Summary
Mark Koernke discussed the critical role of truckers in maintaining America's supply chain and economy, noting how fuel price increases were deliberately designed to cripple the trucking industry and centralize commerce. He covered firearms maintenance and reliability, emphasizing the 1911 pistol's durability and the importance of spare parts for long-term weapon preservation. Callers contributed discussions on open carry laws across western states, unconventional warfare tactics from the book 'Total Resistance,' and firearm identification from the movie 'Behind Enemy Lines,' with Koernke providing detailed analysis of equipment suitability for different combat environments.

I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedom for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right. And pray to God to keep the torture freedom bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the midst of once he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each god-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the brave? both east and east. Well, I did ask some other questions about some other stuff and not for today. I'll give you a call back later on, maybe in the beginning, I think that'd be a good topic to speak about on the air. But I did have some things I want to say without, so maybe you guys will be able to hear this. We can return equal opportunity for us if need be to defend our perimeter. Thank you, sir. Yes, sir. I love you guys. God bless. We have Dion from Chicago who's been waiting in the wings of the two. Dion, jump in there, please. Good idea. Mark, it's always good to hear you on the radio say that I'm on MySpace and that's what I can't get enough of WCPRE and I developed what you said near the beginning of the occasion and I go out there on the freeway in the morning, somebody on the road out there with you, you know, somebody might have broken through, she's the only person with more appreciation to our truck. Exactly. Well, you know, years ago I had an accident where I was hit from behind with a Chrysler Cordova at about 90 miles an hour. They say it was 90, I think it was more than that, because trust me, when I looked in the rear of the mirror, there wasn't a car there. And when he overran us, oh, he was there. All I heard was the sucking sound in the vacuum of the car. Well, we went, I flew a Ford Pinto about 140-some feet, okay? Trust me, it was like, you ever see the movie Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars? No, I think Star Wars. Hoth Battle? Remember that Hoth Battle where you see him where he flies the snow speeder up and then it comes in and it crashes? Well, that's exactly what it was like flying that Pinto. It was a do-do for winter. well what would you know we're out in the middle of nowhere and a bear and stretch i ninety six and i'll tell you what that would be all those of the only people stop now there was one other car i will say this there was a gentleman i don't know how he had he had uh... seven kids and himself you know what was a little horizon all stacked in the news his wife was holding one and two of the munchkins underlap and this was about or two o'clock in the morning it was good are cold and he said well we can throw everybody out of the car to get you to the hospital. My sister was with us and said oh no the heck was that just go call somebody. At the same time it was the truckers, the first trucker that came by stopped and he was on the far side of the expressway going in the other direction and it was the other trucker who was called by him who stopped next on our side of the road and they were the only people, I will say that one car stopped and they even did call, we know they called later, they did what they could, but it was a barren stretch of road, there weren't even gas stations out there for 20 miles, and so you had to go a heck of a long way to find a place even to find a payphone. The truckers were the ones who stopped it, they were the ones who got all the services in place, and they were the ones that made it happen, so people forget that there's a second, you know, there's been a, you know, you just call them the Knights of the Road, remember that? And that's exactly what they still are to this day. Of course they're taken for granted for the moment, but any courses... Definitely a big safe sometimes. I know sometimes you get impatient on the road, you're in a hurry to get... Sometimes, you know, I'm guilty of this my say, man, they're the guys that keep our country... Well, they're the ones to allow you to have... If you're up in Canada, like for instance, I know you're in Chicago, but for those people up in Canada, the reason all through the winter they can have fresh vegetables of any kind is because of those semi-trucks that run all the way up to California. drop their loads of whatever it is and they really do drop them. Most people don't know this but they actually, I joke about it, sawdust and maple syrup. But one of the things that they actually do ship from Canada coming across the border here is