I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republic in each God-given right. And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the midst for once he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now his parents trampled each God-given right. We only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, Dyl the Land of the Free? a very small safety, but that was a requirement laid down by the Europeans. If he'd had his way, the Browning High Parrot would have the same basic safety and operations features as the 1911. It would have been, again, a tapered, high-commented tapered slide, high-capacity magazine pistol, and it would have been perfect. But, I mean, as far as 9mm, we know, hey guys, 9mm 45, it's a good idea if you're doing people stopping, just stick with the 45. had your choice of getting shot with one take the nine yeah i'd take nine the forty five is the p is owl not that the nine's an owl people a lot of people have died from nine millimeter and inert and viciously but it's the idea that the nine is a much hotter round in military ball ammunition and Tennessee to ice pick the forty five was because of our experience in the boxer rebellion and also in the Philippines with a moral revolt And the Moros, of course, just like the Chinese, would open them up and go on Monzai runs. And with the 30, there was a 38, basically, we wouldn't call it 38 special, but it's basically 38 Army. It was very close to 38 special, so it was a hot load, it was a good load. And we had a 38 Auto. Now both of these cartridges are pretty much comparable. A 38 Auto is like a 9 millimeter. Well, we would shoot, or actually what would happen is an officer would be attacked and the morals of course had a policy of attacking and trying to kill all the officers they could. Just bonsai charges. They come in with a chunk of metal that was sharpened to make it into kind of like a machete slash short sword. And they would dope themselves up, say their last prayers and bonsai, away they go. Of course you didn't say bonsai, they had other phrases. There are historical accounts, Mark, of officers emptying the cylinder of their 30-year-old matter of fact in one case there there are several cases that uh... one of the one that was most notable this is one that in some people say it's argued that had happened there there were too many witnesses basically one officer she did exactly that shot a uh... attacking me a dump empty the whole magazine of thirty eight uh... basically be thirty eight super slash three uh... thirty eight auto nine millimeter super though it would not have been for there's nine millimeter largo every country's Anyway, he dumped the whole magazine into the target. The target continued to engage, chopped him to death. And in the meantime, the target then turned, still highly motivated and not critically injured, to engage another target. And with one shot from a 1905 model, 45, one of the first models, a 1905-1907 production model, basically the 1911 in its daughter, its mother mode. took down one, took down the moral with one shot. Boom. 45 ACP and it's been its earliest configuration and the guy just dropped. It put all the energy on the target and finished him. Now you could argue that, well, he was full of those other holes, so it probably wasn't as hard, but the bottom line is that, yeah, you could have filled it with more of the same size holes and you might've gotten another man. That's right. Okay. So the bottom line here is Mark, you, you reinforce this thought many times. Take out the motor. opportunities, you know the ability to be ambulatory, plain terms here you guys, shoot out their walking ability and you can walk away from it. You can step back while you're still firing. One of the most important things to remember is people have a tendency, well it's like an ambush situation, people have tendency to do three things. In an ambush they will freeze, they will panic, turn and run or if they realize that they're in an ambush the policy and the best one is put your weapon in its highest capacity mode, in other words, this is one of the few times where I'd recommend you use full auto and don't worry about consumption, put it on full auto, walk into the enemy, in other words, move into the enemy's line of attack, and then turn. Now, there's two policies here. One is get the hell through the line and run, and then everybody will meet up later somewhere. Or, if you realize that the people that are out, you might be of value to you, in other words, you love them. You turn and run defilade left or right through the enemy's line to engage targets Remember that when you have a bunch of your bad guys lined up and you're just spraying and praying Chances are if you missed one you're gonna get somebody else because they're all in the line of fire Anyway, though the same this this is true of most every other situation But most people should consider this is rather than there are two options walking into the target closes the distance One of the things if you know the environment that you're in and you have an attacker that's engaging at a medium or short range is don't step in, step