Summary
Mark Koernke hosted a Memorial Day special episode focused on honoring veterans and military service. He discussed the historical significance of militia forces in American history, from the Revolutionary War through the Civil War and beyond, emphasizing their defensive role in protecting the nation. Koernke promoted self-sufficiency through gardening and food preservation, encouraging listeners to plant seeds and establish sustainable food sources. He also shared personal reflections on local historical sites near his Michigan homestead, including old cemeteries and Revolutionary War battlefields, and criticized current U.S. military involvement in Iraq as unjustified.

I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free.
and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent.
Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled.
You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number and traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn.
and your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave?
O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the midst of whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame.
For even now his tyrants trampled each God-given right. We only watched him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free? This is the Intelligence Report. I'm Mark Wirke, one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on and behind the lines in occupied territories.
North, south, east, and west. Ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on We The People Radio Network, on wtprn.com, and on Liberty Tree Radio. It is Memorial Day. This is the day you're supposed to have your flags out. Oh, not just because it's the barbecue weekend, but because of all the people who have served, and all the people who have gone before us to protect us in one form or another, at one time or another, as soldiers, as militia.
as individuals who were serving in uniform, both overseas and here in the United States, and there's a lot of them. And so if you get a chance, something I asked on other programs, and I'll do it again, still got time today. You're all satiated, probably got lots of barbecue in you, had a chance to relax. You're going to come home from the beach, might be listening to us on a micro FM, might be listening to us at home, might be a cemetery within walking distance.
If you get a chance, go in and take a look at some of the stones. And if you see one that's missing a flower or missing a flag because it's a veteran, do them a little favor. Stick one or the other on that cemetery marker for today and do it to remember the people who have fallen. So this is a good chance to do it. And we're doing it because it's part of our tradition, part of our heritage. It's one thing the ACLU has tried to destroy to make everything just nebulous blobs. So I'll tell you what, that's not the case.
These are American soldiers. They swore to protect and defend the Constitution, the Bill of Rights. And again, let's honor them today, just as they honored us by giving their lives. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Intel Report. We're going to be back. It's our short break. We've got a whole hour ahead of us right here on We the People Radio Network. Intel Report Live. We've been working out in the yard. We've been getting stuff done here with the masses today. Want to say to all our people out there, we're working on it. In fact, the package is staring me right in the face.
little pile about two inches everything ready to go. So for all our PBN reporters, the press pass is almost ready to go and for those who requested forms, I've got those. In fact, I've got one right in my hand right here. So that and the forms I remember this is just basic information for your benefit. We're not collecting anything and I don't want to collect anything but in fact you decide what it is you want on your press pass. Let's put it that way.
So, whatever data you want that corroborates who you are, be it your name or if you want numbers, you can have a press pass number from us anyway. That's all up to you. And again, you'll be on file if anybody were to question. Yes, you are a PBN, Patriot Broadcasting Network Press Corps official. And having a lot of fun with that. You've heard some people come up on the air that some of our scholars in the Patriot effort
A lot of other people are going to be coming up in lumps, so to speak, because there are a number of subjects from pro se work in the courts, which of course, as we know, they're as corrupt as the day is long. And I don't think that's what the veterans who passed away were trying to protect people. In fact, we're fighting to prevent that. Of course, we were told that's what we were doing with some of these people we've been fighting over many years. The Bar Association is as corrupt and wicked as the day is long. It's part of the agenda. It's the re-invasion of the United States by the Crown.
And so we're going to talk about that a lot. We have a lot of questions about that. I know a lot of people who are looking for that in with regard to understanding the history of this nation. And I think it changes your perspective when you look at the invasion waves that took place. And two generations after the American Revolution, it was a battle right from the beginning, the moment we formed this country. And every so many years, men stepped forward and did battle with the invader in one form or another, not just the borders and overseas.
