Mark Koernke and guest Michael Nesser covered veterinary first aid and emergency care for dogs and cats on this Medical Tuesday episode. They discussed field treatment procedures for injured animals including abrasions, puncture wounds, and shock assessment; proper lifting and transport techniques for injured dogs of various sizes; and preparedness strategies such as transport carriers with attached medical supply pouches and tactical equipment. The episode included caller Ernie from Michigan reporting on Marine training exercises in Grand Rapids and Toledo, the Venezuelan oil nationalization affecting fuel prices, and Public Law 110-180 (the veterans disarmament bill). Koernke emphasized the importance of keeping animals as part of one's preparedness team and maintaining supplies in smaller containers to minimize total loss if equipment is compromised.
I had a dream the other night that, when I didn't understand, a figure walking through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame You've taken Satan's number You've traded in your name You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm And keep our country deep in debt put men of God in jail harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail Your public servants don't we got Mike? And your daughters visit doctors. Have we got Mike? Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic in each God-given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the midst for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free? on and behind the lines in occupied territories west, southwest, east, and north. Ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on People Radio Network, wtprn.com. That's we, the People Radio Network. We're also on Liberty Tree Radio dot 4mg dot com. We're on the live 365, then go to Liberty Tree Radio. Also, we're on AM&FM major stations, AM&FM micro stations, CB base stations, and alternate technologies east and west of the Mississippi. You're also going to find us in other alts that are up and online. They're being developed by our friends across the United States. And the goal behind this is to ensure that one way or another, no matter what, the message here on We The People Radio Network and our Patriot effort in general continues to move forward. I want to say thank you to all the guys and girls doing all the great work there. Also, hi to our friends in Eastern Ohio on the big stations and on in Pennsylvania and let's see, North Carolina, South Carolina. Also, I believe Delaware. We have a small station there now picking us up for this hour. I want to say thank you guys and girls. We do cover a lot of subjects sometimes. It's like, why are we putting this up on the air? Well, because people have asked. We'd agree. And we also consider it important. We plan on winning the shooting war. But to do that, we also want to make sure we bring as many people through the other side as we can. And medical support, typically, is something that can be used in any environmental condition, any situation that develops. Natural disaster, man-made catastrophe, you name it. uh... the important thing is not to be sitting here sites on operating the way they do in jericho the television service okay uh... interesting series but it's the kind of to a degree the degree the program is the what not to do almost like watching a reality survival program okay that when you see reality survival programs the first rule is it's what not to do our mission keep all the people are thinking alive of the know how to get to get the job done right not kicking them out first which is the traverse which is exactly what they do in all these Goofy off the wall reality programs. Well, there's a reason for that. That way the people know what they're doing. We can mimic this in real life if they had their way, kind of like what Jericho did, or does. And we're going to avoid that. Instead, we're going to teach you how to work as a team. Our goal is to keep all of our people alive. Our goal is to get through the other side in reasonable comfort, or at least breathing. Comfort comes later as you have more time, and there's more free time available. Otherwise, there's a word attached to this, W-O-R-K, work. So that's what we have to look at when we're training with regard to everything from arms to transportation, reloading, you name it, we cover it and we're going to be dealing with it and doing it. So, Mike, what are we going to be covering today? Some more dog first aid. We're going to talk about lifting, carrying, transporting, head to tail examination, how to, when to make a decision of when you need more medical care, does it need to be within the next 20 years. has asked the question and if it is yes then we'll let's know then we'll ask more questions and delve into it. Now one of the things that I think if we can for anybody who's interested references if they're looking for books and any points of contact with regard to in fact if they have questions of you off the air how can they deal with both? Okay my name is Michael Nesser I live in Arizona my telephone number is 8018-480-8. 