Mark Koernke discussed vehicle modification and preparedness strategies, focusing on practical upgrades for older vehicles including stainless steel fuel and brake lines, exhaust systems, and self-sealing fuel tank liners. He emphasized the economic advantage of purchasing and progressively upgrading inexpensive used vehicles rather than financing new ones, and covered alcohol fuel conversion options for pickup trucks. The show included detailed segments on gas mask systems (M10, M17, M15 models), filter compatibility, and proper storage and maintenance protocols. Koernke also promoted upcoming health seminars by Craig from Forbidden Knowledge TV in the Michigan area and discussed various preparedness equipment available through sponsors like Main Military Supply.
I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave, in this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Before we go any farther here, we're going to follow through a little bit of what Don was talking about with the last tower. Thursday, March 27th, Forbidden Knowledge TV show host Craig is giving a free lecture on health alternatives that really work. Demonstrated improvement will be live blood cell nutritional analysis with dark field microscopy, healing light with low level laser and the amazing process of biotarine analysis. Time will be from 7 to 9 p.m. It's free for its Emporium, 129A, West 48170. Again, to 9 PM on March 27th, which will be this Thursday coming up. Let's see, free attendance, health emporium, this is the health emporium, 129A West Lake Street, Lyon, Michigan 48178. Now there's going to be a second seminar, different location I believe here, but let's double check to make sure. It's going to be on March 29th. And that is a Saturday, so from 8 in the morning to 4.30 pm. Now this is an all day event. The cost of the admission is normally $40, but here's a chance for viewers of the show to attend free. Let's contact Craig before the event to get his special offer at, now listen to this, it's forbiddenknowledgeatyahoo.com. So give Craig quick call at forbiddenknowledgeatyahoo.com. One more time, that's F-O-R-B-I-D-D-E-N. K-N-O-W-L-E-D Yahoo dot. Right after the seminar, Craig will be speaking himself in Livonia from 5 to 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. about other health alternatives. But this meeting is by special invite only for Healing Light seminar attendees. Again, that's on Saturday, March 29th. from 8 in the morning to 4.30 pm and you got to give Craig a quick email at forbiddenknowledge at yahoo.com. Do that if you're in the Michigan area and you want to find out more about what's happening on March 29th with the events that are taking place there. It's going to be an interesting experience. Craig's done some fantastic work with Public Access Television. He's been doing programming for quite some time. especially like the way that he set up some of his intros, the leader going into the program is really cool by the way. It's just something you remember that I remember from that 1972 to 1978 period, mostly from the 1972 to 1973 period by the way. And he did it totally independent. But it's cool because the style that he used was unique. And that's what we need is different things going on out there. We don't want everything to be exactly the same. want everything to be you know we want to mix things up a little bit you know variety is the spice of life in this case and with video and audio we have an opportunity to do just that which is what we're trying to do for you anyway got a couple events there we'll reinforce those in the next day or two here but the first is Thursday March 27th Forbidden Knowledge. We got Craig and that will be at the Health Emporium 7 to 9 p.m. 129A West Lake Street, South Lyon, Michigan. That's north of Ann Arbor by the way for those people who don't know where to look for it on the map. The other is Saturday, March 29th and that will be, I would assume, Northville, Michigan. That'll be from 8 in the morning to 4.30 p.m. and then of course Craig will be speaking from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. forbiddenknowledgeatyahoo.com. If you email Craig there to find out more, you'll have an idea what's going on. Anyway, more to announce on that later. On the subject that Don was talking about with conversions. Now, the basic rule, I don't know how many of you have actually done upgrades for, for instance, defense cars or for limousines, things of that nature, when you're armoring them up. For the longest time, long before most people really got into stainless, stainless steel was the solution for hardening up a lot of your lines. make them a little safer in general and strengthening the system. Example is you go with connectors rather than simply, you know, tube splicing and things of that nature. It means you're going to have to first of all, you know, bend your pipe to the dimension you need and flare the end and put actual threaded connectors from point to point, you know, for joint to joint, whenever you have a place where you have to put a new jointer in or make a really odd curve and you have to bend two different components. This is a good idea because it strengthens the