Summary
Mark Koernke discussed radio modification techniques for emergency communication, emphasizing caution about out-of-band transmissions and FCC interference concerns. He then shifted to "Weapons Wednesday," providing detailed shopping lists and sourcing information for ammunition, magazines, and reloading equipment, including AK-74 magazines from What a Country Inc., MAS 49 rifle magazines, and reloading supplies from Hornady and Graf & Sons. Callers asked about AK and SKS rifle modifications, stock replacements, and magazine options, which Koernke addressed with specific product recommendations and company contacts.

I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free.
and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. Invist the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent.
Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled.
You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn.
and your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave?
O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame.
For even now as tyrants trampled each god-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave?
South, Southwest, East and gentlemen you're listening to us on We the People radio network, wtprn.com. We're also on Liberty Tree Radio, dot4mg.com. And I just want to urge everybody to be very, very careful to this kind of stuff, because first of all, these radios are not even designed for that. They're used to get them to go out of band. Because the transmitters are not normally designed to go out of band, you run an increasing risk of spurtly with this business of low-power aft. Right. I think the guy behind it, something I've talked about before, and this is what I want to mention, is that
Where we're discussing using the AM and FM bands for that type of broadcast would not be constant broadcasting or for any kind of regular, you know, hourly use. What I think more or less what I'm interested in is, again, everybody has an AM and FM radio. If there's a situation, let's say that you saw a boom on the horizon, a big boom. Yeah. And let's say we don't know what it is. Everybody switches to 98.6 FM.
On that frequency, you or I use it as an emergency transmitter with a specific phonetic code. This is an item 1, item 2. Whatever it is that's broadcast, you know, a response needed, you know, immediately or immediately action. In other words, you can use it for a bar with what you're saying about not using it for constant micro FM use because we have transmitters. Right now, Ramsey makes a number of different kits.
We have independents that have made very clean kits and what you're talking about is harmonic frequencies up and down the scale that will be produced which will create cause. Now that's one of the problems that the flyers at the FCC have done several times in the past. Well we think there was interference which they know is BS. What they do is they think. What do you mean they think? It's either they do know or they don't know. And that's one of the things about these lying thieves you've gotten to pirate operations. The scum lie all the time.
have good equipment and again what this is for what he's talking about with clipping and modifying this a lot of guys have done this with different equipment. We can do this even with AM and FM radios that are just receivers. I'll give you an example I've mentioned many times. Let me see if I have it right here in this drawer right here. There's an AM FM small box. In fact I have a box comparable to it right here. It's about this about eight inches wide.
about six inches tall, maybe seven sometimes, and about an inch and a half thick. It's a standard GE radio. Now that board has been used for hundreds of radios for years by all kinds of knockoff brands. Well the thing is that normally it's an AM-FM shortwave radio. And as we know, most of the, all the technology is on the board, but what they sometimes do is they'll throw a couple jumpers in just to limit or restrict the capability of the radio. Well by popping a few jumpers and then replacing the jumpers, you know in other words rerouting them,
Yeah. We could switch the radio over so that even if it is just a regular AM-FM $11.90 special off the shelf made by GE, it could listen to shortwave radio. Now, and that's just in receivers. Now, the sensitive part is what we're talking about from yesterday, is that we don't want to be using equipment that was not designed for constant use, number one, and we have to be careful with we might generate a secondary frequency if we do modify.
frequency testing and whatever and a lot of people have done that. There's information in the radio magazines for modification where people have done this in the industry for years. So I understand what you're saying. I appreciate the concern. I'm just urging people to be very very careful because you know first of all the one thing you got to understand with ham rigs is they're even going to do the bus signal through that receiver through the through a regular FM radio. You know about the most you're going to get out of it is that would be pushed on the ham bands but you're not going to get 70
five out of it right we've got the big thing there would be for instance one of the tricks of one of our people's use is an audio frequency on the just noise maker another is about like a like a tone system that you would hear so that when they hear the tone they know that an emergency status something is happening and then they can go to other local uh... say handheld radio system there in fact you a chance to use cbs so what it is is something where everybody can be tuning in the building they see that the radio's auto program they have the auto program
frequency that's monitored and if they go to it and they hear the be de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de
what you would run into on an FM radio if you tried to key the transmit into the FM bay. In her mind, she would still have in order to hear that broadcast to turn that radio way up. Exactly. There's something that he was addressing too, the idea that using or having, even if you did this, because of the
the broad range of transmission capability that we'd have to have different antennas on hand and you'd be switching from one to the other and there are little switcher boxes for that but that's another issue altogether. We're not too intricate right now but the idea is that there are solutions but we have to be, as you said, cautious of the side effects, there we go, better effect, the side effects of different systems being modified. But it's good to know that it's possible to do this because a lot of people have stuff sitting on the shelf
or have run into things that they can access, then they should know their full potential. That's the other option. Guys out there right now, whether we like them or not, we've got to learn to exist with them. And boy, you want to touch and trouble quicker than anything is throwing any harmonics into the VHF area. When you get around Oscota, you get around Lansing, Michigan. The Oscota retransmitter that bounces it around so they can push the signal that much farther. And if you get on one of these
input frequencies of these translators. You want to have them come down on you like Stink on manure, set up shop on one of the input for these translators. Solution, if you're looking for frequencies, there is a website called radio-locator that has an un-frequency database, cader.com, and if you go in there, they show what frequencies are used and they also have an unused frequency database. Exactly. I don't know how often they look pretty current to me.
