Mark Koernke discussed militia organization and training, emphasizing that small five-person fire teams form the foundation of militia units and that individual training and discipline matter more than high-tech weapons systems. He covered preparedness topics including vehicle emergency kits, gas masks, ammunition storage using surplus mortar tubes, and firearm carry systems. Koernke addressed the veterans disarmament act, urging veterans to listen to an archived interview with Larry Pratt about efforts to disarm American military veterans. He also discussed the dangers of unchecked democracy versus constitutional republic protections, drawing historical parallels to Weimar Germany and the rise of fascism, with caller Lee from Texas contributing perspectives on financing of historical regimes.
I had a dream the other night that, well I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave. In this the land of the free. in home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, in home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money is spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic in each God-given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished and missed for once he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God-given right, we only watched him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, to dill the land of the free? This is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I'm Mark Cornke, one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on and behind the lines in occupied territories, south, southwest, central. And ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on We the People Radio Network at wtprn.com. That's we the people radio network, wtprn.com. And you'll find us on libertytreeradio.4mg.com. We're also on AM&FM major stations, AM&FM micro stations, and CV base stations east and west of the Mississippi. We're also on alternate. This will be on Spike 6 and Spike 9 for test today, for this hour. And we'll say hi again to our friends, all the girls and guys down there in southern Georgia, the panhandle of Florida, and over in southern South Carolina, who are working on the alternate project today. setting up a new line, a new series of systems so that we have a replacement for the internet once, of course, they try to destroy it the rest of the way. At one point, they'll try to control it. Guys, we've got to be ready in the next step out and ahead. We're working on it right now. All these people are doing great work from Iowa to Washington State, Maine to Florida, down into Arizona and Southern California and all other places across the country. We have another system in place. And I want to say congratulations and thank you. all of these young techs who are doing a fantastic job of getting the system up and online just half a century old. Everybody's doing their part and I want to say thank you because it's a lot of work. We're stretched in 50 different directions at once. There's no single project we're perfect at, but we're keeping the supply system running. Oh, but unfortunately it's working till 3, 4 in the morning, boxing stuff up and shipping things and moving things and still getting all the editing done. I'm running two or three different systems at the same time, usually watching videos that we're monitoring the file footage. We're editing some of the new tapes. Still got to get, of course, a lot of the book work done. And we're physically getting a lot of the other support and preparation equipment and systems up and online, which are essential. It's a nonstop, I would say, ball of fur, like a flying fiasco with a couple of cats and kittens playing as they are. That's almost what it reminds me of because the paws are going in all directions at once. But we're getting it done and it's because of a lot of these people who are picking up the weight and are actually helping and I appreciate that. And on the next step, we've got another Virginia and North Carolina project that's going to be up with the alternate. And we're talking more because you know what people were so heavily entrenched with this now and it's working so well. that we're going to be able to progressively expand on this system and you're going to be free. That is my goal. Every way we can, we're finding a way to embrace our freedom and enjoy our list really that that's what it's all about. Leaving the bad guys behind. In fact, eventually dusting off your cloaks and dusting off your sandals and getting on down the road. Now all kinds of the things are happening, by the way, and there's a party on the beach. Tomorrow, tomorrow is the 12th of January. Party on the beach. 5 p.m. on so everybody out there listening pass forward pass the word on you got a friend that's gonna be coming along that's fine make sure that you square everything away and if you've got any questions or anything that needs to be taken care of on the list of things to do make sure you write it down now because we're gonna be working hard to get a lot done there's projects going on all over the Midwest militia is has got a special exercise going on get qualify and train another for the Indiana militia airborne units that are out there. They only graduate about 24 to 36 people in each one of the classes. We only have so many aircraft and so much space guys. But the airborne school takes about 28 weeks. Now again, they have to catch as catch can. So you got to remember they're doing this on the weekends and they have classes during the week. But the militia airborne core that has been developed because of this but the airborne qualified personnel has continued to grow and we're building up the cadres and training personnel to expand into the other militia units around the country. This has