maple syrup in bulk form. What they do is they take the raw stock and they run it out west or they drop it at certain points out west and they don't make as much money on that. Where they make their money is on the hall back with the fresh vegetables out of the Napa Valley and out of the San Joaquin. and what they do is they run all the way back to canada and they sell them up there. Well if it weren't for truckers that wouldn't be happening. Not the way it would, you know. So people even in the upper areas where we are here in Michigan are you guys in Chicago. Now you're in Chicago, you're lucky. You got that big rail hub and stuff. All roads lead to Chicago, kind of like mini-roam in the United States for commerce. But with regard to Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, i don't think you could you recall this way back in the sixties role on big o it was just uh... whole story about and it was cute because it was the semi drivers are two of them they were running the orange juice up from four to get it fresh up to michigan in twenty four hours and uh... it's funny because people don't think about that and that anymore that way they don't realize you know everything is automatically your doorstep you go over to myers or to wall the world or all these places the planet shows up in one place where you can pick not only cheese, but how many kinds of cheese? You know what I mean? How many cuts of meat? How many vegetables and fresh produce from so many parts of the world we can't count them all? And it's because of the truckers that they get there. We're not going to miss it until it's gone is the problem. Well, that's just it. The trains were considered to be... This is the thing. Trains are cheaper to ship and trains are used for shipping, but they're called a wholesale transport system. They're designed to get everything into an area, into a hub, and then the trucks were originally supposed to be the retail delivery system to get to where the customer was. What's happened is, and this is a problem to a degree because we did neglect our rail service, that doesn't mean we wouldn't have the trucks in place. but we neglected the rail service so the rails aren't there. People don't realize this. I've had to try and explain to people, Michigan, when you look at the map of Michigan, lay your hand down, there's only three northern lines that you have to watch to watch all the rail traffic for the state of Michigan now. Only three lines, three choke points. That means also the biggest problem is somebody could do, you know, damage to the infrastructure at three points and rail service to the upper part of the state of Michigan would be down for any period of time. And the whole country is like this. It's not that they've maintained the infrastructure. The truckers have made up the difference, but now they're strangling them. I mean, literally, this is the... We joked about it, but we weren't joking. Well, watch, it's going to go over $4, and then they'll just run with the money. Well, they did, and then they backed off because they realized that the truckers were already at boiling point. Al Gore and most of these other characters, McLean said the same thing. All of these characters said, well we need to see gasoline prices at $5 a gallon. Okay guys, the truckers, what are they supposed to be doing this for the fun of it? I mean, when you think about it, one of these places, entertainment, you think this is some kind of hobby for them? They're supposed to make some kind of a living. And I know that it's intentional. They know the formula. If they park their trucks right now and went to McDonald's or went to one of these other places that pays $9 or $8 an hour, they can make just as much as they can being on the road, but they'd be home with their families. Now the other side wants to damage them in that way, but they want to do that to re-engineer and create a more centralized, control-free type environment. And if you think it's bad now for prices, remember, once they centralize everything, there is no competition and no having to listen to the consumer. And that's what this is all about. Then you don't have to offer 20 kinds of cheeses. You better be happy with the cheese we gave you. And maybe we won't deliver cheese next week. I know people over there are going, no, no, all the clock, all the clock is a nice pistol too, not ridicule the clock, but the 1911, the big advantage is this, now 90, I won't say 70, because we're coming up on the 100th anniversary of the 1911, real quick here, it's 2008, that's only three years away. That weapon has been in service and there's over, or almost, 100 years worth of components in the inventory. In that time, change in the design of the 1911. It is as reliable today as it was when it was originally built. What do you think? Oh, absolutely. Actually, this is Star Wars Blaster. Let's put it this way. When it's pointed at you and you hear that echo, when you hear the echo, when you say something that's coming back down the barrel at you, you think twice about whether or not