I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free.
and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. Invist the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent.
Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled.
You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn.
and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave?
O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As Iowoki vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame.
For even now his parents trampled each God-given right. We only watched him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free?

You'll also find us on Galaxy 25 KU-band satellite. Go to wethepeopelradionetworkwtprn.com. There, you'll be able to pull up the coordinates and punch in your satellite receiver to Galaxy 25 KU-band satellite. And it'll be like you're right here in the studio with us, every cough.
all the noise, all the sound that we make in broadcasting will be right there for you. Now again, the satellite CDISH systems usually have KU band capability, want to remind you of that. So if you have a system that's already in place, you want to check your receiver, always hang on to your manuals, read them, gives you all the instructions and technology information there. By the way, we the People Radio Network, yes, they also need support. And I've asked this many times, but if you can just do this once a month.
Go to We the People Radio Network, take a look at what they're offering to help to support the network, support the sponsors on a regular basis. If you have a need for batteries or other technologies, remember we've got alternate power, water purification, we've got the Bed Fan Guy, and I have repeated this over and over again, that again, if you have, for instance, former injuries that create irritation to the skin, get hold of the Bed Fan Guy at BedFanguy.com.
The reason I say this is because I'm very familiar with individuals when they have had severe burns especially. The way that it affects the cellular structure of the outer tissue is such that it can create great discomfort or at least constant agitation. I know how this works guys and a lot of times in places where you didn't want to get burned in the first place but if you did get burned you're going to notice it and of course even after it's healed there are still some complications that develop with regard to how the skin issue rebuilds.
Well, the bed fan guy has a solution that may help you. And this helps to regulate the air flow inside the covers. Under the covers in the bed with a head control, this actually allows you to circulate air and to regulate the temperature for the air. So in other words, you want to be able to stay warm under certain conditions, but you can't have the sheets laying on an area that may be agitated or inflamed.
And this is something I've seen. I've dealt with a lot of burn patients. I was the president of one of the burn associations here in Michigan and worked with firefighters. My dad was a firefighter for many years, so was my oldest brother. And I've seen some pretty bad casualties over the years. There are ways we can help these people. So you want to think about that. Also, for ladies who are getting a little older, there are certain physiological changes that take place. This would help you also.
I would recommend get hold of bedfanguy.com, contact him, and see what you can find out. Now again, it's not that complicated a process, and I, oh no, I normally have the number right here at my fingertips, and all the numbers are gone. Well, I'll tell you what I'm going to do. We can go to break. I'll make sure that I give you the information for the bed fan guy, and also other particulars.
Literally we have a couple callers that are so patient. We've got Rob from Texas. We're going to bring our callers up. Rob, are you there? Yeah, I am, Mark. I've got another weapons question for you. Well, I guess it was pre Y2K. I bought a pre-ban A47 from World Trade and they make their AKs here in the United States. Actually, they're out of Houston. I finally got it out of the wrapper the other night. I'm starting to break all my stuff.
clean it up because the oil... anyway, the only thing it has is a plant muzzle brake on it and three make on an AK. What would they be to... would it be putting optics on it? I mean, what would the three things that you would do to change it to make... Threaded barrel, correct?
Well it doesn't have the threaded barrel though. What they've done is they've milled the barrel down. Okay now there's a couple of solutions there. In fact Centerfire Systems right now, Centerfire Systems 1800 951-231 has a whole page of muzzle compensators and flash hiders for sale, on sale. Now they're very cheap. Okay now they make them for both the threaded and they make them so that you pin them into place.
uh... the a k seventy four tight flash hider is an excellent flash hider slash muzzle compensator is an excellent system for the a k designer remember the russians would not go to it if they didn't think it was useful i can't stress that enough they didn't just do it for the fun of it always make something look cool on the end of the rifle the russians don't do that they do minimal on everything
just like the Chinese. The idea is to make it simple and stupid. Well, that particular flash-shatter works exceptionally well, helps to break down... Actually, a compensator is a big issue. It helps to keep the muzzle down. It doesn't overcompensate, which is really critical. Optics would be another option, but again, as we've mentioned many times on the air, one of the simplest solutions is the dust cover mounted scope systems.
