem I have is spade in China. Looked at it right away and said, hey, guys, how hard would this be for our machinists to make? And immediately, you know what, the guy who was, you know, damn, we're talking, you know, back in shop days when we had real decent, we're talking industrial shops in junior high school would put any high school shops to shame. We're talking state, not state of the art by today's standards, but state of the art of the day. And we used to build in junior high single piston motors. I hadn't thought about that. He made me think, you know, you're right. We actually, you know, every person had a different proud part of the project. The way that shop teacher did it is he gave each person a job on the plane or the mill the lathe and what we all did is between us we made a little well must have been no bigger than I would say an 18 cc or 20 cc engine all done in 41 40 chromoly and all you know iron we cast a we cast some parts in iron actually did them oh I'm crushing in aluminum for the one and we had a little aluminum forged all night air so we learned all this stuff and this was in junior high school this is back in junior high oh my god you'll play out I took electric shop, I actually took electric shop class in junior high, every class I could get like that. But the point is, you know, again, with the metallurgy, everything could be CNC work done, boom, boom, boom. And this system could be reproduced and massed and made right here. Don't want us to think about that one, do they? Again, this is a gasoline engine. There's another one I want to look at that's been built by one of our other allies. It's actually a little mini diesel. It will run on corn oil. remind everybody that years ago, Henry Ford, not Henry Ford, okay, the guy who invented the, you know, it cannot economical car America here, the one we could all afford. Well, most people in Henry Ford on his property originally ran all of his equipment off hemp oil. He hated the oil. He understood what the threat of the oil companies were to America. And he had actually proposed and come up with other. Now we're talking about biofuel with all this garbage that to a degree or animals that we have to a degree can eat. But hemp production, and I have, you know, I'm just understanding this from basic technologies people, hemp oils and all the other hemp technologies that were available a hundred years ago and were openly available en masse to take care of 100% of our needs for biofuel. The oil companies especially don't want you to know about that because hemp was already a standard, it wasn't a cash crop because of the dopers, It was a cash crop because weed is called weed because it will grow and clothing we know about the blue jeans. The problem I have with most of the people who are in the hemp is that it's like William, by the way, we can use it for blue jeans, dude. That's the problem. It's not like you're doing, hey, we can use this for all these cool things. Oh, and by the way, yeah, well, there's that other stuff too. With the hemp, the type that we're talking about, the plants don't have the content level that everybody would be concerned or anybody would be concerned with with regard to that which makes people a little mellower. It could be done, it could be plugged in, but companies just like they're ragging about biofuel right now. Oh, biofuels, well everybody's starving. No, it's not. The reason America is going to have problems with food is not an accident. It's not because of misplanning in the biofuels. It's because of intentional mismanagement to create starvation or a food crisis condition, companies don't want everybody to realize that we don't truly need, okay, we need a percentage of them. What it is is you have this massive monster destructive monopoly, which is not going to be broken by legislation that ain't going to happen, people. The only way it's going to happen is by user, by you and me coming up with alternate solutions to aid Weedle us completely off of most of what they're doing, which means it's going to bring the price down anyway. Gasoline does not have an infinite shelf life. Okay, every day they're producing more gas and storing more gasoline in tanks where they can't find storage anymore. That's where they are. One thing that everybody has been commenting to me about, and I mean everybody, this has been all over the place, the new fuel coming out of the tanks right now isn't necessarily new fuel. We're seeing a lot of engine problems. We're seeing hesitation. We're seeing stuttering. Well, that's because they're sending the oldest stuff out here at First Guys, and it's starting to pile up. And it's breaking down. There's contaminants. There's tarring that's taking place. That's why you're seeing that. Tell you what, we're going to go to our first break, second hour of the Intel report. You got a little more, maybe a few more hours to go, but not too many, so you guys will be able to work too soon. But I'll tell you what, the, I should say, just out of work for today, we're not saying out of work, it isn't firefully, okay, but the word, with the economy, the way it is, no, no. The point about these Moped type conversion bikes, and most