happened with the Iowa units out west to the Mississippi, it's not way, way out west. And of course the second and third, western end of Michigan and has been there for quite some time. It's a long tradition. These people are working together and cooperating so that we're inventing resources from certain pockets of stuff that we've found. We're not wasting time and we're not wasting our people's well-hard-earned money, which is most important in here. So the guys are coordinating, fuel being the biggest expense. Meanwhile, the Ohio militia, want to say hi to everybody there, virtually every county of Ohio has an active militia formation. and they have been growing on a regular basis. They had some tooting problems years ago. Part of this was because there were, of course, different ideas that were plugged in. Well, that's all changed, and of course, everybody's pretty well on the same song sheet. There are still lots of independent people out there. Keep that up. We want as many different routes to the same solution as possible. Many hands make for light work. Many ideas make for operational security and safety. have when we have many different solutions, we are not predictable. Let's put it this way. Talking about militia organization and militia operations, some people say, well, I'd like to join a bigger militia. Well, let me point this out. You have five people that you know, four people. It will count you. You're number five, OK? But you have four people you know that you've known for a long time. They're of like mind. You've been talking to them for quite some time. They're thinking, well, we ought to go join somebody. People, five men are a fire team. You already have a militia. A five-man fire team is the building block. Well, first, the man himself, the individual, is the building block for a militia formation of any kind, via a fire team or a division of 16,000 men, okay? And all the numbers in between, depending on formation size and whatever title you've given. The man and the fire team and then the squad are the building blocks for all military formations. So you know four other people. I'll tell you what, you organize with them, you take a look at the research that's already been done and the information that's already available, you pick a direction for how you want to organize, and you do it. And you do it amongst the five of you. Now those five men, that fire team, organize exactly as described in whatever manual you pick, and then you've got the basic component prep. I'll tell you what, you guys between the five of you have five other men and or women that you know that are confident, that are capable, and you trust them. You've known them all your lives. You went to school with them. You've grown up with them. Some of them are relatives or can be relatives. And so you develop another five-man squad, or I'm sorry, five-man fire team. Now between the two of you, between the two fire teams, you have a complete squad of 10 individuals. Those two five-man fire teams can be placed anywhere with another squad, okay, to make up or another three squads of any formation type. to make up a platoon. You just do not concentrate on the lower end construction elements, the building blocks, the foundation. Now the man, the individual himself, is the first and foremost important brick in the wall, as they say. The mortar is the training between the different elements that in the long process build up the foundational mechanism that creates an army, that creates a militia, that creates a defensive force that can intercooperate. Now, most people are seeing they've been so conditioned or mesmerized by technology, they forget that these basic components are what win wars. All the rest is support. They're not the weapon system, they're not the cutting edge, even the airfoil. We're going to bomb them into the submission, into submission, this, that, and the other. It comes down to this people, boots on the ground, as they say. It's the individual that fights the conflict. When it comes to national defense and protecting America both from enemies from within, the traitor is scum socialists that are trying to destroy the nation, or enemies from without, foreign forces and socialists scum they're trying to bring in to support the socialist scum here in America that are trying to destroy our liberty, well either way, it's the job of the infantryman, the militia man, to get the job done, be he high-tech or low-tech. Now, low tech, almost always. Low tech with high tech integration almost always wins out. It may take a little longer, but always wins out because it costs a lot of money to create the special tech. The countermeasure is always pennies on the dollar for what development took place to create the system. The defense or the countermeasure is almost always pennies. Now, the idea, half of what this new technology is based on is psycho babble. And he's got a lot of foolish people that have bought into this. It assured me all this thing works and it worked perfectly first time every time. I know it did because the government and the media would never lie to me. The numbers are worse, it's about 92%. And then people will tell me, I saw an A&E, or I saw a Discovery, or I saw, they're propaganda machines, people. It's kind of like, you know, like popular mechanics. They're a propaganda mouthpiece. How many times have you seen flying cars for the future? Boy, it's just around the corner, and here's Fred Schmidlaff with his, oh, and then a little fine print, mock-up of vehicle that's proposed. Technology not available. Okay. In weapons systems, they always do the same thing. They throw out that this is what's coming up next. Of course, then it doesn't show up. Or, yeah, they spent billions of dollars on the research