818-3126. If you would like to write me, my name is Michael Nesser, N, November S-E-R, fan field, S-L-D. My ISBN of the book is 01402. We've been covering a lot of medical things all the way from field sanitation to medical evaluation for humans and now we're in two four-legged our team. We did have a Tuesday and Wednesday there right before on wtprn.com, go to the archives, download them, make copies of the library. Friends might even consider having a library of duplicate information. We reproduce and pass any other information. Other people can understand some of the newer school handbook medicine. Also recommend getting a paper. Medical dictionary recommend getting a Merck manual. They come in two versions. One is a family medical one. It's in the professional One level of expertise rises in medical care, transportation of the sick and injured. Another manual, Two Hell Road, you might meet up with somebody who used to have one and because of the separation, they have some operation that they've lost track of theirs and then it would be handy for them to have that. Applied for field sanitation, applied food for sanitation. John Wiley and Sons and Quarry N is the manual, 12 FM. or excuse me, field aging and sanitation. Have that book, which you can access Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine, or G. Another one would be the American Medical Association's Handbook of First Aid. The ISBN is 0-59-ISB. It's so handy. And you know, I used to, I would listen to the intel report, and if something would come up, then I'd jot it down. Then after the project, I tried to reconstruct. I was really hard pressed. to be able to hold three minutes of what was actually had like a legal pad, taking notes from the beginning of the program when the drums taper out and write into good evening with the intelligence report, I would start writing everything down as much as I could. I was truly amazed of the whole nation that I had heard. I would urge every down, not just have the radio on or your computer on in the background, you're going about your work, the information, not just one I've been on. but on Weapons Wednesdays and Communications Tuesdays, then you will be truly amazed of the information that you have. You have a better retention of not only that you're hearing it from one half of your brain, but when you're writing it out with the other half of your brain, you'll have a better retention skill information. Just rely on the computer and have a library of this, have it do both, and what's stored in your mind, and then you'll be able You know, interestingly enough, that's one of the true points. The advantage we have with the archives, you can pull if you've missed it, you can always record it again in another way, I mean record it in a form that will be useful for you. But taking notes that does reinforce, just like when you go to school, when you're taking notes, you have a tendency to reinforce in yet another way that the mind subconsciously inventories. So that is a good idea. And again also we give a lot of information anyway where we're giving out a lot of numbers and a lot of contact points and it'd be good for you to have them on your list of things to do. So that is an excellent option. Also the manuals and books that are mentioned. It's important that we have these on the shelf in their basic form whatever way that you can get them off initially. In other words, if you scan them from somebody else's inventory and put them on disk. Make hard copies. Hard copies do not require batteries. They don't require any special technology. You interface between your eyes, the ocular sensors there, and the process of the brain and your most sophisticated computer on the planet, that organic module between years is what we want you to use. We're going to break here in a second. You've got Mike and Mark here with the Intel Report. It's Tuesday. We'll be back in three minutes. People who use Cartavite know about the pollutants in our body and want them out. For over five years, Cartavite has proven itself time-tested. Here's Dr. Mattson, a naturopathic doctor's thoughts on Cartavite. In our mind, there isn't such a great big mystery to disease anymore. This basic tenet of yeast in the gut and metal in the liver covers at least seven to eight percent of the diseases that we see. When we do our program, you know, in herbal form it's like Cartavite and you see someone who could barely walk up a hill now going for regular jobs. few months later we know we're doing something right. It's a well thought out formula. I mean the idea of it working on east end metals both at the same time and liver function is dead on. You'll find I think that it'll work more than just on heart problems and circulation problems. It'll work on other problems as well. At our new seminar, we'll demonstrate our techniques to enforce due process. Every step the jack-looted police and corrupt courts take is horrendously illegal. Whatever the details of your case, when public officials violate law, they disqualify themselves and the prosecution. We will show you what crimes they routinely commit as a matter of policy. We will provide step-by-step remedies to get your case thrown out. You'll receive a CD containing examples of every document you need and a practice guide. Just fill in the blanks and file. If you've paid thousands to an attorney, we'll show you what he should have done and how to make him wish he had. Our next seminar is on March the 1st, 2008 at Brave New Books in Austin, Texas. We start at 10 a.m. and they'll go until they throw us out. Preserve your place at ruleoflawradio.com. On the map, I'm not way up north in the upper part of the lower peninsula, nor am I in the UP. We're way down on the bottom. But in this neck of the woods right here in Washtenaw and Jackson County, we have some of the, well, Washtenaw, Livingston, and Jackson County, we have some of the biggest deer taken in the state of Michigan. Got the right combination of food, water, and environment. It's just, you know, ideal for them. Pretty big racks. My brother has, I think, number 11, or at least he did, number 11 in the state from, you know, many years ago. and of course, somebody might have caught up with him since then, but number 11, number 11, for irregular racks. Anyway, they rate the deers and such, but there's a little thing, a t-shirt that the boys made up here several years ago, and Nancy had done, it's of course, a PETA t-shirt. Everybody goes, PETA, why don't you be supporting those people? Well, our