But inside the United States with the traders who were trying to hand us back over to the crown, and there's a lot of actions that took place inside the U.S. that were it not for a few men who stood up and other men who stood with them who had served in uniform, who understood right from wrong, we would have been in far worse shape far sooner. And has it been a series of betrayal? Well, we've had victories. Some would say, well, they're fruitless victories. Well, you're still here.
uh... fortunately we can still talk about those men course they are the other side are trying to write them out of the history books obviously uh... i'm gonna do that a little more often on this program i was thinking about today but uh... now we're gonna kind of just go through a number of subjects but uh... i'm gonna hit on the revolution here i wanna read some pieces uh... that are historical notes from the period and these aren't you know any kind of legends or anything these are actually like what they were the unit order of battle for uh... in histories
written by the commanders or written by individuals who they weren't, you know, they weren't big on penmanship. They weren't epic authors. They were just the guys writing about what had happened to them every day and to the men that fought with them. When you read accounts like this, especially when they're from books where the history was much fresher and younger, I mean think about this. You write an American history book in 1823. How many years of American history do you have to write about?
Well, not very many, but somebody expects you maybe to do a ten volume series. Well, with a ten volume series, especially in those days, you have a chance to incorporate a lot more names and individuals, personalities, and interactive events than with the glossing over that you see that the globalists want to do because they want you to forget your history.
And it's interesting because it makes it personal. It makes you realize, hey, I recognize that name. I wonder if that guy's a relative of Frank. You know, I know Frank, known him for a long time. Or, hey, you know, Bob said his family was in the revolution. I recognize some of these places. That sounds like the place he came from. I wonder if he, and then we get you into conversations, which makes you talk about and interlock how that history has affected you and us and this country and has formed this nation.
So there's all kinds of fascinating things all through the South. They've done a better job, I think, of preserving the history than the boobies up north here. And that is very, very apparent. For all of the poverty that the South suffered, the South did a much, much, much better job of historically preserving both the battlefields, great and small, and
considering their poverty. You've got to remember, the South suffered for the 20 years after the war. The US put granite monuments up here and there. Go to Gettysburg, lots of pretty stuff. But you'll find that a percentage of what's in the Gettysburg even was done by the Confederacy. A percentage that is put up that are different monuments, also by other organizations, by the way. And different elements from the South came forward and actually helped to preserve sites that otherwise probably would not have been.
protected. So there's a greater depth of bonding and a greater depth of understanding in many ways when you go to places like that. Ever get a chance? My wife's aunt, her name was Aunt Lucy, she's gone now. She was a great patriot and she was a Confederate patriot too by the way and so she was very very much up and into the history of Dixburg partially because of course family members, direct descendants, some that she remembered who were still alive when she was a child.
uh... were part of the history that she knew and that she could walk you through with regard to the surrounding area well if you get a chance go to the vixburg battlefield take a look at it because it is fascinating in the way it was preserved in the fact that it's as it stood yeah there's some michigan people down there buried others uh... some it's fascinating elements of both the the farthest points leading up to the battle of the siege of vixburg and the actions right there at
That's just one of many. There's all kinds of places. You can go take a chance if you want to. Not a chance, but take some time. And another one is go up to the head of Mississippi. If you trace on the map, you'll find it. If you look on the map, you'll find a place called Natter, the top of the Natchez Trace. The Natchez Trace is the first American highway. It wasn't any highway back then, but it was a pretty big trail. And a combination of the Indian roads,
and other cuts that were made made it a kind of earth and super highway. And so it runs the whole stretch of Mississippi. Now the neat thing about the Natchez Trace, if you ever get a chance, is it's all scenic. There's Indian mounds, Indian village, sites, old ones, battlegrounds. You pass some beautiful swamp land and rivers and lakes. I mean, just classic stuff that you've seen in paintings and pictures. But you can run the whole length of the state and then get down to Vicksburg.