system up and armors it to a degree from other problems that may occur going cross-country with a vehicle Having used it in rough terrain I can attest this where I've successfully had part of the job work done But didn't have the rest completed now remember my little police interceptors the diplomats Number three the white one that you see in mark versus the police state I'd already done this the fuel lines and a good portion of the other components to include the brake lines and stainless heavy stevas, the thick gauge, and it costs a little extra money, but the idea behind this is that when you have to put extra stress or tension on it, we already are using a police package frame. Remember that police package vehicles are extra heavy typically anyway. They were done as fleet vehicles for the police departments, tie rod ends, all the suspension bars, anything and everything that can be beefed up usually is almost twice or at least 7 8's the thickness of the regular performance components made for the say over the over the counter cars that normally are sold to the public. So when you can get all these older police flying that they have all the beefed up components you need, now what you do is modify the the fewer hydraulic lines, modify all of your fluid lines in general so that they will withstand a lot more abuse and they can take more damage when you're when you're having use under special conditions. Now that gets you another thing with regard to exhaust. You know in the past stainless steel exhaust would be a whoa man that's a cool that's outrageous expense well guess what there is stainless all over the place out there and yes I know most everybody's scrapping stuff nowadays one of the yards that we used to use all the time down here on Jackson Road south of Dexter is now nothing but a scraper yard for the cars that come in. They just tear them down, they save the important components, but all the little pieces are gone. Well, one of the things that they do is they break out that old cutting wheel and they take off the stainless exhaust and throw it over in the stainless scrap because it's worth more. Well, think about this. Let's say that you have a vehicle but you don't want to necessarily spend top dollar, but you got a few people know what they're doing. Remember, you can cannibalize off a wreck. a stainless exhaust system and then modify it accordingly to work with your vehicle. Or, if you want to spend the money, you can actually buy stainless exhaust in quantity in the raw stock and have a person put it together and put it in place. This will alleviate some of the other exhaust issues. Remember, you get a certain amount of fuel. through the air flow that passes through the system that is going to settle into the exhaust. And if you're dealing with a more corrosive combustible, then you're going to end up with rust problems. That's just one of those things to look at. Now you can either A, go with a thicker wall conventional steel, or you switch over and go to stainless. I'm going to tell you I've been doing this for years, rebuilding a lot of different vehicles. No, no, I don't build Super Mopar. We've got some friends that do. Wahoo's out there listening right now, and I know that Wahoo's into Mopar, and I appreciate that. He's got a whole pile of really cool cars, and a lot of which I went back in the day, and even now, I wish I had. Fancy challengers and satellites, but I've got a charger here that's my oldest boy who was working on. and of course the diplomats, they were cheap to get into. For a few hundred dollars you had everything that was under the hood in a performance car. Like say a Challenger or a Charger or even the later, I remember the Cordova's, the original Cordova's, not the little K-car Cordova's. The big Cordova's would be soft Corinthian leather. All that was was a Charger with a different body on it. Okay, so there's a lot of cool parts you can get off those Cordova's. Unfortunately in Canada they collect them, so now there was something there. Anyway, point is, stainless where possible because it alleviates a lot of the sensitivity problems you're worried about. And here's the other thing, once you put it on, you don't ever have to do anything with it again, people. Typically when you put stainless in place, it's there for the life of the car unless you do something really bizarre like crumple it with another vehicle, okay? Or decide to meet Mr. Tree head on and then, well obviously, it's not healthy for any kind of material no matter what's attached. So, what you need to look at is, again, what can you find laying around? Well, one of the considerations, like I said, are wrecks. Car wrecks, especially on newer vehicles, typically the Honda was the first to do this. They have stainless steel exhaust on a lot of those vehicles. Now you've got to match up dimension and size, so you're going to have to do a little studying and research. But let's say you've got a friend right now that works in a scrapyard. That friend can kind of help you out. When those long pieces are sitting on that wreck that just got flattened in the front end, Well, all they got to do is take the saw and go up to wherever they think it's useful