Mark Koernke and Donald Betcher discussed Michigan politics, corporate malfeasance, and media manipulation tactics on this Friday episode. They covered Ron Paul's 2008 presidential campaign and grassroots sign-posting efforts, the collapse of Michigan's economy following Pfizer's departure and broken corporate promises, the decline of American manufacturing and small businesses displaced by Chinese imports, and retail chain mismanagement exemplified by Meyers' firing of experienced middle management. The hosts fielded a caller named George who shared retail industry experience and discussed how corporate cost-cutting and poor management decisions destroy company culture and customer service. In the second half, Koernke detailed media interview techniques used to discredit guests, including deliberate lighting manipulation and editing, and advised listeners on how to maintain composure and message discipline when confronted by hostile press.
I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked him through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. Invist the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As I awoke, he vanished and missed from whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as a tyrant's trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms He fought to keep what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Intelligence Report. I'm Mark Horneke. And I'm Donald Betcher. One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territory south and north. Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to us on We The People of Radio Network, wtprn.com. That's We The People of Radio Network. And we're on live 365. Then go to Liberty Tree Radio. We're also on AMFM major stations, AMFM and FM micro stations and CBE base stations east and west of the Mississippi. Today, Don, is day of the week for most people, Monday through Friday. Well, today is Friday, and so for all you guys listening, we're looking at the other end of the day here. You probably are trying to get home. It's just at the end of the work day here for a lot of people in the Midwest. You guys out west listening to us, you got a little bit longer to go, but Be patient, be careful. When you do get in the car, pay attention to what's going on beyond the hood because a lot of other people aren't thinking that way. They're on the cell phone, they're thinking about something happening at work today, they're thinking about something that they're going to do at the house, and the problem is they're not really imaging what's happening right in front of them. Next year, now they meet. Avoid that by paying attention and driving defensively. That's one thing we ask everybody out there to do. And again, mom and dad, be careful, especially, you know, you may already be home, you're thinking about just driving out again in places other than, you know, thinking about the drive in front of them. Let's make sure that that doesn't happen to you. You want to be people that get through the season at the end of the weekend and get back to business on Monday. So it is Friday, of course. And we've got activity all over Michigan, the primary. But what's cool is we had Jim, our friend, stop in, had a pickup truck, whole sign in the back. cool thing is even as we speak dropping them off and planting them all over the place. SARS up of course in many places around the township here and in other places this evening. We're going to make another round and throw up another batch of homemade signs. Everybody loves those. They stay up and nobody bops them, which is really kind of neat, Don. All of them that we put up now, you've seen a lot of them. Well, I figured well to be safe. I got the old ladder out because people aren't doing it. And I took the sign to the top of the ladder, not too far, because I don't want it too high. And where I mounted these things where they're on poles and such, you can't just walk up and take them down. But that's only about 50% of them. The other half are at eyeball level. You have different locations where it's very easy to walk up and just tear them down, throw them in the brush, or whatever. And nobody has messed with any of them. I think I got about a total of 12 out there right now that are the big ones. I made out of plywood. for president and a bunch of little ones that just say Ron Paul repress because I used up every piece of scrapboard I could find from the lumber you know junk bin from the construction site down here and still got two more than Victor and I just didn't get the chance to put up but tonight no matter what they got to go up somewhere so they're going to be up and ready for Saturday morning as people are driving into town and those will be deployed for our eight o'clock to nine o'clock program so we get a lot of work to do We've got a couple of extra big signs that dropped off and we've got those out where they're on the road here where the fact that I think the count was, wait a minute, I might be wrong on that. 8,000 cars per day passed through the stretch. Now of course that's going back and forth. 