Summary
Mark Koernke and Don discussed firearms, ammunition, and tactical self-defense on Weapons Wednesday. The episode covered pistol design history (1911, Browning High Power, Glock), caliber comparisons (9mm vs .45 ACP, .40 caliber, 5.45x39), and self-defense tactics including ambush response and weapon handling. They addressed structural weaknesses in AK-pattern rifles and advocated for manufacturers to produce AR-15 upper receivers in 5.45x39 to utilize abundant cheap Russian ammunition. The hosts also recommended budget-friendly firearms options like High Point pistols and Marlin Camp Carbines for arming family members and non-combatants, and discussed the presence of Canadian police at Detroit's Dream Cruise event.

I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave.
In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one.
On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold.
You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep and yet put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail.
Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors, so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores, and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save?
Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame.
For even now as tyrants trampled each god-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave and dilled the land of the free?

Rich Weapons Wednesday is also fissile I guess closed. ...M1911, hardball, ammunition will deal with pretty much any problem. Remember, everybody had 9mm, 38, etc., etc.
And then, a little came up with, well, you know, Mr. Browning, came up with a nice round in 45 ACP Colt, actually, and actually three different companies simultaneously in the, what was it, the Norwegians adopted it immediately, seeing the value of the 45 round, giving it a metric designation. But the 1911A1, well, 1911 straight, of course, became standard. The only difference between the 1911 and the 1911A1 in its military configuration is the two little cuts,
in the side of the frame to make small hands happier when they wrap their fingers around 45. And the other thing was the back strap to fill out the back strap itself. The 1911 has a flat back strap. It has a housing on the A1. Both excellent firearms of course and either way in with all the new modifications we've seen. None of them significant as far as changing the action but making it more convenient or ergonomically convenient for the shooter, for the operator.
those are the only changes the nineteen eleven nineteen eleven slash nineteen eleven a one has not changed almost one hundred you john moses britney i think he did a good job that he said that well the only if he was hoping that they got this guy's he was hoping that we built the browning high power was going to be the last statement in his designs and even he acknowledged that there were things that he should have put on the browning that he put on the call on the on the standard nineteen eleven cold
should have been there. Example, if you ever have a Browning High Power, beautiful firearm, for years it was the only high capacity pistol on the market. There were no other 9 millimeters out there and Browning built that for Belgium or designed it for Belgium and put it into service with a small, a very small safety, but that was a requirement laid down by the Europeans. If he'd had his way, the Browning High Power would have the same basic safety and operations features as the 1911, but it would have been, again, a tapered, high-commented tapered slide.
high capacity magazine pistol and it would have been perfect but I mean as far as 9mm go we know hey guys 9mm 45 it's a good idea if you're doing people stopping to stick with the 45. If you had one take the 9. Yeah I take the 9 immediately the 45 is P is OWL not that the 9 is an OWL people a lot of people have died from 9mm and inert viciously but it's the idea that the 9 is a much hotter round and military ball ammunition and Tennessee to ice pick the 45 was because of our experience in the Boxer Rebellion
and also in the Philippines with a Moro revolt. And the Moros, of course, just like the Chinese would Opium up and go on Monzai runs. There was a 38, basically, we wouldn't call it 38 special, but it's basically 38 Army. She was very close to 38 special, so it was a hot load, it was a good load. And we had a 38 Auto. Now both of these cartridges were pretty much comparable. A 38 Auto was like a nine millimeter.
Well, we would shoot, or actually what would happen is an officer would be attacked and the morals of course had a policy of attacking trying to kill all the officers they could. Just bonsai charges. They come in with a chunk of metal that was sharpened to make it into kind of like a machete slash short sword. And they would dope themselves up, say their last prayers and bonsai. Away they go. Of course you didn't say bonsai. They had other praises. There are historical accounts, Mark, of officers emptying the cylinder of their .38 into these charging .60s.
get their headlapped off.