or wherever you can, as far as you can, cut off the connectors because the car is going to be fragged and scrap and chipped anyway or squashed. Well, you take off that stainless pipe, put it off the side, and you pay them a few dollars and get yourself a stainless exhaust that way. You know what? Chances are you even end up with the right muffler if you look patiently and long enough. How do you like that? So that eliminates that issue. And once you put the stainless on, other than the fact that, well, like I said, if you crush the car, she's going to be there with you until you're finished with that car. Now, another recommendation, car or truck. If you're going to do an alcohol conversion vehicle, or for that matter, as we've mentioned before, any of these other modifier vehicles, I would recommend doing a pickup truck. Why? Well, let's look at the average situation that's going to develop here. Progressively, as the economy folds in on itself, people are going to be wanting or would be desirable to be more remote and or operate in a more remote place. Well which is more valuable to you as a conversion car? A four-door automobile like a say a Taurus or a Honda Civic. Now those are nice vehicles and if you can afford to do that you do that. But a pickup truck say with a jump cab like a Dakota an S-10 that you might find down the road here for $400 or $500 would be a better choice to convert over to alcohol because, well, once it is converted, it can be used for many, many other projects. And if you're going to have a still set up, is it not going to be more likely to be in remote areas, locations where it's out of the way and you're already deployed? In other words, when you're deployed, you're going to be needing to build and make your own fuel? That's right. So you see, then it would make sense that your utility vehicles, or at least that you have a utility vehicle off to the side, that can handle the alcohol fuel. Now that's the way to, no, this again, tactical response. How to make all of your systems work. Does this mean that you throw away the gasoline driven cars you got? Hell no. You know, think for a minute here people. What you do is apply certain technologies to certain areas for specific mission application. When you're done, now you've got everything you need and you still use the fuel pump if you have to, it's in town. Or you can use your supply point way out in the boondocks or somewhere in between. We're going to go to our break. We'll be back in about three minutes here. We the People Radio Network, this is Mark. Intel Report in the afternoon this Monday. Take the time. Paul LeGanger right there, and the band is doing fantastic. They've got the new music up. Check them out. Real quick here, main military supply. A lot of you guys picked up the gas mask from them. I'll point out that they have some pretty good buys on a regular basis. There's some stuff that we've grabbed. We are going to be working on the gas mask filter situation. I have not brought that up, but they do have the East German M10 gas mask filters. They've got German G3 cleaning kits. $30 for a dozen right now, which is not bad. These are the plastic green kits. They also have the East German AK cleaning kits. Well, these are in the tobacco tin of the blue steel. Tobacco tin, I have a bunch of them. They're $30 for a dozen of them, $3 a piece. Now these are all 30 caliber cleaning kits. The other is the Romanian AK buttstock cleaning kit. Those are 30 for a dozen so if you're and you can mix and match on the cleaning kits It's okay to get it to get the dozen price by the way They also have 2,000 count cleaning patches 2,000 pre-cut of the military type cleaning patches $9.99 for 2,000 which is a big that's a little bail right there guys And this is the kind of stuff that I've mentioned before ain't the razor. It's the blades maintenance on the weapons is critical I cannot stress this enough. Okay, everybody thinks about weapons and ammunition and magazines, but they don't think of all the support equipment. Magazine pouches. You got 20 magazines. You got 10 magazines. A lot of people have done this. They bought a bunch of magazines, put them on the shelf, but nobody has bought the support equipment to go with it. Guys, match up the kits that fit with the equipment that you're using. match up the cleaning kits so that all of your weapons will be maintained and you should have a cleaning kit per rifle. You could share a cleaning kit but if you've got 12 rifles and they've all been used and you've got one cleaning kit, it takes a hell of a long time and you're wasting a whole lot of resources. Everybody else sitting around there waiting for that to happen. Instead, and it doesn't cost much anyway, you're talking $3 per kit. Okay, actually less than, what am I talking about Mark? Slap me on that one. Less than $3 per kit or about $3 per kit. before a dozen of them and that makes it definitely worthwhile for you to pick them up. $30 per dozen for the East German for the G3 or for the Romanian cleaning kits. The East German are the HK91 type. Those are fantastic. All the others, perfectly serviceable and all of them are cool and by today's standards aren't going to be made as well as the stuff that you're picking up that's East Block or that's NATO Surplus. Now one more time, the contact number for main military supply is 207-989-6783. That's 207-989-6783. Give them a call. Actually, they're showing the cell phone too. I don't know if I should give that out or not, but I guess it's listed. So, you call at 207-989-6783. cell phone number 207557-9642. We'll do that once just in case. So those of you who need to get hold of the guys at Main Military Supply. Also, there is another source, but I'm going to wait. I'm going to be nice, but I'm going to give you a warning order. We have a source for a company that has chem suits, the gloves, the booties, and the bag for everything for the NATO Standard suits. 