80,000 cars at the intersection that we have just down the road here through our little town because of all the commuters passed by the areas of where we put these signs up. A lot of people passing by Ron Paul for president guys don't think we can't have an effect. never coming back. They get you to do something, it might come up, and oh, before things got real politically correct, he might put and say, would it give up? I just, and McCain's got to give up. I think one of the biggest problems is, to a degree though, as we know, we have a pretty much worthless governor here in Michigan. She's swapping spit. Her significant other, the number two man in the Democratic National Committee, You didn't get the job because he's qualified. You didn't get the job because he's competent. Purely this whole thing is a hack operation. Five years ago she said, just wait. In five years, you'll be blown away. They pretty much anything they had in the way of resources and revenue. And actually that's the biggest problem. The only thing that they can think of is revenue through taxation, typical of all of these Soviets. And because of this, they've driven companies out, they've got other companies that have, well, made deals with the vampires. And it's interesting, because the vampires feeding off vampires, of course, it isn't really part of the original legend at all. It's funny, but we had Pfizer. Now, here in Michigan, we had what we basically call the, we had the Drug and Engineering Corps, both research and for, between Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. specialized research companies both in the medical research for drugs and other types of therapy technology. That's a lot of engines. I mentioned this the other day. We had originally Bendix which became United Technologies which was again and finally, poof, we're talking some big money here. We're talking major government contracts, all kinds of pats on the back, all kinds of special spit being swapped to special interests. There were many different drug companies but then, Here comes Pizer, hello Shishkebab, one little company and take it over. Hey, this is great, Pizer getting bigger. Of course, when it's moving in, talking with the Gov, I'm sure she got some money in her little Cayman Island account, along with a bunch of other Shisters in government. And all kinds of special deals, Don and the company for... all of the uh... tax breaks and property tax breaks and all you could probably all this stuff and fighter kept getting bigger so we may want to appease them more and in fact in michigan michigan was one of the few states where affected with the only state that you couldn't litigate the drug companies for any damage done to you by you know by my adult that they push from a little good doctors office and will be kept going of course by your bottom everybody uh... warner lambert was not a small company but one of them but was absorbed by fighter well all of a sudden down last year uh... the governor who's told the governor who of course is counting on the idea that they've got these big companies and i and i know what they were thinking of doing they were going to turn and they were going to think their bangs into their throat now that they were so big in of course after they claim they'd made deals never really awful fighter announced out of the blue we're leaving the state goodbye out of the blue people were talking over on the other side of the state of michigan they had a project was about a hundred thousand dollar complex hundred-thousand or flatmark a hundred million dollar complex and on the cancel that i mean you're in the middle of it they had the foundation of the guest cement they got concrete they got all the way that wiring going to get the walls up they simply stopped the project did it they took all this the purpose personnel that they they felt they wanted to as far as construction and operations and even maintenance and ship them over here to Ann Arbor to Pfizer over on Plymouth Road. Guess what they did next? Everybody goes, oh, at least I saved my job. I'm over here in Ann Arbor. We're all safe. And we're working on a similar complex that was just massive. It's over off Plymouth Road on the east side of Ann Arbor, just before US-23 on North Campus, just off U of M. North Campus U of M. Anyway, lo and behold, they stopped everything. Action site, another $100 million complex. Turned around, brought the bulldozers in down and buried everything. And told everybody, hey, you know what that special envelope we just got? It's a pink flip! Guess what? We don't need you. We're goodbye, we're all gone. And of course, Pfizer literally, you know, DD the AO here and left Michigan. I and all these ring knocking thieves like we've tried to explain before, everybody thought they had their deal. The Shysters, of course, this petty fish, Granholm. was standing there almost in tears, you know, well you're right, guess what? Just like she said, everybody's getting blown away. You're all these people in Ann Arbor who thought they're, you know, Ann Arbor's like the garden spot of the Midwest. Back in the Depression, in the 29th Depression, Ann Arbor, at least some people worked, and because of it, there was some mechanism whereby, you know, things actually operated. You know, it's interesting for us. The size of the town, it actually had some influence. Well, This time around it got smacked like a bad puppy, left, right, up and down. Of course, who