I had a dream the other night that, when I didn't understand, a figure walking through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. You have no time. Right now we want to get people plugged in and up to speed. Weapons Wednesday, what do we do? Will we cover anything and everything on arms? And yes, we take call-ins too. But remember, this is Weapons Wednesday. Try to keep it on the subject. It's a mic theory. We want to try to maintain, you know, focus on the area of interest, which is critical. But being Weapons Wednesday, a couple of things real quick. Barring pins and extractors, and if need be, ejectors if you can get them. If you are in possession of a particular standard Marshall or even civilian arm, and you plan on using it, i will emphasize as i have many many times you need to have a firing pin extractor any chapter if it's needed as possible summer of actually welded right into the side of the you've been regarded actors are well that right in the side of the receiver so that may be a problem but for your book guns there are separate independent ejectors the parts are available either from surplus and there are many sources the factory gun you can even go right to rueger ramington winchester Stevens take your pick whoever's out there that you might have an arm for and you can probably buy the parts new for your brand new firearm right now. Now there are little tricks but most important is think about this you want to make sure that when you're buying these things if at all possible carry them with your battle pack in other words your load-bearing equipment or have them ideally on your weapon. Now if you have an M14 so You might recall you have a butt trap. It's designed for your cleaning kit and for your patches and for your oil, your lubricants with grease and oil. There's plenty of room in there if you readjust things a little bit so that you can primarily carry your, again, extractor, ejector, and firing pin right there in the buttstock of the weapon. If you have an AR-15, same thing. If you have an M1 Grant, same thing. Hey, look at that. Standard military US arms typically carried all the goodies on board. Now, another little trick with your AR-15, if you've already got it squared away and cleaned up, you know, guys I understand, you may not want to change it at all, but there are some really cool little accoutrements, for instance, a trap system for the pistol grip that's made. Cost is a dollar's down, I think. A good choice because it gives you a place to store more goodies. Now, some people even said, well heck, at least put three or four rounds of ammunition in there and just leave that in the pistol grip. To agree, to agree, that's not a bad idea. If you can put more spaces to store stuff on the weapon, Then I would have to agree with that but I would do one more thing if you're gonna put ammunition for instance in the pistol grip or in places where it can be stored like that Get out and buy a vacuum packer or find out if you got a friend who has one or going together as a team between your group Buy one of these like back 800s or whatever they are. There's several different models You can go use nowadays and go to hardware's and find them even but it's a vacuum packer you where you can use vinyl bags Well take your three or four rounds that you're gonna put into the into the storage on the weapon and vacuum pack them. Gee, go look at that. Now you've got them sealed from the environment. They're safe, they're gonna be dry. Now you put them up inside your storage point and you have three or four rounds or five depending on how much you can fit just in case. That's right. You're gonna have noise discipline is going to be maintained. At least you got something maybe to get you out of trouble. It's not gonna get you, it might get you in trouble if you decide to use three or five rounds to go in the offensive. It might be a very short offensive, let's put it there. But on the defensive, those five rounds may get you the next magazine that you need to continue the fight. Or another weapon. So keep that in mind with regard to your storage systems. A lot of other cool stock systems are out there. And you might look on the weapons. You'll find that if you have somebody who is competent, I'm going to warn everybody here, you got to be careful. But for instance, a lot of these Zytel stock, if they're a solid butt stock in the rear, Remember that they actually can, and typically, be bored out. Okay, they have a butt plate that screws into place. You take the butt plate off and look to see if you have a hollow inside the stock. Now, if you have a hollow inside the stock, Don, what can we do with that? Oh, everything you need to support. And it's all out? Oh, even into ammunition. Actually, everything on board that's needed or that's essential. Now, yes, it's going to add a few ounces. Woo-hoo! To the weapon. Okay, but my point is, it also adds, extends the life of the weapon. In the field, those parts that you need should be with the rifle. That way you're not fumbling around for them or have to guess. If you hand a rifle off to somebody as an issue arm, you know that in each weapon, everything that you need to keep that weapon