organization's a little different. Our PETA is people for the eating of tasty animals. Now the PETA looks just like their PETA until you get close and underneath it has a little explanation of what each word stands for. And so that really of course obviously doesn't go over well with the PETA people, but everybody else enjoys the t-shirt, enjoy the deer too. We have, of course, this is our medical Tuesday programming web web, it's tomorrow. I'll tell you what, Mike, real quick here, we've got a situation, let's say we've got our K9 friends in the field and they're working with us. Now, we don't necessarily have to even be shot at, just animals moving through the woods can get hurt. So let's say that we have a bad abrasion on the back leg, say the right leg or the left leg, or where the ankle is. Now we're going to have to treat the animal in the field. What would our procedure be? Because of course we've got to keep moving too now. So we're going to do our basic first aid on a walking casualty. What would be the scenario? Okay, now if it's just abrasions like scratch, I'd make sure that the leg is not fractured and use some antiseptic on there. That formula was like one teaspoon of salt. There's no other like internal injuries. Sometimes a superficial sure that there wasn't any swelling if it's healthy having some bleeding underneath there. And then just put a small dressing on that if necessary, if needed and make sure that there's no debris. The burns are there stick to get it from a barbed wire fence. Is there a piece of metal in there you want to evaluate? And depending on the right of move, remove stuff you might want to pack them. And then having that actually ensure that it's not working its way around in there. Because if it's a puncture and there's an object that's been out of there, the ability to, if you do pull the weight on the seam, the dog, you want to make sure that you're going to check for something which we've covered. Normal. what its normal breathing are, what its normal behaviors are. And usually shocked, the early signs of shock will be a heart rate above 130 per minute. Check the gums to see if they push on the gums. Does the blood come back immediately? Would be if it's an insulin deep shock, crashing down and you'd have a slower heart rate, slowing the breathing in the capitol, and then discussing with a friend of mine that we're counting the beats, we're counting the regularity of the beats. Does it speed up? slow down while it's just red culture on the floor. Thing is with the heart, excuse me, with the breathing, does it speed up? Does it slow down? It's regular and rhythmic, full minute and measure it for 20 seconds. Apologize for that. I apologize for that. I apologize for that. I apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apologize for that. Apolog Now another thing that's really kind of fun is, as we know, dealing with animals in the woods. They may run into other critters in the woods. And again, that's typically the dog or the cat might be kind of just taking care of their territory to a degree, protecting their area of control. One of the worst case scenarios is running into porcupines. Up here in Michigan, I'm going to tell you something, Mike. And for our listeners, I have been out in the woods for as long as my parents, my uncle, or my brothers could take me out in the woods. And you know, you would run into a porcupine down here on occasion, down here in the bottom end of the state. And you can usually find them, this is not a pleasant thought, but... porcupines when they really are a pine tree they just are one spot to start chewing on a branch in the way you can find them is everything that goes into a porcupine comes out of a porcupine okay they will just keep you away and munch away and eating away and they'll find a little pile of debris down the bottom you know that brown icky stuff we cut the pile up well in more recent years not travel of uh... secondary roads all the dirt roads in the upper part of the state We started seeing porcupines in greater and greater numbers, but I have seen porcupines that with their quills, of course in normal walking, they don't get excited, they'll just be moving along, actually are as tall as the height of a small car. Not small in any way, shape, or form. Pretty good, you know, pretty good size. Now they're not a fast animal, and from the survival perspective, always remember this, even though you gotta remember how to approach a porcupine, Porcupine has got a lot of fat. They're very, they're a dark meat, but they're tasty. They're a tasty critter and they're a good survival food because they aren't really that effective in defense. Now, I guess a fast predator, especially like humans, we can neutralize them. Most other critters stay away from them for obvious reasons because of the quills. Well, the dogs don't necessarily know that porcupines are your first thing that you should be staying clear of. So we're going to look at that as a possible threat situation, aren't we? Absolutely, we do have porcupines here. I've ran up in them to the White Mountains. That's pretty much due east of the Phoenix area, almost to the New Mexico border. We got some pretty tall mountains over there up in the middle. And it's, uh, went up there, had never encountered a porcupine, but he got to have a mountain to hear. They're not going to die necessarily so much as they are. They aren't enjoying the pain because, remember, with a dog, I mean, no one's a primary tool, okay? It's usually there first and in front and obviously, and for that reason, it's a very sensitive issue too for the dog, pardon the pun there. And needs to be dealt with accordingly, so we'll kind of discuss that when we come back. And again, because you may have to deal with it yourself. This is the Intel report, you