of you are saying how much they cost, the average is about $300 a system. Somebody would say, well $300, I said, okay, well let me point something out here. How quickly would a fuel sipping vehicle like this for you? Let's say if you commute to work and you're driving eight miles one way. Now some of you are driving farther and I don't think you're going to ride a bike that distance. With a fuel bike like this, a fuel sipping bike like this, your car is going to cost, let's see, probably $65. Let's say we got the tank down to $8. If you got a small tank, $65, and probably that ain't even close, we're looking more like $85 to $100 to refill your car, right? To drive back and forth maybe most of the week and maybe get a few hours out of it on the weekend. Not much. Gee, so that means that in three weeks if you drive a bike like this it paid for itself. Math here, by the way, there are 52 weeks in the year. So that means the other 49 weeks of the year of that year if you got really nice weather locally or the next 20 some or 30 some weeks of whatever's left drive it and be very comfortable too. Those hundreds of dollars you're going to spend on the gas company, the oil company, spend it on something else. Now depending on where you are, These mopeds do not require any paperwork or administrative licensing. That means that they're free and clear since it's a bicycle that you're driving. And it's a moped system. It's in the in-between other world in about 80 to 90 percent of the country. Some of the more animal-retentive control freak type Soviet states, restrictions, but it's still for driving the car. One of the big advantages that I see here is, see, you're still able to keep your car, but I'm going to point something out on that. Well I own my car. I have my... No you aren't. You don't own your car in the first place. Come on. There's two other people that own your vehicle when you decided to put a license plate on it typically. Now you might be lucky and you bought it and paid cash. But the first people that got their name on your car is the state of fill in the blank. When you decided to send your title into the state of and let them become first holders of a title to your property, you made them the owners of your property by acquiescing and handing it over to them, people. Uh-oh. Number one. Number two is chances are you don't own it because you're paying for it. Now, or still, you might have a lease. That means you don't have any control. You don't have any temporary control you have, and that's limited, very, very limited. very least you've got a bank tied into you too. Now what does the bank do in addition to just getting the payment? We expect that. You're going to have to pay because you've let the bank forward the money and they're charging an ungodly amount of interest. You're paying for two or three of the cars that you originally paid a flat fee for, except the interest doubled or tripled that. Okay. But because of that, the bank's going to tell you that you're going to carry so much interest on that car. So let's figure that if you've got to have collision because they want to make sure their car is protected. You're talking 800, 600 a year? Oh, some people, 2, 3,000 a year. What if you could eliminate the need for that expensive vehicle, going to find, say, save up? People are saying, I can't save the money to do this. Well, here's how you can do it. Number one is you cut back to one of these little popcorn fart vehicles like this little moped. Now you're only using a gallon of gas to get to work all week. And when you're done at the end of the week, you still have a $1,000 car that you pick up and you drive around that when you want to feel comfortable Now America used to think this way. We used to have what we call a touring car We have what we call just a utility car for work and then you think about a little moped like this Well now with the price of gasoline everybody should be thinking minimal cost of vehicles. Yes, you can use a bike and you get lots of exercise That's a great thing. Go ahead and do that But if you're in the little longer range where you need speed now the one cool thing about this bike is It will do 35-42 mph. Now why did I say 35-42? Well because we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the driver of the vehicle that I was on Saturday, the moped that I was running Saturday, was clocked at 42 mph. Okay? Effectively drive it, you know, going that speed. So we know it's possible because it's the guy who did it. And one of our people was, you know, cruising with him to get his specific speed to make sure he got an accurate reading. Okay? At about 35 mph, I'd say you can cover a pretty good distance. So for intermediate range, let's say the 8 mile, even out to 10 mile range with a little moped bike like this, you're talking to be able to cover the same distance for about the same value as driving a four wheel vehicle. If you're in inner city operations, guys, think of all the traffic you're going to be avoiding. Think of how it is that you can change the way that you would, I don't say inner city so much, as the periphery from the burbs to the downtown area. totally different dimension with