I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? What I was trying to bring home here is the can-do attitude, the positive attitude. Life's going to go on. First of all, we're going to win. Okay, now that's not just, just because of the nature of the enemy, their bitter souls, the sad minds, the sad eyes, the panic that I see in them, they're gonna do some terrible damage. Now, how much damage they do is determined by how well we contain them, put them down, and kick them out. How long it takes is up to you people listening. How well prepared you are determines part of that factor. Right now, as we've said before, we have cleared out shelves across this country of ammunition. We've cleared off shelves of gas masks, by the way, too. Thank you. We appreciate that. Because again, I've explained specifically what we're talking about. It's like when those M10Ms became available, hey, at $4 apiece, people, that's a hell of a cheap insurance policy. If we do have to upgrade them or we have to change filters or we're going to have to add filters, we're working on that or you're already working on that. The point is trying to save you money and do things in increments. Okay, so you're not having to show out, you know, massive quantities of anything. I understand you're limited. I'm limited. All of us are. This economy is in the toilet. They may try to put the smiley face on it, but it's still, you know, they can put sugar on, you know what, a cow pie, and it's still a cow pie. Now, we accept that. In other words, when people say, well, there's nothing we can do. Well, you know what, if that's the case, we're going to make sure that we roll with what we got. That's part of the sword master's job. That's part of what you do if you're going to work as a warrior or if you're going to work as an American on this high seas that they've created, these rough currents. We're going to deal with that. And when we get out the other side, we are going to be the ones stable. We're not going to be, we don't want to be on top, but we're going to be riding the wave instead of being stuck in the undertow. That's what we're looking at. The other side wants to create a big massive slave plantation. The writing's on the wall with that. How is it you have a hard time understanding? We are going to have to fight. Now, you may want to try and suck up, but here's my problem with that. You know what? Ain't gonna work. Why? Because they eat their young. And if you listen to their own writings, there's about, oh, three-quarters of the population you'd like to murder. Do you think that in any way, shape, or form, trying to suck up, you're gonna be even on the keeper list? You're already on a list. That list, of course, is designated by them as far as getting rid of us as a problem. If we're stupid enough, they'll just lay down and let them do it. But we're not going to. And there's a whole hell of a lot of Americans, tens of millions of them, that make up a massive defense force. Millions. Now, there's some little lay down people, and I'm not going to argue with that at all. I'd be the first to tell you that. In fact, I've told you that many, many times before. The bad guys don't worry about them. What they're worried about is that can-do attitude. It's not in the military anymore. They're all puffed up. They can be bosses. They can do whatever they want. They can try to lower it and play police state. But they're still limited. They're in a very narrow box. It's based upon a specific dogma of conditioning, as a track of education that has limited their processes. Okay? We're not in that situation. We're involved in the dynamics of exchange of thought. We're involved constantly in re-engineering and we can at our discretion do what we wish would the resources that we have. Now, as far as occupation goes, that ain't going to last and that ain't going to be allowed. In whatever place it does happen, yes, I can see where we're going to have to be able to blend in, exfiltrate and infiltrate, if possible. I think people still don't fully understand the idea that those concrete donuts that are around every one of the cities that exist right now are designed as patrol grids. They're already used by the cops to this degree. Military application means that they could choke them off with a limited number of control points. Why? Wait a minute, what do they call those things? Limited access highways. Let's repeat that. Limited access highways. Now it would behoove you. In fact, I would definitely ask that you do a map survey of your area and physically recon all of the overpasses and underpasses in your area of operation. There are many underpasses that are remote that will be easier to use in the initial stages of any kind of activities or occupation so that you can move past the control grids. Keep this in mind, know where all of the places are, where there are underpasses or overpasses. Underpasses are better. Faster, easier to use. You're out of sight and undercover for longer periods of time. You actually have Earth to defend you, whereas if you're sitting upon a bridge, you're a target for everyone and can be seen by everyone. Okay? So again, it's an option. It's what you may have to