you really want to debate with whoever it is that might have one. So it's also nice to know that as a persuasion tool, if you're using it, not only does it demonstrate by physical example the opacity, when you do have to pull the trigger, it does exactly what it was designed to do. And everybody went down to, this is my, and I know, and don't get fretted or excited because we know there's 9 millimeters, 380s, there's 30, 30, better out there and they're just fine. I'd grab one just as quick as any other to use. The 1911 is a very reliable system and remember, we went down to 9 millimeter, came back up to 40, we went down to 38 auto, which is a Largo type 9 millimeter, in other words, a long 9 millimeter case. utilize the pistol for a period of time, we're dissatisfied with it and went back up to the .45 caliber because we wanted something with more stopping power against the type of characters we were facing in the Philippines and in China. Which were the, you know, U-Opium eliminates a whole lot of pain so if you can't deliver energy you're in trouble. So I'll tell you what, Dion stay right there if you want to. We'll be back in about three minutes with We The People Radio Network. It's Intel Report Weapons Wednesday. Back in a few. People who use Cartavite know about the pollutants in our body and want them out. For over five years, Cartavite has proven itself time-tested. Here's Dr. Mattson, a naturopathic doctor's thoughts on Cartavite. In our mind, there isn't such a great big mystery to disease anymore. This basic Canada of yeast and the gut and metal, the lyric covers at least seven to eight percent of the diseases that we've seen. When we do our program, you know, in herbal formula like Cartavite, and you see someone who could barely walk up a hill, now going for regular jobs, few months later we know we're doing something right. It's a well thought out formula. I mean the idea of it working on yeast and metals both at the same time and liver function instead on it, you'll find I think that it'll work more than just on hard problems and circulation problems. It'll work on other problems as well. For more information call 1-877-928-8822 or visit our website at www.partdrop.com. That toll free number again 1-877-827-827. 928 8822. We all know that knowledge is power. We've tried to give you knowledge to help you prepare for rough times. There's the worldwide famine and our country's dependence on often dangerous food imports. You know about genetically poisoned food. Two-thirds of the food is disappearing with the bees along with huge crop failures from all-time record water shortages. You know they're turning food into fuel with corn ethanol plants. If we do not control our food, food will be used to control us. Food control has been the plan historically in every enslaved population and is the plan for America. The only value of the knowledge you have to take control of your food is if you choose to get a supply while you still have the freedom to choose. Call 800-409-5633 on the web efoodsdirect.com. Call 800-409-5633. We cover the truth with Catherine Albright live from 9am to 11am Monday to Friday right here on We The People Radio Network. If you get a chance, be there. If you're close by, there's no excuse not to be. In fact, organize. Work together. Many hands make for light work, as we have said before. If you're farther away and you can't send a whole lot of people, how about if all of you in your meetup group work together, pool your money and send a few people there. Send your state flag with them. Make sure that you've got the state flag, your Ron Paul shirts. Make sure you've got everything and everything, anything you can that's Ron Paul that you're wearing. Just like this trucker strike right now that we see there's pieces all over the country that are available to show you what's going on. We see NBC, CBS and CNN. It's newsworthy, but it's apparently not, well, something they want the general population to see. So we still have Dean on the line. Dean, anything else? Please go ahead. Yeah, just a couple of more. Now, the Bifurist Awakening to freedom movement happens. It is quite often, man, you're making opportunities as one. Interestingly enough, and there's a lot of people that we've talked with about this, we have many people from many parts of the country. that are always about, well, who will respond? Who will stand up when the time comes? And I've had to explain to people that there's a lot of men and women who have made America their first, that, like yourself, decided to change the place where they were on the planet. Of course, now mom and dad helped you with that, too. But the land of opportunity is still the land of opportunity if we take it by the reins and shake it a little bit. We're gonna have to straighten up. This country is not finished. This country is not over, just in reverse. This country has a, with opportunity if we can get the socialists out of the way. That is our biggest problem. We can get the problem of the biggest stumbling block out of the way, which is the