I'm also going to take our big signs and do the same thing. Why? People force multiplication. The signs are already paid for. Your primaries have already gone by. We have all of these states, states of the Union that have had primaries. I want you to get on the map. I want you to go to the computer. I want you to go to the meetup. The meetup room is for Ron Paul. I want you to find out who has a state that's still active, that still has primaries to come. We know we got Texas. We got a bunch of other states that are in the wings. Guess what? Wouldn't it be nice if they had all the signs from all of the states that have already been in the process? Wow, think about what we have in the way of masks. Now I'm going to tell you a little secret here. Printed material, keys and stuff like that can be sent by media mail. It's much cheaper. No, it's not going to be the fastest and maybe a little slower. But if you have a couple of signs, for instance, and you have a meetup group and it's farther away than you can drive, and maybe you're the only person that has round-pulse stuff in your area, that's not likely because usually you're working with somebody else. However, let's just say that you're isolated. Take two big cardboard sheets. take your Ron Paul signs, disassemble them accordingly, put them between two cardboard sheets, make sure they're reinforced really, really well, and then take them to the post office and send them out as media mail to whoever it is that needs them right now. Don't hesitate, don't wait, don't fiddle fart around with this. If you've got signs out there on the road down in Georgia, because boy, I'll tell you what, we went down to Georgia and there were Ron Paul signs everywhere. I mean everywhere. Every intersection we went to had round-pulse signs. You guys did a great job down there, but guess what? Your primary's over now, isn't it? How many states do you have that are nearby where you can take those signs, send them to somebody who will use them, and they'll have twice as many signs in the field. Your signs are paid for. Use media mail to ship the things. Shoot them immediately. ASAP to the people who can use them. Let's continue to arm our people effectively. This is a cascading support. By the time we're done with each state that finishes this, if every one of you did the same thing, think about the pile up of material that's available. Every corner, any corner, every building, any car, everywhere. If you're near another state and you have a whole bunch of Ron Paul literature and that state still has a primary going on, Get all your meetup group together. Pick three or four of the border towns and the towns that are farther into that state that are near you. Go in there and flood them. Flood them. Why not? What have you got to lose? Let's get the running going, let's get on down the road, let's go to the next state, let's swamp that state that's near you. We're gonna make sure that Ohio and they're in the Carolinas here real quick. We got other options and targets for us in the Midwest, but all of you around the country are in the same boat. There's another state next to you that's got a primary going. Don't you sit down on the job now. Get motivated. Get motivated. Repeat it again. Civically, get motivated. I believe the scumbags are gonna either get panicky, they're gonna get into what we call brain fart mode, and they're gonna do something stupid. And when they do something stupid, we are not going to react. We are going to, we have to neutralize, we know how we have to deal with them. We have all of them exposed. The important thing is to keep your list on hand and be ready if they do something okay. That's how you gotta think. Otherwise, again, vote with your wallet. While you're busy supporting Ron Paul, go to Walmart, go to Kmart, go to whatever store is nearby, go to the hardware, and this paycheck, because it's Thursday, so you might have your paycheck today, you go out there and you buy a brick of 22. You got my gesture and this is Mark Markey the Intel report second hour is Thursday Medical support day we're gonna be covering canine medical care one of the things we've had a lot of requests for this because a lot of you have Dogs and cats. Oh, make sure you're paying attention. Remember this program is archived Mike go right ahead, please Okay, great. Today, initially, we're going to cover on the cleansing of wounds. Now, when you're examining your dog, there's a good possibility that you're going to come across an injury that meets its attention. And bear in mind that injuries are often painful to cause as little discomfort as possible because even the most docic when it's frightened are in pain. Now, we want to practice first aid when your dog is fit and healthy by examining through wounds and then clean as you would injury. Recall the other day where we talked examining the dog, what its resting breathing rate is and these are important things. Most common types of wounds are a closed wound where the skin is not broken in an open wound, the danger of infection. It can be very deceptive because in the end of the day they close underneath their internal injuries and even when wound minor you might want to compete in the specific injuries you might wound as soon as and a bag of frozen peas makes an ideal copper that falls past the ice and it molds really well for the contour of the injured area. And if there's a superficial scratching, you might want to use some salt and a non-stinging amnestepylide after you've cleaned the wounds. When the skin's been broken, there's the underlying tissue become infected, immediate first damage and control of the pain of your veterinarian as soon as possible. And again, it'll depend on, you know, the extent of the under the closed wounds can be equally threatening. Just leave the signs of an open wound or broken skin and then sometimes it might only be just a fun wood with a human being. A syllable use of four by four. Otherwise you can use ornament material or some bead of blood and it's not going to look as extensive and you can show it and it looks like there's any bleeding. You've done that with the applying direct pressure again away here. And when you apply this make sure that it's on there for at