Mark Koernke discussed advanced reloading and ammunition techniques on Weapons Wednesday, covering overpressure dangers, discarding sabot cup technology for achieving extreme velocities (5000+ fps), and the importance of tailoring ammunition loads to specific weapons and missions rather than pursuing speed alone. He emphasized accuracy over velocity, explained internal and external ballistics, and provided detailed guidance on reloading equipment and suppliers including Hornady, Lee Press, RCBS, and Dillon. Koernke also discussed the strategic application of long-range weapons in combat scenarios, the importance of field training versus bench rest shooting, and announced the availability of .30-06 ammunition through CMP sourced from Greece. The episode stressed the critical importance of reloading capability as a form of self-sufficiency and preparedness.
I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free.
in home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, in home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent.
Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled.
You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep and yet. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn.
and your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave?
O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As Iowoki vanished in the midst of whence he came, his words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame.
For even now his tyrants trampled each God-given right. We only watched him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, till the land of the free?
Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to us on We the People Radio Network on wtprn.com. Also on Liberty Tree Radio, AM and FM microstations across the nation, and CB base stations all over the place. Having a lot of fun with that now. And, ladies and gentlemen, it is Weapons Wednesday. Tom, are we safe? Well, there's one in the chamber. Well, and yes, we are. Everything in my... And our perimeter. So again, ladies and gentlemen, this is the Intel report in the afternoon.
It's weapons Wednesday, so get your pen and paper ready because we are going to be covering a lot of contact points and specific subjects. Things going on across the country, of course, too, as we know. Our call in line is 8802, 1984. That's 888-202-1984. We'll open the lines right away. There might be somebody that wants to get some information into us, so you can drop us a line at 888-202-1984-4512.
6466449 is a regular ground line call in. It's pretty warm up here in Michigan. I know that the temperatures are up all around. Looks like we're getting a lot of work done with regard to training schedules, which by the way, I've got a couple of announcements there when we come back off our short break here on We the People Radio Network. For all of you that are listening, we'll be back in about a minute of their hand. Yep. I'll tell you what. There's a little blurb from you from poker face, Paul and his boys.
Go to pokerface.com and you can hear the rest of that. I encourage you to do that. Good, good, Patriot music. Again, pokerface.com, you hear the swords rolling and whatnot. You know, we can run up a little basic. Ronnie Barrett and order one of his 50 and it'll cost you $3 plus. And it's not going to be real accurate matter, you know, it's mill ball. Again, just over $3 away. They'll charge your caliber bullet, load it to your spec, powder and your powder. He knows exactly how to load. You know, you can make it and close your groups up simply
with two or three ways, you know, plus or minus can make it. For someone to say that, well, I can tell you a commercial is going to be, you know, shoot kind of an exam. I could make that. Yes. Well, each person, each weapon is different. Each weapon has its own characteristics and personality. And each shooter does too, combined with them. And the two, well, you got to kind of tailor the round to meet the man. Yep. That let's go down to that. Bonnie's 50 caliber bullet. You can get hornets for just over a dollar, just for the projectiles, just over a dollar. You give
They're coming up here again at Raton for the 4th of July weekend. Mark, they have expanded shooting now when it was originally done. Yeah, there's expansion in the instruction. Talbot used to say shooting the AMAC-6 of the 8th helmet again wasn't just a shooter. We would talk about re-re-one to learn about re-re-re-one. Now you can put a 50 caliber case, Mark, that you need a hammer to open a ball.
And you know, that's not a good thing, you guys. That's not a good thing. You probably won't be able to close it properly again, and if you pull the trigger a second time, you might be wearing the bolt. Yeah. So, common sense of dictate, obviously, we're not going to do that. The reason I address this is because there's one of the Michigan shows that comes on on Saturday. They show a guy shooting an AR-50, and he opens his shirt low, that he... Just like on your .30-06, well, gee whiz, you guys, it's a .50? It's just a bigger gun. It's just a bigger gun.