Anyway, he dumped the whole magazine into the target. The target continued to engage, chopped him to death. In the meantime, the target then turned, still highly motivated and not critically injured, to engage another target and with one shot from a 1905 model, 45, one of the first models, a 1905-1907 production model, basically the 1911 in its daughter's mother mode, took down one, took down the moral with one shot, boom.
45 ACP and it's been its earliest configuration and the just the guy just dropped it put all the energy on the target and finished him Now you could argue that well he was full of those other holes So it probably wasn't as hard but the bottom line is that yeah You could have filled it with more of the same size holes and you might have gotten another man. That's right Okay, so the line here is mark you you reinforce this thought many times take out the motor opportunities, you know the ability to be ambulatory when it's right in plain terms for you guys and you can walk away from your
You can step back while you're still firing. One of the most important things to remember is people have a tendency, well, it's like an ambush situation. People have a tendency to do three things. In an ambush, they will freeze, turn, and run. They're in an ambush, the policy and the best one is put your weapon in its highest capacity mode. In other words, this is one of the few times where I'd recommend you use full auto and don't worry about consumption. Put it on full auto, walk into the enemy. In other words, move into the enemy's line of attack.
and then turn. Now there's two policies here. One is get the hell through the line and run and then we'll meet up later somewhere. Or if you realize that the people that are out you might be of value to you, in other words you love them, you turn and run defilade left or right through the enemy's line to engage targets. Remember that when you have a bunch of your bad guys lined up and you're just spraying and praying, chances are if you missed one you're going to get somebody else because they're
But anyway, this is true of most every other situation, but most people should consider this as rather than, there are two options, walking into the target closes the distance. One of the things, if you know the environment that you're in and you have an attacker that's engaging at medium or short range, is step in, step back, give yourself more distance, but do it in this way, don't panic run. It's hard to do on the air, but it's called a crab walk. In other words, do not cross your legs.
What you do is half steps back. What you do is you continue to focus on the target, bring the weapon to bear into the, and I, again, there's gonna be a big argument here with people hearing what I'm talking about, but bring the weapon up into the motor area, into the hip area. Put the first few rounds up and into that target. If you're panic firing, chances are you're gonna have to work with area shooting anyway. There are different schools, but if this target is armored, you're not gonna hit and properly penetrate unless you've got some AP rounds on board through body armor.
However, the soft, chewy areas down in the hip area or in the knee area or the thigh area, chances are you're hitting, hopefully, in the groin, you're going to hit the hip, you're looking at damaging all the motor components to include tendons, you're going to rip arteries. There are soft organs there that really hurt a lot. Elvis is not going to do walking or even trying to stand up. We might use harsh language.
won't do them any, but the whole point is that remember with a crab, you know, crab walk or a treat if need be. Now people would say no stand your ground or no moving your target. I would recommend again if you are thinking and you're moving through an engagement situation, if you can step back rather than hold, keep in mind that you're changing your point of location which is good if the target, if the target that's engaging you has calculated your location. Remember, everything, timing is everything.
and typically when somebody has planned an attack even though maybe a short mental process they've already calculated your specific location for their foot motion. So what you want to do is you want to change the perspective. Now you can move left to right but typically again you're trying to keep on target you're trying to maintain a stable gun posture you want to come back you want to drop down and just let the magazine go. In other words, you know they're talking fall out I'm talking you will pull
Seven rounds from a 1911, so fast you'll never realize they left the barrel. I have watched this so many times in very bad situations where men have used four and five magazines in a Smith & Wesson Model 59 and never realized that they had A, shot 15 rounds plus one in the tube, magazines and only had three rounds left and with no clue they did not remember. They honestly did not remember expending four magazines with 15 rounds each per mag.
Think about that. Well, minus three. There were three left in the last minute. And the target was peppered. Okay, I mean, we're talking two targets were peppered, engaged effectively in peppered. But the point is that, again, and these are trained, these are individuals who were trained. These are men who are very competent. They deal with problems every day.