least two minutes straight that it isn't of it if necessary. And then elevate the injury above the spine. Don't elevate the leg if there's a possibility of a fracture. We're going to cover up flying attorneys and things. We've learned some medications in the past. Hydrogen peroxide should only be used at Lyme initially. Oxide solution, solution and again that was one teaspoon of salt fly aniseptide using some good clear metal out of the open wound. The other thing too is if you have a water pick, that's ideal for cleaning out a wound. So as an alternative method, hand-held the water bottle with a spray nozzle, down to the jet instead of the mist, and that'll help flush out the air. Just getting in the wound, then the easy removal of jelly, apply K-1 jelly to the wound, and then clip and apply the petroleum jelly to the wound because it's not water soluble, and it's different than the superficially disinfected rubber open wound because you damage. Don't underestimate series may be deep and severe the risk of infection and after giving your immediate person to you that they'll just go ahead and bring it on in. So leave that keep clean the wound now we're going to apply it all bandages they're going to keep the weapon on them or fight contaminated and that's why we want to put on a protective dressing onto it. Back to managing your boot. Bandages are in line. They keep the wound dry and protect from any further injuries. They also prevent injuries from becoming more contaminated. They help absorb any seeping fluid. Bandages provide up under the skin. It's an absorbent pad, an adhesive tape, your absorbent pad, or a two by four in an emergency. Anything clean, dirt free. absorbent material can be used. Those can be cut down so it's a fit or good absorbers. Products are not so good and they're difficult to remove from the wound. There's only paper product available like toilet paper, like jelly to the wound before applying the pad. And then you can use antiseptic wounds. And then when you put the jelly on the wound, this helps tightly or urban pad and this will help secure the pad to the injury. really tightly when applying it to the injury because this is going to cause any circulation to the area. The adhesive tape to cure the dog's wrapping and the absorbent pads of the dog's body. Now it should be secure enough that the dog can't chew it off, but not too tight that it's any circulation off. And many adhesive tapes are elastic, but your bandage, well, you might put it on now, but in a few hours be swelling, it might be cutting off the circular. You want to check it. technique is after you clean over the affected make sure that it covers general edge of the pad wrap your gauze around so that the pad doesn't slip in an area you want to and then each and then you want to continue until the entire panty undamaged tissue on either side and then you want to hold the gauze with one hand or if you're lucky enough to use some cling and that's why they call it cling come to the end of it and you just mold it around it's not going to spring up and unroll on you like a start using some of your adhesive tape. Instead of trying to go around and around, it might be better to the end of where your dog ended up and starting at that, continue wrapping in it. And then you want to extend the adhesive tape to the bandage and it'll catch a little bit of the hair in these places. And it's going to kind of do when you're putting the tape on, it's under the bandages, you wrap it with the tape, move them and then continue wrapping with the tape, the adhesive tape, and dry. Cover it with a platter and dog goes outside. you know, rubber bands, if you leave them on, they can cut off the circulation and they can arrest some bad injuries there. Unless your vet pulls you out otherwise, you want to change the bandage, the bandage on for any excessive period of time because this will increase the risk of infection. The ingredient that's wasting it's dark and that's probability relation. The bandage is really highly, so the sex charges immediately. Dirty dressing with you in case they do any culture of any of the drainage from it. in mind again we're going to use if there's any unpleasant smell and it keep your dog while he's in the convalescent stage you want to keep the dog quiet and restricted while the wound is being if your dog that chews excessively at the bandage your vet can warn until the baby looks like a about a splinting now a temporary shoes any further damage while you transport that it should be solid enough to hold the leg in position but not so tight that it cuts off extremely painful for the dog and usually when you take it to the dog they'll be able to give it their somanesthetic. And again now as we've mentioned previously and I'm sure we're going to continue talking about you might want to practice putting on a splint, use the bottle or seize the gauze that it's not all alarm of what kind of force it off the dog only if it's got a good carrot and it's willing to let you do this. Try to immobilize the broken phone. You can use any material available whether it's magazines, news, the butter knife brigade, You don't have any of that. You can use magazines and newspapers around the entire leg and fast. With humans you want to cover the joints below the spec. Make sure that the split, the dog is moved tightly, that the circulation is done. Now if you're going to be using any towels or sheets or any big, just going to wrap it around until you immobilize it and then you're going to tape it and heat it with another piece of material until the surrounding thickness sure that while you're doing this that you move the leg as little as possible. And I hear the music coming in and once again we're going to mention the safety pins. We all told you to go down, take a dollar down to your dollar store and get them. If you don't have any tape you can use those safety pins or cotton strips torn from a sheet to go ahead and hold your splint in place. So we'll be back in a couple of minutes. And real quick, remember that, especially with the dogs, now the cats are a little different story, but still the cats are going to be something that we've had a lot of questions about. How do we deal with taking care of them? We've