parasites. We have an excellent opportunity to build, but it's you and it's all the other people listening. You're going to have to make it happen. I believe, I truly, truly believe, I hate to say it, but I don't hate to say it. Please use that term, I hate to say it. But, you know, I don't. We are probably going to have to end up fighting for this country tooth and nail. But it's worth fighting for because it is where we live. is the place we're going to keep free. We're all said and done. Dion, Spot, Philip, and all of us, when we're finished, can get together, have a bean sandwich and a cup of whatever you want to brew or whatever it is you've got on hand. And we're going to relax and enjoy ourselves, talk about the battles we fought. Then we're going to dust off our cloaks and forget the new world orders come as we leave them behind in the dust bin. And we are going to get on with life. And then we're going to have a whole lot of fun, aren't we, Dion? You know, reassurance. It'll be the pit for them, not for us. right up the 994 corridor, we're on the Baker Road exit, Dexter, Michigan. Give us a ring when the time comes. Actually, if you go to our website, you can be amazed, you can find out how to get hold of us. I have a real quick open the head after you. I can see normally we're carrying a gun and they have been helped. It's west of the Mississippi, with the exception when you get all the way to California. Have open carry everything from in the vehicle to on your person. It used to be called also a three-sided view. for carry. If you, you know, there was outlet, how can you call it concealed if you're carrying it on your hip? You know what I mean? How can you call it concealed if you're carrying it in an open shoulder holster where it can be seen? That's one of the things that they, that they're, that they've been with for years. West of the Mississippi, most all of the states have the same policy as long as a police officer, you know, actually even if he can see it, as long as it's the way in concealed, it's really the reverse of what everybody would think. rather than trying to hide it if it's out in the open and everybody can see it there's no mystery to the police officer there's no mystery if they stop you for any reason they shouldn't bother you anyway and most states don't but if you do it's like well it's no big deal um Oklahoma Iowa Wyoming I'm pretty sure the Dakotas yes Montana yes far as I know Utah absolutely Nevada yeah see what other states who are pretty much like that. Now I don't know about Arizona because it's had an invasion of the Californicators. Sorry guys, but these are nuts. Not put all of our California friends down. But the Cali- the lot of them from California swamped over in Arizona. And the problem is they brought a lot of their crazy ideas with them. In Arizona, when I was there, everybody carried a weapon. In fact, let me give you a little story. When I was down at U-6, which is Fortitude- Fortitude, Arizona, which is the bottom of the state, anybody wants to find it, bottom of Arizona. There's like a little corner at the bottom where two angles come together. just up from there, that's where Nogales is. Just up from there is where Fort Ochuca is, right down on the border. Two guys, a black and white guy, decided to go into one of the local banks at Sari Vista, Sierra Vista, and rob it. Well, there's a guard in the lobby, and there was no bulletproof glass in the banks down there, which is the first thing I noticed when I was down there, was like, hey, there's nothing around here. Well, the guys got out the words, this is a hold, but I don't think they got up, because the cashiers and the five people in the lobby shot the guys to death. Now the bank robbery lasted maybe a total of 30 seconds, maybe 45. And one of the comments that I always remembered and made by the guard is, I never even got a chance to pull out my gun. Everybody there was armed. Everybody participated in making sure that nobody stole anything. And nobody thought twice about it. It wasn't either, oh my god, oh my god, James. It's just like, you mean you didn't bring your gun to the gunfight? What the hell's wrong with you? Well, they didn't have bank robbery problems down there like you see here. And contrary to what you see in Hollyweird, where they always try to give you that New York or California type viewpoint on everything, the police officers used to ask the old state highway patrol when I was down there, were you going out in the back 40 there? You guys don't have a rifle or something? I say, huh? They say, well, you know, you guys are going to be kind of away from anybody. If you tried to call us, we're two hours away from it. You guys are going back up there. You guys got a rifle or something. Why don't you carry it? Oh, OK. We open up the trunk and we had everything sitting there. It's like well good idea. Let's take these with us Now you try and see you wouldn't see that in other states instead You've got this anal retentive control freak police state mindset. Oh my god a civilian armed You need to be