project, but it never ends up out on the field. Some projects, on the other hand, you wish never did. The answer to a question that was never asked, adding more plumbing to something you should never have had the plumbing added, the new Osprey, the new marine transport vehicle that starts out as a twin-rotor helicopter that then inverts the propeller, the thrust system, horizontally and works like a plane, except that it's got these massive props that if anything happens to them, okay, they took helicopter rotors and turned them sideways. way to describe it. People, have you ever thought about something with that? If there was a malfunction with that aircraft once in horizontal flight, how are you going to land that thing safely? Would you want to be the crew on board when they find out they're going into a terminal belly landing? Because if you've ever been in a helicopter that's gone down, it's dangerous enough as it is because those rotors, they beat the air into submission. When there's a malfunction, they beat the snot out of the crew and the people on board, if not just plain chop them to death. and then they flop out of the sky like a rock. Now we've already had a number of crashes with this aircraft, but here's the thing, anything and everything that hits that aircraft means it's going to die. It's become so grossly over complicated, it is totally reversed than what they originally proposed, which was to use jet thrust or turbofans. Instead, they're using helicopter rotor blades to move the aircraft through the air horizontally. If the hydraulics or the system were to fail in place, how would you bring that aircraft safely? How if you, and I want a pilot to explain this to me, no matter what you come up with, those rotors, well, let me give you an example. Have you ever seen a plain belly end that has conveyor props? What happens with the props is it strikes the ground. They have a tendency to curb or cavitate into the aircraft. Now you do the math and take a look at the way that little thing is set up when those big old most big old helicopter fans are sitting there perpendicular to the ground That's gonna be real embarrassing when it hits Know what I mean? So the old policy of if it flies it dies I don't want to be in that when somebody starts dumping anything from 30 caliber to you know to 308 NATO rounds to 50 caliber to whatever into it It ain't coming down pretty and everybody on board. Well, you might as well have a drink and toast cuz well we ain't coming back Anyway, I'll tell you what, just ideas, looking at things here, lots of projects. We got callers already, so when we come back, we're going to take calls. This is the intel report. It's Friday. We'll be back in a minute. And my fellow American sons of the world. Here where I am in this part of Michigan, we don't have any snow on the ground at all. We're trying to get some other work done outside while we can. Rare opportunity doesn't happen long and it doesn't last long. We get these little dries in here. It's just that it's Michigan weather way. It's been for years. We'll get a lot of snow. We get a quick melt, then all of a sudden we get buried. The next wave is going to be terrible. So we've got to be ready for that before it happens. Floyd, everything out of the way that you might run into with your feet, trying to plow through that 12 or 13 or 15 inches when it comes. I forgot that cement block was there. You know, again, prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance. You got to think ahead. That is also true with regard to everything else we're talking about here with operations. Now we know the veterans disarmament act has passed. We know that the, uh, president of Mexico, where gay Bush has signed it, but that's all part of this North American union BS guys. They've got to attack the American Patriot, especially the men in the military who have fought for the United States. traders are in washington fear the american page that's why this legislation has been passed you men who are listening out there were put your hand up and sort of it to protect and defend the constitution bill of rights of the united states you are americans based upon principles of defending that country you have traders in washington who are going to undermine in betray virtually everything that has to do with what you swore to protect and defend penny waste that you were talking about, the Dick Cheney chicken-hawk wannabe, okay, who would not, you know, couldn't, they did everything they could to defer to stay away from the uniform or to hide wherever they could during Vietnam, while they, you know, all got propped up and are really great about sending somebody else's son or daughter off to war. Even the, especially my favorite is the Clintanistas, what a bunch of hypocrites. They're the worst of the bunch for this. of course are all puffed up, you know, and flip-flopping back and forth. We know what the rubber lip, you know, Hillary the hutch, Chabad hutch, younger sister. We all know what's going on here. Sam of Amadindong, same thing. Gulliani, well, he's just a nutcase anyway, of course, cross-dressing quadriplegic homosexual Eskimo who's looking for a red light somewhere in New York to stand under. But the whole bunch, all CFR people, they have a very specific and sick agenda that's designed to attack all form of our form of government but also our liberties, our system. The protections that we have had in place, they are undermining. They are dishonorable. For you veterans out there, you need to spread the word. I would ask again, and we're going to take call here in a second by the way, so guys be patient, to ask you all to spread the word by going back into the archives of We the People Radio Network. We had Larry Pred up on Wednesday, which