got Mike and you got Mark, and we the People Radio Network, back in three minutes. Dr. Paul is exactly the kind of president we need. Although the president is the commander of the chief, he doesn't declare war. Under the Constitution, only the House of Representatives can declare war. We've never declared a war since World War II. And we've never won a war since World War II. I was drafted. I was sent to South Vietnam. The Americans were involved right in the middle of the Civil War. Very similar to where we are in Iraq. There was no peace until we were defeated and there was no honor. We preemptively, aggressively invaded a sovereign foreign state. Our military is supposed to be defensive. But it's not all for defense. Some of it's for offense. Some of it's for things that end up making us hated throughout the world. We have these marks on things never intended by the founding fathers. The Alex Jones broadcast live from 11 a.m. To 2 p.m. Central Monday through Friday right here on we the people Radio Network and ladies and gentlemen, we are back This is the Intel report you've got Mike and Mark and it's medical support Tuesday Of course also we doing this on Thursday as a reminder So if you want to tune in and you need to take notes or you should be ready to take notes when you listen to this particular hour we're dealing with both canine and with feline support. Now, of course, notice we haven't mentioned hamsters or guinea pigs or things like that. I think it's pretty straightforward. Chances are the cats will get him before we can do anything about it. No, I'm sorry. But yeah, but again, a lot of people have cats for pets. They have dogs for pets. And the one thing I will say about the dogs, no matter how big or small, they actually are working animals. You've given the opportunity. Dogs, of course, they are part of your pack. perhaps they perceive you as part of their pack. They're usually, one way or another, monitor the terrain and the environment. It's always a good idea to pay attention to the dogs, isn't it? and what it's meant and so formal, then you need to know whether the dogs have been injured and then something that you need to, occurs out there. And you know what you mentioned before, the dog leaves with its smell, it smells everything, see it right then while it's doing that, but for having a discharge from its eyes, from its nose, from its ears, and these are the things that we need to be aware of because the dog can't tell you. Well, you know, yesterday morning I found something and I ate it and I really wish I hadn't, but care of the dog and how to care for them so they can get them. That's one of the things too is that with regard to maintenance on all of our animals, one of the things that people have asked us is, well, how can we be ready for a situation of the type we're talking about? Ideally, you want to keep tabs on the animals, obviously. For smaller animals, one of the things I'd recommend are picking up these transport cages that are available. uh... it amazingly enough if you go to resale shops or the uh... local places like the uh... salvation army the red shield uh... there's a number of different places where people drop stuff off that they want to get rid of well in many cases there's a glut of these things laying around so here's a chance for you pick up on the cheap uh... transport carrier a little trick one of the things i would recommend drill a few holes in the side take a couple of flexible nylon pouches something that you know it will allow you to you know zip up something into, like little cargo bags, and bolt them right to the side of the carrier. Now, here's a little trick. Make sure that the bolts aren't inside. Put the flat round head on the inside so you don't have to worry about the critter bouncing into something that's going to hurt them. But what you can do is use thumb screws so you can screw them right into place, but you can also demount these things or, you know, debark them from the equipment when the time comes. But what do you carry in the outer pouches? Well, you can have a little medical pack set up. the little different medicines we're talking about, for instance, for treatment of the animal, if need be, to be carrying their food, living in whatever configuration. Ideally, I would have it dolled up into smaller containers. Remember, just like with my backpack, I want a series of smaller containers, not just one big item because if something is damaged or if it's hit, hopefully only one container will be compromised. In other words, something gets shot, something gets crushed, something gets stuck with a sharp object. You've got a series of smaller containers, which by chances are will negate the probability of all of the equipment or material or food being compromised that's in the pouch, that's in the backpack, that's in whatever carrying bag you have. What you can do is then have these things on standby ready to go so that you can load up the kitty cats inside the transport container and move them on down the road safely. One cool thing is they almost all have little carrying handles and although using a piece of luggage in a combat or so we can say an evacuation situation is not your first best choice, at least you have a simple transport solution where you know that the animal is going to be safe, it's going to be secure, you don't have to worry about guessing where it is. If your animals are cooperative and get along, then you can actually put more than one of them in a single transport container. examples. We have a number of cats. They don't have any problem working together, sleeping together, laying around. You know, they're pretty cool with each other. So putting them all in one container is your first best choice. That makes it a lot easier to know where they are. Now does that