a good victim and that's not me. I'm not here in Illinois. Look at after car in the in laws That's what I'm saying That's the Soviet system that they've plugged in in fact many of the different I worked with down there what we got you would explain that to you to say what Dion we all said Yeah, pretty much. I was just going to ask if you could play Revolution and Mentality sometime, or maybe just play it on Wednesday for Weapons. Wednesday, that's my number one song. Yes, sir. Actually, Revolution, Light of Fire, and Never Forget. I'll tell you what, we'll promise to get that up on the air for you, and we're going to play it at the bottom of the hour. Not today, of course, but it'll be sometime next week. Thank you. All right, take care, Mark. Thank you. People who use Cartavite know about the pollutants in our body and want them out. They've got Golden Tiger and they have Let me double check here. They have also the regular Wolf fundamental jacket new polymer coating. Now, with any of the steel case ammunition, keep in mind that your AKs were designed to deal with that particular issue to begin with. Also, there's a lacquer type coating, there's new polymer coating, there's a couple of other types of sealants that are used. Well, are using the weapon and the chamber heats up. You're going to get a little bit of that material that's going to stick inside the chamber. It's not going to be a problem right away, but it is one of the several things that builds up carbon, the combination between a little bit of carbon falling and also the sealants or the material that's used. Remember that when we talked about cleaning your weapon, you want to take that consideration to make sure that you scour, that you literally clean out the material there so you need the proper solvents. It's going to be necessary to make sure that your weapon is properly stripped of all of the, you know, detritus from the chamber and from the barrel. And once you have, now even with chrome, even though I know chrome is very forgiving and is true, it is. Remember that still, a lubricant of some kind in a light passing form. When we say light, we're talking very light. You dab the cloth, you make sure there's some oil on it. You run it through the chamber and you run it through the bore and you make sure you dry patch it maybe once just to be safe. But what the oil does is it seals up the crystal structure, the crystalline structure of the metal. And this, what it does is coats it so that it actually allows for, it breaks the adhesion with regard metal on metal, eliminates the possibility of breakdown, will help to reduce wear and tear, which at the micro level doesn't seem major, but you're looking at trying to make these rifles last for a long time. I plan on making sure that all of you hand your rifles down to your grandkids, not just to your children, but to your grandchildren. If we do proper maintenance and we understand how to do maintenance, which is another thing we need to address in one of the programs here, and I'm going to do a videotape on it. I already did one on weapons maintenance, just not up on YouTube yet. But we're going to do one on basically explaining why they made certain tools, such as muscle caps and guides, so that it doesn't wear down the end of the muzzle of your firearm when you're cleaning. This way you don't have to worry about splaying out or affecting the crown of the barrel. use the tools that were created that help to preserve the quality of your arm. People don't take that into consideration because we assume that, well, you know, after all, it's just wearing terror, even though, you know, we do this over a period of years. Everything that you do with that barrel affects the barrel. Always remember that. When, you know, again, there's the barrel life is very specific. I mean, although it varies because there are different qualities of barrel. I'll give you an example. The original F and FALs could actually survive. close to 70,000 rounds of constant service. They became a nightmare for the bad guys, so to speak, because they came back to haunt them over and over again. Early Ray K's were much in the same way, the quality of the barrels. And you can see this. If you get a chance to see a... Well, I'll give you an example. A lot of you have the older 50s to 60s series SKS's. Take a look at the very, very early models and the way that the chrome wash, how it was applied to, for instance, the barrel and the chamber. to look at the later models made by the Chinese that came in in the 90s, which by the way they had to open a factory lineup to make many of those SKS's to finish production on them because they had only so many in stock and they actually had run out the inventory that they sold to us and decided, hey, we'll buy more, they'll make more. Well, the chrome has varying thicknesses and there's different processes that were used and you can physically see this if you observe this. This is where you become we might call it connoisseur of metal and a connoisseur of finishes when it comes to firearms too. You