They're very inexpensive by comparison and there are several companies, Center Fire is one that has them out there right now. You can take a look at their website. If I were to go to Optics, you don't have to go very powerful. The idea is just to bring it in a little bit. I know a lot of people say, well, go red dot. Go with a laser system. Go with, go red on the list. I say keep it simple because all the other things require batteries. The best computer I have on the planet is between my head. If I train properly, my weapon will perform efficiently.
A simple low power scope is fine. If you want to go with a more high power scope, you're going to bring the target in. But try to go with the see-through system. In other words, you can see under it and still use the iron sights. It's not mandatory, and different shooters have different attitudes. The good thing about a dust cover mounted system is you can always disconnect the dust cover, put a standard dust cover back on that you might be carrying, and carry the system. And you can actually stash the scope separate until you need it or wish to use it.
Beyond that, there's not a whole lot more I would do to change the rifle if it's got the wood stocks. Now, I will say this, we did the flash rider, the optics are the next option. The only other thing is that depending on length is how you feel, how comfortable you are with the stock system itself. Does it have a standard beaver board type AK stock?
Well, okay, you can stick with that, but I will mention that, very rare, but it happens. You can snap the stocks if you throw enough pressure on them if you drop to the ground. One of the solutions we had was to go to the wraparound stock system. Now, I know everybody likes the convenient pistol grip that's on the AK, because they are. They're a nice weapon. They're a beautiful weapon.
Right now another thing Centerfire has and you can experiment without spending a lot of money but you get extra goodies is they've got for $14.99 they have a kit system the Romanian AKSBD type shoulder stock they get an extra mag pouch you get the broken shell extractor a bunch of other cleaning kit tools etc etc the stock is the big thing because it's the laminate wood
with steel component, Dragunov's Skeleti stock. That is a stronger stock for the AK. Because what happens is the Skeleti stock comes down and makes contact with the base of the pistol grip. What this does is create two points of contact and of course brings a whole base that connects to the back of the receiver and the pistol grip together as one piece.
I like that. A lot of people took them off the other rifles. I was grabbing all those for a dollar apiece at the gun shows years ago because I like the idea that I got a nice strong piece of material there now. If I got to turn somebody's face into a pile of chiclets with some, you know, some soup, then that, if I have to cross stroke, which happens, okay, it's not the best of situations, but if they're close,
Butts there, the pistol grip itself with that crossbar makes a great way to smack him in the head without having to turn the weapon or try to, you know, cross the party. You can actually just, like a pushup, shove it at the person, smack him in the head, knock him down. Plus you got that nice little bump right there. It works like a stud where the pistol grip is. So that would be the only other consideration. But because you might want to stick with that, there are simple and cheap solutions. When we go to break, I'm going to pull the numbers out and I will give the serial numbers for those sets.
because you should have them anyway. They're cheap solutions to give you spare parts. There's nothing you need to do to the gas system. Nothing. I would stick with 30 round mags, although there's nice 20 rounders out there that are AK major Russian manufacturer Bulgarian. If you don't have a drum, but you do have a lot of money, I hate to say it, is I would get one drum at least for the rifle because it is handy to have that 75 or 100 round capacity
for suppression fire. It's not your first choice, but again, you'll see this in a lot of our patrolling operations. When we're moving, anybody who has a drum carries a drum. In fact, there's going to be a video coming up here in the next week. If you pay attention, you'll notice that everybody in traveling mode is carrying a 75 round drum in every one of the AKs. And that's a standard operating procedure for our units here under the logic that if you're traveling, if you're not in bounding Overwatch or in Overwatch,
If you're traveling, you're not expecting contact, but you must assume the possibility of contact from our perspective because the battlefield is everywhere. If you're getting caught off guard and you're in motion and exposed, you cannot necessarily acquire a cover that's appropriate. You may walk into a prepared ambush, and so what you need is volume fire. Now what you do is that first 75-round drum is used for suppression.