would be the 9th. At 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., we had Larry Pred up for one hour. That single hour spelled it out for the veterans. Now Larry works in the beltway, and I don't have to paraphrase him. All you guys, you have to go to the archives and listen to what he said. The agenda was to, and still is, to disarm all. Listen to what he said there. The attitude, the conversations that are going on in Washington, the agenda is to disarm all American veterans. Now he's hearing this firsthand and he's a firsthand witness and I prefer the listen to him so here again go to the January 9th 5 to 6 p.m. Intelligence report that's in this the first hour on the archive for We The People Radio Network. We ask that you pull it down and make a copy and I ask that you make many copies and give this to the VFW, give this the American Legion, give this to every friend that you have that has been in uniform. Now, you ask them to watch it. If they don't or they make some comment for the CD, ask for the DVD back. And I mean, serious, I mean, be it that way, you say, you're not going to listen to it? Oh, I don't know. Okay, well, thank you. I need this back. Okay, dust your cloak off, dust your shoes off, and go on down the road, because there's other people that will listen, and you have no time to waste. If somebody else is going to get caught flat-footed, you've taken care of your responsibilities to that person if they're a friend or an acquaintance or whatever. And you've got to get on down the road because you have other good friends and allies and people that are waiting that don't know yet what's happening, but they know something's happening. You've got to get to as many people as you can because we're in a race. Now, there's good men and women out there that when you contact them, they're going to respond, not react, respond, and they're going to get motivated. We need our ranks to continue to grow. They're growing in leaps and bounds. I do have to say this. I've had militia commanders who are complaining, we've had too many people to take care of. We can't process everybody. Well, I tell you what, I'm going to say something. I told you so. Okay. Now I sound a little tiring after a while. You got to expect that you're going to, you've got to have your cadre. You've got to have your, your G3 or your S3 training officers in place, ready to bring in and integrate all of these people. You're going to have to have your trainers in place because some people are just not up to speed and some people say, oh, we don't have time for that. You do have time for that. You must have time for that. We have a lot of good people who need help. They are there looking for answers. Now you all lamented about where is everybody? Well, now everybody's showing up and you're thinking, well, it looks like work. Well, that's right. It's a W O R K word. We're swamped here at this end. I spend sometimes two days nonstop. The sleep I catch is in between the programs here maybe by an hour. Other than that, we're taking care of supply and support and we're spreading stuff everywhere we can. We're trying to do as much as we can to generate more material information for people to use. That's one of the reasons we're doing these YouTube videos that are on the little supply and support systems like how to put together load-bearing equipment. They're bridging information, bridging information so that people don't have to guess. Because that is the most common problem is that people are trying to fudge things together. We're coming up with a solution for you people. We're trying to do what we can't. But there's not enough hours in the day. Well, to make it happen and to make it work better, we need all of you to pitch in to get this done. And it will make a difference. It does make a difference. I can't see. Every place I'm going, I've got people coming up constantly that, you know, oh, Mr. Kornke, we remember you. Or, hi Mark, oh, it was terrible. You know, that's the person who says terrible, what happened? Okay, well that's passed. You know, you were right. But you know, we need to get weapons, or we need to get ammunition, or we need to, where do we go? What do we do? I say, well, the best I can say now is get what you can, where you can. We'll, again, listen to the program, we'll provide direction. But you people you're gonna have to start improvising now you're gonna start looking around and looking at all the little you know corners and Closets to get what you need because a lot of the stuff is just simply drying up. It's been cut off already They hope to catch you flat-footed We got ahead of the wave on this we're riding on the wave so that you people are able to get what you can before things get choked off completely But you got to keep up with the schedule you got to keep working at it And we're getting like I said, we're swamped but guess what we're gonna keep plugging away. We're gonna do what we can okay? Anyway, we got callers and we have... hold on here a second, let me make sure I get that right. Uh oh, monitor. I think we have Lee from Texas. Lee, jump in there please. Lee from Texas. Mark, can you hear me? We got you Lee, go right ahead. Um, yeah, dong, it was interesting that he picked the company that made all of Hitler's half-tax, by the way. Did you ever read who financed Hitler? I'm sorry, who financed? Yes, we've got some mini-text on the subject. A lot of them, you know, I'm a book collector. There's a lot of stuff that I have that's from the period. And yes, you've got most of the, many of the American banks right out of New York. You've got the Warburgs again tied into this. There was a book from... Go ahead, go ahead, keep right going, please. There was a book called New Finance Shiller from like 