regard to operation cost is brought down dramatically okay so you can cut back the insurance issue park the vehicle throw PLPD on the other vehicle you pick up as you get rid of the one you owe money on carving off expenses you can't even brag because then you know something happens but we're of course we've not really ever had a brand new vehicle we've bought used vehicles for years and years and years one of the vehicles we're running right now has over two Now, to give you an example, that vehicle, fortunately, because of one of our allies, you know, has been keeping an eye out for things as they become available, we've gone for minimal cost, put a tire on it, $3. I've had to put a, oh, an alternator, I'd put an alternator on it. That was about $67. The math here, I didn't have, other than the initial outlay, less than the price of the cost of one of your car payments, I picked up the vehicle. Now, this is a while back now. For the price of changing the tires, actually having to put a, let's see, put a new top, put a new battery in it, I'll say that. So there's another old money we got a nicer battery for about $70 or so. So $70, the initial outlay, $70, and then three or four months later, I do the alternator, $67. Then a little while later, I put a new tire on it, oh, there's $63. I'd say in the year that this car has been operated, I've saved a lot of money, because it's a little four banger engine, nothing fancy. fuel comfortable little vehicle. That's the way you gotta be thinking. You also need to look at if you got a car in a car, you need to be looking at getting a pickup. A pickup truck, yeah that's right, a pickup truck or a Suburban or a van, something that you can move things with, okay? Again, one's a touring utility car, the R slash or utility vehicle, like an SUV. You park that and use that for special occasions when you wanna move the family or whatever. You have another utility vehicle that's short range and efficient for fuel. Park them and use them as they're needed. MOPED is the third option in the formula. So guys, hopefully I'll give you some ideas. to close off our transportation element. Although we've got calls, we've got Andrew from Ohio. We have options that are in motion with regard to transportation. I think we're going to show one of the electric cars pretty soon. I'm going to be talking to our person here this Thursday, cross my fingers if I have time. Otherwise, it may be Friday. But Thursday, we'll be talking with one of our people, and that'll be another vehicle we'll be showing up at the next meeting. One of the concepts, one of the ideas, and now I understand how it was applied. We talked about this one electric car. Basically what the guy did is he took two servo motors, robot motors, off of a production line, defunct production line robots. Okay. Lots of torque, nice motors, very precise, great little systems. And what he did is he hooked them up to his rear wheel drive system, actually made independent rear wheel drive, both the left and the right rear tire using the two motors. He then put a conventional battery pack on board. Didn't do anything fancy at all. No super science. No, wow, we need to come up with a nuclear battery that will last. No, nothing like that at all. Just standard batteries. But then he took a generator, a car generator, and put that on board and then utilized a fuel tank for that with a little more volume. Well, what's interesting is very little change in the vehicle other than the significant power conversion going over to the electric motors. Ask anything about it is that the car gets something like 100 and some miles per gallon. Why? Well, the only gasoline engine that's running is the gasoline motor that actually charges the batteries when they need a charge. And there's a little bit of a regulatory system, a regulation system on board that matures the batteries, identifies the need, starts the generator up, it makes no more noise than the standard car engine, in fact it's just as quiet, it's all muffled and everything, but the difference is the only gasoline that's being engine that's charging the batteries that get the motors to run which get them to roll day. Here this is a real hybrid but it's a low-tech, very simple design. Now, do you all want to see how this works? Do you all want to see an example of this car right now? Do you know that all across the country you can go see a version of this car? Right now, in production, you can access them at any Meyers or Sears, big toys for kids. How many of you have seen these little of these, not little, these are big Humby like mock-ups that are big enough for a two or three year old or a four year old to sit down in. Have any of you taken the time to lift the hood and look underneath the chassis? But if you take the time to do it, you're going to see a simple, physical example, large enough to push around a little 30 pound or 40 pound munchkin or 25 pound munchkin. Allow them not only to drive the thing, but think about this. These little plastic cars have steering wheels. They have a clutch system, actually a clutch system. They have a little accelerator pedal and they have a park and drive ratchet on them. Plus they still