I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. Invist the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money is spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Both sons of the Republic arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right. And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As I awoke he vanished and missed for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each god given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside of the dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free? That's one of the most important things that can happen here. Now, and overall, we've had a lot of questions about AK-47s and AK-47 kits now. Oh, that's a little different story now. As far as kits go, we may not be able to find, there may be one company, and actually our guns may have some AK-74 kits. Our guns Forgive me, I don't have their number right here at my fingertips. I have been working on trying to catch up on that today and I've been buried with other stuff. But our guns out of Chicago go to the shotgun news. They may have kits. They do have AK-74 ammunition. The 545x39, it is the cheapest ammunition in the country right now. If you're looking for a shooting solution, then that's one direction. Now tell you what, we have a number of people working on the 545 upper receiver AR-15 projects. These are going to continue. Whoever gets there first, and I think I know who it's going to be, we're going to have that person up on the air, and you people who have air 15s will be able to feed your firearm in yet another caliber. No change over the bolt face, and obviously take the whole upper receiver and have another one ready to go, but if all you could do is buy the upper receiver without the bolt carrier and simply buy the bolt face, lo and behold, your existing bolt carrier would work just fine. The advantage is that there's no magazine change use a standard 5 4 5 ammunition in the 2 2 3 magazines remember just like the AR 15 mags that were in the 30 cal converters and conversions that were done by Colt with their little Colt carbine Colt 30s Same situation guys same magazines the big advantages no change in mags There won't be as many rounds in the mag, but who cares the idea is you're still feeding your rifle You're still putting rounds down range and you would still be combat effective That's right. So we're looking at solutions here. Now the AK-74, as far as complete rifles, right now Centerfire system has a number of the Romanian and also I believe, and forgive me but I got to look here real quick, as I recall they also have the Polish Tantal AK-74s. Now the cheaper of the two obviously is the Romanian. Magazines are available from several different sources. have to buy everything in one place. In other words, we've said before, if need be, you shop around to your discretion. But if you're looking for the AK-74 rifles, I'm going to give you a serial number even right here. I'm just fingering through the pages even as we speak with live radio. Here we go. Romanian AK-Wasser 5.45x39, which takes standard 30 round Bakelite mags, of course, standard AK-74 mags. Price is $350. The serial number for the rifle on their inventory is 38AKAGUN1238, AKAGUN12, that's for the Romanian AK-74. They may have some ammunition, I don't know, but I do know that they do have the 545 rifles. Now here's the thing, you want to go upper end AK-74, they've got the Polish Tantal 5.45x39, running about $550. Guys, go to Romanian. for $350, you've got the other $200 to spend on a whole can of ammo and you got 2,000 rounds. Come on, that's the cheapest way to put a rifle and 2,000 rounds of ammo on the shelf that I can think of right now. The AK-74 in whatever configuration that's about 350, $210 to $219 for 2,160 rounds of 53 grain full metal jacket, Russian manufactured military ball circa the 1980s. I would trust that ammunition for one reason or nothing else. They were trying to kill us back then, okay? More so than they are now. They were open about their hostilities. Now they might be a little behind, you know, of course they're working behind the scenes with the ring knockers in different forms. But here's the thing, back in that time, they were planning on using that ammunition on us. So they wanted to make sure it was accurate, consistent, and that it worked. We're also involved in it. We speak to hell. In Afghanistan. Well, read your Kipling, young men and women. Find Rudyard Kipling's works. Read what he had to say about Afghanistan. That's all you got to do. In fact, I'm challenging you because we need to have our people well read and our students who are involved in military science need to understand the many battlefields we face. We don't plan on fighting there, but understand that's the kind of tenacity that the American people are going to have to drive out the invaders that are here now. Now the AK-74 fine rifle, no problem with it. I'm going to say something right now again, just like the regular AK-47 and all the other AKM and AKS variants, my preference is for the solid thumb hole, say, SVD type stocks. There is a reason for this. I like two, there's two aspects. Number one, the Beaverboard stock is stable enough and it's pretty reliable. However, and there's you've probably got one on the rifle already if you do leave your rifle the way it is except remember that with Centerfire systems if you go a little farther into their webpage or if you go to their goodies their goody pages where they have all their fun stuff that They're marking down that they made packages up. They've got an AK accessory package You can get the AK 74 Romanian. I'm sorry the SVD from whole stock the standard SVD stock plus mag pouches plus cleaning kits plus shell extractor, et cetera, et cetera. Oh, and a gun lock. You can use that for a fishing weight, okay? For $14.99, the stock is worth that. The laminated Romanian stock, if you're gonna switch the stock over anything, go to the rigid SVD type sniper stock on the AK-74 or the AK. This gives you a stronger stock configuration because you have two points of contact, the pistol grip, and the back of the stock where the normal fixture screw is. The other advantage, well let's say I'm changing mags, I got the weapon close to my chest, I'm dropping the mag, something pops up in front of me. Now, I might not quite have the grip I want on it, but let me put it this way, if I take that weapon and I do a push-up with my rifle squared to somebody's face, that