1979. And the thing I talk about with his meeting, Industrial Club in 22, but you know, he essentially equated with communism, kind of an attitude of the corporations today. Stay right there, we're going to talk about that because there's a thing to consider here. Remember, we are a limited constitutional republic which creates special protections that didn't exist in the Weimar Republic and don't exist in other environments where there's the democracy issue in its purest form. We'll be right back because this is a good conversation issue. This is the Intel report. We'll be back in three minutes with We the People with Radio Network. Broadcast live from 11am to 2pm Central, Monday through Friday, right here on We The People Radio Network. And ladies and gentlemen, we are back. This is the intel report live, and it is Friday, so again be careful on the road, it's getting darker out there for you who are on the coast. I know you still got a little bit of light, but you know how it is. It gets darker in the middle of the winter here. You know what, again, Lee, the interesting thing, there's an old term that was used by people who were tweaking my ear years ago. He said, there's a demon in democracy. One gentleman said this in passing to me late in the wee hours when we were on a pick and talk, which was a command and control center. And of course, that starts a conversation right away. Well, what do you mean by that? He goes, well, let me ask you about democracy. If we want pure democracy, isn't that a lynch mob? A lynch mob is an absolute democracy where everybody gets a chance to vote and there's only one dissenting vote, the man at the end of the rope. That's where we get to the point in the issue that's been discussed about, that I've talked about many times here on the air, that on the one hand we must have, and again we've called our limited republic has, the term we used to use is we're a limited republic with democratic tendencies. The issue of the republic is to keep in check The zealousness of people to vote themselves benefits or to vote somebody else's property away from them. And that's the premise of our repu- both the Confederacy by the way of the Republic. Our system, our Western philosophy is based on the idea of property rights. That we own our time. And I've talked about this many times on the air. The tendencies of the democracies literally become the Soviet, they become Soviet democracies. The DDR, for instance, is the best example. Everybody voted, eventually a small clique voted everybody else's property away from them. And progressively as they got more and more property and people were cowed more and more into having their property taken, their businesses, their companies, and we're not talking big companies. The big companies didn't get touched at all. It was the middle companies, the middle class and the entrepreneur end of the upper lower class, which is contrary to what everybody thinks, it really does exist. The ones who were hurt, hit and eventually were put in the camps. It is a problem that even in Germany, the same issue, no matter what they say, the problem is that middle guys and the middle guys got stomped on. The big guys who came in from outside, they all the gravy, they took up all the toast even. I mean, they grabbed all the crumbs. Democracy was part of the problem to a degree, for instance, with what happened in the East, that everybody watched from the West. It has been a danger if it is unbridled. In other words, it's unchecked with the idea that, again, if you can finally vote yourself into the purse, people have a tendency to continue to dip into the purse until there's nothing left. And then, like spoiled children, spoiled two-year-olds will scream and wonder why they just can't vote themselves any more cash. So I think that's partially what most people usually talk about when they discuss the concepts of democracy. Now, the democratic process of us being directly involved in determining who it is that's going to be representing us, if we're going to have a mutual compact or a mutual, what we call a government, a compact of people that come together that are limited in their capacities, that they don't go haywire, we do need the input from the people because it's the people that pay for it. that, you know, the all power, you know, comes from the people and goes out and we can't say up. That's the mistake that's been made because of, again, mental engineering. The pyramid is, in our American system, the pyramid is not a pyramid with the base. The concept originally was that the base, the foundation is in reality also the kind of capstone. all the rest of these public servants and all these public offices, even if they are elected, are subservient to the people. And that's what we're losing because of other interference and alien processes that are involved. In Germany, they never had this foundation to begin with, which is the biggest problem. And you see this in the whole idea that the National Socialist State came about the way it did. But people seem to think it came about in a vacuum. The Weimar Republic absolutely betrayed the German people. uh... i think the best example my favorite one instructor history teacher i think he's gone now he's passed away he used to take his class to europe and walk them through all these locations during the summer if you had the money and uh... the back of the seventies when it's travel overseas was pretty pricey yet to save up and work even harder to be able to go on these two or three discursions And one of the things he pointed out was a whole idea that with Germany, with the Weimar Republic, this rampant money printing that took place and the devaluation of the currency was totally arbitrary and it was designed to gut the