Got the response from the Hamas's website that it was a natural response of what they've been doing. And then they had the Israeli government spokesmen and everything like that, and the sort it is. And it just kind of reminded me, it took me back several years, there was this one into the Al-Ibrahim Mosque in Palestine in 1994, applied M6 machine gun 29 Palestinians killed the men in the ensuing riots there killed another station of the JDL from people that have been over there in the Middle East that they've erected a monument to roads after him chins in the area so praising what he did and a lot of kids all around with the t-shirts on saying that they want to be like mr. Goldstein when they grow up I just find it odd that somebody can go into a university and kill eight people by Israel who in a cowardice absolutely no connection and they praised him as a hero. Let's tie this in guys. Don, Mike, did any of you hear about Chuck Schumer jumping up on the Senate floor and stating how we have to have gun control in Israel and ban rifle shotguns and handguns to make sure that those Israeli people don't have them so that they're protected from whatever? No, you know it was odd though because after mr. The management from the NRA combined with Chuck Schumer, Feinstein, Pelosi, and Ted Kennedy all jumping up and talking about how because of that shooting in Israel, we need more gun control in the United States. Yeah, you're going to see coffee cats shooting, yes. Yeah, well, if not, we could, in theory, kind of, well. we're waiting for the next Prozac shooter anyway but that's just just my two cents worth and then I noticed that there's no great leaping up of all of these kosher mafia types to do the get the guns because you see the only guns they wanted the glories guns they only want to kill us off they want them armed us not. We aren't going to see them jumping up anytime soon on any of this but interesting that the UN would pull the the the comment that they did you never know with Twisted Minds what might have happened here actually now one of the points was made originally is that This person who did this was unaffiliated with anybody, correct? And again, while we've stressed more is we want to practice examining the dog and the body and the head and the neck signs of traumatic injuries. And we also want to just doing this to get the dog used to it, mole, leg or a head or an abdomen feels when there's actually been an injury, then we can note what, now what you want to start doing is examining the head and the neck is running your hands over the head, the cheek, the jaws and feel for any swell or any heat. Now heat that can indicate that the blood vessels broken. underneath and the foot will start pooling in there. Another thing you want to do is turn the dog's head to one side and to the other and up and down to see if the movement causes any pain. So in a true emergency you might want to make sure that you muzzle any strange dogs. Run your hands down the dog's neck feeling under the hair for any swelling or stinkingness that might indicate any type of pump. Now examining the chest and the abdomen and the limb Body bruising is common in any traffic accidents and bites from dolphins don't bleed deep in the fur, the body or the limbs. Hard grease or throw it back and it's not acting normally and you see that there's bar under it possibilities that they might have been run over. Now, while your dog is relaxed and injury free like we've stressed so many times before, you know, you start getting the dog used to having a detailed physical exam of its body and its limbs so that you know what it feels like. And then also you get the dog used to, you know, you run in his hands. What you want to do for examining the chest and the abdomen and the limbs is you run your hands firmly over the dog's back, the chest and the groin and feeling for the want to feel each joint specific heat or swelling. Other than nails for any damage, the tail, the anus, and the genitalia. Now, increased sensitivity and altered odors or variations in the color, consider the body waste, clues to potential internal injuries or diseases. Now, you want to examine your dog's tail, anus, and genitalia while it's free from injury or illness or recognize the normal odors and the anatomy of these regions. Now you want to run your hand firmly along the length of the tail and there should be no obvious bumps or areas of excess heat. Some un-neutered male dogs will develop a scent marking gland on top of the tail about the tail. Sometimes this can become swollen and the hair will drop out and cause any problems. Just to see if the dog responds, response could well mean that either there's been a tail or injury. The next thing you want to do is lift the dog's tail. The whole region should be clean. an intensive smell could mean that the dog is empty, this anal gland and that doesn't mean that it's poop the dog has been for the penis or the vagina for inflammation or any discharge. Now if a normal dog is coat starts