in the field for an extended period of time is there. Now, extractors, if you have an AR-15, I would recommend a minimum of three extractors, and ideally five to six, or however many you can afford extra. Now, if you remember, you can buy them separately. Extractors are the weak point on the AR-15. We can assume the bad guys have intentionally allowed the steel case ammunition to come to the country because their logic is they're going to be breaking down our weapons. You may be forced to use a steel case ammunition. That's the case. We want to be ready for that. Now that doesn't mean the extractor is going to break every time you pull the trigger. You'd be amazed. You might actually get a nice extractor that runs for a while just like a Singer sewing machine until something isn't formed right. You know, on the case, the steel case. And then you might have to change out. Well, remember, the one cool thing about the AR-15, it is very user-friendly for maintenance. I will say that. So you pop the rear pin, you open up the receiver, one from the other, you pull out the bolt carrier, you even have a complete bolt face with another extractor replaced, and then all you have to do is drop a pin at the other end, bing, away you go. Now, if you have to replace the extractor, it's still only one more step. with regard to maintenance. You pop the pin, you drop the extractor, you put the new one in with a rebound with a recovery guide, the little rubber teat slash nylon teeth that's in there, and put it all back together and you've got a combat arm again. See how that works? Now another thing that we've been talking about because we know that ammunition is becoming progressively scarcer is taking advantage of other conversion systems. Well, here's a warning. Actually, a positive warning. Now, we're going to have this up in the next couple of days, no later than the next Weapons Wednesday. There is a complete conversion system to go from 2 to 3 to 9 millimeter with the AR-15. It does mean dropping the upper receiver. The point is that there's a new guide system. Colt started making these years ago the Colt 9s, AR-15 and 9 millimeter. Magazines are the Uzi magazine. the spacer goes right in your low receiver without any modification. That's always a plus. No, I will say this, another thing. Do not, if it is a choice, let's say that you have a weapon that you have to do certain work on. Unless there's something really scurlessly wrong with the weapon, okay? Never alter the firearm, okay? If you have to make something work, you modify the magazines, okay? Because the magazines only cost a few dollars. It costs a lot more, you know what I mean? want to spend money where we don't have to and a lot of times for instance in this case there's a losing mags in 25 rounder or 32 rounders are out there in mass the upper includes the complete upper receiver 9 millimeter I would take and get it in at least a 16 and a half inch ideally a 16 and a half to 18 inch barrel why because I don't want the scumbags on the other side to have any excuse to P.O. me off okay So if you're going to get this thing, don't get it in any short barrel. There is no reason or need for it. Get it in a standard barrel length. Now I'm saying this because right now you might just go, hey Mark, get an ID. And you might look around, you might find a source for these. If you do, fantastic, go for it. However, we're going to be in contact with a person who's going to be giving you probably the best price in the country. And by next Wednesday, will have the info on this so you're all squared away and you can plug into an entire kit for a very set and reasonable price. The other thing is magazines. If you're going to get one of these things, buy lots of the Uzi mags now. Why? Because they're cheap. That's right. In fact, nothing stays cheap. Okay, it stays cheap because there's a bit of a glut on the market. That glut is not going to last. This is not Walmart. There is not a factory cranking out more of these magazines for you. These are surplus. There are only so many mags left. This is also true of all of the other martial arms that you have right now. I am a firm believer in having lots and lots and lots. Wait a minute, can I add that one more time? Lots. And Don, we know that you never have enough, right? Oh, and you wonder where they went. Hey, that emptied pretty fast. And the other end of that. Kind of like the Hollywood. How many times have you seen this where the guy is throwing the gun and he goes, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop We had armpit shot, we'll see, pirouette over my head, pop, pop, pop, oh wait a minute, I can fire 25 more rounds from the prone. Reality is, you're not gonna have enough mags, you drop them, they get shot, you break them, you lose them, it happens. So magazines are a priority, and that's for a lot of our people listening who are asking, well how many mags should I have? As many as you can afford. We're going to be back in about three minutes. Thank you for bringing this up, because this is something that was an extensive conversation down south in Kentucky and Tennessee, but also all over the country. Yes, we have people... We have a vast