If you're wounded and you hit, and you can still fire, you fire with what you have and then drop the drum, switch to the mag. If you're able to move, you do literally, this is one of the few times where you hose down a target, walk into the target, neutralize that target, and if when the weapon runs dry, you drop the drum. You don't put it, you don't store it, you drop it. And then you go to your stick magazines. This gives you the firepower you need to hopefully break the back of whoever it is that's attacking you.
if it's a prepared ambush. If it's a hasty situation or if it's a point of contact, it's still nice to have the extra firepower because you're having to reorganize and maneuver usually in what's considered an accidental contact. For air defense, here's another thing. Ain't nothing like 120 men, each one with 75 rounds, that they can dump into an aerial target like a helicopter or a fixed wing coming in low. Volume fire counts. And contrary to Hollyweird and all the BS with all the movies,
Things that fly drop out of the sky. That simple. Stay with Rob, stay right where you are. Yeah, I got one other quick question. That's good. Okay, stereo, we're gonna go to break. And Larry's right here with me still. This is Mark. We're in the intel report. Second hour, first break. We'll be back in three minutes on We the People. Ready to work. when we are back pokerface.com rather die than be your slave is the name of that. Okay, get your pen and papers ready. And we still got Rob, we got Mike Nasser here, and Mike's gonna be covering medical support. We're gonna be shifting that way. And again, forgive me, Mike's been so patient some days, because we get into other subjects, but we're gonna be working on getting Mike up here even more often. And he's gonna have an hour program of his own here pretty soon, guys, by the way, along with many other men helping him out with our medical issues. So get ready for that, it's gonna happen.
Anyway, first of all, Kurt Tonkins, the bed fan guy. Here's his number, 210-632-210. If you are a person who has a need with sleep issues especially, again, for people who have medical support issues, this is a solution.
This is not just air moving through at less than room temperature and chilling underneath your covers. The idea behind this is to regulate the temperature to the need of the patient or the individual who is, of course, needing relief. So I can't stress this. Burn victims, individuals who may have had
different types of allergic reactions or it may have ongoing allergic reactions. Some people have different types of skin disorders where the sheets actually, and I hate to say people like the subject, but it's virtually the tissue sticks to the bed sheets.
partially what happens is the drying process. Well, if you can keep this skin cool or you know keep it at temperature and actually alleviate some of those problems by drying the skin to a degree, then this eliminates some of those problems. So I'm giving you ideas. A lot of people don't have to deal with medical issues like this, but there are some people that do. Guys that have been burned, people who have different physiological disorders that may create temperature changes in the body. Ladies at certain ages, women have to deal with this too.
talking about there. Now I know we got Rob, hold on just a second here I'm going to give this out again and again you know they don't advertise with us I hate to say it and I mentioned gun parts I sent a lot of different companies GunPartsGuy.com does 360-906-8369 and the man does an excellent job dealing with the F and FAL. However there are certain things when I see stuff that's cheap and again this is not the Gun Parts Guy area of interest
but there's a lot of other tidbits laying around and Rob's question was about, you know, basically what would I do to change the AK? Well not a whole lot, a basic AK out of the box by the way. I'd run with it if I, right in a heartbeat, in a moment's notice. All I have to do is check to make sure the magazines are loaded. Well what, I would love to do a systems check to make sure that everything is squared away, make sure everything's tight.
uh... but if i didn't i'm pretty well know that an eight eight picked up quick his chances are going to work unless it's been cobbled or played with in some way that i know that's really unusual they case are very forgiving weapons i've seen some just like with s k s is that literally have been in rice paddies for months they look just like somebody like they were hit they look like they were hit by the blood from from one of the critters and aliens
on the outside literally, you know, dollops of metal just eaten away because rice paddies contrary to what you all think are not water. Rice paddies have to have like nutrients. So you see the old honey wagons from town, the septic, everybody's chuckling here, they don't wanna know. The honey wagons from town, the septic field next door, it all gets dumped into those rice paddies guys. So if you had smell-o-vision, you wouldn't go near the rice paddies normally. You get my drift?