When you pull the trigger on your 30-06 on your bolt gun and you have to pry that, that's an overpressure charge. When you try to close the bolt on that empty case again and you have to force that, that's an overpressure charge. You're on the verge of catastrophic failure. And there are two directions it's going to go. A, you're going to see a split in the base of the case, which A, will vent gas or
or other material back into the shooter's area, you know, the shooter's face. First cause extraction failure probably too. So if you want to have to pull a piece of brass out that you really, you know, the hard way, you're not going to be able to do it with a bolt. You'll pull the base of the cartridge out. Then you have to get Mr. Remar out and you have to be very careful because you don't want to score the chamber. You're going to end up having to extract a brass tube. Okay. That's no fun. So, and again, let's, let's make a little note here. We're pressured rounds are not
a solution. Let me try to plant a seed here with this. We've talked about this many times, Don, is, okay, you want ultra-fast rounds? You want to have some fun? Here's an idea. I'll plant a seed for you. You got a 50 caliber. Buy the discarding Sable cups. They're available from about three or four companies in the shotgun news right now that will go right into a 50 caliber. Take a match grade M2 30-06 projectile, about 150 grain to 173 grain. That's your choice. You pick the projectile.
Take that projectile to a man who has a CNC mill, okay, something that is completely computerized. Ideally it'll be done on a lathe, as a matter of fact, but it can be done on a mill just as easily. And what you do is let him spec out that bullet. You have him cut you as many projectiles as you want in 4140 chromoly steel.
Wow, you got a solid projectile. You got good weight. You've got it in a sable cup and guys you can press 5,000 feet and I'm not exaggerating about 5,116 feet per second chronograph. I've done it about 5,000 feet per second out of a 50 caliber with a 30 caliber projectile Now you have to use a bolt
to open or close that? Nope, you can open and close the bolt. That's right, you can open it all day and close it all day. Now, here's for a, Don, you mentioned that other guy, might have that 30 out of six, and he thought, boy, I got a bolt out, that bullet down range to press 200 and, I'm sorry, 2,900 to 3,100 feet per second. Why bother? You can get discarding Sabo cups for the 30 caliber rifle.
that'll do the same thing guys. They will fire a 223 projectile. Now you take your favorite 223 Sierra Boat Tail projectile over to that same man that has that CNC technology and have him make a whole bunch of solid steel dart 223 projectiles for you that'll sit right in those Sabo cups. You can press almost, I've seen it done, but I wouldn't, I'd just stick around the 5,000 foot mark again.
We're talking about so fast there's no time to flight from the from the weapon to the impact area very very flat trajectory very flat and here's the thing because you made it out of steel or you could make it out if you want to get fancy pick an alloy tungsten carbide there you go tungsten carbide in a discarding sable cup isn't even even come close to being even you know it's gonna get warm going through the air that's why you got to make it a steal when you start pressing these velocities you need a full metal jacket projectile obviously
A lead projectile at these velocities literally starts to melt in flight. The arrow when you're starting to go past about 22 or 2400 feet per second. It leaves the arrow in one piece. Right, and so here's the thing, these discarding Sable cups allow you to do research and experiment once you see what's being done. And you can buy, I think it's 1,000 or 3,000 of the 30 caliber Sable cups for about $90.
That's a heck of a buy. They're already fabricated and the discarding sable cups will work in everything from a 30 Tokarev pistol cartridge making your little 30 Tokarev a Star Wars blaster literally or going right up to 30 out 6 and 300 wind Magnum.
with a 30 caliber Sabo. I'm talking a plastic cup. Basically what they did is they took tank technology and scaled it down into rifle rounds. An example is the accelerator rounds you'll find Remington was making for years used the same discarding Sabo cup to create the same kind of performance.
out of standard firearms off the shoulder but you're not abusing the weapon and Don that's the thing that you're emphasizing is you cannot afford to abuse the weapon we can't replace these things. That's right. Now here's another caveat you guys if you're shooting a stable off your muzzle brake because those parts are going to be they're not going to be real friendly to your brake let's just do it like unless it's you know like we used to call them like cuz compensators. Right.