pool of skilled tradesmen who, because of the nature of the betrayal of this country, we have people out of work or we have people who have no place to go with their skills. It's going to be the single machine that is going to save the country. It is not going to be big factories. It's not going to be big industry. They've betrayed us every step and every turn that they can. It's going to be the individual skilled tradesman doing his part that is going to make the difference. And that's the difference between 1775 and 2007. So the stock material is pretty much standard steel, so they couldn't just withdraw that from the market or keep a track of who's using it. Exactly. Well, another thing to keep in mind now, you know, here's another point. People needed in and everybody listening. Think about this. There are several weapons. The Volkskrenadier VG series of rifles built at the end of World War II that don't get a whole lot of hooplaque because they don't want anybody to think about it. What they did is the MP44 was the Cadillac, the Mercedes-Benz of the light rifles at the end of the war. But at the other end of the spectrum and just as reliable were the VG1, VG2, and VG3 rifles. They were pinned together. They were made in two different beer can factories. They were very simple in design. They used a standard MP44 magazine. They used a beaver board flat piece of pine for a stock. What's interesting is this. Both of the factories are captured by the United States at the end of World War II. They were completely disassembled and sent to Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Aberdeen put the plants up and online in temporary run and tested these rifles. The results were quietly put away for one very obvious reason. The VG rifles only cost about 2, the equivalent from Deutschmarks to American at the end of World War II, cost about $2.75 to $3.25 per rifle to manufacture. They were as serviceable as the AK-47. They were as reliable as the MP-44. and they had the same knockdown power. Now, these rifles could easily be made with an adapter for, say, using AR-15 magazines, or going to 30 caliber Russian and using AK-47 magazines. All of the components were either stamped or mandrel and anvil produced. And you know what that means. In other words, they were virtually hand-produced parts. the barrels themselves were used, they used reject K-98 barrels that were flawed in some way, cut down to one third the length. They could get three K-98, out of three K-98 barrels, they could get a lot of one K-98 barrel, they could get three of these VG barrels, just like the Russians would their submachine guns during the middle and end of the war. Well, they were designed to be light rifles. Remember, they weren't MBRs. Yes, what they did is now they brought the barrel length down. And this is true also. Remember, the MP44, the AK47, the AR15 are all based on the premise of the philosophy of the 200 yard engagement range, 220 yards. That was supposed to be the average optimal engagement range for most. Now, the keyword is for perceived most contact. However, the reason that takes place, and I think most people forget this, is because there was a combined arms element in World War II with all armies, and that philosophy still was in place after the war. And what I mean by that is, you had heavy rifles, slash MBRs, you had a light rifle or carbine category firearm, with us it was the M1, with the Russians, it would have been, they didn't finish it, but it wasn't finished until after the war, the SKS would have fit that family for the Russians. And then of course there was a submachine gun and then a handgun. Now the submachine gun for the Russians was the Peppierch, the MP40 or the 40 type weapon for the Germans, the Sten gun or the Thompson for the British, and of course we had the Thompson and the Grease gun. Of all those weapons, the Peppierch is simple, but obviously the Sten and the Grease gun. were the simplest of the three of actually the five in the submachine gun category. Submachine guns are a solution, but actually subcar beans would be a better solution to restrict the ammunition consumption. So a semi-automatic, longer barrel, light carbine, and 9 millimeter 45, 40 Smith and Wesson, which 40 caliber police agencies typically use. would be your three best choices in Calibers with regard to common ammunition, easily accessed magazines, and simplified design. Now the Sten gun, here's another thing. Sten gun was made in every garage in England. Literally. Everybody out there listening used to look at the history of the Sten gun. Every grandma who could handle a rat tail file, every person who had a drill press, any person who had any capability with their hands, was pressed into service to make the minimal number of parts that were required for the Sten gun. At its mass production level, cost was down to $2.10 American. Think about that. $2.10 to put a submachine gun in the field, in the hands of a soldier. The most complicated parts were the magazine and the magazine well. All the rest, as you would point out, that's the thing, Leo, is all the rest of the parts, there's only three threaded points on the firearm. Wow. All the rest were pressed