And it's a beautiful drive, there's no semi-trucks on it, it's all just for personal vehicles and campers. So you got all kinds of historical locations up and down it, you have the top over the head of the Natchez Traces up in Tennessee, the base goes down to the bottom of Mississippi. Take the time and check that out, right? You know, rather than rushing along, and again, it'll help you to save gas, take your time down the Natchez Trace and go down south and take a look at some of these locations.
uh... doesn't mean we don't have places up here not only a county away from historic battlefield in monroe many of them in fact house i'm sitting in was part of the indian wars and uh... going to indian wars of michigan by the way in the northern territories not the western indian wars and uh... that we're sitting only about a mile and a half from where many many battles were fought on territorial road territorial road was exactly think about the name territorial road uh... represents
the demarcation point between the Indian territories and the settled lands in the southern part of Michigan. It runs the whole length of the state. It runs right through Battle Creek. Battle Creek, Michigan was one of the militia rally points for years and years and years and eventually
to talk about tradition. Eventually, Fort Custer military reservation was put there. So, history is all around us. It's all part of the battles that were fought here and the people that are buried because of them. And this is the day to remember them. So it's a lot of fun and it's a lot of excitement in the process because you get to use your imagination when you're standing there. I'll tell you what, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to go through a little bit more of this and a few other ideas I have right here on We The People Ready Network. We'll be right back.

This is Michael Badnarik inviting you to join me on Tuesday, May 29th to celebrate Patrick Henry's birthday with my co-host Patrick Henry right here on We The People Radio Network. The Infel Report Live and you're listening to Mark and Don had Don take a break today. Mark's going to take a little bit of time on the radio. Thoughts, ideas, things to plant out there, of course by way of planting. All of you put some food in the ground this year, put a garden in.
We always do it no matter what. We also do a natural planting to a degree. In other words, we propagate certain things. I'll give you an example. We've got mint patches out back. We have wild garlic. We have wild onion. And I mean, patches we've propagated over a period of years. Also wild strawberries. Wild raspberries, which this year we're going to have a phenomenal. You can engineer the land on you. People would just taking a few hours, just an hour each day. Pick a plant that you want to try and motivate.
get rid of all the other competition around it and start to centralize it a little bit. My example is I just walked out about a week and a half ago and I had a bunch of garlic that was sprouting. So what I did, walked out, went across the road, walked over next to the water course over there, got a nice natural artesian fed stream, and I planted probably two, three full heads of garlic.
many many cloves and now I just checked on them yesterday walked over spot checked real quick I've got about 25 garlic plants started now you know what's the cool thing about garlic it's like onion and everything else once they start up remember they produce their own for their own seed they drop back down they start to take over an area a little bit now they won't command it because there are other competition plants unless you get rid of the competition for a little bit and then they have a denser patch this is food for the future
Also, it manages itself. I don't have to stand over there and stare at it constantly. It's going to go all on its own. The Raspberry Bushes natural barbed wire. Provegate them in specific ways. We've got Thunderberries, Gooseberries, Hazelnut, Hazelnut Bocage, which is where you take the Hazelnut and work them together. And that's just exactly what you get is just like what they had in France, what they called the Bocage. Remember that we had to fight our way through, talk to World War II vets. You didn't just walk through it. In fact, it was imp... So these are all things you can do that are natural. Don't require a whole lot of effort.
This house, this homestead is old, it's ancient, so there's a lot of unique non-hybrid plants around here. I've got pickling plum, pickling pear, which you can't find anymore. Both of these breeds, very, very prolific and real super producers last year, and they're technically wild, although they're cultivated and I clean them. I do a little bit of work on them, family has. I, of course, wasn't around. I just got back off from behind the wire in the last, whoa, 60-some days. Good to be out.
But I'm not unbusy. In fact, just reverse. We've been very, very busy. Another thing, when gardening, even if all you do is a single couple of crop, but you do a lot of it, you're making a big difference. Think about this. If you're soil only can handle a certain type of growth. And if your friends down the road have another kind of soil, maybe concentrate on certain crops between the allies. And then trade back and forth what you need, how you work together and cooperate.