Okay, we'll have more on this subject when we get back you guys the intelligence report mark and time it is weapons Wednesday And let's put a benchmark on that hey, it's the 13th lucky 13 Yeah, mines are tough right now, but there are a lot of different ways to get ourselves out of this mess

L A S E M E D I N C dot com call 7 0 2 9 5 3 0 2 6 7 Saturday night catch the Worsley show from 10 p.m. To 12 central right here on we the people radio network Okay, you guys the intelligence report. I really would like to let
poker face play out but we you know we've got a big hunk of meat to chew on here and we're gonna get it done okay now back to that overpressure you know if you're new to reloading Hornaday sells bread and most any powder manufacturer bullet man about when you start of the manufacturer's recommended maximum low at least 10% is sneak up on that mark for the listeners because in in a given round speed isn't necessarily increase in accuracy
can be done in say bows with the right if it comes up center from side to side or whatnot. We'll talk about a bone centered again in just a little while. Again, go 10%, even 15% back. You know, most bolt action 50s, they think, well, I get it up around 3000 feet per second at 3000 feet per second. This is a broad brush. They're going to say next in a given gun at 3000 feet per second, you might have eight inch yards. Now that's a tenth of a minute. That's not bad in yards. That's a 16. So what do you want to work with? If you back that down,
If you back that down to maybe 27, maybe 2600 feet per second, you might find that your group's cut size in half. And most important too is think about this, you're firing a 50 caliber, a 750 grain projectile, plus or minus, could be a 700, you could be going with an 800 custom load, whatever it is you've got. Accuracy is more important than speed at this point and just generally we're not trying to scare them, you're trying to knock the target down.
If you hit it with a 650 grain projectile, trust me, you're going to knock it down and it's not going to get back up. So it's more important that that first round be placed where it needs to hit, especially since this is a weapon system that has very specific and specialized application and requires certain types of support that you want to make sure you don't squander. It's an excellent system for that long range shot.
and putting rounds into a particular target without any doubt about the end result if there's any kind of a hit. Let's address the difference between a bolt gun and a semi-auto. There are a number out there which seems to be inside the industry agrees. The guy down the street built most of the parts selling your gun. Looks all of an awful lot like Ronnie's gun. Now there's a... I can't use this... Oh, correct. Again, even deeper, you know what I mean, the swamp kids are using them. Ronnie Barrett's gun. Horses are using them. You heard a few years ago.
ago about the Canadian making a shot at 2700 yards. Three shots at that. Seven hundred yards the target could be one of the reason. The carrier so to speak, airplane you know for a long time that was the speed limiting factor traveling through the speed of sound for an airplane. Well the bullet gets buffeted slightly so that decreases your accuracy beyond your sound to slower than the speed of sound. That can happen depending on how fast your round is going anywhere from 1800 to 2400 rounds down range. Yards down range. So again speed can be a blessing.
If you can bring a small group, if you want a supersonic 2,000 plus yards, you're going to have to have a little bit of fat. You're going to have to be up around four feet per second. But if you're up that fast and you're shooting 20 inch groups at 2,000 yards, unless you're shooting against a vehicle, what good is it? It's a fine balance in there. And you need to find it with your individual gun. That's what I'm trying to tell you.
That's something that's tied in with what one of our friends in the chat room has pointed out that in many cases, weapons and rounds that reach out to say 100 yards and 500 yards, they may run out of gas at 700 yards simply because of the nature of the loading. And this is true, so in many cases there are specific formulas, and so we talked about earlier when we brought this up in the first place, it's a combination of the shooter and the weapon and choosing the application properly.
so that we don't, you know, again, we don't run into other problems with certain performance levels since we're loading at one, we're loading in one range, but we're trying to reach, we're trying to bring the weapon out to a distance that may not apply with that particular load.
