Mark Koernke discussed the historical foundations of American military innovation and militia effectiveness during the Revolutionary War period. He explained how three key factors—economic depression from currency manipulation in 1765, experienced veterans from the French and Indian Wars, and a Christian revival—created conditions for revolution. Koernke detailed specific military techniques developed by colonial militia, including the "turkey trot" running method that allowed rapid movement across counties while maintaining combat readiness. He emphasized that militia forces, not regular British soldiers, conducted 90% of Revolutionary War actions and developed unconventional tactics superior to European military doctrine. The broadcast concluded with commentary on contemporary threats to American liberty and the preparedness of modern militia movements.
I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave, in this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay attacks you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the midst for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each god given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the furturis. There's gonna come a day when I can shut off all of this old tech and go to the alternate technology and we won't ever have to worry about the phones or the other nonsense again. But for the meantime, with all the funny things that are happening, we'll just play along and let them feel good about watching things that are not gonna be very relevant real soon. With regard to the way things work or don't work half the time. Today is Thursday and of course we're almost through the week work week again. It doesn't take long at all. been pretty busy across the board. Interestingly enough, I had some good conversations with some of our listeners here earlier in the day. And you know, part of the thing that I really like to emphasize is, you know, when we talk about innovation and people go, oh, we've got so much and the bad guys have this and the bad guys have that, you know what, I'm going to explain to you something. The American Patriot Movement of 1775 didn't just spring out of the woodwork. Everybody just didn't stand around in the pub and go, hey, who's done? Did you have a...revenue? No, I guess so. Maybe...well look, there's some guys coming down the road. Let's...let's...um, okay? I'm gonna live my life, I'll be right back. It didn't happen that way at all. In fact, just reverse. There's a series of events, and I've covered these in some articles that I've been doing for different magazines and newspapers, and last year especially. Having to do with how the American Revolution came about. Now, there are three basic factors that a lot of you have to understand. Number one, let's see if this sounds...sounds... were having right now you go out to the matter guys number one in seventeen sixty five because of what the crown did with the paper currency now the currency was being used inside the colonies effectively done non interest bearing uh... and they're prospering the uh... they've formatted a depression inside the colonies to start about seventeen sixty five now it's cascading it progressively got very bad very deep all over the colonies at once and there's an anybody that wasn't affected Now, they had just come out of the French and Indian Wars, 1756, 1758, some of the major actions, but the tail end of that with a whole series of minor battles could even be counted up until about, no, 1770. But the majority of it happening in the late 1750s through to the early 1760s, a decade plus before the American Revolution. So you got a lot of war veterans, got a lot of men who fought the French and Indian wars in very long and bitter campaigns. These were vicious, you know, no holds barred battles. The American people paid for this. Very few. In fact, that's one of the most important things that should be understood about the pre-revolutionary period. America footed the bill. America paid for the food, paid for the equipping, paid for the horses, paid for the carriages, paid for the cannon, paid for everything that was pretty much used in the war. The regulars were the minority, not the majority in most actions, contrary to what they try to depict in the Hollyweird. The militia constituted a majority of what fought all of the French and Indian wars on the British side. The colonies providing both the blood and the resources. That was one of a little bit of a complaint to a degree because it appeared that it was a secondary issue to protect the frontier From the interests of the French who were trying to expand their control the colonies You know to get into the colonies now the war is over the depression hits People were a little rambunctious and I think a little you know got a little carried away at different points as far as what we see socially with regard to interaction and so What happened is one of the thing that transpired is? was a massive revival of the Christian faith across the United States, across the colonies at that time. It is considered to be one of the largest and strongest single revivals of Christianity in North America, period, historically. And it should be noted that if you want to find some really cool books on the subject, one book in particular, which I've mentioned for years, is They Preached Liberty. The title of the book is They Preached Liberty. the 10 years of sermons leading up to the American Revolution. They preached liberty. The 10 years of ministering, you know, of sermons leading up