80 of the suits? No, there's not even that. There's 75 of the suits left. They are the same model that's sitting, hold on, listen to this right here, hear that? The case that's right here, that's within arm's reach where I'm sitting right now, has 10 sets exactly like this of the chem suits with the booties and the gloves and everything ready to go. Plus there's about 25 masks already prepped and cock-locked, ready to rock and roll here. Put it right here behind me. knows how many are actually there are no money there in lumps all around the property here for a reason so that i don't have to worry about you guys when you show up sharing a mask everybody's gonna have a gas mask because we continue to fight okay we need to make sure we protect all our people anyway this will become suits available this is just a warning order for all you out there are there's only 75 of them left because one of our friends just picked up 10 and then let us know about them and i can understand why they're going to be a large size during size large which is a good average size Smaller people could wear them because remember they have wrap around Velcro and they'll lock in. Now larger people, even the extra large could use the large's, it just means it'll be a little snugger for those of you who have. Remember, chem suits are designed to go over all of your regular clothes. They're bulky. We'll let you know more about that, but this is a little warning order that probably tomorrow, once I confirm what's going on tonight, we'll go from there. The chem suits will be another thing and another source to pick up, but right now, cleaning kits. The other gear that's available from Main Military Supply, 207-989-6783, you want to check them out. Also check out their closeout page. They've got some real good prices on East German and French trigger finger mittens. Okay, the standard leather and canvas, very nice. I have about 40 of them in one box that are stuck off to the side so that I could outfit an entire platoon. I give everybody a pair of these. you know so much of everything and i can outfit forty people in so many minutes just handed out to him get going handed out get going each person goes to a different station they get all their gear and they get on down the road but a platoon could be outfitted with a about fifteen minutes just laid out in progressive formation everybody goes on down the road and yet again what's along jobs by the way to put that inside joke you all know we got lots of long jobs anyway and we'll cover that in a second after the break to on the vehicles be creative now here's another thing don mentioned the liner material for uh... gas tanks one of the things that we look at that as is a is to create a self-sealing fuel tank much like for aircraft to reduce the threat of fire on board your car Even if you were not going to convert the vehicle over, a lot of people go, well, you know, well, the risk of fire with gasoline is always an issue if you get hit with, you know, small arms fire. That's true, which is why the U.S. Air Force rubber lined the fuel, created the rubber bladders and diaphragms that went inside the fuel tanks. Well, this new rhino coat type material that goes inside your fuel tank that creates a plastic inner tank, serves kind of the same solution to a degree, doesn't it? Now here's another idea. You could also take the tank off, make sure it's clean, dress it up, clean it up, and then rhino coat the outside of it. That creates a second seal shield, which isn't a bad idea. By the way, if you're a Dodge owner, you might recall that your Ram Dodge trucks like your Snow Commanders and your M880s, they already have plastic fuel tanks. You didn't realize why they did that, it's because those were military contracts. The Dodge Snow Commander is the knockoff of the military M880 Dodge Ram truck. Standard square body like you saw built for the civilians in the 70s. Plastic tanks for a reason. There are plastic tanks out there. Hey, that's right, I forgot about that. And they made saddle tanks, they made rear mounted tanks, they make back seat mounted tanks. You know, behind the seat, all kinds of systems out there. Now you want to make sure that you do protect them a bit and shield them. So there are some things you can do to include deflection plates, Kevlar panels from the bathroom stalls like we mentioned before. I think I'll have to do that as a separate thing on another program because armoring is