eventually, as you handle more of anything, and you know this is true if you're a skilled tradesman in any way, you get to the point where your eyes gauge things. And this is, you know, again, just to make you understand that, you know, there are things that were specifically changed in firearms to shorten their lifespan. Why? Because they want to sell more! Now as long as you understand that, we're doing just fine. And this is why Mark's basic rule applies to all the firearms that we're talking about. New firing, an extra firing pin, an extra extractor, and if it's possible, an extra ejector. Now, a real quick touch. On the 1911, which Dion mentioned earlier, beautiful firearm, I wouldn't hesitate. In fact, many of you are carrying them right now. A firing pin, extractor, ejector. Try to get a pin and spring kit. There's all kinds of little card kits out there, or if all else fails, take the shopping list for the 1911, go to the gun shows, you won't find one, you'll usually find two, three, four, or five people that specialize in .45 and military gun parts. They literally have all the trays there, so they can open up a tray and pick out what it is you want to fit what it is that you need. Well, springs and pins, but also a replacement mainspring. This is very simple, they're not that expensive, but a replacement mainspring for the .45. The mainspring fixture on the back of the back strap of the weapon does a lot of work people. Rather than having to worry about, you know, just something going wrong and you not having a replacement for as little as they cost and for as easy as they are to store, a spare mainspring would be a good idea and a mainspring housing while you're at it. Why not? You can get any number of flavors and you can get whatever price range you want. Pick up a spare while you're at it. It's not a big deal, but on the 1911, a mainspring and the mainspring housing. But what we're basing the back strap, it actually is the lock pin. It locks the mainspring into place, it holds it in place and actually helps to support with its operation. Little ideas, but the idea is spare parts to keep these things running far, far beyond what the enemy would anticipate. Now, another nice thing about the 1911, and like many of our military firearms, there is a plethora of magazines out there to choose from. Now. I know what people would say, well the cheap magazines, Mark, they're not as reliable. That's true, but there's varying quality in those. Know what your magazines do, but take your aftermarket $2 and $3 magazines. Now they're about $5. And use those for range fire. That way you're wearing out magazines that you don't care as much about. They're typically reliable enough that they're going to work just fine in your weapon. They're going to feed every time, and they're going to work. However, that way when people say, well, I don't know if I trust my life film. OK, we'll use them for qualification and familiarization with your firearm. It's the same with magazines that may be tired or that may be in question. You don't have to scrap them. Here's what you do if you're like in the military. Take a piece of electrical tape, a red electrical tape, and take it and wrap the magazine with one band of red to tell you that that is a training or a practice mag. That way you won't put it in with your combat magazine. That doesn't mean you won't use it when the time comes down the road if all else fails. But the point is, you can mark the magazines that you consider to be less desirable or usable and retire them to training service operations. nothing goes to waste. Now your $25 and $30, you know, COMMAC mags that are 9 round capacity or whatever are saved up for when you need them for personal defense, etc. You've got them where you need them. And you can still use all those other mags. If I had to dump a whole lot of ammunition down range, you load every mag. Once you load every mag, it's bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop No, it shouldn't be quite that fast anyway, because we don't really want to waste ammunition, compressing it time-wise for you. The idea is that once you get through all those already prepped mags, it'd be kind of handy to have something loaded, and even if it's your training or the less desirable mags, they'll wish you got to keep putting rounds down range and engaging the target. Anyway, Rod from Texas. Rod, jump in there, please. Yeah, Mark, I want to recommend a book. But before I give you the name of it, let me just read the subtitle of the one I was so impressed with. It's called the Guide to Gorilla Waterfare Underground Operations with emphasis on that. And what I liked about it, it sort of de-emphasized the idea of getting into a firefight because really that's the last place you want to be. Recent conflicts we've seen. Example, or one, conventional or where, you know, tried to go head to head with us and we basically wiped them out. They're having much greater success. And also in Vietnam, we really made our most progress with programs like Phoenix, the intense psychological