don't have a little goofy radio they've done with a little iPhone with a little battery disc and you know a couple other things. You know all kinds of fun stuff. The point is if you want to understand what I'm talking about on the air, Mark can only describe so much through this microphone. But if you want to see what we're talking about without the big car having to go there, go to your local big toy store. I don't know what it's Toys R Us. I'm not giving you any specific name because I prefer the company. I'm just saying all these places have these big toys you can sit down and ride in. take a look at how they're assembled people and then understand that with just a little more simple technology, exact same system can be applied. Already have one of a dozen ways to come up alternate transportation right in our hands, right in our bar show, on the showroom floor if need be. Now the steam car technology is another thing we're working on too, and that's something that we're going to be talking about again. One of our steam specialists is coming back south here in a few short days, everything goes well, and he's checking on some other machinery, moving another large mill and a couple of other CNC systems, another location here next week specifically for that project, and the guys that are working on steam car three particular design are going to get us more information and we'll hopefully have them up on the area pretty soon. Anyway, we've got Andrew from Ohio. Andrew's been so patient. Andrew, are you there? A gun show this weekend and fine papers there. I was giving them out to people and I talked to some people that knew you back from the 90s and then there's a lot of people never heard of these radio shows but they're coming to the same conclusions we are. I gave them the how to fine papers also. The best thing that helps us a great deal if you can hand out the how to find a sheets wherever possible Also, in fact, you know Andrew I'll make a point of sending some new ones where actually we've got copies of stuff that I did I've got a big pile of artwork here and I've got to take the time this week I have to compare the time off So that we can help to catch people's eyes and attend in the process their attention pretty busy at the show Oh, yeah, there's a lot of people there's good ammo selection It's not what he used to be but there's a decent amount of ammo the general sense of And like I said, a lot of people have never heard of this population. Everybody's surprises and people have never heard of any of these radio shows or talking about the fast people. You know, have you heard food? Wrestling is beginning in America and they said, yeah, we heard about that. And it's like you tell people, you got to start talking to people because I thought there's a lot of people I talked to and they watch the videos and listen to the shows and they'll tell me like, I don't know anybody that's into this stuff or tell them, boy, you got to talk to people. There's plenty of people, actually that's one of the things, well of course you know I'm notorious in ways. There are some that don't like me but there's a whole lot of people that have been listening for a long time and amazingly enough for being around Ann Arbor. We have a lot of people that are listening and I joke about Ann Arbor all the time but there are a lot of thinking people there are really up to speed. They've been here all their lives like myself and just here in Michigan but all of us, we run into people constantly whenever we're traveling, whenever I'm on the road and I don't shut up ever. I'll just walk up and just like you like you're doing there, I'll give you how to find us sheets out to every truck star, everybody at a truck stop I can. Hey, by the way, you guys got satellite in your truck? We all we do. Here, check this out. I gotta go. Got the truck fueling up. Go back outside. You know, we're going down the road. We'll give them the cashiers, notify the cashiers. What was cute is at one spot. And what we did on 75, I stopped at this one. Larger truck stop and manager was right there and I said hey I got these he looks at the flyers where we could he goes He goes can we make copies of these? Oh, yeah Well, that's why I came to you he really was getting ready leave turns around opens the door goes inside gets the copy machine turns it on and starts cranking out copies and starts giving him a truck drivers before we could So don't tell me there are people listening guys, you know Andrew you got it right on the money there people are all even if they aren't listening to us they see and they sense what's going on and Tell you what, stay right there, Andrew, and we're going to go to break. We've got three minutes. We the People Radio Network, and this is the Intel Report on Monday. Doing things, I am Dr. Buell Von Schite with the White Paper Comicals. Mr. Steve Schenck with this fearless radio program is correct when he says the solution to our difficult times is to store food and get healthy. My comrades and I, other media, don't want you to panic. We, unlike fearless radio, try not to tell you about the food control legislation. Hurricane Katrina, the American famine, families unable to