and just do a search for it if you want to on the net or just pull it up straight. That's the one at an ER. Make sure you, uh, make sure you, uh, I'll tell you what, if you can, uh, keep us up to date. How are things going with the, uh, there's a favorite place we like to eat here in town and we know the person that runs it real well. This guy, the radio stuff, Mark, I said, you know, it's me, but you guys, you put out stuff, various others will call in and tell you things that are happening on this radio station to date. As we did one time, we had, um,
that a lot of this problem with the gas prices. Now look where we are. We're on our way possibly to $6 a gallon gas before it's all over the way things are going. And we gotta say shame on America for being talking to the idea that we could wage war on people so we could get a few pennies off our gallons of gas. And in reality we're paying the price double and triple now, aren't we? You got it Mark.
Well thank you Sam. You bet, thank you. God bless. Bye bye. We're going to go to break two ladies and gentlemen. This is the Intel Report Live. It is Wednesday. We'll be back in about three minutes on wtprn.com.

This is Weapons Wednesday. Now get your pen and paper ready people because we are going to go right down the shopping list here of things you need. I can find a solution, I do. Number one, a lot of you have the AK-74s. You did exactly what we recommended. Congratulations. We're eating up all the 545 ammunition out there and putting hands of the people. That is also lots of AK mags, or I should say lots of AK-74s in whatever variation going out.
uh... well here's a solution for magazines now we're shopping around trying to find who has what these are the east german mags now let me tell you something years ago i told everybody by these things because they're we are we were getting him for it seventy five cents a dollar apiece he goes well why would you want to keep something for a man they don't have any a case of the fours out right now okay hello uh... when the mags in the animal become plentiful the rifles mysteriously show up all mclaughlin
They ain't 75 cents or a dollar anymore as you all know So this is one of those G a whole bunch cheap invested in them Well, there's one source like on Eastern mags right now that I found it appears they have them in stock Now we need to do a little test but to find out more if you can The company name is so what a country incorporated what a country I'm telling you now this probably Russian Mafia or could be you know, Israeli Russian Mafia who knows
When I see a name like that, it's like whenever you see American or whenever you see USA, whatever, usually it's Arab, okay? Most of you probably haven't realized that, but think about it. It's like, hey, we'll try to be as American as we can, but in almost always they're overseas owned. Anyway, these guys have AK-74 mags new, and then of course they're new East German. Out of business, they're all Germany again, even though they're the orphan that's left off to the right. 5'4", 5' by 39, these are beautiful magazines, by the way.
stripper guides. I don't think those are laying around anymore that I've seen any quantity. The K74 mags 30-round East German Bakelite Nuke, beautiful plastic. WC-25 is the serial number. WC-25 is the serial number. $12.95 a piece. Not bad for AK-74 mags. And these are military AK-74 mags, the originals, the ones that work. Well, all the others do too, but these are the ones that were made first and they were made a little heavier in many ways.
Also, they were made in the phenolic brown colored plastics so that the Bakelite with a steel hull internal so you couldn't mix them up between the two. You wouldn't make a mistake and grab an AK-47 mag and try to stick it in an AK-74 and vice versa. So, AK-74 mags from East German Bakelite WC-25, $12.95 a piece.
If any of you have the MAS 49 rifles, now these came in in the 90s and very cheap by the way, about $125 to $150 a piece. I'm talking to a very special crowd here. If you got the MAS 49, get X while they're available. MAS 49 mags, WC-24 is the serial number for this particular item, $14.95 a piece. These are for the .308 rifle. You got to specify 7.5 or .308 to let them know, make sure they know.