component to it because of target selection. You know what I mean? Exactly. One of the most common... Well, here's the thing now. They're the only problem with total unconventional. is that, and this is where I am, where you've heard me mention, paraconventional to a degree. Unconventional, and don't go anywhere, because we're going to go to break here in a second, but unconventional mostly works if there is another theater, works better if there is a second line or a second series of actions that are taking place. But combined or used properly as we address them, we can make it work. So we're going to come back with that issue in three minutes, that's We The People Ready Network on Well, the intel report, you got Mark, you got Mark, and we've got Rod, and we have John waiting in the wings. The name of the book is called Total Resistance. Yes. Are you familiar with it? Oh yes, that's Swiss Defense. Yes, I know exactly who wrote that. The cool thing is that Gentleman's Works is totally applicable today. Go right ahead, please. I would suggest everybody get a copy of it. It's available through Paladin Press. Go ahead and give out all the contact info. Actually, go ahead and give out the book title. Do you have the Library of Congress number there too? It should be in the cover. I just have the ISBN number. There we go. That's good. 0-8-7-3-6-0-2-1, 8-7-3-6-0-2-1 by Major H. Paladin Press and if they haven't changed their phone number 3-443-72 and their address is P.O. Box 1307 in Boulder, Colorado. And again, the Swiss concept is that every man virtually is an army in that respect and that the militia forces of Switzerland would fight a para or unconventional war. every step of the way. And for that reason, that was one of the reasons that nobody really thought that invading Switzerland would be a good idea for the last century plus. And needless to say, they've been not at war for almost 500 years, well more than 500, almost, more than 500 years. They're very adept, they're very well armed. They have some of the finest weapons systems on the planet, by the way, and the government gives them to them. I should tell you something. Now, I do understand and I do not have a follow-up on this. I will say something about the Swiss though. Shame on them because we led a couple of feminazis and some other, some, we themed a women's magazine house that they needed to do an ammunition, not confiscation, but a round-up so they have to have their ammunition stored somewhere else, which is ludicrous. Hopefully they've gone out, sliders who started that and may have corrected everything before it went stupid. We'll find out more about that as we can. But the concept, the book itself, Total Resistance, a must-read. It's one of those things that I would recommend everybody, if they can get hold of. If you can reproduce it in whatever form, scan it and have it out there in CD form, that'd be great. But remember, books don't require any computers, do they? No, they don't. That's right. One thing that I was very impressed with is how everybody can participate in an occupation like... This is just one example of one thing they pointed out and then I'll let you go. But let's say for example you work in a diner, you're a cook. Serving the occupying forces badly just adulterates their food. They don't have to get the best. In fact, you make sure it's absolutely the worst if at all possible. And everybody can do their part in one form or another and everybody pitch in. In the long run, you just, the weight of the process is what takes them down. A thousand cuts, a thousand trickles, a thousand ouchs is the best way to describe it. I'll let another caller get on, Mark. Thank you, Ron. God bless. We have John from Massachusetts. John, jump in there, please. Hey, Mark. How you doing? We got you. Good. I had a quick question for you. I guess Nancy was calling here looking for me today. I was at work. Do you know what she called about? Oh, I don't know offhand, and she's not here right now. That's OK. I just had a quick question. I watched the movie Behind Enemy Lines this weekend. Ackman, are you familiar with that movie? Yes, yes. I have a question on it. Hunter, the tracker, the guy named Sasha, he was a Fosseian, I guess, and he was tracking down the Navigator from the... He had this type of bolt-action rifle that looked very familiar to me, but I wasn't sure exactly like a muzzle brake. It almost looked like a Mark 19 grenade launcher. You know, it's a little thicker. Right. One of those is possibly a Steyr. I'd have to look at that. I'd have to take a look at that again, but remember, they offered... They actually offered those threaded so they could be crowned with either a conventional either use a conventional or you could actually you know again when you're away from all the Politically correct people you could actually mount a flash fighter or muzzle compensator. There's STIRs There's a couple of the STIR rifles are like that and there were there's several other European sniper systems that were put in place that actually have that option