something people have been asking about. But the basic sealing systems, if all else fails, it'd be worth it to invest in buying a new gas tank and then sealing it with a special material like Don was talking about. cleaning everything up on the outside, making sure it's squared away, and sealing it outside with a Rhino coat, and then installing the new fuel tank accordingly. See how that works? Not that hard. Plus, I would use stainless strapping to lock the fuel tank into place. That's just another step. It's not that complicated. It's a lot easier than you might think, but it will get the job done. Okay, so we have a lot of, there are a lot of solutions. Now, some of you are going to say, that's a lot of work on a vehicle. Well, I do, we've done this progressively with vehicles over the years to keep them on the road for 100, 200 and, oh, by the way, 300,000 miles. Most people that know the vans that they've seen me drive know that they averaged about 300,000 miles per vehicle. We don't buy anything new. Mark doesn't buy anything new because I cannot afford anything new in the way of a vehicle. So instead, the logic is this. Rather than spending $500 and giving it to a stranger in an alien bank that's going to screw the country, why not spend so many hundred dollars on the vehicle every so many weeks and upgrade it progressively to the point where the thing is better than anything built on the road? See how that works? And it can still be a clunker on the outside. I don't change the paint job. I want everybody to think it's not worth that much, not worth stealing or taking. In reality, the thing will run farther, longer, and faster, and it will run efficiently, which is the key. Check out Mark and the Police State on the vids. You will find, I just go down this road right here that I live on, and I'm going to walk by or drive by, depending on what I do, anywhere from 8 to 20 vehicles for some of them. I'm not counting the snowmobiles and the boats and all the other toys that people are desperately trying to sell now. Okay, I'm talking about just cars and trucks. In fact, there's a nice little S-10 pickup truck over on Baker Road. for about $1,200. Nice little vehicle. Guy's a tow truck operator, probably pilfered it from somebody else who couldn't pay the tow fee or whatever, who knows. But the point is, for $300, $500, $1,000, you can get an 80s or a 70s or early 90s vehicle that is not pretty. May have it bent. Interior might be tired on it because somebody just beat the snow out of it. Puppy with the guy carried with him just tore the hell out of everything. Oh well, doesn't have to be pretty for it to be economical. And you know what you do? You start patching things up. Okay? Start thinking that way. Just do little bits and pieces and things here and there. Start watching for stuff other people are getting rid of to help fix it up. It doesn't have to be pretty. It's a service vehicle. It's designed to save you money. Now, like I said just before I went to the bottom of the hour break, guys, you spend $400 and some dollars a month on a payment. Most of that is interest to the shyster bankers who hate us, who think they're laughing, they're high enough because we're financing our country's demise. Okay? Instead, if you took the reverse policy and said save up a little money, buy that second car and spend, oh, imagine if you spent $500 on parts, how much and what you can do. You ever thought that through? Do the math real quick. Figure what you spend in one half year with $480 per month payment on a vehicle. You tell me if you get a nice car from say or a truck and a van is really nice or a truck That would be your first best choices from down south Michigan's got we've got metal moths because we got salt on the road You know Ohio you travel the roads around Columbus or anywhere along any of the big big hub cities And there are more cars on the road than Carter has little red pills. Okay, so instead you get to pick and choose what you want to modify You pull it back, actually you drive it back, because there won't probably be anything wrong with it, and you start looking at the cost. Now if somebody's going to say, well, what? Fuels was more fuel. Okay, let's do the math here, guys. If it's going to be just a short-range commuter and you use $200 worth of fuel, let's say $150 more fuel, but you paid for it once for the price of what you would have made a one-month payment on the vehicle, even if you pay more for the fuel, your math puts you ahead. But here's the kicker. We're not going to leave it as a gasoline driver. We're going to convert it over to alcohol as your alcohol touring car or your alcohol service vehicle. Now you've changed the dimensions for it completely. You see how this works? Now, unlike the other situation where you might have to take the best, nicest vehicle yet, real pretty little four-door, you're paying a $228 markup on every month when you're paying those payments, you can't afford to modify it because if they confiscate it, they ain't going to like the fact that you converted it over. And maybe the only vehicle you can afford to drive, so you're stuck with that sitting there, you can't take it offline because you can't