Maybe a hundred yard shot because you cover you guys You know what mark the Germans hated 50 cal the Germans hated the M2 they could be told you the thousand two thousand yards away There's a guy they don't even know he's there and all of a sudden a bullet started jinni you guys I'm certain some people out there who can you know shoot 300 yards with their 22 so again this goes back and we have many times be drum for becoming kind of if you have one rifle of the Every every moving part on it. You're gonna need to replace you
because if you don't replace that. You know probably the best example I can give you that you know like when we talk about and this is what was pointed out is that you have to tailor the round for the mission but you have to understand its limitations. Years ago we were experimenting because I've always experimented with a lot of projectiles. We were offloading on a bench. We had a 45-70 trapdoor Springfield carbine model. 500 grain bullet, jacketed soft point, not hollow point, jacketed soft point out of the box, Hornady projectile.
and then I had some Sierra bullets, Sierra 2. But anyway, we were hand loading them, 23 grains of red dot, and we experimented, 21 grains, cup loaded, no accuracy as far as no precision, like in other words, we weren't measuring every load, we were just using a scoop. That, we actually tailored it using 21 grains to the point where there was no flash, less noise than a 22 CB cap,
And at 100 yards, we were putting them into a quarter-sized group, five round groups.
No sound, no modifying the weapon. It was purely tailoring the load to the weapon itself. Many weapons can be developed this way, but again, when you reach farther out, you may be golf balling the thing, but unfortunately it works just a bit, it works no better than a golf ball. If the round is not, it doesn't have enough energy, it's not going to do the job at greater ranges. So we have to balance the formula there. You know, we go from the one extreme overcharging to the other, which is underdressing the round.
I'll tell you what, we're at the bottom, oh yes we are at the bottom of the hour break. We've got Don and Mark here on the intel report. We'll be back on We the People Radio Network in about four minutes.

know what, let's... I started to talk about being a true bolt guy, a number, and Ronnie sells a true single shot 50 caliber too. The magazine said semi-automatic. You know, there are people who, in building their rounds, Mark, and this is not as uncommon as it used to be, who buy a dial indicator in a little role and they'll read the run out of the bullet as of the case. They're looking for, Mark, is that bullet being as true as humanly possible front to back in the center of the bore and as it runs down the bobble in the bore because that wobble
gonna be exhibited internal ballistics and there's external ballistics you guys everything that happens inside the gun external ballistics everything that happens outside the gun once it leaves that muzzle yes internal ballistics they have a great influence and external ballistics and you know this is why we're talking either whatnot get a little more fine here because you know if you want to the other and this goes back over to the 30-06 any semi-automatic gun that stripped from the magazine with a
high-speed bolt. You know a bolt beam. Even if you've sat down and run your...prepared your bullet to the extent that you have zero, I repeat zero, which is you know quite a...it's quite a place to get to. Zero run out on every bullet. Now you start pressing them down in that magazine. Now well we win one magazine with 10 days heavy. That magazine into the bottom of the Barrett you start pulling every time that bolt magazine and moves the bullet forward. You know it's the same basic process in your 1911.
You're rather your high-powered or your Glock but every time and we've touched on this in a different asset It's been loaded and unloaded from the weapon. It's been affected in one more than one way Yeah, every time a high-speed bolt drags a bullet out of a magazine and Punches it up hard. It was pressed in no matter how tight the cantaloure and the the mouth of the brass You know, there's there you to adjust your groups to loosening or tightening the amount of crimp on your brass Well, but no matter how tight when that bullet gets pushed
magazine hits that ramp up into the chamber the bloop was when you built it on and here's what I'm getting at mark and all those that are listening if you want to shoot that thousand yards or even at a thousand yards and you want to shoot that small that you might but you know there's different applications even with the same if you want to shoot that five inch group into that chain
As a suppression weapon, let's say using it for long range, if you've got a target, let's say you've had a, let's look at a combat infantry situation. You've got a 10-man squad. It's moving and you want to keep them at 1,600 yards. After you hit the first target, no matter what condition it is in, no matter what condition he's in, if you winged him, if you hit him center of mass, either way, everybody in the rest of what's left of the survivors of that squad
Now have to change their posture and slow down if they wish to survive to get near you or close enough to engage you. You have now forced them to go to ground and change to tactical overwatch in a situation where they were probably hoping to be able to travel a little bit longer before they made contact to fight.