When the stuff goes in there, highly acid, all kinds of different, you know, pools and pockets of highly corrosive or at least corrosion-promoting materials are in there. What happens is you leave a weapon in that or a cash a weapon or drop a weapon in there. It looks pretty impressive when it's done. I've pulled AKs up that the outside look terrible, but the chrome bore in the chamber look just like they came out of the factory.
and yes I've dared to shoot some of those and actually where they worked even under those conditions. Well, if we are things to change or that can be added if they're not on the weapon, an AK-74 type muzzle compensator slash flash hider is a good choice. Centerfire Systems 1-800-9501231 has a bunch of these things on sale for the AK-74 type system which by the way those will work on the regular AK same thread.
For the Mini-14s, the 10-22s, Mini-30s, SKSs and AKs. So you want to give them a call or you want to get a hold of their latest flyer or go to their website which is CenterFireSystems.com. Now, I promised I would give these serial numbers out and here they are. This to me the best buys for the money for you to grab a bunch of stuff real quick without, for your AK, if you have an AK out there. Same CenterFire Systems. It's the AK accessory pack.
that's got all the goodies in it to include the stock that I was talking about, a Romanian SVD type stock for the AK-40, the standard AK-47 family of rifles. The number is 127, AKA, CC, PKG. One more time, it's 127, AKA, CC, PKG.
That's the first one. It's $14.99. Now, here's the other one. It's 127 PKG. 127 PKG replacement trigger, spare pins, pivots, of course, sear, the spare
gas piston and a spare pistol grip. Now, you're going to go, well Mark, why don't you do the pistol grip? We just changed the stock. Well, you may not change the stock. And a spare pistol grip is nice to have anyway. You're going to break things. Hey guys, why wait until they break and they go, oh my goodness, what do I do? When you're buying this stuff for pennies, who cares? $9.99. The gas piston is worth $9.99.
but all the rest of the parts are internals. For $9.99, you're starting to build another AK up if you keep collecting parts. Anyway, that's 127PKG-G for 99 cents. Now here's another thing, right now at Centerfire, it's $9.99 shipping for however much you buy, which means that you can buy a whole pile of stuff and get it shipped for little or nothing.
for $9.99 unlimited shipping and that's right now for the holiday season I guess up until the you know first of January. This is the same company by the way that has the airsoft training arms that I've been emphasizing for quite some time have an HK 91 knockoff for $8.99. I cannot stress enough get one they call it the full length sniper battle rifle what it is an HK 91 knockoff for $8.99 that's a
a whole lot of rifle training to familiarize yourself with the HK family of rifles. Number two, an Airsoft model. It's a Kar-15 M4 type knockoff. $14.99, the price of a magazine. Yes, you remember for that is 127AS-217. Get these, train with them. Teach yourself how to use these rifles. This is an excellent way to do it.
Anyway, take a look at their sail fliers. Remember, the sail fliers don't match the website. The website doesn't match the sail fliers and that there are some things that are in one that aren't in the other. Get hold of both. But I gave you the idea. So now we caught up to that point. Rob, you've been so patient again. Rob, go ahead. OK, real quick question. At China Mart, I saw these little plastic, almost kind of like the luminescent things that go on your site. Do you know what I'm talking about?
Are they phosphorescent or are they just simply light plastic? They're little plastic but they're almost like fiber optic, colored fiber optic. Oh yes, so they are more accented. Yeah, they'll take an available light, okay. Okay, will they work on an AK? Have you tried those? Do they work? No, I haven't tried them. Typically what we've only done is choice of color for accented your rear sight and your front sight are all that I've done there.