middle class and the lower class, which is exactly what you see happening here in the US. Everybody has a thought. I'm sorry. The middle class. Yes, exactly, because, well, the upward mobility issue again. I jokingly call it the executive letter opener, you know what I mean? Well, from 1922 to 1927 is when the power, but again, what you're talking about, yes, what happened is there were, well, okay, let's go back a little bit. In World War I, after World War I and the betrayal of the German establishment, because you've got to remember the Belfort Agreement is the center of this, World War I was an absolute fabrication by the Ringknockers to create, what did they call it? The war to end all wars. Woodrow Wilson initially claimed he wasn't suckered into this. Remember, I'm not going to send American boys over to fight a European war. You can find it. I can take out Collier's illustrated histories from pre-World War I and from the Great War. These are history books that they've purged off the shelves, they've made them disappear because they talk about the politics of the moment. Now they re-engineered that because Colonel House from behind the scenes basically had his hand up Mr. Wilson's arse and had his thumb and fingers move in his mouth. That brought us into the war. From the European end, or from the German end, they were fighting to maintain control over their colonial interests, to maintain control over their market share, and this is where again we get the whole issue of war is nothing more than the extension of conventional economics brought to a physical head and a very messy one. And what happened is they were already trying to figure out how to tweak Germany, milk it the rest of the way. Because when the, what becomes the NSDAP, the National Socialist Party of Germany, what started out as a series of small coalition parties, Hitler was only one finger of. And in 1922, what it is is they were trying to figure out how they could bring somebody in, tweak them and make them their next meat puppet for, you know, to create the opposition. to create the... Exactly. Well, here, my favorite is the two of them. Okay, look who the next one was. Joseph Stalin. And of course, which is on by Scullenbuzz and Harry Lewis, who bought the Zapruder from Holocaust on and on. I'm sorry. I don't mean to digress. Yeah, go right ahead, please. I'm curious, well, I mean, there's a more now question. You mentioned something about a mask, and if I'm guessing right, those in their mask bags don't have a... Well, that isn't, now there's a number of ways, that's a good point. If you have a gas mask, you should have a chem hood or a gas mask hood, but here's the good thing about those. We've been mentioning many times the finished copy of the M9 gas mask. Now there are chem hoods available. In fact, what's funny is there's this bulk pulse of them right now. They are unused in the wrapper, M9A1 chem hoods out there on the market. You want to search for them because they'll be actually, remember how they came in the paper, outer brown paper, inner foil wrapper pockets? That's how the Kim Woods come. They'll be about five inches tall. They'll be about eight inches long to ten inches long depending on what type of paper wrapper they used. They'll be about one inch thick because they're all compressed. And you can't have a military... What was it, nine seconds and then seven to get the head over or something like that? Exactly, yes. Well, number one is what everybody calls a 72-hour kit. You can make what basically is a weatherized version because the biggest problem with keeping it in a car is that the, well of course your temperatures aren't as bad down there, but when you have hot and cold where you warm the car up and you cool it, you end up with condensation issues in the vehicle. So all of your stuff that's in the vehicle should be more heavily weatherized, in other words protected for storage. example, a 72-hour kit, you basically take your pick of backpacks. It can be your primary pack if you want, but I like to build up secondary kits. So, and the backpacks are so cheap, it's ridiculous. So, you take a backpack, set up a 72-hour kit, make sure you have a couple of spare gas masks in there at least, and there's a number of applications for those. I know they recommended not using them for fire protection, but the reason they did that is because of the fact that there are gases not because they know that you have inhalant problems with particulate which creates difficulties with the lungs. That's the first thing I'm worried about. Gases are not protect... gas masks don't protect you from high gases that are generated in fires, which is why they don't want to use it with fire protection. But if you use it, just basically look at it as a respirator to filter larger chunks of stuff you don't want to breathe in. Gas masks still have application under fire conditions, under conventional flame conditions. I'll tell you what, I'm going to continue as we come back from the break. We've got Lee from Texas on right now. We'll be back in three minutes. big mystery to disease anymore. It's a basic tenet of yeast in the gut and metals in the liver. It covers at least 7-8% of the diseases that we see. When we do our program, you know, in Herpyl formylate like Cardivite and you see someone who could barely walk up a hill, now going for regular jobs a few months later, we know we're doing something right. It's a well thought out formula. I mean the idea of it working on yeast and metals both at the same time and liver function is dead on. You'll find, I think, that it'll work more than just on heart problems and circulation problems. It'll work on other problems as well. Okay, and this is the Intel report. We're right back. We got Lee with us