had 200,000, $150,000, $100,000 a year jobs, now all of a sudden had no jobs. We got people here down the road from where we live that were just imported. Of course, they came over from Pakistan or India and in China and they're high and dry. They said, well thank you for being here, great idea, got you over here, uh yeah, spend a lot of money, hey you bought a new house, eh? $300,000 home? Well too bad, you're fired, bye. But we had a deal done, we had a deal! Yeah, a deal only exists when there are two sides and there never was one with this operation, but... Well, you know where these two... and you know, it's... I've had talks with them, if you talk with some of them and you try to bait them into particular, much like luring a tank to a particular place, you can split things up and... Mark is that... to phrase here on you and hope that we can exactly what's been going on in America for a little while for a long time. Mark and Don, the intelligence report, we'll be right back. News politics cover-ups government corruption you're listening to we the people radio network WTPRN. Hi you guys that's Poker Face go to PokerFace.com get some of that But I want to run back into this thought line here you guys and we've got George Florida waiting in the wings Oh Ford if you watch Ford stocks for $50 the company's almost criminal too But before Mark GM builds more Buick more Buick's in China as here in America. Deep years ago we talked about. But I would never buy, I have never touched or even thought about the idea of getting anybody a Mexican beer for that reason. Knowing what we know about the attitude of a lot of the people there and the characters that have come up to make this as LAMBS, imagine them knowing that they're dumping that stuff on the American market, what they could do to it, and you really should think about that when you're drinking the next of those Mexican beers. We ain't talking high quality. We're talking a bargain basement. Kind of like an excuse me, but this was the actual term. I don't know if you guys remember this from Vietnam, Tiger Piss. Okay, that stuff was... everybody knew. There's not anybody... it's collectible now, by the way. If anybody's got any of those cans left around from the Vietnam era, those things are worth a small fortune as a collector's item. Of course, God help you if you open the thing. Same thing, if you really... if you think about Corona or any of these other beers that are made south of the border, it'd be one thing if I were looking at like... the Colorado cooler that came from across the country and remember they were you know they had that thing restricted because they didn't want to get outside of the you know the region be a big thing back in the seventies to run out there grab a whole carload and make your way back here to Michigan or make your way back to Ohio with it and sell it to all these people who wanted it so you can make a fortune it was almost like the old moon shining days but it was with Coors beer now on the other hand I never heard anybody running down a minute I got some corona beer hey that's got a clear bottle right Yeah, well the clear beer bottles are brown for a reason so they kind of help to protect what's inside Well you clear bottles they don't last as long and not only that it's from Mexico. What's in it? Oh, I don't know it looks like it's got a strange color though Okay, I'll tell you you keep the corona beer. Where's that clear stuff again? Building a beer there brought their instance the creator of like motor company or cores or they're in order that it gains the communism What is that to turn your back on the nation of litter and you think you're in a deal. I'm gonna be more than happy to do that. I'm here with a widget to save labor. they got the market under control and i want to remember i can i came out of a time warp so to speak is you know uh... i've been yeah we come back out of the flight k exactly what we talked about him looking at the quality of the lack of quality of the tools and uh... it's like okay guys the very thing that happened uh... we know we expect to happen did they undercut the market drove out a lot of the american companies that were the middle companies and uh... the low end which was still pretty good quality across the world most people expected it What happened is these Chinese products cut out the bottom of the of the of the market destroyed these companies and now they're not ten cents anymore They're charging you on the shelf for China Sport and for China products what you were paying for a midline American product ten years ago or six years ago and You know seven years ago or whatever. You know, they I just was It's like I'm looking at, I actually said this a couple times at Harvard, I said, do we have anything in an American product in this particular thing? I joke with them, but I'm not joking and they know it. Because they don't know what to say. These kids are like, oh, look at the book. And you know, it used to be you could go to hardware, pull open a book, and there'd be about 20 different companies producing a product. They were all mid-sized or smaller companies, but they had their niche. Those companies are all dead. They're all gone. I do this constantly with them. I'll give you an example. Plastics