to the American Revolution. But it was from the pulpit. These are people, of course, men very well educated. And, of course, some of these speakers are the men who educated the founding fathers. Is there a single author mark? I don't have the author present. I have two copies of this book and the other one is in the other room and I know the ones boxed away right now because I always save a copy back. But it is available in border books through, if it's not available on the shelf, it's available through their warehouse division. If you go to the other counter, don't go to the main counter, go to their warehouse counter and they'll look the book up and you can find it in both hard bound or soft cover. Now I know we've exhausted a lot of these. But these three dynamic components helped to create a very interesting situation in the ten years leading up to the American Revolution. In fact, it was argued that the Revolution would probably have broken out in 1765 with the changing of the currency. Hint, hint, wink, wink, nod, nod. Okay, changing of the currency. Depression across the United States or across the colonies. A lot of war veterans of course in the population and kind of like what we have now and of course the next formula here is to realize that it is our faith that holds our people together and of course uh... not matter if just matter when the uh... christian uh... the true christian epic not this flatty you know let's just give it to anybody and get our butts swamp nonsense or you know suck up to the israelis no matter what they do or how bad they get the further stuff out the window we're talking about people knew they were talking about okay yet during this ten-year period down What's interesting is there was a whole military science developed based upon the warfare of North America. Now this is quite deep because, you know, I was taught, when I was little I didn't know what I was being taught completely, but then I started this, I read, I caught on to what my old teachers were doing many, many, many years ago, because I'm 50. That's not a long time ago, but it's been 40 years or 45 or 47 years since some of this stuff was pumped into my little mind through the education system so they didn't do too bad in some areas but i had teachers in the right place the right time a lot of them were senior teachers already had thirty years in any education process they've been in one room schoolhouses as teachers in some cases and they were phenomenal instructors well one of the things that we were taught uh... well i don't know but i will get far yet one of the things i will say this the military science concept uh... project projecting special technologies and techniques into the malicious is something that started out as a concept basically in the rough. In other words, yeah, the guys get out in the field, they experiment with stuff, they found what works. Well, there was a lot of discussion about developing or standardizing certain techniques to improve the overall performance of the militia. Notice I didn't say regular army. There was no such thing. The regulars were the redcoats. Okay. The militia was all of the people. Now, remember, every county had militia. Every person in the county, as long as the rigamortis hasn't set in, was a member of the militia and still is. People just don't realize this. And of course the bad guys don't want you to think about it because then you realize there's a responsibility issue. The R word is attached. Anyway, back then they did understand what that meant and unless the physician, the local county coroner, and one of their physician deemed you to be incapacitated, you were not exonerated from the militia. And that means that there could be injuries, amputations, a lot of men lost legs in the war and they lost legs or arms in accidents. tuberculosis could be a number of different illnesses that could incapacitate a person that would take them completely out of the cycle. But unless something really bad was wrong with you, you were not exempt from malicious service. And because of this, there were also people who were looking at the, as we said, the idea of expanding on the performance of the militia and making them work better at what they do. In other words, do a better job, get there faster, move there quicker. When they get there, know how to fight. Now they left the individual performance with the musket pretty much up to the soldier that was carrying the rifle. But there were many skills that were progressively developed and special technologies. Look at some of the special things that you do recognize. For instance, how about last of the Mohicans? What was that guy carrying? What was he called? The Long Carabiner. Now why was he called the Long Carabiner because of a special kind of rifle developed here in the United States? Heretofore not used in Europe. And what kind of weapon was it? Ah, that Kentucky long rifle in its earliest form. To include rifling if need be. Of course, depending upon the quality of the Smith who was producing the rifle in the frontier in its earliest and crudest forms in some cases. But these weapons were the special arm of the frontier. They increased accuracy, they increased range. They demonstrated special performance that did not exist within the musketoon or the musket family of arms normally carried by military forces. So this gave, right off the bat, the militia, especially frontier militia, a major edge in terms of performance. Also adopting what would be considered unconventional warfare tactics based upon their