reinforced rib that's at the bottom of that thumbhole stock is going to turn his face into a mouthful of chiclets. boom and he ain't gonna feel too good now you do a quick one two three strokes with that rifle like that and the enemy is down now you might even get some good stuff out of that but the point is obviously we'd rather have a loaded rifle I know all the things everybody say well you're gonna catch me like that well that's not how the battlefield works you're working in a built-up area or a close wooded area you think you're walking through a secure point you're in the middle of a kill zone or you've walked through an enemy ambush pre-deployment that was a hasty ambush. They pop up in front of you, you may not be able to get that barrel around, but you know what, if you think fast, you're a good burly guy. You can smack that rifle base right into his face like that, and you've given him an instant to where he's going to have to think about it while you've got a few more instances to maybe turn that muzzle around and go pop pop. Or, if you've done it quietly enough, maybe nobody... ...work on getting them back. I would, uh, professional fighter for a personal fight can have six times at... down to the, you know, millimeter. Hands up to his throat, he's gonna be gagging. Whereas the man with his nose, he's gonna be purr-ing to fall and you're gonna be, you know, sleepin' for a while. Know what I mean? And it won't be as flary-mo and curly. Heck, how about a blow directly to the, to the, to the neck column where I'm tuning your world. And... I do believe when we get back we'll have Mark with us. He'll look at what is behind you and drive you onto that so that you fall. Or you catch that limb at the top of your head and all of a sudden you're looking down while your opponent's still looking right at you. There's more on that, we'll talk about eyes. Creating a distance, I've said many times to an army with one leg. What happens to an army with no legs rather, that is won't be an army with one leg. with one leg and army with no legs die you choose to see in one place long and packing up you know you can lay it out right now if you review the history well gee you got your dick and you got your set on the uh asshole you know they're shooting b****** you know what they're doing they're digging trenches or even you know you duck don't selves you know like bear but what's funny is you know no matter how we look at it things may have sped up but the basic techniques have not changed yes they're still youngsters and you know but age and treachery will beat youth and inexperience anytime to come here to learn. One of these guys turned showing me that picture and I was impressed with this book and then I told him why. Here's a guy he's punching and he's got one foot and I'm up for it because if he were to punch with both ground he'd be able to punch with the muscles from his toes right down to his knuckles. It shows me another picture and he's really, look at these guys, they're really going at it. You know what, I looked at everybody in the room and I said to him, what's wrong with this picture? And somebody spoke up and said, wow. You're supposed to be masters, eyes closed. You're a good student and I'll repeat that to everybody else here because you know, you have to know what's going on. We've addressed it, we've called it whack-a-mole. You know if you keep your head up from the opponent, if you're shooting, if you're in a gunfight and your opponent wants to stick his head up, shoot and hide, You just wait for him. You keep your head above the fender or above the precipice or out from behind the tree, above the rock or whatever your situation is. And when he sticks his head up again, you shoot him. How did you accomplish that? You were because I told you we'd talk about back on now because it did more painful to fall off of one. It's not getting up. It's dropping down that really causes problems. Yes, but I haven't seen one in about 15 or 20 years either. So I'm pretty certain I could be in a cycle, ride it around, do turns and you know, that and all of that. You know what? Motorcycles fall down left and right. You put your foot number two in the nose, he's going to lay one on your temple. He's going to shoulder and it'll work over one eye of his opponent and say he works over your left eye for fighting with a gun. You know, I got some buddies up here, they're actually born and bred, and you know, it's There's nothing wrong with that. You know, there's plenty of people around the nation if they choose to walk around barefoot. Barefoot, you guys, if that pebble gets under my... You know what? With your hands, step on something. You... Look at what you stepped on as examples so that people... These guys, they come up, work it over and over, Mark. Some people go over there, don't step on that pit. Whatever the need is that you're a job over your opponent. But again, you're engaged in a hand and you step on something and you go out and look at your foot. this is true of combat operations of all types firearm or hand to hand let's put it this way, most people go well, I want to be a martial artist even a martial artist will tell you that depending on the situation the reason you're using your hand to hand skills is to get a rifle You know, you may have been, you know, shell-shocked. You may have been hit by something too close. Your weapon may be shot, it may be damaged, it may be broken. It could be something that, you know, just is completely out of your control. But you're in a situation now where the battlefield is rolling over you, that the conditions of the battlefield have changed. In that situation, you have to fix your mind under the idea that you're not going to give up. But just to reverse, either you're going to pull something off somebody else's body who might be nearby if you're lucky, and it was unlucky for them. Or, you're going to end up having to use the tools that are available, starting out with your hands. Now, if you can improve something and put it in your hands, better still, because that gives you the ability to inflict that much more pain and damage to a target that you plan on disarming and then reusing, you know, and rearming yourself with. One of my instructors, he said, you know, he used to do this, Don, he'd go, well, would you name a martial art for me? And everybody'd go, Taekwondo, you know, Hapkido. even boxing can be mentioned. He goes, yep, that's true. Yes, that's true. He goes, what about