and molded items. If you want to make something like, say, special downspouts or if I've done, only in this area, we're in Long Beach Harbor, we do modeling projects for industrial use. And Don, it used to be, you name it, it was there. You could go into the hardware books, and even if they didn't have it on the shelf, here's all these myriad of American companies that produced like different forms of plastic, like tubing, piping, in different shapes, different sizes, different materials. They're all gone. Yeah, they're gone gone. I mean like there's like well, we don't know it's okay. Wait a minute. Okay. I'll tell you what let's be creative Let's look in the drain pipe for for instance for poses for outside plastic. Maybe they've done that maybe they've gone over that way Nope, I'm gonna write down the list looking at all these different items because there's looking at you know It working on certain projects for scaling it for a model for somebody for a little industrial project They're doing just as a sidebar and I know I could I've done this stuff before over the years It's little things that I've done is you know to help out people with their companies And this is in the last several months. I've done this several times in the hardware. Well, I started doing this intentionally and found out, I mean, literally I walked over to them and I said, let me look, you know, let's go through the book together. And they've got like a general utility hardware book and all these companies are gone. And these guys, these companies, some of them used to be just down the road. They were a small factory, maybe had a couple hundred employees. And they did stuff that went all over the United States and they worked with all of the industry, you know, like in their niche. They're gone. You can't find there's no comparable American counterpart, but here's the kicker. Once they were put under, the Japanese or the Chinese or the Indonesians aren't bringing their counterpart product into the United States. They have killed it so they can kill that part of the Exactly. Well, you know, it's like we... Now here's the thing, you know, we're talking about Forge Docs. This is off the wall, but it's not because we did this with CBS guys. Most of you don't know the history of the gun protests across the country over the last 20 years because a lot of it's not covered by the control press. For obvious reasons. They're our enemy. We're going to go to break. We're at the bottom of the hour. This is the intel report. You got Don and Mark. We've got a few callers. And we'll be back in about three minutes here on We the People Radio Network. What are these so-called Republican front-runners for president support? Amnesty for illegal aliens like liberals? Out of control spending like the Democrats? Nation building overseas? Wasn't that Bill Clinton's policy? Flip-flopping on the issues? What's Republican about any of that? The real Republican is Ron Paul. The Republicans are losing because they did not keep their promise to end big government at home and nation building overseas. My record is different. Yes, Ron Paul's record is different. Ron Paul has never voted for a tax increase or an unbalanced budget. Ron Paul voted against amnesty for illegal aliens. PokerFace.com, if you wanna get some of that music, it's a pretty standard run up and you hear the Poker Face go there, gets the country and there's, let's bring George. On up, George. Alright, good afternoon gentlemen. Hey, hey, what's going on? Okay, first of all, I used to work for a major retail change and I could tell you one thing, today's management are scum, because when I ran the store and I had to go train a manager that was so incompetent, you didn't know how to wash a car. These bands, how the corporation structure today is like the employees are displaced and if we can cut hours, if we can get a thousand dollar bonus for saving $200 worth of labor, you know, type of stuff, you know, it's bad and you know, I'm glad I pulled out of that corporation because I see the chicanery. Well, then you're something that this is interesting. There is no management at the middle or upper level anymore and there is no skill or coordination. We have a series of store chains like Meyers here in the Midwest, Meyers, Thrifty Acres, is what's called. It was one of the first of the big combination grocery stores and retail dry goods stores. It's massive. They're big stores. Now all these other super hardware stores and other stores kind of mimic what they started out doing used to be very diversified if you could go in there any hour of the day if you would you couldn't go anywhere else and they had a plumbing division carpentry electrical a little bit everything enough enough to save you if you were in the middle of a project when everybody else was closed well the sons have taken over and the first thing that they did and this is interesting because If you do even if you do have like a an aggressive between employees and management. The upper management knows that you have to have that cadre of lower and middle management well trained and squared away or it doesn't make any difference how much you think you want to save. You've got to have people there that have the interest of the company at heart. Now