use. Otherwise, you have to infiltrate or exfiltrate across highways. Highways are, again, a form of vertical, although it's short. So we call the military an extended vertical control point. Not for going down the road on the concrete bands. You have to reverse your mindset. Consider the concrete bands as the patrol sector and a lane of fire. and the actual road itself is the control point. If it has a concrete barrier in the middle, all the better still because they can patrol from what they perceive to be the non-threat side and use the control barrier, the wall, you know, the deflection wall in the middle of the highway, as a defensive or demarcation parapet. If you move the vehicle up, they can... fire over the parapet, the concrete parapet slash safety wall offers a certain amount of armor protection separate from everything else for the majority of the vehicle or for the infantry on the ground. Start thinking, looking at this properly. In fact, you're seeing some of this over in the Middle East right now. You've seen it in Lebanon. And you also see it with what's going on in Iraq. What they're conditioning everybody for in Iraq with the control freaks operating over there, they want to bring back here to the United States. Easy to understand. Anyway, point is, can-do attitude. Gotta get around it, gotta work, we're gonna work through it, and we're gonna get through the other side successfully. What does this also mean? Solutions, with regard to manufacturing. The big companies are gonna fail us completely. They're all betraying the nation, because they're all under their little global kick. Well, that's fine. When this is all said and done, they can sit their hind ends outside the United States. Those that have most of their operations out there just need to be kicked down the road the rest of the way, because they've already betrayed us, and there's no way we're gonna get any of those resources back. Ain't gonna happen. So with that being the case, you, the small businessman, the middle-sized businessman, are going to be the foundation of a nation that has to be rebuilt. It's not going to be big industry that does anything for us. In fact, again, the characters I talked about, the people who are sitting here, vacillating and agonizing committees, sitting with 10, 20, and 30 people, pointing at the guy at the left and never making a decision, are the people that have gravitated to all of these operations with these big businesses. They waste vast amounts of resources. They are not efficient in any way, shape, or form with regard to their operations, but they weren't meant to be. They're meant to collapse. Instead, you, the guy who can run the single machine, and you know, a drill press, a lathe, or as a skilled tradesman, can be a machinist, can be a tool and die man. You can be a carpenter. You can be a plumber. Whatever it is you're doing, you need the tools of your trade to get the job done. That's what you can do to focus to help build our nation. The parasites, the socialists, they're all going to still try to live off your back. They're going to try and jump on you and latch onto your throat and you'll have one, two, or three of these parasites trying to ride on you. And the socialists will continue to get worse about this, which is another reason we're going to have to shake them off our backs and we're going to have to get rid of the carcasses that drop to the ground when the time comes by kicking them with a boot and driving them down the road. That is part of what we're facing here. Now, again, can-do attitude. OK, there's a There's a little comment that was made used as a poster here for a while. It's lead follower get the hell out of the way. Well I would tie that in with another one which is, you know what, those of you who are telling us it can't be done, would you please get out of the way of the people who are doing it? You know what I mean? In other words, the whining, the wheezing, the backbiting, all of the nonsense needs to stop real quick. We're not talking about changing the color of the toilet, you know, the toilet paper dispenser in the White House. We're talking about three nutcases who have every intentions of absolutely gutting this country when they come to power. We're talking about the death of this nation. Another cue we used to use, that diversion you're trying to ignore is the funnel of salt you were expecting. In other words, oh, we've got lots of time. Oh, we've got, no, you don't. In fact, this is why I've been pressing this because the problem is this. We're in phase one where people, you know, Have you ever been in a situation where people are under fire? Have you ever watched around you? If you have to be a team leader, squad leader, platoon leader, I've grown up through the ranks so to speak in different situations, but I've usually ended up having to drag people along or at least, again, you go towards an action, you don't run from an action typically, okay, when you're part of a response team. Well, there's a moment when stuff starts and you look around and there's a pregnant pause. Everybody is reacting in different ways and in different, with different population groups. You have different