back, bring, give yourself more distance, but do it in this way, don't panic run. It's hard to do on the air, but it's called a crab walk. In other words, do not cross your legs. What you do is half steps back. What you do is you continue to focus on the target, bring the weapon to bear into the, and again, there's gonna be a big argument here with people hearing what I'm talking about, but bring the weapon up into the motor area, into the hip area. put the first few rounds up and into that target. If you're panic firing, chances are you're going to have to work with area shooting anyway. There are different schools, but if this target is armored, you're not going to hit and properly penetrate unless you've got some AP rounds on board through body armor. However, the soft two-way area is down in the hip area or in the knee area or the thigh area, if chances are you're hitting in the, hopefully in the groin. You're going to hit the hip. You're looking at damaging all the motor components to include tendons. You're going to rip arteries. There are soft organs there that really hurt a lot. A shattered pelvis is not conducive to someone running, walking, or even trying to stand up. They might use harsh language. But the whole point is that remember, with a crab-wreaking on a crab walk, retreat if need be. Now people would say no stand your ground or no moving your target. I would recommend again, if you are thinking and you're moving through an engagement situation, if you can step back rather than hold, keep in mind that you're changing your point of location, which is good if the target that's engaging you has calculated your location. Remember, everything, timing is everything. And typically when somebody has planned an attack, even though it may be a short mental process, they've already calculated your specific location for their foot motion. So what you want to do is you want to change the perspective. Now you can move left to right, but typically again, you're trying to keep on target. You're trying to maintain a stable gun posture. Want to come back. You want to drop down and just let the magazine go. In other words, you know, I'm not talking for, I'm talking, you will pull seven rounds from a 1911 so fast you'll never realize they left the barrel. I have watched this so many times in very bad situations where men have used four and five magazines in a Smith and Wesson Model 59 and never realized that they had A, shot 15 rounds plus one in the tube, three magazines and only had three rounds left in the third magazine that they put in. They had no clue, they did not remember, they honestly did not remember expending four magazines with 15 rounds each per mag. Think about that. Well, minus three. There were three left in the last minute. And the target was peppered. Okay, I mean, we're talking two targets were peppered, engaged effectively in peppered. But the point is that, again, and these are trained, these are individuals who are trained. These are men who are very competent. They deal with problems every day. They experience life-threatening situations on a regular basis and yet in that situation once the adrenaline rush grow goes as we've said many times there's a time dilation factor now you talk to the person who did that He'll tell you basically all man that took forever Reality the action was only taking a matter of you know less than a minute in many cases only 30 to say 40 seconds It's amazing how quickly you can operate and especially if you have what it worked what we call it if you've done immediate action drills and Now most people go, well Mark, I don't have time to play with my weapons. Yes you do. When you sit down in front of the television, I want you to, for instance, take a bunch of empty magazines. This is where these cheap, junky Glock mags, like we were talking about the other day, where people said, well I only buy Glock. Okay, well these are your training mags. Go get those cheap magazines for three, four, or five dollars. While you're sitting in front of the television, make sure those are empty. Make sure that the weapon is empty. Practice inserting the magazine, dropping the slide. Drop the magazine, reinsert another magazine. Drop the magazine, reinsert another magazine. Why? Because it should become immediate action. Armalite, Bushmaster, whoever does it first, you don't have to change anything on the weapon other than that upper receiver. And we already know that the 7.62x39 will fit in a standard AR-15 magazine. Now you won't fit, but only about like I think it's either 13 or 14 rounds or 18 rounds in the standard AR mag. So your standard mags will work with a 30 Russian ammo. Okay? All you have to do is make a barrel armalite. Bush master whoever does it first the barrel is the only thing they still don't make in 545 the bolt for the air for the standard a K round will work with the bolt face for the AR 15 for the 762 by 39 round Would work for the 545 by 39 so all they need to do is make a barrel for the AR upper and it would use this 545 ammunition This means that you have an entirely new caliber and an option so you have three calibers. You carry three different uppers. And