They experience life-threatening situations on a regular basis and yet in that situation once the adrenaline rush grow goes as we've said many times There's a time dilation factor now you talk to the person who did that he'll tell you basically all man that took forever But in reality the action was only taking a matter of you know less than a minute in many cases only 30 to say 40 seconds It's amazing how quickly you can operate and especially if you have what it will call we call it if you've done immediate action drills and
Now most people go, well Mark, I don't have time to play with my weapons. Yes you do. When you sit down in front of the television, I want you to, for instance, take a bunch of empty magazines. This is where these cheap, junky Glock mags, like we were talking about the other day where people said, well I only buy Glock. Okay, well these are your training mags. Go get those cheap magazines for three, four, or five dollars. While you're sitting in front of the television, make sure those are empty. Make sure that the weapon is empty. Practice inserting the magazine, dropping the slide.
Drop the magazine, reinsert another magazine. Drop the magazine, reinsert another magazine. Why? Because it should become immediate action. Have you ever seen British Marines train? They used to do this as a show off, so to speak, or to puff themselves. It's a good motivator. It shows that they're competent. Have you ever seen a British Bren gun operator using a .308 Bren gun? You can't see his hands move and he's changing a 30 round 7.62 NATO magazine.
So quickly it took the time to take from me say took he's already changed a mag That only happens because of repetition in action response response response repeat repeat repeat Familiarity that's right. That's what keeps you alive. Well, we're gonna go for the break here first break It's weapons Wednesday on wtprn.com. We'll be back in three minutes. It was 19 and 26 those are 9 mil

Nuclear reactors provide economical energy, but would you be prepared during an accident? During nuclear disasters, great amounts of radioactive iodine are released into the atmosphere, which are then readily absorbed into the body. Medical course potassium iodate gives you virtually complete protection from the most feared consequence of a nuclear accident. Radioactive poisoning. Potassium iodate can protect against radioactive poisoning by filling the thyroid with good iodine. This shields the thyroid
thyroid and prevents it from absorbing the harmful radioactive iodide. With the right bullet in it, one can well imagine, oh, you don't have to imagine, you can read the, there's still some horse downrange for it, call a medium caliber. Yep. It's a hot round actually. Oh yeah, it's going downrange real quick and that's, you know, hey, the key here, there's always been this discussion in the gun industry. Should it be a big or should it be a little thing that just buzzes out there faster than you, you know, there's always the difference. And this is dichotomy that will go on until, you know,
That .40 caliber is a pretty hot round. If you were to run, uh, find a gun that would, uh, cycle something like gold, Mark, you talked about. We've talked about seeing the battlefield, and you might come across the .40 caliber one day. Field procurement. Yes. Yes. Look, uh, look, HK. Well, yeah, give it to the kids. I got three. Thank you. Okay, look, MP5, .40 cal... Oh, oh, I might keep that one. I don't have one of those yet for the wall. There we go. Yep. Oh, MP5, .40 caliber, uh, was the collab. I'll give that to the kids. It's a toy. It's a small one. There you go.
While we're on, before we get too far away from the 9mm talk, and you know, we've come with one. Not for pounding anything. Yeah, I wouldn't want to. Not even people. I was just going to say, I wouldn't even want to lay one on my opponent. Pretty thick, you know, the frontal bone. I will point this out. This is something that they don't really want to, it was discussed when Box first came out, because you know, police officers are in situations, and so are you if you're a defender of any kind, where you might have to decide that, okay, instead of shooting the guy, I think I can use the gun to beat him anyway, right?