49s are out there 95 apiece specified caliber serial numbers WC-24 a lot of other items get their flyers find out what's going on with this company now here's the number to call 9 correction correction 9 or 9 there we go mark's getting it right 9 4 9 7 7 0 9 4 7 7 0 8 8 8 collector item
I mean unique items, not only is this much collector, but if you've got a certain arm, they've got all kinds of trinkets of course listed. All the little goodies that round out your equipment so that it works. But the big thing that jumped out at me here is AK-74 mags, very good price, very good item. East German manufactured, WC-25 is the serial number, cost is $12.95. I think that the more you buy, the cheaper they get. So if you're going to get, if you have an AK-74, and you've already been picking up the ammo,
Here is another source for magazines. One more time, the number is 94777-www.whatacountry.com. Okay? www.whatacountry.com. Now for Americans to try to import this stuff, they do. But because it's, you know, foreign nationals doing it all, next best thing, sliced white bread as far as Washington's concerned. So what the heck? Let's grab it while we can. You're talking well-made components and parts. All the other sources we have aren't
but this is something off the shelf because I saw that the mags are in stock. You know if I'm wrong on that because I know you guys have been grabbing a lot of the stuff up and we're starting to heat them up completely. The inventory, which is expected, congratulations, that means you're doing your job. There are millions more people looking at these weapons, so there are a lot of other people trying to pick up the same. Use common sense and make sure you get what you need. Make up a list of what it is that's in your I need. Make sure one step at a time you fill up the I need slot with the I got slot. Okay, I got, I got.
It's that simple. For reloading, and this is one of the things that a lot of people have asked, well, where do we go to find reloading equipment? Well, there's a number of companies out there. And for bullets, for reloading presses, just a matter of course, what your interest is, bullets and brass are available, with the cost of .308 ammunition being where it is, people will start getting the brass and build up your reloading capability. Deep press, I don't care if you get a RCBS press, I don't care.
here if you get a Dylan press whatever you're going to do they're all good guys the machinery works or they wouldn't be selling it. Now people have preferences because they can afford certain things so they'll push you in a certain way and that's a great idea. If you have somebody helping you in there maybe they want you to go a certain way with technology. Okay go that way because commonality of parts and equipment is a good thing within your element. Okay but if budget is an issue
Remember, LEA presses are typically the cheapest. There's lots and lots of them out there. The dies are reasonable. And the idea is to be able to do something. O-press or a C-press is your best choice. Well, here's one of the several. I'm going to give a couple different company names out here. You contact them and find out what they have in stock. The O-presses are durable. They're tough. They can do more when it comes to full case resizing or for reshaping and sizing of brass. You're bringing one type of brass to another. Let's say, you got busted
through 30 out six cases. Well guess what? If the lip is split or the damage, the three is short enough that you can actually reshape that 30 out six case to 308 NATO. Now don't take really don't take brand new or virgin brass and turn it from 30 out six to 308. We need the 30 out six, but start sizing and routing the cases. If something is damaged or if it's dented badly and crushed at the top, see the throat of the case, that's a volunteer for the
programs. You take that case, put it over into the category 2 bucket, and once you get enough of them collected, you resize those Out6 cases that are damaged at the top row, say in the shoulder, and turn them into 308 cases from 30 Out6. Once you have a problem with them being 308 cases, you can cut them down to 44 automag or you can cut them down to 45 ACP. See, I just keep reusing and reusing and reusing, can I? Yes, you can. As long as you pay attention and look at the dimensions,
Get into reloading, do some studying. There are some excellent inexpensive books out there at the gun shows on how to resize and reshape and it gives you the dimensions for all the cases and the specs for loading. 9 by 11, they're like the old paperback books, but big. Anyway, we're going to go to the break. This is the Intel report, bottom of the hour live. It's Weapons Wednesday. Keep your pen and paper handy. We've got a lot more to go over. We'll be back in three minutes.