that's not a big deal guys because you're only talking, gee, I don't know if I can do that. Let's see, they're only like two, oh, three pounds, three, no, I'm correction, four and one quarter pound because that's the heaviest part of the rifle is with the barrel, okay. So you could carry a 30, well, you can have on the shelf a 30 Russian barrel upper receiver. a 223 upper receiver and lo and behold a 5.4 or 5 and you cover the three principal modern cartridges that are running around on the battlefield. Now I would ask that if Colt or Armalite or if Bushmaster can come up with a 5.45 barrel upper receiver they don't have to do any new tooling other than to make those barrels guys. The bolt carrier will be the same, the bolt face will be the same, the upper receiver will be the same, there's nothing they change. All they've got to do is make the barrel. So I'm going to contact and we're going to make an effort to do this. We're going to ask this be done. Why? Because there's chunks of 545 ammunition all over the country. It's the one caliber I've been finding that everybody has some of and our guns just bought a big shipment in. The Polish ammunition came in a big shipment. It's available where as 30 Russian as catch as catch can and again it's another caliber. I know what everybody says it's another caliber but guys if all you have to do is buy an upper receiver for $180 or $235 you've got an entirely new rifle for $235. Think about it. Yeah now all of a sudden guys you're all ready to plug and play You've got come across that Russian or that spasnaz unit or the Chycom unit who can be carrying the new caliber to I know all about the new caliber But the 545 is presently in inventory and it's in large numbers. So you're gonna run into it with that being the case That's something you're gonna see on the battlefield a new caliber mark are there are the Chinese blue helmets? Are they posted yet? I awful big thing. Well gee, the United Nations thought they don't want nothing to do with China. The Chinese fellows, they're inside their armored vehicle operating a new gun system, a short rifle system through the ports and lo, they have a Chinese national flag on their shoulder. That's right, the Chinese United Nations troops. Of course, they're just here to help, just like those Canadian troops are just here to help in UN Blue. and all the other shysters that we have that they plan on using on us. Now, another thing we need to talk on, because earlier we talked, you know, nine millimeters and forty caliber. Well guess what you guys, high point pistol, forty caliber don't they Mark? It's less than a hundred and fifty dollars or so isn't it? You guys, that's not a very big pile of pop bottles. And then you've got a forty caliber handgun to put on the shelf just in case you might come across a few hundred or a few thousand rounds of, gee grab that pile of we're gonna get back a pile of bullets with it. It'd be good to have a forty round and look to hide a claimed pistol and it works, it goes almost anything. it all day long. High point pistols, if you're a 9mm fan they sell you 9mm. If you want a 45mm, you know that show, stop a 45mm from them, but if you're a 40 cal you can put a 40 cal handgun on the shelf. $150 bucks. High point. Now another thing they've got that's rather innovative Mark is the ability, I believe this is high point, it might be Caltech, correct me if I'm wrong please, but they can take the front two different pieces and wow, got a long gun. Yes, there's a couple of different factors of 45 for the standard 45 frame There's a company that's producing a carbine mechanism in the same way There's no restriction because it's not a firearm and you can actually just pop your slide off throw this on this this mechanism this system on your frame and Low and all of a sudden you have a light carbine. Yep, and Kel-tex doing something like that to Kel. That's KEL space TEC if anybody's looking for it on the internet to know this problems of you know the The guys in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, they call it logistics. We feed the soldier in the field. How do we keep, you know, problems doing that in Iraq? We're told they're bullets every three days or so. Told they're buying bullets from China, but you know, feed your sidearm and your long gun the same bullet. Caveats, when you try to do that also, Mark, because you know, that .45, well, even in a longer barrel, you might think it's an effective gun to two or three hundred yards. Am I wrong? As a matter of fact, well again, at 200 yards, 150 to 200 yard niche for a light carbine, that's about average. There are those, and again, we're just running out. There are those that would say, and here's a bit of spectrum, well that gun, it doesn't reach far enough for me, but historically, most gun battles, and I'm not talking about, you know, on the wild, wild west streets of 20 years ago, and 100 yards. Our places for the 105 millimeter, you know, howitzer. You're looking at fitting out a particular shape on the easy and you know keep it simple. We see this back to the horse in the saddle days when the cowboy is sidearm you know his