afford to switch it. You can't afford to be off the road for a week or two, or for a few days even. So instead, you buy this secondary vehicle. You do the conversion on it right away and you do the upgrades on it progressively as quickly as you possibly can. See how that works? You can afford to actually make it, but not a project car you tear apart leaving pieces all over the place. It's something that you build it and you build it so you build it as you go, but you build it to operate. Initially, you use it for short range. As you upgrade with every step, you're able to use it at greater ranges. Now you're not out anything. For less than a couple or three of the car payments you make for a new truck off the lot, which you lose money on right away, you've got this nice vehicle with a decent body on it. You can undercoat it. You can rhino coat everything you want to. I've actually thought about something that would really be kind of bizarre, but it would be fun, is to experiment and take the rhino coating that you're using on just the truck bed and cover the whole vehicle with it. Obviously, except the glass. We do want to use the windshield, don't we? And we gotta get the doors open. But other than that, wouldn't that be a rather interesting process in and of itself? Don't have to paint it. Doesn't look too bad. It's gonna have kind of a flat, nibble finish to it. Take a lot of abuse. Don't have to worry about stones or hail, do ya? Hey, that's right! So there's all kinds of cool things that'd be fun to experiment with because what the heck? You only got $500 or $300 into this clunker and you can afford to experiment with it. If all else fails and you want to make it look pretty, here's another fun thing one of our guys did for years. Every month he changed the color of his clunker car that he already rebuilt. It was a hot bugger under the hood, but it didn't look like anything on the outside. You know what he did? He bought like 12 cans of Krylon paint. And every month he would change the color of his car. Of course, also adding another layer of paint to the car in the process. Now what did this do? When the cops or anybody else was looking for, you know, perhaps for Fred's red car, Fred's red car was then black, which then was purple, which then was green, which then was yellow, which then was, you know, big color. You can make it pomegranate, you can make it puce, you can make it chartreuse, you can make it whatever you want. But you know what's cool? What he also did? He took every recognizable decal and sticker and ID marker off the car. Yeah, think about that. Makes it very neutral and plain Jane. No Old Olds 98, no Ford Mustang, none of that stuff. Everything came off the vehicle. All the little holes got filled with putty. And then he painted it. car went down the road you really did have a hard time since of course it was an older car there's so many other vehicles on the road you had a hard time picking out really what it was going down the road that's kind of a positive thing when you want to be neutral you know no spoilers no air no no motor intakes or anything no no little bubbles on the hood everything was absolutely plain Jane and neutral to the point where it was even fit hard to figure out what kind of car it was Then you change the color every so often and it really confuses things. For a total of $13 worth of paint, you gotta figure a dollar a can plus whatever the tax was, he ended up with a brand new car every month. How do you like that? See how that works? Be creative. Do some fun stuff like this just for the sake of messing with everybody else out there because it'll just bother the snot out of them. Boy, you have a whole fleet of cars. Every month you change cars. What is this? Want to really have some fun? Make some little magnet mounts. Go to the junkyard where they're shredding those cars. Ask if you can peel off a bunch of the decals. Make it an Oldsmobile Ford. Make it a 98 Chevy. Whatever you want to do. Things just to be creative. Things to mess with the bad guys on the other side. Things that just, it's a fun hobby if nothing else, okay? Ideas. Well what else are we looking at? Well, beyond the fuel, obviously there's another thing people haven't really been thinking about and that's tight. That's right. Now first of all, Mark's philosophy. Two spare tires on the vehicle at all times. Why? Well at the very least, you know, a bad day you might just actually have two flats close to one, close to the other. That wouldn't be nice. But also people that are vandals, not cases that are out there. You ever notice they usually try to cut one or two or try to cut two tires knowing that you probably only have one. Let's say you have battle damage. Typically it's very likely you're going to have more than one flat tire. Okay. Also traveling cross country, headed one way, evacuating from a site. If this is your mug out vehicle, Hey guys, your pickup truck's got a roof. Wouldn't it be kind of make sense to put a rack up on that roof and then put a spare tire up there? And then by the way, you also have a tire mount that goes on the front of the grill. You put a spare tire there, why? Well it adds kind of a little bit of push to