Everybody's happy in the bartering system and everybody gets what they want. You get more of what you need, they get more of what they need, everybody's satisfied. One of the situations has to be taken into consideration. We're going to have to be ready people. And by the way, right now the seeds are all on sale. This weekend on, you're going to go into the hardware, you're going to go into the whatever store.
You're going to find racks and racks of seeds for a nickel apiece, you know, 20 for a dollar, 15 for a dollar, 30 for a dollar, whatever. Even if all that's left is just the salads and lettuce and whatever, if they've been spent out, grab all of them that you can and put them on the shelf in a can. Big deal. They can sit there on the shelf until next year. In fact, you can put them in the freezer, put them in the fridge and keep them secure that way.
Remember, be creative with the different storage systems. The most important thing is don't let them get wet. Keep them dry. Keep them in storage, get them ready for the next process when you're going to be harvesting next year and maybe needing the food that much more when the time comes. You need to plant it and then you need to pick it. So other ideas we're working on there. Again, there are three growing cycles during most of the summers, even here in Michigan. Example, my grandfather years ago during the Depression,
When the first spring hit with regard to Michigan, one of the things that they did is everybody scrambled around for seeds. Oh, seeds, that were hard to find? Well, everybody forgets in October when the Depression hit, the seed companies went down with everybody else. When spring came around, there were no seeds in proper numbers for all the millions of people who thought they were going to plant gardens.
So, for a few dollars right now, what's your life worth down the road or what's your level of comfort worth? Let's put it this way. There you go. If you don't have to think with your stomach but instead can think with your mind, you'll be thinking more rationally, intelligently. So, a few dollars on the shelf is very simple for you to put things like even just radice seed, lettuce seed, carrots.
You can keep putting carrots in the ground and keep running right up until the end of the season, just about. And if you're up like here where we are, a couple of tricks. One of my sister-in-law did for years is just cover all of the carrot lines with straw, go out, move the snow a little bit, and pull the carrots right up out of the ground through the winter. Now, if you have a root cellar, better still. So there are all kinds of solutions.
And again, save the seeds when you're producing. Now there's a situation there. You can make your own seeds from a hybrid. You're going to have a little bit of a deficiency there in some cases, depending on the plant. But for the most part, you're going to get some production the next season. And remember, you can also buy non-hybrid seeds. There are companies out there. We're going to bring their names up on the air. In fact, I got several catalogs in the file right behind me.
And these companies specialize in all kinds of other exotic or unique foods that you really could be cool for to have around. The father, well, we'll say the mother of corn, for instance, many of the different grains, different types of grains. And there's all kinds of interesting and exotic stuff that is easy to grow, simple to use. Squash is another example. Again, we get it for five cents. And they're non hybrid. Five cents a pouch. Little five cents a packet. And they're nine hybrid. It's an American seed company.
But we've had these for a couple of years and these packages have been no problem. They've stored well and they've served well when the time came. So there are solutions out there. Now again, not to be in a downer mode because we've got a good holiday weekend here, at least we have for part of it. Sunshine all today, a little wet over the weekend, but everything's kicked in accordingly. It's been great for the gardens. I cannot stress enough the food issue.
and that's why I keep bringing it up and going back to it just like alternate power, alternate energy. All of these subjects are crucial to our needs, to taking care of ourselves, not expecting something to drop from the sky other than bombs. And as far as what governments providing, yeah, look at what they're doing for the Iraqi people. I mean, look at what they're doing to the Iraqi people. Oh, oh no, I mean, I'm sorry, they're saying they're doing it for the Iraqi people.