on the line here. Lee asks a good question. What should we have in the trunk of the car? Your personal preparedness equipment, at the very least, an emergency pack, basically like a 72-hour kit, loaded up the basic specs of a 72-hour kit itself. that's okay anyway uh... in addition to that uh... your basic if you're going to put the load-bearing equipment in there and same thing has to be considered is how do you pack the gear if you can put in storage on a vehicle or in a place like a boat if you're going to put it for the people who are going to put in there i would get blocked bag everything or at least that you pack everything that you can with a tear seals of the top you can make these if you get one is like back eight hundred uh... you can cut uh... you know visit queen and then make up your own bags, you heat seal them and vacuum pack everything and then put it into your gear. When the time comes, you can rip it and open it up and use it at your discretion. We do this with ammunition. We do this with magazines, medical supplies, all the clothing. And that way it's all sealed against the environment. This is part of the weatherization process. Now it's a good idea anyway because you get out in the field, you get rained on, you get snowed on, you happen to do water crossings and water barrier crossings. You're going to get everything wet. And the drier you can keep everything, the less extra maintenance you have to do. once you get past that obstacle or while you're in that environment uh... in the trunk of the car i would also make sure you have an e tool at least a folding shovel uh... i like the idea of picking up the surplus uh... swiss or german uh... or american jeep shovels they're the perfect tool for a lot of work that needs to be done been quick and handy three basic tools in the trunk a machete with a sawback blade an entrenching tool of some type And if all else fails, remember, in addition to that, another hatchet or scratch it type tool. The hatchet is a utility tool, and again, it's a personal weapon. It fills in the blanks. Between the machete with the sawback, the hatchet, and the E tool, you have all the basic tools you need to improvise in the field with natural materials. A medical kit, and it should be what we call a crash pack. One of the reasons is if you're on the road, if you either make contact and some incident happens on the road and you get hurt, well, usually there's a lot of shredding and tearing that goes on. You're going to have to be covering wounds and injuries that typically are multiple. If you're responding when you're on the road to somebody else that's hurt, it's the same case in reverse. I carry multiple numbers of small dressings in the vest that I wear. You'll see in some of the videos, it's a black vest. The reason it looks pudgy is because it's full, it's loaded. And I carry this as an automatic, just like, that's my wallet. But it carries four by fours, two by twos, tape, four different types of compresses. Sometimes they even carry a medium dressing on board in one of the big pockets. I have come across incidents or accidents where I have used every piece of medical equipment I was carrying and still didn't have enough. So it comes in handy. Now in about a battlefield situation, for support, it still serves and it is supplied the same way. First aid kits are a critical item that should be carried by all team members, small kits that are adapted that are beefed up, that's when we're bringing Mike Nasser up on the air. Ammunition, if you're going to be storing it in a vehicle, if you're going to transport it, I would recommend, if you're going to do it, one of the things to remember about having it in the trunk is that moisture is damaging to brass, lead, to steel because it's going to cause oxidation. One of the tricks, now there are these really nice, they're 81 millimeter mortar shell transport tubes. They're just a bit longer than a standard 81 millimeter mortar. They have a grommet and they have a nice coarse thread cap. you'll notice that there are notches in the tops of the cap. What those are for is so you can take a load bar like a crowbar, you know, a flat stock crowbar, and you can actually torque them down and seal them that much better. Now there's two types. One is a single mortar round carrier. It's just a regular plastic tube. They're usually like an aqua, not aqua, but a dark green or a black color. They don't offer a whole lot of space inside, but they offer enough space that you can take, for instance, a bandolier of ammunition and roll it up and put it in there, or take bricks of 22 or individual rounds, seal them, meal them, put them in vacuum packs, and put them inside those tubes. Once you seal it shut, guess what? It can bounce around in the trunk, ain't nothing going to get to it. There's not going to be any change in the environment inside the tube, and they're good for a long, long time. And they'll take all the abuse that's needed so that the ammo inside isn't damaged. There's another type that has two different, that carries two 81 millimeter rounds. It's attached with a bridge in the middle, has a carrying strap the whole nine yards. This is an excellent ammunition carrier that you can leave in the trunk like that, but if you've got to grab it, you don't have to open it up or move anything. You just grab it, throw it over your shoulder, use the existing shoulder strap, and away you go. These are German made, or they're British made. They're in the surplus market. You've got to shop around to see if they're still out there. typically OD green, they've got a large cap, they offer a lot of space inside for storage. Some people have gone so far as to make their quick emergency pack in their cars out of these dual mortar tube systems