the front end of the vehicle, protects the radiator because it offers a little more armor and allows for you to carry yet another tire. So there's one, two, only me, still have this pair in the box. That's the third one. Hey, that's cool. Rims, go to the junkhead with us, red in the cars. We'll be back in a few minutes. It's time to think outside the box with your host Alex Angeli from 1 p.m. To 3 p.m. Central every Saturday right here on we the people radio network Ladies and gentlemen, we are back. This is the Intel report live. We got Jeff from Michigan Jeff jump in there, please Hey Mark, I heard you mentioning the gas masks earlier. I had bought it with the m10 or work with each other? Well, there's a way to make the M17s work, but I would recommend going with the M10 or any of the, either the Czech or the East German filters first. Specifically designed, they've got the screw-on camps. Actually, to be quite honest, they're easier to do than the pop-off camps. The pop-off camps on the M17 work just fine. They offer a positive lock. But sometimes the real persnickety for getting off and you got to be careful because you try to pry on the front of the mask, you know, it takes work to get them off and you can damage the mask with metal object or whatever you might use. Like, you know, some people are real tempted to use their, you know, their combat knife. That's just if anybody is not familiar with the M17. It's easier to use the M10M filters because they're screw-on and screw-off with regard to the front filter, the pre-filter, is what that is. I'd go that way if you can. Now, did you get filters with all yours? No, I did not. Okay, well hold on just for a little bit. We got to get together anyway because there was a great price and it's still a great price for the mask, but I might have a solution. So you and I need to get together here in the next week. Okay. But we also have a course we do have them from actually and I know where our good friends at Maine Military Supply got them from, but they do have the filters now too. that they're offering separately and there's also a couple other companies that are out there so if one runs out the others will be there. But I would stick with the M10M, otherwise everything else, the M17 gas mask bag, you're here in Michigan, there's a lot of companies that have them on the shelf. Okay, they're just, pick the best ones out, watch for wear and tear because remember when guys carried them they have a tendency to fray or wear out on the edges. pick the best ones, go through and inspect them all and use the M17 gas mask bag with those because that's a positive location under the armpit or for wearing them on the leg which most of the troops are familiar with. They're very reliable and easy to use. They've got a positive dot-lock system. The other thing is now you can use the M17 gas mask hoods with the M10s. If you find a source for those or you see somebody laying around, you'll know where they're laying around on the shelf here, then that's an option to go. as far as the M17 filters go. If you have somebody who wants to give you some, take them. They can be switched over and used quickly on the M10Ms as needed. So that's not a problem. And, uh, I don't feel that they need to be feel airtight field or is that? No, that's not what the, what the field bags that they were using. Uh, there's two systems that they had. Now they did that for, uh, uh, cleanliness, which is a good idea anyway, if you can afford, if you can find them. Now we make super zip lock bags nowadays, which are not a bad idea. I mean, they make any size Ziploc bag you want. That would be the equivalent to the military counterpart bags, which really, you know, in the day were a heavier gauge, the only thing is the sealing systems they had were usually twist tie or, you know, something that didn't work, you know, as easily as the Ziploc does for sealing them up and burping them and keeping them clean that way. Otherwise, the way that we do it is you can, you basically, the ones that are ready up to be used, You keep those in the M17 bag filters in place ready to go and you grab them pull them and use them. For those you want to keep in say long-term strategic reserve you could leave the filters in the plastic bags even which remember they come in a set of... Each chipmunk cheek comes in a separate bag that typically are attached to each other and they have the lockdown caps with the pre filters in the bag. That's how you'll typically find them. You can leave those like that and then put them inside the bag inside the mask Put that in a plastic ziplock bag and put that in the m17 bag still now the only thing I would do is put like a Take that here's the thing go to the store the hardware store come up with a marking system What I would do is put like you can put either a piece of red electrical tape fold it over make a tag So you know that when you grab something, this one, you know, you're looking for the ones that are, say, green tag, which are ready to go. But just to be safe in case somebody grabs something, you have a little, make a little red tag, a little red fold with a piece of tape, electrical tape, and you put that on the ring, the