experience with the Indian nations, The militia forces used very, very extreme light infantry tactics. And of course, would always take advantage of barrier fortifications, walls, trees. Dom, I think whatever they could hide behind was a good option. Right. Sure. That's right. Now... The next step was to look at how to standardize in certain areas. Now we can go to high end with high tech or big tech. In other words, when they talked about guns, we were producing artillery pieces to a limited degree inside the US. But also another thing that came into play with military science was physical fitness. You don't see a lot of information on it, but you've got to remember that when the Patriots were, when the ship showed up at the dock, it was the Patriots that were there first for all the law books, which is why we beat the snot out of the, out of the, the, the crown's bar members. They were also there to grab any books on any subject they could find, and military information was a premium. Not just because they were thinking about waging war against the crown, so much as the idea they were waging war against the French on a regular basis, and everybody knew what it meant to lose. big time, maybe your life, your family, and your property. So because of this, there's a whole technology came up. Well, years ago, I got taught something. I was in phys ed, of all places. This is a history lesson. Out of phys ed, we're sitting there and the instructor goes, I'm going to teach you a new form of running, a different form of running, and I want you guys all to pay attention. And the instructor stood up, the gym teacher, and we were all about, oh, seven years old. He goes, watch this, now what you did is you kept your legs straight, you extend your first leg and you start to pick up on the front ball of your foot. Now you do not bend your knee when you run or when you move, it's actually called the turkey trot. In the process, you swing your arms in a longer gate and you don't bend them like you do when you're jogging, but you keep them straight and allow centrifugal force of each of the arms to help project your body forward. Now let's explain the rest just a little bit, but this was a different technique none of us Yeah, this looks kind of strange, and it did look strange Ah, but it had a telling factor in the beginning of the war and it gave us an edge that the other side didn't have We'll be back with more information on military science of 1775 and another thing In about three minutes here, and we the people, Radio Network Hi, my name is Don Wiskin and for over seven years I've been telling people about Cardivite. Hopefully they've got another album done So if that happens, cross your fingers, we'll make sure you have them up and we've got to play some of the music too. Real quick, I'll finish this up, but the whole idea is that contrary to the idea, you know, the controlled media, mostly owned by the British, and controlled by the characters, the powers of the B that tell you, oh, they were just a bunch of bumpkins. No, they weren't. These men were actually well studied, none even well versed, all very serious. They understood the deadliness and the deadly nature of the battlefield. The idea was to give the Patriots an edge so they could respond more rapidly. Think about it. You're on the frontier. The French and Indians do attack, or just an Indian raiding party. They move at good speed. The idea is to move with good order in mass, be able to not only, you can't just move the same speed as the bad guys. You've got to move faster to catch up with them. That's right. So this was interesting, the concept of this turkey trot is that once you get into motion, once you start to take the first three steps are the most energy consuming. Once you get into this gate the way that it works is you work off the front balls of your feet and you're actually moving along with your legs stiff and you're pivoting off them forward. Now this technique, think about it, you're carrying your musket in your right hand, you're carrying another bag, your ditty bag in another, or a utility bag, plus you're carrying your haversack, and your motion with your arms is that that weight is included in the forward momentum. This was all worked out as a science. This is stuff, it is interesting for years, I wonder, you know, because there were mentions of this, you know, there are several mentions of this in reports from the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Or they said, and the Americans were moving in formations of five and ten and eight and whatever in a really funny gate that looked quite strange but allowed them a maximum amount of distance to be covered in a short period of time. Now, the more I looked into it and the more they discuss this, this is one of those many things they don't want to talk about because, again, the propaganda from the ring knockers, the way they're betraying the country, is to attack the history of the nation. You've got to destroy the heritage, you've got to destroy the concept of understanding that these men actually had their act together. They did an excellent job. Probably the best example, the act and militia, which are the actual formation that fought at Concord, they're the ones that actually fired the first shots. Actually, they were the first ones fired upon at Concord while Concord was being attacked by the British when they were ransacking it. At the bridge, the Acton militia showed up. The Concord militia were milling around in the side edges of the road, not trying to