So the advantage here is in placing that first round and then the second round and then even the third round into a target, you are progressively retreating. You're engaging to destroy the enemy in such a way that they're incapable of responding to you. They can golf ball rounds in, but what good is it going to do if they can't actually even be sure where the rounds are coming from? If at 2-2-3, you'll watch them hit. If at 1,200, 1,400 yards, you
to engage and they're shooting a .223 at the ground, .243, 400 yards in front of you. My favorite example of this is the difference between MBR's main battle rifles being used in combat by the Mujahshadim in Afghanistan against the Russians and some of these very famous pictures where they had just started to use the AK-74 and the AK-74 in 5.45. Of course, the kid runs over to the edge of this little rock wall next to this drop off on the road
You see the puffs of smoke across the valley and you see the bullets winging off of the armor or hitting the pavement or the wall next to where the kid's crouching. He grabs his AK, pitches it at about a 55 degree angle plus, and pulls the trigger, you know, to go throw a three round burst down and it doesn't even come close.
And you talk about frustration. He's taking hits. The buddy next to him gets hit. The guy, or at least the vehicle, keeps going ping, ping, ping, which is telling him that whoever is shooting across that valley has something shoulder-fired that they can actually engage and do damage with. So it's the same situation here with the 50. The 50 is an excellent solution. However, you've got to be able to move with the weapon. Now here's one of the things that's critical.
Have you trained and used the weapon in the field? Have you tried then? And this is something they used to do, Don, with the reserve and National Guard and the active army had a competition with the squad machine guns. Later on it was the M60 that probably they're still doing it with the MAG-58, whatever its new nomenclature is. But the point is, or the saw, is that you have the belt-fed gun, you have a team, a crew, and you have to run for one mile.
Before you get to the firing line, you have to move as quickly as possible, get to the firing line, set the gun up, and engage a series of targets. So it's a realistic scenario, and this is where again, bench rest as opposed to live real fire is going to be off the wall. You're going to have to actually look at your conditions.
Pick the best situation and that's where again you brought up the whole point of prone fire which is still your best choice. Everything's stable, the weapon is biped, biped mounted. You have an opportunity to use the weapon to the best of your ability but you've got to also be able to engage and then leave. So you need to pick a series of fight firing points. In other words I'm going to engage, I'm going to hopefully hit the target I'm aiming at, I'm going to fall back to my secondary position.
Or I'm going to have another gunner who's going to be doing the same thing I'm doing and I'm going to fall back to my secondary position beyond him and you can actually leapfrog back and exhaust the infantry in front of you. Because those poor buggers are having to run that whole 1,600 yards, well not run, now they're going to run crawl or they're going to leapfrog over each other because they're not going to want to expose themselves for any longer than they can. Well now it's taking them a lot longer to cross that 1,600 yards.
to get to what they perceive to be the objective which you have already abandoned. You've wasted all that life's time on them. You've created casualties. You've suppressed and created an adrenaline rush that cannot be satisfied because there's nothing they can do to respond to it. That creates massive frustration now. Oh yeah. I wanted to address that massive frustration you guys. When you look at your boys come home these days, look at...
insignia or rather the lack of rank on their uniform. There's a reason for that. We can talk about, you know, the British in the Revolutionary War. Why, that's not very gentlemanly. Don't you know? Right. We must talk about the targeting of officers during combat operations. Yeah. You remember that from the Patriot. The Patriot. Yeah. Now, Gibbs is moving. As long as you continue to work with, again, we will continue to target officers. That was the response, I do believe. Yep.
So again, you know, all's fair. But we'll talk more on this subject when we come back, you guys. The intelligence report. Mark and Don, and get your paper and pencils ready in the last segment.

such a great big mystery to disease anymore. This basic tenet of yeast in the gut and metals in the liver covers at least seven to eighty percent of the diseases that we see. When we do our program, you know, in herbal formulas like cardivite, and you see someone who could barely walk up a hill, now going for regular jobs a few months later, we know we're doing something right. It's a well thought out formula. I mean, the idea of it working on yeast and metals both at the same time and liver function instead on.