hanger ring that's on the M17 bag. That tells everybody that one needs to be put together. Now, if you change it, obviously you've got to take and rip off that little piece of tape so nobody's confused. These are little tricks we learned a long time ago. Green is for ready to go. Red means needs to assemble. Every one of the M17 bags has a large old metal hanger ring on the top of the bag that's on a canvas strap. What you do is you take your rubber tape, the Another quick thing on the filters, as much as anything is keep the gas, well actually the gas masks in general, try to keep them in the dark. European policy with the East Germans and the Russians with regard to IR protection is different. Again, like we said, they spend, they don't spend as much on their equipment in some areas because they've spent money on others and they've bought a lot more. Their logic is they're going to use it. When the decon bag shows up, they're going to pat themselves down with bleach powder where they have to, and then they shed it. They shuck it into the bag and they put all new on. That was policy. We aren't going to throw ours away because we can't really probably afford to do that, but it would depend on contamination levels. If I suspected something was a little sticky and tacky and isn't coming off, I'm not going to try to fix that. That's why you bought that two dozen mask. I can go, yeah, there's a second one. Okay, this one goes off, goes into the junk bag real quick. The other one goes out, and look at that, I'm done. Okay. That the M10s come with a drinking... Actually, if you look at the same, they pretty well mimic the US system as far as that goes. So if you look at any manuals, NBC manuals on the M17 in English, the same basic policy applies in that there's typically a female cap that goes on the canteen now with the m17s that were brand new everything came with them in the bag this is also true of the m15 gas masks made by the israelis or actually made by the germans for the israelis uh... their combat masks uh... came when they came brand new they came with the actual canteen cap with all the fixtures and everything in place which is a uh... it's a female fixture that everything plugs into We need to track down a source and you got to keep watching because you know there's many companies that have got these things in pieces on the shelf. For the large mouth canteen, typically what we see for the European mass, for the European mass for support. So you're going to have to get one NATO slash wide mouth European canteen. Those are made by the Israelis, they're made by the Belgians, the British made them, the French made them, and the Germans made them. So they're out there and laying around. They might have to be aluminum. Mr. Plastic, if they're newer. and what you do is you screw down a lid. What happens is the umbilicus comes, you plug that into the top of the canteen, lift the canteen up upside down, gravity fills the hose, and you can drink through the reciprocator inside. So very simple process. If you look at any military mask manual on the M17, all the basic instructions there are how you deal with the M17 for the drinking system. Now the problem, I'll tell you what, keep an eye on the program. If I ask you to call in, I'm gonna have the engineer have you get hold of us and We're going to let you know about something coming up here. Okay, thank you very much. You're welcome. Thank you, Jeff. Good questions too, by the way, because again, there are a number of systems. I will tell everybody this. Number one, we have a whole bunch of new NBC videos up on Liberty Tree Radio. So here's what I want you to do. If you can, go to YouTube. Liberty Tree Radio. Liberty Tree Radio. And then you go to our video link which will take you right to our YouTube video page. You go there and you're going to see all of our new videos. There are three shorter pieces. Like I said, these are the bridging training videos that help you out a little bit with understanding the equipment. A lot of you have seen some of this before, but you haven't seen all of what's in there. And there are other ones that are ready to roll plus. We're working on releasing an NBC video. Notice we haven't said it's ready yet because it's not. It may be this week by Wednesday. We'll see what happens. But if we have that in place, it's going to answer all your questions about every piece of chemical warfare equipment you could run into. Defense equipment. Okay? Anyway, we are the top of second hour. We didn't have enough time to get everything out. I wanted to. Well that's why we have two more hours tomorrow too by the way here and we the People Radio Network and on Liberty Tree Radio. So ladies and gentlemen thank you for listening. Hopefully you gave some ideas. We want you to be able to continue to travel down the road but we need to put the OL companies out of the way. To do that we need to have good competition in many areas with creative ideas. You help us get that job done. God bless the Republic. Death to the New World Order. We shall prevail ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We are on the march. God bless and good evening to the get together with our liberty.