smelling of urine, this can be another good sign of either illness or injury and don't be alarmed if your male dog develops bulb-like swelling on his penis. Now, this gland that it swells when he mates with the female, the swollen lump is what temporarily ties the dogs together during mating. Now, if your dog gets excited and the penis comes sticking out between its cheeks, you might want to lubricate it with some jelly. And in most instances, now to switch subjects here about the skin and the coat conditions. Now skin problems seldom need any immediate veterinary attention and usually they can be controlled and eliminated without any veterinary treatment. Now some other ones might indicate that the dog has had some serious internal problems. On your skin examination, you want to ask if there's been any sudden biting or any other self-magets under your vet patching that you want to do is examine the skin and or if you're out in the field, you can use a, put that over the area, pressure and that'll help you there in that area, in the field you might. Also then if there's any forming swelling or any lumps you might want to consider. Again, you want to give some persimming on the extent of the injury, you might want to phone. There's any such might be of concern, might want to see the vet soon. Once mentioned any car grease on the coat, do a head to tail examination for any, do a head to tail. examination of the parade. We'll go to a gas fortunate habit of quite a lot of times this curiosity will lead to many gastrointestinal emergencies. And some of them will definitely need some urgent attention and it's always better to err on the side of caution when deciding what to do and make an unproductive attempts to see a vet. You're going to get a chance to see pretty much the different snow camouflages that we use and have developed over the years and we know that work. But very important again blending in with the environment, looking more like everything else that's there, in other words being natural. The other thing is motion, keep everything low. One of the things that I pointed out is a couple of the guys, of course, you pay attention. The arms are not flailing or moving around. Arms to your side or arms still whenever possible. That way when you freeze there's less to actually control. And this is a technique that's hard for some people to learn. So pay attention, look at that video, watch a couple of people there, you'll see what they're doing and how it works and how well it works. But this is the latest, it's Militia Winterwolf. Okay, we're gonna continue on here with about our any gastrointestinal changes. The next question asked, is there any projectile or persistent vomiting? When I say pre-vomiting, it will come out, it might even go completely trying to get rid of it. You need to see a thing, you need to ask that question. Is the dog abdomen, again you want to see a vet. And is there any explosive your vet in the next 12 years? Has the dog vomited once and has diarrhea? You might be able to put it on a turdabtham. You're going to ask, is the diarrhea continuing after the likely want to see your vet. Now another question is, is the dog eating more but losing weight? And you want to see the vet about that. Now if there's any decreased appetite in any other clinical signs, you might want to consider seeing your vet in 20. And is the, or the next question is, is the dog bright and alert but not eating? And again, you might want to phone for advice and see a vet in the next 20. Now, the next subject is going to be the toilet habit. Now, the changes in your dog's sanitary habits are often indicators that the medical attention is needed. If you have ever taken the dog to the vet, nail, questions, is it eating and drinking and pooling and peeing, all the same. You know, these might not be pleasant, so make sure everything is coming out all right. Something that you definitely need to be aware of. Now, some changes require immediate attention while others can wait for 24 hours. hours or longer, a lot of times they'll clear themselves up. Now if the dog's straining but not unable to urinate, you definitely want to see the vet right away. Now if it's not urinating at all over 24 hours, that's the next day. Let in the urine, you're going to want to see the vet. The dog in continent, and is lethargic, they'll most likely tell you to bring the dog in within the next 12 hours. But is it incontinent? And that means that it just kind of walks around and it's just urinating. They have no bladder control. Is it incontinent, but is it otherwise normal? You might want to consider only, is there an increased frequency in the urination? You want to see the vets with urine. You're going to want to do a head to tail examination and looking for any injuries. Is the dog straining but unable to defecate? You're going to want to see the vet the same day. And has the dog not passed any stools in 48 hours? You want to call or any blood in the stool. You want to see the easily going to