the way you do that is you make sure that you, again, you create a career track. You have a mutual relationship. It's a contract. You take care of those management people. and they, through a series of progressive training operations or systems that you have in place, policy, maintain the company. And the idea behind the management, as say the lower management, just as NCOs in the Army, their job is to maintain the rank and file. Not to fire, and to throw as many bodies in and run for as much as you can, because that sounds good. On paper, technically it sounds good for a little bit. But there's a trickle-down effect with everything. If you have employees that you're paying an absolute minimal wage to and you don't do anything to support and you basically treat like, you know, the carpet you can right-wipe your feet on, well, they're going to act in reverse. They're just going to see the same kind of reciprocation with regard to the performance level or loyalty to the company. Now, the interesting thing is, Meyers is probably the best example here in Michigan. They came in and fired all of their lower management. These are people who had retirement mechanisms in place. These are people who had worked for 10, 12, 15, some of them 20, and some of them even 30 years, almost 30 years, and were ready to retire. They came in and just fired everybody. This is a hodgepodge. And what they did, they started doing with their middle and lower management exactly what they were also doing with the employees. Oh, they got illegals, they got people who don't really like the job, they have no interest in the company, and there's a reflection in the performance and quality of the operation in general. It's more like an epileptic with regard to how the operations are now. Combine that with another thing that to me I think is the biggest joke is they're going to save money. They went to the swipe systems, guys. Everybody, you all see those now, right, with the digital swipe system. For every one of these machines that they have in place, they've got to have a cashier standing there because of all the mistakes the machine makes. Now think about it. Would it make more sense? I mean just common sense for all the gimmicks and all that. And I know why they run these machines in the companies. They run these machines in the companies because somebody gave them some payhole under the table. Somebody gives them some brownie points or some temporary short-term doggy treat so that they'll go, oh yeah, we'll take this over Fred. Fred had his machines in there. They pulled his out. They throw the other guys in. Well then all of a sudden, oscar or joe or whoever is who do who paid them off for the new machines guess what there's another company from chalbino dai a china and they come in and they do the exact same thing and all of a sudden the other shicers out now there's no coordination to this there's no intelligence to it the quality of the product is non-existent and i'm talking about like that the machines for scanning exactly what expected to see happen happen and uh... because of this for instance This management company did that first with the firing. 2,500 people in the first round of firing. I've just got the numbers right here. My hand passed to me. 2,500 managers in the first round of firing. And some of these were regular employees, too, that were just like, you know, regular people worked in the delis. Yeah, all this is the management numbers. 2,500, then 1,500, then 500 in the third round. What this did is it gutted the core of the mechanism that actually made their company run. Yeah, he destroyed the flower and instead of an end instead of an end his was comical and George You know this is what's happened with all these businesses Instead of an invading army coming in and taking over the company and then you know doing an unfriendly destruction You know like take over or at least like an unfriendly attack like a war These idiots walked out and blew their own brains out That you know they didn't blow their toe off like some of the guys used to do with you know Like you always see in the movies a guy's aiming for his big toe with a grand and he's thinking about you know That's his way of getting home These guys didn't blow their toe off. They blew their, they blew each toe off one at a time and then couldn't understand why they can't, they don't have any balance and can't walk. That's how stupid they are. Well, you know, the thing is these big CEOs are making about a thousand times higher than the company. You know, the thing is I've walked into one of them. You know, I said, you guys forget one thing. Your employees are also your customers and you are going to implode one of these days because you forgot that. Well, it's exactly what's happening. Well, my thing about it is they're not so much even just customers, but you've got to remember, the Japanese go the other way. Now, of course, they expect extreme loyalty. Ford does this. I know I can connect with people. Ford, in the 70s and 80s at least, they started to do kind of like what the Japanese did. For instance, they give you Ford Motor Company socks to wear. Does anybody know this about management with Ford? You ever heard about that George? No I haven't. Yeah, they give them Ford Motor