uh... one of the problems of the boxes guys it's plastic and there are several instance where guys who are used to carrying steel frame forty-five score uh... they were carrying other automatics or or volvers which of course are have the old six-inch clubs on them or eight-inch clubs of thing i really care in extreme girl but which is okay but you know we you know if you carry a cop shop situation you're carrying a four or six inches we were stubby but the point is there were steel frames
So if, Don, if you had to, you could, you know, the old term pistol whip somebody. That was coming in my mind real hard. Okay, well they were used to that idea. It was a wonderful concept. But the problem is that with the Glock, it's plastic with a little bit of metal. And in some cases what happened is, first of all, the officer, rather than reaching for, and this is several accounts that even Glock admitted two years ago, I don't think I'll even print this up, but the officer decided to grab his pistol rather than say a night stick or his kel light or whatever. So,
First he thought maybe shoot the guy, then he realized, oh, I can beat on him. So he smacked the guy. Well, he backed up after he smacked the guy with the pistol. The guy comes up with something better. He comes up with a knife rather than just his fist. Well, the guy steps back to, you know, turns to fire his pistol. And as he brings the weapon up to bear, you know, to line up the sights, he finds that he has no sights. Why? Well, the slide's laying on the ground. His magazine is sitting there, bare to the wind, and he's holding a nice pistol grip. You see the problem with this?
So now all of a sudden, A, now he doesn't have the handgun anymore. You can very well imagine the grin on the gun. Knife welding seemed to stay. He didn't bring the gun to the knife fight after all, did he? No, he didn't. Now they're in a bad situation because you're technically bare handed. The other weapon you had as an option, the beating stick or the kellite, whichever it was he was carrying, who knows. Now it's in a very bad situation because he has to withdraw it and the other guy already had his knife in place.
So, there is an issue there about selecting the proper weapon for the proper mission. And that doesn't mean if all else fails, if you're in a situation where maybe your weapon's out of ammo and the guy's right on top of you, you gotta beat him with a pistol that you do have, well, that's better than, you know, harsh language and your bare fists. I'd try to lay that gun a card. That's the only option you got. If you can get the, if fortunately, if you're fortunate enough to know that the guy may not get something stuck in you before you had a chance to do anything else. The thing is that, again, understand the limitations,
is structurally of the weapons you're carrying uh... certain weapons have specific engineering weaknesses uh... this is true of many combat rifles is a lot of men who have been in the service that were were taught that if you were going to drop to the ground for instance with the air fifteen even with the the m fourteen is you didn't hold at the pistol grip what they recommended is that you were dropping you shifted your hand to the but stock
support it so that the buttstock and the weapon itself helped to break your fall as you drop to the ground. The reason is because if you left your hand where it was,
Well, that was a weak point on the firearm and what would happen is leverage the energy exerted against the buttstock would actually break the weapon. Well, that's kind of embarrassing because now you reduce your accuracy. The weapon still might function. But if the buttstock breaks, you've just lost your potential to reach a great range. Okay. Well, that's another thing about the AR. You just can't play and can't hit them with the gun. You just can't do it. You can! Oh, by the way, you know what we're talking and you just
to light from last night. I was in an extensive conversation with somebody. Now here's the thing, and guys we're going to talk about this when we come back from the break, about a suggested system that somebody can build in the firearms industry to include Bushmaster or Armalite, and this is something that we definitely have a need for in the firearms industry right now. There's a little flag there. This is something where this is, I should, now I gotta mention it on the air, we gotta get it out so somebody does it, it's more important.
One of the things done, especially with these firearms, the AR, the AK, is that each one has, and I guess we just brought this up, we've got to emphasize this, do the research and reading on your weapon, on your firearm. Example, we talk about the strength. There are many strengths with the AK-47, but it's one little weakness. It is not a significant weakness, in other words, the weapon will continue to function. That little beaver board stock, when you buy the, oh, it looks like the military version,
Well, it looks cool. Everybody says, I gotta have that because that's how I saw the weapon used. Well, when they built these pistol grip wrap around stocks, remember the ones that were the wood came off the base of the stock? Yep. That was a blessing. And we were going to build those at $100 apiece. That's what it came, cost what it cost to do them in the land. We were going to do them just like the Russians. Make them here in America. Then all of a sudden they did the weapons ban and oh, you got it. You can't have the pistol grip. And we laughed our hind end off because they started making
What we were gonna build So people if you've got that type of pistol grip stock where it has the extension below leave it on your weapon We're gonna explain after the break and we come back about that and also a five four five solution for a certain firearm This is down to mark worth the bottom the hour the first dollar its weapons Wednesday here on wtprn.com. Gary French, the founder of Low Lantern Society, catches program Low Lantern Radio from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, right here on We the People Radio Network. This is the Inzel Report Live and real quick, we could touch you on a subject if you have. Now you might notice this, if you watch a lot of our videos, here's a good example. You got a clipping one and two.