I wouldn't change much on the AK, the barley corn with the front sight post with the shield. I'd pretty well stick with that except maybe if you want to color anything, color just the back of the sight where you're going to see it and you can do that with model paint. Okay, thank you.
And again, we're right at the break again. I cover so much and I know we got Mike Neser here and we're going to be covering medical subjects. We got Larry, of course, helping me and the rest of the guys here on We the People Radio Network. We'll be back in about three minutes. Fabrique Nesenell makes a rifle known as the Fusil Automatic Leger or Light Automatic Rifle considered to be the right arm of what's left of the free world.

We have all kinds of other exciting things going on. I'm looking in three directions at once here. We've got all kinds of other exciting things going on. But my only problem with that episode, I know Star Trek guys. You're the Klingons. They're not fast people, I guess. But I think the Klingons are fast enough to figure out if they haven't run anybody on the ship. And they get to the bridge. And they hear a machine going, five, four,
Three? I don't think you'd take them three from to figure out maybe it'd be time to, you know, leave the area of operation and get off the ship. But, ah, well, they're Klingons, what can I say? Those are the ones that didn't challenge the commander, though, Mark. That's true. He'd lick his boots. And soon they didn't have to worry about it at all. Oh yes, the S-Men, as we see in the New World Order, click much in the same way. But the, um...
Hopefully you've given people ideas. I can't stress enough. Number one, I'm going to put out an order I've been saying to many people. Do not use any of your standard ARMS right now at all. Don't use any of your 223. Don't use any of your 308. Don't expend any ammunition at all. You're going to need it.
These airsoft weapons, the reason I brought them up is this is a solution for you to train and in fact, if I were working in volume right now, and I had to, that's what I mentioned in another program here, take five of these airsoft weapons, make up an indoor range in the basement, out in the pole barn, wherever you got a space, tape them off, make this an event, take your people, bring five people in that you're gonna teach, designate five instructors, make sure that they all understand the program for instruction.
designate a range officer and use these airsoft weapons for rapid familiarization with great, not going to blow anybody's toes off, you're not going to put a hole through anything with the airsoft pellets. What you are going to do is get basic fit, feel, and performance. Also, you're focusing on rifle marksmanship, you're focusing on stance, you're focusing on control of the weapon, you can focus on breathing, sight picture,
Everything that these weapons, these mock weapons are supposed to do, they will do. So you're able to familiarize with three arms here. I know this is medical day, but real quick, we're gonna make, the idea is make casualties of the other side too. These Airsoft, there's a HK91 knockoff, $8.99 less than the price of an AR-15 magazine. MP5, $12.99, the price of an AR-15 magazine. $14.99 for an M4 AR-15 knockoff.
the price of an AR-15 magazine, $14.99. So we're talking for, let's see, $20, well, $15, so there's $28 for dies. For $27, you have three basic weapons to teach someone with. You buy a bunch of the BBs, you put a cardboard box behind the impact area and you collect all the BBs when you're done with them and you recycle them.
Now that's a hell of a lot better than burning a lot of brass trying to teach somebody basic familiarization with a weapon. Now, once they've got enough, you feel that they've grasped the concept of the arm and you have indoctrinated them with proper weapon safety, you can then graduate to the range with a weapon that actually goes kaboom, that works. I will say this, I would practice with the aerosol for now, do not use any of your 223, do not use any of your 308,
let the other side consume their ammunition, save yours. If you're going to take and go to the range to play, go to the store, buy another 500-g. brick of 22 ammo, and burn some of that out. If you want to feel good. That's going to be your first best choice. In main battle rifle, in light carbine, and in any of your standard battlefield cartridges, I would say save the ammo, because we are going to need it, and there is a shortage. So we're looking at a war. Our ambition is to win. These are the tools we can use to win. Now,
Meanwhile, we've been putting holes and making the bad guys leak, but Mike, we may have a few rounds coming back down our way. I think we can figure that's going to happen. So we're going to have to deal with casualties, and that's why we got you here. Please, sir, go right ahead. What are we covering today? Okay, well, we're going to try to finish up on our medical abbreviations. And, you know, some people might want to ask, you know, what do we cover in medical abbreviations? And, you know, these are some of the building blocks and a good all medical understanding.