Company socks and it was mandatory that they wear them. Little Ford Motor Company from Oco, you know, symbols on the socks and this is part of the you will conform to this project. Now they were more worried about socks than they were about quality and operation. and there's a problem with that okay symbolism is nice supporting the industry is the is a good thing of loyalty is it can be issued be developed but you gotta remember that it has to be a two-way channel in order for it to work now that the guy who created myers actually knew this the man built his business up by understanding how to treat his customers and understood the concept of what a customer wanted, what the people wanted. The next generation and the corporate takeover takes place. In fact, the father's not dead yet. What's happened is he's still alive and the sons have it, and the sons are absolute incompetence. And all they're waiting to do is basically gut the company and sell it off. In the meantime, another American business that had actually thrived and developed and prospered, going through the floor. And again, no planning, no coordination. lack of skill, lack of performance, it takes forever. People even think about it, they actually just trudge along with it. I watch the environment, the things that are going on. And I used to work at a grocery store. When I went to college, I worked at a grocery store. I worked at a pecans at the end of high school, when I was in high school, and then I went into college. I worked for Kroger's. You know, they had timing systems where people came in with cartloads of groceries, people, you know, the big deep carts, and they expected so many customers through there in so many minutes, and it was all done manually with a human being running the machine. And a joke, you and I could, yeah, I could, well, actually, I could take the average eight-year-old, get them to basically work an adding machine, and they could do it faster. But people are so conditioned to this, and I'm watching them, it's like, This thing is as slow as molasses. The thing doesn't work right about one quarter of the time. That's not an exaggeration. And people are like, oh, but it's so new and so modern. It's like it doesn't work. The lack of skill is the issue here too, is that their logic is that they're going to be able to throw another person in and they won't make any difference who they are. My problem with that is, once again, looking at the attitude, the way people perform amongst the customers. Now they're not totally degraded. I mean, like, oh, they're dejected, like, you know, debt downtrodden. but there's not the energy there there's not the coldly the the syncopation between even the customer and that the first person that has to make contact with the customer and this is a reflection of the overall problem with what happened with our society It's like, even the idea of actually, you know, like again, people are getting the socialist trudge with the way they move around when they're in public around people. Don't look too fly, don't look too much at people, don't talk to people, stay sucked in, stay closed. You know, the clamshell routine you saw in Eastern Europe where the communists were in charge, you know, like the communists that are taking charge here in the US today which are creating the same effect. This is We The People Radio Network. pulled him real tight and I looked at his eyes and his eyes started blinking rapidly and you could tell that guy's lying through his teeth That's the kind of stuff you look at when you look at it. Well, now the blink part, you've got to be aware of because you see one of the things that is happening, and there's games being played by the ring knockers all over the place. I'll give you an example. What I mentioned before, when you see an interview, remember the other side knows that they've tweaked things. They condition people that they plant seeds to make people think that way. What they'll do is they have a board operator who runs the lighting. and they zero and target each workstation out there that you know like say where you have a speaker or let's say that you interview a person what they will do is they will start turning up and they're heat lamps I mean first of all how many people out there have been on a stage in front of any kind of lights in the past like in high school you know Oh yeah, they're focused, they're focused lamps because they're of course putting on a lot of light to illuminate the theater state, to create the theater effect so that you have a haloing effect around the characters to focus on them on a stage. Well the same thing happens with the lighting that they use, obviously, on a television set. And what they will do is, and I had this happen to me several times, we knew the racket, I was just ready for it and they got really frustrated. Nancy can attest to this. I did an interview here right after the Oklahoma City bombing. We wouldn't do anything with anybody. They were so frustrated. The press was camped out in mass and they couldn't find us, of course. There's a whole story on that. But anyway, finally we waited until it was our time. We chose when to do this. and the arrangement was was supposed to be live and we knew that the scurrilous scum were going to do