responses. You have the flight routine. You have freezing your tracks. Or you move. If you move and you act, any kind of action is better than standing there and waiting in the kill zone, so to speak, or in a situation where you're just, you know, deer in the headlights. Okay? Well, there's that moment. And that's where we are right now. look around you. There are people that they kind of giggle or they hesitate or they the eyes while they're trying to say one thing to reinforce what they're saying. Look at their eyes. You read people, you start to learn to read people real quick. Pay attention around you and that's what I see. It's like in the beginning of a firefight. You hear that first pop, pop, pop, and I can't even, you really can't do it because when you realize it's totally random, it's response and response and response. But there's that subtle echo underneath the tree canopy. and it starts out with the first pop, with the first point of contact and pop, pop, pop, and everybody, there's that frozen moment in time where time dilates and slows down and you look around you and you see all the different responses taking place or reaction. Now if you've done well, which is what we're trying to do to help all of you that are listening, is you're not going to react, you're not going to panic. What we want is intelligent response. I do not care about the boobies who say, I don't need a guest, If you're a social school good, then you don't need one, okay? The people who are listening follow through on what it is. You decide with your heart. But I'm gonna tell you something. Do you think I would put this out on the air if it weren't for the fact that I didn't think it was very, very, very important? Now, what tells me that it's really important is we've had a couple of calls at one point or another, anonymous, at different points where they said, well, go to your mask, it's only gonna be good for 15 minutes, ha, ha, ha. And I'll repeat what we said a couple days ago about this. I like to use what they actually use, the same dowels you use for doing coat hangers. in the coat dowels or inside of closets that you can get at the lumber mill. Usually they're 8 foot to 10 foot long. Those are really cool because they're tall. Now the other option is PVC pipe. Remember you're using a nylon flag guys. It's lightweight. It's not going to put a whole lot of stress on a 10 foot section of PVC pipe. You can use 3 quarter inch. Okay, put in caps on it, tighten it up a little bit if you want to. Anyway, the point is, you put the flag on that, now you've got all these cool state flags showing up, and many different states. This is also going to reinforce the whole idea that Ron Paul has supporters from all over the country. Now if we can get 50 state flags there, fantastic. If we can't, oh well. But do as close, get as close as we can. For you guys who are on the East Coast, this is your opportunity to shine. And I know it's during the work week. Tell me about it. Like we don't understand work week, okay, especially with the economy we are in. But guess what? This is part of the cost of being part of this campaign. Advanced parties are on the ground right now in Northeastern Ohio for one of the will be a joint exercise with some Pennsylvania militia units and I guess you're gonna have some visitors coming up from the Carolinas too, so Our colonial marine units will also be meeting as a collective Command group during the knob Creek weekend coming up We may film part of that because that'll be kind of like the Colonial Marine annual conferences that have been taking place in the past But it's probably end up being a preliminary so for all the Colonial Marine militia units that are out there again be prepared to send representatives Notifications gonna take place. I believe that we're gonna have representatives from Zussman Ackerman when we have that particular set of meetings down at The doctor is gonna be there for the meetings down at Mound Creek watch and see what happens there In addition, of course, these training exercises coming up this weekend will involve live fire and mechanized elements. Now, I'm going to warn everybody about two things. A, when you're operating an armored vehicle or if you're operating as a driver in a situation where you have to move troops, you make sure you have what basically is a crew chief, if it's an APC or if it's a truck or whatever, his job is to make sure, or her job, is to make sure that when people dismount that the vehicle isn't going to move until they are clear. Now, everybody has a task. This is a secret to mechanized operations people. Everyone has a task on the vehicle, even as crewmen that are being transported with a motor taxi, or battlefield taxi as they're called. When that happens, you want to make sure that you understand your job, pay attention and stay focused. Another thing, In exercises like this and even with live fire although we do work both ways I would recommend using a helmet now There's a reason it's not all the times that you're gonna You don't run safely through the woods or dismount from a vehicle But there's that one time where your eyes misjudge the height of something And the first time that you're a