stick? How about knife? What about gun? Yes, that's right. Because in every instance where these were, these special techniques have been born out. It's because of, oh, that's right. The landed gentry and the police state of its day didn't want the peasants to be able to defend themselves because they wanted the tax collectors to come out and be able to steal with reckless abandon. The very reason that our arming came about from the issue, as we've mentioned before, the Magna Carta. The whole purpose was because of unjust action and the fact that as part of the defense or a series of checks and balances, the armed individual, the armed person, it was necessary for each to be equally armed if they were free men to ensure that their security was in place so they could maintain their liberty. And if you, you know, if The population had to be conniving, sadly enough. This developed a lot of different techniques that are, well, actually quite effective. But the reason they did is because they were having to counter state-of-the-art weapons of the day. Yes. You know, there's even, many have seen this, they try to depict it, but even the man who was trained as the adept with any arm available, I would say the samurai, okay? Has anybody ever seen a last desperate, what's called a slap defense? There's another, there's a Japanese name for it, but that's the only way to describe it. It's in the event you're disarmed, you lost your weapons in the process of combat. and you're back to the point where you have only your hands available. Typically there's going to be a killing strike against the crown of your head or an area of your shoulder. What would happen is the idea is to bring both of your hands together with as much energy as possible and with your eyes coordinate striking the blade and locking it. Yes. Now here's the problem with that. Timing is everything. Oh yes. You might still end up with a blade stuck partially in your noggin but at least it didn't split your garden too. uh... you might lose a palm you could lose a few digits on the other hand you might do exactly what's intended to state and then twist and the purpose is to try and disengage the enemy and possibly rearm yourself now that's a worst-case scenario and that's against of that by a person who was already trained and who was under the assumption that he would be using his swords and of course it was a great embarrassment a loss of faith who's your source to actually be disarmed So even there, even with all the prowess and the professionalism yada yada yada, it still came down to, oh but just in case, here's a little trick. Now the same is true with hand-to-hand combat even in the age of nuclear weapons. If we use that argument, I'm getting tired of that BS. Nuclear weapons. Have you seen any major cities flattened recently? And let's say they do start that. Oh well, you're not there. If you're still breathing, you can see it from a distance. You're still operational. Guess what? The world hasn't changed for you. Now if you're underneath that device, it's no different from being underneath the thousand pound blockbuster. Real bad day, sorry about that. You're in the wrong place at the right time. May God have you on your soul. That's right. Congratulations. Otherwise, you know what? You keep fighting. And that's one of the problems here is that you know, like we've said, I went through every magazine I had that I was carrying, 22 magazines, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop. I had to switch to my pistol because I couldn't recover any more ammunition. Unfortunately, we're being overrun in the process. Guy smacks me in the head, butt strokes me or whatever. I lose my handgun. Now, I'll reach. At that moment, I have a number of options to choose from, but at the very least, if I am trained properly, counterbalancing, you know, counterstriking the enemy, bringing him off balance, I may actually acquire the weapon that he was forced to use as something other than a firearm. See how that works? Which is why what Dan is talking about applies here. And it still applies when you're fighting, you're just extending your punch with a rifle bullet. That's where this goes. And I mean, most people don't think about it that way. When you're moving, you're moving in a crab walk. You're advancing forward. When you're in a situation with likely contact, you may not have initiated contact. But all of your senses are moving just as you would if you were boxing or if you were involved in karate or any kind of taekwondo. I don't care what it is, it works the same way. You extend your senses. And that's an issue that has not really been addressed. People think it's just shoot and scoot, and that's not all there is to it. You have to be 100% wise somebody's going to find a way to put a boat in an eye. And there's still the random act of God, as we know. I mean, as they say, when it's your time, it's your time. So don't lament about that. That's something that gets me about these people because it's like, you know, oh my god, but this could happen and this could happen and this could happen and well, congratulations. I've seen so many car accidents and people dead, most of you have too, that you couldn't really probably remember if you're 50 years old how many people you've seen dead or mutilated on the highways. I want to tell you a secret, you guys. You know, using that, please. Yes, you'd be amazed how many people turned back. turn blue during instruction this sounds weird but I don't care if it's pistol rifle shotgun or hand-to-hand combat yes it is the most common mistake that is made by young individuals that are being trained they're so intense they're so wanting to puff up they're so wanting to get you know big that they don't think about sometimes the basics the body needs oxygen if you're going to perform at a maximum level if it's rifle marksmanship or if it's hand-to-hand combat It still comes down to oxygenating the body, allowing the mind to work at its peak, and then utilizing the training that you have combined with that body, which is at its peak performance level, to initiate, engage, destroy, and then carry on with the mission. As long as we pointed out. People like you say, lock up, fence, and, oh, I'm doing this and I'm in it. Shut down certain systems. Unfortunately, what happens is the first of your limbs and what's controlling your weapons or what's going to be throwing that punch. be avoided. Oh Spike, I'm sorry, I'm hoping you're still with us.