get in the way of any line, or you know, in the line of fire. And the Acton commander came in and said, what are you guys doing, basically? And he said, well, we're not sure what to do. Well, they could see smoke coming from Concord. And so the acting commander said, well, I know what to do. He called his men up out of the road, formed them up, told the pfeiffen drummer to sound off. He stepped forward. The British fired in panic. Acting commander and the pfeiffen drum both dropped dead. They were the first ones in line. But that started the whole action. It was that point. The whole tide of the British, that's as far as the British got. That point right there. And one man made the difference. One man made the decision and the rest is history. But to get there, to use search techniques and this is what they used as a formation they used the turkey trot to actually get from point A to point B across an entire county. Remember the average distance of many counties is the sort of person typically could walk in a whole day. Think about that. And they covered that county in a morning the time it took for Paul Revere's men to ride out and send the messages and the other messengers and theirs and the other messengers and theirs. They turned around came back and moved across the countryside. Now What's important about this? Why would I bring this up? What do you think the average age of a regular soldier going into the American Revolution was in 1775, Don? We're probably youngsters. I've seen the 20s, early 20s. Ah, well think about it now. Let's go back here a bit. Most of them were average, the average, although there were some young people. Think about this. The average veteran fought in the year 1756 through 1762. Now, Let's say that they were 15, well we'll say they're 20, 16, 18, 35, 45. The veterans would be of course a little senior because they owned land. They were fighting for their homes. So you're looking at a man that when the war was fought, the Indian war was fought, he was about say 23 to 25 years of age at say 1760. The war doesn't start until 1775. Now add 15 years, he's looking at 35, 40 years old, okay, getting a little creaky there. The world wasn't quite as kind to everybody back then, but many of the veterans were in their 40s or 50s when they fought the French and Indian War. So by 1775, a lot of them were older, and one of the reasons that this whole concept of coming up with a new solution, utilizing their existing resources, not the least of which is a man walking at a specific distance within a specific time, how could you get a whole group of men from point A to point B more efficiently and do it in such a way that they're able to be functional at the other end? Because the most important thing is you can run from point A to point B but are able to fight when you get there. Are you going to be dog tired? Yeah, remember the old Sarge's movie talking to the Colonel? And he paid for it even though in many cases they were 45, 55, 65 years of age. engaged the most sophisticated military on the planet utilizing the best resources that they had available, techniques that they had developed over a period of years, ammunition and weapons that they had accumulated, stockpiled, and put in reserve, artillery that had been built inside the colonies. That's one of the reasons they were going to Concord, because at Concord they had an artillery foundry and they had a carriage, a wheel right, that was located on one of the farms. The man was casting light artillery and they were spreading the tubes out. Plus, they had many of the militia gun tubes that had been collected from the period of the French and Indian War and that were stored away or hidden. That's why, if you recall, you remember a comment made by one of the founding fathers when they were at the, just before the signing of the Declaration of Independence, they said it will take more than all of the cannon and all of the shot and powder that is hidden in the cellars and basements across the colonies to win this war. Think about what they're saying there. Everybody goes, oh my goodness, you know what? And guys, these people had worked at this for a long time, and they saw the betrayal coming. Because, remember, they actually were loyal subjects. They had actually served and fought, and of course they, first of all, cleared the land. The biggest problem they had, they had two enemies facing them. They had the scallywag businessmen from overseas who were coming in with the crown agents and stealing the land right off from underneath the people, utilizing taxes, fines, and fees. That's why the Stamp Act was such an insult and that's why the tea itself, of course there was also opium there too, something not many people want to talk about. The Crown was figuring they're going to try and bring the dope trade into the United States just like they brought the dope trade into China. So half of what was floating in the harbor there had nothing to do with the tea tax so much as it had to do with the dope heads and the dope pushers who were trying to bring the stuff in. So here we have a situation where there's much, it's a much deeper scenario. I painted this out because just as with today, people, there is no difference. Take a look at the situation we're in now. It's the same old tools, it's the same old rack, and it's the same old carpetbaggers who have done it to us before. They're trying, and to them, this is poetic justice. I think I should mention that from the strategic overview. For them, the idea is to use the same tools on