mean you're going to have other maintenance problems? Yes, you are. A little cat is going to have to come out of there at some point. So one of the things you want to put inside your little pouch that's bolted to the outside of your transport box is a couple of little cat leashes, a couple of little cat collars. They may not be wearing cat colors most of the time, but one of the reasons for it here is so you can maintain control of the animal. You've got to be able to, again, you don't want them running off, disappearing. This creates all kinds of mayhem or hardship for both the owner and for the cat. So this alleviates that problem. But get used to the idea of already having them outfitted, having them already equipped. No, we don't want bright shiny pink things with sequins on them. Pick nice dark tactical colors or subdued tactical colors. that are just basically just it's designed to be a kitty leash now I guess you can go pink or whatever you want to but You know the point is you might want to bright color if you want to pick them out of a crowd real quick if there's something going on you're trying to spot them but I prefer the subdued colors. We want to again keep them, you know, keep them passive Keep it so that they blend in with the terrain You can even change the color of the box if you want to on the outside They've got these and I'm gonna remind everybody again if people say well some of these boxes don't look very good You know, they're plastic, but they're tired Well, here's a little trick. Right now, Krylon, and I'm not pushing Krylon, it can be whatever company you have out there, Krylon is making a bunch of spray-on reconditioning paints for lawn furniture. The beautiful part about it is that they're designed to bond specifically with those types of plastics. The cool thing is, your little transport boxes, like we're talking about, they're in the same kind of molded plastic, so they will be these Krylon paints. They're in all the field colors. I don't know if you've noticed this, Mike, but you know what else? All the yard furniture has been done in these pleasing, you know, matte colors in the greens, the grays, and the, you know, the browns. They make great tactical colors. So if you want to spray paint the things, it'll blend in with the terrain a little bit. And in the process, refurbish the piece of equipment you're picking up used. There's your solution and it won't hurt the kitty cat at all. It's going to look just fine and it's going to keep everything, you know, keep everything pretty well, a little, just cleaner in general, better maintained and be tactical. And the little ideas and the Krylon paint out there, I just got a bunch of it at the dollar store in a medium green, like a dark medium green and an alone color. And I'm going to be experimenting that with some other projects we have to, because some of the vehicles and some of the other pieces of equipment require tactical paint, but they're plastic components now. So this type of paint might come in handy for other applications. Now, again, we were going to cover another other, you are going to cover a couple of other subjects today with regard to critter maintenance. What else did you have to take care of today? Okay, we're going to talk about lifting, carrying, and transporting an injured. And what we want to do is take great care when lifting and transporting an injured dog. Rough handling can cause damage and it's real pain. Make sure now you are a medical and that needs attention to the wound. Go ahead and give that information out one more time, please. Okay, we're going to be showing the video by Mike Rupert, 30 p.m. at the level. Now real quick, Ernie, just in case, I don't know if you've been able to listen in today, the public law number four the veterans disarmament bill this is already public law it's already signed in it's PL 110-180 that way for anybody who's asking now this is remember this is not legislation that was pending this is already finished it was already signed we're signed like a week or two ago right so it's already in place for everybody out there listening make sure PL 110-180 all of this is tied in because again what what do we what is coming up This is the question everybody should be asking. What is coming up whereby the ring knockers in the New World Order feel that they cannot trust the American veterans to be armed? What scurrilous activity do they have planned and in the wings? Right, the Marines, now a little update on that. We're trying to get some of our people on the ground. We've got some people in the administration that have been passing on information. We should have an update on that in the next year or two. But what happened is the Marines from Grand Rapids planned on coming in to train in basically what were urban setting combat operations. They've actually done exchange of fire, live fire, but obviously blank fire, utilizing specific parts of the city. uh... the city council said they were tired of the problems that they've had with this and uh... because of uh... people becoming upset and the flurry of calls to city hall uh... they recommended that they not proceed uh... now they blocked him on friday because they were there but they were allowed to deploy but apparently there was some other uh... scuttle butter noise that uh... they came back in and we're going to redeploy anyway under another in another area bintillito so can you not want to allow but there's a little bit of confusion on this. So far as we know that they hadn't it from on the original date that it was planned. However, this is part of the desensitization process. Toledo was one of the ring knocker cities. It's like Kalamazoo, Michigan. There's a lot of underground activity that's going on there with the New World Order clip. They don't want to draw attention