will lie every step of the way it was supposed to be a live interview well they bring the camera truck out they pick a location with a restaurant here in town my problem is this you don't have to tweak the lighting Once you have your set in place, the cameras get set up, they do a light test, they do a sound test, they do their double feeds to and back to the network. Then what they do is, once you've got the light set and you've got the person being interviewed on the chair or sitting at the stool or whatever, and they're all set up for their sound, you don't have to change lighting again, it's there. Well, there's always an... I'll warn everybody now, if you have a light board person, he's sitting at that board and he's tweaking, he's got these big rheostats that he's turning the dials on, what he's doing is he's turning up the output on the light to try and dry you out to create a physical response that normally people don't think about. That's the day you got to do tomorrow. Huh? I was talking to... Oh, well, okay. George, you got to remember, you got a radio. Anyway, I'll tell you what, the whole point is that when they were doing this, progressively the guy was tweaking the lighting up and tweaking the lighting up and you could see him getting frustrated because I wasn't responding. If anybody remembers, this is the Sam Donaldson interview. Oh, that's right, get on. If you go into the Internet and you see that Sam Donaldson interview that's on the Internet right now, it's been put up several places recently. What's funny is I ended up with a sunburn by the end of that. They had they kept turning the light up turning that he kept turning up turning up and one of the things they want you to do is start blinking for the very thing that you mentioned George Well if a person's blinking a lot they must be lying now that doesn't mean mr. McCain wasn't lying because that's actually that was probably working with him But they intentionally engineer. They try to get you to fidget. They want to get you to move. People get uncomfortable because they're not properly dressed. You know, they're dressed for, say, the environments. Michigan here, it's winter, it's cold. You wear a heavier wool suit. You go into a studio. Now you're not prepped. They start turning up the heat with a heat lamp, so to speak. Now all of a sudden, you're getting sweaty. You're getting uncomfortable. On top of that, your eyes are drying out. You start to blink more. They're trying to get anything they can get to create this, oh, he's fidgeting thing, or he's... he's he's agitated he must not be telling the truth or all that bastard within reality it's all been engineered or your career let you go to that i think we have other callers to about mark thank you and they've really points up and record if you don't hear real quick uh... one of the things about it done is that in this this particular sam donelson piece I already knew the basic racket and scam was. It was supposed to be a live interview, then they said, oh, it's going to be a live interaction with Sam Donaldson. But, oh, we just can't get the satellite hookup properly, which is nonsense. It was already set up. We understood the technology. We didn't understand. We do it every day. We've done television and radio. Don, you know this. You've been up on the radio with us how many times? We know how the system works. So anyway, the interesting thing is it came down to finally that all they had to tape it, and they know it was being taped and delayed. They only had a few hours to try and cobble and chop it up. So when you watch the Sam Donaldson interview, it's on YouTube in several places, it's up on Google Video in places. Understand that that was supposed to be, and everybody swears that it was a live interview. When in reality, it was like, Nancy, what was the full duration on the interview itself? Yeah, as far as on the air goes. Yeah, it was about 13 minutes on the air, but the price is cute is that was better than about 45 to 50 minutes worth of interview and everybody goes well You mean they you mean they cobbled that and they say yeah understand this that's the that's the worst that they could do with what they had and they were Frustrated to know when it in fact what they did is they intentionally left in now think about if you're gonna edit something out when you edit this out Where I actually coughed off to the side I cover my face. I always do this just automatic. I mean it's polite I was raised I covered my face and I coughed and I coughed off to the side. They left that in. It's the only thing they could do because again, the idea is command and control your body. Now, that doesn't mean there wasn't something else going on with the electronics here because there's some other stuff that we know about technology too that has been in question. But the thing is that I came out of there, I literally was beat red. i should have put some uh... you know some sunscreen on before i get out in front of the lighting for that thing and again we selected for a reason we selected interviews not because i didn't need to get from the camera don't give a whole about a b cn b cn b cn b cn b cn c bs and stick it up behind them when we do it we've done interviews in the past it so we can find out what