the American people, destroy our liberty and freedom from within, and conquer us from without. And I am seeing more and more and more of these snide comments and also little bits and pieces that are being done overseas about the whole idea of, you know, who's to blame, for instance, for the economy, why they need to come over and, you know, global economy, why they come over and kick America's butt. They're talking that way in Europe. They're talking that way in Asia. They're actually planting that seed and some pea brains over there. And again, they wouldn't be thinking. They're not thinking of it themselves. They're talking about coming over here because they've been told they're going to be coming over here. Last night on the BBC, if you watch, they had a couple pieces that were hit pieces they did, yapping about the US being the reason for the global recession. Well, it's not just the US, but it is the Ponzi scam money that all the global bankers helped to make people. It wasn't just the US bankers that did it. Scumbags overseas, the ones manipulating it, not us. We'll be back in a few minutes here with the People Radio Network, and again, back 1775. Now, going for regular jobs a few months later, we know we're doing something right. It's a well thought out formula. All those people with the title senator next to their name voted to enact the veterans disarmament bill which passed through the house. Anonymous count. They did not do a roll count vote. Now I would say that that's worth having a roll count vote for, but of course cowards and traders will not allow that to happen because obviously once we see who's who in the zoo, you'll know it's very specific we could have mentioned by name. So anyway, the cowards and traders in the Senate uh... past the veterans disarmament bill it was signed by the bobble headed bush where they bush the uh... best president mexico's ever had history so now when you're asking about the veterans disarmament bill remember it's not an h r it's not a senate bill it's appeal a public law and you can go to the federal register in your library and you will find that the new appeals are all listed there so very soon if not already there's a copy of what's called an addendum comes in as a separate piece usually in the slip cover of the text that holds, it's a binder that typically they have and they add to it constantly. Either that or it's the book, but it still has slip covers in the front depending on what system your library has. From the Federal Register it'll have the new PLs, and I don't have the PL for this yet, but we will very soon, for the Veterans Disarmament Bill. Those Senators, well, quick here, because we're going to finish up our history process here, our project, but one of the things to remember is military science the concept and processes that were developed all their things that they weren't quite up to speed on we don't need people anymore okay but even after kind of the precious back it's true but that will even the bleeding was was going out of work on a silent paper trying to keep people alive and as we know even george washington actually uh... bled himself and that's one of the reason they probably passed away the day that he did because he'd weakened his condition. But other technologies were in place to include recovery of casualties off the battlefield. Many of these techniques, of course, came over from research or from development that was done in Europe with all the many wars that they were always involved in. We also were cleaning out the bargain basement cellars of Europe in the 1760s. A good example of that is if you know, and also this happened with the American Civil War, by the way, which is why when you look at the Confederacy or the Union's inventory of arms, swords which one do you like that would fancy enough for you right here there there's such a there virtually hundreds and hundreds that were purchased from the prussian states they were you know the germanic states uh... denmark from holland from france every basement or seller that had weapons as weapons and technology that was from say the eighteen fifties eighteen sixties sold to the americans uh... say in the end of the 1860s with the Civil War, but back in the 1750s, the stuff that was from the 40s and 50s and into the 60s, was being sold to the Americans in bargain basement operations, of course selling a dozen top dollar, but clearing out the sellers of Europe almost completely. So there's a massive array of different equipment that was used, a lot of it, pretty much Well, about as crude as you could get and warn in many cases, but the logic was it was better than nothing and it's what we had to fight with. Contrary to these pictures where they show these perfectly pristine uniforms and all matching weapons, nothing could be further from the truth. Now, example of military science and the concepts for all of you that say, well, you can't learn anything by reading, Dom. Mr. Knox, for instance, he was our artillery commander, wasn't he? artillery, the Boston militia artillery, he eventually developed a wherewithal, working in books, actually working with books by the way, so that he read and consumed everything that came off the docks. It was his expertise that built up American artillery that fought through the whole of the revolution and his standards that he laid down became the standards for the whole of the militia and for the whole of the regulars. So, don't tell me you can't learn from books and don't tell me you can't apply it. Now, does that mean that