Same thing will be coming here after a while if the New World Overclick has its way, especially if we don't count out of them and kiss Rumpus. And we don't plan on kissing Rumpus and we aren't going to hand our weapons over. So that means that you're all going to get a chance to be experienced veterans too. And for that reason, pay homage and honor to those who have fallen before us. Here we are with a beautiful holiday weekend. And I will ask again, driving down the road, especially down a secondary road and you pass an old cemetery, rather than roll on by it at 55 miles an hour.
Why don't you take a minute and relax. Slow down, pull into the cemetery for a minute, look around, check out the names. Look at the headstones. A lot of the older ones especially, depending where you're in the country, are pretty creative. It's not like they just put a name and date on there. Usually there's a lot more information that's worth checking out. Okay? With that being the case, you get a chance to enjoy yourself and also, you know, the rumorations there you can dwell on those histories of those people that you're standing over, long gone but not forgotten.
Again, it's been a pretty exciting month so far. We've got only a handful of days left and we won't see May of 2007 anymore. Some people said we wouldn't make it this far with the country in general. And again, we have. But that doesn't mean things aren't in bad shape right now. They are. And so we're going to try and make sure we offer you some solutions and fix things in the process. But to do that, we're going to have to break off and step away from the New World Orders operations.
That's where you come in and that's where I'm going to come in and try to give you some ideas of how to do it. This is the Intel Report Live. It is Memorial Day weekend. It is Technical Memorial Day, the official acknowledged one. And we'll be back in about three minutes here on We the People Radio Network in LTR. Your life demands long-lasting power.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are back. This is the Intel Report Live. I want to play that through because it's the perfect song for today.
That's Rather Die Than Be Your Slave by Poker Face. It was a song that was proposed as the music video for, not just proposed, it was actually planned to be the video for The Patriot. Just like Three Musketeers, all the others, they don't do rock music all through the movie, but remember they had music videos and they still do this. Well, if you listen to the words, it's perfect. But they decided, Poker Face decided not to do the song or let the song go because
Sony wanted to take all of their music. Well, the problem we have is that Patriot bands typically that do that, their music is never heard. What they'll do is try to keep a copyright, control the copyright of the bad guys. Then what they do is they just shut them down. And you might get one song out, but that's it. So instead, they said no. But what they didn't know is we were conniving at this end over here with LGR and PBN and Thousand Cuts Publishing. So we did.
at this end the boys, my boys, is that they went in and edited a complete video. We had the pre-release footage that was done before the movie was out and sat down with all of that and everybody, you know, when they saw this, when they see this, and here's the thing, you can listen to this thing and watch it at the same time. PokerFace.com, in that video, rather than be your slave, that music video is up on the air, up on their site.
Well, our boys, when boys did this, when they were, you know, young teenagers and pre-teen, for one of them, and put that together. And everybody that saw this, and we always laugh, we had people say, why isn't that, where is that on the DVD? Why didn't they put that on the DVD with all the special features? It hadn't been done by Hollywood, you know? No, it wasn't done by Hollywood. It was done by the guys from Poker Face and my boys who got together. And there's still people that ask, it's like, why, where can I find that on the DVD, on the Patriot? Well, you can't.
It fits. You can see when you look at the imagery that was used, it tells the story of the movie and vice versa. They are interlocked back in version, the short, cool music video version, but it's one of ours. So take the time, go to pokerface.com, check out Rather Die Than Be Your Slave. Perfect song for Memorial Day because a lot of men said that. And a lot of men stepped forward. And no, they weren't all regular army. The militia has always been here in the United States.