look for injuries, some fabric hanging from the dog's anus. Now you want to pull gently likely going to need to see them. And you give that a look, you know, and then you wash your hands. One long thing. No, I appreciate that. Yeah, you definitely, you know, especially with puppies, they don't have a tendency to chew on blankets or pantyhose or anything handy, tennis balls, they'll chew the fabric off and else, and you know, there's no reason to be alarmed, but again, you need to be aware of that, because especially if they chew a big enough, like if they have a stuffed bowl or something, and they pull out and get out of it, they give them a spud. The next subject is changes in drinking and urinating. It needs attention. If you ask, is there increase or reduced appetite, you might want to consider giving your vet a cough. If you're going to give them a cough, then bring them in right away. for everything like everybody else. You might want a little bit more close, all within 20 hours or so. Just be because the change in the temperature or something within the urination and stuff could be other places in that, you know, kidney diabetes or something. Increase thirst but little urinating. You might want to phone that the next 20. Increase thirst, increase thirst. Sometimes when you, more like a human, a lot of your electrolytes and it's only natural that you're going to be thirst. So you might want to monitor that. over and over again. When we're doing this it's much better to examine the dog when it's healthy having you take its step and it's taking its pulse and its respiration and then when an emergency does arise both you and the dog know what to expect. Now you had covered over some stuff. What was it? Raisins, chocolate, and what was the... Onions? Onions, yes. You might want to avoid, especially the chocolate. One ounce of chocolate will kill a dog dead or a doornail. So you want to do that. And also now if you're out on patrol or if you're having to evacuate an area on foot, and the dog may not be on a leash, but it'll be part of the lead party or taking points or something. And you may not be eating in a regular, the dog might have a tendency to eat something that's roadkill, dead brother, that it's fine. It might be okay to supplement its diet, but you wanna monitor what it's fine. If it finds a dead bird, that might be all right. You definitely don't want it crunching up the bones, because that can cause some serious problems. But as you mentioned before, maybe then that, then we'll feed it some pantyhose afterwards, push the bones out, right? We want to avoid that because we don't want to do any more doggy maintenance than possible. But when we do have new doggy maintenance, we need to know what to do. So that's why we're bringing these points forward because, well, it's an old problem for whatever reason. Dogs, even though they are scavengers, have a harder time digesting bird bones. main legs. They can handle joints, like knuckles, stuff like that, or cartilage, or even spine pieces, stuff like that. But the leg bones, the wing bones, what happens when they chew them up is they become fibrous like chunks of splintered wood, and the digestive tract with the dogs don't handle them the way cats can. What happens is you end up over a long period of time, or even with one gorging if you're not careful. The dog has a log jam at the other end that's really not conducive to good health. They can cause some damage. And this has happened in the past. We've dealt with dogs before that have been at least people used to give them all the scraps. Lo and behold, the chicken bones are right in there with everything. And oh, they were gorgeous and having a great time. But then they required some maintenance later that wasn't too friendly. Yeah, we want to be ready. Again, we can avoid that. But we have to remember when we're moving. And again, we're looking at the probability of these dogs moving with us, Mike. Right? Yeah, they'll be part of the team. They'll be patrolling right along with it. And what we're going to do here, I just want to talk about any weight changes. Now, if there's been any unexpected changes in the weight, it can be a pretty good sign that there are some medical problems going on. And you might want to be seeing that there's been any weight loss, stargic, a change in appetite, lameness, vomiting, or diarrhea, vomiting, or definitely going to want to speak some further medical advice on that. Again, we stress over and over again, you need to monitor this. This may not be pleasant, and you know everything, but you need to be aware of what's going on. What goes in needs to come out. And then one of the other things that touched on at the beginning of the program, yes, a dog is very much of a mammal, and a lot of the things the human will need is also can be crossed. definitely stressed having a separate, usually when it comes to thermometers and things like that because we know that we're only taking thermometers to take a whole temperature on a human.