fittings, or in other words, were actually secured so they worked into each other and were retained purely by pressure. And by the way, the two threaded points are actually, if you look at the Sten gun in its picture, in the pictures you'll see of it, the first two threaded points are two screws that only have about one, I think it's five threads that held in the trigger group cover plate. That's it. Those are the otherwise the threaded stock that makes up the where the barrel is screwed. The barrel shroud is screwed into place which retains the barrel. Are the is the only other place where there's a piece of threaded material on it. Round stock. The bolts were made by hand and with lathes they were made in here's nothing about this. Bolts for the Sten gun were even made in brass. That means... That's no big deal. The only thing really critical is the firing chamber. You got to have the right kind of steel for that. That's right. 4140 chromoly was used and 4130 was used. And what they did... And here's an interesting... That aircraft grade. Well, the only place they considered sensitive was the barrel, but again, they were using lesser metals at different times. And in many cases with the desperation period of 1940, 41 and 42, early 42, they actually produced barrels that didn't even have any rifling they were simply straight bore they put out what they eventually did was a mandrel pull through system which we use in the united states too and did a like a micro groove to groove uh... uh... twist was very short and very simple and very shallow now these weapons were only supposed to survive six months of active duty and they assumed that they would be replacing them. Almost all of them survived to be in service with anywhere from 1 to 3 to 10 to 20 different countries. The Israelis used the stand. Everybody on the planet has used the stand in a third world country at some time or another. And it depended on what year it was after World War II. Millions of them, tens of millions were made. They actually acknowledged with embarrassment that they don't know for sure how many they made. and that's rare for the British because you know how they are there and they're absolutely no retentive with regard to the serial numbers and registry but they've put every garage could offer instance one person made trigger guards All they did was they had a hammer or they had a bending tool and they had a template, a mandrel and an anvil system. They pulled everything into place, threw it in a box and did another one. But when you back stuff you can do it really quickly without automated machinery. Exactly, it does. They then go back to the safe houses, the halfway houses, the clandestine facilities, and each can easily be found because just as they do with everybody else, the ants only travel in certain places. And the ants, when you watch the ant channels, it's not difficult to track them all down. It's actually, one of the things we were thinking about doing is starting up as a college sport, for instance. Have some fun. the foreign spies and that gets everybody's attention and then what you do is point out certain things and you get everybody to start looking for the ADL spies and it's fun because you can make it a game but it's not a game in fact it's a very serious affair where they get you know again there's gonna be a point where there's an e-jerk response on their part but even that in and of itself will be beneficial to us because it will show them for what they really are. Yeah but the problem is you see Now I really see this categorization happening. You guys are going to be portrayed as the Elmer Fuds of the world. Well, you know what? That's not a part of it. Leo, I don't care what they think. The majority of the population can be brainwashed into thinking that you guys are the Elmer Fuds of the world. Invite them to be away from the controlled atmosphere. Well we had to do it for reasons so that they would be able... we could pass on all the information to them that we wanted to including copies of everything that they needed. They could reproduce all that they had, but we gave them the masters and we worked in Detroit. We worked in New York. We've worked in Philadelphia. We've worked in Virginia Beach. We've gone to Atlanta. I've spoken in downtown Atlanta at least a dozen times. Inside, in the inner city in several locations. Sometimes, you know, on top. The adversary is wonderful because we need more of that. But it is happening. That's just it. Remember, from our direction, see the controlled media, it's just like talking about Ron Paul. Okay, I still think that is a classic example for everybody listening because there's a lot of people out there who have been with the Patriot effort who are always waiting for the other side to give us a pat on the head and it ain't gonna happen. It is never gonna happen with a control press ever. Now I don't care if it's firearms. I sat in and I myself I directly was involved with and there's people listening. We shut down the entire downtown. I've mentioned this many times but it's classic. ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN all new. We put over a million people in the downtown Columbus, Ohio area. Right down to the eight blocks. You could not walk, you could not drive, you could not move through the town. You were also posted somewhere? Well, you've got no, this is my point is this. You've got no coverage at all, but it was one of seven different events organized by pro firearms people. that one was done in Texas and it was two cities simultaneously. They put massive screens, had 20, 30,000 people participate at each site and what they did for us, now think about how unique this is. One speaker would speak in one city. and everybody would wait and listen and they were watching on a big rock and roll type screen like you see at the concerts and the person would be speaking in the other city at the same time and then they'd have a person speak in the other side and do the reverse in the other city. ABC, NBC, CBS or CNN talked about it. So everybody's waiting for approval. It didn't happen. Well you see my point is this, is that rather than being discouraged what people have to understand and remember is this, the way you're going to make this change is support our communications mechanisms because that is it. Those systems are theirs. They're bought, they're paid for. How do you expect to do that besides the normal blogging? Oh no, we do much more. Listen to what I do at the beginning of the program. That's the whole point. You know that we, Don's mentioned this many times, Don, you're right there. We've always had a tripod. We started doing internet radio when nobody even knew what internet was. People, if you have a drill press and you're part of the Patriot effort, you have a priceless tool sitting in your lap. We're going to need to make sure that everything is well maintained, well supported. Make sure again that you have the lubricants, oils, all of the extra chucks, bits and fixtures that you need for your machinery to make it work for us. Another thing is, and this ties right in with this, is reloading. Reloading presses. Step one. Yeah, we know they're cutting off the ammo, Don. That is what the three-piece primers. That's right. So right now is the time. This is our bridge. Now, most people are saying, well, we're not producing all the components. No, we're not producing all the components yet in the quantities we'd like. But, reloaders learned to adapt. We did this back in the 70s. I don't see this as any different from 1977 America with regard to our ammunition situation. There was no 223 surplus. I cannot emphasize that enough. I have seen this before. It has come full circle. exactly what we have. It's gone full circle. So with that being the case, bullets, primer, again remember with your gas operated rifles you want to be able to use military ball or you get it's got to be jacketed for obvious reasons we can't let the barrel. Now you can use lead in an emergency and not that it's going to be a stressful issue on the weapon won't hurt it at all. There are little tricks for instance you can use gas checks you can actually create a gas check that with a special number of components. You can make bullets with jacketed walls. There are all kinds of little tricks now. I would tell you to save your brass. Yep All right pieces out there steel cases out there and there's brass whether no matter what it is most keep it dry keep it clean Put them in the pop jugs. In fact, they just cleaned out a juice jug here. It's a classic example. These juice jugs, you can't turn them in for anything. They're going to take up space in the landfill. They got a nice big mouth. Usually what, about an inch and a half in diameter. Sometimes they're even bigger. Well, guys, wash those out, dry them out, and use those for storing your brass. And also, if you're already reloading, save all of your old primers. Please. save all of your old primers. We can rebuild primers. We just need the primer to work to do it. So save your old primers. We'll explain later. There actually is all information out there already on how to reactivate the primers, but you got to have the basic components. Now to save yourself a whole lot of misery, guys, here's another thing. You have rifle primers, big and small. You have pistol primers, big and small. And you have other odd dimension primers. Well, wouldn't it behoove you rather than having to sort later when you're reloading, sort them as you're loading, reloading? In other words, you've got a little catcher down below for those primers that are expended. When you know you're doing light rifle primers, keep them all together, make up a one gallon container, pour them all in there, and that way you won't have to sort all those little bitty pieces later on when the time comes. It saves you time. Shotgun primers the same way, save them. Shunken primers are the easiest to reactivate and actually offer more material to work with with regard to even wadding. Remember, Go back through the old books. I thoroughly believe in saving every old text you can. Well, not the least of which is if you got somebody with a whole bunch of old American riflemen. Unlike the present day where it's the American era has become the gun grabbers of the country. It used to be they talked about reloading and how to make things work and all kinds