People who use cardivite know about the pollutants in our body and want them out. For over five years, cardivite has proven itself time-tested. Here's Dr. Mattson, a naturopathic doctor's thoughts on cardivite. In our mind, there isn't such a great big mystery to disease anymore. This basic Canada of yeast and the gut and metals and the liver covers at least 7-8% of the diseases that we see. When we do our program, you know, herbal formula is like cardivite and you see someone who could barely walk up a hill now going for regular jobs.
few months later, we know we're doing something right. It's a well thought out formula. I mean, the idea of it working on yeast and metals both at the same time and liver function is dead on. You'll find, I think, that it'll work more than just on heart problems and circulation problems. It'll work on other problems as well. When you're doing reloading, we need little factories all over the United States. We need millions of them. That's what your little manufacturing process can do by having the on hand. Once you've got the machinery and once you have the basic tools, especially the dies, ladies and gentlemen, you can figure out how to make the components and fabricate from what needs to be done from whatever resources are on hand. Improvised, adapt, overcome is the basic motto of reloaders. Cheap, mean,
means you go to the range for less money and you have more fun. That's why for years, cop shops were always buying for reloaders because you could reload a box of 50 rounds for about $2 a box. Now, lead combination they came up with as long as it was consistent, by the way, none of them, everybody cringed. I'm certain, no, I know, but we adapt as we have resources available. Of recycling bins comes to reshaping for things and remolding for things. The copper plumbing department gives you all of the jackets
sleeves that you need. Once you have a reloading system in place and for instance you have a bullet stage and other good stuff, tools, you'll find out more as you learn more about. Think about what you can do with shelf to make projectiles, to make your cases last. Never throw any empty, expended case away. Every manufactured item we can get our hands on in quantity. AK-74 brass of steel, it gets saved. Question steel, it gets saved. Also, that's perdaming, it gets saved.
you will find eventually that you will either A, where you can buy bardin primers and reload bardin but it's more work and everybody gets used to being, well guess what, as you're seeing ammunition is drying up, things are not going to be easy always. You need to save everything, dry and clean, it doesn't have to be fancy, save those 2 liter or 3 liter pop bottles that you can't turn back in, they're like juice bottles, whatever, wash them out, let them dry,
start filling them with empty cases and then put the lid on. Hey, look at that. It sits there in the stairs that you didn't cost anything. Milk jugs will work just as well. Just clean them out really good. Nobody likes the smell of curdled milk. Or big orange juice, half gallons and one gallon containers. Same thing. Hey, you already had to drink the best drink of orange juice. Now you got a container to put your empties in.
See how that works? You keep them dry, you keep them out of the environment, you keep them where you got them, you can sort them. You take a big old black magic marker, write out the caliber that's inside the gallon jug, and you can progressively sort to save time. Now you don't have to worry about catching up when the time comes. You know that all your basic out sixes, your 22 rim fires and another, and all your empty brass there, because you're going to use that for projection. Okay? Get your pen ready, another number, couple numbers.
Now this is for www.hornady.com www.hornady.com Go to their site, check things out, or call them 3821390 Again that's 308-821390 And of course they're located in Nebraska P.O. Box 1848-6802 and that's for Hornady
Okay, Hornady, they do bullets, they do presses, they do a little bit for many, many decades. So one more time, Hornady.com, that's W-W-W dot Hornady, H-O-R-N-A-D-Y dot com. The phone number is 308-1390. You gotta go cheap single stage presses, guys. It's a great way to go as far as I'm concerned because I'd rather have three or four presses side by side running that are single stage presses with a little production line going.
Then one machine that can have more little parts in it that can break. Now, for those of you who are more adept, more competent, you can be tool and diamond. You've got the capability to machine stuff. You can make parts when you need them. The simpler the machine, the longer it will run. Page press is running side by side by side or three running side by side by side. You make a little tray holder in the front that's like a trough and you can slide the tray forward. The operator pulls it.
runs the stuff through, it goes into the second tray on the right side. Look at that, it goes back up onto the tray holder, it gets pushed over into station B, into station C. By the time you're done, you have a packaging group at the end and you re-box your ammunition into something that will work for combat use or for general storage for range use. Almost like you knew what you were doing. So think it through people. If you've worked in a factory or if you've worked in production anyway,
Look at it, come up with a table, a bench, and make this work to your advantage. The other thing, the wife, the children, everybody can get involved in reloading. Everybody. You should all know anyway. While everybody else is busy with other tasks, people who have the skill can continue to reload as brass is available. We can extrude bullets, can machine bullets. There are so many ways to make the components. It's ridiculous.
and then we get into powders some other day but powder right now keep collecting, keep saving, keep collecting, keep saving. Watch at the gun shows for people who want to get rid of odd one pound cans of powder. If they want to get rid of it for cheap, you pick it up. Just make sure you pick up the old reloading books so you know what the powder does. Make this stuff work for you for reloading. Primers are another thing. Do not throw away old primers. Take that one gallon juice container again.
and dump all the old primers into there as you go. Try to separate them. It's a bugger trying to sort them out when you have to later on, but you will if you have to. But separate them by type, pistol and rifle, large and small. And the different combinations, make sure they're separated, mark on the container what they are. Primers can be reactivated, be rebuilt. Now, one other number here real quick. Make sure we got this. This is for another company. And Sons, www.grasp.com.