In fact, all you call yourself regular army, they're listening maybe, you better take a look at both title 10 and all that the regular military is, is the mobilized act of security force. I always love, I laughed my hind end off when I watched his BS on Jericho. It's, you know, the television series about what not to do if America is attacked, okay? They lose more weapons than you could possibly produce to keep them armed. They lose more vehicles than you could possibly produce to keep them on the road.
and they have no concept of basic physical security. So it's the what not to do program with soap opera in it, okay? But it has its moments. But anyway, unlike Jericho where it's the security force, when they won episode and they're trying to decide, he goes, son, we need to organize, and there was this pregnant pause and he goes, oh, security force. And then they decide to call it the border patrol.
uh... etcetera so again anything to avoid the m word but the militia is what was here first in fact to be quite honest matter what anybody says if the militia that made the final vote that put us into the american revolution period everybody had enough everybody all those who wanted to go halfway those one to compromise to compromise this into so many different actions that the uh... king felt that they could then go after the weapons and they tried and somebody
cast their vote with a trigger pull and everybody else went p-p-p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-pum p-p-p-pum p-p-p-pum p-p-p-pum p-p-p-pum p-p-p-pum p-p-p-pum p-p-p-pum p-p-p-pum p
And every variation fought the American Revolution and died or were wounded or survived to become the patriots of their day. In fact, the surviving Patriot veterans of the day who all honored men just like we are today too, were the kind of Memorial Day. Each one had a different period, a day that has been different. And of course, then we had the war between the states which
The Rockefellers and the Warbirds and the Rothschilds laughed and chuckled over because they got Americans to kill Americans. Most Americans understood what was going on even in the North. And so that program didn't quite go the way they expected and they weren't able to plug in their equivalent to the Federal Reserve, yada yada yada, and foist other activities upon us. And a lot of depressions and things took place in between the Civil War and the Spannam War because of all of the nonsense created by the bankers. And they're in their desperation trying
productive land for free because they're going to take a gunpoint from somebody. North or south. One banking group was spent from the one end, which was punting on taking it from the north. Or, you know, either way. And they were all rough. Rough child's in the north, rough child's were messing around in the south. Warburg's in the north, Warburg's in the south. Bank of England, banks out of France. Bank of England, banks out of France. That's how they played the game. Well anyway, all those men fought, and of course, in many cases,
had their families behind them or very close or nearby. Some of them fought on their own land by the time they were done or many times fought over, they fought to protect their land. This is true of all of the militia forces that are out there. It is traditional because they are a defensive force, not an offensive force. It is the militia that kept things a tad more peaceable in both the War of 1812 and later on in other actions that were border incursions up here in the north. The militia explained and militia commanders put the brakes
on zealous commanders in the regular military who wanted to go farther into Canada. The militia kind of reminded them we're just here to defend the country, not try and conquer somebody else. Well anyway, ladies and gentlemen, here we are in our last break, another 15 minutes Memorial Day holiday weekend here, and it is Memorial Day. We'll be back in three minutes with the People Radio Network and LTR.

Just caught a garter snake only about, you know, up here, garter snake, that's a good sized snake, in this case about two and a half feet long. Nice, healthy one. He keeps down the bugs, goes after all little critters that chew on us, try to chew on us. So he's going back out where he'll be safe. Busy today. All kinds of fun stuff like that where we've been running all the critters and of course having a watch out. We've got purple martins out here, a clutch of about 10 in a nest that's far too small for the birds that are in it.
But they're getting ready to fly, hopefully. And there's another one of those bug getters that helps keep the mosquitoes down. Remember, understand how nature works, because if you're not able to afford off, and as things progressively develop here, a lot of things that we take for granted being able to control, we're going to have to use the old tools. And that's why people put up, for instance, Purple Martin houses, or swallow houses, or hangers, remember, on the side of the houses, all kinds of things you can do.