direct application is kind of nice? Well, yes and no, because one of the problems that I've already explained to my students for years is each school creates a dogma. This dogma, to a degree, keeps a person perhaps rather narrow in mind depending upon the control factor or the controlling nature of the institution that they're taught in. So, regular army personnel, okay, within their area of expertise and their area of experience, perhaps have a solution to the problem. But, remember that you're thinking paraconventional or unconventional forces, as we saw with 1775 to 1783, mostly fighting the American Revolution. So, the norm for Europe was not going to be the norm that worked here in the United States. And it was always a combination, contrary to what they try to push. Oh, the professional soldiers came over and taught us a lot. Yes, they did. And they helped with regimentation in certain areas, especially with procedure when trying to bring volume fire to bear, which was the whole idea behind teaching the new steps in martial arm use. In other words, being able to load your weapon, use your weapon, and then reload again. But for all of that, the majority, 90% of the time, of the actions that were fought through the colonies were fought with militia forces that developed their own skills, their own techniques, that developed unique techniques that were so efficient that they virtually smacked down everybody in front of them on the battlefield. It's concealed a lot of gray hairs. Exactly the point. The whole idea is that again, and for those people I would challenge you, if you haven't done American history, there's a great way you can do it. Go to the battlegrounds where the battles were fought and take a look at the plaques that are there. Take a look at the names of the formations that fought the successful actions. Now not every action was one. Come on people. You have ups, downs. You have some units that are better than others. You have others that just have a bad hair day, so to speak. You're in the wrong place at the right time. And the fickle finger of God, he's touching you today. And it's your day, perhaps, to die. It's just the way things work. War is a very bad thing. Not exactly the first choice in entertainment, but when it comes to keeping yourself free, when the tyrant shows up, bumping him with a rifle actually does a lot of good. And in this case with the American Revolution, for instance, Saratoga, the Cowpens. There's another one. Cowpens is one that, you know, that's not a very noble name, but we even named it Carrier, by the way, Cowpens. The Battle of Cowpens was a majority of militia with only a very small contingent of regular military. the commanders agreed on a specific end result they was one of the most successful in development actions probably of the war because it was a very speedy and dynamic battle probably the closest thing that compares to that is what they were trying to show in the movie the patriot with regard to uh... the way that they drew the the british forces in much in the same thing happened at the battle of colpens uh... serato gov it was a series of small actions like this but again militia played the dominant role Regular forces were there, but only in smaller numbers. And in fact, you've got to remember all the other sort- all of the other sorties that took place left, right, and around the action, the small skirmishers, the pickets, all of the other forces, they were militia, period. They did a fine job, they did a good job of whipping those regulars, I say. So don't say it can't be done. And yeah, it was quite a while ago. You know what? Americans haven't changed. War hasn't changed much. And yeah, there's some other trinkets on the battlefield. We take them, we capture them, we use them to the best of our ability. We stomp the guts out of the other side, and we make them ours and put our name on them when we're done. Well, for all of you that are thinking about, you know, looking at the situation, well, there's a lot of people who said, this kid will resist, you'll be absorbed, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, back in 1775. Now it took a couple of bad years of walking with bloody footprints in the snow people, but by E-treating the enemy on a massive front, we were able to effectively neutralize the threat over a period of years because we were willing to go for the long haul. Now this part, another part of the formula there, we're touching that real quick, because it also has to do with what's probably going to be an issue in the future. This is the Intel report. Ladies and gentlemen, we are back. This is the Intel Report Live. You got Don and Mark in. Real quick here, another little thing people would be going, well, the French, they provided us with support, which of course is also covered in the Patriot. The movie's actually a good little textbook. Yes, the French showed up, and you gotta remember there's a whole lot of problems to overcome with that because you gotta remember the good portion of the veterans fighting the American Revolution. What was that war they fought again, Don? Oh, the French-Indian war. Well, what does that imply, who your enemy was? yes it does and the french were not nice people well they tried to be a little civil but uh... in fact you guys the french are the ones who brought scalping to the north that was not an indian practice when they wanted to account for the white folks of course both sides eventually employed that in the in different at different times both the british and the french