When I was in basic training long before I was issued a rifle, we were training about bands covered the other day. And I know that you use them all the time without even thinking about it. Now in the future, as these instruction blocks, and become more intense, you need to have, you must have a good working knowledge of these basic building. Some of the subjects we all cover, we're gonna name certain body parts when the female and other lessons are gonna start covering certain body parts.
function. You know medicine is not an exact does not always work on patient B. You can leave your vanity at the door, forget about your teach tumor. It's the 18th of October so you know I'm going to encourage everybody to go to wtprn.com, go to the archives, go to these classes, pass them out to your friends and not only these but all of the rest of the information that marks been put a Monday through Friday all the way back as far as you can access them.
one of these days in the future we're going to need these. Five-minute lesson while we get going. What is the nation of instruments and dressings? Either an item is sterile or it's not. There is no in-between. All materials to be sterilized must be clean, free of oil, and in good working order. Now you're going to label your sterile when they are packed. Now they should be packaged loosely but secure
when they've been removed from the laser and then they'll be outdated sometimes if the humidity is high. Now articles that are going to be disinfected by boiling or chemical solutions, the solution must cover the item and then you're going to have to put a lid on top of it. Now some of the different methods for sterilization, you can if you happen to have an autoclave that's fine. Now if you don't have an autoclave you can use a pressure cooker.
in mind now a pressure cooker or the autoclave is going to organisms including spores, Australia botulinus. It has a hard side of it and going to kill those are going to be pressure. So right now, temperature and the pressure they much must reach a minimum in PSI 250 degrees Fahrenheit for value. I would also suggest if you're using a pressure cooker you maintain approximate in PSI.
Now you're going to allow 30 minutes for instrument and linen plus drying. 15 minutes for rubber goods plus. Now if you don't happen to have an auto-clave or a pressure cooker, recommend getting the older one that has a dial on it that you can actually see. Some of the newer ones, you can set or something. The old ones where they had a big heavy lid and it's got the sun and they have a dial on it. So make sure you try to look around for one. If you don't have that, we can use dry heat. You can do this in your oven.
And now this is going to be used for ointments, oil, and instruments and needles. Be careful because it can be destructive to time on your dry heat. Ointments 100 and 20 minutes at 300 and square instruments and needles, 20 degrees. So I'll go back over this again. Now if you're using a pressure to be
15 psi at 250 degrees for 15 minutes and I suggest maintaining at least 17 psi so you'll get a good average there. And I hear the music coming in and we're going to kick back in here when the program returns in a couple minutes so hang around. Come back to the Intel report. You've got Mark Kornke and I'm Larry Lawson. We're talking about medical procedures and sterilizing instruments. Start looking around yard sales for pressure cookers or hay, which is something that I'm adding to my vocabulary. Mike, you want to pick up where you left off? Very good. Keep an eye out if your college is in your university. Sometimes they have property sales. You might be able to pick up through one of those for on the dollar. And the nice thing is, is what we were talking about,
And since you're out in the field and you only have in the field, but if you have an auto, the only drawback is, then you're going to have to have the source to plug that into a generator or something. We're going to finish up here on our medical abbreviations and hopefully we'll have a little bit of time to run some lessons on tribes together. If not, always have next week. So starting off here in the S as a few of them that we had covered the other day. T stands ID stands times a day.
and a small x stands unit. I stands WB, WO means without. If a line over top of it means small WT equal line or pointing upward and increase, wide end pointing to the left means greater than, then continue. DC and a milliliter are the same. PT covered the other day and another thing and we're going to touch on here on the end.