And we try to do all of them and maintain. And of course, the boys have a great time of the process. And everybody does, because we get a chance to benefit from all of them and check things out. This is an old farmstead, by the way. I will repeat that, because there's a lot of history on this location. This was a halfway house on the old Indian Trail between Ipsilanti and Detroit and Lansing, Michigan. And even on the old maps, you can find this house as a dot when many of the places around it still exist much later.
came and went in directions because of this. But this whole place was an interesting, a little bit of a store, it was a bit of a motel slash hotel if you want to look at it that way, was one of the first post offices right here in Dexter, before Dexter was really Dexter. And you kind of get the feeling for that when you take a look at the way the road's configured too. Well there were some battles fought around here and one of the largest cemeteries, oldest cemeteries, not only in the
Michigan area, but also in the Midwest, when the Upper Midwest is located about two and a half, three miles to my north and a little to the east. And there, many people who fought in the French and Indian Wars are buried, although the grave sites are long, the stones are long laid flat. I know the location, in fact, I think I helped to rediscover it back in 75, 74, 75. And it was a
how do you put what was a farmland is what we became a became farm fields but it was a very barren area in that there's nothing that's really ever been built there there's a build-up around it now but uh... the area of this particular stretches the uh... headwater of the long trek down to uh... again let you explain in detroit to the here on river near on and uh... warring parties swept back and forth over this area time and time again this whole place lasted uh...
through the later part of that. Interestingly enough, not through the French any worse, but later in that, about 1821 for this particular building is when the core of it was built. The foundation goes back farther, so we can assume there was an even older structure on this site, and they improved and built a new one with some of those fancy wood cutting tools. A lot of veterans buried a couple miles away from where I am right now, but even the stones are gone. But if you know where to look,
Veterans came back and people who were family members of the French explorers who also were buried there, almost 300 of them from one expedition. They all died of yellow fever and all kinds of other diseases. They were part of the group trying to find a Northwest Passage. Came back, that's actually what started the cemetery many, many years ago in the 1700s where they came back, they passed, they set up a camp because many of them were ill and most of them passed away there so they did a mass burial and did a good job of marking the graves and became the
the basis for the cemetery. Through the War of 1812, many war people were buried there. What was interesting is veterans, or family members of the veterans who fell there, went over to and got what's called a Jerusalem tree, purchased one from the Middle East, brought it back by sailing ship, brought it up through the St. Lawrence, and that tree stands as an ancient, almost, not a stump, but it's a pretty tired looking tree, but I know right where I can walk to it.
in the middle of this overgrown field, you know, slash, it's now, of course, part of a historical marker. The only thing that you're gonna see that's made out of stone, it's just the tree itself. You're old now, it's fascinating. When you take a look at some of the things, if you make the effort to look at the history of our country, even the areas just around you, you don't know what you're gonna find. And it's fascinating to think that, you know, when you walk up and look at that, there's somebody, when it was a sampling, when it was a small tree, that moved it all halfway across the globe.
walked it, they sailed it, walked it again cross country. They brought it to this site, the family showed up, they commemorated the site, the veterans were remembered. Now think about all the effort it took to do that because that's part of, again, history and heritage. There's a lot of people that wouldn't even make the effort to get up and take a look out the window if a veteran's parade went by and that's a sorry situation. It's very sad. Well instead we can make the effort ourselves because it's in our hearts where we're going to keep the memory of all these veterans.
A lot of people from Vietnam, a lot of people from Korea, World War II. What about the guys? Of course, we know they're there for the wrong reason in the Middle East. They truly are, and I'm not embarrassed about saying that at all. They're there for the wrong reason. They're family members. So you gotta remember, those that fell, they might have fallen. They didn't fall for the defense of this nation this time around. I hate to say it, but it's true. There's no Iraqi navy. There's no Iraqi Air Force. We killed all of them. We destroyed all of them. We sank all of them. We burned all of them.
All we've been doing now is just garborating the wreckage. That's all we're doing. We're doing nothing good, and every foot still, men are in uniform, and they're probably your brother, might be your sister. That's sad and should never have happened. They could be your uncle, could be your dad. Again, there are ways that you can remember them, but not just a little plastic flag, please. Okay, I understand that maybe that's all you got for the moment. Make an effort, take the time, come up with something that's going to be a permanent monument.