Again, that's www.grafscom.com and their phone number is, for technical info, 573-581-573-581-22681316. Again, 1-800-312-666. Reloading equipment, reloading technology.
You need sources, here's the place to go, but you also have your local gun shops, you also have the gun shows. Again, come up with a solution, but we've got several different directions. If you're in need of information, again, technical info, 573-581-2266, and get ahold of them, it's graph, G-R-A-F, and SUNS. Their website is www.grafs.com. Got that out? So you got the information.
Sam from Texas caller, I'm sorry, correction, correction. Rob from Texas, please, come on up. I didn't get to finish. I'm glad Sam called in because he brought up the things I didn't get to say. Number one is, yes, you definitely don't want to start messing around with a lot of the stuff right now. This is for fun and games. The reason I mentioned Alinco is because ICOM and Kenwood made it virtually impossible now to modify
So it was my point in which you said, yes, this is not for continuous use. You said maybe giving out some emergency information or something like that. But yeah, if you want to get a car cutter found that out, they will come down and you're like white on rice. You start messing around with frequencies. So yeah, that caveat.
up about the Lincoln 8 there or about the only ones left now that you can easily modify things. I'll tell you what Rob stay right there. Okay. Don't go anyplace. We're gonna go to our break. This is the Intel report live. We got Rob from Texas on the line. You get a chance. You want to call in 888-202-1984. We're gonna go to break. We'll be back in three minutes here on the Intel report.

Before we go any further, go ahead and explain to everybody again, because this way we haven't even got time, what we're talking about here with a quick modification of the radio to make it a little more useful for emergency purposes. There are several models of 2 meter and 40 centimeter radios out there for hand use. Now, right now you have to be licensed and it's very easy to get your license. Now you don't even have to code, exam, or anything. 5D, you can receive on it, but to transmit it is.
and the Kenwoods and Sun may be able to modify them. But on the Alinco you can modify it to and or transmit between 88 through the whole band 400 which in which you don't want to do because you know you don't want to jam those guys up trouble quickly. But what I was suggesting if we see a time very soon when Alinco probably will
buckle under and make it to where you can't modify these. So I'm just saying that this would be very very good for not continuous broadcasts, but probably if you're mobile, you know, mobile, this would be a good way to do it because like I said, everybody has an FM radio. So this is the whole thing I was trying to make. It's really more of the issue about the brand and the fact that... This started to really be cropping up in the late 80s and early 90s, most of the time the bush came into power.
uh... they hit a number of that they hit both they did is a pressure to number different companies to start restricting uh... technology so that we didn't have a this not so much that a government of course continues to rat and spy on the old whatever direction but uh... it's interesting that uh... radio companies a lot of which were very independent and small businesses that's one of the reasons uh... they would start to go after them to either stop producing a certain model or you know again alter the design and what they were allowed to do is use up their inventory
part of what transpired. It usually does with every one of these systems. They don't change the board because they had 10,000 of the boards already done. So when the boards are done and they run them out, then they have to switch over to the new design type if they're going to do anything. And we saw this with scanners. We've seen this with transmitter receiver radios. They had the capability to go up and down quite extensively. Another one was with frequency scanners.
the same thing happened there. And there, so there again, what you got to do is shop around. Eventually, as these do not become available, there's still the other radios that were produced in the past around a lot of people bought them and just bought a second one to have as a backup. And then they start playing with other rigs. And so they'll sell usually what they have laying on the shelf, because they're going to get another backup or a second radio of the type that they're going to. We can find them laying around. We can find you go to these ham first. Sometimes you can find those this old stuff.
especially like you said the scanners you could no longer modify them to where they could get into trunk systems especially. I do have a weapons question mark. I've got an AK and an SKS. The AK I think Mr. Klushnikov to punish Westerners. Is there any good replacement stock for that? As a matter of fact now if you get ahold of the Gun Parts Guy at gunpartsguy.com and his number by the way is 360
9 0 6 8 3 6 9 he can answer that he might have something on the shelf because even though he specializes in FAL he also covers other items, but there's a number of companies You know I was thinking about actually move there. Let's see it might have something right here Let me look there's a there are a couple companies that are producing replacement stocks either in again Zytel nylon They produce some in laminated wood
and they make what there's one system uses the series of space yes we can make this the fester and the western uh... forces a little more efficiently they they made the the stock to fit a general size and allowed for the fact that a good portion of the population is between five foot two and rah so that was expected and again you as we know the a k is are being carried by indonesians vietnamese and then all the way up to uh... finlanders and western by eastern block that uh... pretty good-sized people the checks are small but uh...