in the period even way before the whole process there and it's argued and debated as far as who actually gave the order but we know that the commerce traders were probably the ones involved since the uh... British Indies companies were notorious for this kind of activity in other parts of the planet too. Well, in the French, of course, because of where they were. But the French were intelligent about how they were managing their populations that were under their aegis, under their control. And it's funny because we let them into the country, of course, but in very limited form. And one thing that should be pointed out, okay? Now, this is what's fascinating to me. We gain our independence. We told the French to leave fast. We didn't say, hey, stick around for a bit and build 14 bases on our count. Build a base in New York and go ahead and build a base in Philadelphia. And by the way, create a green zone over there by the Capitol and you guys can take over. Oh, wait a minute. You see the parallel? Yeah, you see that we didn't do that. Okay, so I don't see how, after we quote unquote, liberate another country, how we would expect them to be any happier about us sticking around. But back in 1783, and actually a little before that, once it was confirmed that there wasn't any more hostility between the Brits and the Americans, the new Americans, although it was still happening behind the scenes, it just wasn't up there in your face anymore, the French were asked to evacuate as quickly as they could get to the boats within reason. And they all, everybody, they did little parties and everybody was smiling and waving, but everybody had their rifle in the other hand. Because they understood the ambition of the great powers. And that was one of the things that never left the minds of anybody who was especially involved with creating this nation as a free and independent state. That all of the great powers played one against the other. The illogic was that they were going to play us against the Brits for a bit, for the home country, and then turn around and if they could, well, do in a quasi peace and peace environment with occupation that had taken place. They'd fought decades for it, how frustrating they'd be for the French. for about 20 years non-stop and some very aggressive actions that were very expensive and didn't take the colonies. Then, because of the revolution, they actually put troops on the soil. However, they couldn't keep them here. Now this is another bit of the formula you got to kind of look at or just you know again part of the reason is you know for the best laid plans of mice and men and I'm sure that there was another agenda because Certainly the French Navy outclassed anything that we had in as far as basic, you know ships of the line and all the other fighting ships available So they could have done with the front what the British did with their their their resources, you know under sail But the problem they had was for all of their schemes Europe wasn't sitting still either and the Dutch the Prussians parties to include the Italians and the Spanish were busy with other activities on the continent which forced them to turn their eyes in that direction. And this of course to a degree took some of the pressure off us, forced them to withdraw their forces because otherwise it would have been a very expensive affair. And this is something that they don't want to talk about to make everybody do the smile and wave. And we were on friendly terms when France left, at least for the time being, but they sent a bill. Well, they sent a bill and we were kind of poor, so we really didn't pay them the way they expected either, which is another problem. Now, that didn't create happy tones later on, and of course, kind of stuck in everybody's craw for a long time, decades beyond the revolution. But that's another story. Point is, the French helped out, but we fought 90% of the actions. They worked in specific areas, what I like to call the pimple elements of a war that everybody gets to see. You know, they mention certain actions, but people don't think every day. This is one thing to remember about all conflicts. I don't care. Your uncle, your grandpa might not have been at the Battle of the Bulge. But you got to look at a combat map, people. Look at the lines. How many hundred miles were tied into that? Do you think it was any better being in a secondary post somewhere 20 miles, 50 miles, or 100 miles from where the Battle of the Bulge is taking place? Oh, behind the lines, too. A lot of poor men died, I won't say poor men, but a lot of good men died in the Black Forest. That action continued on almost to the end of the war, even while the rest of the campaign was moving through Germany. In fact, there's been little stories written about that because the casualties were so high. Well, the American Revolution was the same way, and the militia fought extensively, extensively. Go up into New York, go into Massachusetts, go over to Virginia. Not just the Civil War sites, the Revolutionary War sites are all there for you to draw information from. Just look at the maps. Take a look at the situation. I'm putting this out because a war in the United States, which is most likely, is going to be just as rugged, it's going to be just as dynamic, it is not going to be an all simple nice neat little box where the enemy would think they'd like to set it up. They're planning on dividing us geographically and cutting the country up four ways, and they're going to use natural land barriers to do it. We have