got a little couple of fuzz balls. We want to make sure they're safe. Dogs, of course, have a tendency to literally put their nose in things. They're the perimeter security there the day if they do their job Remember their job is to be out there in the advanced party checking on things that are going on So they're gonna end up depending on where you are running into different parasites running a different threat and running into different venomous creatures depending upon the environment you switch to so before you get there One of the things we want to stress is check out and you'll get the information on the universe do the research on animal husbandry What's going on there with the critters that exist and also natural and the natural environment? And what type of venomous things may you experience? Because the dogs are going to see him before you do chances are if he's doing his job. Scorpions, spider bites, obviously all the other critters that can create physical problems for the dog. We want to make sure we prevent or that we can treat when the time comes. Well, if you know what the battery of issues are, you're not going to get caught flat-footed. A lot of people looking at relocating. Now some areas are pretty mellow or pretty mild because just by the very nature, there's only so many threats that can exist. But the more intricate the biosphere, the more intricate the environment, the more intricate the number of possible threats that little four-legged creatures are going to run into because they're down there looking at things that you don't necessarily see. And they're going to be the first ones online to do their job as the security perimeter watch. There's a little micro neighborhood watch critters that are out there doing their job for you. And Mike, that's what we've got to be ready for. We do have information out there for each part of the country, don't we? Absolutely. You have water moccasins, you have coral snakes. Out here we have the Mojave Rattler, the Western Diamondback. And each one of them are different, just like we covered the other day about the Colorado River Toad. Because I could imagine people up in Michigan or stuff saying, you know, I, the last time I saw a Colorado River Toad was never. But you know, as grass, you may be forced and you may have to evacuate or fall back through to another area. And you do need to be on disease and pencil. or Rocky Mountain spotted down here. And then we also have fleas that here there were visiting from New York and New Mexico. It came down with the plague and really ill until they worked and they were all over time in a hundred years that they had had a... And then don't fret gentlemen because down the road we're going to be giving you our five-minute lessons whether it happens to be plague, giosis or Lyme disease or Rocky Mountain spotted fever or Addison's disease. quite a few different things that are in it and it helps building a treatment there. I understand this time. So anyway, we're going to continue here about putting our fabric on the splint now as we went off there for the commercial. Again, the safety pins, stress this over and over again, go down your dollar store. I've noticed that some of these that we do get that are a little, little cheap, they don't seem to have as much spring as safety pins used to. So you might want to get a good selection of small and medium and larger ones. We can use the safety pins or strips from a sheet or something like that. We can use those the whole affected area with the sporting your dog to your vet. Clean padman on the pad, injury, always look for the shock. Give life threat treating shock touch on those here for a little. Ternicates are really dangerous and they can do more harm than good whenever possible. We want to use any direct might want to use ice pad be a lot of some people's friction and it concentrates the poison there Today that it seems like it changes every year So have any poisonous snake bites you might want to you consider using an ice pack or your bag of peas Another technique I'm familiar with is get a sponge and then wet it with some water put it in a ziplock and then put it in the freezer and then it's always handy there for a because after it's around the injured area. And then you want to also immobilize it instead of using a tourniquet to consider the poison. It only wins the bleeding by any other means. And this is one of the times when you're not going to do it, you're not going to practice flying a tourniquet to your dog because it can really be painful. What we want to do is we want a necktie or a piece of gauze. You want to wrap that with a bleeding wound and you want to tie a knot. And you want to slip any other material into the wrap, the pencil or whatever piece of material that you use. Tight tourniquet that's going to cut off the blunt supply. Make an Elizabethan collar. Occasionally it might be necessary to prevent your dog from licking or chewing on itself to the vet right away. Now you can make an emergency collar by cutting the bottom out of an appropriately sized up. So you might want to bear in mind to get some of it if you have small, medium, or large dogs. wouldn't want to put up that would just so you can make one by cutting out some pain want to do you want to cut them you're gonna make four of it that the for a slip some pieces of them about six with down at the bottom of the power those where you cut it off make sure there's no jagged edges and then go ahead and line any cut edges with so then you want to make sure that the dog's a collar on then just slip the the for your material around large enough and keep that until you get to your vet. And then on the end of the program, we'll start here a little bit of about the animal damage. And it's very thin if you're, you're going to have to have medical attention for your begin one of track time. And then you want to alleviate it. So when an emergency occurs, that road, you'll understand what's going on. Understand. I know some dogs get cars. then there's less of a possibility as if you get up here in the dog's lot folder and then all of a sudden you have to take it to the vet and then it starts vomiting in the car and then you've got a big catastrophe on your hand.