buy food. If we told you that solutions to all these problems is food, you'd panic and run out and buy a food before it disappeared, or you couldn't afford it. You'd completely mess up the perfect strategy for population control, and they'd kick us out of the survivors club. You are a sissy chicken if you call JMS eFoodsDirect.com and order food. This is Steve. Call 800-409-5633 on the web, efoodsdirect.com. 800-409-5633. You'll be considered a little bit crazy, but there's no such thing as a little bit dead. survivalists. We can do that though. Okay and how about the 8-9 hour? Yes, those also. The way that works is it's a donation that's designed to help keep the lights on and keep computers connected. But yeah, you can go to PBN PO Box 194, Dexter, Michigan 48130. And it's $15 donation that covers shipping and everything for a one month CD with all the programs on it one block. Which ones you want? And also which months too? I need a backlog for however many months. Like for the 8 o'clock program you can do that too. Sounds good? No, otherwise show pretty busy people picking stuff up or were they just looking at the prices and going, oh my god. Some people picking stuff up though. Yeah. Well, no, they don't have a choice. The problem is now it's the old story. You only have so many dollars and it's only gonna buy so much. Yeah, but I've been to shows where it was just his dad and money wasn't moving around, but moved around there. Yeah, there are people to that. Like you said this look at the price without their budget. Well, that's where again, now here's the thing. I need to do a flyer on this. I know it's not gonna last the 545 by 39 AK 74 ammo. The 7.62x25 Tokarev ammo and 30.06, even though it's a little pricier, it's still cheaper than .308 and it's cheaper than .223. And 30.06 is the king of the battlefield as far as cartridges go. Lots of .06s are out there. It is the most common and readily available cartridge in the widest number of loads of any single cartridge in North America. Not just the US, but also in Mexico and Canada. The Out Six round is not by any stretch of the Imagine obsolete. In fact, I kind of laugh when these characters are saying, well, look, they got 30 out sixes. It's like, yeah, OK, laugh when it's when it punches you. We've got about a century's worth of casualties produced by the M1903 cartridge slash the Out Six. And hell, we even had men carrying grands in Vietnam, special forces. Actually, we're trained to carry Garand's because they were generic. Also, they were accurate on our rifle in 1964, 168, and some people say, well, no, I carried a car 15. Well, yes, some people did. But a lot of men carried the Garand because it was also nondescript and neutral. In other words, there were so many people carrying the Garand in the 60s, you could be anybody. They couldn't be sure who was carrying the rifle or where it came from. It was the reason for it. But the Garand is just as lethal today is very beginning until present day. On those radio shows I wanted to ask is that a two months for example that'd be $15 a month? Yes it'd be $15 per month. It's a donation designed just purely to keep the lights on or to get the lights back on in some cases as you know now. I just want to make sure I got everything right. Okie doke. It's a P.V.N. P.O. Box 194, after Michigan 48130. It's $15 per month. It's on CD of course. I have a number of other things in the republic books. available at the anti-armor book. We've got a couple other training manuals that are going to be done short. We talked about that project on Sunday, actually Saturday and Sunday. So that's pretty well set to go. We're also going to have some other videos up on YouTube. Anybody who hasn't checked them out, remember, see, Militia Winterwolf2 is up on the site on YouTube. If anybody hasn't had a chance, take the time, go over to YouTube, comment on the video, help us out. Sound good? I'll be sending you a letter tomorrow. But 30 Tokarev is a very effective pencil slash mini magnum. In its day, it was the 357 magnum of pistol cartridges because it was considered so unique in design. The 545 by 39 AK-74 round in service. Typically, the ammunition you can get is ammunition, which means, remember, they were building it to kill us. So chances are it wasn't made funky or strange, if you know what I mean. The advantage there is that there are AKs out there right now, I think Center Fire Systems may have replenished some of their supply. Now we sold them out I guess because they ran out completely of the AK 74s and 545 39 but there should be some available and there are other companies that are carrying them also. One of the other things about going to the gun shows and I think Andy from Andrew bring that up. When you go to the gun show watch for people carrying stuff over their shoulders. Now remember what I've said before. A lot of times people are going to sell a weapon because they have maybe a problem with it and they don't know what it is. They can't understand. They aren't going to make the effort to try to figure out what's going on. Most common with military arms is that the person did not properly clean the weapon. And I will tell you something, even