There are solutions, most of them are American, they're not foreign. One of the companies, let me see if I can find it here, we got me dropped on that one. If I can't find a red whale, I'll have to put it up by the next hour. But yes, there are replacements for it. One of the things I've done with many of the AKs to help people when they've been working on them, is we switched over to the Zytel Nylon Dragunov type stocks. I know a lot of people like the standard pistol grip, but one of the advantages of doing this, and you might even consider this, is you make the button
stronger by creating a second point of contact because the beaver board on the AK it's not going to break every time but if you if you have to put your weight on it you can pop it and just you can do that with any rifle stock anyway so the cool thing was we were going to build these stocks back before the band remember they had the you must have you can't have a pistol grip and all blah blah blah blah blah
And we were just getting ready to make AK stocks in laminate form. I had a wood board beaver here, a wood manufacturer, who was actually laying down the prints. We were going to do pressure laminate the whole nine yards. And then lo and behold, because of the restriction, everybody started sending in their rifles with the thumb hole stock system, or the dragon off type system. I would actually recommend that. I know it's a little extra weight to the back. But the advantage is this, that the two or three that are out there,
actually have the adjustment pads in them. They're already built in. In fact, I think Center Fire System has the stocks. CenterFireSystems.com and their number is 1-800-250 and there's other companies. LLC is another one. Allow you adjust to, you know, for men, women, small people, big people, whatever. The other advantage is you'll get a better cheek weld, you get a better rest there with, are using optics on it? No. Oh well, iron sights, fine.
There's a number of different options there like I said the dust cover fillies You know you drop the optics if you want to when you go right back to iron Okay, the other question I have I have a pre 89 SKS add the bag on there and which is or get 20 round thick well There's problems with those there's a company there. That's a good point now center fire has these again They make a 10 they were making a 20, but when I checked yesterday You know it's strange you bring this up because this is this is big like mines
I was checking on 20 rounders and I couldn't find anybody who had them in stock in the newer AK Magazine type design with the bridge, you know, with the tip, with the arm. They do have the 10s, but if you're going to go to a 10, you might as well go to the standard SKS Magazine. Personally, if you want to go back to the 10, I would go back to the 10 and stick with that for the time being until if you're not satisfied with the solution with the 30 rounders.
Wasn't there one made that would accept AKA
Yes, there was. Where this came from was it was a transition rifle for the Chinese. They could get magazines, but the Russians were not letting anybody make a contract AK. So the Chinese, being the improvisers, said, hey, we can take the AK magazine, put it on the SKS. And they did. Because they get mags, but they couldn't get rifles, make rifles. So what they did to make up for the fact that they'd been building SKS's for quite some time is they actually made
a magazine fed SKS. It came into the country for a bit, typically with a thumb hole stock, and it really is a nice little package. Yeah. They work. Okay, thanks a lot Mark. No, you're welcome, Rob. Okay, bye. God bless. And again, the 10-round mag, you just carried lots of SKS stripper clips. They're very lightweight by comparison to a 30-round mag, and the stripper clips will work with the mags for reloading them. We'll cover that if we come back in the hour here. This is the Intel report. God bless the Republic. Death of the New World Order. We shall prevail.
The Empire is on the run. We are on the march. God bless, and we'll be back in six minutes. Did you read this? Chicago just became the murder capital of America. I don't understand. It's been a felony to have a gun since 95. I thought that was supposed to prevent murders. Unincrease them. Criminals will always find a way to get guns, while the rest of us are just left defenseless.
Chicago authorities have seized over 75,000 firearms since 1995. And now, Chicago's murder rate is twice as high as New York City. Tonight, while you're asleep, criminals will be at work. Not in Kennesaw, Georgia. In 1982, our city passed a law requiring every household to have a gun. It terrified the criminals, and our violent crime rate is now 75% below the national average. We sleep well here in Kennesaw.
Americans who own guns prevent over a million violent crimes every year and save lives. Get the facts. Visit armedandsecure.org. That's armedandsecure.org.