which is intelligent I mean, it's a good idea we magniport over here in the United States and do other things that are out of the connect respect but thinking of Steyr, but I may be wrong, could be one of the modern Mauser productions too, from Mauser's that are out there, but I'm pretty sure Steyr, because that's that neck of the woods that's pretty dominant across the board with those people who are purchasing top line. I'm familiar with the movie. I have a problem with some of the arguments there as far as what they're doing. It was designed to get angry with the Serbs, and in reality, we're seeing the end result of this whole thing. It was one of the movies that was trying to get us into the idea we were going to invade Kosovo and invade Serbia. The ethnic Albanians were doing exactly, everybody that they blamed the Serbs for what they were doing, the ethnic Albanians were busy doing the same, if not, they were the ones who were doing it. Nobody, there's nobody that was clean over there, but it's been a battle for years, for a thousand years in that region, like it's new. The other thing I noticed on the gun was that it had a bipod that was, it appeared to be like a small bump near the trigger, which I assume would be an internal magazine, probably for five rounds. Most of those have a detachable mag. You can get extended mags for them. This one wasn't sticking out though. It was just like... Just for deactivating the magazine so you can drop the mag and drop your round and the weapon's secure. Now the fold forward, I know people are going to wince at this, and the fold forward is popular with a lot of people, but I brought this up in a write-up that I did in the last couple of days about, for instance, the people operating in Iraq right now. A lot of the equipment they're using just isn't going to make sense for anybody who's in a temperate environment or has to work in any kind of battlefield or where there's nothing but sand and buildings because everything that you see that you attach to your gear when it hooks forward like that, it collects everything in the woods. Okay, think about, we went from one extreme to the next. We've been fighting extreme battlefields. In Vietnam, we're under triple canopy rainforests in many cases. You're looking at dense foliage. All this gobbledygook that you see, all these troops carrying. Can you imagine them trying to use that in that environment? You know what you look like after the first time you go through a pile of brush? You look like the brush when you were done. Because everything stags and that's the only thing about you know you see this and I want people to think about this because we're not in the desert we're not in love you were not up on the high ground if you are that wouldn't be a problem but forward folding a Ford holding bipod creates a scoop or a hook point where more material catches and stays And unfortunately, when you're trying to move stealthily through the woods and you run into that sumac plant that has about 10 or 12 old wild grape vines hanging from it, usually your full dock and your helmet-mounted night vision equipment and your extra little umbilicus for your backpack, your backpack-mounted camel canteen, all that stuff's going to collect every piece of debris going through the woods you can think of. So don't think that because it works in one environment that it is going to be acceptable or service ready in another environment. That's one of the things. In fact, here's another thing. Just because it's a desert storm doesn't mean it's good equipment for our situation because of the color. You know, desert tan, take desert tan out here right now into any state. I don't care where you are, even Michigan. And tell me that it isn't a shoot me color. Very beautiful. Yeah, you see what I mean? It works under certain conditions like the brownout conditions. I can use five color chocolate chip. But the problem is, people get this mindset, well because it's what I saw on television when I use this over in Desert Storm, it's what you gotta have here. No, just a reverse. Weapons systems, support equipment, and all the other ancillary material is calibrated and engineered for a certain theater and environment. That theater environment is very limited and very narrow in regard to its equipment use. A lot of the stuff, in fact here's the problem, we threw a lot of our stuff that was designed for the temperate battlefields of Europe in there and gave it to the Iraqi troops to the point where we've consumed most of the surplus. Now you're seeing basically the production is up to where they wanted it to be, we're forgetting the troops, the thing, the boots and everything and the right colors. But it's the right colors for that theater, not the right colors for this theater. Okay, Mark. Well, I appreciate it. Thank you very much. Thank you. We'll give you a ring later, John. God bless. Okay, take care. You too, Mike. Okay, bye-bye. We are at the top of the hour. Hopefully we answered some questions, ladies and gentlemen. Centerfightersystems.com has 9mm ammo.