questions they want to ask which tells us where they're going to we use that as an intelligence collection opportunity because they're not talking down their own they don't come up with their own questions The agenda from the racketeers at the other end has been given to them. They throw in a few pap questions here and there or some other popcorn. And they always try to do a series of stage questions like two different blocks of interviews so that they can ask the basics, then do the setup questions, and then cobble the whole thing and fabricate it into something nothing like what the interview, nothing like the way the interview went. So yes, the Sam Donald's interview looked good, but remember that is not a live interview that didn't go out like when you saw on television. that wasn't live it was actually canned and cobbled and they couldn't do anything with the interview now i will say this to all of you listening because we may not get a chance to say it to you privately repeat repeat repeat if you're in front of a camera you don't don't don't let them direct you you direct the conversation constantly reinforce what it is you stand for and one of the things that i've said repeat the constitution the bill of rights united states work it into the conversation every way you can are enemies hate constitution of the bill of rights of the united states are enemies hate our liberty they really do they hate the idea that we are thinking that we're competent and we're capable of running our own lives no we're talking about the parasitic scum socialist that are in this country right now that are betraying this nation every step of the way and join the opportunity they're going to do even worse yeah they say that the thing is when you're in when again you may get in a situation where you're stuck in front of a camera for whatever reason because they're trying to do a smear job. Just remember, first of all, control yourself. Take command of your body. It's just like a battlefield situation. First of all, understand breathing is everything. Control your breathing. Take command of your body. Arrest any of the nervousness by focusing on any particular, whatever it is that works for you that softens your vision, so to speak. because it is very important that you stay focused on. In fact, if need be, just repeat over and over again the basic theme that you know is the core of what you are standing for, you believe in. I don't say just repeat it like a typewriter. I'm talking about as you're talking, you reinforce and repeat the subject matter that is the heart of what it is that you stand for. I'm abbreviating because I could go more into detail, but the basic rule is, like I said, Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence. liberty our freedom mutual liberty of all of us as americans that's what we stand for fear the militia in the patriot effort working for ron paul ron paul has got this down because he is he he understands he's and he's absolutely right about it too suppose that we're all standing for what have to be repeated over again and again and again they're going to try and deviate it they're going to try and sidetrack things they're going to try and downplay what you stand for for obvious reasons because it's a foundation of rock down that's their biggest fear is that they realize that you are outstanding on a foundation of rock not a not a not a sandy field of slippage where they can pull a little bit off and then you start to stumble and eventually got you on your knees and they use a club on your head so that's what they're there for there's nobody in the press that is there as your friend now their mission like a salesman is to lie to you so they can get you set up for a sucker punch so they know how to be friendly or try to be nice. My favorite line, Don, don't you just want to get your side of the story out? Yeah, I do. That's why we do our own radio. Stick it. Anyway, I'll tell you what, we're at the top of the hour and it's Friday, so please be careful out there. Don, thank you for being up. Thank you, Mark. God bless you. God bless the Republic. Death to the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We are on the march, both day and night. Six bad ants chasing down the road, give them a backpack full of rocks. Let them swim back to the bad guys and the sharks will eat well. Thank you, Doc. Or a shark. Oh, yeah. Ooh. Dark, greasy, oily meat. Yeah. OK. Bye-bye. Good night. Now we'll be back in six minutes here with a second on. Yeah. Jammer that flare. Because I know you can work on that. That'll give you 15 minutes. On September 1st, Vote Rescue and our coalition, Texans for Real Elections, conducted an exit poll at the Texas straw poll in Fort Worth. With almost a 25% respondent rate, we found a discrepancy in one candidate's results, Ron Pauls. We are planning exit polls for the primary and presidential elections in 2008. This is a fun and exciting process in exercising our rights as citizens. Join us as a volunteer with Vote Rescue to monitor those elections and remind the government that elections belong to the people. Become a part of the growing movement to restore elections to the citizens with hand-counted paper ballots. We are winning exciting progresses being made, but we need your help.