because they are so convenient and they take a lot of abuse and if you pull everything out you can have even a little nylon backpack or butt pack system inside the tube. When you pull it out you then use the tube as your water carrier. The double tube has a big cap on it so you can actually purify water and fill it up and use it as a water transport carrier. The idea is to integrate as much stuff as possible and give it a dual mission so that you're not carrying as much and you don't load the car down as heavily. The basic idea is immediate response to get you out of a situation. The idea is you're not trying to get into something, you're trying to get away from contact, you're trying to break contact. The gas masks are there because, and again, I can now stress this enough, It's not necessarily going to be high biological or chemical ordinance. Remember, you've got CSCN, you've got all the calcium sprays. Some are so potent that, for instance, one is called Mr. Clean because it does not just affect the mucous membrane areas. It is actually in such concentration that if it makes contact with the skin, it burns. which creates, of course, confusion on the part of the target. That's the whole mission behind it. Now you have some of the new, yeah, now you've got, well, now you've got some of the new capsium oil sprays that are actually designed with a bonding agent that's supposed to stick so it keeps the material on the skin. It's not lethal. It's just you don't really want to dip your head into a cayenne pepper vat, do you? Best that I can tell, and I'll take your answer off the air so I've got to get back to work. Not a problem. The C-52 is perfectly carry with one chamber and then hammer down correct? Well, yeah, you can. The weapon itself, remember, it's a striker system. Now, the basic rule, the safety, first of all, the checks heavily engineered that weapon. It was designed, it was actually, it's a flawless design, I have to say that. Like the 1911 A1, I have no problem carrying it cock-locked and ready to go with the safety up. On the other hand, you've got to remember there's two schools. One is have the round up the tube. But they've been pushing for a long time and the old school method was to actually carry the weapon with the tube hollow. In other words, no round in the chamber. And teaching everybody to automatically draw, work the slide, bring the weapon up into position, into battery for attack. uh... it's a matter of it's a matter of the school training that you had background wise uh... i like the idea of having you know the numbers of having a row magazine that nine-pound and the channel in the chamber does kind of a little extra purple media Well, there's the factory models, remember the military one was designed under European policy, which is it's a holster designed to protect the weapon from the environment but still offer reasonable access. There's a number of different systems, I would not, and I'm going to say this, even though a lot of people recommend them, and I know a lot of guys use them, the jackass rigs as they're called, where you have a horizontal carry to the body, perpendicular to the body when it's standing up. If you have one of the nylon slider types, the biggest problem is when you're bending over, if it's not properly tweaked, you know, it's locked in place, a lot of guys drop their weapons. That's kind of embarrassing in a situation where you may not realize that you stand back up, you get into a situation, you reach for the weapon because you've been busy with other things, and you realize you got the holster under your armpit. But I really, if it's a shoulder holster system, a bucket type, in other words, literally, you have to put the weapon down into the holster and it runs parallel. would be your first best choice with an effective cross lace. Now those are typically thumb busters, that's the most important thing, it's got a quick break. Basic, your natural action is you reach for the weapon, you cup the grip, your thumb disengages the cross strap to bring the weapon into batter. That's your first best choice. When I say bucket, that's a term we've used because the weapon naturally sets and rests into the well. Now that's a plus. Now as far as nylon, cordura or leather, that's a personal choice issue. The biggest problem that people make the mistake is they think, well, it's nylon. It's not going to attract moisture. It's not going to be as much of a problem for maintenance. In either case, there are two things. You have to constantly be doing maintenance to check the holster to make sure it's dried out and that it's clean. and yet because it collects dirt, so you know it actually, what it does to put, where it puts the weapon in, lots of stuff gets in there. The other thing is you've constantly, you've got to remember to do maintenance on your weapon because there's two things that are going to do damage. Accumulated moisture from the environment and because it's close to your body, even if it's not concealed, let's just say combat carry, it's close to your body, you physically exert yourself, body salts are transferred through and wick through the nylon. The body salts do damage to the weapon because obviously they well create corrosion. So you're going to have to remember to do maintenance on a regular basis and in some cases clean your equipment at different times. Actually wash it with a mild soap to make sure that you get the body oils and the salts out of it. Sound good? Oh, I think we had to go appreciate that Lee. And again, hopefully that answered some questions. We need to go over that. We're going to do that when we come up first thing one day, discuss some of the carry systems that are needed. to support your weapons and equipment. God bless the Republic.