If you look at any of the militia videos that are right now on YouTube, okay, go to any of the video work that you see. You'll notice that if any of our guys are carrying AKs, our people, one of the people that I've trained over the years, you'll notice that we don't have the pistol grip, beaver board, stock system on the rifles. Now, we could have changed over. I've got, you don't think Mark doesn't have access to all that stuff in bulk?
What I like about the wraparound stock, the pistol grip stock that has the extension like the Dragunov stock, is that you have two points that reinforce the buttstock itself on the AK. Traditionally, if otherwise, the Beaver board that comes right out of the back of the AK, that's the weak point on that rifle. I have a whole box, and in fact, I could show it to you if you, you know, there's a whole box of broken stocks that have come off Russian AKs or Romanian AKs,
that I bought because they were cool. They were project stocks for other things. But the idea behind it is that they were all tossed out by armorers who took them off the weapons and had to fix them. The solution is to actually have the stock and the pistol grip as one piece, like on the Dragunov stocks. That's why the little Romanian ones are really cool. They look good. They're actually the Dragunov stock. And they're ergonomically cool. But any of the other ones, there were walnut commemorative sets. There's really nice laminated sets that have been made.
Leave them on the rifle if you got them. If you need to tune them up a bit. In other words, if they're lunky on the hand, they don't feel comfortable, well that's what your sanders for and or better still just a very careful work with a Dremel tool to round that out and make it nicer for your personal grip. But leave them that way because that reinforces the buttstock through the second point of contact with the pistol grip. These nylon, Don you've seen them, these nylon Zytel stocks that are
their wraparound type, they create a very stable platform. But here's one of the things to think about. You're in a fighting situation. You're going room to room, door to door, or you're in a hallway. You're in an alley. You're firing. You turn. You don't have time because it's a narrow space. Somebody pops out a door. They don't have their weapon to bear because they've got it at port and they're trying to bring it down. There's port arms. They've got a 45 degree angle across their body. They're coming through the door.
You don't have time to turn the weapon. They're really, really close. All you do is pivot the weapon sideways. That nice sharp point that's at the base of the pistol grip that's reinforced by the buttstock. You slam that right into the guy's face and his mouth turns into a pile of chicklets. You smack him two or three more times, he loses an eye. You drop him in the throat, you hit him wherever you can, but here's the point. If you're so close you can't get the weapon around, you don't have to worry about that you've got something that isn't going to hurt somebody.
You see how that works? On the other hand, that simple pistol grip don't do you a whole lot of good. So there is an advantage, and this is why, like I said, we laughed our hind end off, because this is a significant improvement for the AK design. It doesn't look pretty. It's not meant to look pretty. Okay, it is a serviceable issue. In other words, does it make the weapon stronger? Yes, it does. So that's one of the little issues there. The Russians don't do it because they had other agendas, and of course, military application, there are varying specifications.