to be ready to ensure that we hold the country together. The American Patriot Movement has no interest in the destruction of the infrastructure of this nation. The American Patriot Movement has no interest in the destruction of our factories. The American Patriot Movement is trying to preserve our borders. Now, we'll take a look at that list and tell me who has been screwing it up. It ain't us. Think about it. It's the American Patriot Movement that's trying to preserve your liberty. Everything on that list, you will find the shysters on the other side are trying to do just the reverse. So there's the issue. That's the strategic overview as far as, well, what are we fighting for? We're fighting for our nation. We're fighting for our liberty, our families. We're going to be fighting for our freedom. The other side, paid mercenaries. Will they fight? Yes, they will. Are they stupid? I think they are for trying. I believe that they're going to get their ass rump so bad that the cowards, OK, in Washington, the cowards that are traders from overseas, the CFR type cowards, those traders, They're gonna be on the 747s and the DC-10s and the L-1011s and the 757s taking off from the airports leaving these idiot ground pounders as they watch those last planes leave. And those characters on the ground are gonna realize they've been left behind. Yeah, a deal only exists when there are so two sides. Don't let your paycheck either. See, now I will say this and I've mentioned this to my friends and all of us people I've trained over the years. That will be the most dangerous time. Why? Because a mercenary that realizes all the wicked and evil things that he has done on this continent that will be he will be paying for them He now realizes punishment is at hand and in his own mind There will be great terror for he knows these the police state types the bat faggots Okay, the HRT the one the people who shot a woman with a baby in her arms, okay? They knew exactly what they're doing. There's going to be a comeuppance, and it's not an if. It's now a rolling thunder. The Veterans Disarmament Act has brought an entire massive legion of veterans into our ranks, and these men do know how to fight. And they fought from different periods, so they have different concepts of how to fight. we're not going to play in the same box the enemy does. I kind of walked through this with a couple of our friends today, just mildly, but trying to explain the troops. You know, the average militia person right now is over is going to outgun the bad guys about threefold. Okay, that's one of the things to think about. We're better armed, we're better equipped, we have a more in-depth supply system that's at our fingertips, we're not waiting for somebody to deliver it to us, we don't have a bunch of anal retentive control freaks in charge, If you want it and you can carry it, you get to use it in the field. How do you like that for a standing order? Now you see how that works? And no, we aren't going to worry about does it match this regulation or restriction. Troops overseas in Iraq right now are being sent out into the field without weapons because of some politically correct anal retentive officer who has given orders to try and suck up to these politically correct globalists. to meet a specific agenda when in reality what they're doing is sacrificing our young men and women. We're not going to allow that. Okay? We don't do that on our side. If you can carry it, you can use it. Congratulations. If you think you feel like Arnold today, you will find out whether or not you feel like Arnold tomorrow when you find out that might be a bit heavy. But in the meantime, you're going to use it just fine. Okay? That's simple. We're all gonna work it out. And by the way, once you find that it's too heavy, don't worry. One of the other guys will be there to help you with it. We'll get it in the field, we'll make it work, and we will adapt and overcome. That is the mission. That's why I was explaining the whole history of this. Do not think that this is anything new, but also do not think that you cannot come up with solutions just to reverse. There's 258 million Americans. A good chunk of them are in the Patriot Movement already, and a whole bunch are joining. So the other side, I'll pity the fools. Remember that line? I'll pity the fools. I really do. Well Don, we're at the top of the first hour. As always, God bless the Republic. A guest of the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We are on the march both day and night. Six Van Ants, chase him down the road, give him a backpack full of rocks, send him halfway back to the spiders that sent him. I don't think the sharks will be too happy with that, Don. Yeah, they might even spit him out. Yep. Anyway, thank you, Don. God bless you, Mark. God bless you, America. We'll be back in about six minutes. On September 1st, Vote Rescue and our coalition, Texans for Real Elections, conducted an exit poll at the Texas straw poll in Fort Worth. With almost a 25% responding rate, we found a discrepancy in one candidate's results, Ron Pauls. We are planning exit polls for the primary and presidential elections in 2008. This is a fun and exciting process in exercising our rights as citizens. Join us as a volunteer with Vote Rescue to monitor those elections and remind the government that elections belong to the people. Become a part of the growing movement to restore elections to the citizens with hand-counted paper ballots. We are winning. Exciting progress is being made, but we need your help.