You'll find, I think, that it'll work more than just on heart problems and circulation problems. It'll work on other problems as well. For more information, call 1-877-928-8822 or visit our website at www.heartdrop.com. That toll free number again, 1-877-928-8822.

Great host, great topics, great speech at its best. This is We The People Radio Network. Okay you guys, but we can't do that today. Earlier I encouraged you to get your paper and pencil ready. If you have to, the chalk and chalkboard works just as well. Hornaday. We've been talking about Hornaday. You know, they also built for 50 and everything right down up and below. I'm certain if you can even get the...
But Hornaday Manufacturing, they sell the Hornaday Bullet and they sell presses, you guys. They're 3821. Again, 308, that's a pretty rich one. Hornaday. For reloading, they have a single station, one thing with one stroke. Hollywood, you know, there's debates between Mark, between a single station and multi-station. Hollywood Engineering sells a multi-stage press. They sell a single stage press too. But I've met Joe, 50 caliber shooters via that action. Now you can get a hold of them at 818.
848. Hit Hornaday or Holiday, either one will set Yelloway, you know, most any caliber that you want to reload. We ask that you get into reloading no matter what. In fact, most people say, well I can't afford, okay, if you have to go bargain basement, LEE Press does C-presses, they do O-presses, and they also do hand presses, in other words, they're like what we call nutcrackers, that allow you to do single station work,
and you can buy them from anywhere from as little as $34 for a basic press, sometimes with or without dies, to as much as $50 some dollars as a starter system. This at least means you have something on the shelf and you can develop it from there. Go to the gun shows, check things out, move around, find out what's available.
I would recommend also make sure you get bullet molds if you have a certain caliber you're working on. That's a whole technology into itself, but we need to have the capability to expand our base of operations tenfold, a hundredfold, a thousandfold. And everybody out there with reloading technology, there are two things. You're going to keep those companies producing, which is critical. You want to spend more money, there's RCBS, there's Dillon out there.
Like Don said you've got all these other companies producing you pick a path But stick to it make sure you set up a budget line and get things done. You're gonna need primer You're gonna need powder. You're gonna need projectiles. You've got dyes. You've got presses you get more intricate depending upon how of course how much time you're willing to commit to it so you can go fairly simple and You don't have to get really fancy with with the loading steps. We're talking about bringing these weapons up into nail driving range
In most cases, we're just looking to be able to hit a one gallon bucket at a hundred yards. That'll be just fine. Keep it inside that one gallon bucket. Put that one gallon bucket anywhere on a chest or up at the top of a set of shoulders and lo and behold, chances are you've run their gourd. Okay? And that's what you're trying to do here. This is a combat arm, well, or a hunting arm, but it's designed with a particular mission in mind here. Now, real quick, as we gave out the other information,
gibrass.com. This company has powder right now. I believe right now they've got some of the IMR type powders. Eight pound cans for $100 plus or minus. Typically they're going for a little more right now, but it depends on what powder. If you're loading Ot-6 or 308, these powders are available. It's gibrass.com. They also have projectiles.
uh... another one down right now cmp go to the shotgun user do a search cmp has brought in forty three million rounds forty three m a million rounds of m two thirty out six ball got it in key clips now that this is this is the replacement for the uh... the dcm basically is what it comes down to you
They're $110 for 480 rounds of .30-06. Probably in D, M1 Garand clips, the D clip that you need for the M1 rifle. This stuff was made, we were having a conversation on this with a couple different people in the last few days, but everybody agrees that this ammo was made on our machinery that we shipped overseas to the Greeks. It's Greek brass, but it's boxer-primed, non-corrosive, heat-and-neel case,
standard US M2 ball for all practical purposes but it's made overseas. Your M1 Garand, your 1903 Springfield, your 1917 Enfield, your 30 out 6 Ross rifle, anybody got one of those out there? Remember the Ross straight pull? There's a bunch of out 6's including all your savages, your Remingtons, your flinch chestors, oh I'm sorry, Winchester. But anyway, the point is that man, everybody has their personal choice so I didn't mean to make fun of Winchester but
If you have a certain weapon, here's a chance to pick up the ammunition. And so there are a lot of different options, a lot of things that can be done. We have the information. There was a request, by the way, and I'm going to pull this out. I was actually looking at my files. There is a process whereby you can make 223 FMJ, full metal jacket bullets, using lead solder bars, solder rods, and 22 caliber rimfire shells.