forehead smacks into that crossbar on an APC or a light armored vehicle or even on a say a suspension bar on one of the trucks or like a crossbar that's you know for one of the gates. When you jump out it really really really rings your gourd. On the other hand with the helmet in place and I don't care if it's a US M1 steel pot, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, those work just fine we got millions of them. or if it's a Kevlar helmet or if it's a Swedish helmet, the Model 39 or Model 29. By the way, those have saved my life twice and I'm going to tell you flat out, they have saved my life twice. Nothing more than a simple $5.60 helmet but because the steel was there instead of my noggin, I'm able to talk to you day on the air. Okay? So helmets are a plus with mechanized because you're around things that are heavier and pad more durable than you are. Another thing is at night in operations, you might not see that branch or you may run into that tree that your night vision well missed. And this happens too when I say night vision, I'm talking natural night vision. So the helmet and even conventional body armor, even though the older armor will work just fine to offer a limited amount of protection, but key protection when it comes to physical impact injuries. Okay, this is critical. The armor does its job, the helmet does its job. So take advantage of that. Now most important is when you're using equipment like that, try to standardize. But if you can't standardize in the basic design, at least modify your camouflage covers so that all of you are using the same pattern of cover. This allows for target identification and recognition. A couple little tricks that we're going to be covering in one of the new equipping videos has to do with signature IDs so that even if someone tries to be deceptive to break through or to move through a formation, It won't work because there's a key piece of equipment specifically signature to your formation. That way you know who's who in the zoo. Okay, in other words, you can look at a person right off the bat, you can idea a certain piece of equipment that's there. It can be any number of different items that are unique to your formation. And we're going to be discussing that as part of what's called upsec. operational security. We have taught many, many tens of thousands of people this process, in fact hundreds of thousands. And because of that, the militia formations that are out there that are strengthening the cause are passing the information on yet to more people. Now, standardization, there is no such thing. There is no standardization. Why? Well, the other side is hoping that Mark or somebody's going to fixate on a certain object and say, no matter what, you know, just do this and nothing else. Get this rifle and nothing else. You will never hear me say that. There are two reasons. Number one, you have a variable budget. The guy I'm talking to that might be in, say, Utah has the ability to buy a $1,200 rifle and not think twice about it. You, on the other hand, I was thinking $1,200 if I had that I could outfit the whole family. Yeah, you're right. Well, that's the whole point, is that there's differences, there are variances in available resource. So you're going to have to tailor what you've gained on your equipment to your budget and your budget restrictions, combined with your overall needs. Now, another advantage is this, and I'm going to reinforce it again. If we were all on the same caliber, all the other side has to do is cut one caliber off. On the other hand, for sustained operations in the field, especially with irregular and unconventional slash para-conventional forces, having a wide range of munitions in the inventory and different types of weapon systems means that we won't be running out, but the other side may. Oh, they've forgotten, thought about that. You see, on the other hand, their supply and support can be choked off quite easily. So, diversification is a good thing, especially in a shaky economic condition where you're going to see whole systems disappear simply because nobody's making it. Okay? This is why a lot of these calibers or a lot of these weapons are what we call bridging systems. A bridging system is a weapon system or a piece of equipment that you can use that is useful for the moment, it is durable, it's reliable, But it may be limited in that resupply through enemy occupation isn't going to take place. However, it's enough to get, not only get you started, but enough to get you whatever you need. And when the time comes, that particular system can be passed on to secondary troops, new recruits coming in, or individuals that may have a different mission and do not require the same type of sustainable, you know, ability that you're going to need for combat operations. See how that works? security force, for instance, security operations to the rear, handing better weapons off to the family members that are not going to be in the front line, but still, again, are receiving weapons that are older. There is no such thing. You will never hear me use the word obsolete. There is no such thing. Okay? Everything and anything has an application in use. The important