to it per se, but that's why certain towns cooperate quite extensively. one of them, the troops are from Grand Rapids, the marine units from across the state of Michigan and going down into Ohio for activities. We had problems in Michigan the last time they did this because the units that participated actually drew weapons on, for instance, garbage truck drivers and took their weapons at gun par, took their vehicles at gunpoint as part of the exercise. Now they're lucky the garbage truck drivers didn't think they were being threatened by the usual thugs on the street because they had shot back. Garbage truck drivers usually being armed in Detroit by the way, covertly if nothing else. But the point is that people did not want them back in the city after that because of some of the stuff that was pulled that could have gotten somebody badly injured, badly hurt, plain killed, be possible. Go right ahead. If they need to get down there and we get them. saturation with all the different camera technology is off the shelf is cheaper to throw away nowadays i mean without a problem you walk in with it use it even stashing if you can't carry it out hide it someplace where it's safe come back and get it later and then we can get the information distributed and get it on youtube i'll let you go but ever followed the story on the shabbat thank you very much for me okay but please keep us informed thank you And we're off to the top of the arbor too, what we're going to do, and again on the fuel issue, pay attention to what's going on. This is not a surprise, it's just one of the many elements that are going to develop a more interesting multi-dimensional battlefield here. Your wallet is part of what they're going to be attacking. Their logic is by destroying expendable income, you're not going to be prepared in other areas. Cut back wherever we can, we're going to have to put in reserve whatever we can and be ready for the worst. to include taking care of our pets. So Mike, go ahead and take over from here again, please. Okay. We're talking about lifting, carrying and transporting the dogs. Now, to recap here, if it's a small dog and if it's injured, and it's willing to walk, go ahead and let it go to the car and, you know, let it, you know, load itself. Now, if we want to lifting a small dog by holding its columbus neck, not like pulling it up by the collar, per se, like a noose around its collar, and with one hand while using your other hand to support its back and body and then cradle it against your body with your hand under the chest while you lift it up. Now one hand is going to control and port the neck and it's going to help prevent the dog from turning and biting and the other hand is going to support abdomen and against your body is going to help. If it's a medium sized dog you want to place one arm around the dog's neck underneath the dog's body towards your own back and this is going to help protect around the neck, again control the head movement, the arm under the abdomen is going to support and control the hindquarters so the dog is going to be pressed against the neck. Now if it's a little bit bigger dog, a large dog, you're going to slip one arm under the dog's neck around its legs onto the side and make sure that you're not going to be interfering with the dog's breathing. And then slip your other arm under the dog's rump and press it the far leg around as possible. And then you want to press close together. This is if it doesn't have a back injury. And draw the dog close to you. And with your back straight, then you want to stand up using your leg muscles to dog's weight. And you want to avoid pressure on the chest or the abdomen while one hand wraps around the shoulder muscles, while the other one wraps around the hind leg muscles. And then these will help bear the dog's weight. When it's critical injuries, they include moving itself and obviously serious. injuries like extreme care when we're lifting the dog with any potentially serious physical injuries. And I hear the music coming in. It sounds like we're at the end of the program. So I guess you'll have to tune in Thursday to, as they say, we get to listen to the rest of the story and make sure you can set your pens and papers down now and we'll continue this block of instruction on Thursday. Thank you very much for being here, Mike. I appreciate that. And ladies and gentlemen, we are at the top of the second hour. Thank you for listening. We'll be back Thursday and continue the programming and the classes. This is the Intel report. God bless the republic. Death to the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The empire is on the run. We are on the march, both day and night. And our mission is to bring all of you through to the other side, leave the enemy in the dust. We will forget them. We will go on enjoying life once we have been victorious and maintain our liberty. And yeah, we're going to bring the cats and dogs along too. Thank you, Mike. And no sweat. Bye-bye. Did you read this? Chicago just became the murder capital of America. I don't understand. It's been a felony to have a gun since 95. I thought that was supposed to prevent murders. I'd increase them. Criminals will always find a way to get guns, while the rest of us are just left defenseless. Chicago authorities have seized over 75,000 firearms since 1995, and now Chicago's murder rate is twice as high as New York City. Tonight, while you're asleep, criminals will be at work. Not in Kennesaw, Georgia. In 1982, our city passed a law requiring every household to have a gun. It terrified the criminals, and our violent crime rate is now 75% below the national average. We sleep well here in Kennesaw. Americans who own guns prevent over a million violent crimes every year and save lives. Get the facts. Visit armedandsecure.org.