We are going to post that information again. Now there are three different processes. All of them are incredibly simple, very easy to use. So for anybody out there listening, this is why I beg y'all save every piece of brass you shoot. I don't care if it's a .22 rimfire, I don't care if it's .50 caliber BMG and it turns out to be Burdam Prime.
Brass is going to be critical and it is already there is a shortage of ammunition this ammunition coming in like this out six is the odd man out right now and Again, it's CMP 30 out six. They've brought this stuff in is basically the DCM equivalent ammunition There was some carbine from the same source and one carbine But I do not know if that's available and through the DCM youth shooting program carbine was available
You need to check on that to find out if it is. And you've got a young person who has a carbine. They were giving some excellent prices. It was in the 600 round tins. So you're going to have to double check and look around. Anything and everything could be recycled. One of the things about reloaders, and I'll repeat this what I said earlier in another show, Don. Another program.
I believe that the reason they loosened up the ammunition in the 80s is because they realized that so many people were getting into reloading and remanufacturing that the factories were all over the country as little pods of people like you and me that got together and just started cranking it out. Well, it defeated their whole purpose behind their anal retentive control freak nonsense with the Gun Control Act of 68. So they had to loosen things up in hopes of slowing down the reloading process.
Okay, think about it. Yes, because everybody was out there reloading I've got a herders press put away that it makes a rock chucker look like a joke This thing was built like an industrial dog house. You can do 50 caliber cases in it and it won't even squeak
It actually just, it's done. And this predates most of the 50 caliber presses that are out there. But herders did a whole family of pieces of machinery that are out there wandering around in the other world. So if grandpa's getting rid of some stuff and you're gonna get into reloading, you might wanna check with grandpa or dad and see what they have maybe under the bench. Oh, you never know Don. We found all kinds of goodies under the bench, haven't we?
This is true.
it at the family event everybody got two or three your wife can be involved as and should be the going to get your family involved in under to understand the technology and the the the interaction with regard to production that takes place everybody can run a single-stage press if i were you out there i would buy three progressively three single-stage step
old presses and you set up a little production line. That way your children can get involved, they learn the process, your wife can get involved, you're spending time together. When you're done you can empty them out again by going to the range. You know what you guys, there is a image here. A match grade 50 caliber bullet for about three dollars. Give or take a quarter. That's right. And you're going to be shooting all-cell you match grade. Your specific right. Talbot used to say, Mark, that
Well, once you start reloading, doesn't mean you're going to be saving money on it. It just means you'll be shooting more. That's right. But proficiency is gained through use and accuracy increases with proficiency. There you go. Shoot more. That's right. You want to shoot more. That's why reloading is a solution. We're at the top of the hour, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for being here. Thanks to the chat room. As always, God bless the Republic.
Death eternal to the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We are on the march both day and night. Reach out. Reach out at range and let them know you're there. But then, move on to the second position. All of us will be back in about four minutes here on We the People Radio Network for the second hour of the Intel Report.
Did you read this? Chicago just became the murder capital of America. I don't understand. It's been a felony to have a gun since 95. I thought that was supposed to prevent murders. I don't increase them. Criminals will always find a way to get guns, while the rest of us are just left defenseless. Chicago authorities have seized over 75,000 firearms since 1995. And now, Chicago's murder rate is twice as high as New York City. Tonight, while you're asleep, criminals will be at work.
Not in Kennesaw, Georgia. In 1982, our city passed a law requiring every household to have a gun. It terrified the criminals, and our violent crime rate is now 75% below the national average. We sleep well here in Kennesaw. Americans who own guns prevent over a million violent crimes every year and save lives. Get the facts. Visit armedandsecure.org. That's armedandsecure.org.