thing is to understand the limits and the potential of the weapon system or the equipment that you're using. Now, I'm going to touch on gas masks one more time. There's a whole bunch of companies out there. The most important thing is that you get something and then upgrade as you can. Why? Well, because as you can upgrade, you will be able to build up an inventory to have replacements or spares or backup systems in place. I'll touch a little bit more on that when we come back. What we're doing is planning to see these are basic ideas, things that have worked or have been used over the years quite successfully. If you tweak the system, that's your option. We're not arguing with you about it at all. This is the basic, and we're getting started out with the basics. It's like talking about armor and helmets and whatever. There's some people going, well, I've never used a helmet. Well, that's good. Then you've never used a helmet. Congratulations. You're from another school. Okay, that's a good thing. We love other schools. We want lots of diversification out there. Why? Because that way it's going to keep the enemy guessing. Okay, let them, you know, let them eat static. As I said, remember that line from Star Trek? Let them eat static. That's exactly how it's going to work. There is no simple, easy formula for predicting militia deployments because we have many schools of thought. This is a wonderful thing. You may fight Fred today and think that you've got it figured out, but when you fight Charlie tomorrow and you fight Frank the next day, you're going to find out you've got a world of hurt on you because no two people think the same way and they weren't given any fixed dogma. It is critical to victory, diversification, being unpredictable, being creative, and part of that is timing because there's only so many things you can do. So the other part is just like when people talk about boxing or martial arts or even when it comes to leading on a target with a firearm, people, timing is everything. You're not leading properly. If you don't know the performance level of your weapon, if you do not understand how it integrates with your body and you bring it to bear, you will probably miss. Now there's still a good... So here's a possibility of a hit, but the more adept you are at understanding all of the different elements of the formula. the more competent and the more positive the end result when it comes to deployment and action. And that's where we've got to be thinking constantly. You've got to be looking ahead. We've got a lot of work to do. We've got a lot of good things happening right now. But what I have seen, especially with the questions that are being asked, and I always know this, we have a wide range of people with regard to experience and backgrounds. Some people, and I thank you for the compliment, have been listening to what we've been saying and have been following through. The compliment is when you come back and say that it worked. Now, in some cases, people didn't listen to what I said. And then we'll lament or make some comment that doesn't make any sense because if you go back and listen to the archives, you know, that's a problem with us nowadays. Somebody could say, no, you didn't say that. You said this. Really? Go back to the archive and listen. See, that's one of the most common mistakes this made, is people are kind of hearing the words move, but they're not focusing, not paying attention sometimes. Or they got part of it, and I expect that, which is why we repeat things. You'll notice I reinforce it usually three times. Why? Because as an instructor and as a teacher, forgive me, I have had to do this for decades. I am used to the idea that I'm going to be dealing with somebody who may have absolutely no experience, but has been perhaps diverted in line because of conditioning through television, through radio, through school and so they have a misconception or they have a perception issue that is contrary to or in conflict with what we're doing with our instruction processes. I'm not just talking about being in the militia, I'm talking about working with the military, being in the army guys. I'm talking about working with Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and even the Coast Guard because we work with the Coast Guard too and having to deal with five different schools of thought of this is how we do it. or this is how I do it. Well that's good. However, for the moment the instructor is going to teach you this process, you're going to demonstrate this process and when you're done, if it doesn't catch on, well guess what? That's not Mark's problem. That's not me as the instructor's problem. That's your senior NCO's problem. You're all I see, Officer in Charge's problem. And that's your unit's problem if you people aren't working together. See how that works? See, I have worked as an officer in charge of different size formations and as an NCO over the years in different formations working up through the process. And I keep the memory box clean, okay? You've all got to do that too. Learn from the mistakes of others. You will not live long enough to make them all yourself. Learn from the mistakes of others.