One of the other reasons by the way that they don't do it is because it cost more money Okay, keep that in mind the Dragon off stock cost more money to make that's why they don't put them on the weapon Because they want to make the thing as cheap as they can so they can sell it to you for the greatest profit. Duh Okay. Now here's another thing. This is one thing that I want to mention Here's an idea guys. We got lots of five four five Russian ammunition. It's the only ammunition by the way That's in bulk. That's cheap
out there right now. Centerfiresystems.com, that's 1-800-950-1231. Centerfiresystems.com, they've got all kinds of good things. They've got the Glock 17 round mags down, 9mm, 599 piece. But 1-800-950-1231 or go to Centerfiresystems.com. They also have 545 ammunition, Polish manufactured, good quantity.
uh... two thousand double check it on the make sure you write uh... two thousand one hundred and eighty on all one thousand eighty rounds per can two thousand one hundred sixty rounds per case i was right how if there we go two thousand one hundred sixty rounds per case or about see with the new prices hope for a hundred and forty dollars per can in other words of one thousand eighty rounds for a hundred forty dollars or
R-Guns, which I don't have the address right here in front of me, but I'm going to have to dig it out, R-Guns.com. Go to R-Space-Guns.com, or R-Guns, and maybe I don't think the space is in there. They've got 2,160 rounds of Russian AK-74 ammunition, the 5.45, for $210 a case. Guys, that is the cheapest ammunition in the country right now. Now, here's why I bring this up.
And I don't care who builds it first, and maybe they do, and somebody out there can answer this for us in the chat room, or they can answer it for us on the air. Why not build? Armalite, listen to what I'm saying here right now. Bushmaster, listen to what I'm saying right now. They're already building a 30 caliber AK, a 7.62x39 AR-15 upper receiver, aren't they Don? Bushmaster makes it, okay.
Now here's the thing, Colt makes it too, they make a 30 Russian Colt right now. They've made it for years, actually going back to the early 90s. Think about this, Armalite, Bushmaster, whoever does it first, you don't have to change anything on the weapon other than that upper receiver and we already know that the 7.62x39 will fit in a standard AR-15 magazine. Now you won't fit, but only about like I think it's either 13 or 14.
rounds or 18 rounds in the standard AR mag. So your standard mags will work with the 30 Russian ammo. Okay? All you have to do is make a barrel, armalite, bush master, whatever does it first. The barrel is the only thing they still don't make in 545. The bolt for the AR for the standard AK round will work with the bolt face for the AR-15 for the 760 by 39 round would work for the 545 by 39. So all they need to do is make a barrel
for the AR upper and it would use this 5.45 ammunition. This means that you have an entirely new caliber and an option so you have three calibers, you carry three different uppers. And that's not a big deal guys because you're only talking, gee, I don't know if I can do that. Let's see, they're only like two, oh, three pounds, three, no, I'm correction, four and one quarter pound because that's the heaviest part of the rifle is with the barrel, okay.
So you could carry a 30... well you can have on the shelf a 30 Russian barrel upper receiver, a 223 upper receiver, and lo and behold a 5.4 or 5 and you cover the three principal modern cartridges that are running around on the back. I would ask that if Colt, Armalite, or if Bushmaster can come up with a 5.45 barrel upper receiver, they don't have to do any new tooling other than to make those guys.
The bolt carrier will be the same, the bolt face will be the same, the upper receiver will be the same, there's nothing they change. All they've got to do is make the barrel. So I'm going to contact and we're going to make an effort to do this. We're going to ask this be done. Why? Because there's chunks of 545 ammunition all over the country. The one caliber I've been finding that everybody has some of, and our guns just bought a big shipment in. The Polish ammunition came in a big shipment.
It's available where as 30 Russian is catch as catch can and again it's another caliber. I know what everybody is saying it's another caliber but guys if all you have to do is buy an upper receiver for $180 or $235 you've got an entirely new rifle for $235.
Think about it. Yeah, now all of a sudden guys you're all ready to plug and play You've got come across that Russian or that spasnaz unit or the Chycom unit who can be carrying the new caliber to I know all about the new caliber But the 545 is presently in inventory and it's in large numbers. So you're gonna run into it with that being the case That's something you're gonna see on the battlefield speaking of the new caliber mark our Chinese blue helmets. Are they posted yet?