of fun innovations and creative ways for you to do things on the cheap. go back through those magazines and start scouring. Now let me give you some recommendations for windows periods of time to look at. 1928 through 1931, 1932, an actual rifle, the American Rifleman magazine in whatever configuration. The other period, 1940 to 1943, in fact I go all the way to 45, but let me give you a hint. Back in 1940, we were looking at World War II, but especially in 1941 through to 1943, we were looking at invasion in America, possibly. Okay, think about it. World War II after Pearl Harbor. Because of this, the NRA did a vast amount of information, preparation for war by our militia. It's you and me. because of that they gave for instance now this is something could never do today because of liability issues all the lawyers have ruined the country we know they have but uh... back then they did was considered called a rating scale for alternate ammunition in other words if you had a three oh three british infield as a pickup rifle from world war one year grandpa brought home Here's the different calibers, the different rifle cartridges that would temporarily fit and here's how they were rated to fit in your weapon. That would be kind of nice for you to have right now, wouldn't it? Yeah. Because now it had ratings because there was the, okay, if you use this cartridge, it's kind of safe. In fact, all it's going to do is change the shape of the car of the case. The B category was, well, you're going to pull the trigger, it's going to fail, the case is going to fail, but you'll be safe. You might get a little gas blowback. The next category was, oh my goodness, pull the trigger and see what happens. But the point is that they'd already done the research. Why reinvent the wheel? So all this information is out there, including improvised weapons support, reloading solutions. All the stuff you're talking about right now used to be in that, what used to be a pro firearms magazine called the American Rifleman before it was captured by the anti-gun people. Okay? Now the anti-gun people, of course, have done everything they can to promote getting the weapons and most recently to disarm the veterans. So I will say again, support, gun owners of America, G.O.A. For our life members in the NRA, what should they be doing, Don? They remind me of the captain of the Titanic. On one hand, before they hit the iceberg, there were no icebergs. We'd like to say about what happened to the captain that actually he didn't change the course because, well, the ship was unsinkable. I don't believe that. So I think everybody was just kind of asleep at the wheel. But just as bad either way because no matter how we look at it they did hit the iceberg didn't they? Yeah. Okay now after they hit the iceberg you could have faced reality sooner instead of doing the oh I think we'll be fine. No no no instead people should have been lashing the deck chairs together They should have been emptying the wine bottles and putting them into canvas sacks to create flotation devices lots of them There's all kinds of things you could have done if you've been thinking and everybody was put to work when you have a couple thousand hands. Duh! But instead, your my god that he was played people's ankles were wet and they were offering free drinks at the bar. You're that water is cold. And by the way, those flares are not flares. Those are fireworks. Everything's fine. Just go back to the drinks. That's where you need to be going for those people who are life members. They need to vote out the scallywags right now because they're going to betray us flat out. Now we know really why the UN went to the why the NRA went to the UN. It's because they feel the same way as the UN. And 800 all kinds of the good stuff going on in the wings. I did say keep your pen and paper handy for that very reason because Don, give that number out one more time, please. Even different number mark pulled in size in a relatively short... There's no reason for that not to happen. It's just like what happened here with Ron Paul and now the low number is 6 million. The high-end number is almost 9 million. And again, the reason is how they're counting the money that came in. And I know they're always trying to be conservative so that nobody can bump them off their square, as they say. Either way Ron Paul just a lot of good people out there highly motivated. No big corporations are donating to Ron Paul This is all the average Americans seeing that there's a problem. Well, that's another thing I got to say I have talked to a lot of people last week Especially last three or four days and you know, what's funny is there's not a single person I've talked to who hasn't said that is that a Country they first of all said the country's in trouble and be that were sold out nice should say that we'll tie that in because that we're halfway sold out halfway or more. I understand that. But also that Ron Paul is a solution. And he's not going to be taking your firearms either. OK, he plans on helping to make sure the American people are well-armed, well-prepared, and enjoy their liberty. That's the process. Yes. Well, we are at the top of the hour.