Something's gonna last through the weather. Something's gonna last through the cold. Something's gonna last through the wind. Maybe not forever, because nothing lasts forever, but allows people to make a point of saying, you know, he was here, I was here. Some way that we can remember that. So the man is not forgotten. And that's the most important thing. Because heritage, our history, there's ways to go. Gonna get an opportunity maybe to, and hopefully let's keep it to a minimum, but if war breaks out here in the United States,
We're going to be making a lot more veterans. We're going to be making, we're going to unfortunately have to dig in some more graves to people. Let's try to keep that to a minimum. Let's do a better job of training. Let's do a better job of preparing. Let's make sure that when the turncoats that we have in Washington try to destroy the economy of this country, because they're getting ready to try and dump it in some way. Well, let's be ready before that happens. That's all part of this integrated process. The soldier was supposed to be protecting us. He can't protect us from treason from within like this.
That's going to be all of our jobs. Eventually he will help to clean up the trees in Washington. And the soldiers will be able to do that. And a lot of them will see and do see and do understand what's going on. They understand the threat. They understand the global threat. A lot of them have bought into it, but a lot of them still have not. And a lot of them are just biding their time and watching the boobies who think they're going to hand us over to the United Nations, to the globalists, to the economists, the ecologists, all the boneheads who never lifted a shovel in their life, never worked for a living ever.
These characters are so far around the corner they can't see the corner anymore. Well, we can. We can see the corner they went around. So I'll tell you what, let's arm ourselves really well and make sure they don't come back around. As long as they keep heading down the road, we don't mind. We can take care of the situation on our own. We don't need this far as the globalists. They got a wonderful idea, take it down the road. It'll work just fine without us. We'll go do what we're doing. They can do what they're doing. Show me that it works.
course the vulture and the vampire will always tell you because they're always hungry they need new victims that we have to turn things over to them okay the spirit of those veterans who have passed before us is the spirit that lives in every one of you you're armed you're equipped you're trained be ready to fight that's simple for me that's the only option we have if they try to take our liberty and I know they will it's not an if it's only don't you think that the men who saw the American Revolution Company coming understood the same thing not a matter if
Don't be put let down by it, just a reverse. We've got a beautiful day today, we have many beautiful days to come, gonna have some storms too. We get through the storms, we're gonna go through to the other side, we're gonna enjoy ourselves and those miserable rotten souls on the other side, well to Hades they will go. Okay, that's simple. Then we can go on with our traditions, our heritage, just like today, we're gonna honor our veterans every year, hopefully a little more often if we have our way.
They've done everything they can to cut those holidays down because we had to incorporate more of these foolish nonsense holidays from overseas. We're going to chuck those out the window too. We need to have a few more memorial type days. We got them on the calendar. We're just not honoring them properly. We'll show you how to do that again. And when the time comes, you can break out the bunting claw. You can break out the flag, a real one. You can enjoy the wealth of food, resources that we have, which we will build with our own hands.
We're going to have a wonderful life. It's going to be a great day. It's a great day now. We're getting towards the top of the hour here. And Memorial Day is for all of us to remember all of them that have fallen. God bless the Republic, death of the New World Order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We're on the march. Let's chase them down the road with the bayonet. Sit them around that corner and keep them there. God bless. Be up the next hour.
Did you read this? Chicago just became the murder capital of America. I don't understand. It's been a felony to have a gun since 95. I thought that was supposed to prevent murders. I'd increase them. Criminals will always find a way to get guns, while the rest of us are just left defenseless. Chicago authorities have seized over 75,000 firearms since 1995. And now, Chicago's murder rate is twice as high as New York City. Tonight, while you're asleep, criminals will be at work.
Not in Kennesaw, Georgia. In 1982, our city passed a law requiring every household to have a gun. It terrified the criminals, and our violent crime rate is now 75% below the national average. We sleep well here in Kennesaw. Americans who own guns prevent over a million violent crimes every year and save lives. Get the facts. Visit armedandsecure.org. That's armedandsecure.org.