I- We were working on that this morning, so- but I don't know, I believe that the- Yes it is, it's scanned but it's not posted yet, it's scanned in for sure and not a couple days ago as a matter of fact. As soon as we got it, it was scanned in but I think it may be up on our PBN or on our LTR site, Liberty Tree Radio site. Okay you guys, this is part of our enemy program, you know, for years. Have you ever seen a dynamite deployed in a United Nations action, keeping them in their vest pocket? Awful big vest, think, well gee, the United Nations died.
A couple of Chinese fellows there inside their armored vehicle operating a new gun system, a short rifle system through the ports and low they have a... That's right, the Chinese United Nations troops. They're just here to help, just like those Canadian troops are just here to help in UN Blue and all the other shysters that we have that they plan on using on us. But obviously they've been holding that Chinese card back out of sight, haven't they Don? Yes they have.
Uh oh, we're at break. It didn't take long. This hour is going fast. Ladies and gentlemen, we got more information. Keep your pens handy. It's Weapons Wednesday with Don and Mark on WTPRN.com.

And on demand, this is We The People Radio Network. I really like this fine, fine guitar picking from Paul and the gang, but we got stuff to do, you guys. Go to pokerface.com sometime and peruse their wares. A number of things you want to touch on here. Over the years we've brought this up and you might wonder, well, gee, what the heck is he going to help this for? Dream Cruise is this weekend, Mark. You know, they've got all the ice and they go down side of Detroit and they
If you want to see all kinds of cool cars, you know, everything from street Emmys down to custom Volkswagens, hang out this weekend on Woodward Avenue, the east side of Detroit. If you want to see Canadian cops there to help the Detroit police or the Birmingham police in hang out on Woodward Avenue this weekend, if you want to document this, take a camera. We'd like to have some of these of the Canadian police. We understand that this is taken. Again, this falls under the
Right, under the MJTF, but also again, the biggest problem here is this is crossing American borders. Foreign police... Right, they're here. Wait, whether they're here or not, they're running amuck when they're here. Now another thing, when you... You know, 9 mil... Well, guess what, you guys? High point pistols. They build a .40 caliber, don't they, Mark? It's less than $150 or so, isn't it? You guys, that's not a very big pile of pop bottles.
And then you've got a 40 caliber handgun to put on the shelf just in case you might come across or a few thousand rounds of we're gonna get back over. So again, it might be it's an acclaimed pistol. Again, it works. It's almost anything you feed it point pistols for if you're a nine millimeter fan, if you want a 45, you know for 45 from them. But if you're a 40 cal, you can put a 40 cal handgun on the shelf. 50 bucks. Now another thing they've got that's rather innovative, the ability I believe this is high.
It might be Caltech, correct me if I'm wrong, please. It can take the front pieces and wow, got a long gun. Yes, there's a couple of different factors of 45. For the standard 45 frame, there's a company that's producing a carbine mechanism in the same way. There's no restriction because it's not a firearm. They actually just pop your slide off, throw this mechanism, this system on your frame, and all of a sudden you have a light carbine. It's doing something like that too.
That's K-E-L space T-E-C. And anybody's looking for it on the internet too. The problems of, you know, the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, they call them China, but, you know, when you can arm in your long gun caveats when you try to do that also, Mark, because, you know, that 45, well, even in a longer boat, you might think it's an effective gun, 100 yards, am I wrong? In fact, well, again, that 200 yards, 150 to 200 yard niche for a light carbine, that's about average. There are those, and again, we're just running out.
and it doesn't reach for me but hit me most guns and I'm not talking about you know on the wild wild west streets of our places for the herd that you know the hunter looking at fitting out a particular on the easy and you know keep that we see this back to the horse and the saddle days when the cowboy is aimed bullet for fact yeah of course everybody knows the Winchester rifles they usually offered in fact it made them the assault rifles of the day the Winchester model 73
In a pistol cartridge, look at the size of the weapon and consider how short stroke in action it was. I mean when you have a small cartridge like that and how many rounds you could carry. My God, will he ever run out? And the idea behind it is that a man by himself actually had some firepower. And it was typically, if you were out on the range, you might end up being one man against many. It was a big advantage to having that type of firepower in place for intermediate to short range. Again, your handgun used the same caliber ammo typically.