When we're assessing a patient, or the patient comes to you, we're going to try to keep this mind. We're going to call it soaping a patient. S comes up, and we call this the subject lines of, which is our objective, going to be what we've put it together, and see then that's going to be put down there, and then the T going to be the plan. And then we can also use these other abbreviations, change the drink in Q24 hours.
PIB or anything like that. So get used to using these then we'll be able to messages and we'll be able to communicate from somebody was injured out in the field and the medic so Italian aid station they don't have to read down through pages of else and the patient said that they heard a loud pop would be maybe something else so he real short how they're going to be treated. Let's try this in real quick. Now one of the things to think about is their casualty time is of the essence.
So the abbreviations come in, especially when you're trying to deal quickly and to communicate to another specialist or another doctor that may be or a medical person that we have a specific issue, here's what we've done or here's what we may not have done. And then he can do a more rapid evaluation to respond quickly to the patient's needs. That's the key behind this, isn't it?
Oh, absolutely. It works on both ends because it's going to save you time when you're treating. Say, for instance, you've got four or five people to treat. You don't have time to sit down and write out some great big dissertation. And then when the person gets evacuated to a rear-air, he doesn't have time to read through all that stuff. It's real because you're using that form in line with that. And then also then we're going to incorporate. Plug right into that is think about it this way. You have, I'm bringing a casualty in. Mike's bringing people in from another location.
What's happening is we're funneling typically to a central treatment or a series of central treatment sites. Imagine the nightmare if there isn't an abbreviation process in place for the people who are receiving casualties from multiple locations, which is what this is also assisting in. This is preserving the precious time of these specialists or these medical support personnel so that they can get their job done and treat all of the casualties efficiently. That's one of the big, big
pluses here because you're bringing all the casualties into one central area, they're going to have to start moving these bodies through to get the people properly treated and they need our assistance to make sure it's done right. And also then like I said, it's going to cut down on the time to transmit this information. There's less of a possibility that any information is going to be lost and it's just going to streamline the system much better.
in the long run. Now again, one of the things here too, there is a, what are the basic manuals that you would recommend that people should be reviewing again to get into the subject? Because there's a lot of people listening over doing just that. Okay, I would, one that I like and it's small, it's about the size of a paperback book, is the United States Army Special Forces Medical Handbook and that's S.T.
31-91B. And I've got to find my bibliography here. I'd also recommend getting a Mark manual. There's two different versions. And there's also a family edition. You can get these at the bookstore. Most of the time, at just a regular civilian bookstore, you can find the family edition. If you happen to live by a college that has a nursing or a medical program, you can usually get the more advanced one. I'd also recommend getting both of them.
Anyway, depending on your expertise, but after you've utilized the family edition one, then the medical professional one, it gives a lot more in-depth things about IVs and which one's the type of antibiotics and how to give them and everything. Also use a lot of these abbreviations. Another one that I would recommend is F21-10, the old hygiene and sanitation.
The Robert recommended one is called the American Medical Association Handbook and the ISBN number is 0-9-2-9. The man is getting a tabopedic, SBN, goes into certain aspects a lot in depth about myocardial infarctions and a lot of other things.
And I hear the music coming in so as we wrap up this program today I ask you one thing question mark is next Tuesday's Christmas Oh, well, we'll probably be off for Christmas. So let's figure on that but we will be back next Thursday We'll be fruit. We're sure we'll have you up Thursday So that Mike that sounds like a plan got very less the Republic. Yes to the New World Order We shall prevail who raw the Empire's on the run
We are on the mark both day and night Six bandits chasing down the road getting the backpack full of rocks. We'll patch up our people say don't leak We'll make sure the other side leaks a lot more. Thank you Mike. Thank you, Larry. Thank you. Thank you, Mark. Thank you Larry. God bless and good night