pistol. Same bullet theory isn't it Mark? In fact of course everybody knows the Winchester rifles they usually offered in fact they made them the assault rifles of the day. The Winchester Model 73 in a pistol cartridge, look at the size of the weapon and consider how short stroke in action it was. I mean when you have a small cartridge like that and how many rounds you could carry. My God, will he ever run out? And the idea behind it is that a man by himself actually had some firepower. And it was typically, if you were out on the range, you might end up being one man against many. There was a big advantage to having that type of firepower in place for intermediate to short range. Like in your handgun, use the same caliber ammo typically. And this was happening still with Colton Smith. They were offering some of the unique Winchester cartridges right up until, in pistol form because they understood this interest, the need, right up until the 20s and 30s. The 3220 comes to mind because a bunch of those came in from down south, the 3220 Winchester cartridge. a chainring that was used quite heavily in the Winchester rifles and it was used in the Smiths and Colts even in the side break revolvers. A bunch of those came back into the US back in the 90s very cheap from South America for about $69 to $100 apiece and they were Colt and Smith frames and they were being used by one of the policing agencies down there but it was also a caliber that was standard for the lever guns. And the advantage was that you got a pocket full ammunition, you don't have to guess which goes where. Now where's, oh, I got a bunch of chicklets, it's really dark out. Okay, well, here we go. I know I can fit the revolver holes, there we go. And now the side gate on the old Winchester works just fine. Well, the same is true with the high point carbines or the Marlin camp carbines, an excellent choice for either of those weapons. And again, a lot of people have been asking, well, I'm an older person or what do I give to this young, you know, I've got this, this grand center or granddaughter and I'm trying to arm them. These light rifles are perfect because they offer very little recoil. That's the big thing. There's no felt energy. Now somebody says, well Mark, you can grab an AR-15. Okay, do you have $700 to hand to this person? Chances are you don't. You need to outfit five, six, or seven people. You need everybody to have something. You want them to have something semi-auto. These little camp car beams are a great choice for the young people and for the older people. They're not going to be combat infantry. What you need, as with truck drivers, radio operators, artillery men, is something you get them out of trouble. Something to keep them safe when they come under fire. The cool thing about the 9-millimeter high points and the Marlin car beam, Marlin camp car beams, is that there's very little felt recoil because it's a pistol cartridge in a rifle frame. so they actually can not only fire the weapon but fire it comfortably and accurately engage the target. We're more interested in hits than we are in trying to scare the general area. That's one for the wife or the little sister. Yee-haw! And there's large capacity magazines available. These weapons take a standard pistol magazine. so they're perfect. Don, you can carry a whole bag full of mags in one pocket, can't you? Oh, no question about it, yup. And in fact, it's like they have one carbine the same way. For a lot of people, they'll say, well, the carbine's off. No, it's not. And think about this. These little weapons carry a magazine that you can put two of them in one hand. You can carry a magazine in every pocket in your coat, and you won't know it's there. You can carry a magazine in every pocket of your pants, and you still won't realize it there, but how many rounds are you carrying between how many pockets? that camp nine you can get a 30-30 magazine for it. Yes, you can. And so there's no reason these are not, these are fine weapons. The other consideration is at least the pistol ammunition is still available. Remember that the pistol ammunition is easier to reload because these are blowback weapon systems. The other advantage is lead projectiles could be used easily in these firearms without any complications. Now a little hint there, if you're going to use lead projectiles even in these, There's what's called gas checks that utilize with your cast bullet. I would recommend that if you can understand how to use a gas check in the reloading process because this will bring up your pressures. It will help to clean the bore a little bit as the round is being fired. And it has several advantages in bringing up accuracy. So there are solutions to some of the problems of having to use cast bullets down the road because remember, we're going to end up having to reload, actually build all the parts. Without that gas chuck, you're limited, you know, lead bullets to about 22 to 2400 seats per second. Yeah, exactly. So, but still, it's going to perform, but you'd like a little more energy if you can get it, right? Yep. So we're at the top of the hour, guys. This is the intel report.