for you people who are, in fact, a lot of you may remember that you've been in the military. A lot of guys would clean a weapon that was cosmoleined and they would, you know, they'd pull it back into service. They'd issue it back out and they'd give you the rifle and oh man, it had gunk all over it. It had gunk inside, but you know what, it wasn't rusty, and that's why, because it was gunk dead. Well, you decided you started by wiping it off as best you could, and then of course half the time the military doesn't give you any bore cleaner, they don't give any solvents, they just give you a rag and some oil, figure out how to get it clean. Well, the problem is, that cosmoline was designed so it was typically applied hot. When it's hot, it's actually obviously portable, and what they did is they dip or into the weapon, the cosmoline or the lubricant, seal the weapon up so that just simply there's no oxygen. They make contact with the metal. Well what you've got to do is break the weapon down. I don't say break it, don't do that, but you know we call it breaking the weapon down where you disassemble the weapon completely as much as you possibly can. Now we have the beauty of the Chinese dollar store. Go to the Chinese dollar store and buy yourself a dollar's worth of q-tips. Go to the Chinese dollar store and get yourself a dollar's worth of toothbrushes. Most toothbrushes for the least. In other words, if you get a five pack instead of a seven pack or I should say a seven over five or, you know, five over a three, get the most for the least. Go get yourself a whole bunch of rags from wherever you can, preferably cotton, but you can use nylon rags. Prioritize your rags because rags are always going to be a commodity. Use your nylon rags to start taking the bulk off very carefully. Again, don't, you know, clean everything up. Take as much of the gunk off as you can. Also inside the gas system. This is why I'm bringing this up. Typically the gas system, the tap it rods and or the barrel itself has got enough grease still in the weapon and that it's actually caked in in different ways or it's been locked in and it's just sitting there. Okay, it's just still supposed to do. Every corner and nook and cranny of that weapon you clean it right. When you're done, after you've taken all the grease out of the corners, I want you to, of course, use your toothbrushes, use your solvents. I want you to take your Q-tip and run it in every corner inside where, for instance, the bolt carrier works. Get down into the corners there, where you think it's clean. In fact, I want you to look at it. I want you to do the best job you can. And I want you to look at it. And I'll tell you what, when you take that baby white Q-tip and you stick it in there, you're going to find it. It ain't so baby white. Cosmoline has a tendency just like carbon to blend and look like the metal it's laying on. Okay, that's what it does. It bonds with the crystal structure. So before we go anywhere, we want to clean that weapon completely. We can use that whole box of Q-tips to get down in all those tight spaces to get up inside that AR-15 around those multi-lock cams. Oh, that's right. What a dirty mess that is. Get up there inside that little teat right up there in the upper receiver of that AR-15, which is all was a problem. Why? Because the AR-15 defecates where it eats, which means it's a very messy thing in that respect. You need to make sure you clean it properly. But your other weapons such as the SKS, the AK-74, the AK-47, M1 carbines, Aqim rifles, FN-49s, they've just come out of the grease like a lot of them say. A lot of times people just wipe down the outside, finger inside where they see a little bit of the grease sitting, and everything else is still sitting there. So if you can get a rifle off somebody's shoulder for a good price because they don't know what's wrong with it and you have an understanding on how to fix it, well, take the time. It's worth the money if it's a Liberty rifle and there's no paperwork on it. We're at the top of the hour. Monday is finished for us right now. We'll be back up at 8 o'clock on LTR, of course. This is the Intel Report for Monday signing off. As always, God bless the Republic. Death to the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We are on the march. God bless you, good evening. Did you read this? Chicago just became the murder capital of America. I don't understand. It's been a felony to have a gun since 95. I thought that was supposed to prevent murders. I don't increase them. Criminals will always find a way to get guns, while the rest of us are just left defenseless. Chicago authorities have seized over 75,000 firearms since 1995. And now, Chicago's murder rate is twice as high as New York City. Tonight, while you're asleep, criminals will be at work. Not in Kennesaw, Georgia. In 1982, our city passed a law requiring every household to have a gun. It terrified the criminals, and our violent crime rate is now 75% below the national average. We sleep well here in Kennesaw. Americans who own guns prevent over a million violent crimes every year and save lives. Get the facts. Visit armedandsecure.org. That's armedandsecure.org.