This was happening still with Colt and Smith. They were offering some of the unique Winchester cartridges right up until, in pistol form because they understood this interest, the need, right up until the 20s and 30s. The 3220 is when it comes to mind because a bunch of those came in from down south. The 3220 Winchester cartridge. A chainring that was used quite heavily in the Winchester rifles and it was used in the Smiths and Colts even
the side break revolvers. A bunch of those came back into the US back in the 90s, very cheap from South America, for about $69 to $100 apiece. And they were Colt and Smith frames, and they were being used by one of the policing agencies down there. But it was also a caliber that was standard for the lever guns. The advantage was that you got a pocket full ammunition, you don't have to guess which goes where.
Now we're talking about chiclets it's really dark out okay well here we go I know I can fit the revolver holes there we go and now the side gate on the old Winchester works just fine well the same is true with the high point car beans or the Marlin camp car beans an excellent choice for either those weapons and again a lot of people have been asking why I'm an older person or what do I get to this young you know I've got this this Grand Center or granddaughter and I'm trying to arm them these light rifles are perfect because they offer very
little recoil. That's the big thing. There's no felt energy. Now somebody say, well Mark you can grab an AR-15. Okay, do you have $700 to hand to this person? Chances are you don't. You need to outfit five, six or seven people. You need everybody to have something. You want them to have something semi-auto. These little camp car beans are a great choice for the young people and for the older people. They're not going to be combat infantry.
What you need, as with truck drivers, radio operators, artillery men, is something to get them out of trouble. Something to keep them safe when they come under fire. The cool thing about the 9mm high points and the Marlin carbine, Marlin camp carbines, is that there is very little felt recoil because it's a pistol cartridge in a rifle frame. So they actually can not only fire the weapon, but fire it comfortably and accurately engage the target. We're more interested in hits than we are in trying to
air of the general area. And there's large capacity magazines available, but these weapons take a standard pistol magazine. So they're perfect. Don, you can carry a whole bag full of mags in one pocket, can't you? And in fact, it's like they have one carbine the same way. For a lot of people, say, well, the carbine's off. No, it's not. And think about this. These little weapons carry a magazine that you can put two of them in one hand.
You can carry a magazine in every pocket in your coat and you won't know it's there. You can carry a magazine in every pocket of your pants and you still won't realize it there, but how many rounds are you carrying between how many pockets? At camp 9 you can get a 30 magazine for it. Yes, you can. And so there's no reason these are fine weapons. The other consideration is at least the pistol ammunition is still available. Remember that the pistol ammunition is easier to reload because these are
blowback weapon systems. The other advantage is lead projectiles could be used easily in these firearms without any complications. Now a little hint there, if you're going to use lead projectiles even in these, gas checks. They would recommend that if you can understand how to use a gas check in the reloading process because this will bring up your pressures, will help to clean the bore a little bit, several advantages in bringing up accuracy. There are solutions to some of the problems of having to use cast bullets down the road because remember,
Well, we're going to end up having to reload, actually build all the parts. Without that gas check, you're limited, you know, lead bullets to about 22 to 2400 feet per second. Yeah, exactly. So, but still, it's going to perform, but you'd like a little more energy if you can get it, right? Yep. So, we're at the top of the hour, guys.
This is the intel report. Don and Mark, we're gonna leave you for now, but we're back in a few minutes. God bless the republic. Just for the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We are on the march, both day and night. Fix, fight, drive them out of the country, people. Give them a backpack full of rocks. Let them swim back to the spiders that sent them. Thank you, Don. Thank you, Mark. God bless.
